Spa Catawba

Spa Catawba made a special accommodation for me that was not on their menu! No ask was too much and turnaround time for scheduling was so accommodating. This place proves customer service isnt dead in todays world. I was treated like a member of their family and invited into their home. Solid products, very clean facility, and top of the line detail. Go make this place your home spa!

We just visited this weekend for two massages.Upon booking our appointment on the phone with Katie, she mentioned that if we came 30 minutes before our appointment, we would get a complimentary mimosa. I even repeated and asked her to make sure when we were on the phone. I remember laughing and saying well we will be there well before to get our complimentary mimosa! 🤣 We arrived for our appointment, she checked us in and inquired if we wanted a mimosa. Of course, we said yes, because we assumed they were included because that is what she said on the phone. After our appointment, we came home, my dad inquired about the bill because it didn’t seem right(he picked it up for my birthday). So we call and Katie answered the phone. She was going through our services, tip & also proceeded to say that she charged us for our mimosas. We told her that she said they were complimentary when we booked, mentioned NOTHING about “purchasing” a cocktail when we arrived, and she continued to be rude and defensive on the phone saying “she NEVER said that”, the spa used to do that but now they don’t, and she’s worked there for a month.I am giving 4 stars because the spa is beautiful, the services were great, the bathrooms and facility is super clean, and I would totally go back. I am just annoyed about the lack of customer service, when she clearly made a mistake. It wasn’t about the cost of mimosa, I would have gladly paid, but maybe moving forward, you should offer a menu of pricing options for cocktails if a spa patron would like one(and if you actually charge for them. Another friend who goes there said they were complimentary as well).On the other hand, thanks to Tracy & Dan for great massages! We feel great, thanks to them!

Beautiful new facility but that is only the beginning! Many different services offered. Easy to book an appointment over the phone and then fill out all necessary forms online before the appointment. Massage was excellent!

Everything was incredible. The staff was perfectly available but not overpowering allowing me to relax between services. The locker rooms were large, clean, and fresh. The facilities were absolutely wonderful. I had a private sauna followed by a shower. Then I was able to relax for 20 min to enjoy some fresh lemon infused water as well as a light snack. Next I had a 60 min float session followed by another shower, another 15 min relaxation period and finished with a 90 min theraputic massage. I didnt want to leave. It was the perfect addition to my vacation! I will be back.

Spa Catawba was a wonderful experience. The facility is beautiful and so calming. They’ve really crafted their guest experience well so that there’s nothing for you to worry about. Also - the robes!! I bought one when we were finished with the massage, it’s so amazing! Would absolutely recommend the services at the spa for your next relaxation day.

Absolutely amazing experience every time! Today I was particularly stressed about many factors in my life and was not in the best mood when I arrived. After my facial, massage, and outstanding customer service I instantly felt such a relief and a mood improvement. The staff was extremely helpful when asking for an acne scar treatment and provided with me information to do my own research as well as walking me through what they use and how they use it. Very satisfied and excited to try the new product i purchased for my skin!

Lovely atmosphere. I had a Deep Tissue Massage and the Catawba Signature Facial with Dermaplaning. You can tell that every detail has been well thought out. The Manager was very helpful and polite. Can not wait to visit again. Great experience! I would suggest them to anyone who is interested in having services done.

Overall, its a very pretty facility. I struggle to call this a spa though. I think my services have been great, but its really a cold interaction to go in, have your appointment & leave. Ive been to some nice spas over the years in larger cities. The kind where you wear your robe from start to finish, lounge in a plush chase lounge beside your friends, sipping fruity water with a warm towel or cucumbers over your eyes while surrounded by soft ambient lighting and gentle music. The services compare, but the facility does not. Yes, the facility is beautiful, new & clean. However; the relaxing room is really just a pretty waiting room. They charge like a larger, fancy spa, but I think they missed the mark on the extras that larger spas offer. For example; after a salt float I went into the locker room to find no cotton swabs, no shampoo, conditioner, soap, body spray, hair dryer, etc... usually youll find amazing products to sample and then purchase afterwards. As mentioned earlier, the relaxing / waiting room is pretty but basic. You really dont spend much time there except for a quick glass of water. You should WANT to stay there after your treatment and continue to relax. Thats not the case. Overall, Id go back for the specific service booked, knowing I wont get any extras as one would hope with an upscale spa.P.S. - consider sending a digital survey out to your guests after their experience, so you can hear suggestions such as this.

Just what the Port Clinton, OH area needed! I treated myself to a Catawba Customized Collection Spa Package last week. Stephanie did an excellent job on the facial and my skin feels so good (Fresh Water Facial)! I then had a 90 minute hot rock massage with Kathleen. Just amazing how good you feel when you have a great masseuse.I was lucky to be there on one of the days the cafe was open. This is going to be a lovely feature to this establishment. Currently serving smoothies so big they are a meal. I think the one I had was called the Coco Beach (chocolate & banana) and it was delicious. All natural products and some great add-ins to boost your health. Well done Spa Catawba and Employees.

Visiting from Texas and had my lashes refilled today. Wonderful and professional experience. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing. The sweet lash gal had such a gentle and smooth touch. Lashes look amazing! Will absolutely be booking with her again and other services. It’s a must do experience!

Spa Catawba is an excellent business. All staff are so friendly and welcoming. The facility is set up so well. Locker rooms are very clean. The waiting room is a place to relax before your service, in this case, a massage. And it can be used after the massage to enjoy the glow of the experience. The massage room is very quiet. There is no talking. A nice change from some previous experiences elsewhere. The masseuse was very good and my sore muscles were appreciative of her skills. I would highly recommend this spa. There are many services available to pamper you. Check it out. You will be glad you did.

This was my first experience at Spa Catawba and getting my brows laminated and I must first admit that I am totally hooked and will continue with the brow lamination regularly now. In addition, the entire spa was beautifully decorated, clean, organized and relaxing. The equipment was very comfortable and the staff could not have been more attentive and welcoming. I will definitely return and try other services as well! If you’re on the fence about visiting, do not hesitate!

I never knew Spa Catawba existed until I saw a video posted on the @shoresandislandsoh TikTok page. This was my first visit, and they made a fantastic impression! The building is beautiful, the staff are so kind, and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing. I was offered water and homemade protein balls as soon as I was checked in, and my wait was not long at all. I was so relaxed during my lash lift that I almost fell asleep! Checkout was simple and painless. They have so many affordable services to offer. I will definitely be back!

One day after my two week cautionary period after vaccines, I booked an appointment at Spa Catawba for a massage. It had been quite a while since I had a massage and was so looking forward to it.Tracey was my massage therapist and she quickly put me at ease by telling me about her training, asking me my preferences and letting me know what she would be doing.The room was quiet and at low light with just the right kind of music, perfect for relaxation. She did a terrific job — was professional and very clear.I would highly recommend Tracey for both people familiar and unfamiliar with massage.

Amanda is dedicated to the health and wellness of her clients and makes your experience calming and relaxing! Just had my first facial with Stephanie and will definitely go back again. Services provided were exceptional and shes a great educator too!

Had my first facial at Spa Catawba and it won’t be my last! What a beautiful, calm and relaxing space... the whole environment made me feel instantly comfortable. The owner, Stephanie, did my facial and she was wonderful. She really took the time to ask about my skin issues and skin care regimen and then developed a personalized treatment for me, targeting those issues. The products she uses are organic and smell amazing. She has products available for sale but wasn’t pushy about them, like at so many places I’ve been. I felt very welcome there and walked out feeling cared for and relaxed..... and figuring out when I could return! Thanks Stephanie and Spa Catawba!!

Wonderful spa experience - Shayla offers an amazing facial - one of the best Ive ever had. The building is gorgeous and they had plus-sized robes! Loved the product line they use and the pricing was very reasonable.

It was my first visit and not my last! Tracy was amazing. So clean and welcoming. My back is always a mess and tend to bruise after massages, no bruises at all however very relaxed after her massage. Can’t wait to visit the new location, 5 stars!

Spa Catawba is an excellent addition to our area. The new building is beautiful, spacious, and provides a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere upon entering. The staff is also welcoming, competent, and professional. My experience of a 60 minute Catawba Signature Facial was luxurious and top notch. I also appreciate the fact that I was able to schedule my appointment and provide basic information on line previous to my first visit. In summary, Spa Catawba is a gem for our area!

I booked an aromatherapy massage with Amanda to help my sore muscles. The area pretty desperately needed a really nice spa, so I was really excited to give them a try. It’s a smaller facility but I was really pleased by the cleanliness, apparent high sanitization, and friendly greeting. The area to fill out my paperwork was beautifully appointed and, despite the size, felt very relaxing and spa like. I had a very comprehensive talk with Amanda about my needs and expectations for the visit and she also let me smell the Doterra oil she wanted to use. The massage itself was amazing! She checked in consistently about the pressure but also really got in to my tight muscles and released all of the tension. I felt very loose, relaxed and SO much better afterwards! I would highly recommend Spa Catawba and Amanda! Very reasonably priced, great service and lovely facility!!

Omg! This place is AMAZING! I had the BEST massage of my life! I have already booked out through 6 months! All the staff was super friendly. Prices are reasonable (yay!) And the little protein snacks are super yummy! They have a Cafe (closed when I was there) but Im super excited to go to it. SO cute.

I went to Spa Catawba three time in two days (yoga class and cardio sculpt class) and hydra facial treatment. Firstly I like the cosy environment and brand new house, feel warm and comfortable. Super clean and nice interior design.Secondly the staffs, Tony and Stephanie are very friendly and nice. They can accommodate all of my requests and recommended the suitable option to me.Thirdly the classes are very good, either it can fully stretch or fully cardio exercises. There are many options you can choose.

I at the last minute called places to get a massage, for my back was in such pain...I called spa- catawba and they squeezed me in last minute. Not knowing of there services I was right off the bat impressed with how clean and organized. Then, I was taken back to massage room, very professional, and knew how to work out many years of knots. Not really big on doing something like a massage but just changed my mind. Scheduled, actually my wife, to hopefully get some pain relief on my last ever boat detailing efforts. You will be asked if there is a focused area you would like worked on or a full massage. My case was my back and soon found that it pretty much my left leg and left upper/lower back. In short felt much better after leaving but believe this something I will probably continue. Great service all around!

Then you can go to the lounge area where you can get your pre-chill relax started with infused waters, lil healthy snack bites in case you are hungry and zen music.Tracy was a skilled massage therapist, and I could tell she was intuitive which is really key!
