Budget Inn By OYO Corpus Christi Beach

We showed up to check in and there was no one at the front desk. We waited around, rang the buzzer a bunch, and called. Finally talked to someone in a call center and they told me they canceled our reservation due to unforseen circumstances. Couldnt provide me any more information than that. Said my card was refunded and told me to have a nice day. Ended up having to drive down the road and find a different hotel that had vacancies available. Likely will never use an OYO branded hotel again.

Nice clean rooms and the customer service was good. It was walking distance from the beach which was super nice for us.

I live in New mexico and I come down for a week, I always stay in beach view. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff has always treated me good and with respect. The motel is quiet. I recommend for you too try it out.

The best property on North Beach for your $.Great location, wonderful staff, clean and modern rooms.Beds are super comfy.Tv cable is the best.

By far one of my favorite places to stay in CC. They are a short walk from the beach, a park for kids and a dog park. The rooms are much nicer than youd expect looking from the outside and housekeeping is wonderful. Front office staff is friendly and the price is way worth it. $80 for a view of the beach is unheard of! Most nearby hotels are a couple hundred at least. Rooms are well equipped with hair dryer, iron and ironing board, hangers and coffee pot. Bathrooms are clean. Parking lot can be a bit tricky to navigate but is kept up nicely. Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Corpus!

Being so close to the beach is amazing. If you dont mind...having to stay in a musty smelling room, dirty carpet, dirty walls, dirty mattress and box spring, old TV , flat towels... Then this place is amazing!! You get what you pay for and this is a true testament to that saying. The front desk staff is very polite and nice.

I loved that they accept dogs in their rooms. The rooms dont face the beach but it is a short walk to Corpus Christi Beach. Our room was clean and they were very helpful. The parking was a bit tricky in our van. They offer WiFi as well as cable. I only wish they were more handicap accessible. You have to walk up a short flight of stairs to the first floor rooms.

Im very disappointed in the stay!! We really liked that the price was fair due to the beach site but no view from room since it faces the opposite side of the main reason why we stayed.. BUT besides the fact the carpet was filthy and not updated as we were gunna go to sleep and as I covered my child long and behold BEDBUGS!! At 12 am I go to the office and demand a refund and have to look for a room with our children never will trust a price so cheap..I gave her the bedbug and told her it was discussing

The rooms were clean, the location was walking distance to the beach and the room staff were very helpful! It was a wonderful stay for a good price. I will be coming here again.

The room was dirty. Hardwood floors that turned My feet black. The sink had a pile of whisker trimmings in it. The room hasnt been cleaned! ! Thankfully, there were no bugs, but, it was still FILTHY!

My most favorite facility to stay in. Convenient to all restaurants and souvenir shops. Not to mention that the beach is right out back. Highly recommended 👌 👍

This place is a hidden treasure. Nice clean rooms with open view of the beach.This place is older but very well maintained by great people. I highly recommend it for a nice evening on the deck watching the water .

Such nice owners. They turned the ac on so our clean comfortable room was great. They even had FITTED SHEETS on our comfortable beds. We will be back. Best deal

This place is run down not wheelchair accessible its next to the ugliest beach in all of corpus Christi and I swear it was just the ugliest most inconvenient place I have ever stayed

The place is called budget inn so you get exactly that.However its a really low key family owned business, if you want to party on the beach there is no security harshing the party you can throw here.

I use to work for hotel the Shower is dirty the walls u can see and feel the floor is dirty dont even mop everythings unplug when u get in room stinks also nd outside ik you get what you paid for but for 120 smh this is not even good ac ok towel are dirty also stains on em phone dont even work had to mess with wire oyher then that ig its good place to sleep just hope there no bed bugs

Experience was horrible they expect you to clean up, No room service, there may have been bed bugs bite my sister and Mom complained of bites , we saw roaches , on the web they have 80$ a night when we got there they wanted to charge us 130 a night and it was 4 in the morning ( we were traveling) ! They had no amenities , as far as soap , a blow dryer more than 2 towels etc . All Around It was Horrible Service !

Good price for a motel on the beach. Clean. Absolutely no amenities and minimal bath items provided. Slight musty smell to the room. Limited selection for nonsmokers.

While we were visiting, the maintenance man was completely wasted, and decided to pick a fight with the cleaning lady in our room as it was being cleaned. I heard yelling, cussing, and the man hitting the table with his hand Im assuming. As my friend and her children, and me and my children, were all standing outside waiting for them to finish.

Beachfront motel for a very low price. This is the place you want to stay in Corpus. Worth double the price. All rooms have a fridge and microwave. Family owned and operated.

It was the only place that had a vacancy and it was right on the beach....having a kitchenette was great...struggle to walk up stairs but that is all they have....nothing to wash dishes with and restroom is very small...will stay there again

Our GO-TO for long stays out of the city, vacation, and weekend getaways. Always super clean and super friendly. Very accommodating and great pricing!!

Do NOT waste your money here!! The only thing they having going for them is how close to the beach they are. DONT BE FOOLED! Very poor service. DIRTY AND FULL OF BEDBUGS!!!

No soap. More expensive than the nicer hotels. Smelled like mold and mildew. No plug ins near the bed. Wouldnt recommend at all.

The guy at the front went above and beyond to make my stay awesome. I never rate places or anything but they did good and i highly enjoyed my day off.

Not good for the price we payed. $127 a night.NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST, WE HAD TPAY FOR THE ICE FROM THE ICE MACHINE, NO BLOW DRYER, NO COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE IN THE ROOMS, Overall not worth it.

Nice little motel near the beach within walking distance to Fajitaville. Clean rooms and friendly service.

I mean...you get what you paid for. Only reason i went was to pick up a friend that stayed there due to no vacancies in other hotels spring break weekend.

Right on the Beach, bathrooms are clean but do not expect much, all the other things are only for survival.

It is like an efficiency. But very clean has a window in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
