Been living in the area for years and have popped in and out. This place is reliable for mostly everything you need and never had an issue also awesome staff.

Fantastic!! Staff well informed and able to answer even the most ridiculous Karen-type questions, while also remaining patient. Tons of fancy treasures to choose from. Store climate control also on point, I hate getting hot when I’m shopping or being too cold either. Go there, wherever you going now isn’t as fabu. Edit: The Big Props to CannaConnoisseur Daniel who serviced my visit and made sure I didn’t leave without my glasses I forgot on his counter. Bc I thought they were on my head. 🏆👓🥸🤓🧐🍷🥛

Holy smokes in Elizabeth,NJ is a interesting place. During COVID-19 they are taking orders and having you pick up, or in some instances letting 2 people in the store at a time. I think the products are awesome. The hemp lotion was so healing and helped alleviate some pain. The prices can range from mid to high. I think the products are expensive. I do have some that is my favorite. The store is pretty clean. They have a lot of people working at the front end of the store. Matt is helpful a older guy who is well versed in all the products they carry. I love visiting this place. Try their products out get the full experience.

Been going here since last year. They are a whole vibe. They always got something new. I just tried their new product last night and let me tell you, the soda infused with weed is really good. Please read the instructions if you new to this. Also, their ice cream is blissful heaven.They even have their own vape pen now, their own brand that is. Please stop by this store. Stopped in your establishment to by charcoal and it is way over priced. The only reason. Why I purchased it was because of the convenience of being in that area, I paid $3.20 with tax compared to the $1.75 I pay at my normal place which I will be going to from now on. I guess thats what I get for it being convenient....

Everytime I come into this store its great vibes! I come at different times and every single time its fun warm informing. Its pet friendly! They gave my 70 pound pitbull a doggie treat in the summer. If you’re looking for the best, youve come to the right place. Best smoke shop experience I’ve ever had! I was greeted as soon as I stepped through the door and immediately treated like a friend. Every member of staff that I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain the different products, their effects, etc. The team’s passion is palpable and they seem to know the products inside and out. Not only that, but when I explained that this was my first time buying a vape for myself (even though I’ve used them before), Alejandro in particular took the time to set my new purchase up for me and gave me a quick but really detailed tutorial. There’s a really inclusive and diverse vibe in this place that feels almost like a kickback with friends rather than one of those stores where no one makes eyes contact because they don’t want to be bothered. I wasn’t afraid to ask questions or seem inexperienced because everyone was happy to explain and really patient. The products are great for the price and extremely potent (Alejandro and I discussed my tolerance before my purchase so that he could recommend the best things for me). I’ll never go anywhere else. This place lives up to the name and then some: Holy Smokes, what an experience!

Been to Holy Smokes several times, but this past visit in August 2020 was the absolute best.The staff is always friendly and helpful.Shuntanee was excellent. very patient while I explained all my allergy problems and insightful with all their products, was able to find something for all my needs.Matt is always amazing and the cherry on top to my experience. Suggesting the CBD Living Freeze Roll On that not only helps me sooth my hives but also some muscles pain.Highly HIGHLY recommend this business.

This shop is great. Lots of variety and very nice staff that answer any questions you have! I would give 5 stars but I went recently and I noticed that masks are not enforced, clients come in and either take them off or just dont wear one. Considering the pandemic it would be nice to see them enforce it since there is a lot of foot traffic. It says they require masks under their hours of operation. other than that, great shop.

I was a first time customer of Holy Smokes in Elizabeth, NJ on Elmora Ave and was kind of nervous about getting anything of a herbal nature to deal with chronic pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia and pain pills arent an option. Because I didnt know what to expect, I called ahead and asked if there was anything they had that would help me?, Yes we do!! When I walked in, I was blown away by their inventory and how welcoming the staff was, especially Jay. I explained why I was there and what I needed and the desired effects and without hesitation, Jay suggested that I tried Kratom powder, and this showed me how knowledgeable he was about the products they sell. And it wasnt about a sell because it was suggested to go with the smallest quantity they had and It was suggested that I wash it down with something that is citrus like orange juice to mask the taste of the powder but other options were given to me also. So I decided to buy sugar free lemonade and I mixed it with a teaspoon of Kratom powder and I was truly amazed at how fast it worked. It tastes like bitter lemons, something you would expect from sugar free lemonade and it worked like a charm. As soon as I was done with my drink, I could feel the pain melt away. Im someone who deals with chronic pain 95% of the time and most days a walk to the kitchen has me bent over writhing in pain. This stuff WORKS, and it doesnt get me high or nauseous but rather Im relaxed and am virtually pain free. Thanks guys, you have a customer for life!!

I have been buying in this store for about two years. Last time I purchase a vapor but the battery did not last one hour right of the box. I try to troubleshoot the device before any complaining. After verified the issue I call the store, and I ended up talking to Matt (always helpful). He gave me options to move forward and make feel helped and satisfied with my product. Listening to google reviews I drove 25 mins and passed quite a few smoke nearby shops just to shop at Holy Smokes and I’m happy I did. I’m quite the newbie but the staff especially Matt, was welcoming, asked me what I was looking for, totally didn’t try to up sell me and was quite knowledgeable about the vast array they carry. Everything was amazing, competitively priced and I didn’t feel rushed or anything since the staff took time to explain to me. Also, I made sure to sign up for their rewards programs. Do yourself a favor, shop here for you smoke needs and you won’t be disappointed!

Staff is ALWAYS friendly!! Not just one or to specific people but everyone has been super nice and helpful. Staff is VERY knowledgeable on all their products. I don’t normally leave reviews but management is doing something right for all their employees to be as happy as they are to help you!

Great selection, and all. However, they sell potentially defective items without disclosing that. And then curve you for a refund with a bogus excuse. Make sure you test anything there, and ask what is protocol if the item becomes defective after you leave the store. I’ve been beat for 60 dollars by these guys now, and they take no responsibility for selling defective products.
