The Reserve

This was a solid club overall and the entrance fee was around $20 I believe with a great crowd overall.The location is very large with two main rooms, hip hop and Latin/dance. There wasn’t too much of a line and it got good later in the night around 11:30. Dress code was pretty lax but fashionable and it’s a solid location. Service was cool and our bartender Clarissa was very accommodating.I’d definitely come back again. Parking is very limited and Uber is recommended.

Super fun night, went to visit a friend in Cali, got in for free. The drinks were so good! We danced all night. Music Latin! Great vibes.

The venue itself Is a vibe two rooms with a possibility of three 4 bars within the two rooms its a place where as long as it has good promoters

To sum it all up… DisappointedGin and Tonic $16! And did not even taste good.Two very small dance floors that get even smaller whoever thought it was a good idea to pay to sit in the sofas. DJ for both Latin and Hip Hop sucked. Ambiance was depressing. Bouncers push you to let the VIPs through. First and last time I go there.

My good friend was roofied at this bar a couple nights ago. The female bartender took a long time to pour her drink. When she did pour it, she poured it below the bar (out of sight). My friend then collapsed on the dance floor. Multiple men tried to grab her off the floor and take her away. Thankfully, her 2 guy friends fought the guys off. Scary place. Should be shut down. Human trafficking runs rampant.

I just got back from an out of town trip and find out my sister had visited this venue on Friday night 7/12/24 and only had two shots. She said she found it strange that the bartender walked away to pour the second shot and gave it to her directly in her hand. Soon after her friends noticed that she was acting strangely. Luckily she was with a group of her friends because she ended up passing out on the dance floor. They all believe she was roofied, including my sister, who couldn’t remember anything after that second shot. After reading reviews and seeing that this happened a week ago, filing a police report would be the next course of action. It’s disheartening to know that it’s been a week and it happened to another girl. Really hope management and security are looked into and take proper course of action when vetting employees

This place was lit!! The music was fire and it got super packed. The bartenders were super attentive and loaded. The drinks. Had an amazing end of the night here at this spot! Alyssa and Gissel well be the reason Ill be coming back for my birthday to celebrate. Besides them being super CUTE and HOT 🔥, their customer service was beyond excellent. I RECOMMEND THIS SPOT FOR SURE AND IM SUPER THANKFUL THAT THE SECURITY GUARD MADE US AWARE TO NOT KEEP OUR CELL PHONES IN OUR BACK POCKET WE TRULY APPRECIATE THAT!

Went here last night with friends. We got there pretty early and were 1st in GA line. Nice guy at the door said he would comp us and had us move to the express entry line. While waiting, the lines began to accumulate patrons; things went down from there. A young woman, employed at the venue with the WORST demeanor, began exclaiming that this was My line now, we were in the wrong line and directed us to the back of the GA line. Several times we tried to explain what were told, but on her power trip-pretty much ruined our night. My friend went to chat the initial guy, who then apologized for the mix-up and he asked the obtuse girl if this was going to be one of her nights. We stayed maybe 15 mins in the venue then left, as we were having trouble moving past the events earlier and reading about them drugging drinks. They really need to evaluations on whom their staffing.

I spent my 21st birthday here with my friends. It was the four of us. At the beginning we had a great time and we were all sitting on the couches on the lower level right next to the bar. Then we noticed out of no where these two random girls wanted to sit with us and we were like sure why not? It was out of no where. So time by, my friend was starting to act weird so we left. We came to find out the random girl roofied my friend’s drink with LSD. Be careful coming to this club it’s really sketchy in there especially the location is in DTLA. I understand we let those girls sit next to us but at least management should create a safer environment.The security should at least check bags/pockets or anything that can harm someone. Not cool…

Did not feel safe here my friends got a knife pulled on them try to protect me after sadly being wronged by getting roofied from a girl bar tender. she poured my drink behind the counter out of sight and took forever in doing this at this club and shortly after recieving drink i became completely unconscious very sketchy area and I will never be going back I hope other girls see this and dont come here and if they must attend this club to go with the most absolute caution and watch them pour your drinks and dont take your eyes off them for even a second .

Ok so it doesnt seem anyone else is really breaking down the experience of how it is in here so Ill do that.The entrance fee is $20, kind of expected but still expensive. Inside is very nice, I will say that the venue is beautiful inside and has some real nice decor, definitely feels premium. Inside though, very sloppy drinking people and kind of shady it can feel like at times.The 1st room is CROWDED and I mean packed like sardines you can barley barley move and its hot, humid and smells,but they play the better dancing music. The Second room theres a lot more room to breathe but the music is not good to to dance to ( think tyga, YG etc.The bar right as you walk down the stairs from the entrance took FOREVER. The bartender was really slow, took like 20 minutes for her to get through the 5 customers in front of us. Friends and I left and found out to go through the 1st room to the 2nd room and go to that bar as its bigger and theres more bartenders.Parking is non existent so take an UberWill say theres plenty of food trucks and other food open late when we left which was 2:00am.

Went to an event here thinking Trippie Redd was going to perform, he did not. Stood there for over 6 hours waiting. DJ was awful, only played Tik Tok songs. Sad to think clubs like this need to scam & false advertise to get more income. Hoping this one star brings down their rating because we aren’t getting wasted time and money back. Greedy people. Greedy club. Never returning.

Last night an after party was hosted and a large percentage of the devoted fan base wore shorts of all variations. However, the man in the black suit who pre-screens IDs was selective profiling patrons and refusing to allow entry to others in shorts not unless they are booking a table or change their attire. There was no posting of this requirement. Nor is it fair to selectively subject some and not all patrons to the same rule.

The club is great has good music. It has 2 djs playing English on one side and Spanish in another section side. Drinks are about $15+. Entrance is $20. They have small restrooms. They also have this photo section area with cool chairs, which is cool, but I didn’t receive my photos. Overall good experience.

Great place, ambiance is awesome, plenty of room to dance, and drinks are reasonably priced. Recommend for a night out.

This was the worst experience ever! My phone was stolen, and all the staff did was just keep asking me to stand still and point where I noticed when it was gone. I paid a pricey fee to get in this crowded pick-pocket hot spot! And now I’m spending more money to replace my phone that was stolen at this night club. Clearly if it’s too crowded you shouldn’t be letting that many people in.I understand that it’s not your fault for phones being stolen, but the staff look pretty clueless on how to make their guests feel better or at least compensate their visit fee. This is getting out of hand, and clubs need to do better in controlling their crowds.Aside from my phone being stolen, it was hard to breath in the dancing areas, not even air flow or ventilation to the dance area in particular. The bar service was so poor. Unless you’re a guy with aggressive approach, these servers won’t even look you. So many people kept calling at the girls serving and they didn’t bother seeing who was there first. Otherwise the music is great, place is okay. Long lines just like any other place. Pricey entrance fees.

Had a great time on my birthday celebrating with friends we all looked so good i like that there is two DJ’s in different rooms very fun times i will be going back soon !

Great nightclub. The decor and bank vault theme was super cool and the music and dance floor met all of our expectations. The bouncer at the door however seemed a little too on his high horse--one of my friends was told she was not allowed to enter because she presented her debit card rather than her ID. While I understand that this may have been interpreted the wrong way by the bouncer, it was a simple mistake as we were rushed to grab our IDs as we approached the line. This is a nightclub at the end of the day, perhaps the bouncers can lower their guard for small mishaps like this one.

They play different music in two different rooms. One is usually Spanish reggaeton And hip hop in the other.

Would have been nice if the bouncers wont rip you off of your money, so we were already inside when we decided to go out at about 1:30am. We asked the staff by the door if we can go out and come back real quick. He said “yes!” and stamped our wrist. When we got back, bouncer said we have to pay again for entrance. Are you for real?! We showed the stamped and the guy by the door pretended like he didn’t say “yes, you can come back thus the stamp.” Oh and different bartenders have different prices for their drinks. Lol Ive been getting the same drink all evening and they have different prices. I’m not drunk you pos!

THIS PLACE IS SOOOO COOL 😍😍, I love love love the music, is so cool they have 2 stages with 2 different music in one same night club, Reggaeton and rhythms latinos and Hip hop in the other side, the personal at the door is super friendly and everyone that works there, I had such a great time with my friends and we will be there often, cover is affordable and I noticed they have cool promos, I got my tickets online super easy! 10/10 🤩

I am not one to leave reviews, but I had such a great time last night here, so I had to take the time! From the staff being so nice upon arrival, looking out for us women with our purses, to the beautiful space(s) to vibe in with large groups. Id def want to celebrate a special occasion here. Came for a hip-hop show with Lil Eazy-E on the bill and apparently they have a strict dress code, something they failed to mention in any of their flyers. Bookers! If you plan on booking your next show here, you must really hate your fans. We dont recommend this place.

I would definitely think twice about going to this club. So many bad reviews about phones being stolen within the premises. Just 2 weeks ago, my friends and I got assaulted and robbed while leaving the establishment. We made a report to the police and they did state that these type of cases have been ongoing in this specific location and others nearby. Be careful.

Best place in DTLA, hands down. The environment was fun and active. Best bottle service I have ever had. I highly recommend anyone to check this out!

If I could put zero stars I would. Don’t come here unless you want to get robbed!!!!The amount of phones\wallets that get stolen here in ONE night is ridiculous, the security guards won’t do anything but search the dance floor with their useless flashlight and tell you to call their lost and found number. Do better or shut it down.My phone was taken out of my zipped bag that was on my shoulder, while I was on the dance floor. This was my first time at this club and my last. What’s the purpose of even having security guards if they can’t see people taking phones and wallets out of peoples bags and pockets. They should at the VERY LEAST warn people that a lot of theft happens inside their club before going in. The whole place is sus af.

DO NOT GO HERE. Criminal establishment. Read reviews. Phones get stolen like crazy here. We saw people scouting the dance floor and would go in and swoop phones. Security was notified and they did nothing about itThis makes me believe the club is in on it, at least covers for it. If they wanted to stop the problem an undercover cop for 5 minutes would do the trick.Police report has been made and hopefully they shut this shady place down. In the meantime DO NOT GO. I went here last night with some friends and both she and I had our phones and wallets stolen! Now that Im reading through these reviews it looks like this is a trend here. STAY FAR AWAY. The bouncers were also extremely unhelpful. I see that the owner is responding to these review. How can you not recognize that your clients are coming here and getting robbed and then obviously not do anything about it?????? This is absurd. Will never come back and will tell everyone I meet to never go there.

I had one of my best nights out in LA here! I got in free because there was a free RSVP before 11 thing I filled out on their site. The inside of this club is actually really nice! It looks like an actual bank inside complete with faux safety deposit boxes and faux coins and gold bars seen clearly through the glass tiles on the floor.Theres three huge rooms, each with a different DJ and bar that give their own vibe. The innermost room is hip hop, the middle one I think was caribbean/latin music and the first one was more pop? There was also a selfie booth in there which was a nice touch.Bathrooms were clean and attended to well into the night. Id say the drinks werent unreasonably priced either.

I went to this club a few nights ago and the girl restroom was super pack and a nice man let me go inside the mens restroom. He made sure no men were inside while using , this man also guarded the door making sure only us women were going inside! Restroom was also super clean . Overall it was a 10/10 experience .

Bad service. We got a table and bottle service. This shorter Hispanic guy was walking with the girls for bottle service. I was trying to scoot around ans he was mad I didnt stop. When I got to our bottle service he stopped. Damage was done. Trash. I apologize and tried to walk around and Still made a issue. They need better training period

Got robbed here. So did at least 5 other girls I ran into. Bouncers did absolutely nothing. While trying to navigate around the bar to see who pickpocketed me several men kept trying to grab my hand or arm to pull me towards them.For as many security guards as they have, they sure dont have a lot of security.I called and emailed the reserve multiple times per the bouncers suggestion. Its been a week today and there still has not been any response.There are better places to go that wont get you robbed blind.

Best club i’ve ever been to in downtown los angeles. Would definitely recommend to my friends. The music was great and I stayed all night.

Used to enjoy coming here with friends but I could say it has gotten worse. A lot of crime in the area and inside the place itself and the bouncers and employees could care less.After reading SEVERAL reviews I guess it’s a pretty common occurrence at this place.Never going back .

If I could leave less than one star, I definitely would! I can say with absolute certainty that this an establishment I will never return to, neither will any of my friends, family, co-workers, or acquaintances. I am leaving this review so that others can be aware of what truly goes on here.I came to this night club with several friends (easily filling over a quarter of the club as there was 20+ of us). Long story short, I was verbally assaulted by one of the bartenders, Zach, and denied service. Zach used threatening language, profanity, and attempted to intimidate me with his stance and demeanor. He continued to brazenly verbally attack me and use threatening language toward me until two males that I was with noticed what was going on, approached the bar and had to ask him to step away from me.Please understand, this all began because I did not leave a tip on my receipt. This was after Zach charged me twice as much as the previous bartenders had. Outside of a tip not being mandatory, note, in my party alone, several hundreds of dollars were spent at the bar. Several times we tipped the bartenders very handsomely and paid hefty bills to bar/The Reserve as a whole. From the beginning, Zach was discriminatory -- he is charging patrons differently after looking at them and then proceeds to verbally assault me for not tipping him (note: he didnt even make my drinks, another bartender did).When speaking with the manager, he offered free drinks to myself and a few others from my party to make it up to us. Considering I was just verbally assaulted and threatened by one of his employees, it felt half hearted and like a cop-out resolution. I am only writing this review so others can see what is tolerated by this establishment. Apparently, employees are protected and allowed to continue working after verbally assaulting, threatening, discriminating against, and attacking patrons. There were several witnesses to this scenario, too. Disheartening.I used to frequent this establishment often over the last few years. What was supposed to be a celebratory Saturday turned into a nightmare. I left feeling afraid, after being threatened, verbally assaulted, and discriminated against. I corralled my party and left. If this is how this establishment is ran and this is the behavior that is deemed acceptable, they should be shut down. I have already contacted the BBB. Everyone please stay safe at this night club. Very questionable employees and behavior.

Five stars for the amazing girls working the bar that kept the drinks flowing all night. Especially the beautiful Lisa/Linda (Im sorry I dont remember your name I was drunk.) The music and over all vibe was really fun.

The establishment is gorgeous. Very clean and overall really cool, hence why I’m giving 2 stars. 2 star deducted because the girls working the door are so, so rude. I even heard from a group ahead of us while in line one of the girls was being mean to them as well. another star deducted because inside the establishment, the men walking around are pushy and rude as well. Yelling at people to make way. Really a vibe kill. I will say the only nice people here were the ladies keeping the bathroom clean and the coat check ladies. I probably won’t return because if I’m spending my money in an establishment I at least want to get the same respect I give.

Let me preface by saying, I had a great time with my friends and the DJ was great. However, the staff has a lot of work to do. First, we had signed up on the guest list and their website stated if we arrived before 11, we would get in for free. Well, we arrived at 10:45 and were told that we had to pay $5. By all means, I dont mind paying $5, but its the lies and false information presented by the location that upsets me. Well, I paid and got my hand stamped and walked to the dance floor. There is zero reception in the dance floor/ bar areas so I found myself stepping out to communicate with friends who were on their way and the staff were incredibly rude when I needed to talk to my friends. Do they not realize there is zero reception and people need to communicate with folks? And that if my friends cant find me, they cant come in and thus cannot spend money on drinks? Long story longer, they need to do better. There is no reception, but the DJ was poppin.

DON’T GO THERE.Overpriced I paid 42$ for 2 cheap rhum and coke. Went for a smoke at 1:15 and they didn’t let us come in after even if it’s closing at 2 AM. They kicked everyone out at 1:30.

This place has the rudest, most unprofessional staff ever, they are involved with the crime happening outside their business our friends got assaulted and robbed last night and they did not try to help they let it happen and the owner doesn’t even try to hide the fact that he couldn’t care less about the customers complaints and worries with the way they keep responding to peoples reviews! they should shut this place down

Had a great time at this club the first time. On my way back to enjoy the great music (hip hop/Latin hits), atmosphere (friendly staff/ bartenders) and classy ambiance (decor is relaxed and semi classy).

I went last weekend had a good time until I lost my wallet and the club hasn’t not even got back at me about my wallet. I emailed them at their website .No response even though I messaged them on instragram they read my messsge. Horrible professionalism. Don’t go to this club they don’t care if your belongings get lost . Overpriced club not worth my time better clubs in L.A

This club makes up the policy as they go. I am disabled and cant wear heels . The dress code is posted outside the club anf thr security clearly cant read since they told me I couldnt enter the club in sandals which was not listed on the sign. I was told by Anthony a security guard that my feet could be injured because my toes are out

Was there early for an event before they opened, left my jacket at one of the tables, once it went GA I went over to the table to get it it was now where to be found. Employees were entirely unhelpful and finally helped me 30 minutes later. Completely rude employees not worth spending your money here. Was ready to buy a table until they were so rude.

What a horrible experience. This place is discriminating and injustice. They let my boyfriend enter this place, pay a cover and within 5 minutes of being at this facility they kicked him out. My boyfriend has a disability, he suffers from narcolepsy. It is understandable because most people are not aware of narcolepsy and do not know the precautions, so I went to Daniel Abergo head of security to explain the situation and gave him awareness on the disability my boyfriend suffers from. He asked us for medical records to prove of this disability- when we showed him the medical record he looked at it and still kicked us out. He did not care. I asked him that maybe he should leave a list of disabilities at the door that are not welcome at Reserve, he said that would be a long list ... wow I was stunned of the discrimination. Not only did they embarrassed us but they stole from us. It is sad to see that something like this can happen in California, we are suppose to be different and not judge and accept all kinds of people.We will not be coming back to Reserve. They should really educate their staff and security on people who do suffer from a disability. And not to run off topic, but maybe they should have their security trolling for the men on the dance floor groping women than trolling for an innocent bystander dancing in the corner with no one around. #justsayin

PHONE STOLEN.I have been here twice with friends and every time someone has gotten there phone stolen. Once in June 2021 and now again November 2022. At first we thought it was just by accident. But this time 2 of my friends got their phone stolen. Do not go here.

This place was so much fun! They have the best music ever. The cover fee is usually 10 dollars or if you get on the guest list its free. They have good drinks, and places to sit. Loved it!

I lost my phone at the reserve and this incredibly kind worker Fernando stayed after club closing time to get my phone to me. Thank you so much for providing a safe space.

Beautiful venue built inside an old bank headquarters. Multiple vaults, exposed concrete, and safe deposit boxes line the walls. The bar in the dividing vault is a work of art. Drinks were well made. Im a whiskey guy, but they had fancy cocktails available as well. Only downside to the venue is you are in a vault which makes cell service unreliable. This is a review for the venue, not an event there.

Main reason why i liked this place was for the great drinks and great music. Plus tonight i got to see ty dolla sign.. i must say horrible service from that bartender on the latin side the girl with the bun. Made our cadillacs tasted like sour juice tbh. I never like to make a scene drama etc.. but this was wrong had to say something. Bartender pretty much didnt care. Manager took forever to locate.. horrible experience will never go back again period.

Pros: did not card, fast line, music and vibe was goodCons: friends phone was stolen (PLEASE GUARD YOUR BELONGINGS, PEOPLE DEDICATE THEIR LIVES TO STEAL), drinks are expensive, there was one bartender, the dance room is so small and the ‘VIP’ isn’t not worth it.

My friend was assaulted inside and the security team did nothing to stop it. Even the manager stated they can’t do anything. Its your establishment, it’s your security, someone should have done something. Hire new staff.

The night began well. Good crowd w/good vibes until 11 p.m., then you had the P-Diddy wannabe, self proclaimed rock stars rolling in who jumped over the counter for a drink (motivated to impress the half naked female bartenders). Such heroic shenanigans concluded my night at 11:30 p.m. To accomedate the guests, I would recommend the facility to hire better bartenders/DJ and invite the ladies to just focus on mingling with the crowd behind the bar (instead of serving drinks). Also for the sake of over priced drinks eliminate the entry fee.Given the potential, I wish the owner(s) & staff of the facility best of luck.

DON’T COME HERE!!! As an Angelino who is always out and about believe me they are way better clubs / lounges in LA. To start with the line was ridiculous. The drinks are insipid and inconsistent. The music and atmosphere is blah. Worse of all the staff is rude. I’ve never been treated so rudely. I was sitting down in a table with a friend when a buss boy came over and started clearing the table as if they were going to use it for bottle service however it was not communicated to us. Minutes later a hostess comes by with a group and tells me to move. She said she was so and so and that she could kick me out. What happened to customer service??? I paid to be there like anybody else and was consuming so I should’ve not been spoken to in that way. I understand how bottle service works and if I would’ve been spoken to in a professional and courteous manner I wouldn’t be writing this review today. The staff needs better training and communication skills. I left because like I said they are so many places to go to in LA. I will not support or spend money in an establishment who doesn’t train their staff or care about the customers. I spoke to Jamie, a manager but she didn’t do anything about it.

Cool staff, gorgeous place and awesome DJs!! There is no cellphone reception as its located inside the first original Bank Of America from 1932... However, the venue provides a free wifi under The Reserve with no password needed! ;)

Place is ok but they need to get better DJs! They were horrible last night(may13). They could use better air conditioning too. Wouldnt go back tho.

I wanted to like it, came in a suit and tie, cool building, bad music, then I paid 13 bucks for an old fashioned and it was in a plastic glass. Boom! just dropped to 50%. Then in the back room, 2 girl djs started spinning some Burningman dirt and they were tearing it up! Maybe it was a 20 minute guest appearance. They were all of a sudden replaced by 4 Jazzy Jeff looking kooks spinning wheels of dookie. Ruined it! Such and upscale, great building full of un-downtown kooks that dont even own suits or have ever had a drink in a glass. The djs should be in weed stores on Venice boardwalk. Sorry you guys, step it up like 900 steps and you would be golden. Get it, like the gold under the floor? Seriously, step it up, make downtown better.

First time coming to this club and I got to say the latin DJ was great! The hip hop side was okay.

The bank vault vibe was cool. Went here for a concert though and the sound is terrible. Probably doesnt help that the walls, floor and ceiling are all either concrete or metal. Id like to go back and check out the other areas of the club though!

The security is very rude if youre black. They wont let you in if you dont follow their dress code. Even if youre presentable and well put together.

Very cool underground type club with cubby holes and tables everywhere. I went for Grammy after party so I think it was arranged differently than usual. It worked out better than I thought and had a good time.

I have been to a number of late night spots in LA and this is by far the worst place I have ever been to. Security is constantly trying to scam you out of your money and the bartenders will use any excuse to push premium bottles on you without consent. Avoid The Reserve at all costs.

My friend got her phone stolen out of her zipped purse just like the other reviews say and they didn’t care or do anything about it, don’t go here

This place has a problem with pick pocketers, I’ve known several people to get there phones stolen myself included. Just be aware and keep and eye on your things.

The most hideous experience I have ever had at a night club. Cool vibe but the music and staff were both something better avoided.

I went for Hyphy Night the other week and got there super late and the energy was still upbeat!!! Everyone was dancing and vibing and I had an absolute blast.

Its pretty..but its so many different rooms with sounds from all of them just sorta ends up mixing it all up.

Horrible place. I bought tickets at the door and they charged me $100 more than they were suppose to! It was suppose to be $75 for two people, which is $150 instead they charged me $250!!!! I’ve been calling and calling, sending them emails and got no response!

Had a company party here, the venue is stuffy, claustrophobic and hard to exit out of. Did not enjoy it much at all.

Two environments with different musical styles. The decor is cool. People dance excitedly and explicitly perform their fantasies. There is special service for birthday parties. The quality of the sound equipment is very good.

They discriminated against me for being Nicaraguan, when they asked for my ID, obviously I showed the one from my country, there was no way I could carry my passport, and they told me it was a new administration. (Previously I come every time I come on vacation) a man made me wait a long time, he sent me to call another and then they murmured that I didnt know that he only knew the Id of Guatemala and Mexico. They wasted my time and then told me no, we dont know this Id.
