Staff is friendly and laid back. This could be a jem, with little effort. More aggressive Instagram presence. Should be several posts s night showing whos working. Answer the phone! We need to know your open before driving! Change voicemail.. clean it up, list hours and days open. Toilet paper 🗞️ in the mens room is not optional!. .. should always have a dj, pushing drinks and dances! Liquor bottles should be on display not hidden ... See any episode of bar rescue!

The tennyson is quite the experience! The woman come in a wide variety. Love Sasha she’s great on stage! Dallas is very fun too.

So I want to start with the steak... The best in town. Its the main reason Ive been taking the family there every Tuesday for the past 3 years (doesnt hurt that kids eat free Tuesdays👍). But since they have updated the menu we have started coming at least twice a week. Tuesdays are still for steaks but the Thursday seafood extravaganza is to die for. I recommend the clams casino to start, cant go wrong with the all you can oyster bar, and of my personal favorite is the sea bass... If ur looking for a great night out look no furtherP.S. the owner has big jokes about not having the best steaks in town... Love him and his sense of humor

Admittedly, the Tennyson doesnt look like much from the outside. Dont be fooled, though, for this place is 5 stars inside all day long.While the Tennyson is well-known for its steaks, the rest of the menu shouldnt be overlooked. My family and I have been there several times now and have sampled the burgers, salads, and even the grilled salmon. All were delightful. Combine that with the festive but not over the top atmosphere and this place is as close to a must see stop in the South Hills as one can be.

I wish it opened earlier but I get the 8PM time for a modern steakhouse. They do something special for your birthday so bring the whole family!

Well, I’ve been holding back as long as I could…I finally had the steak. There are not enough words in the English language to describe what I experienced (the steak), so I’ll switch to my native tongue: delicioso, Rico, y sabroso. YUMM YUMMY YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!This Steak is truly one of a kind. My family and I absolutely famished from our long journey thought all hope was lost. Then we feasted our eyes on the Tennyson Steak. We nearly leaped out of our seats into this lovely family steak house I recommend everyone to go and try their steak. You will go from feeling like a peasant to dining like a king in seconds!

Nice thick steaks, definitely worth the trip

Ended up visiting family on this side of the state, my buddies told me this place had the best steaks in town & boy, were they not kidding. Juicy, tender, fresh, straight from the farm. the greatest meat out there. Highly recommend.

I just love there daily specials. I think Wednesday is $1 chipped ham bbq night.

After reading all these reviews, I had to stop and see for myself. I am happy to report back that I was NOT disappointed. The service was extraordinary from the get-go… The waitress had me and my Grandma in stitches! We were having a great time with good drinks and good company, and then came the steak… This is the moment where our great time turned into an extraordinary event. I didn’t just love this steak…. I had an experience with it. Tender, Juicy, perfectly cooked. All the major touch points were hit and then some. Tennyson made a huge statement with this steak, not only to me and my Grandma, but they sent a message to all of Pittsburgh. They are throwing their hat in the ring for the best damn steak in the city. Bravo, TennyThe cheesecake was great too.

So Im a single father and me and my lovely daughter were looking for a new place to go out for our weekly dinner. After seeing the great reviews of the Tennyson, we gave it a try. Wow! The servers made my little girl laugh with all their kindness and lovely smiles, as well as gave us the best dinner we have had in quite some time as Im not the best cook in town haha! Would recommend highly. My daughter loved it and the steaks were so juicy and tender. Will be back!

The only reason im rating this with one star is because i dont have the option to use none.. DO NOT work there.. they told me to keep the money bag on stage with me so it doesn’t get stolen and then my money bag got stolen off the stage when i turned my bsck to preform and when i asked them to check the cameras they said that they dont reach that far so be careful!

If you ever want to have the best darn good steak you have ever seen, come to this restaurant . I brought my two 4 year old twins and my wife. They Got us a table right away and they even have kid menus! If your family ever needs a good place to eat go here!!!

In all my years, I have never had a better steak. It was so tender and juicy. The service was extraordinary too. Every waitress was there for assistance. I would give this place a 6/5 stars if I could. Highly recommend checking it out.

Had the best steak at the Tennyson Lodge!!! The warm pink middles were extra juicy with a surprise gristle!!!! My youngest (Junior) had a great time in the ball pit and the staff even accommodated us with a champagne basket for our 14 month old!!! But seriously, those steaks...................

Best steak ive ever had.

Was on a field trip to see the South Park Buffalo w/ my sons third-grade class and one of the students yelled, I want steak! Was hesitant, but on a hunch, we stopped at the Tennyson Lodge. The steak was juicy and tender and best of all: Kids eat free on Tuesdays. Would definitely return with the whole family!

Dont let the outside fool you! While the inside isnt the biggest or the nicest the people inside are very nice and friendly. Went to Bare-aoke(karaoke and they dance to your songs, ladies can come to the club with no issues) on Friday for my first ever strip club experience. Was supposed to be a bachelor party but the groom bailed out and I went alone. All the ladies were very friendly and interactive. Sat outside and had conversations with 2 of them on a personal level. Got hugs and real names of the 2 I talked to. The owner was also very friendly and talked to me outside for a good 10 mins. Asked my name and shook my hands and thanked me for being polite and nice to the ladies. $10 door charge, full bar with good drink selection. $20 for private dances. 5 performers were there the night I was there. All we very personal and attractive. Will go again if ever in the area!!

I am not a dramatic gentleman in the slightest but I would miss the birth of my first born child to indulge into a Tennyson steak. If you want the most incredible food experience of your life. Dive head first into one of their lucious steaks. I would give up time,wealth, & health for just one bite. God gave us Jesus than he gave us Tennyson steaks. Would recommend for all family or friend occasions.

Best steaks in town! The service is 10/10. Very family oriented. I highly reccommend taking your family here for a nice dinner. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Best flank steak in Pittsburgh! I always call ahead to make sure they have a table if we are bringing the little ones.

Who would’ve thought? Hidden in the southern burbs of PA, an excellent steakhouse with economical pricing. Took the wife and kids here and there was entertainment from wall to wall. You couldn’t find a wall without a TV on it. My son is really into gymnastics, so we asked the host if she could change the channel and she did. Make sure you get the 8” filet mignon, rare. Perfect amount of red and pink. You won’t regret this.

Girls are great cover is affordable. Bartender is some hobbit looking dude who can’t pry himself away from watching wrestling to help a customer. He’s a rude to the dancers.

I walked in not expecting too much, but after seeing how much my son and daughter enjoyed their time, I will be going back. It is very family oriented place with great staff and the steak is a MUST try.

I went on a Wednesday- mainly for baraoke but its now Friday only (previously Wednesday too). but i watched all the dancers that were there that night. its a dive bar setting and looks wise some dancers were so-so but most more than made up for it with their dancing skills. enjoyed my private dance too

Good tip on trying a steak next time I visit since the clams werent very fresh the last time I was there.

Fun times Super Duper Atmosphere!

They slapped the piece of meat on my plate and I said “Wowee!”! Never seen such a nice piece of beef! Besides the steak the mashed potatoes also made me say “My Lordy! These potatoes are from another world!” Loved the meat, loved the tates. Will return soon.

Seriously tender steaks! We love coming to this joint for a great meal and better service. This is the best kept secret in the South Hills.

Not a great place. Most of the girls are average or below average but young except one lady. Only one girl seemed better. I just went there on Saturday. $5/- cover charge, drinks are cheap.

Invited me in as I asked for directions to my hotel and informed me of a 2 drink minimum. Saw one half attractive girl, went to get one more drink to make the best of a bad situation and nope.... Wouldnt serve , would let me hang out , spend money , get in my car and drive. However I looked intoxicated to the bartender after my second drunk but girls still looked bad, hmmm.. Good thing they had no problem with someone too drunk to drive home.... Can only imagine that lawsuit if something had gone wrong. My 1 * suggestion, buy beer and watch a movie

Covid-19 friendly! When the dancer had to wear a mask, it was time to take walk outside. Very very beautiful young girl with long black hair, hypnotized me into taking all my twenties and changing into ones than I gave her my all absolutely no cameras! So heres a selfie. Good times

The bar was small n overpriced...uh da womens restroom is were da strippers all share wit da public a one stall bathroom wit lil sink n mirror get dis da toilet didnt even have a door n lock lmao it had a shower curtain...uh its completely unacceptable ladies u can do better!
