My hubby & I had a great time. The new owner/Bartender/Performer Sapphire was EVERYTHING! We enjoyed the 11:00 show and stayed til nearly 2am. ALL of the performers were so good and professional. Just Beautiful. Drinks were on point and so was the vibe. Well most definitely be back with friends. π―π―π―
Really enjoy coming here, drag shows are amazing and bar tenders are really friendly, very clean establishment, but Im not a fan of the guy that hosts karaoke on Thursdays. Last time we came to sing on a Thursday he was blasting the music so loud that you couldnt hear anyone singing. The following night the speakers were busted and we think its because of him.
Love this place. As a straight woman with gay friends I found myself welcome and comfortable. The bartenders, amazing! The staff, amazing! The queens, I cant speak highly enough about them. The entertainment is super fun! Definitely come out and show support and love.
They had one of the Drag Pageant Shows yesterday late afternoon and I headed to the bar to order drinks for a few friends. The lady working the bar would literally look at me and then assist others at the bar that came well after me. This nonsense went on for atleast 10 minutes until I finally had to holler at her to get 5 budlights. Even other patrons at the bar were surprised at how she was obviously ignoring me and no one else. When I did holler, she had this extremely annoyed look rather than apologetic. I got the distinct vibe there was some biased on the ladys part due to my ethnicity. I was however nice enough to still tip her even though others at the bar told me not to. Urban seems to have fallen short on diversity training.
The first bar I went to as a legal drinker and it was the best night of my life, the bar backs and the girls were all so sweet and amazing!!! this is now one of my favorite places
Chris was such an amazing bartender. I came alone and was nervous, but he made the night so much fun. Karaoke was awesome, some really great voices. Love this place, will definitely be back.
I love this place. Ive never felt comfortable around people with my autism but the urban is warm and loving and the only place I have felt I could exist, purely as my authentic self. However, last show, a couple of men had a bit much to drink and were engaged in a sex act right by my car, and my kids were with me. I love my car more than I do people. We need some lights and some cameras, because next time, Im gonna use a taser and someone is gonna lose a member when the tased clenches his teeth. Ijs. That behavior isnt okay in public, anywhere, especially beside MY car. Theres a cheap motel on beach.
It upsets me of how bad customer service over here,Takes at least 10 minutes to grab a drink even if not busy, they charge me $20 entrance fee for a show they have going on and then try to offer me my drink in a plastic cup and they are very racist towards me because of my ethnicity.I go out every night and spend a lot of money all around this area and have fun everywhere but here.
Okay atmosphere but came for the 11pm show and started at 11:30. Learn your gay attentive atmosphere and just say you need the pre-show drink income and stop making people wait π€
If your LGBT, this is a very cool place to hang out out. Their drinks are very affordable, theyve got events happening throughout the week, even drag shows. Bar tenders are very cool, you dont ever have to worry about being judged, youll always feel welcomed here.
My wife and I visited here from San Antonio. Tried reflections first and wasnt into the vibe. LOVED LOVED LOVED this bar. Wonderful service, great pool tables and dance floor. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.
Just wanted to say its some beautiful people who work here ! And THE OWNER IS SO SWEET (Im the stranded car girl ) lol but I will one day hope to check the club out, even though I never go out only because the energy is right π.
One of my favorite places! The most & staff are friendly and welcoming. Their monthly Drag Brunch is a must to attend. Plus the have weekly karaoke!
This bar is truly a historic icon for Fort Worth. The locals all know this bar as the former βBest Friends Club.β The bar has transferred hands several times over the years. The current owners for over a year at this point are really grasping this area and community. For out-of-towners, this is a hidden gem. If youβre wanting to see the largest LGBTQ around and one that fits with the theme to the City of Fort Worth, then you have to stop by. Overall, they bring in great performers and itβs always a fun atmosphere with a great dance floor.Their outside patio space is everything. You can see the cute skyline of Fort Worth. Only negative, Iβd love for one more nicer bar to open up over there to start a little drinking hub. The venue is also only 5 minutes from Wild Acre Brewing Co., so you could even day drink and itβs a short Uber to fit in two really great spots.Staff = Super Friendly.Space = HugeDrinks = StrongLocation = Def. a Destination, 100% worth the trip!
This place is not lgbtq friendly. Homeless, pervy creeps stay in the parking lot. The bar itself caters only to pageant queens like no one else in the world is valid. It is an unfortunate place that kills dreams and desires for community and togetherness.
Visiting from Colorado, had so much fun! The Queens worked so hard on that stage and weβre great! I was laughing and grooving to the music. Definitely love this place.
Wife wanted to see a drag show after watching RuPauls drag race. Went during afternoon drag brunch. Everyone super friendly. Queens were hilarious.Tremendous entertainment.
Urban is always the best experience. Bartenders are the most fun, incredible queens. Iβm forever a regular!
Hey UC! Itβs 11:59 pm on a Saturday night and this place is DEAD! Nobody on the dance floor, one bartender, and maybe 12 people like me sitting around on their phones. What gives? If you donβt believe me you may want to take a look at your profit and loss statement. Time for a change.
We love Saphire! Sheβs has shown us, shown out, and showed up. We canβt want to see what she brings to the space π
We really enjoyed the show, its a great bunch of gals having a good time. So glad we made this one of our stops in Texas.
Meh. Kind of a dump. Annoying bartenders and the owner was rude. There are better and nicer places in Dallas. Its not worth the trip. I guess if you want drugs, head to the patio. π€·ββοΈ
Walked in, did not know it was a LBGTQ bar, it was karaoke night. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun π Will probably go back even though Im straight.πππ
Chris is Γ great bartender. Loved karaoke night but the drag queen show was extremely boring
Great places for o learn how to line dance and enjoy drag.
Not friendly, not a good variety of music, drinks are weak. Saturday night and theres a total of 3 people here. Sad
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, AMAZING performers. Definitely a fun place to go!
Overpriced drinks, lazy entitled drag queens who just walk and expect money, had to wait 5 minutes because bartender was busy just talking to regulars to serve someone. Would not return
Such a fun place. Good drinks, good shows, and a really friendly staff.
Love the Urban Cowboy! Austin and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome!
Great place to have a few.Alan and Sapphire are awesome bartenders.
