Great place, great music, hot food, and cold drinks. Colorful crowd makes the perfect atmosphere and owner Tommy is running it flawlessly.Dont mind two hour drive, I will be back for next Blues event.Five stars are not enough...

Not bad.... met some friends here for a Sunday chilL outing. This place was amazing, the band actually asked the crowd if anybody could play an instrument. Some people just went up to play. I had a very good time. I would come again.

It Was Fun for a Sunday Afternoon. NO cover charge or min. drink. Live blues jam session with rotating local talents. Drinks only no food served, but you are allowed to bring in or order food and/or snacks... Nice!.... Service is great. And parking for this venue was plentiful. They do have larger events that are taken outdoors check the website and ticket purchase sells out quick.

Had a wonderful evening along with my neighborhood pals at the BBB last Sunday. It was the first time for all of us and we had a blast!! The music was amazing; that wall of sound was not lacking anything!!I saw your T-Shirt on a gentleman standing in a food service line at NC tractor pull last spring so I took a picture of the T-shirt so I could visit the next time I was in town. I plan to be back soon and bring my sister with me!! Keep up the good work! Yall are amazing!!

Always wanted to go here and finally did with Mumma and Pops! Had so much fun and great music. Wow they jammed and it was amazing! Wanted to go before season gets here and glad we did because there were still tons of peeps there! Will definitely go back! Fun times!!

Saw JJ Grey January 2nd! I didnt know about this venue previously but most certainly glad I chose to see him here! Perfect small venue, vibe, food, cold drinks, special restroom accommodations for the ladies. Its 1st class. House band was great as well. Honestly wish I lived closer...convenient location...no traffic to deal with! The vibe and service of this venue was truly awesome. I would make the drive from the east coast to see a band here again without a doubt!

We love Buckingham Blues Bar, weve been going there for years even though we live in Naples and its a bit of a drive for us.We saw Selwyn for the first time there years ago so when Selwyn plays we always have to go. Last night Selwyns performance was exceptional just like ever other time weve heard him. He puts on a fantastic show!!

Amazing place! Cool, old-style bar with very friendly staff and cold beer! They have a nice large stage that fits many musicians together, in a very informal environment: you see different musicians coming in and out with their own instruments, playing for the amazement of the audience! Fantastic jazz and blues with a very experienced band (that seems to have been playing together for many decades per their integration!).Place is a bit far from Fort Myers (about 20min Drive), but definitely worth it: I haven’t found a Blues Bar in Fort Myers within the same quality band and music as at Buckingham!One advice: they don’t play every night, so check the schedule!I will definitely be back soon for more blues!!!

What a fun place to stop. Always has the blues playing on the weekends. Small inside but huge outside. Stop by to listen to the live music on the weekends.

Just plain awesome. We read about this place on a Wednesday which had blues band that evening with free admission. Beer and wine only, no liquor but we had a surprise round on drinks on the house by a generous someone. The band was open to all musicians and was an absolute delight to enjoy great, live music. They even have outdoor events in back. Also, I’m pretty darn tootin’ right that comedian Drew Lynch was there with his family and friends a few barstools away from us! Now that’s entertainment. Look forward to returning to this enjoyable place. “Nobody leaves here without singing the blues!”

This is the best music venue in SWFL. The Backyard Blues Fests are awesome, but the indoor events are fine too. The staff is always kind and fun.

Experienced an Awesome outdoor concert at the Buckingham Blues Bar. The Betty Fox Band took me by surprise! This Girl is a Full Package of Blues... When She belted out Etta James Id Rather Go Blind... I was in AWE!!! They also sang upcoming music on the new album coming out in July 2018... Loved it!!! Cant wait to hear her again.Tommy Lee Cook (the owner) has a wonderful atmosphere for an outdoor venue of the Blues, which He, Rex Bongo & The Sophisticated Hippies (house band) play as well. A Goldmine!! For $10. admission, beer tent, food tent, picnic tables provided.. You cannot go wrong for a full day of entertainment at this place. Suggest to locate on facebook for upcoming entertainment and bring your own lawn chair to enjoy!Will definitely be back to see this place many more times.

If youre looking for a place with great live blues music, youll probably love the music here as we did! The down sides are no food, there is cigarette smoking inside and only beer, wine and soft drinks. We were not there for one of their big outside shows. We will be next season!!

Sunday afternoons are fantastic! Blues open mic at its best. There is a core group with drop in blues musicians. All are top notch Professional Musicians. They play because they Love to play! Its a joyful celebration, great vibes, many regulars, but we were making new friends all afternoon!

Stopped in for Sunday afternoon jam session. Very cool spot. A little crowded in peak season. The owner takes great care in running an amazing band of local talent.

Loved jam afternoon until house band stopped. Love me some Tom Petty and two songs were played:-) unfortunately some of the people that came up to jam with the band kind of dragged on and on. Perhaps giving them a time limit might be more Worthy. Overall we were there two times and the Saturday that we heard the house band really enjoyed that evening too!

No, this whole in the wall is not Ritzy and no 5-star establishment. Yet a perfect example of dont judge a book by its cover. I would call it blues shack. Great life bands, happy neighbors and cold beer ensure a great entertainment experience. And every so often, the famous BACKYARD BLUES FESTIVAL draws hundreds of people from near and far to the fabulous garden for a memorable outdoor entertainment with numerous favorite bands in the lineup. Awesome atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, safe, clean and great place for an outdoor concert. No mosquitoes due to their ability of maintaining citronella in the air, plenty of parking, great bar service, beautiful area for tailgating under the trees before the big events. Cannot say enough about this place. The entertainment was fantastic. They had 7 guitarists, drums, saxophone and keyboards rocking out to you name it. Some local and famous names take turns. Waitress was very cute and attentive.

Great venue to enjoy music and sunshine.We enjoyed the outdoors Blues Jam yesterday. Love the large open air space with heaps of palm trees.Even a friendly mule named Buck that you can feed grass to..or if you are super sweet you might bring him carrots.Bar service was excellent. Sound quality was great as were the bands.If you like Blues, this is a must when in the area.

Super fun place for an outdoor concert.

First and foremost I will say that the bartenders are AWESOME, so accommodating and gracious. Now to the bad part..... apparently the owner has a policy of NO sports on the 4 TVs they have in the bar and Im not a smoker but I found it strange that people could smoke any time there was not live music playing? There were 6 people in the bar on a Sunday evening there were 8 football games on and the bartender was prohibited from putting one TV on sports, seems like theyre restricting business. Not my kind of place I guess 😕. Too bad it was a cool bar otherwise. Again the bartender was awesome, appears to be a management issue.

Horrible service at the bar! I left because it was like an act of God to get the bartender to wait on us and she wasnt even that busy. She had a horrible attitude, super rude and should not be in a hospitality job.It was a shame because the place looked like it might have been fun but she ruined my whole experience because I spent the entire time just trying to get a drink and she even sarcastically waved back at me and gave me an ugly face when I tried to wave at her to get her attention.... And still didnt ask us what we wanted to drink!

Great bar. Our server Cage was excellent. Honest..gave him $50..thought it was $20... Best server. Owner a bit over the top at the intro. Bar was fun. Cold beer. Fantastic service

The bar and the band was awesome but the people were super rude. One of the band members was plugging in his equipment and some lady was chewing us out for standing in front of the band that wasn’t playing ,then some other lady stood In Front of us and some guy chewed us out because we couldn’t see. Tired of the negative people out there.

Amazing! What a great band and crowd! The waitress was absolutely amazing! Handled that place like a piece of cake. Kudos to her for working so hard and all with a smile on her face!

Love this place. They always bring in great live music. The owner plays there regularly too and is always good. If youve never been to one of their backyard blues fests youre missing out. Definitely a hidden Buckingham treasure.

Best blues in town! Many national and international blues musicians come here for concerts & Jam days. Along with many very talented local musicians. Its truly an excellent experience if you love music! Some nights are even nonsmoking shows. The house band has some of the best local musicians and most days music is free admission on Jam nights and the occasional local band venue. Reasonably priced beer & food. Plus there is a restaurant down the road with good food too. The blues festivals are really cool and the back yard is perfect to just relax and listen to music or dance. The bartenders are super friendly too! This is my favorite place!

The place was cool and the beer was cold... the bartender was rude as hell and drank more beer than she served! The owner was over the top and pushy! The $15 cover charge was a bit steep! Good music, but not worth putting up with the owner and crack smoking bartender!

Great food, drinks just to meet and hangout, and the outdoor country setting for great live bands with covered stage, really shows well for fun times! Cannot beat the outdoor bar and firepit in the tropical lush countryside to relax and enjoy meeting new friends! Love going here!

This is a beer only establishment. It is very dark and smokey. The bartender was very nice. The backyard where they have music is AWESOME. If you like live music outside, this is your spot.

Im sure the younger people will love the live music. Im a limo driver and took a couple there. I waited outside in my car with a very good gingerale and still heard the music!The decor was style funk, but the patrons were there to hear the live (loud) music. I must be getting old. My ears were ringing from waiting at the bar for my gingerale!

It is one of the few places in southwest Florida where you can actually listen to live blues..And if you are a musician who plays blues music, then it will be the ideal place to be. It offers an excellent open mike live blues music on Sundays an Wednesdays. The rotation of the musicians gives every one an opportunity to play. Great social meeting place.

Been going to the Buckingham for years. I live out of state and I try to come down a couple times per year for the shows, especially the backyard bluesfests. Always good musical lineups. Tommy and Tiffany always treat me like family and the service is always top notch. Keep it up guys..

First time I was there I sat down in the edge of the bar “completely empty” just to be told someone was sitting there... no drinks or Ashe trays or people, fine.Second time I was there I was told off by some kid behind that bar that a. Lack and mild is a cigar...By the way the bar let’s you smoke Newports till you die, but a pipe or a back and mild is a no goooooNo food, nearly no taps and the audio is off, they need pro to balance it out.Don’t go, no food, bad service and rly nothing worth writing home about.

Drove here from St Pete to see Selwyn Birchwood band - follow them when ever possible, fantastic blues band. The place was packed, standing room only. Its too bad they dont have more room for dancing up front, since we love to dance!!! Selwyn and the boys were fantastic as usual - even played two encore songs...thanks for letting us get our dance on!!! The owner talked to us on the way out at the end, and was very nice. We would love to come back for an event in the open space out back.

Oh wOw i totally 4got about this place however, i DO know we absolutely loved it here! altho named something else, about 10 yrs ago i surprised my parents here for their anniversary an well worth a 45 min drive! i actually really liked the atmosphere especially outside, sitting on the swing at the edge of the romantically lit pond! anyone remember the name of it back then?! Heard a lot about this place. But when we walked in, the smoke smell almost knocked us out. Apparently smoking is allowed when there is no entertainment. But that smell doesnt go away.

I love the gritty vibe of this place and wish I could spend more time getting sloppy and forgetting my troubles. Im not used to the amount of smoke but its worth it for the vibe. Not a lot of places like this left.

At the time we were there we did not hear any blues mainly rock was disappointed, thought we finally found a blues bar. It was smoky inside where the band was playing, to hot to be outside.
