Massage Envy

My massage with Cindy was phenomenal. It’s been about 2 months since my last massage (as a dental hygienist and new mom it is necessary for body preservation). I scheduled a 90 minute massage and it felt like 3 hours—in the best way possible. I fell asleep because of how comfortable and relaxed she made me. Her voice was so soothing and calming, she was very conscious of how firm her pressure was, and was happy to adjust as needed. I could not recommend her more. I had a great experience.

This is the only Massage Envy that I know of with a couples suite. My husband and I have been several times. Deb is AMAZING! She works out the kinks, but provides a relaxing, pampered experience and is very professional. Will definitely book with her again!

Sarah was outstanding! Best massage I have ever had. The front desk staff at this location are all also fantastic. We have visited there many times now and always been highly impressed with a customer service and overall genuine welcoming environment. Highly recommended! Ask for Sarah, she is the bomb! 10/10

I started with Massage Envy about a year ago and see Gabrielle. She is awesome. Great pressure, great technique and I always feel so much better after having seen her. I highly recommend going to see her and book a 90 min session. Worth every penny!

Christell is awesome. I have been one of her clients since 2019. She is wonderful. I have extensive spine issues (total fusion) and I get aches and pains all over. Christell always makes me feel much better. She’s kind, professional and is an amazing massage therapist!

Massage Envy in Denver, NC is a well run business. The receptionists are always pleasant and friendly to customers. All the therapists I’ve used have been excellent practitioners. Sarah D is the therapist who I have used most often because she has the gift of being able to find and treat my trigger points most successfully. I always schedule future appointments with her after a treatment because she’s the best!!

Had an amazing massage with Sarah, even though the power was out in the area! They brought in battery operated fans and lights and made the best out of the situation when others might have packed it in for the day . Glad they persisted! Came in with a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. Sarah did a great job working out the knots and I feel so much better! Highly recommend Sarah and Massage Envy in Denver NC.

She is a talented massage therapist and I always feel a million times better after my session. If you arent a member, Id encourage you to consider it. Great place. Excellent staff. While I’m sure all the therapists are great, Christell is fantastic. She manages to work the pain out of my neck and back every time. Plus, she’s super-nice. I always leave feeling great.

I was having significant low back pain and tightness. Massage therapist Sarah D was able to improve my back pain by 90%. I scheduled another appointment to get my back at 100%. Reasonable prices and a very friendly, caring staff in Denver NC. Highly recommended.

Sarah’s massage overall was an eight out of 10 due to the fact that I laid down on the table at eight minutes after 12 and got there at 11:30 to fill out The necessary form prior to the massage. I was ready to have my massage 10 minutes till noon, but I sat there until five after 12 noon and was approached by Sarah to the massage room. She stepped out while I undressed and got on the table for the massage and was ready by eight minutes after 12 I looked at the clock when I heard the door knob open it was 12 minutes past noon when she said she was finished it was 11 minutes before the hour of one and I asked her if I could have five minutes to myself to resolve myself. She said she had another patient coming in so I dressed up and was out of the room by 12:58pm. This does not figure out right to me. You pay for an hour massage and you should have 60 minutes of massage there has to be allotted time in between those hours. Your body needs to compose itself, especially when you have some muscular and tendon issues to where you receiving massage. It’s good to slowly get from the table and let your blood flow back through your body so you can stand up, dress up and be on your way. I felt like I was cattle and was Waltzed into the corral and prodded out earlier than I expected also. So from 12 minutes after noon until 11 minutes before 1 PM that is 23 minutes of massage time that I did not receive. I think we all agreed that we should get what we pay for. Not really happy, not really satisfied. If you go to the dentist and they alot you one hour for your dentistry 99% of the time they may go past the hour to complete your dental work. I doubt that they’ll send you out and tell you to come back and they will finish your teeth later. I don’t think so. I have more analogies, but I don’t want to waste your time. I think scheduling should be adjusted to where you get 10 minutes prior to your appointment to get ready for your massage in 10 minutes to compose yourself and dress up and exit. It’s all math and scheduling properly.

Christell Pennington is the best! I went in with knots in my back area and came out with most of them gone! I already have another appointment scheduled with her. And the girls up front were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to go to!

Highly recommend Cristell if you’re needing a massage. She really does an amazing job, takes her time to listen to what you need done and works with you on making sure you leave feeling your very best. Will definitely be returning

Unfortunately , I must give a bad review. While the massage itself was good, the people that work at the desk are clearly incompetent and unwilling to standby their own errors. When I scheduled an appointment, I asked specifically if the service could be shared with my daughter. I was told yes. I booked the appointment. She had the service, and then they billed my credit card $125. When I called to ask why this happened they told me I could only share a service with my home location. I told them I would not have booked the service if they would’ve informed me that when I called to book the appointment. Rather than honor, what was told to me by their people at the front desk, they insisted that they needed to charge me for their error. Once again, a problem with our society, is people not taking responsibility for their own screw ups. I will never be back.

Always have a wonderful and relaxing experience with Christell. I suffer from several areas that can be quite painful and with her help, I recover quickly after my sessions. Its more than a lifestyle, its self preservation!

Sarah was amazing! She applied the right amounts of pressure where needed and all the knots in my shoulder are gone! The facility is very clean, front desk was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! I will definitely go back!

Sarah is awesome! She works extra hard on the troubled areas that I point out to her. The remainder of the 1 hr full body message is so relaxing that I dont want it to end.

Gabby is great. Fluent in the language of men like me.she has also good strong hands that don’t hurt me, knows how to treat my aches and pains, is knowledgeable about arthritis exercise , and understands skin in each section of the body. She is a font of tenderness and care

Over the years, I have been a member at 3 different Massage Envy locations and visited many others. The location in Denver, NC by far is the best location I have visited.It took seeing a few therapists to find the right one for me, and that is Christell. She is in the top 3 of massage therapist I have ever seen. She listens to what you need and many times finds tight muscles I did not even realize needed work.I highly recommend Massage Envy in Denver, NC and Christell.

I booked online on the app. I had an appointment for today at 11. I walked in and the guy at the desk fumbled around on the computer and said he didnt show I had an appointment. I showed him the calendar entry I had that I was sent when I made the reservation and he fumbled around a little more and then told me I cancelled my appointment yesterday. I told him I really needed the massage and had not cancelled, and all he could say was the system says you cancelled yesterday. No apology, no nothing. I guess The System is all that matters. I dont recommend this place at all, and if you do want to go, dont book online! The System sucks!

Booked a massage at this location. It was gifted to me so I didn’t ask for anyone in particular. Unfortunately, I wound up with who had to be the worst massage therapist(if you could call them that) I’ve ever had, Christell. I have never had such an unprofessional experience. Her room was absolutely thilthy. I almost left before it started but I wanted to give this location the benefit of the doubt. For an experience you are supposed to be relaxed, Christell makes you feel the complete opposite. I left tense and uncomfortable.I don’t know about the other massage therapists at this location, as the reviews seem pretty good at this location and I’ve never had a problem at Massage Envy before.

Very nice location, staff friendly, it just depends which tech you get for a massage. Sometimes you have to try a few different people to find one that can really work out the kinks (and not just give you a lotion rub)

Today, I had a wonderful facial by Melissa Vaughan. She took her time and did not make me feel rushed. First facial I have had that I actually fell asleep a time or two. I was so relaxed and refreshed once she was done. My husband commented on how soft and radiant my face felt and looked before I told him I had a facial. I will definitely return to see Melissa. Thanks for giving me your best work.

Booked an appointment that I put on my calendar as 6:00 showed up before 6:00 only to find out they had me booked for 5:00. I missed my appointment. Got charged $125 I am a new customer 1st ever massage 2 weeks ago and was coming in to sign up with this appointment. I assumed it was my fault but after looking at my calendar, I had put 6pm on my calendar when I booked, it could’ve been a miscommunication on their end I don’t know. Either way they could’ve worked with me. I literally was rescheduling that moment. $125.00 seriously?!? My sister has had frustrations with this company and I went anyway. Ugh

I have visited 3 times in the last 2 months for a facial with Melissa. I am absolutely blown away by the level of service she provided me during my 3rd visit. During my second visit, I mentioned that I had a minor wrist injury and asked that she be delicate when massaging my hand. When I arrived for my next facial, 2 weeks later, she immediately asked me how my wrist was feeling - which was very kind. To take it a step further, during the facial, she surprised me by massaging my wrist with BioFreeze, which provided instant relief. She even sent me home with some extra! It was a very thoughtful gesture. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable. It’s rare to get this level of service nowadays. Thank you so much, Melissa!

After experiencing pain in my lower back for a couple of weeks. I decided to go to a professional and get a massage with some stretching. I felt great afterwards....Best decision of my life!!! I will definitely go once or twice a month!

This store might as well be ran by AI for all the empathy they show. They charged for a full massage after a mix up in scheduling without even trying to figure out how the mix up happened. The manager only cares about their bottom line with no regard for their customers.

Dont book online! When I showed up for my appointment the receptionist told me that my appointment was canceled, that I should have been called this morning. I told the receptionist I was never called. She asked me if I booked online, I said yes. She said she tells people not to book online!
