I had a scalp treatment from Bella today and it was wonderful! Bella was professional, courteous, and made me feel so relaxed. I also appreciate that this is a smaller boutique experience - it felt much more personalized to my needs and the quality of care was a lot better than some of the services I’ve received from larger businesses. I’ll definitely be back!Give yourself time to grab a coffee from next door’s Queen City Collective as well as a breakfast sandwich (made my Pandemic Donuts - I think).

Awesome way to kick off my birthday with a massage and facial! Loved the vibe of the whole place, the massage was exactly what I needed with excellent pressure, and the facial was amazing! I loved the arm/neck/shoulder massage as each mask was drying on the face - truly felt pampered. Highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

Treated myself a a scalp and facial combo today and it did not disappoint! I basically came out of there feeling like a noodle and smelling nice :). It was my first ever scalp treatment and my hair is thick and heavy and I really enjoyed everything about my experience. Katrina was very nice and personable and I loved her vibe and bedsidemanner. Would definitely book again!

The absolute best local business for your skincare and wellness needs. The owner, Alex, goes above and beyond and dives into the internal issues that can cause external skin issues. Every time I meet with Alex for microneedling, she always showcases her deep understanding of how the body regulates itself. I usually book with Alex, but I don’t think you could go wrong with anyone who works here! On top of providing amazing service, this business is extremely ethical. I have never once been pressured into buying products that I may not need or been charged an unreasonable price for any service, unlike other big name companies or salons that may try to sell you on products or services you don’t need to keep revenue up/achieve quotas. Great place!! And maybe most importantly, I see results from my services!

You know the moment you walk in that you are going to be accepted, taken care of and completely pampered. I’ve been seeing Alex for years and I love how incredibly smart she is about skincare, overall health and taking care of our bodies from the inside out. Do NOT skip the scalp treatment either. It was unlike any other experience. 10/10 every time I visit.

Just wow! I get a massage 10-15x/year and Heather is one of the best massage therapists Ive come across in a long time. The experience was absolutely lovely. I came in with a decent amount of pain and I left feeling none. I cannot wait to return! Thank you!

Recently visited Skin and Muscles for the first time to get a 40 min face, head, neck and shoulder massage and even though it wasn’t long, it was amazing! I felt comfortable during the session and very relaxed afterwards. The masseuse did a good job of explaining to me what she was doing and asking if I was comfortable. I booked for their popular scalp treatment in a few weeks and am super excited to see how that goes!

Skin and Muscle is the best place over ever received a massage and a facial. I always leave feeling relaxed. My skin has only improved from skin and muscle. My favorite is a massage with cupping from Alex. Hands down the best massage. I highly recommend skin and muscle for treatments or just a relaxing spa day.

This my first experience with getting a scalp treatment and it was amazing. The most relaxing treatment I’ve ever had. Highly recommend setting up an appointment with Amanda. She was awesome!

Wow is the word I would use to describe the scalp treatment from Amy at Skin and Muscles Salon. The treatment is so relaxing and used products that smell and feel amazing . It includes the halo water feature. This feature alone is something you have to experience for yourself. Imagine a head massage with hands and water at the same time.The dry and wet hair combing were both relaxing and help detox your scalp. There is also a massage including arms, hands, neck and shoulders.Finally after your head and hair feel amazing, you end the treatment with a blow out. My hair and scalp feel amazing. Amy was fantastic. She has hands of gold and a beautiful presence to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend Amy and this treatment.

I hate to say that I didn’t like my experience. Amy is a very kind woman and has a lot of cosmetology experience. But, my expectation of the experience was that it would be relaxing, and more like a spa experience and I unfortunately did not feel like that what I got. My provider was rough with my neck and flip it side to side kind of aggressively, pulled my hair, was rough with brushing, the scrubbing my hard and with nails and vigorous. I didn’t get much of a scalp massage at all but more of brushing through my hair with fingers, the lights were on the entire service, the music wasn’t relaxing, I asked for firm pressure in my intake form for my massage and I also don’t feel I received that. They used the halo rinse on my scalp which was nice but the water went from hot to cold often and then they end up spray out your hair anyway and it takes away from the peaceful moment you get from it. This is beyond their control I’m sure, but closer to the end of my service the equipment made a horrible noise and may have broken. I just didn’t have a very peaceful experience. I really wanted to love my experience, but maybe this service just isn’t for me.

After seeing the viral Japanese head spa I had to try it out!! It was soooo relaxing that my hair and scalp felt good, cleaned, and relaxed! I highly recommend Skin and Muscles 10/10

Ive been coming to Skin and Muscles for years and it is always an exceptional experience. From the moment I walk through the door, I am greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately puts me at ease.The staff at Skin and Muscles is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They really take the time to understand specific needs and preferences, ensuring that each client receives a personalized and tailored treatment. I have received massages from both Gaby and Alex and both therapists are highly skilled and demonstrate a deep understanding of various massage techniques. I suffer from incredible low and upper back pain and have found great relief coming here. If you havent been here yet, I highly recommend you do!

Ive been to Skin&Muscles now (3) times. Ive loved every single experience. Alex does an incredible job listening and accommodating the needs of my body that day. It makes so much sense to do the massage & facial combo. For facials, I have sensitive skin so Alex accommodates for my needs. I love the sequencing of her service and leave feeling refreshed & re-centered.Her music is great - its vibe-y covers of popular songs which, for me, is the perfect listening music to relax. Familiar but still new. Not nature sounds or overly etherial.Alex is an expert at her craft and very kind. Ill be returning again, often. Thank you Alex!

I did the facial and massage service today and it was quite literally the best service I’ve ever had. Worth every penny. My skin is glowing and the massage was relaxing and enjoyable. Most massages I’ve gotten from around the area are almost painful, but skin and muscles does it perfect. Could not recommend this more. My friends have already booked their appointments after I’ve raved about it, and you should too!!!

Amy was amazing the Scalp detox treatment was incredible. I can not believe the difference in my hair. I have super dry hair, this will definitely be a monthly thing for me!

Living in downtown Denver is hard to find a good affordable massage and skincare place... Until I found Skin and Muscles! They specialize in massages and facials. I got the massage and facial combo and it was so amazing. I have never felt so relaxed in my life and my face is absolutely glowing! Ive had quite a few massages in my life and Ive never laid on a more comfortable massage table. They let you customize what oil smell you want which I just loved. My husband chose lavender and I had orange! They also let you pick the music to play while getting the massage which was a great extra touch. They were so easy to work with and so easy to book with and the gals there were SO NICE! I cant wait to come back!!!

Got the massage and facial (80 minutes). I won’t be going to any other facial place. Alex was amazing and I walked out feeling dewy and refreshed! And her table is like laying in the comfiest bed ever! 12/10 recommend to everyone!!

The location is great. There is free parking nearby. The walls are thin, so if you are going to relax and unwind during your massage, you will hear everything/conversation in the room next door.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Alex! I just finished her acne bootcamp and it was the best decision I have made for my skin! I have tried everything under the sun to help my acne… dermatologist, diets, skin care products, etc. I felt like I was going to suffer through bad skin forever. Then I found Alex and my life changed! We sat down for a consultation where we talked about a plan for my skin, what’s causing the acne, supplements that can help. We had appointments every two weeks for three months.I’ve completed stopped wearing foundation and trying to cover up my skin. Not only did she make my skin happy and healthy, but she educated me along the way to help maintain my goal skin. Alex is the acne treatment queen!

I came to Skin and Muscles for the first time to get a facial and massage from Alex. not only was i happy to get both services done in one appointment, but she was offering a discount for HER birthday month🥹 for the entire appointment there was not a single thing i would change or ask for more of!!she is easy to engage with, knowledgeable of her skill- the body, skin, etc. she gave me wonderful advice for overall health and wellness 😇since my first appointment, i’ve had another facial/massage and microneedling. frankly, i can’t get enough!! i bought nearly my entire family gift cards to go see her if that says anything🤩😍 i have a follow up microneedling appt tomorrow for either microdermabrasion or dermaplaning and i CANT WAIT!

Alex is an amazing esthetician who you can trust !! After my first chem peel, I noticed a difference right away. The only thing lovelier than the naturally lit space and perfect location of skin & muscles is the owner, Alex. I’ve been working with her for over a year and the texture of my skin has significantly improved. She is knowledgable, trustworthy, and so nonjudgmental- which is something those of us with acne certainly appreciate. She always sends me home with goodies and makes sure I know how I can best care for my skin. She recognizes the role our general health plays in the reflection of our skin and makes sure her clients do too. She’s the first gal to ever care for my skin and I don’t think I’ll ever leave 😊 I can’t recommend skin & muscles enough!

This was one of the more subpar massage and facial experiences I have ever had. Before the service I told her exactly what I was looking for out of the facial and my current concerns, asking if she does extractions and she said yes, and yet there were no extractions performed in the facial. She also went straight from massaging my feet to cleansing my face without washing her hands, which is generally known in treatment protocols as something you don’t do, and was shocking especially after I told her I’ve been having issues with acne and clogged pores. All and all a very disappointing experience and personally wouldn’t recommend
