A wonderful, luxurious, relaxing, and very special experience! A friend of mine booked a whole morning of fun for us at the Four Seasons as a going away gift before I moved– and I cannot think of any other space in the inner harbor that could compare to this experience. This location for the Four Seasons focuses on aromatherapy, particularly specializing in rejuvenating scents to relax and/or reinvigorate you from the inside-out.I am not used to such lavish spaces like this, so I was quickly impressed by how vast the spas location is inside the hotel. There are many rooms that offer different experiences, each with every detail curated to be relaxing. We enjoyed the Bespoke experience: Sea Holistic, as well as facials, the sauna, and additional aromatherapy (and complimentary champagne + coffee + snacks).Everything from reception to the locker rooms, to the individual experiences, sauna, lounging areas, balcony, and more, were kept wonderfully clean and well-stocked. We were not the only guests, but there was more than enough space throughout the spa for several parties to enjoy rooms separately or simultaneously. My massage therapist/professional was Ryan. They did an INCREDIBLE job! This was my first full-body experience and they were welcoming, informative, and clearly an expert in what they do! Managing to both explain in perfect detail while maintaining a calming and rejuvenating space, Ryan started slow but began working out knots and lumps in my body that I didnt even know existed! I hope to see Ryan again soon, because we really vibed! My only critique? While they had comfortable spa shoes that were my size (womens 5 or 6), the smallest robe they had was quite large. It was comfortably warm and easy to cover myself with, but not as soft as I expected. I am petite at 51 and have slim shoulders, so it hung on me like a child wearing their parents clothing.I am excited for our next visit. I highly recommend this experience for anyone privileged enough to have access to such a luxury that many may not ever get a chance to do!
Im starting to feel like im getting nothing for something here. Ive been coming to this spa for about eight years or so, because of the luxury experience. The hotel is beautiful and the actual spa staff are attentive. However, ever since around Covid the indoor amenities have been closed or down for enhancements every time Ive gone. The requirements for spa guests to use the pool have drastically changed also.Recently, Ive had a customer service experience with the spa that left me questioning whether I wanted to come back. I purchased tickets to the Summer Glow Facial session hosted by The Four Seasons Spa. The tickets were on sale through event brite. Initially I was unable to attend and requested a refund. I received an email from a spa representative stating my request was received and an email confirmation was being sent. After a week without a confirmation I reached follow up, and the representative states they will forward me to the accounting team. The accounting rep then states they cannot process a refund and to contact event brite. I would think this wouldve been communicated in the initial email and without the customer having to follow up a week later.I reach out to event brite and was told the organizer is to settle the refund. This seems to be more of an issue than desired at this point, and I certainly dont want my tickets to go to waste. So I make arrangements to go to the event, on July 18. I called the day of to confirm that we are to come up to the spa. The receptionist had no clue what I was talking about. Once she spoke with someone she confirmed that I was good to come up to the spa. Then at 4pm the same receptionist calls and states that the event was canceled. The event was supposed to be from 6-8pm, why was I just being notified at 4pm? If I hadnt called initially would I have been notified? The receptionist also states that since there was no reservation that there is no refund to be honored. I called back and was forwarded to the same person from the email, that stated even brite would refund me. This time they stated that they were working with event brite to relinquish funds to refund customers and would follow up. That was on July 18, and I havent had a follow up from any of the spa team members regarding the issue. This is not good hospitality from this hotel spa. I expected better communication as a returning customer. The issue isnt the refund, its how the issue is being handled... or lack there of. I guess I should follow up with this too?
The spa facilities are excellent, sauna, steam room, heated stone lounge chairs and a heated pool. The disappointing thing is that the pool is often closed for construction. The massage therapist are honestly average. Ive gotten a massage 3 times with hopes that it will get better, but they really dont have the best massage therapists, I mainly go there to use the spa facilities.
I had a fantastic experience with the Spa Receptionist, Symone Williams! She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. Her attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently was impressive. She made it extremely stress free and a smooth booking experience for all 13 of the appointments I needed. I highly recommend contacting her in the future for any spa bookings!
The spa refuses to spend the time and money to fix their wet areas which have been unusable for years.More importantly, the staff is unhelpful and non-communicative which required over $10,000 in credit card chargebacks for services not received.Shae Jackson - the spa director - is not useful or helpful in resolving issues.
Excellent, high class, just a wonderful experience.I had the Moment of Restful Sleep. Mario is outstanding. I was so relaxed, and felt like jello. He has magic hands.Seaqouia, did the most relaxing facial. She is knowledgeable and friendly. My face was glowing.I would highly recommend The Four Seasons Baltimore . Brittany (managee) tended to my every need. It was a wonderful birthst experience
We booked a couples massage here for our 10 year anniversary. I will start by saying that the massages themselves were VERY good, though quite overpriced. The spa experience, however, was very underwhelming. There was only one place for my spouse and I to sit together, in a small room with a few tables and chairs, designed as an eating/drinking area. Not very relaxing, nor intimate. The heat experiences were all closed, as was the plunge pool. There was no place for us to sit and relax together, which was a bummer for celebrating our 10 yr anniversary. For the cost I would not recommend.
Had a massage with my mom, to celebrate my birthday. While they were very kind and made sure to have great customer service, our massages were not good. For as expensive as they were they hardly touched us. The actual time we were massaged for our hour long session was around 30 mins. I was extremely disappointed.
My husband wanted me to have a better experience than what I had a another massage spa. He treated my daughter and I to a massage. I left feeling relax but terribly disappointed. The woman rubbed me down with oil but did very little massaging.
The massage was great. The only thing i regret is not coming early because of work to enjoy the spa lounge. Its a shame that they close early and they dont offer 50mn massages during the weekend. Also its very VERY pricey from my point of view. The cheapest cost according to the website $225 but no I paid $315 which was 265 + 51 gratuity😕. For the price I wish they could offer you a fre drink or a glass of champagne. The staffs are very welcoming and professional
Scheduled a four seasons massage for my friend and myself to celebrate her birthday today. When I called to schedule I was given a total price for both massages. I mentioned that I’d be paying by gift card. I told the representative the amount on the gift card and she explained that that amount would cover both massages. She also said that parking was validated at the front desk. I ended up booking the appointment. We had a wonderful massage and the spa is very nice. I was a little disappointed that the rainfall shower steamers/misters weren’t working but we had a great time nonetheless. When checking out I explained I was paying with gift card. Turns out the lady on the phone had misinformed me and the total was only for one massage, leaving us with a $480+ tab. Don’t get me wrong, the massage was great, but definitely not worth $480 for 80min. They also informed us that they only validate valet parking. It’s a nice spa but extremely overpriced for what you get.
As nice as the facility and treatment was, when I went to check out they handed me a bag and said it was my gift for visiting their establishment. They proceeded to try to sell me a few recommended products which I declined and said I wasnt in the market to purchase any product. The next day I discovered the charged me $100 for the gift they had handed me. Deceitful practice likely by folks who get commission. Beware!
Overall our spa experience was great but there were a few shortcomings I didn’t expect for the price. My mom and I both had the “Twilight Garden” experience. I had Inat and my mom had Jazmine and we both would highly recommend them. The place was beautiful overall but in the relaxation room someone had left some food, drinks, and tousled blankets that weren’t cleaned up for at least 30 minutes. Those were the only two seats left so we ended up not sitting there because we weren’t sure if they were coming back and the attendant was nowhere to be found. Also, the tubs for soaking before your treatment aren’t good for short people, my mom and I couldn’t get comfortable. Also the vitality pools were closed which sucked. Overall I would recommend this spa but I would expect it to be better upkept for the price.
I have come to the spa here many times, but this last experience was the best yet. I got the citrus essence facial done by Chloe and it was absolutely fabulous. The hostess, Kassandra, was extremely welcoming and helpful too. Cant wait for my next visit :).
Every visit to the Four Seasons Spa is like a slice of heaven. The therapists here have a magical touch that transforms each service into an experience of relaxation and rejuvenation❤️
I love the four seasons spa. I have been many times and never disappointed. Although the heat experience was not available it was still a very relaxing and enjoyable visit. My massage therapist Sarah was amazing and always made sure I was comfortable throughout my massage. I was also offered a glass of champagne to celebrate my birthday which was a lovely touch. Everyone deserves this luxury spa experience.
If you are looking for terrible service, cold / unaccommodating / incompetent staff, and exorbitant prices, this is the place for you. This institution and overall facility does not deserve to belong to the Four Seasons brand. I had booked two spa treatments for myself and a friend over the weekend. I spent 30 mins on the phone making the appointment and asking clarifying questions. The representative over the phone explicitly assured me that 3-hrs of pool access was included in the treatment since we met the appropriate spend threshold. Some context here: i live in nyc and booked this treatment as part of a 24-hr trip that I made to Baltimore to pamper my pregnant friend who was having a hard time. I even gave that context to the front desk when I made the appointment because I asked that they make our experience smooth and enjoyable on the day. On Sunday morning, i called to ask if we could use our pool access before our appointment (instead of after). In response the lady at the front desk told me that pool access was not allowed on a weekend. When I told her that at the moment of booking the original representative assured me there was pool access, the representative I was on the phone with implied that I was lying. She said something along the lines of “I am sure (name of rep) explained our pool policy and let you know that you do not have access over the weekend.” That was simply not the case. It was clearly the original representative’s fault that she got the policy wrong. But this was not my fault and I had planned a whole trip to Baltimore and special gift to my friend around this event. If I had known there was no pool access, I would have simply just booked some place else - especially given the exorbitant prices. I was told a manager would call me back. It took them an hour to do so. By the time they did, I had already walked to the spa to speak with them in person - I tried to level with the representatives there and explain the situation. The reps not only failed to acknowledge their error or apologize, they also made no attempt to right their wrong and were cold/un empathetic throughout the whole process. They called up the director of rooms who was a little nicer, but was also unable to fix the issue at hand. I demanded a refund and left. If you are looking for warm 5-star service and luxury treatment, I suggest you go to the Art of Balance at the RItz Carlton instead - that’s what we ended up doing and I was so happy with that decision.
I visited this spa to celebrate my birthday today and overall the service and massage was great! However, the receptionist convinced me to give the $300 hydro facial a try saying it was worth the money and I would see instant result. It was a complete waste of my $300! I laid there for 50 mins while she suction my face with water and air. No extraction, no deep clean, just water and air. I was completely disappointed and not satisfied with my purchase. I’ve had many cheaper facials that are 1000x better than this! This kinda messed up my birthday. Don’t get the hydrofacial ladies, it’s a SCAM!
DISAPPOINTING! I went to The Spa at Four Seasons for a work event. When entering the spa it was elegant and serene. The front desk staff members were very pleasant and check in was smooth. I was told my masseuses name was Jasmine. After check in, my personal connoisseur picked me up and provided a short tour of the spa before taking me to my locker to change. The robes are nice and soft though when I opened my locker I had xxxl robe even though I had filled out the online check in and indicated I needed a medium robe. No big deal though just asked for a smaller robe. Once I got changed, I proceeded to the waiting area to wait for my masseuse. Jasmine picked me up and took me to a massage room. There she explained the service I was getting. I scheduled a Four Seasons Signature Massage which is supposed to be a swedish massage with a back facial and scalp message. We began the massage which was average, Ive definitely had better. After the massage was done I was expecting the other services to begin but no back facial or scalp massage! I was so disappointed but due to time and being with coworkers I felt it was inappropriate to complain. My conclusion is if you do decide to take your business here I would NOT recommend Jasmine. She is either new or just doesnt do her job. Either way, if you are assigned her I would ask for a different more experienced massage therapist. Others in my party had a wonderful experience though and some even got the same service I did, signature massage, and raved about the back facial and scalp massage. Like I said at the beginning, very disappointed!
I think this goes with out saying but I loved my hydro facial and body scrub. The lunch was good too.
I booked the celebration spa for my 28th birthday. It was amazing service from the reception center of the hotel to the end of massage. This was such an experience. My masseuse Ms.Benita was absolutely perfect and unforgettable. With the birthday package, I’ve received a gift, a glass of champagne and a mini birthday cake. I couldn’t have asked for more. It’s definitely worth the price! Go ahead and treat yourself!!
The four seasons is one of my FAVORITE places to go to have a spa day. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the staff is so kind and accommodating. You can really make a whole day out of it coming here. You will be RELAXED!
Went for a Couples Massage, the massage was fine. It was the undisclosed up sell of services that was not mentioned prior to us that really didnt sit well with me. Was not able to use the heated area also, even after the city CoVid restrictions had been lifted along with mask mandates. Ive been to this Spa before and loved the experience, but will NOT be going back there again.
Know that you are paying for the name “Four Seasons,” not so much the actual spa treatment. If you are wanting the whole ambiance of a spa, then have at it. But if you are wanting a really good massage, this isn’t it. If I had to rank my massage I would give it a 4/10. Nice time away, but price wasn’t worth ur.
Always memorable. I have been there twice, and the service and care are excellent .
The entire spa was cold. The Relaxation room lounge chairs uncomfortable. For the sea bath the therapist tried toput me in a bathtub of cold water! No hot tub! All for around 600.00!!! Never again.re extremely UNwere extremely uncomfortable
My massage was wonderful. My experience in the relaxation room was not so wonderful. There were ants on two of the tables in the relaxation room and I didn’t notice them until after they got on me. There was also food on the floor. After I notified a staff member someone did come in and try to clean up the ants. The staff member said she sorry but that was as far as it went. I expected a better experience at the Four Seasons.
Wow, the Spa services and Gym are fantastic! Heather did a great job with the massage and was very professional. Alberto made the gym and relaxation room experience truly enjoyable. The gym is state of the art with 180 degree views of the inner harbor. I will definitely be back!
I’ve had several four seasons massages and this was was my least enjoyable one. I couldn’t reach them and it took me days to get the massage scheduled, I had to go in to book it a few hours in advance. They dont mention the required mask during the service though it’s not required anywhere else in the hotel. There was one changing room so I was late to start waiting for somewhere to change into my robe and they took the time out of my massage, I felt rushed all along and only got a couple of minutes to unwind before the masseuse knocked on the door after the massage. They have a pillow case that you breathe into where your face goes when you’re facing down which was suffocating, I was able to get them to remove it. The head rest is quite uncomfortable in general its far from the bed and not very sturdy. They dont cover your eyes when you’re on your back and there is too much light. Just wasn’t my cup of tea. Pretty building though
Great Spa, clean with good massage therapists. Beware of the outdoor pool being closed for spa guests on Friday - Sunday. Mens heated soaking tubs were closed too when I was there. Also it is extremely hard to get a hold of the spa staff on the phone. This makes booking and asking questions a huge pain.
I got an 80 minute massage with Shelly. It was the best massage of my life. Shelly was also very knowledgeable about exercise science and wellness and pretty accurately diagnosed some problems I have that are not readily apparent to the naked eye. There is no question it is extremely expensive -- extremely! -- and cost prohibitive for most of us to do regularly. My throught during the massage -- Ill come back again next month! -- evaporated when I signed the check. But the spa is great and, again, my massage was awesome.
Went for a massage overall fine. I let front desk know that add on services need better explanation so expectation and reality intersect. Also front desk should look at records of who is coming and not make generalizations and assumptions.
Had the time of life here. The massage was incredible! The facility is very serene and welcoming. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a 110 minute massage, followed by a facial, mani and pedi. I will definitely be going back.
Fabulous place for a great spa day... get a massage and enjoy the facilities all day.Steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, heated lounges, relaxation room, snacks, showers with toiletries....Bring a swimsuit if you want, but its optional and they provide you with fluffy robes n slippers.
On the top of the 4 Seasons, we have the best visit card of the city: The Bygone. Every time I have friends visiting, I make sure to take them here, and I never regretted it!
Upon arrival at the spa the guy behind the check in counter was not very welcoming and my questions were answered very short and I had the feeling as if I was a bother to him being there. I expected a pleasant experience when coming into and leaving the spa being a place that is supposed to be relaxing but found my self anything but relaxed... very disappointed in my visit .
Have tried for 2 days to get a hold of anyone at the spa to book a service and have left my name and telephone number and was told they would prioritize my call. Still nothing. Not the service I would expect form a luxury hotel and have taken my business elsewhere.
Spa front desk is entitled and rude. Terrible customer service. Is disappointing as the spa is beautiful. Really takes away from the experience of a relaxing day.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Spa was wonderful. Mario was the BEST!
Spa services are amazing! Book early in the day to fully enjoy all the amenities it gives you access to.
Absolutely amazing experience and the service was phenomenal. Did a couples massage with my fiancé and it was perfect
Great spa. Just need the full heat experience reopened!
Excellent massage with 5 star treatment from check-in to departure. A Mothers Day bonanza!
This was a very good experience. The staff was great. Very skill and thoughtful. Cant wait to go back
Amazing. Service. Time. Quality of food! I’ll be back next week and weekly :)
Very happy with facial treatments. Feels safe with all covid precautions.
Love this spa, had the best facial there.

Alright
Awesome!!!
Great service
The building is clean and prepared for psychological comfort. The reception staff, nurses, Dr. Talal Belkhail, and Dr. Stander are distinguished and have an excellent crew.
