Super creepy vibes from the guys who worked here, called my girlfriend beautiful and proceeded to follow us around the store about a foot away from us at all times. then 3-4 other guys showed up behind the counter and all stared at us. we left pretty quickly. also SUPER overpriced.

I came in asking about edibles and their response was that they dont sell any marijuana, but they did in fact have edibles for sale (d8, hhc, thca) which mostly just confused me. I guess Im mostly critical of the customer service. Im not sure if the response was out of paranoia or not, but they almost lost me as a customer had I not independently noticed them for sale

Serena is the best! She is so helpful and friendly, always has a smile on her face. Everyone here is so personable. I highly recommend going this store in particular on the fourth block of Newbury st!

These places are a rip off and pushed out small head shops. They have a $52 bong for $119. They have $22 pen batteries selling for $50, I was shocked to see that but the real kicker to these stores if you pay in cash they keep the change, literal broke behavior. Shop online if youre a stoner and get your papers at your convince store instead

Where do I start. Serina Serina Serina the only reason I go to the smoke shop is Serina. One of city smoke shops best employee. She treats me like family and always has a smile on her face. She has the most product knowledge compare to a lot of the people I have dealt with. I know I can go to her with any questions or needs that I may have. If it weren’t for Serina I’d probably wouldn’t be a customer there since the kid with the nappy hair treated me so poorly (I think his name was AJ or TJ). Anyways I love Serina and the professionalism/ enthusiasm she has brought to City smoke shop.

The guy that work here don’t know what he’s talking about ( Monday in the afternoon ). I went to ask about what type of refill is best that gives u that space max clear taste and he sold me something that is so nasty. When I asked him multiple times are u sure. Even showed him the space max clear vape that I had. Went to another shop of Huntington and the lady knew exactly what I was looking for. Sorry I wasn’t more specific on my last post. Maybe I should have went there when Serina was working heard nothing but good stuff about her. So I recommend not going here on Mondays or whenever the guy is working. Cause the African American guy I dealt with before is good.

I love this store and the store at 342 both same store run by same people and are amazing! I had to show my licence to prove my age. The first thing I noticed was the huge variety of items, how nice, patient & knowledgeable the staff is, how reasonably priced everything is, how if this store cant help you cause they dont have something you want In stock theyll find out from the closest store if its available for you. This is an unbelievably amazing store like a candy store for adults, which I visit weekly. I supported these guys when they first opened because they gave me the impression that they had integrity and cared about their customers --- that loyalty was important to them. Admittedly I was wrong. When they offer you an item for one price and then charge you another --- and when you question them -- they reply --- hey this is newbury street --- Clearly they need a new PR rep. Id rather shop next door even if I have to pay more. Even if they dont have exactly what I want.

I went in originally thinking the spot was awesome because they were nice and had good products. I bought one of their products and it had a price set on top, they refused to sell it at that price because it was different in their system, going rate was one thing but I thought the going rate was more but turned out to be less on research. I found another price on the bottom of the product from the retailer and went back because it was less than I paid and the owner said there was nothing he could do about it even though I, as a customer, felt I was right and they had originally messed around when it came to pricing anyway. Mind you, I buy a lot of ejuice and glass smokeware and they definitely just lost a frequent customer.

Obviously they do not make the products that they sell. Considering the expansive inventory, they source the best possible products out there. I had a great experience here and will continue to buy from them as they are constantly seeking out the best products for their customers as I learned from a quick conversation with one of the employees. I am already a loyal customer for this fairly new shop.

I love coming here to get my juul pods. There are more conveniently located places where I could get them but I choose to come here instead. The staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They also have a wide range of other paraphernalia and vape products.

They sold damaged product (chips in glass bong). Would not honor the return (they were notified within an hour after we unpackaged it). Bad business practices and very untrustworthy. what a shame. they lost a good customer for good..

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HERE! The gentleman that works there, CJ was the most kind, patient and positive person that I have ever met as a customer. He was able to answer every question I had (which was a lot) about a variety of items. He knew all about the bongs and what each chamber was called and all the fancy stuff inside it and how everything works! This place had the most glass pieces to choose from versus any other shop I have gone too. As well as super clean and organized and was easy to see and find everything.The vibe is awesome, I think a lot of that had to do with CJ. He was patient and if he had to leave for a sec to help someone else he was very sweet about it and came back to help me super swiftly! He brightened my day and I felt so confident with my purchases. I will only be coming here from now on and I definitely hope to see CJ there each time! I forgot to also mention I am clumsy and broke my last bong and my girlfriend just broke the last one we had and so when I mentioned that he showed me one that was easy to hold and light! I left with two bongs I couldnt have been more happy with my purchase and experience! Thanks CJ!

I know what I want when i come into stores like this. I know the dosage & the amount that I want. These guys will try to upsell you and belittle you when you ask them for low dose products. I’ve been going here for over a year and they do have great products (hence two stars not one) — but they’ve made it clear this past time that they’re not interested in what I as a customer want, they’re interested in explaining to ME what THEY think I need. A f%&king joke.

I had a dirty juul (unbeknownst to me) that resulted in a pack of off market pods not working properly. I brought the pods back in hopes of an exchange, but not expecting anything. To my pleasant surprise the employee helping (Dan) me not only contacted his manager to approve the exchange, but he also troubleshot my juul and helped me clean it to get it working again! This was an extremely uncommon thing for a smoke shop to do, and because of it they earned my loyalty. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment and encourage anyone to come in and say hi to Dan! He’s a cool guy who will help you with whatever you need!

Bridgette is amazing! Boston had mostly been a bust for us and she helped us turn it around. Good pieces, great prices. Full selection of cigars and hookah accoutrements as well. We forgot our replacement vape baskets last night and she was waiting for us with this this am. Ive been riding the struggle bus so hard I decided to buy a replacement pen for just-in-case and it was a great price. Lots of cool pieces of youre into hookah or glassware (or all glass hookahs which I didnt know existed) Doggo tax pic since my vapes just a standard yocan.

Place sells fake Juul pods that leak. Tried to talk to someone about a replacement but they were rude, unhelpful and started cursing at me. There are many other smoke shops on newbury that are way more helpful than these jackasses, take your business elsewhere.

Selling stuff which was used already... bought some rolling pappers and cone tips and when got home I have noticed that its not full...Stay away from this places guys...
