Thank you so much for the massage, Chelsea! It was by far the best massage Ive ever had.Right from the start, I knew I was going to love Urban Calm. Everything was on point. Booking my massage was easy, the staff was amazing, and the whole vibe of the place completely made me forget I had just walked in from a busy downtown street. The receptionist was very friendly and professional, and offered me water while I was filling out my intake form.I work at a computer for my job so I get tension headaches and neck and upper back pain from sitting at my desk for hours. Ive had a few professional massages before, but this one was next level! Chelsea had the perfect amount of pressure and knew exactly how to come at each of my trouble spots. Ill definitely be back and highly recommend Urban Calm if you need the best massage available in San Diego!

Elizabeths service was outstanding—she was incredibly informative, genuinely friendly, and demonstrated an impressive knowledge about skincare. She patiently answered all my questions, providing extensive information tailored to my skin needs and treatments. I recently had my second experience with Duree and my first Glow 2 facial and Duree was wonderful as usual. Amazing experience, attention to detail and made me feel so relaxed. Didnt feel rushed whatsoever. Product knowledge and Professional! My face looks amazing!

Elias went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating attention to detail while performing a crack and baseball wax. He was communicative throughout the whole process which made me feel very comfortable. His valuable feedback and after care guidance were greatly appreciated, and I look forward to returning.

Maybe my wife just needed one with our first baby on the way, but we both turned to each other after our couple massage and said it was THE BEST massage either of us had ever had. Our masseuses were so attentive and personalized the massage to both what we said we needed initially as well as what they could tell we needed in the moment.

I would give 100 stars. Thanks to elizabeth, I came with a very very damaged skin, all feeling burnt (and yes there were burnt spots), lots of bumps, rashes, tight, itchy. Elizabeth saved my life. She was very attentive to our story and gave treatment and products only based on what we need. I have encountered multiple clinics only trying to sell more than you need. Right after the treatment and product use, I could feel the difference already, finally feeling like real skin. Now it’s been only 6 days and my skin changes so much for the better.The staffs were super friendly and welcoming as well. The place was clean and cozy.

This spa is beautiful and completely relaxing. After a thorough consultation with Cierra L. I had the Diamond Glow Treatment with the Celluma LED light. Cierra told me what to expect at each step and gave me the most amazing massage of my head, face and arms that I have ever had during a facial. My face felt amazing and I felt so refreshed after. I would definitely recommend Cierra at Urban Calm.

I had an incredible first experience at Urban Calm. I booked the IS clinical facial with Durae along with the blue light & hand/foot treatment add-on. My skin needed some major TLC after traveling…I am so thankful I chose this spa! It was the warmest welcome & she gave me the 411 on my service prior to my start time. I haven’t felt as relaxed as I did for that 90 mins for awhile - I’ll definitely be back! Also, my skin looks & feels great. Thank you for such a great start to my birthday, Durae!

This was by far the best massage and spa experience I have ever had! My husband and I did the Urban Love package with a few add ons. When we arrived, we were offered beverages and cute chocolates. We filled out a short form so that the massage therapists would know which problem spots to work on the most. Whitney was one of the most wonderful, attentive, professional, informative, and kind people I have ever met. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I 10000% recommend Urban Calm. Its worth the price, I promise.

Ive been here twice for long full body massages and I have only great things to say about them! Really fantastic and knowledgeable team, friendly and down to earth. Pressure is perfect. I could tell they knew what they were doing as they worked on my muscles and answered all questions. Both times Ive come out shining and light, my back and neck freed from work and computer stress. I even got to try their new sauna today for an hour of extra detox. So so good!

I have been coming to Urban Calm for three years since I moved to San Diego. I have been so impressed with this company & most importantly my #1 esthetician, Elizabeth. I know when I eventually have to move back to East coast, I will never find anyone as incredible as her. She has turned into a wonderful friend and makes my experiences so peaceful and so welcoming. Its her personal touches and friendliness that is really appreciated. Elizabeth stays up to date on new techniques in her industry and is cutting edge and travels to conferences which I really respect and admire. I recently had a small small small issue and the owner of the company went above and beyond and gave outstanding customer service to keep me happy. Without getting into details, I didnt even have to complain about something, he took initiative to address the situation an offered a resolution which I was really blown away by. So the combination of my amazing treatments and professionalism with Elizabeth mixed with outstanding customer service - I can say this is one of the best companies out there. I try to go monthly or bimonthly when I am in town and Elizabeth has gotten my skin to evolve and look so healthy. I will continue to go to urban calm and highly recommend this company to all. I am not a massage kind of gal but I can only imagine how wonderful that department is as well.

Elizabeth provided excellent service. It was my first time getting this procedure. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. In addition, I have gone to her for waxing twice now and has done a great job on my eyebrows. Love the shape! Lastly, the support staff is always very kind and accommodating. I had a great experience at urban calm! I got my boyfriend a massage for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. Its located in the cutest building, rustic looking and decorated with gorgeous trees that were in bloom! Right when we walked in we were greeted with a smile and it continued with absolutely amazing customer service. Durae did his massage and he absolutely loved it! He was really impressed with her professionalism and technique. We will definitely be back!

I booked a facial consultation for service because I didn’t know exactly what my skin needed. When I first got there I was welcomed with water or tea. I loved the staff, everyone was so welcoming. I booked my facial with Whitney. I loved that she asked me my concerns and gave me my best option. We did a platinum hydrafacial. Which I wanted to add a customs booster and lymphatic drainage. My skin felt brand new after myHydrafacial. I loved Whitney. She was so personable and laid back. You can tell she loves what she does here at Urban Calm. I will be back next month for another service with her!

Knowledgeable, affordable and relaxing. The Glo2 facial was a nice alternative to the hydrafacial I typically get. Tim explained the differences to me and was very through. Personally I feel like I get a better glow from the hydrafacial.

Elizabeth was wonderful. She took her time and did an excellent job shaping my eyebrows. It was actually very relaxing. She also made great suggestions and may be booking a facial with her soon.

Love this downtown gem of a spa! Completely relaxing and is exactly what I want in massages and facials. The first time I came here was for a birthday gift. I added a facial and upgraded to a 90min massage and it was just heaven!! The whole staff is just so warm, it is a place where I feel so welcomed and wanted. Its a small spa so there isnt any amenities in terms of a locker room, steam room or sauna but they do a wonderful job at making it feel worth every penny. They do have robes if you get a massage and a facial. Since they are a small spa they dont rush you out the door after your services. Its nice to relax and take your time getting dressed after such great treatments.I come relatively regularly for the massages with Sonia who I cant even say enough good things about. Shes the reason that I come back; such a great therapist and knows exactly what I want. Soon Im hoping to add facials to my regime. I love this spa and so much better than a lot of other over prices spas Ive tried out there.

Today was my first time getting a HydraFacial, and let me tell you...I am hooked! I have an important event coming up and Lizzy fit me into her schedule super last minute. Lizzy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lizzy listened to my needs and recommended products from the brand iS Clinical and Eminence to help treat my skin concerns. I ended up adding on a hydro jelly mask which really helped to hydrate my skin. The spa itself was beautiful and very relaxing, a hidden gem located in East Village. Ill definitely be back here!

On a recent business trip, I decided to treat myself to a facial and found this gem in downtown San Diego. I splurged for the Hydrofacial and so glad that I did! My skin hasn’t looked or felt this good in years! What an amazing experience and the staff was great. Thank you Urban Calm!

I booked the Urban Love package for my husband’s birthday and it was AMAZING! 2.5 hours of being pampered. Everyone was so welcoming accommodating. We left feeling more relaxed than we have been years! Highly recommend!!

My fiancé got me a hydrafacial from Urban Calm and my skin feels amazing! I never do anything like that but the treatment was easy and simple and I’m left refreshed. Great staff. I forget their name but the esthetician was very informative. Easy to find in East Village.

This spa is a bit hidden, but its certainly a gem! I decided to go with the urban reset and it was everything. Duray (I hope I spelled her name right) was magical! From the amazing massage, to the facial treatment and skin advise she gave me. I walked out feeling amazingly rejuvenated. I am not from the area, but the next time I am in town I am definitely going back.
