I was here today and ordered the Greek Salad. The salad was enough for two people! It was awesome! What great girls that work here and took the time to engage in small talk. This particular girl was sweet as pie. (It was early afternoon) thank you D’Jais for another great meal. Keep it up and never change.

This is the greatest place on gods green earth. Also the bartenders gotta stop charging $6 a grail. They’re 5 bucks and they’re immune to inflation. This is djais $1.50 hot dog. Don’t change the price on me

Went here for the first time while visiting family in NJ. We sat outside to enjoy the breeze since it was such a hot day! Our server brought out the food before our drinks, which we ordered first. And when the food came out she forgot our condiments which we needed to enjoy our food. Finally, we had everything we requested after asking for it at least twice. Oh yea, and she never introduced herself, which should have been the first thing she did. Just stop the type of service I expected. The food was good, though.

Came here for Christmas in July party and it was a done of fun. Had some drink they were called Grails and they were good. Staff was not very friendly

We were denied entry after waiting 2 hours because we were gay men. Women who wore cutoff jean shorts were allowed inside but I was not allowed inside because of my shorts. I understand it’s the Jersey Shore but homophobia is disgusting. Please be nice and accepting to all your customers.

Food awful. service awful. bouncers unfriendly. its a wonder they still get business. i think the only reason people go to this bar is because of clout and popularity. go literally anywhere else and receive the same (if not better) experience. old head bar. its locations is its only save and grace. hope this one runs out of business fr.

First time here and last time coming here, Garbage bar I was just standing there and got thrown out and I was with 5 girls, all 5 of us left no reason just because a bouncer felt like kicking us out. I made I contact with the bouncer. Next thing you know I’m getting kicked out with the five people I came with. never going back again. Highly Don’t recommend bouncers over there, have a power trip and you can get kick out for no reason for

Great place for a 20 year old. Went there for hunka bunka and it was so crowded you couldn’t move. Was there for 20 min there was a fight and couldn’t get near the bar. This place is a fire trap but a party for your young child!!

The security thinks they are real cops and they walk right in to people like you are not even there no body in the bar. use to be the best bar in New Jersey now way over priced for the name and food is just OK.

Its a Jersey shore classic. Club music at any time. Inside and outside area. A few bars, some random games. I wanted a cute Barbie themed Djais shirt I saw a worker wearing, but I didnt see it for sale. Cash only at the bars and for the cover. There is a restaurant attached to it as well that has a nice view of the beach but I am sure most people come for the music and dance party.

Went for the nighttime activities and music. The DJs both nights we went weren’t great, we wanted to give a second try in case just the one was a bust… but they both were. Just way too much EDM and a creepy DJ. The cover was excessively for the limited crowd. I’d go back for a specialty event or specific band/DJ only.

I was there today for cheeseburger. I ordered a medium burger it came well done and i sent it back. They brought a new one again it was well done. I told server that i m eating it because i m in a rush but do you see it’s not medium! She said yes i see it’s well done and disappeared! They didn’t even care making up. My advice since we r still at tge beginning of the season, change that server and cook if u want to raise up ur reviews

Djais is a great time! The drink prices are reasonable just sometimes the bar lines are long. But overall, this is one of the best Jersey Shore bars.

Enjoyed the last day of Jersey shore I was actually surprised how good it was the music is always awesome crowds little crazy but it’s always a good time and the beach in Belmar is amazing.I really going here on theme night Thursdays I haven’t gone for a while but if anybody hasn’t gone and they need a good place to go on Thursday it’s always a good time!And Friday and Saturday it’s great but just too crowded it also good on Sunday… actually one of my favorite days to go because it’s not that crowded and there’s still great music it’s just the chiller spot compared to most days.

This place is disgusting. Awful placeto have a good time. Bouncers had a steroidsego trip on first night of opening and physically assaulted !! They are(security ) just animals not people

If you like crowds of selfish young adults and repetitive pop music, then youre in the right place here at Djais. They have the audacity to charge admission between 10pm and 1am, as if the DJ is worth paying to see like a larger musical act.The management here is driven by their greed, and they dont like you if youre not an alcoholic. Just the fact that they encourage excessive drinking in individuals who are still developing goes to show they dont care about you or your family. If you want to get your drink on as a young person, the smart thing to do is buy a keg, have a rager at your house, and charge everyone $5 at your doorstep.Plus, the food here is an absolute joke. Everything from the pizza to the sandwiches is disgusting. I go here to see if I can meet a hot young stud to crash at his place for the night instead of go back to Newark, but I should just pass by construction sites and the grocery store during normal business hours instead or find a sugar daddy in Deal.

We ate at the restaurant so I cant answer about the bar. You get a huge serving of food. You cant beat the ocean view while you eat. Prices arent that bad either.

Mediocre overpriced food & drinks.Nothing locally made or sourced.Bland interior with sports playing.Sitting at the bar with the ocean view was nice & the whiskey ginger was a decent pour.I had looked forward to seeing the star bar it used to have, but apparently, that is long gone.

Usually I love the food outside here but they gave me something absolutely disgusting for $7 and called it a pizza slice, I wish I took a picture to share with you all it was pretty disturbingI think trying to warm the old cold slice in an oven might have helped it

LEGENDARY. The music and vibe here is great. The staff is friendly and get you drinks quickly despite the crowds. It gets packed here very quickly so come early.

Its a Jersey shore classic. Food is typical bar food, the atmosphere is exactly what you expect from a Jersey Shore hang out.

We were there for the Boomer and Gio show. Employees, first class. Parking OK, bathrooms plentiful.

It is a nice place to dance and have a drink! But unfortunately the food is not the best…I placed my order and got the wrong one, and asked for a drink and took forever to come, by the time I got my drink I decided to leave and I still have to paid for a drink I couldn’t have.It is in a nice location, they have outdoor seats and the price is affordable.

Came in for a drink and 2 drinks came out to 30 bucks. staff and bouncers gave hints of discrimination. Horrible spot. As a member of service being treated like this, I wouldn’t recommend to any POC or MOS.

Got the Greek salad with chicken, fried calamari, & shrimp cocktail (was a bit disappointed there was only 5 for $16.50).

Server never came to table. We were about to leave when I think the owner saw us and we explained the situation. He sat us back at our table and got a server. She was less than thrilled to be there. I just wish we had left because the food was drive in movie theater snack bar quality. Their drink menu didn’t have prices and turned out to be $14 for a fairly small drink. It’s a one and done, we both left most of our food and left. The owner seemed nice and wanted to help but his staff is running without management. So they were really hurting the business.

Great lunch at the beach. Its not just a night club/bar. Pet friendly and very courteous waitresses and staff. Highly recommended!

This “line control” man child djais worker was super rude. Cursed at me multiple times. He would not tell me his name but a co worker said it was Dante.Something needs to be done about this man.

Went for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty empty and I dont feel we got the best service.We tried the poke wrap things but asked for spicy mayo instead of wasabi sauce and they forgot to put it in. We didnt mind, just ordered it on the side but our server gave us a bit of attitude about it.Best Miami vice Ive ever had though! So creamy and perfect. Wasnt icy at all. They also have amazing fries.Parking might be a pain so beware! And this place gets BUSY during the summer do be prepared to wait on weekends and evenings.

This place was recommended to us to try out and we absolutely loved it. Being from out of state I wanted to get a souvenir, and Alexa helped me pick out the perfect shirt for me and my wife. She was very approachable and kind. It’s a great spot and we plan on returning.

Charged me 10 for entry even after telling them I identify as a baddie.

Food was solid. The portion of calamari was generous, although the breading on it was too thick and crunchy for me and covered the texture and flavor of the octopus. The jalapeno bacon cheeseburger was huge and tasty with the sweet potato fries providing a nice texture and flavor compliment to the burger. Service was polite but I needed to track down the server halfway through the meal to ask for water and another condiment. Margarita was solid as well. Enjoyable meal with a nice view.

Rico Bosco brought me here. The food, the staff, THE WOMEN(unbelievable), the vibes, the music and location!!... Everything was a whole fun vibe. So much fun. Made lifelong friends in one night. I didnt want to leave. I live in Indiana but Ill be back on vacation just to have more Djais memories. 10 outta 10 highly recommend. You go out of your way to come here. You cancel plans to come here.

My family took me out to a Fathers Day dinner. We have never been here and it was a fantastic vibe. We sat outside right at the entrance. Food was delish, quick and the hostess and waitress were totally fantastic. Our waitress was the nicest person with a great personality and you can tell she loved her job. We will be returning.

Honestly really good food. I had the miami vice with a Buffalo chicken wrap. My friend had a chicken ceaser wrap and a berry cactus margarita. My other friend had a ceaser salad and sex on the beach. Friendly staff & lots of space.

Please be careful of the door girls, they are typical airhead ditsy white girls who are oblivious to correct handling of money and correct change. Gave 100$ bill for three people to enter at 15$ a piece and was given 5 dollars change. When questioned, they said there is no way to tell if I gave them 100. They are lucky I am far from broke and just took it as a loss otherwise you would have some drunk making a scene over these girls mistake. Always watch your money and save it too. Rude Owner, Bad FoodMy recent visit to this place at the beach left me deeply dissatisfied with both the food and the treatment I received. While the hostess displayed a commendable level of friendliness, unfortunately, my friends and I encountered a distressing incident involving the security personnel or owner. The encounter was not only unpleasant but also involved what appeared to be racist behavior, which was deeply troubling.As someone who values equal treatment and respect for all individuals, it was disheartening to experience such behavior firsthand. I have never encountered such treatment before, and it truly left a lasting negative impression on me and my companions.To provide some context, we had requested to be seated indoors due to the windy weather, as my son was feeling unwell. However, despite our reasonable request, we were denied without any apparent reason or explanation. This denial seemed unjustified and added to our disappointment with the overall experience.It is truly astonishing to witness such treatment without any legitimate cause. As customers, we expected to be treated with courtesy and fairness, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

Amazing happy hour and they arent cheap and measure pours .... If you are looking to have a good time with a great view I would come here !!!!

The blonde working the door collecting cash might be one of the nastiest people I’ve ever met. Absolutely vile behavior in the way she speaks to people. Multiple people I met that night had similar things to say about her. No signs that there’s a cover, or that the entire place only takes cash. I would love to see how much they claim on their taxes because it’s clear there’s a lot of tax fraud happening…

$6 house drinks, nice outdoor section. It was very packed when I went for the 4th of July, you can barely move. Across from the beach. When we went it was a $15 cover.

I stopped in after some time on the beach and even at 5pm it was getting loud and crowded. It had a great energy and was a lot of fun, but I imagine it gets way too crazy later at night. The drinks were all $4 which was amazing and they have an outdoor area on the side with a tent and another small bar. There were two cop cars out front which tells you quite a bit about how rowdy things get later in the night, but during the day its a fun cool place to hide from the sun and relax inside.

Did not eat food. Was not aware they served food. The atmosphere was bland inside. No chairs, just dance floor. Outside was better. Tables with umbrellas, chairs, and a bar for outdoor drinks.

Day trip dts. If youre looking for the hot spot or place to be on a summer holiday then this is for you.

This place is horrible, nothing but discriminating bouncer that would physically assault you. Very scary on how these bouncers behave which I call dangerous and yet management allows this type of nonsense. I do not recommend.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!… Beware, The owner (a bald guy) is extremely racist and will treat you like trash, if you wanna have better results, and don’t ruin your beach day, just go anywhere else, let me just describe what happened there…I arrive with my friends (mix between Latino and American people) and the first thing when we where walking trough the entrance he started yelling… keep going, keep going, don’t stop, afterwards the hostess gave us a seat outside and since it was a windy day we asked to be moved inside, she did a good job she just said that we should walk in and that was all, we walk by again and the dude that was outside the place started telling us in a rude way that we had to speak with the hostess and we calmly explained that we already did it, the hostess approach us and she said that she told us to come inside, then that same guy looked at us and told us that we just couldn’t walk in, because one of my friends had a back pack (inside there was a couple of people with back pack) and started to make ugly faces to us, then we just move on to another place, actually the best decision that we could do at that point…. Really sad that this kind of people still exist

Well! Great place if you are 16-25 max! I didnt know, I enter the place , and left it in about 3 minutes!!😄😄😄😄😄 I was the oldest by far!! I was even older than the police officers standing outside and the security team too!! hahhahahahha

I mean… the fact that this place has any good reviews just blows my mind. Went with 2 of my friends- tried to give the bartender my card when paying and he almost had a heart attack… didn’t realize it was cash only (legal?). He immediately yelled for the bouncers to kick us out and I didn’t even have time to react I was beyond confused. All 7 of them aggressively grabbed us one by one and was shoving me so hard from behind that people in front of me were falling. Got booed out fatties and uglies. Keep in mind we were super compliant (we didn’t want to be there anyways) and also 110 pound girls, yet the bouncer wanted to take his repressed steroid driven anger out on us (weird). Talked to the cops and they didn’t do anything obviously. If you want to physically get assaulted go to djais 😘

Great jersey atmosphere. Loved the music! Drinks were actually good . Was surprised on the dress code or lack of from some of the people . Some of the girls were done up,amazing outifts,hair, make up... to only see a guy in gym shorts walk by.

VETERANS GO ELSEWHERE !!!!!!!I am a DISABLED VETERAN and I wanted to take time to reflect on the birth of the nation I selflessly and honorably served for close to a decade at no other spot in town then DJais.I was denied entry into this establishment, mean while they allowed other people entry who wore plain white shirts. I had a Levis logo on my shirt but security refused to be reasonable. I am disgusted by this unethical behavior since a white shirt is a beach color especially at a beach bar.However I would have never came to this place in a white tshirt (beach appropriate) if there website had a FAQ or Policy page addressing a dress code (which they do not I looked). It is unfortunate that you have to waste resources and gas to be denied entry there. There only form of policy is a metal sign at the entrance which security used to hide behind.I would have been willing to purchase a DJais tshirt as an alternative if security was willing to think outside the box. However security was unprofessional and had not a care in the world that there behavior and choices would get them this negative attention. I am going to warn ALL VETERANS to STAY AWAY from this establishment and go else where. Of all people to be turned away, this was humiliating and embarrassing that DJais would conduct themselves in this behavior.

The place is fun went on friday night for MDW got denied the next day because my own id, passport, and other forms of id “didnt look like me”. They get overly rude and out of pocket when busy. Basically ruined my weekend, that i spent hundreds on for a house down the block. Messed up that they take bribes but deny someone whos actually overage.

Awesome beach view while you eat your meal. If you leave hungry its your own fault. You get a plateful of excellent food.

D‘jais is an extraordinary place! The music is unbelievable, the staff is incredible and the bartenders are among the best in the entire industry. Depending on the night, there is something for everybody. The establishment might not be for everybody but no place ever is. It’s a great party, every time you go there that’s basically what the place is a well organized awesome party! In summary, D’jais is one of the highlights of the Jersey Shore which is one highlights of the United States. So stop by when you can I highly recommend it!

Horrible service! Would give 0 starts if I could. My Mom and I went to the food section of D’Jais (the one off to the side of the club) because there were tables available which is difficult to come by when you’re trying to eat on the beach during the evening. We were told we could sit anywhere and about 15 minutes went by and nobody came to take our orders. Decided to move tables and sit closer to other people so that we’d be noticed more, and eventually a younger girl approached us and took our orders. She seemed like she had no idea what was going on, and I don’t want to make assumptions, but seemed like she may have been under the influence of something. My Mom and I ordered water and another 15 minutes went by and still nothing. We decided to just get up and leave, and of course, as soon as we got up to leave a different younger girl collected our menus. Now I know why there were so many tables available. Can’t speak for food or drinks because we never got any.

Super fun! Theres so much fun dancing, the drinks are pretty cheap, the servers look out for you. The only catch is that drinks were cash only, which i thought was a good thing considering how crowded it was in there. Fun vibes overall

To go out drinking, this place is great. Went there for food twice now and had horrible experiences. Waiting 15 minutes for a server to take our order... Food was nothing to come back for and then another 15 minutes for a bill after asking for it. Servers are young and dont seem to care for patrons.. they just want to flirt with bartenders. will ignore anyone sitting around the bar. Happy hour only counts at the bar. So I had to walk to the bar for drinks, couldnt order from the server during happy hour.

Good food, very nice service and the priceless view of the ocean.The parking has a cost and is not exclusive to the place, but is public street paid parking slots. After 7 PM theres no cost.The sangria is delicious and the boneless buffalo wings (which are not in the menu) are quite good too.Whatever you request, you will have it accomplished by the kind server.

DJais is pretty nice. I havent been here in many years and I forgot what it looked like. There is comfortable outdoor seating in the front of the establishment. The bartenders and servers are nice and personable. Since DJais is located on Ocean Avenue, there is a ton of foot and pedestrian traffic, so if youre looking for peace and quiet, this aint your place, unless you visit in the off-season.DJais offers live music, food, and dancing. The bar and dance floor area gets super crowded, but its fine. They usually have some great bands playing. The food is good. Although I thought the price was a little steep for my drink, my bartender put a generous amount of liquor in there, which justified the expense. Its an enjoyable venue when there arent sloshed 21-year-olds in attendance.All-in-all, I enjoyed myself, and I would go back again.

I always got to the beach by that bar. This year i sat down after talking to the security guy and waited almost 30 minutes. There was maybe 15 people total inside and not one person asked me anything. I saw people coming after me getting their food and everything. Used to be good place to grab a nice burger but now it’s just garbage

My experience does not include the popular night club. My wife and toddler son enjoyed lunch here twice while spending the day at the beach. The service was very good, the food was delicious, and the view from the patio was beautiful.They also have delicious pizza.

The cheesesteak was absolutely fantastic! The bread was soft n crunchy, the steak was perfectly cooked with the onions...the cheese was very flavorful which made the sandwich. The crinkly fries were great too. To add to it all the plate was hot at service which kept the food hot longer. This is a nice touch when dining outside in an ocean breeze. This place was far above my expectations for a bar and grill.

0 STARS ! Had the absolute worst experience my first time there. I went with a group of friends to enjoy ourselves. & became targeted by bouncers who racially profiled us. These guys aggressively attacked my friends for “throwing a napkin” which is exactly what you do at DJAIS. We had our hands up and asked to be left alone. They proceeded to jump us and kick us out and even hit one of the females we were with. They broke her finger. The worst humans and scum work there as bouncers. This place should be SHUT DOWN. Disgusting is an understatement. Nobody even tried to help. Absolutely GROSS. Also those bouncers are weak. Bye

The drinks were okay but overpriced. Literally all of the food we ordered was bad. The boneless chicken wings were basically rocks. Chili cheese fries 10/10 came from a can. Even the chips and salsa was bad. Definitely not worth the money.

Went just to eat, was nice sitting right by the water. Drinks were good but between me and my friend, hers felt like an over pour of liquor (which i was completely ok with) versus mine which was double in price with virtually no liquor. Shrimp are overpriced for what you get and the toasted clams came back with more sand in them than belmar itself. Could be better quality for the price you pay.

They were at capacity, we didnt know and were rudely told so as if we were supposed to know that. There were young drunk girls stumbling and passed out in the front. Police and paramedics arrived for them and other issues. Too much drama for our group of 30 and 40 year olds. Went elsewhere and had a great experience. This place lived up to their negative reviews. This is a place for newly turned 21 year olds that need to be told how to behave by the adult staff.

The food there is pretty good. When your drunk its amazing. I must say they do have a pretty good crab cake sandwich and theyre well known for their Mac n cheese bites. And the pizza isnt too bad as well. All extremely reasonably priced. Theyre also a day/night club. And its incredibly fun!!!!!! You have to check it out if you havent. Just a genuinely great time.

I have only come here for the night scene. Some nights are crowded other nights are dead. The thing I love about this place is the handicapped accessible dance floor. Wheelchairs are more than welcome. The nights that are crowded get fun with lots of party toys thrown out into the crowd making this a fun place to be.

Great location! You can sit outside and gaze at the beautiful Jersey shore! My friend Joe loves the cheesebugers, and chili here! Corn chowder is pretty good too. Its a very young and vibrant crowd! Servers all very friendly! Service is fast!

Great place. Friendly and all around a great place. Visiting from CO , kitchen was closed but they went out of their way to feed us. Definitely a place to visit. Get here and have a good time.

What can I say. Its Djais. You know what your getting at this infamous NJ shore bar/club. My best advice would be to visit this place didnt the day to really enjoy it. Has nice outside section with a bar and some games. Great drink specials. Personally I tend to avoid the night time hours because it gets so packed you cant even move and you spend more time waiting to get a drink then actually drinking. Music rotates from popular hip hop to popular electronic.

During the day we went for food on the patio. Great view of the ocean and all the activity going on.The staff was very friendly and we had a great meal.The drinks were amazing! We had frozen cocktails made by Nikki! Who we talked to after we ate and she was a blast! We went back at night and was socked that it was now a full blown night club. Needless to say after we made our way to the bar for one drink. We spoke to some of the regulars and the bartender ( Morgan) and next thing you know it was closing time! Lol !I would certainly recommend it if you find yourself anywhere around Belmar,NJ. Its worth the trip!

This place has an awesome happy hour and was a blast at night. The music was great, place was packed, and the dance floor was insane. If you are looking to dance and party this is the place to go on the weekend. The free buffet on Friday was also a nice surprise.

Best Dance club in NJ! Amazing music and beautiful girls. You always feel like you had a good night the day after this place. Things to note: packed sardine crowed on Saturday nights (but it still always seems to work out), casual dress code but basketball shorts wont suffice, bar is crowed it can be hard to get the bartenders attention. I suggest pre-gaming. Cover is usually $15-20.

The food is bad. They don’t have drafted beer. The visual is beautiful, water front. Maybe at night with the live music is better since it’s a bar.

Average beach bar in a great location across the street from central belmar beach. Friendly, polite staff. Hamburger was good, fries were average. A little slow with drink refills. Good beer selection. Mixed drinks were ok. I would go back.

Last night a was assaulted by a balding white haired short heavy set man who is employed as a bouncer at djais. When i had walked out side he said you cant go back in. At this point i was ostracized from my fiancé and sister.. they had my phone inside and i had no way of contacting them to come out for me. When i tried to walk back in to retrieve my belongings I was pushed. When i pushed back in self defense said bouncer fell to the ground when he stood up he struck me with a closed fist in the face and knocked me to the ground i was then taken out and no security or police did anything about my assault. This man is a danger to society and i will persue litigation until he is reprimanded for his actions.

But I see below other people have been abused by bouncers too.My girlfriend was very roughly hurt by a bouncer at DJais and now has horrible bruises all over her arms from where she was roughly grabbed. I was behind her as we were returning to the dance floor, and a short bouncer, dark hair, wearing a flat brim green hat stopped her. She politely said excuse me, put her arms out and tried to move past him to where our other 2 girlfriends were. He physically stopped her, grabbed her, and she lost balance and fell on her butt. Hard. I was shocked! He did know I was with her and witnessed what he did. Ive never in my life seen someone blatantly do that to a girl. He roughly tried to grab her up, hurting her. I moved him away from her with my forearm on his chest, and yelled you cannot NOT f**** touch women like that! What is wrong with you?! and helped her up. Real big man. He started shining his light at us and we were swarmed by larger bouncers. Who roughly pushed us out. At one point I turned to one and said Look. Im clearly very sober and cooperating. We are leaving. But you are literally pushing us into people. He at least eased up after I said that. But that short guy. He needs to be fired. He grabbed her for just trying to get by him. So strange and so unnecessarily rough!!I realize this is a young club. And kids get extremely drunk and you might be tired of dealing with it. But you cannot be so rough and hurt people, especially small blond girls.Try Bar A instead. Larger layout, better joint. Less physical abuse.

If youre into EDM music all night, then this place is for you. The crowd is lively and its right on the beach. Also theres food shops right outside for when it closes. A lot of police standing outside waiting for you to do something wrong so be careful and be safe!

This place is the trashiest bar on the whole shore the customers and especially the staff are some of the biggest low life’s to ever walk the earth. I witnessed a female employee attack a customer when she was walking in with no warning or reason. This is not how good business is done. They kicked the girl that was hit out and gave no repercussions to the employee. She should be fired!

JUST WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE NOW. MAY 27 18. Walked in a the bouncer Paul closed my umbrella while on line in the drizzle (since it wasnt allowed) and put it to the side for me. Stayed in for about 20 min. Decent music. Prob packed to or over capacity. Inside there I spoke with one bouncer that was very friendly and expained to me how to get to the ATM. So much pushing to get to where you need to go since there is no room to walk or even stand. THERE WAS ONE VERY RUDE BOUNCER. Shouldve taken his name. I understand that people with trash cans need to get by and he needs to do his job. BUT at one point he VERY ROUGHLY pushed someone. ALSO saw someone get pushed by the swinging door and saw she was aggravated by it so he went and violently slammed the door back at her with a rude grin on. Couldnt believe my eyes. Your job does not include taking anger out on paying customers. BUT PAUL was great. I walked out and he handed my umbrella back.Maybe this place is better during a regular day.Places like this (esp during busy times) remind me of why I like to stay in or do other productive things and be lame.

Nothing like a cold brew and a fresh Djais lunch on a Jersey summer beach day. Theyre really busy in the summers so service can be slower but the food is all fresh and excellent.

It was their final night before closing. Buffet was ok, not great. Drinks were served in plastic cups. I ordered a Cosmo. Barely drinkable. Very loud. Mixed age crowd.

Been a decade since I’ve been here and I’m not going to disparage the place. It is what it is, and I’ll tell you what that is in a moment. As you get older, a place as such can just drive you away. It’s loud (with awful obnoxious hip hop/ rap music), overcrowded but with raucous, rambunctious and exuberant twenty and thirty somethings, and it’s just annoying overall, and that’s in spite of you joining in the gang and pounding down a few. If you were sober, you’d rather be in jail! Lol

It was relaxed but for some reason they seem to prefer cash when you pay for things so I gave them a debit card and then there were so intrigued with a foreign license from a different country and just kept looking at it and talking about it in the corner felt like my money wasnt good its a American Wells Fargo debit card coming straight out of my account so I didnt understand the need for all the extra security but whatever

Ordered shrimp corn chowder and sweet potato fries with chilli. Chowder was like water, cream was separating and it was served luke warm. The fries were cooked well beyond done. The only thing half way decent was the chili on top of the fries. Overall, no quality control, a waste of money. I DO NOT recommend.

This place is and always was alot of fun, reasonable drink prices and a decent clientele. The food is great, decent menu selection. I had a burger and it was delicious. Theres a reason this place survived since 1959 I suggest you see why.

PROS: This place was very large compared to other options at the shore. The people were friendly, the menu was plentiful, prices were accurate, and once we ordered the food it was quick to come. They have an indoor and outdoor area and a place to host a party. Close to the beach you can easily walk there.CONS: I ordered pizza and it came to me as if it was preheated in a microwave, as seen in my pictures. Also, it took the waitress 30 minutes to take our order. Also there arent any physical menus, you have to scan a QR code and have them pop up on your phone.OVERALL: Nice place to eat but they cut corners to frequent. I dont think ill be coming back any time soon

Stopped in on saturday night and had a freaking blast. it was my first time there, but definitely not my last. The music was good, the drinks were strong and adequately priced, and the bartenders (I was at the bar by the front most of the night) were the fastest and hardest working i have seen in some time. even with a near capacity crowd, i never waited more than 5 minutes for a drink.it IS much smaller than i anticipated, but that was fine with me, on more crowded nights, it is suggested that you use the port-o-potties outside (which are kept IMMACULATE) - to avoid ridiculous lines for the bathrooms inside.there were not an overwhelming number of jersey shore types (i.e. guidos), more of a young party crowd, from all walks of life. most people seem to come as they are, and be who they are naturally (or who they are whilst incredibly intoxicated).if you have never been, make sure you go.

This Country was built by Immigrants. And I used to be a Server at Applebees but I quit after 6 weeks because some of the guests left me no tip, even though the food was served in a timely manner. And once, when I served a table of three young Men, they all wanted separate checks and one of them left me a $1.00 tip and wrote Come On Dude! on the credit card receipt. Came here for a bike/car event on a Monday night. Food was below average, but also priced accordingly. Waitress screwed up my order 3 times. Cant smoke outside while your at a table. I guess Ill leave this place to the fist pumpers.

The night club times Ive been to Djais has been easy to get in, good selection of drinks and excellent music and service despite being a packed establishment. Bathrooms are kept orderly despite a high congestion area with lots of traffic to and fro. But bring a set of ear plugs it gets very loud inside.

Ate lunch here during a busy Sunday afternoon. Service was great and the food was very good. We had sandwiches, great portions and great price.

Had a terrible experience with the bouncers who think they can do anything. My boyfriend and I were unfortunately near a bar fight and the bouncers assumed my boyfriend was involved. They grabbed him and dragged him out of the bar in a choke hold.

I say to a nice orange lady, Ciao amore, do you need some lotion? She sneer at me and she say F*** off creep, Im trying to drink Stoli! Owwy wowwy!
