This place is DISGUSTING! They charge full price and EVERYTHING is broken. No steam room, sauna, 3 horrible broken down showers with caution tape everywhere. The rooms are made out of broken plywood walls that have kicked in holes and spray paint all over them. Hardly anyone ever there and it is VERY dark. I felt like I was sleeping under a Subway. As I was there some young kid runs to the front desk screaming, my friend is overdosing please help we just got out of jail! The funny thing is the young male who worked the front counter told me they have a sauna and steam room and all that stuff. This place is basically a homeless shelter/crack house. How are you still open? Close to a decade ago this place was decent. As far as Im concerned this place should be condemned now. Reading all of these bad reviews trust me people they are all 100% correct! You might want to choose a location like Detroit for this abomination rather than Philly.

Filthy, scary, massive, empty. I went back in august and you had to leave your id at the front and they give you a stained, torn towel. Wish I could have seen this place during its heyday but now its basically a homeless shelter. Not sure whats really going on with this place like if its a cover for something else. Maybe because its so big and understaffed for them to notice or they just dont care but people are smoking t in there. Had a really uneasy feeling there and left quickly.

Ive been to bathhouses across North America and can honestly say this is probably the worst one Ive seen.Granted I went on a Thursday but I was literally the only person there other than the staff. There was simply no one there. Completely dead.I saw why. The place was dirty. There were actually paper bags, plastic soda bottles, and other trash littering the aisles on the second floor where my room was. The steam room was only lukewarm and looked and smelled moldy. The front desk man seemed nice but that was the only good thing. I left after barely an hour in this wretched place.

This place continues to go downhill. They have said for years improvements were coming. Some have but most have not or not enough.The rooms have wire meshing on top that all look as if they have been broken into from above. There are no safes for use. The staff is rude and unprofessional. For example I am waiting in the vestibule before actually entering the place for over 30 min so that the cashier can change shifts. There are actually 7 of us waiting here. The shift change is at midnight. The cashier who was working until midnight told us we could not come in. The cashier who works from 12am on, apparently was just woken up in one of the rooms and no one else could help us to get in. Its now 1245, the cashier showed up and 5 of us are still waiting to get in. The place is a joke.

I called the place before deciding to go and was told there were many people there, and that the rooms were even sold out. Total lie! Barely anyone was there and if they were they were in their rooms and not in any of the play areas. If I was told it was slow, I would have just come another night. Might give this play a try again on a Saturday night but otherwise disappointed with my experience and purchase. Side note this place seems very popular with black men if you are looking for that.

This is the worst bathhouse I’ve in town. They have swiped my ID 4 different times with different people and it took me weeks to retrieve it. At first, lockers were given with lock and keys, which was easier to identify ID because of the numbers on the locks but they changed it to corrupt people. Bad management, do NOT trust them with your IDs cos they will swipe it.

I’VE BEEN READING THE HARSH REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE AND I’M SADDENED. WHILE ITS BEEN SEVERAL YEARS SINCE I’VE BEEN THERE, I’VE ALWAYS HAD A WILD TIME. IT IS DIFFICULT FOR BATHHOUSES TO TURN A PROFIT THESE DAYS. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE IN AN EXPENSIVE CITY. THEY ARE BECOMING PASSION PROJECTS FOR DEEP POCKETED INDIVIDUALS. WOULD LOVE TO BUY IT AND RESTORE IT TO IT’S FORMER GLORY DAYS.I`ve been to this bathhouse multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Ive been to many baths, all over the world and would rate one night in particular there, in my top three experiences. That was 5-6 years ago. On the top floor was a blackout maze that was insane. (And a secret room) I went back a couple of years later and they appeared to have been doing some reconfiguring and that area had been moved. While not as dark and forboding, it was still a lot of fun. And i believe they had an area of private suites.? I may be wrong about that but i saw guys going into a locked area that required a key. Then covid hit and they closed. Im headed back to philly soon and plan on going. They have a new website but info is scant. Are they still under construction, or no? Do they have private suites? No interior pics. I prefer this over Club Philly, but admit i like the darker, grittier vibe when it comes to a bathhouse. Ive never had a problem with the staff.

The gym was very clean. It also smelled like a pleasant cleaner had just been used recently. There were a nice amount of guys in the place for a Tuesday, half price rooms for members may have been the reason for this but I was happily surprised!

Here for one night (first time in Philly) looking for something to do since the bars were quiet. I arrive and ask the thin bald guy if theres anyone inside. He says Oh, yes, definitely. It takes him about 15 minutes to check me in.And guess what - theres not one person there. Literally, I walked around for 10 minutes and didnt see a soul. On the way out, I said - fairly amicably - Wow, that was not cool. I just dropped $20 and you werent exactly up front with me - there was nobody inside.Heres what he did:I didnt say there were a LOT of people.Well, you inferred itYou know what? Youre old and drunk. And youre barred - permanently.What? Im just telling you its not cool to pretend theres people inside when theres literally nobody. Be honest with people.GET OUT OR IM CALLING THE POLICEYikes. Welcome to Philadelphia.So yeah, save yourself the $20 and wait outside to see if anyone else is going in. Otherwise, skip it.

It is gigantic! It is the Manhattans Macys of bathhouses. The best way to describe the logic of the floor plans and decoratios, is by imagining that the architect and decorator planned it all under the influence of LSD, but oddly enough, everything works well together.It is my first time here. I used to go to Club Philly only sole because the reviews on Google claimed the staff here was not nice and I cant stand rude peoole. Not the case. Staff is awesome. Hot, polite and efficient. Prices here are way better.Apparently the competitiin is busier. I was here all Saturday. Not a whole lot of people. The rooms are huge for a bathhouse. Well maintained. I lije the ambiance here better. Will most certainly be coming back. Thank you all for a lovely time!

The place is filthy and bedbugs urine and fecal matter in both bathrooms .the people at the front desk are rude.and very unproffessional.i was at this cesspool like 3 weeks ago.will never come back again.also I saw 2 employees pocket some if the money.one of the workers name is LEE.THATS THE NAME HE TOLD ME.I PAID HIM THEN HE PUT THE MONEY RIGHT IN HIS POCKET.the other employee was a mentally ill short white man loud and very rude.theives and bums will never return again.

I checked into this place and within 10 minutes or less I checked out upon walking into the room I almost threw up at the condition of this room whether Covid or not the standards and hygiene of this place are beyond me and I’ve been trying to reach manager for over a week now with no return call despite me paying a fair amount of money to enter the vicinity and leave immediately.

This place doesn’t worth the money I paid, it’s so emptyNobody come here, only creepy guys and 70,80s old pplAnd they need to make restoration work on this place.I came far from Florida to visit this place but I’m disappointed ☹️.

Very large facility, lots of rooms and lockers. Also have some great dark rooms and public play areas. Lighting and music help set the environment and little things like mouthwash and fresh water coolers are added bonuses.

So I am here right now, been here since maybe 400, been treated rudely by the staff twice already, my first time here I had questions, and it was like they couldn’t be bothered at all. Horrible experience, I would leave now, if it wasn’t for the fact I paid 30 something dollars. Don’t recommend

I used to work next-door at Adonis and used to stop in from time to time and I must say I’ve always enjoyed myself when I used to visit and secretly I always wanted to work here instead of Adonis but Manager would not let me let me know if any openings, my name is Kyle

Absolutely the worst bath house Ive ever been in. Only stayed 10 mins, and no refund. Not even on the 1.00 towel deposit.

Terrible place. I got a room and I left my belongings there. When I came back all my cash was gone. It was stolen by someone with access to the rooms. Dont go here at all cost.

New staff are a breath of fresh air..so professional and friendly! Dan/Deshawn team on Thurs nite are incredible!

You wont find a better bathhouse for miles. Known as the white baths for its older white crowd, but lately the young urbanboys are rockin it.

I must say this place is truly an awesome place to go! Staff are extremely friendly nice and caring!

Terrible! Theres a biba black cacura who serves without the slightest bit of education! Ive been to several places in NYC (bars, saunas, nightclubs) presenting my Brazilian identity and I got in without any problems! (and not to mention Europe, where I also present my Brazilian identity when Im there and go to the rare places where this is requested and I enter without any hassle). When I showed my ID to this thick, ridiculous, barely-fed Cruzcredo puppy, she responded SCREAMING, like she was giving birth to a donkey, saying that the document was no use! The scandalous tapir must only read English poorly and poorly and cannot even identify an identity document from another country! Fagot with a devils face and a dogs sense of humor! Just to annoy you, I took my passport and went back to the place, making a point of showing off the various visas I have in different parts of the world, there was another figure there serving less obnoxiously, but the thick queer was close by and kept looking with that stupid ass look on his face. with cramp! I walked in and the place is rubbish, filthy, and empty! I dont recommend it!
