I took a day off work to do a little exploring. I’ve been wanting to visit 100 Men Hall in Bay St. Louis and it was well worth the drive. To see the musicians that graced this place is a rewarding experience. I can only imagine it in its heyday. Just visiting it now was almost spiritual. So glad I made the drive from New Orleans.
Birthday celebration drag taco night! Was amazing. The Hall was the perfect mix of space and intimacy!
Well, what an amazing place! Im so glad that my friends invited me to an outdoor gig the other night. Incredible soundsystem, good food, great selection of drinks, and even cigars, baby! :)Rachel is so lovely - her love of the Hall is uplifting. Its a joy to see someone take delight in creating a community space. The history of the 100 Men Hall is deep - you can really feel it, both inside and outside. I will definitely visit again soon.
This place has an amazing vibe!I recommend 100 Men Hall if you prefer to skip the touristy stuff and get to the heart and soul of the city. You’ll be glad you went if you’re interested in local history, excellent music, or amazing food. This is where the cool kids (BB King, Etta James, Ray Charles, etc.) hung out before they were cool— and it seems like this is where the hip / trendy crowd hangs out now.
Awesome live music in a place that has had some of the greatest artists of our time. History again being written in history. It just feels like the place to be.
This place is awesome. Its a great venue and they have wonderful events and music. If you can, be sure to go here and enjoy a historical part of Mississippi that will leave you wanting more.
All reserved seat sold. Only non reserved tickets available. Event only had reserved seats for 100 people. There were over 100 people standing in an open area in the middle of the the single room. There were chairs in the storage room but the event lady would not allow chairs to be used.I took pictures of the over crowding, unair-condition room. Were was the Fire Marshall? Oh he doesnt work weekends
I love this place!!! Come as you are, have a drink, listen to great music and dance!!!!
I havent been here in a few years but I have to say say this place stays heavy on my mind. My wife and I swung through one night for open mic and the vibes here uncomparable to any other place like this! On top of that you cant beat the history here. Absoltuely Fantastic job restoring the building and creating something magical.
This venue is a definite must on anyones list! Its like visiting a time capsule! Rich and full of history not to mention the spectacular events that take place here! Do yourselves a favor, gooooooo!

Hi Rachel, I wish we had time to speak to you when we stopped by to take pictures on yesterday, my mom and her sister was so thrilled to see the hall , my mom and her sibling’s lived in the house in the back and also cleaned the hall after the shows and dances .
Fantastic historical venue hosting many outstanding events...Thursday nights Lava Lounge Happy Hour so much fun with fantastic music and a great crowd of people...
Rachel continues to build community make big magic with all that she does at the Hall. The impact she has had in this town in the short time she has been here is tremendous and we are truly grateful. A million thanks for allllllll that you do. You can count on Top rate music, food, drinks and staff and a damn good time.
Remarkable experience. It was closed but the owner lives on premise and came out to give us a tour and even showed us a documentary about the restoration after Katrina. Check out Facebook for events. We will be back.
Great visit!! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There was an overall history that could be easily accessed. In addition, there was an overwhelming acceptance if everyone who entered this establishment. I recommend everyone visit this historic place!
Cool place, great history, certifiably crazy owners... they are vulgar, rude, and falsely advertise rental space services. They appear friendly and accommodating at first and then switch to annoyed, incompetent, and overwhelmed the next. Hold your event somewhere else...unless you want an overly hot venue, operated by grotesquely unhappy people, in which the owners behavior borders on harassment and instigation.
Nice historical landmark in Bat St Louis. They have many events. Check out their Facebook page. I attended a writers conference.
Rented the hall for my wife and my shared birthday. Excellent experience from planning stage to actual event. Rachel is a next level special person. The Hall and her were meant to be together.

Great venue for a intimate wedding reception. A food truck was hired for eats . Atmosphere was inviting.
Part of the Chitlin Circuit. Black musicians played there. Saw a great act. Part of US history
I went for the first time and I learned so much about the history. A wonderful place and good environment. I would recommend people to visit.
Didnt get to go in. But I like the layout and the general feel of the place

Incredible History!
Great experience.
An essential place to discover the history of blues and music from the southern United States. I went there for the first open mic and I had an unforgettable evening there. A place steeped in history, filled with adorable and committed people.
I didnt see information about activities or information, you just see an old closed house.
