The psychic Show down in the speakeasy was absolutely amazing. I’m told they do it once a month. We went in full costume and sat right up front. What an amazing show. Well worth the money. It was a blast laughter throughout the entire place. There was definitely a line for drinks and food, it was sold out. They did have some unique drinks. This is sugary board and the fries were both good. That is what we had. When we were done downstairs and came upstairs, there was a live band. That was also really good. The parking is not the best there’s street parking and there is a parking lot kind of across the street. I will definitely be going again personally. Go check it out.
The brunch board is huge. Like charcuterie meets brunch so that was a little 🤔 but it was all yummy and the presentation is fabulous. Daughter ordered Avacado toast. It is only one slice but a big one. She loved it! The deviled eggs which I didn’t get a picture of because we were so hungry, were the tastiest thing for sure. They were not slammed so was a bit confused about why the service was slow. Don’t be in a hurry. The decor is cute. Brick and hanging plants just lovely. We would try again for live music or the speakeasy.
Found this place after our primary dinner plans fell through. Don’t let it fool you the food is too notch, staff is fun and knowledgeable, better than well stocked bar, and live music. A great night out!!! 10/10 would recommend!
Everything was perfect. The entire staff were super friendly, the food we had was delicious definitely recommend the garlic fries and the physic soulmates show was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this to friends!
I absolutely adore this spot! Roxy has the cutest vibe right when you walk in with hanging plants, an expansive backbar, and plenty of room for seating. The staff couldnt be anymore accommodating when it comes to deciding what to drink. Definitely try one of the unique creations on the cocktail list.
First time visiting Roxys. We stopped in without prior planning and were thrilled to have open bar area seats, live performances and a very engaging audience. The food had great flavors and we appreciated the ability to make many dishes vegetarian friendly. Our one feedback is that the kitchen should consider a meat alternative burger so that customers can easily swap out patties on any of their burgers/sandwiches. We are looking forward to bringing friends next time.
Love The Roxy! I got the breakfast skillet which was delicious. Some unique cocktails and some classics which were all beautiful made by a really sweet, fun bartender named Heather. Also, the music selection slaps. Had a great time :)
We had a party of six on a Sunday. The bloody marys are the best! We loved the little beer shoter that came along with it. The everything but the kitchen sink is well worth the price and value. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back.
Great staff, fun atmosphere, delicious food, bottomless mimosas, do I need to say more? I was a bit disappointed by their brunch menu since it is fancier than I usually like but what we did order (breakfast sandwiches and the baked brie) was very yummy! All the staff was attentive, fun, and personable. Loved the disco ball and dj for a very cool and upbeat atmosphere. When they closed they gave us a tour of the speak easy and that looked so cool! Last note was the womens bathroom although tiny (2 stalls) was really cool with pennies on the floor! I had to edit this because I totally forgot my friend left her phone in the bathroom and when she went looking for it, someone turned it in and they were charging it at the bar... 5 stars isnt enough for this place!
The host was super friendly and while the bartenders were all really friendly, and remembered your name when i came in at 830 it was like pulling teeth to get an order in.I should also note their regular menu items stop at 859, and at 9 their late night food menu starts.I did end up ordering the fried chicken wrap with fries and both were amazing. But i was really in the mood for a burger and had i received service in the 30 minutes i was waiting. Could have got my order in.The atmosphere was really laid back and cool and they have a speakeasy in the basement.
Amazing vib! The live music was terrific and the band and servers were super friendly and down to earth. Happy off bottles of wine on Wednesdays is a great deal. Service was a bit slow, but I will absolutely be coming back.
Fun and eclectic South Broadway bar with intimate stage / performance area. Food is a step above the usual air-fryer fare, but service can be spotty. Probably only gonna eat there if youre watching a show. We saw a Burlesque review that was funny and wonderful, but you might want to be selective in the events and bands you choose as they cater to a wide variety of tastes. Check your bill - our table got charged double on a bottle of wine, probably an honest error, but it took some time to rectify. Broadway can be sketchy at night, be aware of your surroundings. Oh yeah, fries are killer.
Edit (went a couple more times): Atmosphere and music were great, but the drinks left a lot to be desired. Dry gin martini (simple classic cocktail) was a big flop as was my negroni
The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the live music is great! Love the food, too. Great place to hang with friends.
Went here for the first time to catch some live music. Sounded awesome. I tip my hat to the sound engineer. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. We got the Roxy Melt and The Reuben sandwich with garlic fries. We washed our dishes down with some stellar cocktails. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Really cool venue, it has such potential! The exposed brick and decor are very vintage-Gatsby era. We were there for dinner among friends on live DJ night. The live DJ was slightly awkward because the music was quite loud early in the evening, and it was difficult to talk with friends during cocktails. It felt like the DJ should have turned up the volume later in the evening.
Best Brussel sprouts ever! And the Bees Knees is to die for. Savage Resistance is very great music!
This is my kinda place! The staff was very nice. Drinks were good and always full! Perfect venue and setting for a good band to listen and enjoy and relax!!
The spot has great ambiance. The staff all had attitude. Essentially a great place to hear live music, but they may need more help with staffing, since all the staff seemed overworked and short with customers.
I love coming to live music events at Roxy on Broadway. Their red velvet backdrop is a must-see for any concertgoer, and makes for a cool and relaxed vibe in the space. Their drinks are delicious and the food is tasty, too. If you enjoy live music in the Denver area, Roxy is an absolute must.
Terribilis est locus iste - Latin for this place is terrible is written on the roof planks here I think it was supposed to be ironic but it had me wondering what the Latin word for service is. Felt legitimately discriminated against and the service was awful
Rachel was phenomenal. So attentive! The brunch charcuterie board is brilliant. $35 and multiple people can split it. We didn’t even need to get anything else to eat. $18 bottomless mimosas. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and the music is a little too loud unfortunately. I could hardly hear my friend talk. The DJs were awesome so I understand why the music is that way but it makes for a challenging way to have a conversation. I will definitely be back through!
Could be a dope spot but the food and service is seriously lacking. Made a reservation a week in advance and they were so ill prepared it was uncomfortable. Gratuity was included in the bill which normally wouldn’t be an issue but because they knew that it seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to even make a simple food order correctly or come back and take a drink order. Had to go to the bar several times to get missed food orders and drinks. Music & DJ on point
This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots! Great drinks, friendly staff, and awesome music. Definitely stop by and check it out!
First time for me at this establishment, I met some friends for drinks. They open at 5p, which was a little odd, but we arrived right when they opened. Food, drinks and service were awesome, and they were getting ready for a show of some kind as we were heading out. I read on the menu that its also a speakeasy, which adds to the character of the place. The falafel slides were on point, and Ill definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Happy hour drinks, $2 which was nice and a good selection of wines, cocktails, and mocktails. A few beers to try, but they were tasty! Definitely worth the stop in!
The food was ok but the service and venue were amazing!! Thank you so much to Drew for helping make the day even better still, absolutely amazing customer service!
I love the Roxy it’s a great place to just and vibe out with a group of friends or solo the people that work here are amazing and the drinks are perfect!!!!
Great food, nice ambiance, and nice live music. A lot of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. The burger was delicious!
This has to be one of Denvers best kept secrets. Gotta say the food and drinks are really good here. Tried 4 cocktails between the 2 and each were memorable (2 were gin). Shame seeing so many people drinking beer. Sheppard pie was the best Ive had in a while, brussel sprouts were amazing and the falafel was some of the best Ive had in Denver. The live funk music was great. Probably one of my favorite nights out in a while.
Attended for the evening entertainment. The bands were very good! My favorite was Opium!! The house sound mixer seriously needs to evaluate things a bit. He did not do the three bands justice. The music way overpowered the vocals. Unfortunately the volume was also to much for the venue size, distortion comes to mind...
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, overall vibe, and live music is great. We hope more live music venues pop up in Denver. The city needs it! We will be recommending this place to everyone we know, we want to see it thrive!!
We went for the live music and stayed for the food and werent disappointed. Music was very good, everyone who works here was really nice!
I had a turkey club with a side of breakfast potatoes. The sandwich was quite delicious and the potatoes were among the best Ive ever had.
This place definitely doesnt enjoy walk ins you better make reservations and the Avocado toast was the saddest excuse every for the price. I would find a better breakfast place.
Went for drinks and a burlesque show, really cool space and great service!
I went to the Roxy on broadway in Denver and it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. First they would not let a 23 year old drink with a vertical ID (which isnt a law just a restaurant policy) she also had a scan of a passport. Upon asking about the policy the manager chose to respond with pure rudeness. This man will not take the time to even have a conversation with customers or be seen in his own restaurant. He was disrespectful and almost made us walk out the door right then , staying ended up being a regrettable choice. We were then given the wrong order, missing food, and horrid cocktails. Do not come to this establishment. Staff was nice, manager ruined the whole experience.
Paula and her entire staff are a joy to work with! I own a dance studio in Denver and absolutely cannot wait to host our Student Showcase here in April!
Happy hour on Thursday night! Came for the music and will be back!
Delicious Brunch… We’ve never been here before and the falafel balls are incredible and so are they salmon eggs Benedict! The staff is so incredible and they even have some live DJ music for brunch! Highly recommend!
The staff here are great! The drinks are really good.Ive tried a few food items, not too shabby. The speak easy is a really nice touch, I believe they could do so much more in it...However I still think its a great place to spend time and money.Shout out to the owner!
Though Syntax remains so deep in my heart and will be remembered for having helped define a part of Denver’s cultural history during its brief time, the new changes have brought some new life under Broadway Roxy. We’ll have to see how this new chapter unfolds but this place is still home to some of the best parties in town. And I look forward to continuing making it a home.
Went to a friend’s show here and the venue is beautiful. Cozy to relax in and also fun to dance in. Bar service was quick and delicious. Drinks were affordable and the location had free street parking this time of night. Would def be back!
Terrible food, cold, they got the wrong order, didn’t bring half of it. Seriously the worst cocktail anyone had ever tasted. They hopefully poured the wrong thing but not sure. Manager was a jerk to us and employees. Not a good place.
This is a fun, low key spot for taking in an evening of live music. As a musician, one of the coolest, unique small venues Denver has to offer. The food is pretty good. Theres a whole speakeasy bar / green room area on the bottom floor. Sometimes at places like this you might find the workers to be pretentious hipsters who listen to Arcade Fire, but this was not the case in my experience. Everyone I interacted with was personable and friendly. I would absolutely recommend coming here for live music or a casual date night.Edit* Previous review may have been too harsh on the sound guy. We did have a lot of issues on stage, which was frustrating since we did a line check before the opening band played. We also gave him a Tascam to record our show from the soundboard, when we got it back, nothing was recorded, oops. However he seems like a nice guy and was at least receptive to what we were asking from him - he is young so I think he will improve as he gains more experience.
Stopped by for an afternoon cocktail and the Bloody Marys lived up to the awards they have received! I had a Negroni which was also delicious. We sat at the bar and our server was lovely; the music perfect and we will definitely come again!
This place is always on my list of places when I visit my family in the Denver area. The menu is a fun mix of regional selections, the cocktails are both imaginative but something you know, and they frequently have some fun live music! Its not a place to have an intimate, quiet dinner, but definitely a place to bring your friends and enjoy an awesome atmosphere! The service is always top notch, and the food is always delicious. Whether you come here for brunch or dinner, youll have a fantastic time!
Probably one of the best dining experiences Ive had since COVID hit. They said they had a big unexpected party downstairs and needed to rotate servers, but every one of them was super attentive. The food was amazing. Top 10 fries of my life with the burger, which was also amazing. Drinks were great. Everyone was satisfied.
Awesome atmosphere. Great DJ, food, and drinks
I forgot that there was this much fun in Denver Plus wonderful food. Went here Tuesday for the Arts Caravan Show. What a kick in the pants! I had a yummy Chardonnay Awesome deviled eggs and smoked salmon flat bread. I cant wait to go back next month. The Arts Caravan encouraged foolishness and costumes. What could be better?
Second time here, once for dinner, this time for brunch. Looooove it here. Such a chill and welcoming spot. Music both times fantastic. Food delicious. Drinks fabulous 💖 Super stoked to keep coming back!
Extremely high prices for barely bar food. The waitress changed our drinks without speaking to us about it then got an attitude when we disputed the taste and the bill. $100 for 4 drinks. Horrible atmosphere due to 2 different types of bands playing at once. Never going back.
The DJ and the staff were great. Good music and friendly service. The food and booze was lacking. The bottomless mimosas were all orange juice and I’m not sure it was even champagne. They were out of lox so we ordered the bagel anyway. So little cream cheese it was very sad. We also ordered the croissant sandwich and they were out of croissants so we subbed with sourdough. The only toast on the sourdough was from the red heat light and the sandwich had almost zero sauce and no taste so much so we asked them to take it back. They did kindly and assured us it’s normally better. I wish it was better! Maybe an off day because it’s a nice location but needs tweaking to be the 4.6 I see online..
Happy it’s just as great of a spot after buying from Syntax. Only thing is would like to see more vegetarian/vegan options on menu! 😄
We got invited to see a burlesque show, and everything about our experience was perfection! Such a cool little spot! Im always a fan of low lighting to set the mood, and the Roxy didnt disappoint! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, the truffle fries, the falafel balls, and the baked brie, and oh em gee!!! All of it was divine! The burlesque show was extremely entertaining and the staff were friendly and attentive! Would definitely recommend this place! They also opened the basement speakeasy which was such a cool space! I will definitely be reaching out to see if they rent that space for private events!
Went there for brunch and got the brunch board. It was delicious and plentiful. Depending on appetites you could easily feed three people, maybe four.
We went for new years day brunch @ 1. They had ran out of just about every dish because they didnt have essential ingredients to complete the dish. They offered the dishes that were left, none of what we wanted. We finished our mimosas & left without eating. Our server was extremely nice & apologetic is why he earned 5 stars on the service meter. Our 1st and last visit.
Been going here for almost a year now best restaurant/bar I know the staff is awesome!
Love the brunches here!! Super fun and the staff is always great!
Great staff! Super friendly. The covid distancing wasn’t bad, the service was very respectable. They had a DJ for brunch. That was new for us, but it worked well. The food was very tasty. We had the burrito, the Benedict and the club sandwich. All of them top notch.Good coffee too.The Bloody Mary was well worth it.
We came on a Saturday night. PJ Moon was a fantastic musician and super fun to listen to. All of the waitstaff were attentive and pleasant. The drinks were great, and the food was outstanding. Our favorite dishes were the poke nachos, the crispy brussel sprouts, and the short rib sliders. Were excited to return with friends and family. Loved it!
Brunch today was incredibly disappointing. Cafeteria-grade ingredients, I’m talking McD’s style sausage patty’s, scrambled eggs cooked into a dry flat pancake, pico that is 85% onion. My breakfast burrito flat-out sucked.Giving more than one star because the bottomless mimosas were flowing and the bloody Mary’s looked amazing. This is an awesome atmosphere for a Fri evening but not a good brunch place. The waiter even said “we’re not really a brunch place” although they have a dedicated brunch menu. They were out of much of the menu by 1pm and it was not even busy. It sounds like they have a new chef, and judging by other reviews and pics, a new menu as well.
This is a great bar. We went on Sinatra night and it was so fun. Drinks are reasonably priced and music was great.
This is long over due. The Roxy has become a second home for our department. At our last gathering one attendee commented that many places feel commercial, this place feels genuine and authentic. Everytime we go, someone comments about how comfortable and welcoming it is. The entire team is amazing, but Cody (general manager) and Paula (owner) take hospitality to another level. If you are looking for good vibes, great people, amazing food, and creative drinks, The Roxy is your spot.
The Speakeasy in the basement had a nice cozy atmosphere, definitely the best feature of the bar and probably its only saving grace.Overall, my experience was pretty terrible. Digital IDs were not accepted so I couldnt enjoy anything on the drink menu. It is not stated anywhere a physical ID is required or digital IDs wouldnt be accepted, I even checked the website before arriving. As someone who came for live music and didnt want to be bogged down by bag and wallet, this was incredibly inconvenient.Food was overpriced and subpar. The tahini for the falafel tasted like peanut butter, the garlic fries were hardly seasoned, and the salmon on the flat bread was salted instead of smoked as indicated on the menu.My group arrived around 845pm, it took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. By then, we were told we could only order from the late night menu even though physical menus, and digital menus, indicated normal dinner menu items were available until 10pm. When our food arrived, all from shareable menu, we didnt get any small plates and because there were only 3 dishes ordered 3 sets of silverware were provided (there were 4 of us). The napkin I received in lou of silverware was nice, I guess.I probably will not be returning or recommending this establishment, at least not without warning. I came for food, some drinks, and live music and just got a terrible experience.
Pros: Nice and clean facility with good sound and lighting in a convenient location. The music was good too with DJ Chonz and Dizzy D on the turntables.Cons: Their beer selection is very underwhelming (no Mexican beers) and the bar tenders are EXTREMELY slow and a little grumpy too.
This is the place to go for some live music, good food, and great conversations. Trevor Michael was playing when we were there, and he was great! Love the guitar riffs that he did. The deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries were very good. My fave out of all was the truffle fries. The crunchy texture plus the pungent truffle oil taste were a powerful combination. The interior was gorgeous, and I’m low-key kicking myself for not taking pics for the memories. Oh well, guess I gotta go back 🤷🏻♀️
So impressed we went twice in one week! Great drinks and the deviled eggs and Brussels are spot on!!!
This was our first time in, and we will be back! Ill be honest...we picked this place because a) we hadnt been, and b) multiple reviews raved about the food, so when we first saw the menu, we were a bit disappointed as its a fairly small selection and nothing stuck out as being super-unique or inventive. We were so wrong. The deviled eggs were fantastic and had a nice, but unexpected kick. The rueben is easily the best weve ever had. Not only was the meat tender (and you could bite through it instead of pulling a whole hunk out like a lot of reubens), but it also want overly-buttered, grilled, and smashed like many places do. Im seriously craving another just writing this. The drinks were also a hit, and while the old fashioned was very good, The Bees Knees was stellar.Oh, and the fact there was live jazz...yeah, well be back.
If you are looking for a gorgeous environment where 1920s speakeasy meets Denver open fronted dining, then look no further. The staff was impeccably dressed and service was seamless. The food was good, featuring simple well executed dishes, and the musical performer was very pleasant. My cocktail was lovely. COVID-19 safety precautions were followed. The space is intimate so be sure to make a reservation, especially for indoor seating.
Love the Wednesday night jams! A very welcoming and friendly space to meet other local players. For anyone wondering, they have the house band play and then the jam goes from 8-10pm every Wednesday.
Roxy on Broadway deserves more than 5 stars! This place is incredible!! Celebrated my birthday here for Sunday brunch. The staff Cody & Rachel (and the kitchen) were amazing. They did everything to accommodate our group of 25!! Additionally, the live Dj, food and craft cocktails are ultra fab. Everyone in our group loved this place too. Thanks for being so amazing Roxy!!!
Love this place, food is chef quality. Entertainment is excellent, not too loud but you probably will have to talk loudly or just listen to the bands. You have to/should make a reservation. One complaint is the reservation software seems to require you download yelp in order to book a table, I like booking online however I am against supporting Yelp.
We love it here! Its a neighborhood staple for me. When we were moving to the neighborhood this was the first place we stopped and we just knew we were home. Get the churro donuts, support local musicians, and buy some of the local art on the walls! Weve done all three and dont regret a single moment weve spent here.
Im very impressed! The dinner was excellent! Everything I had was superb and well-cooked with an excellent presentation of each plate. I suggest the mac n cheese because it was so delicious, I had to get a second order to go home with so I could feed my lady. She enjoyed is also. The staff was very hospitable and kind. Definitely a place to catch great eats and live shows from jazz to comedy. Got it a try
We just happened upon Roxys and it checked all the boxes- good food, good service and good atmosphere- including live music. We will be back for Wed jazz night.
Such great and VERY patient staff. Due to Covid, we were 2 of 4 people and the other 2 were your worst nightmare for customers. The bartender/waiter was so nice to them, and beyond patient. Food and drinks were great but the music was Phenomenal! Will definitely come back.
No exaggeration: this is the best meal I have ever had in my life. The vibes are immaculate, with both a bar and a dining area. The ambient lighting felt super cozy, and the live entertainment was perfectly pleasant. Service was outstanding. Drinks were boujee. And the food:Truffle Fries - great portion. Plenty of food for two. Crispy and tasty. Great choice.Brussels Sprouts - hands down the best brussels sprouts I ever had. Crispy yet creamy. Caramelized bacon. Huge portion. YOU MUST GET THESE.Sliders - I actually cried after my first bite. The flavor actually made me emotional. These three dishes combined for more than enough for two people. Could have fed 3 easily.
A beautiful spot to hear talented acts, have an exceptional meal, and enjoy a delicious cocktail curated to your liking. The whiskey selection is extensive and the tap list is top notch. Elegant and sexy vibes with a wonderful staff to make you feel comfortable. Love this place!
Great food(crispy Brussels are amazing), great service (thanks Maddie ). Enjoyed the live music too! Awesome Saturday night. Thanks Roxy!
I recently attended a burlesque show on Tuesday evening. I arrived at 7:20 PM, ordered a drink at 7:25 PM. It took me 40 minutes and 4 conversations with three of the staff to receive my first drink. It was exhausting. Once my drink came, I asked the server if she would put this on the house considering how long it took, but she charge me anyways. So unprofessional. I will not be returning ever
Absolutely amazing experience! The decor is amazing (especially the speak easy in the basement) and the service was spectacular. Although I only got a sprite the man behind the bar was incredibly nice and made the experience overall amazing. I will be returning!
The Roxy is amazing!! The drinks are unique and delicious! Employees are engaging and fun! My friends and I cant wait to go back. We had such a great time. The live music is awesome!
Love this place! We come often. So nice to be able to see live music in this time of Pandemic and feel comfortable. The food and drinks are really good. I’m a big fan of their take on the Avacado Toast. I always order my favorite drink, a Rum Runner, even though it isn’t on the menu. My husband usually has the falafel balls, though we have enjoyed everything we’ve tried on the menu. This is our neighborhood spot and our favorite place in Denver
Fantastic show! The food is great. They have excellent taste in hot sauce as well. Very happy I came
Came during a Jazz event, bartender Rory made me a fantastic cocktail. Great vibe and friendly and knowledgeable service!
Awesome food, awesome staff, awesome drinks, awesome music. BETTER vibe. Part upscale feeling bistro, part underground speakeasy. Amazing.
We love this bar for second Fridays but the band is terrible. It’s like elevator music and even our 60 yr old friends said it was horrible. It’s so slow it makes you tired and drives away customers. Our friends don’t won’t to come back next month because of the depressing band unfortunately. Please feature more modern music.
Rose was our server and she was great. She was attentive throughout and made our experience super enjoyable.
Came here on a Thursday 2/11/21 live music was such a refreshing sound and experience! Avo. Toast and falafel burger were so delicious! Eve at the door was awesome, such great conversation! Amanda our server was timely and professional. Paula even came by and said hello we appreciate you guys being open! We can NOT wait to be back!
Wow, I saw an awesome show here featuring Shanghai Metro Temple. What a great venue! Possibly saw John Stamos in the mens room.
How do I begin to even give a decent review... went into a completely empty bar at 8:30pm for a late dinner. Little do we understand, although there’s no one here, we don’t get a waiter to come back to us for 25 more minutes. This “now open” Roxy will close soon if they can’t get their staff to assist potential customers. Also - how can you have a nice dinner when all of the lights turn out while a band plays?
Went to a burlesque show and had a blast! Really creative cocktails, kind bartenders, nice cozy size, and an interesting stage setup.
Solidly good food. Nice wait staff. Clean bathrooms. And for our brunch they cooked my over-medium eggs perfectly! That gave them the 5th star. Parking lot behind in the alley; must enter in front.
Roxy on Broadway was everything we expected and more! The menu has a wide variety of options, and the music is so fun and upbeat. When they say bottomless mimosas... they mean it!! I don’t think my glass was ever empty. Our server Jayme went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Amanda was soooo on top of keeping the waters and mimosas filled. Everything is so clean and covid friendly, we felt comfortable the entire time. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely in love with the Meatballs!! Being Italian myself, its comfort food reminiscent of childhood. And the Raviolis are PERFECT! Their Pesto is the best Ive had in Denver HANDS DOWN. I look forward to visiting for Brunch in the near future, Ive heard awesome things... Brava!
LOVE this place! Safe place for LGBTQ+ for NYE celebrations. Cody was so kind in getting our (larger than anticipated) group into a lovely section, all together. Thanks, friends!
Imagine walking into the shire. There is a bar, it’s unsuspecting. It used to have a different name but you don’t know why you know that, only that it is mostly the same. There are good drinks, amazing food, the staff is maybe better somehow, maybe that is just the polish on something old, it’s hard to say. You long for the forgotten, not the chain, not the ‘usual’ and yet, there is everything unusual here. This is a true bar, one that you yearn to know those who work here because you want to be a part of something. So come here, drink good drink, eat their amazing food, and become a part of the Syntax/Roxy club. All are welcome. All are invited. I look forward to seeing you here.
Even after the venue changed hands, it has remained a mainstay on South Broadway. There are very few smaller venues left in Denver for local acts to get stage time at and Broadway Roxy has stayed warm and welcoming. Im happy to see that they are continuing to book excellent local talent, from different genres and age groups. Awesome people behind the bar too:)
Went to a show a couple weeks ago. The line to go in (with tickets) was a little chaotic. Drinks are decently priced. Im not a huge fan of the overall layout for the venue. There are two many tables in the back, so theres less room for people to stand during a sold out show. The benches on the sides are also a bit odd in the GA area. The layout may just be from the old days of syntax physic opera. Great place for local live music though.
Third time with friends at Broadway Roxy. The bartenders never seem to see shorter statured patrons. I waited for over 40 minutes this time for a 6 person drink order. It was never taken! I walked away in disbelief. I returned 2 more times before giving up.Again, this is the third time Ive been in with the same issue. We have money, in your establishment to entertain friends who wanted to go there after the discouragement due to service. And yet here we are.Disappointed in the service. The venue and music have been great, yet all three times with no service or drinks.PS my friend had us walk 12 blocks to get here for this service. To go to Syntax.
Really great drinks. Haven’t had much of their food, so can’t comment confidently on that. Always friendly staff, great live music, too!
Well done renovation of an older spot. Nice drinks and super friendly staff. Didnt eat, overfull from Adrift, so will withhold comment on food till then.Hope to see some local younger bands here in the near future!
Great makeover of the space previously occupied by Syntax Physic Opera. Open, excellent lighting, nice tables and booth seating. Dance floor, good soundsystem. Bartenders were really friendly and helpful. Barbacks could have been a bit more on top of it. Yves at the door is DELIGHTFUL. I recommend and will definitely come back! Really, really enjoyed myself with friends for Mile High Soul Club - danced the night away.
The waitstaff went out of their way to support our reservations and even got our tables seated together during prime dinner time on a Saturday! Thank you! I will be back, and bring friends, for sure!!
Hidden gem, speakeasy was quaint and served great cocktails. It was fun to move upstairs for some dance vibes later in the evening
Nonexistent service. I didnt even get the food I ordered. Decent atmosphere.
Great cocktail bar in its own right, but coming here for the live music is whats up! This has become a regular neighborhood spot for me.
Love the Roxy on Broadway! great vibes with local acts nightly. the food is also amazing with strong cocktails. been there many times with my wife.
Amazing! The staff is lovely and truly make for a fun, welcoming experience. The food is great and the bottomless mimosas are truly bottomless. Will be back!
Roxy on Broadway is what has been missing from Denver for years now.A place with good food, good drinks, great atmosphere, and amazing staff. Staff who all help one another out, filling any empty drink they see.The cherry on top was receiving the bill and looking at the “TIP” section.Finding a place to leave a tip for the musical entertainer was amazing.
Great vibes and bringing live music and entertainment back to Broadway. Caught two bands and both were great. Great drinks and service. Loved it and will def be back.
The staff here is very snobby. The host acted like he was doing me a favor bu letting me in and the bartender acted like she had better things ti do than serve me.The food was nothing to write home aboutThere was a big wad of fat in my pulled pork sandwichYuck!
Food was tasty. But pricey though. Our waitress was great and impressive given the number of people and it being just her on the floor.
Live around the corner and never tried their brunch. The parade of bloody marys to the tables was worth it alone. Great menu, great drink selection and wonderful staff.
What a fun place! Just went in April and there is lots of events like live music and open mic nights. The staff is very friendly and inviting. Best Rebuen sandwich I have ever had!
Unique atmosphere, great cocktails, and wonderful live music. Their prices were a bit on the high side imo, but thats probably an economy issue not a them thing.
Killer music from Kevin Matthews and crew; food was excellent, drinks tasty and service friendly. The space looks awesome. So fun to have a place like this in the neighborhood!
Excellent food, friendly and professional staff, great environment and excellent live entertainment. We had a wonderful Friday evening here, thank you Roxy on Broadway!
Great atmosphere and music. The food was amazing! I liked that my group could still hold a conversation without having to shout.
Service was great! Cocktails were yummy and there was plenty of options to choose from. The live music was a plus! Highly recommend
This place is awesome! Love it!
Intimate venue with a speakeasy basement and awesome bar staff. Great mocktail menu, too
Management and staff are nothing short of amazing. Food and drinks were also amazing.
Saw some great local folk music and ate a feast of comfort food. Too rated beers and fabulous service. Loved 5he atmosphere.
Beautiful hip ambiance often times with live music of a DJ, creative menu for both drinks and food that doesn’t fail to impress in any way
We performed at his place and it was a wonderful night! Staff is great beer is good and live music every night makes this place over the top
Great weeknight Dance music with sidebar to step away for conversation and cocktails! Great friendly service and beer recommendation!
This is a great place If you want bar tenders that poor to heavy and have no responsibility of cutting people off. Blacking out after 1 drink is inexcusable for any establishment.
Arts Caravan every 3rd Tuesday is fantastic. Magic, comedy, fire, rope loops and hula hoops. Good sh¡t. Ill be back.
Such a cute spot! Live music and great vibes all around. The staff was friendly and the food/drinks was fantastic
We didnt realize it was opem-mic night. It was still fun and interesting but we had planned a family conversation so a bit of a srltruggle there - but totally our fault.
Good food, great drinks and fantastic service! There’s no place like it!
Delicious and a really cool atmosphere. Maybe not the best spot the morning after going to a club, music was very loud on a Sunday morning.
Cool space. Very pricey for the neighborhood. Live music nightly. Not affiliated with the Roxy in five points, so make sure youre meeting your friends at the right Roxy.
Nice venue. Staff and food was Good. Was there for drag brunch. Had a great time
Food & service werent the greatest but the bar service was better! Thanks Heathet?
Slow, messy service. Way overpriced for extra-iced drinks and meatballs you can make at home. Dirty interior. Skip it.
Great experience; staff was awesome, small plates were absolutely delicious and entertainment was great.
Good was pretty meh and basic, nothing amazingly service was good but hoping they’ll add something to their meals. Atmosphere is a good spot for bunch.
The new owners are doing a great job so far. Good food and cocktails, good beer on tap, fun and inclusive atmosphere.
Not technically a speakeasy, but it does have some of that feel. Good selection of non-alcoholic beverages!
I like this place and miss a place that used to be but it seems like it has a great brunch menu and drinks! Really enjoyed it
Our Favorite!! Live music, cool ambiance, delicious bites & cocktails + low pretension.
Drinks were good. Food is way over priced for what you get.
Delicious drinks, accommodating servers for our ladies night! The vibe of this place is awesome!
Jazzy blues rock, killer cocktails, but most of all the entire staff was genuine and attentive.
Clean, amazing drinks, professional and attentive staff, amazing live music every night!!! Going to make it a habit to come here at least come a week
Food and service was good. Sound guy could bring down the overall volume a bit.
Love this spot! Strong drinks and friendly staff. Food is delish. Good shows too!
I love this place.. the Kombucha on tap is phenomenal! The truffle fries are crazy good and the music is always quality!!
Great atmosphere, friendly employees and yummy breakfast options. I recommend starting your “Sunday Funday” at The Roxy!
Absolutely loved the cocktails here. Very classic also loved the ambiance of the bar.
Very inclusive good acoustics, great service, good fare and I will be going back. I was there on a Tuesday evening, songwriters show.
Music and atmosphere are awesome
Good food and good entertainment. Kale salad was missing the raisins, but we are it anyway. Lovely date night.
Love this place. Ambiance is amazing. Tapis style food is great as well. Great live music.
What a great time. I just celebrated my 50th birthday there. Staff was on point. Had a fantastic time. Im going back again.
Jazz Jam , Sit In Night . Hi quality tones. Professional sound. Very Groovy Man .
Good atmosphere, food and friendly staff... went to watch a friend play music on a Friday night. A nice night
Really cool and classy speakeasy, and the ground level bar is just as good
Great DJs
Live music, Heather is a saint, great food, and amazing service.
Good atmosphere, music, and drinks. Little pricey otherwise great establishment.
I highly recommend Broadway Roxy. The owner could not be sweeter and the music they play makes for a lovely evening. Cool place, check it out
Great drinks. Amazing atmosphere. Cant wait to go back at night
It was a busy night during restaurant week, took a while to get our food. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff
