Dome Nightclub

I want to share my experience with this venue. Eventbrite doesn’t seem to matter here, and if you’re not buying a section, you might end up with nowhere to go in the main area. Also, there’s no dance floor. The place feels designed for people to buy sections and show off their bottles rather than enjoying the night. This was the worst experience Ive had in Houston.

If you are in the mood to be over taxed and over looked this is the place for you. Calling it a tourist trap is generous, when disgusting and sticky is far more accurate. Being told platform sandals aren’t allowed while there are multiple people in the staff wearing the equivalent of house slippers is hilarious.If you don’t have a section it’s $60 to get inIf you are out of their dress code it is $20If you want hookah it’s $40 cash onlyIf you want to have a good time….go somewhere else 💕

Don’t book in advanced matter of fact don’t book at all they will scam you out of your money n give the spot to someone who pays more and won’t even tell you . And still make you pay for the original spot. Tried talking to them n just dismissed us they didn’t even care spent over 1300 for pot service

Don’t get me wrong. This place is very lit and packed but if you don’t have a section, I wouldn’t suggest going. Also they have the stupidest rule that if a woman doesn’t not have heels on, she has to pay $30 more. A NO FLATS RULE THATS NOT POSTED ANYWHERE. We were a pack of nine women and we were charged $60 each. On what planet do you think that’s OK? Stop overcharging.

My girls and I were visiting Houston from Chi Town for the weekend. We heard all about DOME and definitely wanted to go. Reserving a section was pretty easy, I was able to text someone at the club and cashapp them the money, it was LIT inside. Packed and so much fun. Thanks for showing us a good time!

Lol, I’m in this place as I type this. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We booked with a bottle girl and we chose the $600 section and then she told us they were sold out, we said cool we’ll take the $1000 section. We booked and paid the $300 reservation fee. They ended up putting us in the $600 section and we still paid $1300, because the section we booked supposedly got bumped to a $3000 spending limit) we said cool and made the best of it. Mind you the reason was “because it’s memorial weekend) in which the bottle girl and I had already discussed it. Money is never the issue but let’s be real we could spend $3000 on a trip to Cabo like we originally planned but my husband couldn’t due to him starting a new job. After 2 hours they told us they had to move us because “Moneybagg was coming”. HE NEVER CAME!! People come here and spend their hard earned money and it’s sad that you can’t get what you paid for. $380 for Casamigos when we go to the liquor store and buy the same bottle for $62.99 lol make it make sense!! It’s cool when you have 10+ people booking one section and going in on it but my husband paid for everything by himself so we expected to get what we paid for. I could keep going but I’m drunk and tired… SMH

Staff were really rude and talking about trying to scam us. On their event paper, it said that girls were free all night and we had the tickets for it. Yet when we showed up they told us that we had to pay $20. They tried to make it seem like it was a small typo even though it was clear that ladies were free all night. They were also making fun of us and my friend who fell and clearly got hurt.

Compared to other big cities like ATL & MIA, the money you spend here is cheap OMG!! I got a 3 bottle section for less than $1500 lol. In Atlanta and Miami 1 bottle costs that much lol. This is my new go to place to have a good time out of town.

Booked a section months ago paid $100 for a deposit just for them to move our booth somewhere else and be rude af bottle girls rude af with cellulite! -1000000/10 don’t recommend if a celebrity gone be there don’t even think about it they so rude

This place is a complete mess. They told me (20yo) i couldn’t go in bc i wasn’t 21. It used to be 18+. Then they let my friends BF in though and he’s 20 too?? Bc the security guard f’d up I got to go in which I ended up leaving not even 10 min after bc it smelled so foul. Almost like skunk and feces mixed together. Their website said it was free before 11 and we ended up paying $60 for that short period of time and my friends paid $40.The bouncer was so rude. He was too busy chasing after a girl in front of me. Asked me if I was 21 and bc I didn’t respond in half a second he said “no? Ok.”But he cant READ AN ID CORRECTLY…How many bouncers does it take to do quick math to tell someone’s age? Or maybe even look at the top of an ID where it says “under 21 until ****”Lol. Never. Ever. Again.

Had a great time celebrating my birthday girls night here. Corey took excellent care of us. Definitely book your section with him.

This is a terrible place especially not LBGTQ friendly they charged my friend an extra 20$ because she didn’t have on heels although she was masc presenting. I would Not go to this place ever. Food trash Dj trash and the customer service was under the bar.

I went to Dome nightclub, formerly Spire, on the Friday of Valentines Day weekend. I arrived around 11:30 pm, and I paid a 40.00 cover. The nightclub theme on Friday night is Bad B**ches Link Up, and they chose the correct name! There were attractive women everywhere, most local and some visiting from out of state. The lighting was dark, so if you wanted a solid photo opportunity, you had to use a photographer, which I did, and the photos cost 20.00. The DJ played a respectable set. The main room is essentially all sections with a small area in the center to stand or dance. I enjoyed myself. However, they allowed smoking, and the smoke was the worst part of my experience. The nightclub had so much smoke that the smoke in the air began to burn the back of my throat. It was not marijuana smoke, so I presume cigar smoke filled the air.The dress code consisted of anything goes. I found it funny that so many women wore dresses coupled with tennis shoes. The fellas wore predominantly ballcaps and casual clothes. I was the only man in the building dressed dapper in slacks, a vest, a dress shirt, and dress shoes.I felt safe, and security and a police officer patrolled around. I recommend Dome Nightclub, especially on a Friday night. Smoke fest aside, I would return in the future.

I had a great time out here for my bday last weekend. I think houston has pass up ATL when comes to the black party and hip hop clubs....book with cory 28-753-1498

Boring to me they charge if you have flats on your feet and the vibe is loud music but definitely not fun at all

Its alright. Just a bunch of sections, no one really moving. Was pretty bored. Also spent like 40 per person to get in which was wild to me but whatever

Scammed us & sold our section. Bouncers wouldn’t let us get a word in even after we showed proof of going through their website for booking.

I’m not sure what y’all are talking about in these reviews. This club was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life! Everybody was so nice and we had a section with a bottle and the nicest bottle girl! If you’re not ready to turn up you’re not ready for spire. I will definitely be returning on my next trip. I hope they are open!

My first time here and it was unreal! I was really skeptical at first because allOf the bad reviews but I took the chance and it was worth it best day of my life I got to meet my dj and I got the luck to hang with him back stage and this couldn’t of been possible thanks to the awesome staff member Donovan , everyone was so nice to meThank you for making my dreamCome truePs. I came with 2 friends to their after party. They dont serve alcohol at all. Which I couldnt ever understand why. There are several afterhour places where they serve alcohol so I quite didnt understand the point of being there. Anyways. I though to myself ok. Lets just try it. Maybe you dont need alcohol to have fun so I just forgot about that part until they started cleaning the place while we were dancing. They actually moved us because they were mopping the floor while the bar was open. That was around 3am. Nightclub was going to close at 5 pm. We all paid a $20usd cover to a place where they were cleaning the floor and moving us and we couldnt enjoy anything. DJ was nice enough to tell them to stop cleaning our shoes and let us dance hit they didnt care and they kept doing. What a waste of time and money. I wont ever come back and Ill tell everyone this awful experience. It was unbelievable the whole thing! If you want to pay 20usd to be treated not even normal. But extremely rude go there. Otherwise try to Stay away.

Closed for renovations, but for how long? This place turns into an after club I think but it’s like $60 a person so just a heads up. If not on the regular it’s $20 a person even if you have a section. Music is very very very versatile. It used to be the spot and hopefully it returns that away after renovations. If they don’t reopen soon I imagine their image will gutter, so don’t take this too easily.

All the way from Lufkin TX 1st time going to club Dome and let me just tell you it was lit . Most definitely coming back to vibe with yall .

This place was amazing, we had a blast! Bottle prices are reasonable & overall it was a good time. We had a group of girls and guys and getting in wasnt hard at all. Music was really good also the bottle service was excellent. There was a bunch of good looking girls as well. We will be back for sure!! All the staff & security were great! And the bottle girls made me feel like the money I dropped was worth it. I do recommend a VIP table on the first floor, it was definitely worth it !! Spire is definitely the hottest spot in Houston.

I had soo much fun it’s every race in there and they play Mexican music white ppl music and black ppl music it was very fun I’m 19 and this is the first club I been too I will definitely be going back❗️❗️

Bouncers and off duty police unprofessional will NEVER go back!! Also $40 per person is ridiculous.

Amazing experience and vibe! I went for an early birthday celebration. We got there early and they let us in about 10 minutes later because they were waiting on the DJ. Showed them our tickets on Eventbrite, no issues. The crowd is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Hookah was $60 , not sure if this was regular pricing because they had a performer/guest. The women’s bathroom stayed clean. It was very packed but not claustrophobic. Only issue: be careful of where you park!Overall great experience.

Closed for Renovations,I just passed the building whatever that club is whack now bring back Drink Houston. It was a lot better. Spire if you want a good club, make better not watered fair price drinks make the cover charge fair and most importantly make it 21 and up again with concerts again not that baby club it turned into with children all 18

They took my card, after I ordered 1 single drink and not only did they try to tell me they didn’t have my card… but my card was charged over $200. $200 for one drink ? The math ain’t mathing… and it only took me causing a scene for my card to magically appear out of thin air. Do better!

Im 18 so I have no knowledge about the bar or alcohol prices or anything, but Its only $20 to get in the times i have been and instead of having to buy a table or anything like that like at other clubs the dance floor is free and really big. Only cons are that they always play the same music and theyre really weird ab the dress code, on my birthday they didn’t let my boyfriend in the club because he had a white tee on lol. Cant complain though, everytime Ive gone I had a good time. Halloween was fun too

I came into town last weekend and my friends recommend we check out spire nightclub in downtown Houston. When we first arrived, there was a line but I wasn’t waiting long at all, security and host were very fast, I probably waiting a total of 3 minutes but while I was waiting I got to see Houston’s beautiful view of downtown. Once I got in the actual club I went straight to the bar of course, I ordered me a dirty Martini and the bartender absolutely killed this drink, it tasted perfect and did the job. As time went by more people showed up and the crowd got larger so I thought it would be a good time to grab a section, it was perfect timing because a cocktail waitress was walking about and she was so polite about the whole process. I was seating no less than 5 minutes and my bottles came out super fast, not to mention the presentation was fabulous. After the night was over we weren’t ready to go home so we went to the after hours spot and it so much fun, Houston is definitely somewhere I’d come back to and while I been here spire has been one of the most fun clubs out here. I’d definitely check it out when you are down here !

Went to celebrate our friends bachelorette and what we thought would be vip was awful. People were smoking drugs around us. I asked the waitress if they allow this she said they do. I asked her to cancel our table immediately as each of us paid 150$ and I had to walk outside because the place smelled so heavy and I wanted to leave. I asked the security guards who the owners were they didn’t know. I asked the “manager “ they said they didn’t know. We didn’t get bottles because we wanted to leave due to the atmosphere and they denied giving us our money back. I would like the owner or owners to reach out asap as this was 6 of us that where affected!

Went here last night with a group of friends. We all paid 20 dollars to get in. One of our friends was a male wearing a crop top and they refused to let him in AFTER HE PAID the entry fee and then they began to call him names and ask if he was a cheer leader. So he went to the car grabbed a jacket zipped it up and they told him he still wasn’t allowed in. So we ended up leaving 2 minutes of being there. They made over 100 dollars off of us. I will be filing a complaint with better business bureau. It’s 2022 you can get a lawsuit for this kind of thing…. Just saying. We’d like a refund… but we’re told we weren’t allowed one…. Our friend should of at least been able to have gotten one because he never even stepped in our made it to the “ security “ part before entering.

Went to spire last night for my best friends bachelorette the staff was Horrible and rude to all of us. They wanted to over charge us for the entry when others were going in for free. While we were there one of our friends went into the wrong room by accident looking for the restroom and the staff kicked her out of the club. They also let girls in who were under age for an extra charge! Found two underage girls very drunk hardly able to walk we made sure they had a ride home they should not have even been aloud in. I do not recommend this place they need to be shut down asap.

Great club, all staff was extremely helpful. Even though they were just about sold out (as they typically are) I was lucky enough to get a table, and I got a really good deal for the bottles on Saturday! Love it and will definitely be coming back!

If I could give negative stars I would! We purchased tickets via eventbrite for the New Years eve party. We purchased via tickets. When we arrived we had to wait over an hour in line. The employees were EXTREMELY rude!We got to the door and the guy handing out wrist bands saw our digital tickets and told us the lady at the register would scan our tickets. The lady told us those tickets not valid, contact your bank I explained that we paid online and asked for a manager. She then grabbed a random guy and said hey youre the manager for tonight.When I asked for a number to call and speak to someone, the second lady responded with 911 is the number you can call, happy new year.THEN one of the security guards told us that we could get in if we paid $80... in addition to what we paid for VIP tickets. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Certain people got in free, some got in for $60, some got in for $80 and some for $100. I would NOT recommend this establishment to my WORST enemy! Im currently waiting for a refund!

My first time at Spire was for the Astroworld after party, I was blown away by all the lights and the sound system. As you can imagine, it was PACKED but our cocktail waitress was very attentive and so much fun! Went to the bar to order some shots for our table and all of the bartenders were so quick, attentive, and full of personality even with a crowded bar. Drink prices were a little higher than usual but it was only expected being that it’s a nightclub in downtown Houston that books big name talent. They even stay open later for ‘After Hours’ for those who still want to party. No alcohol, bummer, because I believe it’s state law but still so much fun! They even have hookah and Cajun food available til closing time. I’ve been back a few times since then and every time, it never fails we have a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

I think I would’ve had a better time at an after hours spot that at least had hookah. I’d definitely try to go during normal business hours (10p-2a) because the after hours just seemed like a mixed bag of people. Nice that it’s open until 5am, but paying $20 for 2 rooms to stand in doesn’t make sense unless you’re trying to dance off the alcohol. May go back for a celebrity host night, but not a fan as of now.

DO NOT come to this club. My group of friends and I came to this club on a Saturday night & had reserved a section, they over charged us $515!!!!!! When we asked for the receipt we received two receipts but only swiped our card once. We only ordered 3 bottles & our total was 1.3k!!!!!! On top of that there were no security guards at our section and people FELL on our table & smashed 2 bottles. Bottle service girls were no where to be found & did not serve us even though there was still an automatic 30% gratuity fee. We had to go to the bar and ask for a refill of our own chasers & new cups. I’ve been trying to contact spire about our over charge but nobody answers!!! TERRIBLE CLUB DO NOT GO. Rating deserves a 0.

I had such a great time. That I even left my wallet and phone but I can testify that I received my wallet and phone personally from one of the managers and I am very pleased with the honesty . I cannot thank you enough Louie .Bottle girls need more training for sure but I would definitely bring my friends and dance to the good music and the place is actually pretty inside. Prices are welcoming as well!! See you there..

I only recommend spire for people under 21 who can’t get in anywhere else. Walking up to the club is so unsafe. There are groups of people outside trying to scam or rob you. Literally at the front of the club. $20 cover charge, everyone is rude from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave. I stood by the bar for a solid 5 minutes(there was no one else at the bar there should have been no wait) while the two bartenders chit chatted with each other. It’s such an awkward vibe in there. Possibly because they profit from letting 18 year olds in so everyone is just standing in their little groups. There are other floors to the bar each with an additional cover charge. Steer clear of spire unless you want to pay hella money just to feel like your in a highschool homecoming dance.

Was definitely not impressed by the looks of this place from the outside. Crowed seemed very young. The guy at the door got on my nerves saying I couldnt wear my flip flops inside but if I gave him an extra $20 I could. Did not do that so I changed. Later on saw girls with flip flops and fuzzy slippers. There was no real dress code so I dont see what the big deal was. Music was just ok mostly the rap/trap only catering to the 20 something crowd. The bartender was.on point with the drinks thats the only plus.

Reading all the reviews on here after I bought my tickets to Alan Walker kinda made me regret it. After going though, I was totally wrong. I actually had a great time! What it crowded? Yes it was. But for me it wasnt that bad at all. I thought the sound system seems to be better than stereo live. They also had the AC going on full blast so you arent sweating like you are at Stereo. I knocked off a star because Alan Walker didnt come out till like 2 AM. I left around 3:30 am in the middle of his set on a Friday night cause I had work the next morning. Overall experience was great for a guy. For girls just have your guy friends make a wall for you. Also that night, 3 girls got escorted out by the bouncers in a full Nelson . I also had to help stop a fight where two girls started to push each other. All the guys were having a good time though.

The staff is incredibly rude and just trying to scam you. They overpack the place on special event nights, charge a big cover fee, and then find any small reason to kick you out. You can come back in, however you have to pay again. The last time we tried giving it another chance, it was empty with no line outside. However, they told us we needed to have bottle service or be on a guest list to come in. They then tried to sell us a table for bottle service at $750! We weren’t planning on having a crazy wild night. We just wanted good music and a couple drinks. We ended up walking away and they kept mumbling under their breaths saying we were basically cheap. I honestly hope this place looses its business especially if it keeps running like this.

Would not say this is a great spot to go at all. A group of my friends and I showed up only to be treated very poorly. For context, it was several girls and a few guys in my group. All the girls were interrograted, our IDS were tripple checked and the guys were patted down and searched. Had a cover charge of $20 only to enter to a very uncomfortable enviroment. The front staff was extremely rude as well. The person who charged our cards was also extremely rude. The bouncer grabbed my friend to look at her tattoo but was rather aggressive and extremely uncalled for - this was after we had left.Seriously, do not waste your money. A strobe light and cheap beer would be a better experience.

Great place good music, a little bit young I think if they upgrade the dress code a little bit this place can be much nicer. Like start making these women wear heels flip flops are a liability in my opinion. A better dress code brings out much higher quality...beside that its a good place...

We were there for couple hours only because we were tired. And we would stay longer if we could. Nice people, hot women, hookah bar and good music. We went on regular Friday night and had good time. Place looks nice it’s just a little small for night club but it was packed just right at that time. It isn’t small, it just could be little bit bigger so everyone can dance, but if you are willing to dance then you will find your spot.Cool place to be.

Went last weekend to celebrate my friends 21. reasonable section prices and quick service. good dj and overall great experience. crowd picks up quickly and definitely a vibe. will be returning.

Great atmosphere clean venue in Houston that has a Vegas club feel.

DONT come here on FRIDAYS unless you’re buying a section. there’s no dance floor, everything is filled by sections and they’re $300 or more. ALSO, its $40 to get in after 12. saturdays are fun though but the dance floor gets really crowded after 12.

We paid $500 min for a section, it took all night for us to get our bottles to our section. The club close at 2am. We got our drinks at 1:44am. The bottle girls kept coming over asking did we get our stuff yet. No! It was super packed inside and maybe we werent a priority. They could have offered water, free red bull, soft drinks, or free hookah.

I went last night and immediately they charged me and my friends $20 each because we wore shorts plus an additional $20 each just to get in! It was over crowded. The only thing I liked about it was the music but other than that I would rather go somewhere else to have a good time.

Spacious with a lot of seating. The outside patio with fountain is cute. Two separate rooms with different music playing, one side Urban other House. After 2 am it’s a change of ambiance and people. This is NOT an upscale location, and their dress code seems lenient. I came on saturday night. The music was tolerable until the idiotic hype man who was with the DJ that night thought it was a brilliant idea to yell “MOSH PIT ! MOSH PIT !!!!” followed by a couple of Travis Scots songs , totally inappropriate to insinuate such behavior after the recent deaths caused by Scot. The crowd was definitely thrown off by that situation. Bar tenders were great thou, nice, attentive and fast. Won’t ever return here.

It’s beyond ridiculous that you’ll will charge a person $20 to enter a club to use the restroom. I told you I would have to renter so I can go get my sister. I come back, I have to pay another $20. & the security Guard pushes me. I’ll be filing w claim with the better business bureau and the police department.

You know reading all these reviews Im kinda confused people have had these experiences. Drinks are expensive? yeah its a night club what do you expect get hammered before going in like a normal person. never had a problem with staff or parking they are always so nice and the DJs are always on point! Ive never not enjoyed a night there though, I do think its a club for people around college ages since thats the typical dynamic i see there. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Great night club its 18+ so thats a little best of a downside. Crowd gets nice, pumping, bartenders are professional and fast enough to handle big crowds, over all surprised with the environment since the outside looked s little weird! But cant judge a book by its cover!

If you are thinking of going to the Spire to see a show, just dont. I gave them two tries and both were a catastrophe. The staff is incredibly rude. They allow way too many people in and there is no room to even move. I paid an obscene amount of money for just an overall, horrible experience. This club really needs to reevaluate and get it together! The crowd was out of control. Im a raver, but a huge portion of the crowd was incredibly drunk and disorderly and no one was doing anything about it. Drinks were being thrown on the ground, people were falling off of tables and ledges they were standing on.

Someone I know manages this club and my only trip here was luckily with him. Coming here with him, I was able to get a good section, meet nice people, and have a good time. I understand some of the bad reviews, but coming to a place like this requires money, planning, or networking. You cant go without one or all of those fulfilled at least.

I was there last weekend. I was with the Chicago crowd that brought several tables. Our bottle girls were unprofessional. During the night, BG #1 came to our section and poured herself a shot of our $500 bottle. It happened so fast, I couldn’t stop her. BG #2 comes and grabs the bottle. I told her she couldn’t have a shot. If she wanted a drink, she could have a shot from the other bottle since there was only 2 of us drinking it. She declined. BG #1 picked up the bottle and said “I’ll do it”. I told her no. She said “Why”. I was too stunned to speak. You don’t grab someone’s bottle and help yourself. I wouldn’t care if I paid $50 for it, how dare you!!! I’m guessing this is what they do, but it is unacceptable. I would add her photo but I don’t want to get her fired. They all should be counseled on this!!

This was such a fun club when I went before renovations ! Is it still 18+ ?!

This place is full of kids who are sloppy drinkers. A bar back got upset cause my husband didn’t move fast enough so he made a complaint they kicked us out! The officer was inappropriate aggressive and using his badge as power! The only positive about this place is our waitress Rachael she served awesome drinks had great personality!

Enjoyed the sound system but that’s were the fun ended. We came here to see kaskade, and I had a bad feeling about it as we got in and saw how small the venue was (for a show like kaskade), and how much room was taken up by bottle service booths. I figured since they charged 80 dollars a head, they didn’t oversell the show. Boy was I wrong. Expect to be treated like utter garbage if you are not VIP/bottle service. If you are in the way, expect to be shoved by the bouncers to make room for a train of bottle service girls with sparklers shooting flames out of the bottles.

Really fun club & has a good environment! Bottle girls are quick on their feet and make sure each table is treated the best! Bartenders are very quick as well and the drinks are good.

Dj is not good at all!!! He plays the same tracks over and over again. they stop serving drinks at 2am but stay open...FOR WHAT?!.... Hookah’s are $50 which is way to much. 2 Waters cost $15!! That’s robbery!!! Won’t ever come back.

Credit card fraud. Place charged my buddy over 500$ for a few drinks. Then after talking to one of the bartenders they said they would refund the money but never did. My buddy got charged 30$ Multiple times, and then it went up to 100$ and then 150$. Totaled out to like 10+ charges equaling over 500$. And he only bought a few drinks. Looked like someone did the cash app method on him. DO NOTCOME HERE.

Ive given this place 3 attempts at redeeming themselves, however, this is the final straw. Front end personnel are very rude and I have seen bouncers on every occasion beating up someone outside even though they have already obviously been escorted out and cannot defend themselves. Ive never seen anything so disgusting. I had to stop the bouncers one time by protecting one patron they thought was trying to sneak in the club but it was actually someone else.

Stay away from this Club, I was already leery about going in the first place after reading previous reviews but I was going to support a DJ friend that was spinning there that night. It was supposed to be free entry before 11:00PM and then got changed to 10:30. We arrived at 10:15PM and was denied entry without tickets. I told the door guy that we were guests and called my buddy out to try to get us in but they would not allow it. So $20 for parking and if we wanted to get in it was $50 a person. Door staff was extremely rude and we will never set foot inside that club. It wont be long before it folds, people will not consistently pay those steep fees when there are other venues with better show for a fraction of the price!!! Be warned and stay away!!

This is sketchy. They tried to rob me. I bought a few drinks + a door fee and I had like 7 charges on my account. Don’t come here. They said they would refund it, which they tried, inadequately. Net loss of 280$. I literally just paid a door fee and bought a total of like 5 drinks.

Hello. I went to this club a few weeks ago and it was very bad. The employees were rude to you and arent very helpful. There was also a lot of underage kids there drinking and leaving wasted. The drink were decent but not good by any standards. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am a Houston native and this is by far the worst place I have ever been in the city. 1 out of 5 stars

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The bartender with black hair STOLE my cousins card and said she didn’t have it when we clearly opened a tab and she kept the card so as we’re leaving we’re trying to close our tab out with her and she says we never opened one with her and that she lost it. Well we told the manger and he didn’t do anything about it. The next day my cousin calls chase to cancel her card and it says that there was two charges of $100 that was declined and was noted as fraud that we CLEARLY didn’t do. She had one drink I had one drink and we just danced the rest of the night. But she took the card home because chase also said that there was a charge of $4 at McDonalds that was denied because they thought it was fraud as well. And to top the night off another girl came up to the v.i.p desk complaining about her card being stolen. This place is crooked and it wasn’t even worth it. It’s weird. The music is weird. It’s not lit. There’s weird people. And this was on a Saturday and it wasn’t lit or worth it.

Staff isn’t very helpful, and the “dress code” required is picky and biased. Be careful what you put down, even for a second, anywhere. I was in the restroom washing my hands and someone took my Juul vape. Within a 1 minute span. It’s lit but basic. They play a couple bangers here and there. I wouldn’t say it’s worth your $20 though. 🤷🏾‍♂️

$20 parking, $20/person cover for meh EDM in a hot crowded space with terrible service. Sprawling venue with two stages. Main stage was wayyyy too crowded for me and second stage was way too slow/mellow. Also, probably because of the crowding, it was kind of hot and sweaty (not in a good way) in the main room. The other room was much more comfortable. Also, service was terrible at both bars I went to, ordered multiple times only to give up and try again with another bartender. I was in town for music festival though, so maybe this sort of club just isnt for me.

Should probably rebrand itself as a hookah bar than a night club. Or at least lower the cover fee to half the asking price. There was no dance floor at all. Just a bunch of near empty sections and wannabe influencers taking pictures of their SHEIN fit. Such a shame because the DJ playing that night was actually good. The one star is for the music and the fact you can smoke inside but other than that, it’s a joke.

Parking was $20 Cash. Tickets purchased online & must print and bring to enter. Tickets were $15 per person. Clean restrooms. Went when paul oakenfold performed & had a great time. Dont know the guy but turned it into a great hang. Expensive drinks but lively spirit. Definitely worth the time & cost. Recommend.

One of the worst nightclubs in Houston. The music is absolutely garbage. They play music that teenagers would jam out to which is not surprising since when I visited the other night I only saw a bunch of what looked like under age tweens. The DJ, wait, what DJ? All he does is press play and pause to play a new song. This place is only worth it if a big name is coming through and even then I’m not sure it is. The cover charges for these “big name” nights are expensive af and the drink prices are insane! The bottle girls are okay looking but half the time they look cracked out. The actual patrons who attend spire are usually the most non interesting individuals you can find. Most patrons that come to visit spire think they are some bit shot because they spent their entire two week paycheck on one night. Additionally the women know this and will leech off these poor men. Unfortunately I will not be visiting spire anytime soon and I advise and future readers of this comment to think twice before attending. Your night will definitely not be a success. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so!

A word of advice: Dont fall for it and think they will honor their reservations..They are bunch of liers, no respect for deals at all.It was my best friend bachelor party, we did a reservation 10 days before the party, in a section in front of the DJ, once we arrived they flipped and wont let us in unless we pay a $1000 extraAfter waiting over 30 minutes outside, they said theyll give us a table upstairs for the same old price, we agreed to that, after an hour of waiting for the drinks to come, they flipped again and wanted us to pay extra $400We had 4 bottles, when it reached 2 AM, they didnt even give us the chance to check what we have left of drinks and they took (I prefer stole) whole bottle of whiskyVery disrespectful and un-honorable for their deal and words

Not even worth a star. Worst club experience ever. We’ve been there for Steve Aoki’s event. We got out tickets from a month earlier but when we arrived there it was packed. No room for even walking ! We could barely breath in the middle stage so after 20 minuets we left. I don’t know for for an event like that( with not so cheap tickets) they oversell them.Not going there for sure!

Smaller than I thought. Crowd is really young. Music was okay, bar a little intimidating. The guys...some were respectful, some were not. Parking seemed decent. Maybe if I went on a different night it would have been better, but I just didnt have fun

Hands down the best nightlife venue in Houston. State of the art sound and lighting systems. It’s a club - that being said expect scrutiny at the door unless you know someone or are someone. Otherwise, dress nice and you won’t have an issue.

I guve this place all stars because of the great music and age limitation. People werent rude or anything and upon entering you can either pay with card or cash. Most days that they are open it does get really crowded especially when it gets close to holidays. You can dress casual even if you are a nerd. It needs more space in the club because everyone was dancing on everything they could think to dance on which was funny. The drinks are over priced because if i go to numbers and can get a really good damn drink i wouldnt want to go somewhere else and pay way more at spire and get the same good taste for a drink. Water is way too expensive $5 for a bottle of water i might as well stand in the rain or drink from a garden hose lol. Spire is in a really good spot for its location but it would be better for more space do to over crowding once it gets to after 3am it does start to die down which is good.

The worst club I ever seen. The staff are very rude. Just water price is 6$. They charge 20$ just for one time enter. İf you go out for some reason you need to pay 20$ more. I cannot give 0 star thats why looks like 1 star. I highly dont recommend to people to go there. Dont spare your time and money such bad club.

As a female veteran and a woman of sexual assault, I would not recommend this place. 2 male individuals with a female bathroom rep stood by the door while women exited and entered. I asked the male reps why they were standing so close to the open door as women entered and exited and they said because they can. I asked where the manager was, and they claim they didn’t know. I walked to the bar and asked for the manager, I told him what happened and even showed him the woman who was present. The woman preceded to lie about what occurred. I saw that a camera was visible and advised the manager to take a look. Where the men where posted WAS highly inappropriate. I will not be recommending this place due to safety reasons for other women. They have perverted male staff members that work here.

Had a good time at spire even though it took me more than an hour to get in. First they tripping because a homeboy is wearing Js then they make us go back again because I was dressed western. They wouldnt let people in because of the way they were dressed, and I never seen nothing wrong about the way they were dressed. And the drinks are way too overpriced by the way

Came here to try and get a drink and walked in they werent even serving anymore everybody just standing there. Its so small definitely dont come here staff were rude as well. They should have said that before i paid my 20 that they werent serving alcohol . smdh they definitely need a sign for those of us who dont know tabc lawsI mean i paid my 20 walked in and walked out couldnt even get my money back .

The WORST place I have ever been to in my life. Zach the so called owner threw me down the stairs just because i was outside to grab one person that got left outside the gate from our group. Treated us like a piece of trash after we have spend almost 50k in a 2 month period to go out to cle their sister club and here to have fun on the weekends. Absolutely disgusted how they treat people here doesnt matter who you are everyone is just a number to them.

Tonight the bouncer let 4 minors in that paid him $100 but he refused to let me and my friends in because we were wearing PGA Golf Shorts and they were too athletic.. real classy place

Worst club i have ever been too!! Avoid at all costs ! Bouncers are rude, security inside don’t do their job, they oversell tickets and cram so many people into the small venue that it becomes unbearable and dangerous. We paid $80 each to see Kaskade and had to leave 10 minutes into his set cause we were getting squashed against the wall and couldn’t breathe

On January 20, 2018, Spire nightclub opened its doors to fans all across Houston to come together to dance the night away as Kaskade was performing live. As Spire Nightclub might have had good intentions, the safety of its visitors was compromised and was second to overall profits. The club deliberately continued to sell tickets at the front entrance for $100 dollars each to a show whos tickets sold out online weeks before in just a few minutes. There were a number of reports of aggressive security detail who simply went TOO far. Many people who paid for tickets in advance were forced to leave the club before the concert ever began due to the fear of ones physical well being. I am but one person who has been effected by the negligence of the club and has been forced into this position. I call for all people who attended Spire Nightclub to please voice your frustration and join others who also demand justice. Together we can make a difference. Disappointing. The music was painfully loud, there was vomit on dance floor nobody mopped up, staff and promoters are snobby and bouncers are too rough on the guys. Nonalcoholic drinks are overpriced after hours. It used to be a church. One star for the clean bathroom and another star for the dancing Millennials. They were looking good and having fun.

I’m not from Houston and I’ve finally found a regular spot I enjoyed myself so much Saturday night it’s huge they have ALL races and it was NO GHETTO drama the drinks were a little expensive but they were not watered down shout out to club SPIRE I Loved it there oh and clean bathrooms

Zero stars! The Moksi show was great! Not only does the spire not have a business phone number, but expect terrible service. my bill was 20$ and some change, but I also found an additional 300.00 usd charge from this place on my card. I suspect this place of fraudulent activity. DO NOT GO HERE. still refuting the charge and after 24 hours not a single person has gotten back to me.

Lied. On Eventbrite post they said free Hennessey from 10:30pm to 11:30pm. When I got there was first told to ask the waiter then was told that they didnt have it. Lying is just not cool. Only reason I came was for that. Wouldnt of wasted my time if it wasnt for that bogus claim.

I love the history behind the place, it use to be a church! That’s so crazy to me, but this place is GREAT! I love the music, and the rappers who always come. The Instagram for this place is always on point and so are the dope pictures!! The workers really know what they are doing!

They canceled the Travis Scott after party and posted refunds would be available within 24 hours. Then deleted that post and I’ve messaged them a while back both on here and insta and no reply. They also deleted peoples comments on one of their post in regards to the refund then limited their comments on each post… just trying to get my money back but seems like they don’t even want to do that after publicly posting about refunds

Came from Dallas to see Galantis. Worst club I have ever been to. Unless you pay for a VIP booth youre not going to see anything. Worst layout I have ever seen. Got assaulted by a bouncer and some POS girl he was escorting even though I was trying to go the other way(away from stage). To top it off my friends phone got stolen. Dont go here unless youre someone thatd pay for bottle service to show off.

Bouncers tried to snatch my phone. Extremely rude and one even tried to coax me in to fight with him. (Ridiculously unprofessional) They dont have a phone number to call. Havent responded to my emails, and the contact me page on their sight is a joke. Cheaper, cleaner, more professional place in the surrounding area WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

One star is for the sound system, which was amazing. The bouncers are ***holes, they wouldnt stop pushing all of us. This club caters to a certain type of people, if you know what I mean, felt discriminated.

Ok, i did a reservation a week ahead and been contacting the club for a week and when i get there the prices changed and they told me they cant keep up the resvervation, they are a bunch of lairs, dont trust them. I had a bad experience with there promoters, bascially they tell you somehing and when u show up u gonna find different things. there prices is too high and the customer service is bad. find another club.

Wen hair for a birthday party the atmosphere was cool the DJ was great the people that ran it was wonderful and we didnt have a problem getting in it was a really upscale crowd no problems I loved it I just wish it would have been a little bit bigger but nonetheless I still had a great time

Overpriced drinks, decent club, yes the bouncers are horrible but what can you do. They are very violent, and just be careful. Nothing happened to me but choke holds are not uncommon.

Had a valid parking permit for the lot they apparently rent out. They wouldnt let me park without paying $50. Before this i had considered going to the club, but after the experience of the staff outside being rude, I will never give this place a dime.

This place is for white people and white people only. If you want any kind of mixed atmosphere, this is NOT where you want to go (at least on Fridays). For all my caucasians, this is the spot for you. Not to make ot a race thing but its pretty obvious that this isnt an atmosphere tailored to all cultures which os fine as there are clubs that are directly opposite to this one. Anyways go to Mercy or Lumen, for night hours or Cloud 9 for afterhours if youbare of color.

Way too crowded, and the staff is rude. Theres artists that Ive always wanted to see performing at this club and I rather travel to their next stop than having to come here. I recommend going to Stereo Live instead.

I selected one star only because otherwise it wouldnt let me post. If I could select negative stars I would. Not surprised they treat customers as bad as they have according to some of the posts because they certainly dont give a [bleep] about the people who live in the area. The noise is so loud its like a sonic assault on your body. It was a 5-hour continuous assault until 4 a.m. the other night. Sure it was a Saturday night but its not like they would be concerned that there are people who work on Sundays and have to get up and go to work with only a couple of hours sleep.

The most unprofessional staff I have ever seen. Sloppy and disrespectful. I have never so many intoxicated and disrespectful patrons. So many more places to go party where the owners and staff actually care about their customers. I am not playing games about this. I work hard for my money and I will never spend it there or return.

This place sucks. Really bad. There are a bunch of teenagers here, the music is literally the mainstream music you hear on the radio. We went to check it out, but it was so bad and they didn’t want to give us a refund. The club is full of random old dudes trying to get young girls to drink and party in their section, that’s another thing. So many weirdos.Don’t go here if you’re looking to have a good time, this place is like a middle school party. It’s wack.

Well I had fun... didnt have any issues. The only con I would have is that the floors are not skinny heel friendly. I recommend wearing a chunky heel ladies/gents.

Paid $25 to get in, it was DEAD on a Friday and they closed down at 4am even though we were told 5am. Not the vibe.

Great environment, beautiful bottle girls, dope music, & not to mention that the sections inside are spacious. Being in that type of environment is always great satisfaction.

While a decent club experience (and thats generous), they have repeatedly shown RACISM towards club goers. Certain races get priority over others and that overshadows all other qualities.

It was alright. I went for an after party to Freaky Deaky and I guess expected more people from there to attend. Seemed like more of the “usual” hang out spot instead of the place you want to see when you’re out of town.

Came from Ohio to check out the city, visit the alphalete gym, told me my Ohio ID was fake hassaled with them for almost 20 minutes to finally get my ID back after almost involving the Police. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because, of a guy Named Dom who apologized and offered me to come in and get drinks.

The stage sux. All the rich VIP people blocking the view. Went their for Tiesto, cant even see him from the front. VIP dancing on the stage. I dont give a damn about those uninteresting VIP people. Get them OFF THE STAGE.

My head was busted open on the dance floor and they didnt even call an ambulance as I bled out... they just threw me out to the side and left me there with no one...8 staples later I can only thank God that my friends found me but what an inconsiderate group of staff.

Absolutely amazing place, there is nothing else like it in Houston! The best spot to see premier international EDM talent in town.

The atmosphere here is just never actually lively. Like people are....just there. The staff doesnt even look like theyre all there. Just a weird place, with a VERY weird energy.
