Good little neighborhood gay bar. Everything was good . Only things I hope they would change Saturday 7/27 went in for Latin night and drag show was not with latió music. Drag host is great but just one thing she uses a microphone no need to scream. Other than that it was fun.

We had a wonderful time a few weeks ago. Wonderful fun Saturday night with old friends and made some new friends. This was our first time as Rascals since moving to Florida a few months ago.

Im new to the area and the LGBTQ+ community seems very protective of their own here. Ive gone the last few weekends and the more I attend, the more I try to enjoy it. The bar staff could be a little more on point (the party Ive been going with have been tipping an average of $5 per drink and we still have to wait for service), but again its probably a tight knit community. Diaphragm versus bladder. I just cant grasp such a strong desire to keep me away. Whatever Im a silver dollar, a real one will holla at some point. Not just the drug riddled rabble.

No food, poor service, decent atmosphere provided by the visiting patrons as opposed to the staff. Each time Ive been here Ive had to greet the people working so that I am able to get service. However, tonight I was greeted, but only to be told there was a two drink minimum in order for me to even participate in the festivities. Then when asking if our table could place an order we were told that we needed to go to the bar... something along the lines of This is a bar, we dont have servers.

This is my comfort place. I love coming here and bringing people here. I love Rascals!(I only put no stars for food because they don’t sell food but you’re welcome to order food and have it delivered there which I think is perfectly fine)

This place is for EVERYONE! You will have a good time lgbtq or not. Karaoke on Wednesdays from 8pm-1am is great!

LOVED this place! Great local spot with friendly people. I won twice at drag queen bingo. It was so much fun we were there twice in one day. Again the next day.

Worst place I have ever been in fort Myers. Rude staff, dirty bathrooms, no food, shows are always late and not really all that good!

They say it close. At 2am after you buy last drink they turn light on at 1:30 and kick everyone out at 1:40 ! They sure put that they closet at 1:40 not 2am

Love this place! Karaoke on Wednesdays at 8 pm and goes till 1 am.

The staff here is super rude and they will start kicking you out a half an hour before they’re listed close. I was waiting on my Lyft to get here to safely return me home and the bartender (which I spent well over $100 on one night) said you’re not special, get out. I was just trying to go home safely but instead this establishment doesn’t care about the safety of its patrons and just caddie prods you for cash and leaves. If you want a true and accepting place for LGBT people in this area, GO TO CRUISERS. I have never experienced such a rude staff at an establishment that is supposed to be accepting until I have been here. I will never be back and do not reccomend to even my worst enemy.

Rascals is my local close to home bar. The best times are just hanging playing the jukebox and social interactions with staff and customers. The shows and events could be streamlined so the customers can socialize. Roger and a few bartenders are awesome. They have fun and keep the bar service quick and engaging. A few bartenders may insult you at times as they get to involved with drama. They are easy to avoid when you are there to forget your own pressures of work. Met friends there that I would never have met anywhere else. Definitely a gay mans place!

We visited Saturday night and were treated so horribly by the bartender that we feel unsafe returning. We were ridiculed for our drink order and publicly embarrassed by the short, younger, shirtless bartender at the inside bar. He created a very hostile environment and triggered the PTSD of a friend, causing the need for an ER visit due to a severe anxiety attack. The seriousness of the hostility leads to this review.

While customers were friendly to me as a newcomer, staff lacked enthusiasm. A drink or shot on break, I guess if its allowed....a bartender had 6 shots while I waited for 1? I just finished bingo and had a last drink outside and left. I wasnt concerned about the cost, I paid $40 for round trip fare, so I was prepared to spend to enjoy a day out. Just wondering how many missed opportunities have happened due to employees lacking interest in customer satisfaction regardless if they are new or coming every day for years. Kudos for having a separate smoking area.

Today was my first time at Rascals. I needed to break up the day and relax and this place was perfect. From the bartender Dreka, to the amazing atmosphere outside on the patio. Had a fun time and will definitely be becoming a regular to this spot. Still have yet to check an event but if they are run by the people working today Im sure they are just fantastic. Thanks for an awesome afternoon!

First time here. Love the place and the environment it has. I dont like to rate a place low, but to have a 50 dollar minimum to use your debit or credit card is absolutely ridiculous. They are trying to take your money or at least feels like it. If you are a drinker come here, but if you arent stay away. Now a 2 drink stop will cost me 50 dollars.

The bartenders Jay, and drinker never mind I may not spelled it right but they R amazing bartenders. When your glass is 3/4 down, they are prompt to ask you for another drain. They stick a napkin down first and then meet you and greet you. This is an amazing place to meet great friends and have a great time. Thank you.

I have been coming to this place since they opened the doors for years I am a costumer but the last few times the service is horrible especially on Tuesdays!!!

Used to be good until the staff decides to serve who they like the best and apparently there’s no set price for drinks. Almost every time we go to purchase it’s a different price. Place has gone down hill. Some of the bar staff are cockey and downright rude.

It’s a Gay bar in Ft Myers had a great time with my friends for the night we like to go out and have fun.

It was a good-ish time.. but they served my friend a PBR that expired 10 months ago and I didn’t feel quite right after a shot & a red bull vodka. It was concerning really.. I wouldn’t go as far as saying I was slipped a Mickey.. but something wasn’t right. I might go again, but I definitely would not get a drink there.

It’s a really small bar with an outdoor patio/bar and it may seem like some average old sports bar but the bar staff and performers make it a fun and inviting place to hang out. Drinks are extremely reasonably priced for the most part and the bartenders make great mixed drinks but I just wish they had an actual drink menu with maybe some signature drinks. The crowd is on the older side but everyone is so friendly and willing to have a conversation with you that you’ll still feel welcome! I went to my first drag show here and thoroughly enjoyed each performer and didn’t want it to end!

The three stars are for the drinks.This place is hostile towards tourists. The whole vibe of the place was cliques(ish). This bar serves more towds loacls than anything else.Definitely would not recommend if youre just traveling through the area.

I visited on Dec 8 for my brothers birthday. It wasnt busy on a Tuesday night, but Colton and John took great care of us. They serve bar food inside, and everything tasted great! During the week there is a pool table and karaoke. On the weekends it shifts to a DJ, the pool table is put away, and the dance floor comes to life. There is a bar inside, and one outside on the patio as well. Both bars offer ample seating. We came back on Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we received excellent service from John and Justin. These two plus another bartender showed extraordinary compassion and service in making sure we got an Uber to get back safely. Thank you guys so much!! Well return.

Smaller bar, but makes use of the indoor and outdoor space. Best nights to visit are Friday and Saturday. The drag shows are pretty good I enjoy. The staff is friendly for the most part and drinks are good. The nights when they have a DJ it would be nice to change up the music. Overall it is what you make of it.

Shout out to Ryan for being a responsible bartender. (Stoic INFJ)We came into Rascals late in the night a few weeks ago, having had already been served at other bars. He refused to serve us gracefully. We sat and conversed while he provided us all the water we wanted- and even asked us for no tip. (I sometimes think, “Since we’re not driving, we can party all we want.” But he made the point that people often lie about driving, so I completely understood. He didn’t make us feel bad; instead, he let us hang out to enjoy the ambiance.)The point is, whether good or bad at first glance, every customer matters when they walk into his stratosphere. Ryan is as good as any bartender could ever dream of being.

Its so much more than a bar. Its a community! Bartenders are fantastic. Very little drama but lots of queens. Fair prices, specials each week and food served Friday, Sunday and Tuesday p.m. I just love this place! Straight folk come here because of the fun and welcoming atmosphere. EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ACCEPTED WITH SMILES AND GREAT SERVICE.

Rascals is a very special place to me. I am a straight female and they welcomed me with open arms. Feels like family. Its fun and friendly. Great atmosphere. Bingo is very fun and exciting. Roy is hilarious. Brad, Sean, and even Nathalie are amazing. Oh yeah the bartenders are so sweet. The first day I met Rodger I fell in love. And then Eric, Ricky, Ceasar omg the sweetest and nicest people Ive ever met.I love going to Rascals. Im at peace when Im there. I have a great time. Great snacks amazing drinks. Even the customers like myself are amazing. Just the sweetest. And the drag shows..... Absolutely Amazing. Theres no other place Id rather be.. Keep it up Rascals.

Ive been going to Rascals since it opened, its the only decent gay bar in the area. The staff are friendly, and the owners are nice. I would have given it five stars except for the indoor smoking. The patio is a good place to smoke, why allow indoor smoking? Now the place smells like stale smoke.

Too LOUD! You cant have a conversation without having to yell at whoever you are trying to talk to. My review would be higher if they would just turn the volume down a notch or two. Staff is TOP notch, drinks are good shows are fun.

Great place! VERY reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Friendly customers. Ill definitely go back. The happy hour crown has a CHEERS feel to it. Im impressed, highly. Ft Myers really needed this addition to the gay community. The other places are such HOLES.

I’ve been to this place countless of time but on 1 occasion went with some friends and one of the queens there ignored her purposely a few times. It’s not the first time I’ve heard people say things about this queen. Maybe she needs to open up her ears a little bit. Anytime anyone has ever complained about someone there they are blocked by said establishment. I guess some people can’t take criticism. For a place so open to all they should be open to all opinions. Didn’t expect this from rascals

I would visit this bar very regularly as I was new in town and it was close to my house. I was starting to become a regular and I really enjoyed going on the weekend to play bingo. I ended up winning during bingo this September 2018 a trip for 2 to Fort Lauderdale and I was excited as anyone would/should be. I left my contact information and was told that someone/owner would reach out to me to schedule the booking and I never heard anything even after two weeks of winning. I made an attempt to go back to the bar to speak with someone/owner and even left the dates and there was still no reply even after I was told to write down the dates. Fast forward to November 2018 I even reached out at least 3 times via emails to contact the owner and I was told that it would be booked and I have still not heard anything regarding a booking or confirmation. Im not sure if this is something that just happened to me or if anyone else had problems with claiming their prize but it was pretty disappointing. The only other issue is that its really smokey inside. I will say that Eric the bartender is the best and Ginger Snaps the bingo host are really friendly and great at what they do.

Not to be impressed if you come from a big city and you have seen some gay clubs around the globe but maybe thats its charm. Its your regular sports/pool bar with a gay crowd of mostly regular patrons from the area. The music/video clips selection is pretty good, the drinks are very affordable (thanks) , bartenders are cool and fast to help and the overall cleaness is up to standards. Unfortunately it gets smokey inside and outside. People just smoke everywhere, would be nice if half of patio would be marked Non Smoking Area , also three or four gogos would increase assistance and revenue. I will definitely come back and recommend.

Wow . Totally disappointed . What used to be a non-smoking bar with ample open-air patio for those choosing to smoke, I entered a smoked filled indoor bar with an outdoor patio for more smoking. Bartender says half the indoor area is smoking. Really? Its 2016 and this place used to be the nicest place in Fort Myers. Guess Ill stay home.

Came out with a gay friend of mine raven/bobby the bartender draka saved myself by charging my E-CIGARETTE and tried out jackson’s and had a burger and let me sayyyyyyyyyy it was so damn good trust me everyone here is so nice a very nice people make you feel like home I highly recommend going here if not i’ll buy you a shot HAHAHAHA

Came to visit w/ mother and partner & Crystal Ballz was an amazing yet fun Bingo host. We had so much fun we had to come back for a second round. Entirely different crowd, host, and bartenders and had just as much if not-more fun as the day prior! A big shout out to two awesome peeps we met. Chris the karaoke host/great singer-entertainer (whom I think my mother was Googly-eyed over lol) and John the cute bartender the was supper attentive to my partners and I needs! Ps thanks for the hat!!! Lmao (Whom we thought was rather attractive too lol) the food was easy baked but the entertainment made it rather valuable and provides comfort if you catch my drift. Haha.

NICE bar except for the smoking indoor .Florida has nice weather why allow indoor smoking? Most states ban smoking even in cold states .The owner doesnt care about the non-smokers being the only bar.Cant say the G word!

Dont go here if you are a woman. The security team said I could not stand up on the patio. While the men were OK to stand. When I mentioned it I was asked to leave. While sitting I was yelled at in my face while I started crying and was forced into the rain. Ive never been treated with such disrespect and outright shovenistic behavior. My friends (2 other girls) had only been here 10 minutes when this incident happened. Not a safe place for LGBT women. Stay away.

My favourite local hangout since its opening in Aug 2o13. Rascals has been an active member of the community from the start. Taco Tuesday is great, hanging out Sunday afternoons with the bowlers is fun and most other nights. Owner and staff are a very friendly group. I came from Detroit where gay bars are in the worst, crime ridden areas. Not the case here!!! Much success to Jack & crew

Visited from out of state a couple weeks ago.. space was okay but coming from a progressive city I thought we did away with smoking indoors like a decade ago. The younger guy tending bar rubbed his forehead then left a grease stain on my glass. Yeah no thanks. Worth a try if you have to; maybe i just had a bad experience but if I had to live here full time and this was my best option Id rather sit at home with a cigarette and oxygen tank... go to lauderdale or orlando instead

I go to this place a few times a month for shows and a great night out. Bartenders, shows, drinks and all the peops are always a great time!

James, Rick, and Tiffany make for a triad of good vibes. Good drinks, fair prices, clean space, pretty great DJ. Its a bit small, but its got great atmosphere, plus you can smoke inside and out!

ALERT! ALERT!! ALERT!!!What a disappointing trip back here. Apparently in 2016 (yes, 2016) when nearly every major metropolitan area bans smoking, and Rascals used to, they have implemented a reversionary smoking policy, in their space the size of a house, that resembles a 727. Smoke in one side, not on the other, but youll still be subjected to the stench either way.This is sad, because this bar had so much potential and promise, but bowing to the past will keep me, my friends and my dollars away.

Relaxed, inviting atmosphere where you can come in and have a nice drink and spend time with good people.

Unfortunately on 2 different occasions I have been over charged wrong amounts on my card, (and Im not talking about the 15 dollar hold) I have talked to the Manager and Bar Manager I get the same answer they will take a look in to it but never do, so I dont trust rascals anymore, because after this I get that fir them is OK to steel fron their guests cards.

Latin night with no Latin talent. English songs performed and half the drags dont know lyrics or how to dance to Spanish music. Very sad came from Alaska to this . Wow .

Thought this place was non smoking but went in last Monday and the bartender was sitting there lighting up one after the other. Not the place I thought it was I might as well go to the Office that has hotter guys anyway.

As Uber driver theres a good place to pick up and drop off riders. Everybody visited this place said the enjoy a lot.
