The Fix Massage

There arent enough stars to give The Fix Massage, they are amazing! I happened to hear about The Fix from a Physical Therapist who was raving about her experience so I definitely wanted to give it a try if it could be that impressive to a PT. I have since been back multiple times and each time the experience is uniquely tailored to my needs, and we work on the areas that my PT suggests. Its like I have a team! Since I found the fix, Ive referred 3 other people and they rave about their experiences too.If you are looking for someone to do medical massage, trigger points, and a variety of other modalities based on your specific needs, this is the place for you. Also, there arent up charges for cupping or other things that many studios charge. Best massage in Denver by far!The studio is light, beautiful and clean and located in the cutest building on Pearl Street in Platte Park. During the massage, one of my favorite parts is the Sound Table, Ive never had a massage on one before and now Im hooked. I have a chronic foot disorder that causes a lot of pain and tightness throughout my body, for the first time, I leave a massage feeling better than I came in.

I would recommend Clarity to anyone who is suffering nerve disfunction and pain.Note - this is a longer than usual review as I want to share my honest opinion so you can decide for yourself whether she is a fit.I would highly recommend Clarity to anyone seeking clinical massage and/or bodywork. She is one of the best practitioners I have ever had work on my body and injuries in the past 20 years. I do not say this lightly. As a former elite basketball player, amateur elite 5KM runner, and someone who summited all the 14ers in 6 months – I like to play hard and have beaten my body up in the process. Over the years, I have learned that not all massage and bodyworkers (clinical workers) are the same, and there is nothing more disappointing than paying for a service that does not improve your situation when in pain. In this spirit, below is my honest and accurate experience with Clarity. And yes, it is longer than the usual review, but my goal is to lay out my experience accurately and allow you to decide for yourself whether you are a fit for her.Duration of relationship: 5 months – several times a month and ongoing.Issue: Unexplainable foot drop, nerve issue, and numbness of the lower limbs yet no pain. As well as the stress from an emotionally taxing recent divorce.Specialists Opinion: Surprised since I was so young to have an unexplained foot drop without pain, recommended and treated my lower back disc with an epidural and post-epidural said I would never run again (October 2023) specialist.Outcome To Date:(1) My PT has been floored by my progress since working with Clarity – he didn’t think it was possible for me to regain so much control of my foot let alone be running anytime soon.(2) I will be running by April (this brings tears to my eyes).(3) I am walking 7 miles a day, lifting weights, doing PT, and remaining pain and numbness-free.(4) Emotionally more balanced and happier.What Clarity Did that was different:(1) She really listened to my issues and dissected the problems with me. As she would say – massage and/or bodywork is a joint effort (practitioner and patient). This led her to work on my feet and calves whereas all medical practitioners only wanted to work on my back. This was earth-shattering and life-changing since no PT, Sports Doctor, nor specialist had identified that any other body part except my back was the cause, leaving me with numbness and unable to work out, work, or walk until November 2023.-----> Anyone with my injury will tell you that it is not necessary the primary nerve impingement but the secondary ones that need to be treated. NOTE – my PT now suggests I have Clarity work on the lower limbs, especially the feet to make progress (and for the record after kissing many frogs – my PT is one of the best in town – Mike Miller out of SCL health – if curious).(2) She meets me where I am at: If you’ve ever had back and/or nerve injuries you will know that stress aggravates them and sometimes its not only the movement but rather the soothing and/or emotional support massage/bodywork can provide. Clarity has identified several times where I need a softer more emotional touch and delivered that healing which surprisingly my body responded as well with as if she intensely focused on just the clinical.(3) Delivered results that I never imagined possible.I do not say this lightly, Clarity restored hope and MOVEMENT when the conventional health professionals had done all they could. Through a combination of PT and massage/clinical body work I am on the cusp of running, which until recently was impossible.

My massage with Clarity was so wonderful. From the very beginning, she spent so much time with me to understand my current physical and emotional state and my goals. She made sure that she understood my needs and understood what I was looking for. The massage was absolutely wonderful and one of the best I’ve had. The table she uses is incredible and Clarity’s massage work in general was terrific. I truly can’t wait to go back!

The Fix Massage and Clarity are truly outstanding in every respect.One of my main goals from bodywork is to allow me to enjoy all my athletic and outdoor activities to the highest level possible. I communicated this objective to Clarity during our first visit and she has made that goal her mission!Clarity’s skillset goes far beyond the typical massage therapist. I have enjoyed many sessions with Clarity and not one was the same as the others. This is unusual in that with other therapists, I can oftentimes predict just what the session will entail and there is little deviation from that pattern. But in the case of Clarity, she brings not only years of experience, but a wealth of knowledge and skills of many different types of bodywork and techniques for relaxation, rehabilitation, injury prevention, mobility, and flexibility.The atmosphere, linens, music, tables, lighting, and vibe are all just right and contribute nicely to the experience.Clarity has the ability, via her highly skilled fingers, to find areas of tightness of muscle and fascia and decide what technique and/or tools to use to soften those areas and restore movement and relieve pain.In addition to Clarity’s skills, she’s also sweet and compassionate and easy to talk to!I have worked with dozens of body workers and massage therapists over the past 40 years, and I can state without hesitation that Clarity is the very, very best. She’s a true master of her craft!

AMAZING! I’m a physician and my friend and I booked last minute massages here. Clarity was so accommodating of our tight schedules, even booking the day before. I’ve had a lot of massages and can say this one was EXCELLENT. Clarity was awesome at listening to my requests and checking in frequently to make sure my massage was exactly how I wanted it. The vibroacoustic table and weighted blanket were fabulous touched too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Clarity was amazing! I went to her for a prenatal massage. She made sure I was comfortable through the entire massage. Not only was it relaxing, she was able to work some tense areas that were in need of attention. Highly recommend for prenatal or traditional massage.

I didnt even know how good a massage could be until I got on Claritys magic carpet massage table. Sound healing, vibrational healing, and without a doubt the most experienced massage therapist Ive ever worked with. It was so much more than just a massage or the bodywork Ive experienced at other spas where you choose shiatsu or deep tissue or thai massage or cranial sacral and then the massage therapist rubs your back in the way you specified. Clarity talked to me about where I was feeling pain, my history and my goals of how I wanted to feel, came up with a plan for how to get me there, not just with different styles of massage and bodywork, but with assisted stretching, cupping, sound and vibrational healing, and a bunch of massage technology I didnt even know existed. Its one thing to be a master of massage techniques and styles, but another to create a program that combines just the right techniques over a series of sessions to completely change someones life. I came to Clarity with intense planar fasciitis that was making it painful to walk, and chronic upper back pain that Ive been suffering with for 20 years. Ive tried acupuncture, chiropractic, trigger point injections, yoga and so many other techniques with little to no relief. One session with Clarity did more than all those other approaches combined, and after completing the massage program she created for me, my chronic pain is gone. Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is far beyond anything I expected or have experienced. I had perhaps the very best massage of my life. Working in construction I get a lot of overuse of my shoulders but Clarity helped me so much. I feel brand new again. Will definitely be coming back.
