Would never expect it from the outside however on the inside, they have a spectacularly unique decor WITH THE BEST INTELLIGENT LIGHTING in KC. bottle service , and the drinks are not priced outrageous ! ! Which is a huge factor. The door staff and security are respectful but so there job. I’m looking forward to the next establishment concept . Edge xo envy aura ??Ps. It was pretty rad to see a blind young man on the dance floor! Last time I was there the blind young gentleman was all smiles enjoying the ride of bass and low hertz.I lost my iPhone 15 and retrieved it within mins from the BAR.It was turned it not stolen

Definitely a dance place. Music is good. Security is inconsistent. Cover charge fluctuates between 20 and 25 for guys. 20 for women or free if you look good. Dress code is relaxed formal and sort of enforced(chinos, khakis, polos, V necks). No hats even though the webpage says they are allowed. Drinks are priced fairly. Bartenders are quick and nice. Bottle service is fun but not recommended.

I’ve only been here for raves but have always had a blast. The venue is on the smaller side but the layout somewhat makes up for it. They have a nice area outside in the back for when you need a breather from inside cause it can get hot and crowded. You can smoke in the back as well.

I’ve been coming to this club for some years now and it never disappoints EVER! I always have the best service when ordering at the bar, the music is always on point, the set up is literally AMAZING. I love all the lights in there! I have a lot of respect for the owner putting this all together and running great!

I have the most amazing nights at Aura Nightclub . From the drinks to the impeccable service this is the one nightclub that I feel is the safest and friendliest option in the entire Kansas City area. They have outstanding DJ performances.Thursday is Latin night, Friday is hip hop night, and Saturday is EDM night. Megan and Matthew are two of many fantastic bartenders on site. The bottle service and speedy drink delivery continues to exceed expectations.

I always have a great time at Aura. Perfect spot to bring your friends and hang out on the dance floor. Also plenty of tables available to reserve and fantastic service to go with it - Ailan is my go to bartender. They bring actual big name artists to DJ and make whole events out of it. Highly recommend for a fun, safe place to go out.

My experience with Aura has been nothing but positive and felt welcomed. The staff are nice and helpful. Drinks and music are always great, my friends and I always have a fun time.

I had one bad experience with a security guard BUT, once I spoke to the owner at the end of the night he apologized and gave my money back. Besides that one time out of the many other nights I have gone, aura is a vibe. Def shout out to the bartender closest to the door (believe his name Mathew) like getting drinks from him because he is nice and always has a grin

Always had a blast here! Megan is the absolute best bartender there, with attention to detail and the best attitdude in the club! If you arent coming for the amazing music, come to say hi to her and the staff who will greet you with a smile and make you an amazing drink!

A few weeks ago my friend took me here to Aura, I had a great time, great atmosphere, the music and the DJ ‘s are amazing!! It was fun filled night, I will definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone!!

Obviously great music, but they do the little things right here to better the atmosphere! They have the best bartenders too. Ailan made me the best manhattan Ive ever tasted. Later she gave me a pep talk to boost my confidence. It was simultaneously a night of clubbing and therapy. 10/10 will be returning.

My first time ever going to a club was at aura and I met three new people my first hour being going my friend was the perfect person to go with. He introduced me to Bartender who knows what there doing I was able to get super close to the dj and when I needed to cool down there is a nice chill area and I don’t have to leave the club and don’t get me started if it’s a birthday party.

My sister and I were in the back of the club by the bar and the club was closing however the club is still packed with people so we aren’t moving yet. This “security man” with locs in a top ponytail approaches us with hostility and is explaining that we need to leave the club and it’s closing and he is ready to go and has to get back home to his baby. We were looking at him with confusion because why did he feel the need to say this to us?! Then my sister states “it’s not that serious” and he states “I’m not going to put my hands on you who are you with”?! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HE TALKING ABOUT?! Mentioning assaulting us?! Criminal! Sir as soon s swung… LAWSUIT!!! He commences to ask the bartender if she knew us and she said no because yes we don’t know each other and he continuously states that we’re looking at him like he’s crazy. Well yeah because that’s how you’re acting when we haven’t even said anything to you. Very hostile to two black women who have not caused any issue. Then we watch as he gives none of the same energy for any other Caucasian people who were just standing around. He was just walking around them cleaning up. So what was the difference?! He was so unprofessional and rude! We didn’t choose this overnight club for him where he needs to be away from his child at 3am. Don’t bring that to others.. YOU CHOSE THIS JOB! I spoke to a manager and he was willing to listen to what I had to say and informed me that’s not how they attempt to get people to out the establishment. We feel very discriminated against from a man of our own descent! Disgusting! Save that energy for people who are causing chaos! Please pick better employees to represent your establishment

This place is a total slice of LA right here in Kansas City Missouri. I prefer hip-hop Fridays but any of the nights Aura is open is a good night. Its always poppin at Aura. If youre reading this, just go.

Ive been here many times and years on end. Being going there since 21 and now im 31. I enjoy aura. The music is great. They use to play hip hop on saturdays, which would be when id come, but looks like its more electronic and edm stuff now on that day. Probably because they get more people for events that way which is fine, just not my type of music is all. Not a big deal. The drinks are always great. I think this place has great potentional. My only thing about place is its always so crowded so you can never dance. Its the one thing i enjoy doing and go for so its hard to do it there. I wish they would renovate it to have a bigger dance floor. I know it aint easy though since everything comes at a price, time and space, but man i think just having more dance space to atually dance set of not being able to even move just getting bumped.side to side would make this place one of the best for sure. Its sad to say because i stopped comong here because i cant ever dance here. Just cant even move. Your judt squeezed in the whole time, but i do love the music they always have. Keep being great though aura!!

Our place to hangout! Security is great there, we always feel safe to be there, service was awesome and lights and sound is the best in town. Weve been there over many yrs and the owner did a great job keep updating the place.

Love this place! By far my favorite KC club, and one of the few with AWESOME EDM artists on their lineup. The best place in KC to go and party on a Friday or Saturday night and listen to some good music.The only place to go and get good prices on bottle service, drinks, tables, or anything else for a great night out.

Went here for my cousins birthday. I used to go there when it was Zen years ago! They revamped the look, it’s nice but I was definitely too old to be there!

Oh my god I cannot rave enough about this place!!! The atmosphere and the DJ’s playlists were so good!!! Even the bartenders were spot on with their service! I believe her name was Ailen? Ailan? I’m sorry if I messed that up! But she was absolutely AMAZING. So fast at getting our drinks to us even with a busy crowd. She definitely deserves a raise. 10/10 recommend and will be back very soon!!

This is the roofie club in Kansas City. Watch your drinks and beware of the bartenders. Watch your drinks be poured/made. Don’t leave anything unattended. If you can, buy beer only and try to open them yourself. Dozens of stories of people getting roofied there.

Definitely a good spot for DJ/EDM underground artists, or even some mainstream. Some of the lgbtq people get a little out of hand otherwise it would be 5 star.

I don’t make it out much, but went there for one of the DJ shows a few saturdays ago… HOW FUN!!!! i was so lost on what to order for a drink, but the spunkiest bartender Alan (who is absolutely adorable btw) made great suggestions and not to mention mixed it PERFECTLY!!! i can’t wait to go back 😊

A decent club with a good visual setup, nothing special on audio. Small-ish dance floor. No re-entry or seating (without table purchase). Bartenders will absolutely double charge, so get an itemized receipt. To the owner: How is it possible I ordered a double water?

If you’re thinking to go here you should think it twice. Me and my friends went yesterday friday and when we leave at 2 am i found my car with a window broken. I thought it was a safe place but to be honest it is not. If you go there u should take an uber otherwise you will get stolen and with your car windows broken. It was the worst experience ever.

Saw Virtual Riot here and it was a great time ! Only thing I would say is that its kinda small for a concert like that, but it was still fun.

Such a disappointment. Was recommended to visit after a bad experience at another bar. Was told the bottle girls were beautiful and the club had great energy… I was extremely disappointed when a washed-up looking older blonde came to my group for bottle service. There were so many other vibrant younger girls and I got sent the old goose. Had the personality of a plastic straw, and had the worst attitude towards my group. She was so off putting we left. If you want happy costumers, I’d keep her in the back and wouldnt let guest come into contact with her. Not only was her personality so off putting, it must be embarrassing for her to be with the younger more energy filled girls who I’m sure get better guest interaction.Everything else was ok but that older blonde ruined it for us. Won’t be visiting again until the retirement home takes her back.

Had the most amazing time at aura last night! I haven’t been out to an actual night club since before Covid. I was treated so well as soon as I walked in- I was walked to my table by private security and our bartender Baylee took amazing care of us. She was courteous and quick about everything we asked of her. I’ll be back soon that’s for sure!!

My husband and I went out with our friends last weekend and had the best time! We did bottle service and Baylee was amazing! She took care of everything and made sure we had a great time. We will definitely be back again!

For the countless time I have been to Aura I loved it until last Thursday. I had always counted on this place to be fun, exciting, and an amazing atmosphere to hang out with friends from out of state. When invited to a birthday celebration in vip I was excited to show my friend their first club in Kansas City! We had fun until the night was cut short for us for an unknown reason. The head of bottle service had decided to threaten me saying I walk out now or get kicked out by security. Mind you there was no prior fights let alone interactions that night. To then be bashed in front of security, and the light technician was very unpleasing and unprofessional. I had not argued let alone said any profanity and to be escorted out and have the woman talk rude to me in my ear was frustrating. I really hope the owner takes this into consideration and is able to correct the staffing. I want to be able to be able to still invite friends and spend money at this establishment but with the behavior from the woman on the 8/17/23 I don’t think I will.

I love Aura. I know reviews can be a bit of a mixed bag for any club, but I will tell you this, Ive been going there for the past year and to a person the staff is friendly and professional. Bar staff (Mat) is AWESOME and security staff are super professional and handle incidents in a way that is safe for everyone involved. Please remember security (in any venue) is not always able to see everything. Raving is a team sport. If you ever see anything say something. Never allow anyone to enter anothers personal space in an unwanted manner. Guys - seriously...please step up.As far as the sound and lights are concerned - Id put this club up against ANY other club in the world for production - Vegas, Paris, Amsterdam, Atlanta, etc. If you get a chance stand on the raised part of the floor to the right side of the DJ booth you will feel bone shaking bass through your feet.In fairness, my experience is based on EDM nights.

Taylor at aura is one amazing bottle service girl. My friends and I decided to get a table reservation for a major EDM artist on Saturday night and boy was it the right choice. The booking process was super simple. Taylor was extremely nice, extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I had a great time. I’m sure the other bottle service girls are great as well, however if you can, I suggest booking with Taylor! Thanks again for a great experience!

Great dance spot - Plenty of drinks and cool AC to keep you dancing all night long. Areas to sit and relax for a break and multiple bars make it easy to get a drink.

The visuals are the best in KC and the co workers are literally like family to me.

Out of all the clubs in Kansas City Aura is definitely the best. They always have the best artists and music and the lights and lasers are insanely awesome. Really friendly atmosphere too.Im more of a party guy, not a pay for a table with a bottle of gray goose just be seen - type of guy. Unfortunately if you havent booked a table there is limited seating. However, did meet some really cool people there too.We went on a Saturday and saw Justin Hawkes and Reaper going back to back, it was a mental DnB night.

Always a great time. Saturday edm nights can get crowded, but the owner has been intentional in taking steps to lower max capacity, even if it means making less money. He genuinely cares for his patrons and their needs/ wants. Light production is top notch. Immersive & intimate experience with international headliners.

Aura was fire tonight. 20$ to enter to big shots of vodka for 16$ best prices i’ve seen out here. The afrobeat night was fire. Definitely coming back when they do it again we were lit!!!! Best club i’ve been too out here in KC.

I have been a raver for about 2 years now. Having gone to a couple festivals including Dancefestopia and Schwagstock it is SO beyond refreshing to have a club like Aura so close to where I live that plays local talent that is ALWAYS off the chain!! With the lights, incredible sound system, very reasonable drink prices, it’s always a great time. I love all the door guys, bottle girls/bartenders and security people. They are very welcoming and always greet me with a hug and a smile! Being a KC native I have been to many other clubs in Kansas City and Aura is, by far, hands down, THE BEST NIGHTCLUB IN KC!! I love this place so much!!! 10/10 💯/💯. Go there!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Aura by far is one of the best places if you are someone who really is interested in deeper aspects of music. The lighting, the bass, the layout of the dance floor... the intimacy of it all is incredible. I’ve met some of the most knowledgeable and passionate DJ’s, bartenders, and support staff at Aura. They have by far become my favorite go-to, and many of the staff have become some great friends. Definitely find Megan behind the bar - she is amazing (tip her well!) My favorite night to go out is definitely Saturday, when they play electronic music.It is a vibe, and on a different level than most other bars in KC, so you have to be prepared for that. But definitely give it a go, and say hi if you see me :)

I’m a real homebody but happened to come here for a bachelorette party. It was my first time in a nightclub and although I don’t drink, I still had an absolute blast. They make sure you are well hydrated, the music and atmosphere is awesome, and the staff was extremely friendly and down to earth. We went right when it opened, so it wasn’t as packed as it was when we left at midnight, but nonetheless, I had a great time. It was an awesome first experience.

Staff is excellent and prompt.The music was on point, bartenders make a mean drink courtesy from all the waitresses and these amazing guys/girls that serve us the alcohol and kept our table clean and dry and moved so fast. Best night in KC ever!!!!!!!!(Huge shout out to the best BOTTLE GIRL EVER “BAYLEE” and the rest of the crew) yall need to go there and have fun. The venue itself is great although they could quit with the $5 waters. Amazing light displays, loud music, and variety of DJs and guest artists. Biggest problem is the crowd is super hit and miss, as its in Westport it doesnt always live up to its club feel. Wish KC could be more exclusive in its bar/club admission but not the fault of this venue, I have the same gripe with most places in town.

By far the BEST club in Kansas City!!! They have the best girls, security, workers, etc. It’s endless when it comes to the amount of good times and memories I have made here. (April 2022) My group went last minute on a Saturday for my birthday. I got lucky because Baylee was working this evening. She literally waited on us all night and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Ive never experienced such service. She truly made my birthday the best it could have been. Even made sure to help us to our Uber and make sure they had the right directions. I messed up on my receipt and she reached out to confirm the total. Integrity in the club/bar scene is rare and Aura should be proud to have someone like her there. My only complaint is that if you put down a deposit, it is non-refundable. I recommend going early and seeing if there are any tables available when you get there, instead (if possible). I also wish the DJ would play more whole songs rather than small snippets of each.Thank you!!!

I live out of town 3 hours away, but I’ve been to Aura a couple times for a concert. Not only were the bouncers/security friendly and professional, but the bartenders and staff inside were as well. It was a little packed but i expected it from The Best Nightclub in KC, and the headliner brought a ton of people in. The owner has done a great job with all the renovations and keeping up the inside of the place!

Great place to party in KC! DJ’s are always on point. Best light system in KC. The bottle girls and all staff are always fun and make sure you are taken care of. Also, nice to see an owner that really cares about his customers.

Bracquel and Veronica were probably the single best wait staff employees Ive ever experienced within my time living in KC. They went out of their way to ensure that not only my needs for beverages were met, but going so far as to ensure that I had a plan once leaving and that speaks volumes for their customer service centric approach to bartending as whole. We purchased a table service package and I honestly and earnestly feel like it was one of the most valuable experiences of my entire life. If you are on the edge on whether or not to enjoy the VIP Aura experience, my personal recommendation to you as a KC citizen is to do so without an ounce of hesitation.

I’ve been going to this Nightclub faithfully for the last 7 years and it always feels like home because of the service you receive here! Especially if you get bottle service the experience is top notch from the bottle girls down to the the bar backs. They check on you throughout the night and make sure you have everything you need to make every dollar spent well worth it! If you visit Kansas City do not forget to stop by this place on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. You won’t regret it - love the energy of this nightclub!

Baylee was the best. She took care of us the entire time we were there. Top notch waitress. Always looked out for my wife and I. I recommend her to serve you and your party. Cant say enough good about her.

Great place to have fun let loose and Dance the night away went last saturday when Dj Notaker was there and got bottle service got a vip table a liter bottle of ciroc free mixers(2 curaffes) and 10 people in for free when we booked it total cost after the 18% gratuity was $320 but thats because we chose the more expensive liquor and 6 red bulls .

Aura is definitely my go to stop if I want to get out in the city. Great bottle girls, bouncers are respectful and personable (Randy may be the coolest guy I have ever meet), and plenty of space to let loose with your friends. Have had many great nights at Aura and plan many many more. Owner Stu has created a great club for KC filled with an eclectic group of people. Great energy!

I ended leaving my keys and merchandise from a concert i attend the same night. I came two separate times to recover my items. Extremely professional yet personable owners and staff. Me and some friends got a section on the 21st of April to celebrate our birthdays, and we had nothing short of a great experience! Our server Baylee OMalley was such a huge help. Presentation was amazing, drinks were brought whenever we ordered and she was just so hospitable. Everyone enjoyed themselves, we definitely will be back

Hell, seeing the tables and the level of service given made me quite jealous as the crew at Aura go above and beyond from what I could see. Aura is the best club in KC! The staff is fast and efficient! From bartender, server to bussers. The club is filledWith amazing club lights and lasers and the best DJs around. Great club, great vibe, great music. Staff is more than professional. Ive had the privilege of DJn here a number of occasions and the owner and staff have been very stand up with me. This is hands down Kansas City’s best night club it brings diversity into the music scene! The bottle service is amazing, the bottle service staff is the best I’ve encountered. But the bartenders if you don’t have a table are super friendly and fun and will be dancing behind the bar with you while slanging the best drinks! Prices are reasonable and affordable. They have the best production in Kansas City hands down. Always an amazing time at aura!

Terrible.... Worse experience ever. Finding out it is a molly club made it more overstanding as to why the experience was so dreadful. Music was terrible. Energy was off. Only thing that was appealing was the lights and the glow in the dark theme. The dancers.. bartenders whatever look at you weird and the men are creeps. Will never go back. Just happy I was with a party and didnt have to pay to get in

Aura is easily my favorite night club in KC! The atmosphere resembles a Las Vegas nightclub, the drinks are on point & the staffs always on their game. I love how the owner is always there & walks around taking high quality pictures and posts online for you to save. Also, there’s a photo booth which is incredible. Overall, would def recommend if you like good music & good vibes!

I have been to Aura several times over the years. It starts at the door. Friendly staff. Amazing lights and displays. Several bars so you don’t feel like you’re waiting forever for a cocktail or shot. It’s a true blast of a nightclub and no matter how many times I say, last song... I end up staying till the end because the DJs just VIBE!!!!

Aura is by far the best experience in KC. The security is top notch so you can be assured you will be safe. The staff is superb and treat everyone no matter their race with the upmost respect. The owner goes above and beyond. He has different nights for the Hispanic community which shows his love for diversity. The lights are so wicked cool. You will not regret a night out at Aura!

Unlike some of the other reviews, I have never once had a bad experience at Aura. The sound system is legit, the lighting effects are second to none in KC, and the service is fantastic.Granted, I dont show up trying to negotiate cover charges... I also wear a collar when I leave the house for a night out.The drinks are incredibly affordable here, and bottle service is in line with the market (sometimes better when you behave right and show up with others who do the same).If you cant swing a $6 drink, stay home.If you want to enjoy one of the best dance/EDM clubs in town, try Aura.There is definitely NO RACISM/DISCRIMINATION going on here. Just take a look at the publicly posted photo albums. Plenty of color and orientation abound.Theres a reason why this club pulls some of the best talent, and theres a bunch of KC Nightlife people who understand it.Great job, Stuart. Keep it up.

My first trip to Aura was an absolute success. It is a fun and up-beat club with a great DJ. The security team was very professional and seemed to be on top of their game. The bartenders are attentive and do well with the amount of people that were requesting drinks. The club has a VIP lounge and a few booths. The girls working there, bring out bottles with sparklers which is a neat touch for celebrations. The dance floor is dead center of the club next to a large DJ booth. There are a couple of platforms as well for women (only) to dance on. It was a good diverse mix of people. Parking can be challenging which is expected.

I love Aura, been a loyal customer for awhile now and it’s always a great time! Staff provides excellent service, music is always fire and the light show in there goes crazy. If you’re looking for a night to remember, aura is the spot!

I really like this club. From the lighting to the DJs, they always bring it! The staff is tops, security staff is professional and prompt, the bartenders and servers are fun and hard working. Latin nights are a fun hidden gem on Thursdays, hip hop with Trace Beats is always fun on Fridays, and the electronic music on Saturdays is always fun because they bring in the best DJs for it. Will be back.

The lighting system was a little over the top . Id like to see .more 3d imaging . And the sound could use some attention .the line up was good .the drink where well priced .but the staff was amazing.

Security here is not adequate. Dont go here as a woman. I wont share details publicly, but a friend I was out with was assaulted at this club in a scenario which absolutely should not have even occurred if security was doing their jobs. Really horrifying. Get better security and prove you can protect your customers or shut down. Maybe if your bouncers were less concerned about making sure only women were dancing on the stages and wasting their time kicking dudes off the dancing stages they would have had time to prevent what happened to my friend.

Great atmosphere and a solid mix of DJ’s perform at Aura on different nights. One of the few places that actually feel like a club in KC, plus the staff and bottle girls always on point!

This is the place to go if youre a fan of DJs and dancing. The talent they bring in is incredible, drinks arent too expensive, and Ive had a blast every time Ive gone, which has been steadily increasing. Highly recommend this venue.

Aura nightclub is definitely the place to be for a night out! I’ve been going here for years and am never disappointed. The lights are incredible, staff is always super professional and respectful and make every night a fun experience no matter the occasion. It’s a nice club but too small for big artists. It gets to crowded and people spill there drinks on you. As a short person it’s very hard to see and no room to dance. No disrespect towards you guys but that’s just how I feel. But it’s super nice on the inside

Hands down the best production in town! The lighting is state-of-the-art, and the sound system is ridiculous! The drinks are fairly priced (especially for a nightclub)! I mean, wells are only $6 and it’s the same in most of Westport. The bottle service makes you feel like a real VIP and the bottle servers are friendly and attentive. This place offers an exclusive VIP experience without feeling stuffy or snobby. Aura has always been my go-to!

My friend and I came in from Springfield for her birthday and we had an amazing time! The lights were great, music was bumping, and bottle girls were great! However, the young lady that was bartending that night was extremely rude. My friend asked to close her tab and she rudely asked well who opened it?! Which we wouldnt know because one, we arent from there, and two, it was extremely loud obviously! Her whole demeanor was just hostile and rude. Her name is sahricka and she was working the bar closest to the door. Other than that, it was great!!

Aura is an awesome place to hang out, dance, and drink with friends. Have had nothing but good experiences with the staff as well. Overall, a great time to just get out and get away from the grind of the work week.

There are a lot of places to go in Kansas City as far as the bar scene goes, but aura has created a name for itself... Review mostly for Latin night:I most likely wont come back for Latin night again. I was here for over 2 hours and only 10 min of bachata and 10 min of salsa was played. The rest was reggaeton/hiphop. Needless to say I was highly disappointed. Drinks were good and well priced. The globes that was moving up and down by the bar were dusty as hell on top of them. Bathroom could have been cleaner but besides all of this, the club is decent as is.

Aura is always an amazing experience! Bracquel has been my bottle girl many times and always does a fabulous job. She is personable, efficient, and makes your experience worth the night. I highly recommend many nights at Aura!

Best section sizes, and mix of music for KC. Went to the Corrupt UK event and it was absolutely amazing good service for drinks didnt have to wait long and then really good EDM music and set up.

Ive been going to aura for years and honestly was not too big of a fan back then.But, ever since Stuart took ownership, I have only seen improvements that have made this club, the BEST in the city with their incredible sound system, and state of the art lighting! I literally notice additional lighting everytime I am up there. I also want to thank Stuart for playing a major part in the EDM scene here in KC! Great club to have national and international DJs drop by with a high caliber production. Overall, always a great experience at this venue.

Very rude staff! Wouldn’t let certain people in because of “what they were wearing” but let the next person that had the exact colors on and more of that certain color in the club....I was in this club for 10 minutes and was ready to leave. (Couldn’t due to me being a DD)... The place kept letting people in not sure what the max is.. I could barely move.. The staff would yell out move when they needed to get through the crowd... Very trashy! I wish I could give it no stars..Will not recommend this club to anyone!Both people had the same solid red shirt on..the only difference is the one that got in had a red shirt and red pants on and they were not fitted.... I went in the club and a dress code was definitely not followed! So Mr. Owner save your typing...

Great night club with some of the best performances in Kansas City. Aura has always been a solid spot for a great night out. Very reasonably priced for bottle/table service and the staff is friendly and attentive.

I’ll be honest... I’ve had my share of club days and go more for the music or a particular DJ I’m a fan of is in town. Being around the scene now damn near 20 years from festivals to the old school underground raves.. This place is for the fan and caters to you enjoying your night. Plus the DJ is basically in your face so they tend to get lit 🔥.... plus everyone there and the staff is all about good vibes! They do a good job at keeping the negative rift-rat away that you tend to have at a lot of club scenes open to the general public.

May or may not have left a pissed off drunken review. This is my sober review. Been to Aura 5-6 times and had fun most of the times. Music is usually standard top 40s club style. Environment is off the charts bad ass. bar tenders sorta suck. I had a tab open and ordered a second round from a different bar tender and I was told that they do not share tabs. Maybe Im wrong but literally every bar I have ever been to shares tabs. No way in hell am I going to open a tab then wait for the same bar tender every time.

If you’re in KC and you want a real big city club experience, there’s really only a few options. There are a couple other places that bring in good performers but are lacking staff, visual enhancements and even audio quality. When I go to Aura, I know I’ll get the whole package. The security makes me feel safe inside and outside the establishment, there are plenty of bartenders and bars to keep lines minimal and the drinks a comin, the sound system is clear and equalized perfectly throughout every section of the club, the lighting setup is a masterpiece and is unparalleled, the DJs range from the best in KC to the best in the world, AND the bottle service makes you feel like nothing less than royalty. Do yourself a favor and book a table at Aura.

I was recently there to celebrate my 40th birthday with a group of friends. I couldnt have asked for a better night. If you go get bottle service, it is worth every penny and then some. The staff were on top of everything, we wanted for nothing. The DJs were awesome, there was never a time you werent dancing, either in your seat or on the floor! I couldnt recommend this club more! a if I could give more than five stars I would. The owner Stuart, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The environment will take you straight to a club in Vegas! We always felt safe and well taken care of. Great experience. Will definitely be back! The dress code is much more lax than places Ive been to in Vegas so as long as you dont dress like a hoodlum or lazy college student living in your parents basement youll be fine! Dress to impress, youre not going to Walmart people! And trust me when I say there is no discrimination there, race, age, sex or otherwise. I brought in a group of people of all ages, genders and races and not once have we ever felt discriminated against. Just check Aura out, you will not be disappointed.

If you’re looking for a busy club/dance this is the spot. Dj’s are always hot and it’s busy here. Great team of waitstaff and the bottle girls are really fun.

Even though this is not my type of place it still gets 5 stars. So many lasers and lights and its hard to talk to someone and have a conversation with how loud the music is and wearing masks doesnt help. The lines are so long if you dont arrive early, Im not sure if its because of the virus rules or what but waited over an hour to get in which really sucked because it was raining and cold. The dress code is very strict, one of my friends had sweats on and wasnt allowed in, we even tried to pay extra but they said no.Now the reason I give this place 5 stars we couldnt find one of our friends and she didnt have her phone we spent most of the night looking for her knowing she probably drank to much worried out of our minds. When the club was closed we waited till the last person came out and still didnt find her. Luckily we found her when we checked her apartment. We found out later she had fallen asleep in the restroom. Security found her and helped her up, she had drank to much so they let her sit for a while and the manager got her pizza from next door to help her sober up and ordered an uber for her so she got home safe. This may not be my type of place to hang out but how they make sure people are okay gets 5 stars from me.Leena says thank you and so do I

Paid a $20 cover only to leave after 5 minutes of being here on a Saturday night. The DJ when we went was awful. No one could dance to the awful music. The seats are ripped as well. I would definitely not go back. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Had my girlfriends birthday at Aura on November 20th, and it was a wonderful experience. The DJs played excellent music and our bottle service was exceptional!

Really enjoy coming to Aura!I’ve had some of the funnest and most memorable moments with my girlfriends here. Specially love coming to Latino nights on Thursdays. They bring some of the hottest DJs and play a mix of the latest reggeaton, bachata, few merengue and salsa. Also hip hop!Thursday nights are probably the most diverse crowd. Love seeing people from all ethnicities loving the Latin rhythms! Expect it to be packed but still enough space to dance and have a good time.Environment is dark with lots of bright strobe lights.Recently met the owner of Aura and he is a decent guy. Can definitely tell he cares about this bar, the crowd coming in and employees!We’ll be back! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

Was super excited to come after all the hype on the radio. Um, yeah no offence but this place is just lame. Crappy music, way too over priced drinks, and Im fine with paying too much, but they tasted like crap, and I tried 3 different ones. Also random but Im only 58 and felt out of place bc everyone there was about 52...did I not get the memo for short ppl bar?
