Yesterday my friends and I went to Sway for a much needed Ladies at a Spa day. But before sharing highlights from the services I want to share the care and attention I received. Using the Google feature on the Saturday before our visit, I chatted with a member from the team. They were patient,understanding, attentive as I asking questions on behalf of my friends and our intention. I appreciate the professionalism and prompt response. Booking was easy yet precise. The pricing was affordable.The location was T accessible,it was easy for the two who were driving to find meter parking and 1 took an uberNow yesterday, because it was four of us we staggered our services. 2 massages only. 1 facial only and 1 day spa package (1 hour massage and 1 hour facial) . All of us enjoyed our sessions. We felt like our service providers were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. And Sway was extra sweet in giving us complimentary sparkling cider as we celebrated our friend who is getting married. Special thank you receptionist, Debbie, Deborah and all those that we came across. We definitely hope to do another spa day with you all again in the future.

Best massage of my life with Lucy!! I went in 4 months after having my second baby with soreness and tightness in my entire body. Lucy knew exactly what I needed immediately and even threw in some hot stone work.

First time trying a facial spa in Boston in a while and I had the best experience. Deborrah was very inquisitive about my skin concerns and my needs, kept letting me know of every step and I had a pleasant conversation with her. I would definitely go again!

My husband and I did a couples massage with Natasha and Adaiah and we both agreed that was the best massage we’ve ever had. The massage was intentional and I felt like every muscle area was thoroughly worked. We came here because we had a gift certificate but I will 100% be coming back to see them. I couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for the best massage of your life.

Absolute top tier experience, one of the best massages i’ve ever had. I had Sarah, she was amazing. I have really chronic and complicated neck and shoulder pain. She asked me questions about my condition and made sure she fully understood what I was looking for in my deep tissue session. As I mentioned my condition is super complicated, yet she managed to locate all of the points I have been experiencing pain. Her attention to detail and talent is amazing and I feel great. Highly recommend!

The ambiance and decor is amazing and instantly transports you. The front staff is welcoming and helpful. Deborah did an amazing job and gave me the most relaxing facial ever. She gave great recommendations personalized to my skin type. Her hands were measured and sure throughout the facial. I did not feel like I was getting slapped around or rushed through AT ALL. I will definitely be coming back!!

We were visiting from Boston for a wedding and had an amazing experience! I went with my boyfriend for a couple’s spa day and they did not disappoint! We started with the infrared sauna which was so relaxing to any muscle tension, followed by a couple’s massage from knowledge massage therapists, and a couple’s facial. We were so relaxed by the end of it and our skin were flawless. We’ll definitely come again the next time we visit Denver!

Usually love this place and have told all of my friends and family about how great the staff is and how amazing the massages are but annoyed about the cancellation policy. I completely understand having one as it is valid however, I had an allergic reaction and my entire face and lips were swelled up and itchy so I did not see fit to go to my massage this morning. I just don’t see how I can get a relaxing massage whilst on my uncomfortable face. I called the spa first thing and was told that because it was a last minute cancellation they would be charging me the full price and that they cannot make an exception because “many of our clients tried to book your time slot with us.” I’m sorry if me having an allergic reaction was not a good enough reason for you to make an exception and that me cancelling on a one hour massage was a detriment to your business. I wasn’t even given the option to at least reachedule. Thank you for letting me waste my husband’s birthday gift to me for something that I did not have control of and we will never be coming back again. Also an FYI, this was not about the money, it was about the principle.

Booked a 90-minute couples massage, including prenatal services for myself for our anniversary. Very relaxing experience!

Booked a 60 min couples massage with my husband at Sway after seeing the great reviews, and we loved it! Perfect way to start our vacation in Boston. Lucy and Natasha were excellent massage therapists and we had a blast.

Excellent! Booked a massage for my friend. It was his 41st birthday and his first massage and they made him feel extra special! Jamie was awesome! Everything was clean and professional. She and all of the staff did a great job! I love the area/location too! Plenty of parking! (As long as its not a game day in fenway) Well definitely be back.

My facial was amazing. Manju was so nice and friendly. The front desk worker (unfortunately forgot to ask for her name) was just as amazing! Definitely would recommend

We booked a group massage for a bachelorette party and the owners were SO amazing! They helped us decorate and gave us ideas of what to do to surprise the bride. They kept constant and quick communication leading up to the day of service. Staff were so kind and the Massages & facials were excellent! 10/10 recommend!

George and the team at Sway are absolutely the best and this is the most consistent massage spot in Boston. Great customer service and lovely studio with relaxing vibes. We highly recommend Sway Spa for all of your massage and self care needs.

I bought a Spa Day for two for my mom and myself, which includes a massage and facial for each. We left feeling like we were walking on clouds! My mom said it was the best Christmas present. The staff is friendly and attentive. My mom has an injury in the neck area and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely go again

Sway Spa hosted massages and a facial for a bachelorette we had and we could not have chosen a better spa. They were so accommodating, willing to decorate and/or pick up decorations for us, and just so pleasant to deal with. George (the owner) stayed after hours to allow us time to have the spa to ourselves and do what want. He was the nicest host and even bought us muffins! Ninwa was so reaponsive, informative and also so so nice. The services exceeded our expectations. The whole bridal party will definitely be going back again and I will recommend them to any and everyone! Thank you Sway spa for making our experience so relaxing and fun!!

Such a perfect and relaxing experience. Went for a couples massage and there was such a friendly and calming atmosphere, super quick to bring us in and ask us what type of massage we wanted/firmness/focus areas and were very professional. They offered waters and chocolates. Clean and nice relaxing place for a massage, it was everything we were hoping for. The massage itself was incredible, I had Shirley and my boyfriend had a male masseuse (can’t recall his name). Definitely coming back.

My boyfriend and I had great massages here! This location has a calming atmosphere, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We had no trouble finding a street parking spot on a Saturday afternoon. Would recommend to anyone looking for a massage in Boston!

I went to Sway Spa and wow was it worth it. I made an appointment for a swedish massage and my technician was amazing. She attended to all of the problem areas and knots in my back, arms, and legs. She was also very careful not to touch an injury I had received that day. Incredibly relaxing experience. I would love to go back.

I loved my time at Sway Aveda Spa. The office itself is very clean, quiet, and calming. The front desk associates were professional and accommodating, and greeted me by name when I came in. My massage therapist, Doris, was fantastic! She was friendly and professional, and gave me an excellent massage. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to help my sore muscles. I was so happy and impressed with my experience that I purchased a 6-month membership after this massage. Cant wait to go back next month!

Surprised my fiance with a massage and facial, the owner is still absolutely generous, attentive, and brought a high level of customer service that many others can learn from. The esthetician, Yara, was absolutely phenomenal! The best facial either of us had ever gotten. Ernesto aka Magic Hands, gave the best massages! Best massage my wife and I have ever received! Lucy was my wife’s masseuse And she was ahhhmazingggg!!! Very professional, very attentive, and personable! My masseuse was Allison, before this experience I’ve only had one massage 7 yrs ago and it completely ruined my desire for another massage. My wife tea wanted a couples massage so I gave in and I was blown away! Allison listened and focused on my trouble areas (back, shoulders, and kneck). Her pressure was perfect, her hands felt like weighted pillows pressing into my muscles. She worked out all my kinks and knots and I left feeling so loose and relaxed!!! I’m in the military and I workout daily so we definitely appreciate the experience. We drove up from va to explore Boston and we’d come back just to get another massage!

Wow! This spa is absolutely amazing! I have been twice to get a facial and each time was a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Also, the decor is so pretty and upscale which creates a calm and serene environment to relax in. I also bought the eye cream and facial products which are the best I’ve used so far! I went for a pre-Mother’s Day massage and facial. Both were incredibly relaxing and I left feeling totally blissed out. My massage therapist had the perfect amount of pressure and an incredible technique. I fell asleep during my facial. There was the usual painful part of extractions, but then so much soothing, zen relaxation I was snoring. Really nice people and chocolate treats in between treatments!

Yara is amazing at what she does and that is why I continue to come back! My eyebrows love her!!

Massages here have never let me down. A good value - especially for the area. I always book pretty last minute and that has never been an issue (even on Friday night for first thing Saturday morning!). I have found I get the best massage there when I am vocal about what it is I want and need. They are good about asking too. Overall a good reliable experience. I will continue to go back for all my last minute massage needs.

Went for a dermaplaning and facial for my birthday. Everyone who I interacted with was kind, clear about expectations, knowledgeable about skincare and offered helpful suggestions to get the most out of the skincare services. They even lit and candle and sang to me when I came out after the services. Lovely people, Great place to have a facial.

I was gifted a massage with Thomas recently and I will be going back again!Wonderful service and very warm, welcoming staff. Thomas not only gave a great massage, he was so supportive of my well-being throughout! I very much appreciated that he identified issues that I could take to a chiropractor for further support as well.Additionally, when I inquired about the tip, the gentleman at the front demurred, saying that he wished to honor the intentions of the gift giver and preferred to leave the tip to their discretion. I can’t say enough about this place!

I went here earlier today for the first time for a facial prior to an engagement shoot. When I explained the occasion, the technician recommended that I get derma-planing - which was a fabulous suggestion. She even arranged for her next client to arrive 15 minutes later to accommodate the change. I came out positively glowing with detailed instructions for how to care for my skin prior to the event. Will come back again!

Ive been to Sway Aveda Spa twice. The first time was several months ago - they made a booking error and seemed to blame me for it at first, but then realized their mistake and gave me 10% off my couples massage (wasted several hours of my time so would have been good to have a steeper discount, but it was a nice gesture). My second visit was last night - I was able to schedule a last-minute half hour massage to help with TMJ discomfort. My massage therapist was Ernesto; he was great and helped stretch out the tightness in my neck and face. The spa also puts fresh fruit in their water which is pleasant.

I had an amazing massage at Sway after a pretty terrible week! The whole staff went above and beyond, right down to helping us figure out why the parking meter wasnt working!

The massage technicians were pretty good.The only thing is, we had an afternoon massage planned and that morning we had a family accident emergency. This spa wouldnt let us postpone, if we did wed still have to pay full cost for the cancelled appointment and the new one. Totally unreasonable. So, we could either lose the money or get the massage. Well, we went and it was weird - trying to enjoy a massage with heavy life stuff to go and handle.

So as a guy I never had a pedicure before and this was a great place to go. I booked it for Valentines Day with my girlfriend and the minute you walk in the door you are greeted and asked if youd like a beverage. I use to work in retail and in the food service industry and must say that this is top notch quality service you get. The two ladies who did mine and my girlfriends pedicures were so nice. My girlfriend got a manicure as well by the same lady and said that they took such good care of her fingers and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. The one lady who took care of me kept asking if I was okay as she did everything knowing that it was my first pedicure and I might be uncomfortable, but it was the complete opposite it was so relaxing. They did such a good job, my girlfriend who clearly as more experience then me with getting them said this was the best one she ever received. This is a must go it is a nice, clean and very well maintained business and not to mention it is a ran and operated by the owner so you know you get the best service every time. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Massages are worth it, not sure the facials are. Massage felt great, very relaxing. Facial was okay, but I was surprised that they didnt explain what they were putting on my face. It felt nice overall, but I tend to like to know whats going on.

Went for a couples massage to celebrate a new job and was seen by Lucy and Tom. Lucy gave me one of the best massages ive ever had, and my boyfriend said the same about Tom. The staff there is so friendly. My only critique for improvement is the music - i would rather have calming sounds rather than instrumentals of songs i know. Definitely will be back!

I went here for a neck and shoulder massage to help ease the stiffness and pain in those areas. On meeting Ajay, the co-owner I just felt comfortable, he seems like someone who knows what kind of massage would help whom. My masseuse Jamie was very understanding, asked me the right questions to know my trigger points and then massaged me to help relieve pain from those trigger points. The overall experience was very calming and soothing to both my mind and body.I would definitely recommend this and myself be back for more such experiences.

I would highly recommend Sway Spa. This morning I had one of the best pedicures Ive ever had. The massage itself was about 35 minutes and the pedicurist took her time throughout the appointment.For $35, the pedicure is worth every dollar. I cant wait to come back again and try a manicure as well.The spa is conveniently located right near Kenmore T stop and is small, so make sure you book your appointment ahead of time.

Sweta is more than an esthetician--shes a healer. Every time I see her for a facial Im still blown away and the exceeds my expectations every visit. She is gentle, reassuring, and knows exactly what products to apply no matter what shape my face is in. She also is well-verses in Ayurveda and is an amazing detective in terms of figuring out what different elements of lifestyle and skincare routine could be causing irritation or damage to your skin, helping you to course-correct with noticeable results. My skin looks beautiful after I visit her and I feel deeply relaxed on a soul level after her massage techniques and exposure to her chill, relaxing energy. Do not hesitate to see this amazing woman for a facial--shes incredible!

For the best massage you can experience, Sheli s a gifted and experienced massage therapist. She always knows exactly the right pressure to alleviate the tight muscles. I always leave feeling great. The front desk receptionist is very sweet and friendly.

I was looking for an ethical and fabulous nail salon/spa, and Ive found it. Sway in Kenmore Square not only lived up to, but exceeded my expectations. Very nice, courteous and helpful people. Gentle touch on my pedi, sample colors on my nails to make a final color choice, and an over-coat with specks that really add pizazz to my toes! I had the Aveda Pedicure - which included a leg/foot massage that went on and on. I was in heaven! Knowing that their staff is well-paid and working under good working conditions makes me even more satisfied. This will be my go-to spa from now on.

They really need to learn to handle peoples comments well. I had got a head massage from them from a therapist who apparently was an expert at massages. The message was ok and at the end of the service the lady tells me that she dosent do massages at all, which made me question if I should trust them again ever. Thinking that I have had a couple of services from them before, I thought of emailing them first instead of posing a review to which their owner called and spoke for half an hour defending her employee and in mood to understand the client side of the story. He even had the audacity to say that it looked like I was happy with the service because he had apparently seen me interacting with the therapist after the massage. Good behavior dosent mean I loved the service and Im ok with you guys giving the wrong information while booking an appointment.

Great place! My facial was amazing, relaxing, pain-free cleaning of acne.. Left my skin smooth and glowing. Received lots of everyday tips and hacks to take care of my skin. Will visit again.

Just had an amazing massage with Lucy and my daughter had a really good facial with Nadine who gave some great recommendations that in all honesty sounded better than the ones given by her doctor (not a skin doctor, a general practitioner). Her forehead looks dramatically better.

Hands down the most soul nourishing spa experience Ive had to date!I have always been an AVEDA lover and was seeking a little respite from a lengthy hospitalization of my baby boy keeping us nearly 2 months away from home in Newport, RI.I booked a half day of treatments and could not have chosen a better place!From the moment you walk in the door the light scent of healing herbs greets and delights your senses and the smiling staff begin the spoiling.The facial was sublime, the massage unrivaled, the mani and pedi amazingly peaceful, warm, nurturing and relaxing.I felt like a friend by the time I left.A friend whos soul just got a giant bowl of healing AVEDA soup.Thanks to all the SWAY staff who made this girls day and then some!❤️❤️Highly HIGHLY recommend this oasis of awesome to everyone near and far who are in the Boston area.- C. I was able to walk in and get my brows waxed without an appointment . She even massaged my forehead and face. Place is very soothing and calming . Very Clean . I was asked if I wanted a cool drink as soon as I was greeted when I walked in .

Quiet spa setting on a busy street in Boston. Had 90 minute massage and facial. If you like deep tissue, you will find it here. Both services were performed with skill and the facial was relaxing and gentle.

The actual spot is pretty but I didnt like the etisthician doing my eyebrows. She kept coughing literally every second and didnt sanitize her hands. And theyre eye brows price is way over price. I tipped off my card and the receptionist asked to not tip off my card again, they want cash. Definitely dont be returning to sway aveda spa .Ps my eyebrows came out okay. I could have gotten them done in the inner city for a cheaper price with the same outcome.

This is a fantastic spa. I go for a monthly facial and occasionally a massage and the experience is always great and the staff super friendly. Marlene is a sweetheart and I highly recommend requesting her for your facial!

What a great experience! As an out-of-state visitor, this place was welcomed retreat. The people here are the sweetest, and the manicure/pedicure was perfect. Couldnt ask for a better experience! Highly recommended!

They screwed up on the tipping they should make that more obvious cash is needed for tipping. I paid using my monthly subscription. I was confused about leaving cash for a tip, and sway spa called me to ask if I wanted to leave a tip for the masseuse
