We love the Karaoke DJ, we been following himFor years. This is not against him. I used to bring my co workers for karaoke. They have the 14 dollar rail deal the 20 the 30 for top shelf liquor. But just so you know. If you’re only looking to pay for one of those 3 deals this place won’t welcome you. They push you to spend more money and if you refuse they will let you know! I was force to pay for a drink separately when ITold the bartender that I wanted the 20 dollar dealHe charged me for the drink then he told me that he couldn’t void the beer that he made a mistake. That I had to start over and pay 26 dollars for a 20 dollar deal. 6 dollar for the beer that should’ve been included in my 20 dollar deal.So I got the message that if I’mOnly coming to get any of their deals and not spend any more money I’m not welcome in this place. We’ll you succeed. I’m not coming back to this place ever again.

I have been to this venue a few times now and have always had a great time. The music is amazing and it has a fun atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and make great drinks that are reasonably priced for downtown. This is a very unique venue that I will definitely seeing more of in the future. It is worth checking out if you havent been already for a night of nonstop dancing and fun with friends.

Had so much fun this past Friday night!! The music was bumping some sick house music. Everyone was laughing and having a good time. Plenty of room to dance or just grab a seat at the bar to chill. I’m definitely coming back for more. This venue is incredible.Three floors of fun to start your weekend right! :)

Drinks are unfortunately priced normally, but the staff and clientele make this worth stopping by. Immediately friendly and inclusive to a pair of strangers from out of town. :)Lots of bonus points for being one of the few places with music I actively enjoyed - that being house style with artists such as Seven Lions, Illenium, Ellie Goulding, etc.

Subs are powerful but the speakers are not very good. Thats great if youre going to have gender neutral bathrooms but you should have stalls! Should not walk into a gender neutral bathroom and have a bunch of peoples backs at urinals be the first thing you see when you walk in. Duh. Doors. On. Stalls. They were charging for tap water which is trashy.

Went there last night around 11. It was dead. More staff than people. No one on the dance floor which is sad because the DJ actually sounded good. Charged a $10 cover that wasnt mentioned on the website. Drinks werent cheap either. Its disappointing because I used to enjoy la cage.

I gave this place 4 stars because they really are trying. It was Halloween and my first time coming here since it morphed from that God forsaken place La cage. I was first met by a rather, muscular? but attractive guy with a beard who said 50 dollar cover I thought, was he joking? must have been. I gave him the your joke failed smile and walked in. I then saw a patron who had a body of a God even in his costume!! he started a conversation with me, only to find out that he was there with his girlfriend (damn), there were a lot of Im here with my girlfriend guys there which made me wonder if this was still one of our bars. I actually started looking for a rainbow flag. Then I saw Jj!! Jj is one of those staple bartenders that everyone knows and with good reason. Hes always attentive, quick with a proper drink, and isnt to busy to care about how your evening is going...not to mention adorable. I took my drink and walked around, very nice remodeling, but confusing to a new comer as to where to go. The dance floor is actually a large enough space to werk it out properly, props given. It wasnt as crowded as I expected for as nice a place it was, but then I went upstairs. A very well attended show was in session!! Props given for having an adequate space for a lost artform in our community. The performers were sober, well practiced, and stomped for their tips. I rather enjoyed myself, except for the occasional spotlight in the face, but whats to be expected when a performer works the audience. Will I go back to LVL? hell yeah! Id love to see it on a action packed night. My next adventure is to check out the food, a good ideal for date night with the hubby. Give this place a chance, it is well worth our attention.

Worst operated business Ive ever seen. They try to make you pay cover at the door but choose VIPs for free entry when they feel like. Then the charge an additional cover to go upstairs to see the drag show, which takes away from the queens. The drag show (after you pay) is great but the staff sucks

I absolutely love this nightclub. Ever since I started coming here (mid-june 17) the staff has always made me feel like Im at home. From the stories Ive heard, the last owners ran this once great Nightclub into the ground. After a decade long hiatus, George and Corey bought back La Cage and are breathing new life into it. Theyve already completely renovated the lower floor, it is spectacular! Ive been to many nightclubs in my life, Ive even been to the named # 1 nightclub in the United States (Echostage in WA D.C.) and SoundBar in Chicago which is known around the world for being one of the best. But out of all those nightclubs, I still love LVL (Formally known as La Cage) the most. LVL has something for everyone, they have a pool table, darts, food service, a dance floor, DJs, drag shows on the weekends, plenty of seating areas. In my opinion the best thing about LVL, is the owners and staff. They make LVL feel like you belong, and that you are welcome, like you are at home. Thats why I go to LVL almost every weekend, because I feel like I am at home, having drinks with family. My only complaint is the low patronage, I think the last owners tarnished the La Cage name and pushed away all the potential clientele, hence the re branding and name change to LVL Dance. Once this club gets back to its full potential, it can and will be THE spot to be on the weekends in Milwaukee. If you havent yet been to LVL, please at least come out a couple times and give it the chance it deserves. A nightclub is only as good as the patrons, and I think Milwaukee can make LVL (La Cage) great again!

Had the French Fries w/ sour cream dip and the Mozzarella Sticks. Both items were hot and fresh. The cheese in the Mozz sticks had so much pull, it was neverending. The wrapper on them was so crispy and not greasy. Very reasonably priced items.

This place has come a LONG way since I could first even get into bars when I turned 21. I just turned 30 and it’s like a complete 180 in terms of the vibe & the music. Being big into the EDM scene, I appreciate a gay bar/club in the area that provides that🌈🙏🏻
