This was great experience for me and my wife! Went for a waxing and left looking better then ever! Patricia knows her stuff when it comes to skin care and relaxing. A lovely girl named Mia set me up with a foot massager and a cup of tea before my services. And when i went in everything smelled amazing and the table was comfortable. Patricia talked to me and let me know what products I should be using to help my skin issues. She applied a small sample and by time we was done with the waxing I could see the results immediately! I went ahead and bought the product and more. Will be coming back

I found my experience here very pleasant, the ambiance and atmosphere of this spa is relaxing. I went in for a consultation spoke with Patty. She helped me understand what I needed and how I can achieve it. The prices are fit for her quality and effort, and she even showed me client results!!! I booked my appointment immediately. As a business owner myself I found her very welcoming and she works with you unlike other places, will be bringing family and friends here

Bait and switch! I saw a deal on fb that mention an unlimited deal so I called the number and they quoted me a great price.I was very excited to go in but my consultation experience was so unpleasant. Patricia was a bit aggressive and quoted misinformation. She said hair never grows back after laser which is untrue, touch-ups are always needed. She also said that her customers will not show any hair growth after three or four sessions which is unheard of. She would not clarify how long the unlimited period was or how many sessions that entailed which was sketchy to me. She ended up quoting me about $500 for six underarm sessions which is super expensive. I will not be signing up here.

Alora Wellness Spa is amazing, I went in for a waxing expecting the normal but this is truly a spa experience. You come in to this amazing aroma and get offered snacks, drinks and anything of your desire. I put on a comfy rob and was in and out and it was painless. She didn’t miss a spot and I highly recommend this place. The girl who did my waxing Zena was nice and caring the whole time! Will be coming back

Lovely place, took my girlfriend here for a nice relaxation day. The float pod was amazing! I never float (I’m muscle dense guy) so to be able to float effortlessly and just relax in the warm soothing water was amazing. My girl got a massage and she doesn’t stop asking me to come back. The owner is very welcoming and i loved the energy here.

I just had a the most wondeful deep tissue massage with Meliton! Wonderful service at this spa!I went to this salon based on location (close to my home) and for groupon price for laser hair removal.  I did my research beforehand - found they have very competitive pricing on laser hair removal.  They have you read and sign paperwork with cautions of laser hair removal and as any place can only guarantee 80 % hair removal.  They also pointed out if go thru hormonal changes - it can grow back, also even noted that lip-chin may take longer than 6 visits included in package.  Laser works best on fair skin with dark hair - do your research.I have done laser hair removal on underarm, high bikini, legs, and lip chin.  Im very pleased with results!  Im adding on additional lip chin because as they had already pointed out - that may take more treatments.I shave once a week out of habit but hardly see any hair on my legs and bikinia area now.   I really dont look at my underarm much.My friend was quite impressed with my results and wants to do her legs too.The staff is always very nice to me.  I prefer Krista for laser hair removal - She is most experienced besides owner.The owner Patty works very very hard. She does have a strong personality but I always pay for my treatments in full up front on my credit card and she has been very accommodating even when I need to change appointments.Definitely recommend for laser hair removal results!!Reminder -make sure to put on hydrocortizone after treatment - I have to do this on my legs otherwise get allergic reaction on legs after treatment - a zytec before and hydrocortisone right after treatment and  for one - two days after is the trick ;)And Melaton gives a wonderful deep tissue massage!Addition:I wrote this review 9 years ago & now after 9 years, the spa commented on my review.

Alora Spa is the most professionally run business I ever encountered. The ownership and staff are very courteous & will always do their best to make you feel comfortable. The service was excellent. I not only saw results after my sessions but I felt great. They really focus on what you need and make sure you walk out of there feeling satisfied with their services. Very warm, friendly and relaxing place. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment.

Warning!!!! The owner (Patricia) used a strong chemical without my knowledge during a facial and gave me 2 large burns on my chin. She had the audacity to say the pimples were so bad they needed to be burned. After she was done, 2 days later I looked like I tripped and fell on the sidewalk. I called to request a refund after texting pictures of my badly burned face. There was very little remorse, and a repeat of telling me how bad my skin was. I was in disbelief with the lack of empathy she showed me. Patricia would not give a full refund. She deducted for the cost of the peel that I never asked for and that burned me. Do not patronize this business!!

I was referred by a family member to Alora Spa and now my entire family goes to Pattie! When it comes to skincare I am very picky because I have sensitive skin but Pattie is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what facial treatments were good for me. Her staff are always so friendly and welcoming from the second you enter the door. I have been several times and I have not had one bad experience where I left feeling not satisfied. 1000 percent recommend

If you havent checked this place out youre seriously missing out. Patty and her staff are AMAZING. I have had quite a few services performed and every time it is 10 stars. The most amazing facial I have ever experienced was at Alora. She is an expert at laser hair removal. She is an expert at Emsculpting. The spa is SPOTLESS. The staff is warm and friendly and the owner is one of the most devoted business owners I have met. If youre looking to melt away some areas of fat that dieting and exercise havent worked - get in to see Patty.

I don’t know where to begin with the experience I have had here. Patty is amazing and she is completely honest and impeccably professional with her advice on what services I needed. For starters we did a Venus freeze on my eyes and I literally can see better and they look unbelievable. Then I decided to get rid of some fat under my chin and with one treatment I have my jawline back like I did in my 20s. It’s amazing. This is my new home away from home for sure and I would recommend her and her salon to any family member or friend. I’ve been to a lot of places and this by far is the best results and the best experience I’ve ever had !!! Next treatment is the Venus freeze in my midsection. I will keep you posted!

Had a great experience at Alora. The owner is super nice and personable, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Whenever I had a visit she took her time with me and made me feel like I was the most important client at her place. Always suggested the best treatments for me and never tried to pressure me into purchasing anything. I went to this spa yesterday and I didnt get a chance to write a review right away but might I say the fact that Im taking the time out to do this shows how much of an impression this spa left on me. I walked in and met with Patty who was going to be taking care of me. I told her how I had a slight insecurity about post acne scars I had gotten throughout the years. She recommended a laser treatment. She worked with me on how many sessions I should do. I went in with one scar in particular that was very rough and almost impossible to break through even with MD (microdermabrasion) and she broke through the thick scar tissue to get the scar to seem less apparent. She took her time on me and was so patient. Im a very nervous person when it comes to matters of pain and discomfort. She had this super strong numbing cream so I could barely feel anything. The results were phenomenal and Im so happy and so grateful I met Patty. Acne scars can make you sad, like really sad. Not only does my scar look so much better alongside the rest of the ones I have on my face... my skin felt so much better after she put this cream on my face post laser treatment. I purchased this enzyme cream thats also supposed to help get rid of dead skin to help new skin regenerate as well. Its important to also take care of the skin after treatments. I am going back for two more sessions because of course with tough acne scars you cant go once and expect your skin to completely bounce back right away. I HAVE to say that after one visit the results were insane and Im going to recommend this spa to EVERYONE I know. Im very very grateful. Words cannot express enough how appreciative I am towards patty and her work.

Alora Spa did an amazing job cryoskin slimming procedure. The staff was very professional and courteous. The results were amazing after just one session. They took very good care of me and explained the procedure before we started. Then they explained to me what would occur after we finished and what I needed to do when I got home. I would go every time for any service they provide. They are a 1st class spa.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The massage was wonderful and so relaxing that I fell asleep during my facial after. So much stress was released from my body that I slept for a full night for the first time in almost 2 weeks last night. I will definitely be returning in the future 😊

I honestly can not say how thankful I am for Patty! My mom has always gone to her and loved her, but I always had perfect skin until the mask. It has been a devastating six months as I dealt with inflammation of every part of my face covered by the mask. When I started going to Patty, my entire face was inflamed and itching. Only three treatments and a month and a half later, I feel almost back to normal. I really can’t believe it. I am so thankful!

Not sure how they got such a high rating from others because I thought their treatments were the worst Ive ever had (and I get a lot). I am angry that the gratuity wasnt optional because I wouldnt have given as much. Most spas have little snacks and water bottles -- not this one. I went early to enjoy the facilities, like sauna or hot tub --- they dont have any. And the robes are a rough sweatshirt material. Overall and huge disappointment. Just a cheap and overpriced.

The results from my laser treatment are outstanding! Patty is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable during the treatments and makes it as pain-free as possible. Ill be coming back for other services in the future!

Bought a gift certificate for the floating salt pod for my husband as a gift and he loved it. Booked an hour session and he was able to fully relax and in his words, he felt like he had the energy having slept for 8 hours and was only in the pod for an hour. He wants to do it again!

I give Patricia 5 stars I have a skin allergy 4 over a year n a half. With her expertise she was able to determine what would benefit my skin. I look fabulous. Im coming back. Highly recommend you do the same. I feel pretty

First visit to Alora last Saturday. Staff is very friendly, shop has a great atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Lisa gave me the best haircut Ive ever had!! Already recommended to a friend and she has an appointment tomorrow!!

I attended a group event with my friends this weekend at this location, we all completed a full body massage. The service was terrible, there was no organization whatsoever. The assistant was so loss, and was not able to provide any guidance regarding our service. I was provided a rope that did not fit me, and I asked the assistance to please provide a bigger rope. She stated that she did not know where the ropes where located, and left me waiting in the bathroom without any explanation. I waited for the owner and asked again for a bigger rope, her response we do not accommodate people your size. I asked for my money back, and they do not have a refund policy. We were a group of 7 ladies, this is unacceptable. I will not return.

This place is absolutely amazing. Great communication with one another. It was awesome to see my results after the sixth visit. I honestly was happy with all the workers how they treated me with respect. It was truly worth going there. I will higly recommend anyone that need any type of treatment for their face and body to make a appointment with Erica and Patty.

Cozy little place that offers many top notch services. Coolfreeze/Venus is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I saw a difference after the first procedure, but best of all it is non surgical and FDA approved. Freezing fat cells and also tightening the skin. I highly recommend to women instead of surgery. NYC technology for the fraction of the cost in New Jersey. 👍👍👍☺☺☺Staff is always welcoming and very friendly plus not many places have the owner (Patty) hand-on doing procedures herself which is a guarantee that youll get quality service every time!!!Thanks to all at Alora Spa!!! Spa web site, Google and MINDBODY app all showed spa was open. Appointment made and confirmed on multiple occasions. Arrived at spa and it was closed. No signage saying spa was closed for holiday. Scheduled my day around my appointment.Called number and person who answered told me the spa was closed and was very dismissive and did not seem to care at all of their advertising said they were open.Very unprofessional. Highly recommend that you future guests triple check before arriving for appointment as it seems owner does not update their advertising.

Ive been to two other laser hair removal places with little to no results. If you want laser hair removal results Alora is the place to go. Patty is an expert and I saw results after the very first session! Ive had incredible results and would recommend this spa to anyone who wants to get rid of unwanted hair for good!

I purchased 6 Laser Hair removal sessions. The results were almost non-existing. The owner was honoring a Groupon price. After research, I discovered her pricing was higher than other offers at different locations. Needless to say, if the outcome of the laser had been a successful one, the price would not have been an issue. The owner kept assuring me that her process was better and more successful than other lasers. Which was not the case. I called back to advise that after the treatment there was little to nothing accomplished. I was told I would have to purchase additional sesssions. Why would I purchase additional sessions when they did not work the first time? The owner says she uses a YAG laser which should not be used without supervision of a doctor in the state of NJ. Overall the experience was not a good one.

I was in the city and decided to get a underarm bleaching. It’s called “Pink Intimate System” she said it would brighten my underarms. The next day I noticed my underarms were way darker. She gave me a burn and now it is worst. The owner kept entering and leaving the room because she had another client. I do not recommend this place at all. This has been the worst SPA I have ever been too.

I have been a long time customer of Patti’s. She’s thorough, hardworking and very good at what she does. Spa and offices are clean and staff are very friendly. Patti always has the newest technology and is always adding to the services offered.

I Am very upset I Called Alora Salon on Tuesday hoping they would allow me to get the promotional value of my Group on when they heard my story. My father passed away suddenly last week while I was on vacation. We had the wake and the funeral Friday9/4/15 and Saturday 9/5/15. My Groupon was to expire on the 9/6/15. When I went to make an appointment after the funeral I discovered The Shop is closed on Sunday and Monday. I called them on Tuesday the girl took my number and said they would have somebody call me back. They did call me about 2 hours later. The women on the phone was horrible no understanding compassion and was rude to me. She said there is nothing I can do its our policy, almost as if she was happy the dead line was missed. She told me I was just angry with myself. I said I am not angry with myself I’m angry with her lack of compassion and understanding. She said I can make me an appointment or I could call Groupon she had to go and there was nothing she could do because that was her policy. They are even; I believe still advertising the same deal. All I needed was a relaxing massage to deal with the sadness and stress. I am a kind loving person and she made me so angry. She is in a service industry this was not the way to get new customers. I am so upset with the way she made me feel I dont even want them to touch me. I was part owner of our family business which was in business for over 50 years and we valued and treasured our customers.

While the services are good, the professionalism at this spa is atrocious. Being a small business owner myself, the owner is the face of the business. Not only was I subject to unprofessional behavior, but customers in the store were treated disrespectfully. The owner would routinely shout across the room about how it wasnt her problem and that customers should just deal with it.I do not plan to return and recommend others steer clear.

I have been coming to Patty for years and she does the best facial. I love the warm comfy table and blankets -- shes very considerate of my sensitive areas and uses top notch Yonka products. Shes definetly the best facial Ive ever had and she keeps my skin from misbehaving! The staff is very accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy and peaceful and aromic. Treat yourself and get a spa service! I recommend the microdermabrasion too, it really helps if you are prone to hormonal breakouts and keeps skin fresh looking.

I had such a great experience here! I came in for a five week program to help me lose some weight and during that whole five weeks I have seen AMAZING progress!

The owner was the only rude person I had to deal with. She is very unprofessional she comes in late for my appointment on her phone yelling at someone. The receptionist didnt welcome me in nor did she tell me why the owner that is doing my appointment is 30 minutes late. Then rushes through my hair laser appointment because she has another appointment that has also just walked in. While doing my laser she is like hurry lets do this fast as in rushing me, when she was late!!! I did my bikini line and when she was applying gel without gloves!! Then I ask her for when I should make my next appointment she tells me that they are closing and moving else where and I go omg thats crazy where to? She tells me NY then goes yup the party is over! What party?? Im a paying customer this wasnt some kind of party? Now I have to last appointments that Im going to have to fight her to refund me because I am not agreeing to traveling to NY! And to top that off she then asks me if I was going to do a new package for my armpits! She is nuts! If anyone sees these reviews please dont waste your money!!!!!! The owner is very rude with a very nasty attitude.

NEVER GO HERE FOR BODY SCULPTING. When I walked in, I was on time. I signed up for an Ionithermie treatment. The front desk girls were nice but the lady who did my work was VERY RUDE. As soon as she saw me, she said that she does not have time to waste and did EVERYTHING IN A RUSH. She DID NOT DO MY TREATMENT CORRECTLY. I know this because I had this treatment done before at another spa. It is usually a 75 minute treatment and she took THREE HOURS. I was there from 5 pm to 8 pm because she was trying to figure out why the treatment is not working. First she was trying to BLAME IT ON ME, but clearly she DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. When I questioned her about her expertise and told her about dissatisfaction, SHE WAS VERY DEFENSIVE and YELLED AT ME. We are supposed to feel peaceful at a spa, and she DID NOT CREATE A PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE. She tried to LIE about the results by trying to measure me tighter with the tape measure to show me how many inches I lost, but I told her that I am not buying her nonsense. All what she wanted was to make sure that she got her money. The treatment was $235 and because of my complaint, she brought it down to $198 . . . Which is still not worth it but I paid it anyway. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY especially for someone who DROVE AN HOUR to get there because I thought the place was worth it because of the reviews. I highly reccomend Alora Laser Spa. I am getting underarm laser done and it is painless and effective. After just four sessions my underarm hair is completely gone and smooth. Thank you Patricia and Jessica.
