Old School Texas

August 3rd was my first time going to this bar. There are two sides: one has Tejano music, and the other side is supposed to be hip-hop. I was on the hip-hop side. The DJ absolutely sucked! He talked way too much and kept saying the same stuff over and over! Where my independent ladies at? Where my Cowboys fans at? Where my Ranger fans at? Shout-out to the birthday boy. Where my alcoholics at? Where my 80s babies at? Where my 90s babies at? Make some noise if you dont have to work tomorrow.... It was horrible. He turned the music off to let the commentary for the Crawford fight to be heard. I told the person who invited me to let me know when a different DJ is there because that dude killed any vibe I had to have fun dancing. I want to give it another chance. I suggested a song by showing it on my phone to him. He played Tejano music. I left.

I love that it is 2 Clubs in 1 building. The patio makes smoking convenient. I LOVE their Steak Quesadilla. All the staff are friendly & will have you leave the bar smiling. 😁

I live to go to this club its a great place to hangout and dance. The bartenders are so friendly there names are Danielle, Krystal and Cynthia. I like going on Fridays its less people than Saturdays nights. Im going to celebrate 🍾 my birthday there

This a cool spot. Got two dance floors. The hip hop side be dead. But the other side be packed. I will try it again. But the bartenders were hella cool.

I love coming to old school they play great music I always have fun when. I love there Blue Hawaiian drinks. I really recommend going on Fridays

Club either played country, Latino or hip hop. Nice clean dance floor, but a bit small. Okay, cheap drinks though! I got one call the pirate... something... And it tasted pretty awesome and tropical! The jack and coke I got tasted a bit diluted. Drew a large Latino/ Chicano crowd, but a large age range. The styles of music would abrubtly change, changing the whole mood of the place. The bartenders were nice and the bus boys kept the tables and counters clear quick enough. Everyone was pretty nice and respectful when I went. Even danced with some girls and no one threw a fit or anything. Clean bathrooms. Inside the place felt safe but... Try not to walk alone through the parking lot at night.

Being a DJ in Dallas nightclubs for over 30 yrs it takes a lot to impress me. So when arriving at Old School (which is located in an old store front/shopping strip mall) I wasn’t even through the doors of this place and already I was planning my quick exit. However, I paid the $5 cover and walked around the corner into the club. At first I felt like I had stepped into another dimension or was having an acid induced hallucination inside a dream. I walked around and found my new friends that had invited us to meet them there. We got some drinks and watched an array of characters from all walks of life take full advantage of the spacious dance floor. The crowd was like Bad Bunny meets lesbian couple meets Mexican Mafia meets stripper chick meets country girl meets good ol boy. Everyone was having a great time. The decor was nothing fancy either but it’s clear that being or looking cool is not important. Only having fun IS! So my hat is off to this place for getting back to the basics of what a good night club has always been...a place to meet people, drink and have a good time. Old School Ft Worth offers exactly that! I loved it!

The music is great. The Ladies restroom is not attended to & is left so trashed. They also dont enforce dress code which they should consider. If you dont mind a filthy restroom & sketchy location you will love this place.

We have been many times since they opened. LOVE to see a local business succeeding! The music playlist has evolved a bit but I like that there is a good mix of music that appeals to everyone. Awesome dance floor and lots of room to spread out and share some laughs with friends. Love that even though there is smoking allowed inside, the ventilation system keeps the air clear and I dont go home smelling like an ash tray. Good drink specials, friendly staff. Owner is a good guy that has put alot into the place, it would otherwise be yet another vacant strip mall suite but instead its a growing local business.

My friends and I always have a great time when we come out. Sunday nights are our favorite! Theyve recently started opening during the day. And we love the new patio!

The environment is Amazing, the staff is friendly the drinks are one of the best Ive had in Fort Worth. Wendys Paletas is a must have. When Im off I rather go to my own job than anywhere else because I know they take good care of everyone. The Fort Eorth cops are always attentive and do a great job. Shoutout to the owner Bryon Evans for bringing Old School Texas to the Northside and dont forget about our New and Improved Old School Texas Too! 🙌

They play a good mix of line dances, country, cumbia, todays hits, and throwbacks. Drinks arent expensive.

Decent club. Mix of Tejano and county and top 40. Drinks were ok and not too bad cost wise.

We have an amazing time every visit. Great atmosphere, DJ plays a variety music. Johny White is an amazing Host.

I Love This Bar. Great mix of Western Tejano and Latin dance mix along with current music as well big open dance floor pool tables and great drink prices.

Worst place ever!! Was dancing with hubby and I was spanked. There was no need for that. People dancing with beer bottles what if a fight breaks out, people will get hurt. Will never go back. Too trashy for us

Great place to go to with friends! Always a good time and the taqueria there has great food! I recommend the gorditas with cheese inside!

Terrible place! They play a few country songs mostly Tejano. Getting a drink is nearly impossible.
