I went on a Thursday night and me and my 3 other people had a club and dj to ourselves aside from the few straglers that came in 😊😊 so forsure I know we went on the wrong night so I cant give a full review, bartender was cool, the manager and owner were super cool 😎 thank you for the night we had.

I havent been to this place in over 10 years and its just as good as it was back then. Theres a $25 cover charge and what I loved about it is that you could wear shoes and something comfortable and still dance your booty off and have a good time! Drinks were really good and reasonably priced and the music was fire 🔥🚒 definitely recommend 💯 bring your friends and enjoy the night. There was a gang of papasotes 😉😜 options... Options 😆

Visited Mezcal with a group of friends and we all had an absolutely amazing time. As someone who is used to the finer things in life, Mezcal really understood the assignment! Bottle service was excellent, the ambience was breathtaking and the music was such a great touch to an already phenomenal night. Visit NOW!

Terrible drinks and attitude. Atmosphere is good but mixers are low quality and drinks are overpriced. Bartenders are in it to rip you off.

I’m not from riverside, but it was my first time here. Cover charge at the time was $25 & I definitely think it’s worth it for the crowd(very casual attire).It’s a great place to get your dance on for salsa, bachata, banda, hip hop, depending on the DJ outside patio area. The indoor club is definitely more Vegas style music edm. I’d definitely come back again.

The manager discriminated against my friend who was just getting in line to get into Mezcal. Then they played a game of who’s the manager and wouldn’t give us a straight answer. We just wanted to know the reason and they continued to harass her saying he was gonna have her walk around the block with him and only him in order to test if she’s sober. What the heck? She wasn’t even doing anything wrong.Then we tried to go get food at their sister restaurant and the waiter took our food and drink order. A couple minutes later another lady said that we can’t serve you guys drinks because the “manager” told us not to serve them to you guys. Again we asked where’s the manager and she said the guy from Mezcal and so we eventually have the guy from Mezcal who is NOT the actual manager and he said he didn’t say anything?? Why play freaking games?Crooks. They’re all a bunch of crooks that are full of themselves. Absolutely no principle and so unprofessional. Being a club and restaurant security and all up on your high horse? Power trip for sure for a mediocre club. It’s ridiculous. Go to Proabition or Downtown Experiment.

This place is a joke. Overpriced everything. The worst service. Shady business practices with adding tips unknowingly. Dirty bar with gnats in liquor bottles. Small dance floor and repeating music. This place needs Bar Rescue or to be put out of business.

Food is ok and is priced and is super hot inside they dont have the air conditioner and since we got there we ask to change the TV channel to see the Dodgers game and they never change it then never again!!And you need to pay for parking 🙄 😒

The place was ok but the DJ seemed like he ran out of songs because he played a few songs that was already played. I did like Raggaton in one room and Hip Hop in the other but it would be more better if they blend Raggae into it.

Wow. What bad customer service. Dont know what prejudice the suit had against us but it definitely detracted from the experience from an otherwise beautiful ambiance. Came to watch a UFC fight while visiting Riverside on a business trip for the first time and we were so looking forward to this outing but he definitely put a wet blanket on the experience for us. His rudeness was the center of our conversation.Good mezcal and beautiful facility otherwise. Wouldnt come back or recommend anyone though. Hope the owner knows his employees a little better. We own a business as well and the way they treated us was unacceptable.

Over price cover fee, went with a group of 5 friends and left right after. Not worth the price or drinks. Staff is rude and the environment was not great. I wish I had seen the reviews before going and spending my money there.

I went with my friends (5 total) on Thursday night and the security guards were very respectful and nice except for the female in the front. She wanted to charge extra to get in and didn’t allow us to sign up for the free entrance before 10:30 (guest list) when it was still 10:20. It’s always the females being rude and mean to other females. If you’re around the area I recommend “downtown Experiment” . The music sounded way better and with a great vibe!

Be careful when you are paying to get in. Girl who was working tried to pocket our cash and charge us extra when she thought we were not paying attention. When I brought it to their attention I was called rude by the MANAGER for calling them out on it bc they tried to accuse me of lying. Also, staff not very friendly to African Americans!! Overall vibes were terrible from staff. Dj didn’t know what vibe to stick with and same songs on repeat. Security supper rude and aggressive when checking my tiny purse. terrible terrible terrible.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, to start off if you want to have a great time I would not come here. Bartenders are rude and try to add tips when paying with card. I was charged 50$ for 2 drinks, didnt realize till a few minutes later and went back to ask for the receipt turns out they added tip with out my consent.. dj also had the same music on repeat, was very disappointed.

Homophobic asfuck!! Dont come here if you want to have fun with your friends especially if any of you are lgbtq. They aggressively kicked my friend out because he was accidentally bumping into too many people. With a dance floor so small of course youre going to bump into people everybody was I got karate chopped in the head but the security didnt catch that. No the real reason my friend was kicked out was because he was dancing with HIS BOYFRIEND!! Yes they were grinding and a little tipsy but so was everybody else in the tiny little dance floor. The drinks were MIDD super overpriced, music was lame and womens restroom line went out the door. Never coming back here.

Takes like 5 minutes to get your drinks from bartender sometimes more.Dancing floor is very very small. But when get very crowded you can’t even walk and you decide to go home.🍺THEY don’t give you Bottles or Cristal glass. They use PLASTIC GLASS for your beer and lose flavor🤔 taste bad.

Readers! Viewers! Also read the last few reviews. We have truth to this club! Bad service! so.. to get to the point, I ordered my first couple drinks and it cost $38. Returned an half hour later to purchase the same 2 drinks and a bartender named Sarah tried to charge me $68. I told her the first purchase was said price, she then stated that the 1st bartender made a mistake. If you ask me, that’s a large mistake. And considering that the entrance fee is $30 per person to get in, you would think that the prices are convenient. This took place on Saturday night 6/11/2022. FYI, music is good. Service? You will not be happy.

Nice spot to hang out on the weekend. Nothing but good vibes. The security is on top of there ish so you feel safe. They have a clean bathroom and someone is in there making sure it stays that way only thing just bring in a Lil tip. The drinks are good and strong. Its not the biggest place tho but they do have a vip louge.

I had a negative experience at the club because I felt like the security (boss) was treating me unfairly. I felt like I was being judged based on my appearance, which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope that the club can improve their security practices to ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe.

This place is not worth it. Everything is overpriced. We payed for a VIP table experience and we barely fit in the table. My knees were hitting the table uncomfortably. Staff is rude to customers. Also, they should not let so many people come into such a small place. Way too crowded, we could barely get to the restroom because of all the people. Overall bad experience but I came with fun people and that’s what made the night not the place. Never coming back here again.

Didnt liked this club, was my first time and las time. First the cover: $30 dollars? Really? By get in a small club and dirty floors. VIP section very dirty.Drinks: $16 dollars for a small drink and almost water added like. Its expensive and small and dirty club. Dont recommend, there are best clubs in the north side of the same street, or in redlands much better in environment, prices and music, and the girls are more friendly, Never back again. One of the worst clubs in Riverside, the staff and security are rude. And you got to watch out for the blonde girl outside. She will try to be sneaky and add the highest tip without your consent.

Way overpriced cover charge, the venue is not worth $25. Super packed and tiny dance floors, you can barely move around anywhere. Main floor DJ was good, the outside DJ only plays reggaetón, it gets old. Drinks are way overpriced. Bouncers are hot heads. First and last time ever going.

Would leave a 0 star but couldn’t the AMF just take like juice for me and my wife. Thought it was AMF for a reason. They would not change out the drink or put more alcohol due to it. My wife asked like three other people and they all said the same thing. Atmosphere is okay but it’s always packed. Since the AMF didn’t really have an affect we asked them what was the strongest drink and it was the trash can but that was pretty much the same. Two AMFs were like 34$ the trash can alone was 20$. Pre game hella hard so you don’t waste your money on garbage.

Every single time I buy a drink the bartender outside with blonde hair ALWAYS tries to be sneaky and add the highest amount of tip without my consent. She even looks up at you super fast to make sure you don’t see her do it, it’s ridiculous lmao

They almost kicked me out for not paying for hand sanitizer tf is that about why do I have to pay for that when there a pandemic never going here again not recommending this place they wanna charge you for anything you can just stand at the bar to drink you’re drink they ask you to move if you at the bar for no reason even if you’re a paying costumer with drinks on top of that some one fired a gun never going back here worst experience at a club every the security makes the experience bad.

WORSE CLUB IN DOWNTOWN RIVERSIDE!! 👎🏽Extremely overrated.-First, staff always have an attitude with the customers. The bartenders appeared burn out. No professionalism.-Second, the gentleman in the men restroom is unprofessional and hurries people to finish their business. He makes rude remarks.-Third, the DJs repeats the same songs and doesn’t have an updated playlist. Random songs and no mainstream.

I wish I could give this location zero stars. This location, Mezcal in Riverside CA absolutely discriminates against women. Immediately kicked out of here after waiting for my boyfriend in a corner. It was extremely uncomfortable and disgusting. I have been to other mezcal locations before that have had so much more respect for women. I hate this location and will never come here again. I would rather go to Fullerton than party in this area ever again after being treated the way I was here.

Horrible customer service. We paid $1500 for the VIP room and treatment and were treated very bad. One od the guards told one of our females that she was irrelevant because she was a female. We will never go there again. If you can avoid that place plz do. Also the floor in the VIP room is sticky so for $1500 I expected way better cleaning and treatment. 💩💩💩💩💩💩

After driving 4 hours for a work event, a coworker and I assumed this place would be great! After paying 60 dollars to enter (total cost) we entered the bar, paid 25 for two basic beers and were immediately approached (before even grabbing drinks) to step away from the bar as we could not stand there. After moving away we saw a open area to hang out only to be told to stand outside. After about 5 min and 100 dollars later, I asked if I could just be reimbursed for entry and we could leave as we didnt want to be stuck outside standing since we were not allowed to be indoors unless we ordered a drink or were in the center of dance floor: manager Sergio Alvarez stated owner doesnt do that nor would he speak with me and only offered a beer instead of allowing us to just get money back and go on our way. He stated Miguel Baeza the owner was too busy and that he does not refund money! Also overheard women stating they had been almost roofied at this location w nothing to be done! I can say this establishment is one to stay away from! Awful management, money hungry and lack of taste in music: will never return and will let others visiting in the area to stay away from this place.

High hopes after seeing the menu but very disappointed in the food and 2nd half of service. Nice food presentation but food was not good. We lost our waitress on the 2nd half immediately after getting our apps and did not see her until we got our check. Had to flag down another waiter to get a drink refill after waiting so long. Looks like the table sequence was wrong as well as the runners did not know where to deliver the food and kept asking each table in our area who ordered what. As soon as I got my check, I packed up and went up front to pay since I probably wouldnt see our waitress again. They took my card and bill and waited another 15 minutes for them to process the payment. Not sure what is going on there but they need help for sure. 2 stars because of the waiter that helped us in the other section and checked up on us after he saw we were pretty much abandoned

I’ve come here multiple times with a fairly large group of friends, always on the guest list to try and get in for free before 10:30. Each time we get to the front at like 10:32 and they won’t let us in without charging $20 each. Even when we were “hosts” for the night.Easily we were bringing 15-20 people each time and advertised their club on social media to go to for the night, but we decided to leave and go to any other club in the area for half the entrance fee price.One time we even got there before 10:30 and they still wouldn’t let us in!This place is seriously just in it to gouge their customers with expensive entrance fees, expensive drinks, while providing the smallest club in Riverside and the worst music.

The overall vibe of the place isnt very chill. Security are hotheads and act like they are secret service really just looking for a fight. The bartenders were okay but a little overwhelmed at times. If it were not for the security high on their horse I would definitely give this place 5 stars.

Super expensive!!! The only good thing is the music other than that its expensive and the drinks are super measured and watered down and not worth it. I would recommend looking for a different place. Its 30 dollars to go in and the drinks are minimum 13 dollars. With the entrance and two drinks you can definitely find something better. Read the reviews y’all. I’m very disappointed with this place. Story: I was with three friends. A friend and I paid $25 each to get in. Then, one friend was not allowed to get in. So I did not want to stay there and asked for reimbursement. They said no. They claimed that I was there for more than 30 minutes. How??? I left the place leaving $50 behind. It’s really not about the money. It is about the way they handle the situation. No class at all. I will never go back to this place.

3 Stars for the music , it was good mexican music they have two different dance floors, I will say it’s a little pricey compared to the other clubs here but the music is good compared to the other clubs around and the atmosphere is nice they have outdoor and indoor dance floor which is perfect cause covid. Got kicked out and wasn’t allowed to go back in .. they said we weren’t sober, but a security guard gave us a sobriety test, made us walk in a line and spin. We passed, we were good. yet they didn’t even bother to check us again to be let back in. Just disregarded usRidiculous, waste of money , first time going out in riverside , and last.

First timer at this past chips and salsa sunday. The DJ kept interrupting the best parts of the songs which was latest english hip hop (nothing to do with salsa) and when it was time to get some drinks one of the bartenders was very rude about a cup of water after buying 3 alcoholic drinks from her. Thankfully one of the other bartenders went out of her way to help us, because of her there getting 2 stars instead of 1. The place is small so it got very crowded and the dancefloor messy. As a paying customer no one should get rejected or have a 40+min wait for a small a** cup of water, fix that.

Came here for brunch!! Such a cute vibe loved the food and the experience! 5/5 for brunch service! Came again for dinner a few weeks later service was a 3/5 but the food and drinks were amazing! Great place will go again!

It was my first time being there. First of all they have no hostess or someone to greet you as you come in which is fine just have to wait until someone sees you to tell you, to sit where you like. Second they only have one server working for the whole restaurant, and then they present that to you like its your problem or youre supposed to be understanding of it. Third they ran out of rice because they day before it was cinco de Mayo, not an excuse but Ill take it. My nonalchohlic and Alcoholic beverages took forever and I received no water until my food was at the table. Fourthly the food didnt have much taste or flavor or even servings like a real authentic Mexican kitchen. Now lastly I paid 100 dollars for 4 people and let me tell you I did not get 100 dollars worth of taste nor 100 dollar service. Price wasnt the issue though, everything else was.Overrated and overpriced never going back.

I never expected this... No vuelo a venir!!! I came here to celebrate my bday with my husband and they charge $50 to get in and there was 4 people inside... no DJ outside and they supposed to have an event ... they charge us 52 for 2 beers and 2 tequilas... does that sounds fun?????

The place was really lame. I seen multiple fat girls. They should install and uglydar in front like every other club does.Dont waste our time. You can go to a better club down the street for half the price of the entrance fee.

I would leave a 0 star if possible. I paid $40 per person to get in on LATIN night to play Bad Bunny and per “Levi” that was up to the DJ. Not one request was taken from me by “Levi”. I will never be returning to Mezcal.

Four of us girls came in early 10 something and we were charged 20 each. Ive never been charged to come into a average half empty club before. This is Riverside. Maybe the scene it picks up later, but it was dull so we left. The doorman said it will pick up soon and insisted we stay, we said we’ll come back later, he said he would have to charge us again...

The bar tender had an attitude, she unreasonably asked me to leave the club!! And I had just started the night and had got in 30 seconds before! They did pay us back for the cover but kinda ruined the night :/

It was nothing special for $30 entry. They were very rude kicking us out and didnt even let me sit OUTSIDE the establishment for a minute to relieve my back pain.

The place is good but I payed too much for 3 appetizers and drinks $220 and I think the AC was not working because it was super hot . I got bottle service and I also ordered beer the beer was full of black stuff inside they did not wash the beer container good..

The food is as mediocre as the customer service. This is supposed to be a mexican restaurant and the waiter didnt even know the difference between corn and flour tortillas.

I went there on Christmas Day bad service there’s no where to sit the security guard kept telling me I can’t stand by the bar when I purchased a drink that wasn’t worth it they weren’t letting me sit down saying it’s only for people who are vip It was my first time there I would never go there again

I liked the music but I think that for the price of admission and the drinks the place is not super wow. A very important point is that it was very hot and you didnt feel like dancing.

Its a place with a good atmosphere, I liked the music but the people there dont know anything about how to treat their customers at the door, they take away any item that has the initials LA. It seems like they forget that Riverside belongs to California and that the Angeles also belongs to California. I think that rule is horrible. The custodians keep interrupting you.

The place is not recommended at all! I had a bad experience in this place, a girl at the bar inside the Club was rude and with a discriminatory attitude, I paid for three drinks and I asked her if she could change one of them since that was not what she wanted. I had ordered and he threw all my drinks in the trash, calling security to remove us from the place without having done absolutely anything. I dont recommend the place
