Massage Envy in Sun City Center is absolutely amazing! Sandra is my go-to therapist, and she always does an incredible job. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed and relaxed. The entire experience is top-notch, with Sandra being exceptionally kind, informative, and genuinely caring about your well-being. She listens to your needs and tailors the session to ensure you leave feeling rejuvenated. I highly recommend Sandra and the entire team at Massage Envy for a truly great experience!

Came in for massage for my birthday, hoping for a relaxing massage. The therapist talked the entire time. Never stopping-I heard about her career, shoes, back problems, extracurriculars in acupuncture and grounding. I have very full life and wanted one hour of massage and peace. Got 5min during undressing and dressing. My legs and and feet got 5 min tops. Just wild for $70 massage. She was kind and decent but what a waste of my birthday gift of relaxation.

Friendly front desk staff and excellent massage therapists. Tabatha helped relieve my extremely tight muscles and even reduced mysinus pressure. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful. I left feeling like a new person.

If I could give it a 0 start review I would. First I waited over 2 month for my husband appointment and when he showed up they have cancelled the appointment without notice stating that they tried to contact me which is definitely not true because I did not received any calls, messages or emails. What a waste of time.

When I walked in, there were 3 ladies standing behind the counter and neither of them greeted me. I had to say hello and ask how things were. The energy wasn’t welcoming and felt very negative. I had my 6 year old with me maybe thats why, I don’t know. I was denied my service because I had her with which I understand. My appt ended up getting cancelled because they had no appointments that accommodated my schedule. Im okay with that, I wont be returning here.

Would be zero stars if we could. Not because of the people who work there but the owners/managers. Not going to write a novel explaining, just know they won’t be in business long. On the other hand the Brandon Message Envy went above and beyond to give us a great experience after hearing about what had happened. I highly recommend you go to the Brandon location.

My hour massage yesterday was 40 minutes. Now I understand that an hour massage is typically 50 minutes, 5 minutes before and after for undressing and dressing. And they will tell you that. But mine was 40 minutes. When I mentioned it to staff they argued that it was 50 minutes. You do the math.... massage started at 1:35 and ended at 2:15. I wouldnt have minded if it was a few minutes shorted, but 10 minutes is substantial. And then staff denied it as well. Not professional.

I went for the first time and paid for the 60 min massage,and all that was done was my back and arms. Ive been to other places, and when I pay for a massage, I get full body massage front and back .This was not what I expected. I expected a full body massage very disappointing. I also paid for exfoliating foot trratment and that was disappointing. I feel as tho I wasted my money.

I just love Massage Envy. I have been with them more years than I can count. I started in St Petersburg. I was so happy when they put one in Sun City Center because I now live here. I have had facials and massages. I love having the 90 minute massage.

Since i cant do 0 stars. My wife booked an appointment for a facial for my 15 year old son. Three business requires an adult of any sub-16 year old in the room so she had to go to the back with him and the masseuse. Before going back, she had asked if she could quickly drop our daughter somewhere and return (they had to ask my son questions so now would have suited it). They said no. And said she could cancel the appointment (results in a fee). She said she didnt want to cancel. My daughter took an Uber so my wife could stay. In the back room, they then asked my son the questions. The same questions that were filled out already on their questionnaire from the lobby area. My wife, annoyed from the waiting room issue, explained they have the answers to those questions already. The masseuse then told my son that the facial comes with shoulder massage but he can decide if he wants it or not. My wife spoke up, questioning how is it that an adult MUST be back there with a sub-16 year old yet consent to a massage is given by the child and not the adult. The lady then left, returned with a manager. The manager said that they will not be providing them with any services and they must leave. Yet, they charged my wifes card for canceling.

Hamlin is a great therapist and I have enjoyed my experience each time I have come to this location. All staff has always been friendly, professional, and accommodating when I have been there. The facility is extremely clean and the membership program is very affordable compared to other massage locations around this area. I’m glad I made the decision to enroll in it, and will be back soon.

I’m so glad I didn’t let my first experience dissuade me. I went in a week ago and saw who was available. The massage was good and relaxing but not what I needed as an athlete competing into my 40s.I called the manager who called back promptly to discuss the service. She was great, very responsive and suggestive. She recommended I try Hamlin. Glad I did.My second appointment was perfect for me and I followed her lead to a very therapeutic training massage.I was so happy I signed up for a year and rebooked for next week, 1 week before I compete.Great store, great staff, great facilities, and great service.Only advice is don’t book blind. Call and speak with staff about what you want in a service and trust the recommendations. You won’t be disappointed.Thank you!

Had a massage today with Auris. She was wonderful! She used excellent pressure and it was a great experience. Highly recommend her!

My service here was great!! My therapist was professional and listened to my concerns and continued to check in with me throughout my service to make sure I was feeling okay. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating towards me the entire time I was there, making me feel welcomed from the minute I came in. Very professional and clean environment. I will book here in the future.

I’ve never had a bad experience! Everyone is professional and knowledgeable. Lisa, one of the resectionist, has always been so helpful. Hamlin gives a great deep tissue message. Great place.

I had a great facial with Maddie. It was very relaxing and made my face feel really soft. I really liked it.

Recently contacted them to pause my membership. The rep explained the two types of freezes on the account and I agreed to the freeze plus. Contacted them today because I was being charged for the entire membership, Lisa advised because I didn’t submit the form back. NEVER was told to submit a form, but she stated the rep added a note to my account that she told me. A blatant lie. Calls are not recorded, so the rep can type anything on a file. Basically they dropped the ball, but I have to absorb the cost of the membership fee in full. Will NEVER do business with this franchise ever again!

I’ll be 55 in Feb and this was my very first massage.Hamlin is THE BEST! I’ve battled a knot in my right shoulder blade for YEARS!After one hour long deep tissue massage today I can honestly say I left pain free!I will be going on the regular for sure!!!

I wish I could give this location zero stars.This location is the closest to my house, and from a timing perspective cannot accommodate my schedule. I work during the day, and only have one evening off, which is Tuesday nights. Their last therapist takes appointments at 6 PM. I tried to book on a Sunday, and they were four weeks out.Recently, I had an appointment scheduled for a facial, and that was canceled once I arrived due to the therapist, not being able to get to work.On another occasion, I had a conflict with a massage appointment for me and my husband. As I became frustrated, I watched the manager, sit there and say nothing and allowed his associates to respond to my questions and frustrations. He never identified himself as the manager until the very end, when I specifically inquired. He was very matter-of-fact, and when I asked who I could speak to above him, he told me I could call corporate, he would not give me his full name or his boss. The managers name is Calvin..

Booking is a hassle at times unless booked in person. This is a Massage business people come to relax in a holistic approach and beneficial healing of that energy. When the manager/owner is on site there’s always this negative experience. From the way he treats and talks to customers, or his staff. I wish there was a way to only come on the days he wasn’t there. Only reason I come is because of the massage therapist are, they have no control over his personality or the way he manages the schedule for the front desk staff.

If you have not had a massage with Jae, You do not know what you are missing. She is absolutely amazing

Two issues with this place:1) A simple common problem among many chain massage places. Preferred therapists may change schedules leaving you with a membership that wont match your initial impression. So if you arent flexible you might not get to enjoy a membership as much if you like a specific therapist.2) The bad therapist: I just had a massage and the therapist instead of kneeding or rubbing he applied pressure with the use of his finger nails! I left with scratches throughout my body- When I got home the Mrs. looked at me and thought I was abused. She was more upset than I was, as I couldnt see how my back, neck and legs were left. I didnt feel the extent of the scratches as I have pinched nerves that deaden sensation.

I had the most relaxing full body 60min massage today. My therapist Sharae was so professional, caring and attentive to my concerns and made me feel so great! I loved the overall experience. It was my first time and will definitely make it my go to for relaxation in the near future.

My massage therapist Sherrie is wonderful. She applies the right pressure and target the areas I need focus on and lets me know areas that are most likely to focus on for the next visit. Her calm spirit is always a plus when she is working. Wonderful! wonderful! Wonderful!

I’ve been going to this location for a few months and have consistently had Kevin as a massage therapist. He’s excellent at his job and an asset to this company. I love how they do business, which might seem as an odd thing to say but my faith in massage store chains has been severely tampered by the unprofessional staff at MassageLuxe St. Petersburg - a competitor to Massage Envy. I like that this store offers a couple massage therapists who also do cupping therapy which is highly beneficial for muscles to heal. I recommend you consider subscribing to their member plans available.

Dani is amazing! In an effort to finally try to manage mental and physical stress I booked a trial massage for cheap. I come in with a minefield of knots and work stress and leave feeling ready to hit the gym again. Dani even gave me some good tips for my neck troubles. Membership for me was a no brainer - where else can you get a great massage for less than half the price.

Booked an appointment online and it gave me the confirmation on screen, took off of work for the appointment and I checked my account that stated I didn’t have an appointment, the girl was sweet when I called, but considering it was a website issue on their end, they should have been able to work me in.. instead they tried to have me make an appointment for a facial later that day which isn’t even the service I was booking originally.

I just had my 1st massage today at the Sun City location and Hamlin was my therapist.By far, one of the BEST and most recuperating hour massages I’ve had in a LONG time!!!I thought I only needed my neck and shoulders worked on, but Hamlin knew otherwise. Phenomenal job, awesome pressure and checked in with me throughout the massage.I booked several more appointments with this therapist.

On Monday, May 8th, I booked a massage for Friday, May 12th at 2:15PM. The website says they will not charge your card, so when I noticed they charged my card, I called the location to cancel my Friday appointment. Calvin, the manager and owner, said the appointment was for Monday, May 8th (it was not) and that they would not be issuing a refund. He refused to answer any of my questions and refused to give me his name. I called a different Massage Envy location and they said they fully understand what dealing with him is like and how difficult he can be. This man is should not be allowed to take peoples money - in my opinion. When I asked why his location did not call me, leave a voicemail, or email me when I didnt show up for the appointment they moved it to, he said, We dont have to. DO NOT BOOK A MASSAGE AT THIS LOCATION. Even the other location warned me about this after I called them for help.

One of the best massage therapists I e had in a while. I highly recommend Hamlin for a massage therapist. For someone that lifts weights and a previous massage therapist myself she is the best. Management and staff are excellent as well! What a great team, thank you from a veteran!

Definitely recommend coming in and getting a facial here the service was great starting with the front desk Lisa who welcomed me with a smile and the esthetician Ciara was amazing very gentle and informative. Management was very nice and helpful.

I have had great experiences for the almost two years I’ve been going. My only question is: why can’t they keep aestheticians? Every few sessions I’m told I need to book with someone else.

Told the masseuse my problem areas and he spent most of the massage talking instead of letting me relax. When he gave me the last 10 min warning i told him to work on my problem area but at that point most of my massage was wasted.

Came in feeling pretty crummy (2 days post 2nd shingles vaccine) and left feeling much, much better!Hamlin is an amazing massage therapist! I just LOVE massage Envy in Sun City - they are the BEST! ❤️

The massage was good from Diane. However, they do not take third party gift cards. I was given a gift card for fathers day bought at another retailer and I ended up paying out of pocket. I have been trying to resolve this for over a month and no one that we know of takes this card that has $100 on it.

Cliffsnote-I would recommend other locations. Cant speak to the Massage I never received one. I thought I cancelled my appointment a week prior to it as I had a interview out of state and could not make the appointment. I got a call saying I was late to my appointment, I was a little confused and asked if it showed me cancelling it. They said no and I asked if they did appointment reminders they said yes, and I was called. I checked my call log I wasnt and thats when the issue really started. I could reschedule but would be charged for my missed appointment. I asked if we could work this out and was told to speak with the manager (who happens to be the owner). Unfortunately he was defensive and a little short right off. I explained I thought I had cancelled a week prior and never got the reminder call and would just like to reschedule without being charged. He insisted I was called twice and a voicemail was left, I never received one call and no voicemail. He claimed I was on the call list and it was impossible to have not received a call. He then started getting condescending and talking down to me and didnt want to help or even admit that it was even possible that they could have not called me. Even saying they can look up their call log to see if I was called but he wouldnt look. So long story short I would avoid this location.I get it, if I really missed my appointment Id own this and be upset with myself no big deal. But I didnt, I canceled the appointment, and my phone log shows no call or voicemail. The real disappointing thing was the way Calvin handled this. If he hadnt been rude I wouldnt even be writing this and would have just moved on.

Had a great 90 minute deep tissue massage with Mark. He was excellent and very friendly. I definitely recommend a massage from him.

I highly recommend Sharee for massages and Hannah for your facials I book one hour with each, once a month and I feel like a new woman! I call it my Sha-Hannah special treatment for me day!

You pay $115 for a 60 min massage and they give you a 50 min hands on massage. Normally you spend 1-2 min undressing/getting dressed again.. not 10 min

This was a great visit and a grand opening 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🎉. There were many supporters and appointments made. The staff was wonderful with masked tours, mini massages and great give away, prizes and a great food truck and home made treats. I plan to return and support this great new beginning. Very happy with the service at the new location in Sun City Center. Needed help with neck pain. Victor was my therapist and he did a great job.

Had a facial done with Stephanie and she was very knowledgeable and actually did extractions! my face feels clean and I felt comfortable the entire time.
