Jiva Med Spa Dayton

Today I went in to discuss a promotion that I thought I was supposed to receive and spoke with one of the ladies that work there. While explaining my confusion, to which she was also initially confused, she insulted me by saying well I was able to figure it out with an annoyed look on her face. After numerous reactions like that from her I finally said I no longer which to speak to you regarding this and told her twice I didnt wish to go in circles with her about this however she kept ignoring my request to stop and kept attempting to make her point. She did not respect my boundaries which in my opinion is unprofessional. I will be switching locations as I no longer feel comfortable there.

Really enjoy working with Amber. No nonsense. She just gets me in and out and im on my way. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was a little unsure of what procedures I wanted at first. They all took their time to explain to me what each one was with out getting annoyed with all my questions. Danielle was always so friendly and made sure I was very comfortable during treatments! Would highly recommend going here!!

Dr Rakesh Nanda and all the staff at the Dayton location are absolutely wonderful. I am currently having a tattoo removed and I always experience so much anxiety right before my appointments. Dr Rakesh Nanda truly made my experience as pain free as possible. I highly recommend Jiva Med Spa, specifically the Dayton location.

Elyse is amazing with what she does, she’s extremely kind and walks you through your procedure as she goes. Kyla has been very helpful and kind as well! I had a concern and management addressed promptly, I felt as though they truly cared , which is a huge deal in this field.

I had my treatment with Amber yesterday. I was very nervous. Amber was kind, informative throughout the process, and highly professional! She is very skilled at what she does. I feel comfortable asking her questions about my aged skin and she will give me her professional opinions and back it up (explain/inform) her knowledge of products and procedures. She doesn’t tell me what to do, but gives me the information I need to make my own decision. I am so happy to have found Jiva and especially Amber!

This place is horrible. Their policy for appointments does not allow for emergency. Situations. They let me drive half an hour one day to get there for an appointment and the provider was out. But then they told me I would have to pay $25 to reschedule my appointment when my dog was bleeding out of her nose and needed a visit to the vet urgently. They have no common decency. They are the rudest people there. It’s been a horrible experience.

Nancy is the best. I have really enjoyed working with her. She is a very caring and easy to talk to person. She performed an Ultherapy procedure on my face. I am very excited about the results so far. She is very good about explaining the procedure and making sure you are comfortable. I highly recommend consulting with her if Ultherapy is something you are considering.

I love this place! Everyone is so kind! I always see Elyse whether it be for Botox, lip filler or weight loss shots! She is always so kind and genuinely cares about my experience.

I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. who checked me in. I was scheduled for a micro needling procedure, it performed by Elyse. She made me feel very comfortable, quite knowledgeable & sweet. No discomfort what so ever. I highly recommend Jiva Med Spa.

I had a few questions for Elyse and she did a great job of answering them for me. Danielle always listens to my concerns too. Dr. Nanda is very knowledgeable and is helping me reach my goals very quickly.

“Dr. Ra” is one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met. Engaging, knowledgeable, and utterly affable. He and his staff, Danielle, Elise, and the rest, have made my tattoo removal a pleasant experience. The Bio-Identical therapy for my me and my wife has been revolutionary. We’ve made real friends and allies at Jiva Med Spa.

The Spa is easily accessed, beautifully decorated, and professionally staffed. Each session prompts me to return and do more. All staff are friendly and know what they are doing. A pure JOY!

I went to Jiva Med Spa On Tuesday, February 9. I wanted to share my story to let people know about the bad service I received. I went there for a consultation about laser hair removal. After a brief conversation, I was taken into a room with the doctor. The doctor proceeded to do a test on my left hand. Using a laser machine he burnt me once, I told him it hurt, he then continued to do it a second time. As he was doing it the third time, I pulled my hand back. The pictures that I have attached shows how bad the burns were. After excruciating pain and leaving his office I decided to return to let him know how bad I was hurt. The employee said he would get the doctor and took me to a room, at which time the doctor came in. I showed him my burns on my left hand and told him that this was not normal. He insisted that this was normal and said it would be OK. I told him I wanted my money back, at which time he refused. I then told him I would try to get an attorney to get my money back if he did not return it back to me. He told me I was not going to get my money back and that I needed to leave and never come back. He also gave me a cream( later on I found out it’s not for burns and was expired skin lotion) I wanted to write the story so that people could see the poor service I received. This kind of customer service and negligence should never happen to anybody. I am hoping that the story can be used to show the lack of respect that some people get during what would seem to be a simple procedure. Dr. Nanda never stopped to check the machine to see if it was too hot. He simply told me that it was fine and normal rather than stopping to see if that was true.Update: today is 4/17/2021It’s been two months and a half and my scars still there. My family doctor said this is permanent. Please see the attached picture.

Danielle at the front desk is amazing. Every time I go in there she is very helpful and puts the time into every question I have. Jiva Med Spa is a very warm environment and the staff is all wonderful. I would recommend trying them out if you haven’t.

Im in the process of getting a tattoo removed through this company and Ive had a wonderful experience so far.I was initially reluctant because of the cost, but the treatment is working well. It does take time and can take several treatments, but it is effective.For those concerned with the pain associated with tattoo removal, I personally do not think it hurts as much as getting the tattoo itself. The provider also has a cooling wand to cool the skin as you take breaks as needed. I was nervous for my first treatment, but its no big deal now! The staff have been very kind and patient each and every treatment.Im very thankful that this type of treatment exists- It has made something that used to be impossible, possible and tolerable!Thank you Jiva Med staff and best wishes to all considering their services.

Laser hair touch up appointment went well. I waited less than 5 minutes for my appointment. She was professional and thorough.

I paid for 2 treatments ( which cost 2,400$)for cool sculpting for my arms and have no difference at all , the hopes of wearing my no sleeve shirts are still are dashed. I also paid 1,500 for 2 BBL treatments and on the first treatment I left there with a 3rd degree burn and still have the mark on my face 3 years later. The second treatment went better but I still have the veins around my nose and the brown spots I would tell anyone thinking about cool sculpting to not waste your money, Liposuction is the way to go Also I would say find somewhere else to go

What a gem of a place! I had no idea they offered all of the services and special solutions to so many different things—not just beauty, but also health and well-being. I am mostly impressed with the staff, who were personable, professional, and totally engaging. I’m grateful that a gift certificate brought me in the door. I started my journey about 6 weeks ago at over 400lbs. I started the semiglutide treatment not knowing what to expect. I have tried other things in the past, but this treatment is significantly different. This treatment allows you to be successful after the end of your treatment. It trains you and your body to be healthy.Thank you Dr. Nanda and staff! I have lost over 35lbs and on pace for 70lbs by the end of the 12 weeks.

I met Dr. Nanda 9 years ago. I came in to have my tattoos removed. Since treatments are done 6 weeks a part and my tattoo was very dark and old it took a little over a year, so I got to know and love the staff. Today you would never know I ever had a tattoo on my hand or wrist. I liked going there so much I decided to try laser hair removal next. Not having to shave anymore is the best investment I have ever made!

Do not pay for your service until you speak with a technician-they do NOT issue refunds!! The receptionist is cold and unhelpful and did not follow up when she said she would. Previously I had a fine experience with underarm laser hair removal and decided to return for bikini line laser hair removal but I have regretted it every visit. I was issued a credit for the overpayment that was then removed without my knowledge. All in all I ended up paying $125 more than the cost of the service I wanted. I will not return.

This place has gone downhill quickly. I walked in today and the receptionist and the practitioner did not have masks on, and took several minutes to put them on while I waited.She took me back and did the most brush over quick laser hair removal Ive ever had. My mother bought this couples massage as a gift for Christmas. I made this appointment for today 3/17/21, two in a half months ago based on their availability because they couldn’t get us in sooner. My fiancée took off work and I scheduled to be off early based on the only evening appointment they had available. Danielle called me this morning 3/17/21 to inform me that someone called off and they could only do one of us. When I called her back and explained this seemed to be an ongoing issue because I read another review about a couples massage with the exact same issue she had no response. She said there wasn’t anything they could do. She made no attempt to accommodate, she gave no future date or time to reschedule and was rather rude truthfully. Would not recommend this place, I suggest reading other reviews as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Nanda is the most personable doctor I’ve had the pleasure of going to. I came here after about a year of unsuccessful laser tattoo removal treatments by a different establishment that basically took my money and left me with the ink still as dark as the day I started removal. Dr. Nanda assured me he would take care of me and that he would remove my ink quickly and effectively. Fast forward a little less than a year of seeing Dr. Nanda my tattoo was removed and I could not be happier with the results and how well my skin healed. 100% recommend Jiva Med Spa and Dr. Nanda to ANYONE who is considering their services.

This place is a scam! I purchased a groupon for laser tattoo removal. At the consult with Dr. Nanda, he stated the groupon was for a laser that would undoubtedly leave a scar and could upgrade me to a better laser for $150. My first question is, why are you as a medical doctor selling a service that knowingly leaves scars? My second question is, what lasers these days would even leave a scar - a keloid scar no less? As soon as he said this and tried to upsell me I knew he was a scammer. Then he said it would take 10-12 session with the better laser and offered me a package for $1500, even though they are $400 a session normally. That math doesnt add up even for a package deal AND an ad for their tattoo laser removal using the Picosure laser, the better one, states it takes 3-6 sessions, not 10-12 like Dr. Nanda told me. Stop wasting everyones time with this scam.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. There is no respect towards their customers. The receptionist is probably one of the most incompetent people I have ever met. And on top of that very rude. The “doctor” there will meet with you on the first visit and only the first visit to scam you out of money and you will never see him again. I would like to also mention that everyone is being charged a different rate. Simply because it is a scam. The man will do anything to get money out of you but fails to provide good service. Every time I walk in there they ask me to pay my remaining balance when I payed for my service in full the very first visit. They are just trying to get you to pay more and trick you into it. Even when there was an issue with the receptionist, he stood in the back room watching and listening without even saying a word. If this man truly cared about his clientele he would show his face and resolve the issues at hand. Also wanted to acknowledge that throughout the sessions that I have been in for they have lost two of their employees, the good ones I might add. All that is left is a single disrespectful lady whose performance is based on how much time she has free that day. If I am paying hundreds of dollars for a laser hair service I expect it to be done correctly and professionally, not on the employees mood of the day. This “business” is being run very poorly and is simply a scam. Don’t waste your money or your time and deal with unprofessional and arrogant people such as the Jiva Med Spa crew. You will find better service at your local McDonald’s. Just take a look at the rest of the reviews and you’ll see for yourself.

I was looking to get lipo but they convinced me to get cool sculpting. Not only did I waste lots of money I never got results. My stomach is no smaller and I experienced a ton of pain. Dont get me wrong the Doctor was super nice and helpful but Im bothered that I traded procedures on a guarantee that it would work and I would be happy with the results. When I stated I was not happy they told me they would get me another session at a cheaper price, but I want my 7k in results now I dont want to pay more! Needless to say, my stomach is still big and Im still paying on a loan for the procedure. So please please know that there is a good possibility that cool sculpting wont work. I just wish I could at least get some of my money back. I will not be going back, I feel like I got sold 😞 other than that, everyone was nice.

I called in regards to a group-on for a tattoo removal. I had been seen there about a half a year ago for a different type of removal too ( the doctor stated it was different from the Groupon) paid the full amount of $300.The Groupon itself again was for a different type but due to being seen already, she stated I could not and that the doctor matched the Groupon price already. He did not whatsoever. The Groupon price currently is $89. She was pretty rude when I stated that he said I was paying for something completely different then. There was no Groupon price for this type of removal. She wanted to argue with me on this. I feel like the customer service and lack of explanation during my first session ( especially paying $300) I would think they could honor a different type that I had not had there. There is a way to explain this during sessions and after but they did not. She also threw in my face that I had an appointment that I did not show up to. Due to a death in my family but she made an assumption then and there the way she said this. The lack of empathy was horrendous.Bad business scheme to me when I had already paid so much and she tried to say he matched it.I would not go there again.

It’s hard to schedule an appointment for laser treatments. Apparently there’s only one lady who does the laser hair removal and she rarely works. She’s so nice and I wish I could see her more often. I got a Groupon for a graduation present two years ago.. and since I live in Chicago- it’s almost impossible to schedule my appointments for a convenient time. Each time I call, the lady is either out of town or took the day off.The receptionist is also cold over the phone but a little more pleasant in person.

Every interaction is pleasant and supportive, from Dr. Nanda to every staff member. All my questions are answered and treatments have been successful and satisfying. Danielle and Megan have been especially helpful and encouraging.

Today I received my second treatment for tattoo removal. I could see immediate results after my first visit. As for the reviews complaining about “up selling” please remember that you get what you pay for. I knew when I walked in with my groupon voucher that I would likely need several treatments. Do yourself a favor and do a little research before your appointment.They offer several services and I didn’t mind being informed of what they offer.I think I was more excited that they let my gf video the entire process (at my request) I highly recommend their services and will use them for hair removal as well.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would!!! I paid for 10 sessions of laser therapy. My last session was horrible. She did such a rushed job! Within my 10 sessions they have adjusted the settings to their likings without informing me! And they do not document anything! Even after I request to go up on the settings. I have a feeling they keep changing the settings so you can keep coming back for more! They have changed so many laser techs which makes it so frustrating! When I finally began to see results after a couple of sessions , they fired the tech and everything went downhill from there. The dr in charge just cares about the money and does not care about patient care. Please find a different place to get your laser hair removal done!

Dr. Nanda and his staff are great from check in to check out and very professional. Dr. Nanda removed my tattoo with state of the art technology their equipment is top notch!! If you want it removed no problem they can do it! I had an excellent experience here. Ive never had a massage before and decided to purchase a couples massage on Groupon. It was totally worth it. Ive never felt better and I cant wait to back for another one. The place is very clean and the atmosphere relaxing. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.

The appointment was great and always feel welcomed by everyone there. Amazing visit and will return for future appointments!

EDIT - 18 March 2023:The May 2022 review below is the second (and highly edited) Google review, after Dr. Nanda called me on his personal cell phone to strongly advise that I change and repost it as soon as possible. He also told me to rate Jiva Med Spa with 5 stars. I was a bit flustered by this phone call, which occurred a few weeks after it was originally posted to Google.I will not return to this business again. It does not matter if one day Dr. Nanda is the sole remaining pellet provider in the area. There are too many valid reasons why I refuse to return.******************************************************************I had the BioTE pellets inserted on 03 May 22 with Dr. Nanda. He was exceptional with consulting, information and the actual insertion. I was hesitant to change providers for pellet therapy, but the blood test results proved right. My Testosterone and Estrogen levels both doubled from roughly three weeks between tests! I was shocked. Rest assured, BioTE pellets definitely work!I must caution you: a lot of medications (like antidepressants) block hormones, like Testosterone and Estrogen which can cause you to wonder if the BioTE pellets really worked at all. They do and then some.Dr. Nanda was very careful, kind, efficient and quick with the actual insertion. I was expecting a little pain, but it was just uncomfortable for about 40 seconds. Healing was really easy too! That, in itself, is commendable. He really knows what hes doing and does it well!Thank you! I am happily relieved the pellets worked and confident in Dr. Nandas skills.I had questions about my lab results and I spoke to Dr. Nanda on the phone. I appreciate the personal attention and patient focus.******************************************************************

DONT GO HERE!!! Please research and find somewhere else for laser hair removal. I had a Groupon and was brought into a room with 2 guys where it was high sales and before I knew it they were having me get a credit check for $10K. I ended up with 8 sessions of laser for underarms and bikini and I think it was around $1500. I was told I would be numbed and it was painless. IT IS NOT! Nor do they put anything on you to make it more comfortable. At about my 4th session, and after I bought numbing cream from Amazon on my own, I was told they were supposed to use this cryo spray that freezes you. She used it that day and I felt nothing. Why would they not use that on everyone? By my 6th appointment they were out of it so I said I’m not doing this and I’ll wait. At this point I’ve seen NO RESULTS anyways so I’m going through all this pain for NOTHING. The receptionist (at Beavercreek) is awful so don’t try to reschedule or even talk to her, she’s the most rude snotty human you’ll ever meet. Don’t waste your money, find somewhere else. They only care about money, not the people. Please read these reviews I wish I had before I wasted all this money

I have a certificate for a couples massage. I understand during the pandemic that there were issues. They were promised they were supposed to contact me after a month and never did. I had to call them three months later only to tell me they did not do couple massages anymore. They said I could do a personal massage by myself. So I am out 100 dollars. The staff who answered the phone was very, very rude to me. I will never step foot in this place.

My experience has been wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking at tattoo removal to look here first. I have tattoos on both of my arms that I have grown to deeply regret. I have only done 3 sessions so far and my tattoos are almost halfway gone. I had gone to another facility for another smaller tattoo that I have and after 6 sessions it wasn’t even at the level that my arms are now.

Dr. Nanda was amazing!! The nicest guy I have met- He is so nice to his staff, and clients both. His front office staff is so nice and professional!! (Katie- I think was her name was the definition of patient) It made me feel way less nervous than I did intially. He explained everything and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable before the laser treatment. I had a tattoo removal procedure done on my hand and the pain was totally tolerable. The beavercreek location is such a nice place inside and out - I would recommend Jiva med spa AND Dr. Nanda to anyone I know!!!

For Christmas my co workers got me a 90 minute massage. I was super excited to go. I had to schedule out about 3 weeks due to their availability. The day of the massage, they called to let me know the therapist called off sick but I could still come just 2 hours later. I was fine with it. However, the massage was the worst Ive had. I told the therapist up front and even wrote it on my paper I wanted a harder type of massage. That didnt happen, didnt even come close. It was almost like a tease. Just disappointed.

The staff is amazing! I could not b happier w my experiences here. Iv been twice now for laser hair removal and cant wait for my next appointment. All the staff r extremely friendly and very welcoming.

Purchased a groupon last year for services from this spa. Initially they were very responsive -- Dr. Nanda is very pushy in talking about all his services and trying to sell as much as possible. Being a service based business owner I understand needing to promote your services but felt it was pretty high pressure, reminding me of used car sales. I completed the treatment that I paid for with Groupon and needed more treatment so he offered to extend the Groupon price to me. I appreciated this very much and put down a $50 deposit for 3 more treatments. When I arrived (on time) for my next treatment I had to wait 30+ mintues. Dr. Nanda walked past me twice as did seven other staff members. I have NEVER made a client wait for me for 30 minutes and think it absolutely unacceptable to wait this amount of time for a SCHEDULED appointment. Oh, and the no refund policy. Cant get my $50 deposit back because there are no refunds. Not impressed and not happy.

If I could give this place a zero star I will certainly do it. I’ve never seen such disgusting people. The place is horrible DO NOT I mean DO NOT dare step a foot there. It’s so bad I’ve never been in such a horrible place. The staff are DISRESPECTFUL and do not have any type of humanity. All this people care about is the money not even the consequences for the patients. They probably never been to a school for this kind of work. Let’s just take a minute and mention this HORRIBLE doctor Nanda, I went there for an appointment for a tattoo remover with him. And let me tell you that man did a horrible job that tattoo made a horrible scare and burned me! And instead of apologizing he kicked me out and told me never to come back. I mean how low of a person can you be to just enjoy people getting hurt and not EVEN apologizing. Again DO NOT GO. YOURE CRAZY IF YOU GO THERE!

Purchased a groupon but when I came in for my appointment to use it the doctor insisted (he was quite pushy) I use the better machine and that I would need to spend some $5000 for all the treatments. All in all I gave in to paying more for that single treatment, but I made zero plans to ever come back. The treatment was legit and did something, but I found it completely unprofessional for a doctor to push (and I mean push) the most expensive product like that without taking patient concerns of cost into consideration. He seemed more like a used car salesman, less like a doctor.

I initially went in with some apprehension, as I had previously had a negative experience with fillers. Mila was amazing! She designed a treatment plan that could be done all at once or in steps based on my level of comfort. We ended up doing my cheeks and lips, and a little xeomin. The results are better than I could have ever imagined! It looks natural and not overdone. Perfect outcome. She’s a true “expert” at what she does! Thank you for a great experience.

Wonderful place! Have absolutely helped my skin more than anything. Nancy is an angel, and does an amazing job with dermaplaning and is able to answer any questions I have. Can not recommend them highly enough!

I got the True sculpt done (1 session for flanks) and after that they threw in free Venus treatments (3-4 of them). I did lose some flankage but was hoping for them to be gone lol! Would I pay the money again to get that done? No. But they were very professional and never had me waiting for my appointment time and they tried to accomodate the time best for me.I would def come back here and get other treatments if I wanted.

I paid for a Groupon of 20 units of Dysport. I have only ever gotten Dysport at my dermatologist office but thought it was a good deal and I would try a new place. They made my appointment for 9:30am. I arrived at 9:15 and the entire office was dark & locked up. Another man was waiting in the hallway as well and said he had an appointment for 9. So not a great start. Finally around 10 they arrived & let us come into the office. I was taken into a consultation room & explained that I normally get 20 units in my forehead lines. The NP kind of scoffed and said she would do what she could but not to expect much with just 20 units (I had just called me derm on the way there to make sure that’s the amount I usually get). She then pulled out an entire binder and tried selling me on other products. I told her I wasn’t interested as I had already been waiting in the hallway for the office to even open & I just wanted the Dysport. Was taken to another room where the NP didn’t even mark on my forehead where she would inject. She did 2 short injections and said that was it. I honestly don’t even think it was 20 units. It’s now been about 2 weeks and I HARDLY notice any difference at all so basically I wasted $100. I will not be back here & just stick to Beavercreek Dermatology at least I can trust that I’m actually getting what I’m paying for. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I have been coming here for several years for several different treatments and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Danielle at the front has always been so helpful with scheduling and always has a smile on her face. I will continue to visit Jiva Med Spa!

My friend and I had pleasant experience at Jiva Med Spa. The laser session did work however not as fast as we expected. I did Brazilian and they said that it would take from 8-12 sessions to completely get rid of the unwanted hair. i completed 5 session however only about 40% at most of my hair is gone.Dont deposit the money upfront if they ask you to do so. you will be asked to deposit $50 to $100 down to keep the same discounted price for the next package. those are NOT REFUNDABLE. you can find the same discounted price on groupon.

Jiva med spa is great! Dr. Nanda and his staff are incredible, easy to work with and super friendly!! I was more than pleased with the service as well as the large selection of take home cosmetics. without a doubt, I would recommend Jiva Med Spa to anyone living with damaged/scarred skin.

I went to Jiva with a Groupon for 40 units of Botox for $348. Once I arrived, I met with the doctor who told me I was ready for filler, as well, even though I had a mask on and he could only see my forehead...The injector told me 40 units was not enough for my forehead, 11s, and crows feet and charged me an additional $480 for another 40 units. I have been getting botox for many years and have NEVER had this many units or paid this much. After two weeks, there was still quite a lot of movement and at four weeks, you could barely tell Id had botox. I called to schedule an appointment to discuss the poor results and couldnt get in until I was 7-8 weeks out from the first injection. The injector suggested botox may no longer work for me and we could try Jeuveau. She proceeded to give me the same number of units of Jeuveau but I didnt get quoted a number - I was charged $800 and, again, had barely any results two weeks later. After wasting over $1600 at Jiva, I went to Dr. Cova for a touch-up with botox that gave me PERFECT results at a price Im much more accustomed to. I would strongly recommend against going to Jiva for these types of injections. I am beyond disappointed.

Got a Groupon as a gift for a massage and was not disappointed! Facility is clean and relaxing. Left the massage feeling refreshed and relaxed. Ashley did a great job focusing on my problem areas and would recommend her.

This place is the WORST. In fact, words would FAIL me to tell you how terrible this place is, the folks that work here are just downright RUDE. They BUTCHERED my friends face -- a simple hair turned into a blistered nightmare.Time will only tell if they left permanent scars.Oh, the worst part?? It was just before a wedding and the staff at Jiva did NOTHING. Heck, they wouldnt even refund the procedure.If youve read this, consider yourself warned.

I purchased a couples massage for my son and his new bride as a wedding gift. The staff called and cancelled their appointment the day of the massage. The reasoning was they were short staffed and didn’t have 2 massage therapists and they would not reschedule. I am very disappointed. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Ineffective laser hair removal. I had 7 sessions here with no results. I strongly recommend Milan Laser, where I go now. I even bought unlimited bikini and legs after Milans facial treatments impressed me. Forget Jiva. Waste of money.

On my 6th treatment and very happy with both the staff and services. The cost was very reasonable and much better than my former provider. Love the Alaston Hydratint Mineral Sunscreen that was recommended by Danielle!

They are AWFUL. I saw a deal on Groupon for laser hair removal so I went to get one part done. When I got there, they convinced me to do my whole body, which cost MUCH MUCH MORE. I asked about my dark spots as well, and they told me it was easy to remove, and they took money for both the hair removal and the dark spots. I trusted them because all of them, the nurses, workers, and doctor were nice, so I believed them. I paid for everything. Now my dark spots are the same. Nothing changed during the treatment or after. For the hair removal, they used a type of laser that didnt work for me, and I kept telling them that it doesnt seem to be working, so about half way through treatment, they changed the laser to another one, and again I didnt see any results whatsoever. By the time they switched me to the third laser my treatments were already over. I told them that the hair is still growing, and they added one more treatment. Now its been about three months, and my hair is growing normally, as if I didnt do anything. And my dark spots havent changed either. They tricked me and used pretty words to get me to pay a lot of money, they care more for the money than for the thoughts and feelings of their customers. And they pretend to be good and care about your opinions, but they dont actually care. And I am now preparing to sue them.

Tried to scam me for $500. Recently visited this place in hopes to return to tattoo removal services, I have paid at most $75 per session at Dayton south dermatology and this fidgety doctor here tried to make me may $500 per session and claimed it was for machine upkeep. If you’re looking for ANY tattoo removal services do NOT go here.

I have been in the process of getting a tattooed removed and I couldn’t be happier with the results and the professionalism that the staff here has given, they are welcoming , kind and caring through the process , I would recommend anyone to them ! Bought a Groupon from a place who went out of business before I was done with my treatments. Jiva took on the remaining balance of treatments at no additional cost. They didn’t have to do that. They have been really nice and the treatment painless.

Dr. Nanda, I just needed to tell you I feel SO amazing!!! THANK YOU! I think my hormones have been a mess for decades! Possibly since I began having children. I don’t recall the last time I felt this good. My sleep is great, moods are balanced-I feel joyful-I feel like myself again! I’ve lost 12 pounds and have made no dietary changes. I was so “afraid” of Hormone Replacement Therapy prior to receiving but I was feeling horrible! My mental, emotional and physical health was completely deteriorating! I knew it! I felt like my life was literally ending-I’m only 49!!! No one should feel this way! I was angry and felt betrayed by my family, the medical society EVERYONE! No one speaks about the detrimental effects this imbalance causes-at least not in a blunt way it can be heard by everyone! It’s serious! Antidepressants and anti anxiety medication were absolutely NOT an option for me! I’m not into bandaid cures-I want to fix the issue! This has been a life saver for me! Again, thank you! From the depths of my soul! Thank you!

I would not recommend this place to anyone.I was treated very badly and they have no respect for their costumers. I paid so much money for laser hair removal and spider veins and I left with very bad dark spots all over my leg and no results. I kept going back to them and every time I would wait for more than an hour in the office for the doctor to tell me its normal. When it comes to paying them they act so nice to you but when you go back to complain they are so rude and disrespectful!

The lady at the front desk when I brought in my Groupon she said I told you on the phone to take a screenshot that we would match it and had an attitude with me.. I ended up spending way more money and its been 2 weeks and I see no results at all for $430. I originally spent $169 with the 30% off on Groupon for dysport that was 40 units so I traded it in and literally got 28 units of Botox for $430 and I dont see a difference at all I got the lip flip and nothing. Ive had Botox many of times and Im thoroughly disappointed that I spend so much money and I cannot see any results at all two weeks ago today

I frequented here for almost a year, so I got to know Dr Nanda and the staff fairly well. Everyone is really nice, and they try to help any way they can.They offer a variety of services including but not limited to laser hair removal, hormone replacement therapy (only for hormonal imbalance, not gender changes), Botox and fillers, chemical peels, massage therapy, cool sculpting, ultherapy (body sculpting), tattoo removal, etc.They dont offer so-called guarantee packages on laser hair removal, but they do offer treatment bundles, which is kinder on the wallet.They dont accept insurance on their services, except for blood work involved in hormone therapy.All consultations with the Dr are free, so you dont have to worry about paying for something you arent yet sure about. You cant receive treatment for anything other than massage without a consultation.This place is definitely difficult to see from the road. Its in the same building as Stahl Lasik vision center. Though the website says its located near the Green it is NOT in the Green.

I purchased the 40 unit Botox Groupon. During the injections I could feel Botox running down my face even with an assistant wiping. Results after 24 hours would indicate that little more than 20 units were actually injected.On a positive note the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I purchased 40 units of botox on groupon. I told Dr. Nanda that its plenty enough to split for my forehead and glabellar lines, since Ive done it many times before. He put most of it in my forehead and I could feel the bulk of it running down my face. Upside, I couldnt move my forehead for quite awhile .Downside, it did nothing for my glabellar lines AND my left eye drooped for months.

Got a 90 minute massage and paid for it up front. I had to schedule out 2 weeks in advance. The day of, I received a text saying the masseuse was sick and had to reschedule. Unfortunately, they knew I was moving and said they could issue a refund! Wouldnt recommend you run the risk of your appointment being cancelled last minute.

I , of course, got the groupon scam again. They lure you in with one thing and turn it all around.I agree with several of the comments on here about About the Dr at Jiva, being SO Pushy! Like a USED CAR DEALER!He spoke so fast and so much hype about himself.Wow! Who’s so vain! I got the one laser treatment and of course the one on the groupon was not the one he would use on my complexion. How did he know this before I got there and had the other machine, right by the treatment chair??? Convenient, I’d say. Well, the Groupon. That I had paid for and was now sitting in the chair with his assistant at the ready. With my lazer glasses on...he says, i will apply the Groupon to this machine dollar for dollar. So, I think, great, Im getting the better machine. Oh no!He continues...so this treatment is $300 and you’ll need about 10 of these and this special cream and I can do free financing, so on lets just make it $3,100. He taps his head set and ask his other assistant to bring in the paperwork ( and that came in fast) and while I’M being lazered in the chair, wait let me sign this paper!!!I did not sign the paper, but I did spend $90, for the “special “ cream. Which I later looked online, it’s a high fuluting scar cream. And another $200 towards the lazer. So, the whole thing was an extra $300 plus the Groupon.I am so tired of getting scammed that this time I stuck up for myself. I put a stop payment on the check and called his office , left him a stern voicemail, no dirty words. Just, I read the Groupon and it didn’t say that the certain lazer was not available. I told him he could sue me, but people. I speak for us all when I say. No more rip offs!He will be calling me back, Im sure. I’ll keep you posted. Everyone have a good evening!

Ive been trying to schedule a massage with them from A Groupon I purchased for the past 40 days. Have never gotten ahold of a person on their phone line or social media and not even sure this business exists. Its been over a month now so Ive lost hope that anyone works their phones at all.

I booked an appointment over the phone. When I showed up they told me they didn’t have an appointment for me. They were rude and unapologetic. Very unprofessional in my opinion. It took a week for them to even call me back to book this appointment. Very frustrating. There’s plenty of good spas in this area. Don’t even waste your time with them.

Do not get a massage from Ruth. She was super awkward, and her technique was rubbing the same spot so much it felt sand paper. It sucks because this place seemed so legit. Beautiful location right by the Greene.
