Ended the night here for our Bachelorette party, and the vibes were great! Everyone was kind, the drinks were more reasonable than anywhere else, and it felt safe at Tribe. Will be returning for a good time with my friends! Gotta try some of the food next time.

I like the place but felt out of place because i am a gay man. I thought it was a gay bar but 90% of the customers were women. Women dressed like 14 year old Taylor Swift. If you like girls night out you will have a great time.

Great local bar. More mature than Play and very laid back. Plenty of space for dancing and the bar staff was cute and attentive. Definitely recommend for the 21+ crowd. I had a good time there with my friend and we met some interesting people. Highly recommend for a laid back local bar experience.

We had a drink here prior to our boarding Big Drag Bus. Bartender was sweet, bar was clean, had fun music playing. We didn’t eat there, so I cant comment or rate that.

Crowded in the bar area these days...but very kind people -Kylie Minogue bought me a glass of wine once. Once I finally order food here, I will be able to add a photo of it. Until then, I look so thirsty I think I need it -

We chilled here for a bit while waiting on our drag bus... the people are amazing, drinks and shots were made well, and the atmosphere really gets you in the mood to party! Loved it❤️

As stated by other reviews the bartenders favor their friends over everyone else. They clearly have a preference over the people they know versus new guests. Id recommend going elsewhere.

The best folks and the best bar! We absolutely LOVE Their Big Drag Bus experience. Easily the best party bus in Nashville! It was our favorite experience throughout our whole three night stay. We WILL be back!

Always an incredibly welcoming location with friendly faces everywhere. The outdoor area is GLORIOUS! Highly recommend for a wonderful time.

This is a little delayed from a visit on 8/11/23. We visited Tribe before the early show at play. My friend was visiting from out of town so this was a surprise for him. First half of the suprise was a complete bust. It shows our tab was closed at 8:21pm and we probably got there around 7pm. In the waiter section, it says 52X-MAS so I do not know the bartenders real name. It was early, so it was not crowded and we were one of the only small groups at the bar. We originally sat at the bar and later moved to a table. The bartender was the opposite of friendly and almost seemed annoyed that he had to serve us. He was one way with us and complete opposite with people he knew that walked in early for their shifts next door. Service definitely needs some work and I dont know, at least pretend to like the people you are serving. I asked for an itemized bill which obviously annoyed him. He just seemed super annoyed having to serve us in general. Drinks were fine, food was fine, he was not. Compared to the service next door, this was embarrassing and we will find somewhere else to eat and get drinks before the show next time.

Worst place in Nashville. They are homophobic, even though this is a gay place.If you are in Nashville and want to have fun, please avoid this place. Trust me. They have bad service and choose who they want to be served. I would spend my entire day here writing about the bad experience that I had last Sunday, but reading the reviews, I could see that other people were saying the same thing. Again AVOID!

Hands down, one of the best gay bars weve been to anywhere in the country. The pretzel and chicken tenders are great. The service was fantastic! Cant wait to visit again!

Wednesday experience, had a blast with the Queens! Awesomely fun, also was able to enjoy a night tour with beautiful people and a beautiful city! Engaging to the MAX. No judgement zone. Great games, loads of laughs. The fun continued at Tribe after the ride. Loved the bathroom break (such a great idea) Carry on Queens!

I came here with some reservations because of some of the reviews I read. I just have to say that those reviews about discrimination need to be taken with a grain of salt. You’ll only get half the story online. I’ve not seen anyone be ignored by the staff regardless of their ethnicity. I also haven’t seen anyone get violent with someone else. Now, that may be because this is Sunday, but I really enjoy the vibe here. Very social and casual. The people here seem to just want to hang out and have a good time without the drama. Honestly, I believe most of the negative reviews were written by people that disrespected the staff or the bar and got put in their place.

This place is ok… I am not a fun of how the bartenders treat/server people of color with poor service. Me and a friend went to this place on 02/19/2023. All bartenders ignored me and my friend on propose and served anyone who wasn’t of color. It’s a shame that your own community is racist towards you in a place that’s supposed to be “safe” I don’t see myself coming back to a place that hires racist people.

Awesome and unexpected experience. Thought they would be one a stage, but the gals walk through the restaurant. She made her best effort to engage all the patron, no matter where you sat. The show was funny and entertaining.Bit crowded. Reservations are strongly recommended. Had to sit at the bar bit still had a great view. Bring some singles to tip😏Food is more like small plate items, still delicious. Bartender made the most amazing drinks.

Tribe is... hmm. Tribe is right next to play. Literally 3/4 of the gay bars in Nashville are on this one street. Whereas PLAY is large, boisterous, and for dancing, Tribe is chill and more of a lounge vibe. It seems more like a pre-game spot, even on the weekend. Each time Ive been its very sparsely populated. Im not going to comment on the diversity because its Nashville so... lol. They serve food here, but Ive never eaten it. Its renovated and has a large back patio area with 2 levels and a mural. The music is good. I think they show music videos on the screens. It usually doesnt have a cover. Overall, its pretty uninteresting to me. The last time I went was for halloween weekend and no-one was dancing, but I didnt want to spend 20 bucks to go to play. I ended up leaving Tribe because it was dull. I mean halloween weekend is like THE weekend for gays. How is it dull? So, I ended up sneaking into play lol.

Would not recommend coming here. Today is Saturday May 14th and some crazy person threw me on the ground while I was on the outside patio and started screaming at me. I ran inside to escape the harassment and this man followed me inside and started shoving me. The bouncer then starts to remove me out of the bar while I’m trying to escape this deranged man attacking me, and somehow I’m in the wrong? So, I decide to go next door to Play, pay the cover, and see the same bouncer in the other bar. I had paid for drinks and guess what!!! They kicked me out of that bar as well. Such discrimination and utter nonsense for someone minding his own business only to be attacked and punched by someone who was drunk in the bar. Save yourself the time, not worth a trip.

Just left this place. Vibe is relaxed and I had a good time chatting with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while- until I realized they had pregamed a little harder than I had expected and knocked over a table and the back of a booth... And two other people’s drinks. Through this embarrassing experience all the patrons were kind and understanding, and I have to give the place that. And a sex on the beach was cheaper than some crappier places I’ve been to so that was nice as well.

The bartender was annoyed to serve me. It seemed like if they didnt already know you, they didnt want to wait on you.

New level of toxic since they began having their monthly MeatUp event. This is no longer an inclusive bar. The same two that run MeatUp are the same two who ruined the Sugar Creek gay campground.

The atmosphere of this bar is so welcoming. The drinks and bartenders are amazing and attentive. The place is clean and has a huge dance floor and plenty of space to move about. You’ll meet some awesome people in this bar!

You guys should probably get more than one bartender on Thursdays with RuPaul showing! Especially considering the one bartender that was working tonight was so unpleasant and flat out rude. Never a smile. Never checked on us. Wasn’t able to get a second drink because he never once came back in 45 minutes to check. Then took over 10 minutes to even get someone to close out our tabs. Super disappointed.

Visited from out of town. Great if your White! After being ignored 3 rounds to order a drink. Bartender acted like he didnt see me even though he acknowledged me before. If youre racist you just proved it. Glad I flipped him off and left.

We had a very friendly bar tender, Orlando, and were traveling from out of state. Drinks were good and people nice. We are actually going back tonight as we pass back through from a 10 day vacation to try thier food.

Ive been there a few times but the last 2 time where not a good experience i went in when it wasnt busy clearly sittiing at the bar next to someone who had just got a drink and both bartenders where clearly not trying to take my drink so i left after 5 minutes. From the looks of the reviews im not the only customer/local thats had this experience.

No show. No food. No women. Its a sausage festival.

From closing early and then denying customers entry to your location so they can get back to their cars To fights out on the patio and then doing absolutely nothing about it after notifying staff and then on top of that.... No security check points at either door at both of your locations. You guys are Pulse Night Club all over again waiting to happen...Just give it time...

In Nashville for work and decided to give this place a shot. Found a bar that I could go to. Met new people and found my safe zone. Will definitely come back.

Drinks, bartenders and atmosphere are all great. Unfortunately, the DJ is terrible — he literally just plays YouTube videos over the same constant backbeat created by someone else. #replacedjremedy

Nice bar. Pediatrics behind the bar wearing wrinkly t-shirts gym shorts and gym shoes. Why??? If they were dressed appropriately the attitude would make more a sense.

This place suck I came to visit Nashville and some friends brought me here..Its bad enough that there are people who discriminatory towards gay but even worst when you have gay being racist towards you.The sad thing was this wasnt coming from other people who where visiting the bar ..Only coming from the staff....this is not the gay bar for black...if I have a choice I would have not given them a star at all.. Worst PLACE IN NASHVILLE
