Health Club & Spa at Fairmont Pittsburgh

I feel really bad i dont remember the people at the front desk, but they were very friendly and made me feel extremely welcomed. The front desk lady showed me around and gave me my robe and slippers. She was informative and got me ready for my service. Rachel was the one doing it and she did a fantastic job with my facial breaking down the steps on what would be done, but let me relax as well only talked when it was time for the next product to be used. I was also told I was allowed to stay as long as I like to use the other amenities. Also they offered me a complimentary drink for my birthday. My experience was amazing. I highly recommend booking this if you really want to treat yourself, self care is important!

I had an amazing experience at the Health Club and Spa. When I arrived I was able to park with valley which was validated by the spa. I was greeted by the kind staff and escorted to the nail room for my pedicure and polish change on my manicure. Kya was absolutely fantastic while doing my nails! She is kind, intelligent and was able to make recommendations to me while also making my experience fun and relaxing. I asked Kya to be creative for my nails and she did not disappoint! We decided together on ‘dirty martini’ inspired nail art. Not only was she fantastic but also fast! I got a complete pedicure and manicure in 2 hours! Will definitely return in the future! The entire staff was so lovely!

Wonderful experience! Oxana & Chloe were very helpful and informative. Tia provided me with an enzyme treatment that showed immediate improvement in my skin. Also cannot go without mentioning that Jenna is a very skilled massage therapist and provided me with such a relaxing and therapeutic experience.

My day started wonderfully when I was warmly greeted by Oxana, MacKenzie, Gabby and Tia, the moment I walked in. I was offered fruit water and/or a mimosa, and other refreshments as I relaxed in the luxurious decor of the lounge area. When it was time for my pedicure, Georgeine escorted me to the pedicure chair, which massages wonderfully. Georgeine was congenial and professional, and my feet are delighted! Next up, my massage, which was wonderfully performed by Aleece. The next hour of my life was purely divine! The atmosphere, the massage, the soothing background music— it was all sheer perfection. Then, as if that wasn’t all superbly pleasing, I had one of the most amazing facials ever, by Rachel. She used, DMK products, which is the best skin care out there. It was amazing. My glowing skin still looks and feels amazing! Both Rachel and Aleece, well, they have the hands of an angel. My visit was heavenly. This spa is polished, relaxing and soothing. First class all the way. I totally recommend you check it out.

I just got my customized new facial service and it was one of the great experiences for me. Rachel was very knowledgeable and sweet. Before we started, She explained step-by-step, so there was no surprise for me during the service.All the products that she used on my face were very nice with a good smell. My skin feels so amazing and smooth now.

Georgiene is awesome. Nice that she is there and has good memory of clients! They have some new products that they are using, though, that smell like a bad Hallmark candle… not that there is a good Hallmark candle.

Came here for a treasured girls spa day! We each had a massage! The therapists - Aleece and Alexis - are amazing! Among the very best of massages each of us has ever had!!!

I go to the Fairmont spa several times a year for massages. Aleece is so great and is my regular massage therapist here! Aleece always gets the knots out of my upper back and neck area. She really listens to me and my body’s needs. I always leave feeling so refreshed after my massage, visit to the steam room and spa. If you’re in need of a relaxation go to the fairmont spa and book a massage with Aleece! You won’t regret it!

I had a great time at the spa. It was clean and the staff member that took my reservation was patient, friendly and knew her work. I needed another spa time for a friend and I asked to be called if a time slot open up and there was the same day of my appointment and they called and told me. I was running a bit late and they called me to check up on me and they were so accommodating. The spa has food you can order, steam and sauna room you can use the time you are there for you massage, facial etc.I want to go back again when I am in Pittsburgh, PA.

The entire staff at the spa was so incredible and catered to our every need! Chris is such a wonderful asset to this facility and made the 60th birthday celebration for my mother one to remember. Thank you to the entire staff for a great experience!

I’ve been coming to the spa for years. It has dramatically improved over the past year. There is more attention to detail, and it is a luxury that I do not mind paying for. Cassandra is amazing and provides massage therapy that a second to none.

The Spa at the Fairmont was an incredible experience for me. First, because I came on a Thursday, I had a celebrity like experience where I valet my car for FREE as the spa validates valet parking weekdays (except for Fridays). The minute the elevators opened on the 3rd floor I felt relief. You are immediately greeted with relaxing music and relaxing scent and then by the friendliest front desk staff. Tia and Chloe were so kind to me and went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. Oxana who provided me with the best recommendations for treatments (the Signature Pedicure) together with Tia and Chloe gave me a special birthday non-alcoholic toast with chocolates and Chloe even helped me with the curling iron at the end of my stay, while Tia suggested if I do the steam room to try a cold shower in between. Rhyan, the amazing massage therapist, gave me an Expectant Mother massage and made sure to do it safely yet with the perfect amount of pressure. The massage was so good and I enjoyed it so much, that it felt a bit short. A recommendation I have for the Fairmont spa is to include an expectant mother bladder break into the massage time to make sure any potty breaks don’t take away from the massage time, but that was on me, not Rhyan. I almost forgot to mention the amazing smash burger I had with a refreshing arugula apple salad and crispy thin French fries, omg I will be craving this for the rest of my pregnancy. Once I was done with the massage, I got to the salon where Mackenzie gave me the signature pedicure with a paraffin treatment, omg my legs never felt this smooth. She went above and beyond to make me feel warm and cozy with a soft blanket, the massaging chair, fruit infused water, the perfect temperature bath and her expert knowledge about cosmetics and other topics made for a great conversation. I spent all day at the spa and truly left feeling relaxed and happy. I recommend the Fairmont Spa as a mommy care day for any mother or expectant mother out there, you deserve it and at this spa they remind you that you deserve it and make you feel like a queen!

My massage was good, the gym is nice. I think for the price point, the treatment area could look nicer. It’s a little awkward to be walking about in a robe, when other people are in the workout area. More of a separation between the spa area and gym would be better

Aleece was did Ana amZing job with my first ever expectant mother massage. She was very personable and careful and made me feel so relaxed. It’s a beautiful hotel and spa, with showers, lockers, saunas and more !I went again a year later and still amazing !!

5/5 would recommend the Fairmont spa for a massage. My husband and I got a couples massage (muscle melt) and it was a super deep tissue massage (love!). Auxanna (sorry about the spelling!) at the front desk is lovely and Cassandra gives an amazing massage. The atmosphere is lovely and beautiful, and the locker rooms are clean and pretty. They include a steam room and a dry sauna. We will definitely come back again.

I had a great experience at the Fairmont Spa. The atmosphere is soothing and you have a great view of downtown Pburgh. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. My deep tissue massage was AMAZING! Then it followed wil a relaxing facial. It was overall such a great experience! I need to find what products the use because they were awesome! Definitely making more appointments.

If you want to feel like royalty without paying royalty prices, this is the place for you! The rooms, gym, bathrooms, and common spaces were spotless. The service providers are knowledgeable, and the manager, Mackenzie, was accommodating, patient, and passionate. I’ve had both facials and massages here and I can’t wait to go back. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I happen to love going from spa, to spa in different areas/cities in PA. This was by far one of the most relaxing, beautiful, and blissful experiences i’ve had. making my top two favorite spa/health centers i’ve had appointments at. Every employee was extremely welcoming, sweet, and extremely professional. Gabi at the front desk had the most welcoming warm personality, was soo sweet and so professional with my partner and I. Also Miss Oxana, whom we saw just passing in the hall. She stopped what she was on her way to do made sure to grab us both a refill on our mimosas and see to it that we made it to our massage appointments on time. And don’t get me started on the couples massage!!!! it was incredible. both technicians Rhyan, and Aleece were very skilled, and provided us with 90 minutes of what had to be the best massage i’ve ever had. I fell asleep, twice. Now I know that probably sounds like a lot of people to meet face to face when you’re going somewhere to relax and take maybe a moment alone for a change. but the amount of privacy that my partner and I had was also absolutely incredible! We loved the experience and the atmosphere so much that we will definitely be back time and time again thanks to the amazing staff.

This was my first time at any sort of spa experience. I had a 60 minute massage by Aleese and a 60 minute facial with Briana! I had the best experience and the price was so reasonable. I arrived a bit early and Oksana at the front desk made me comfortable in the meantime with drinks and fruit. I even accidentally left my necklace in the robe pocket and didn’t notice until a few hours after leaving, I called and not even 2 mins later the front desk woman (Tia) looked and found it! Such a lovely place with very helpful staff.

Alexis was amazing, I would definitely recommend coming here for a massage or any of the other services they provide!

This is the best spa in Pittsburgh. Cassandra was my massage therapist and she did an amazing job.

I booked a 60 minute Swedish massage. There was an intersection where all the lights were out on bigelow blvd causing me to be a little late. The spa called me and I advised them of the scenario and they stated “it’s ok it happens, but you won’t have much time for a massage”. I get there and valet so I could hurry up and get to the spa. The elevators were broken and it took me at least 10 more minutes to get to the 3rd floor. They showed me where to change and when I got to the room to start my massage the massage girl said “well we don’t have much time so it would be best to just focus on some areas.” I did ask for strong pressure but she stated the Swedish massage is only light to medium pressure. Then when I valeted for maybe 45 minutes, it was $29. I still had to pay the full price for the massage as well. It was an absolute terrible experience and I would not recommend going there or using the spa services at all.The Fairmount reached out to me and was able to reschedule a massage that was exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased with the response and would definitely go back!

I went here for my friends bachelorette weekend and was blow away by the amazing customer service we received from everyone on staff! They were so friendly and attentive. The facilities are beautiful; there is a wonderful view of the city in the lounge area, and everything was crisp and clean! We really enjoyed the sauna and steam room, too, in addition to our massages and nail services. Thank you very much!

Hey all. My daughter treated me to a facial, mani and pedi at the Fairmont today! What a gorgeous spa and hotel! The staff is friendly and caring. The service is exquisite! Serenity. Sooo much serenity! They have an awesome gym and sauna too, along with amazing massage therapists. You have got to check this place out!

I recently had a ‘bachelorette day’ here and it was easily one of the best decisions I’ve made in my wedding planning process. My bridesmaids and I got pedicures and massages over the course of the day. Not only were the facilities beautiful and overlooking downtown, but they were also extremely clean. The staff were absolutely fantastic! Everyone answered our questions and toured us around the entire spa. My massage therapist Jessica was outstanding, as was my nail technician Georgeine! We also got access to the sauna! Can’t recommend coming here enough! I will absolutely be back in the future!

You can expect a certain level of amenities when visiting a Fairmont but this particular location is far above any I have visited. Not every place makes you feel like you are the only guest there but this location exceeds that every time. Noah, Tia, Ryan and MacKenzie embody the values of Fairmont and truly make this location what it is. I dont know how they recruited these truly wonderful people but they are such a huge asset to this property it simply would not be the same without their energy and presence.

Truly the best Swedish massage I’ve ever had, and the facilities were sparkling clean and relaxing. I will absolutely make an effort to return for massages as often as possible. If you’re staying in downtown Pittsburgh, or if you live in the area and want to treat yourself, I would highly recommend!

It was ok. Cucumber water provided. No food or other snacks even available for purchase. (OJ, fruit etc) steam room was out of order even though when I called to book our treatments I specifically requested it. Sauna was nice. Only holds 4 adults comfortably. (A 5th lady politely waited until one of us exited) Very clean facility. Massage was just ok for me. Room to relax in is right off of the reception area where they are answering phones. No hot tubs or relaxation tubs at this spa. They do have showers and lockers.

Visited the spa for my 50th birthday. The massage by Ryan was amazing! Georgian the manicurist, did a great job on my mani-pedi, however her customer service pleasantries lacked. The amenities were clean and enjoyable! I will definitely return. The 4 stars are a result of an isolated snafu I experienced; Georgians lack luster attitude; and Ryans lack of hygiene freshness. Otherwise, great experience and loved the complimentary valet parking!

I had been in contact with the supervisor and exchanged several emails about booking services for a bachelorette spa day. I had emailed back with the appointments I wanted to book and then was in contact about booking an area for the bride and girls to spend the day in. I had even been in contact about getting food and drinks. We arrived the day of our reservations only to find out they were never put into the system. The one gentlemen had stated that his manager told him about the lounge area being reserved for us, but when he went to find our appointments for the spa they were no where to be found. I was then directed to talk to the supervisor where he stated I never told him what I wanted, but I was able to show him the email where I did in fact state which appointments we wanted booked. He then proceeded to state he was sick and they never got booked. No appointments were available for us that day, and my best friends bachelorette spa day was ruined .

AMAZING spa! Wonderful staff, great amenities (and price tag to match!) but worth every penny. A definite self-care standout. The Fitness Center is also noteworthy. New equipment and nice layout.
