The ONLY thing NICE is they remodeled. So its no wonder they are charging $20 entrance fee. $250 for a table. Drinks (moscow mules) $15.00. MONEY MONEY MONEY - UTAH - the ROOT OF ALL EVIL- MONEY! Never again. I will never come back. This place sucks. Music was AAAIIGHT but a mix of latina music would have been great to compensate the outrages fees. This isnt Miami. Perdon!

The new administration is awful , they charge $250 or buy a alcohol for $250 plus $20 admission, they only play reguetón , drinks are expensive , we were a group of 10 people we used to go to Karamba every other weekend with the other administration, they used to play bachata, salsa, cumbia, Banda, reguetón a little bit of everything , they didn’t charge to sit on the table . I won’t recommend this place anymore.

They charge $15 PER person for cover on SUNDAY!! And also make you to pay $22 for the small cup of coke and one can of White claw and ask us tips💀💀 Scamming alert 🚨

Decent vibes, dj played the same genre most of the time. Female servers were nice but a little pushy. If I had the opportunity to go back or stay home Id choose the latter.

The outside security men/ women are so friendly. $20 bucks to get in is rough though. They accept cash or card payment. The music is pretty loud. $4 for a water bottle. Ouch. You can go in and out as long as you have your armband. So that’s great!

Newly remodeled in December 2023. Over 400 LED screens and incredible lights and staff show every night. Over 900 people in attendance every Saturday. The biggest party in Utah period. Beautiful building and beautifully decorated

I cant recommend any other night besides Sunday since i havent been any other night. It is Latin and gay on Sundays but perhaps the best nightlife around that night. I would highly recommend coming if you like to dance and party with the gays! The Security does there job well. Drink prices are a little high for what you get. The biggest down fall has to be the drinking water situation. Wanna stay hydrated? They only sell water bottles for 3 or 4 bucks. I really wish they had a self serve tank with cups like many other clubs. But the environment and music is hard to beat. The guys dancing on stage are hot and the crowd is plenty fun! Dont be shy. Plenty of non latin people dancing!

I went with some friends, the music is too loud that we were kind of deaf after we left the place. It is hard to talk with each other. Also it is too hot, there is not good ventilation, and ilumination. If you want to sit and watch your friends dancing it is hard to see them. This place is more regeton than salsa, bachata, or cumbias. This place was not for me, maybe for people who loves regeton and want some alcohol.

5/2024 update, new owners… still same scheme: BE AWARE BAR TENDERS WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Check your credit card, demand a receipt, got charged $75 for 3 drinks, plus a tip from a pushy bar tender girl. So much security there for a reason, men are problematic and fight too much. Thumbs down.

It’s too expensive for what it is! A cheap table with four chairs $90 on top of a cover if you don’t get there on time. ALSO! They do not pay attention to those who are drunk to get them out.

This club has more security guards than an airport. They yelled at cause I had a tank top on. And all the other people had a lot less clothes on than I did. The music was way too loud. Not an enjoyable place to hang with your friends.

Used to be the place to go for latin dancing. Run down, too dark, patrons are a hit and miss, could be shady and not safe. Music not that great, they need to reinvent themselves in many aspects. There are alternatives but it depends on the age population you want to be in. This place is for all ages but mostly older folks and the alternatives are for youngsters. No great place for Latin music in SLC so far…..

So disappointed with the new administration, service was terrible, they make us uncomfortable, unwelcoming, they ruined our night and they give us the worse service since we got in to the place, including the owner who never came to apologize. The security guards where rude and unfriendly.

This was my first time there. Decided to go to celebrate my birthday and had a great time with my group. VIP was Lit. Great experience overall. Definitely recommend.

Cool place to dance, a lot of people of all ages, a big selection of Latin music. Improving overall quality of drinks would level up this place.

Karamba has always been a favorite night club of mine. I enjoy the latin feel. Having been to México many times myself, it always gives me a little bit of a nostalgic vibe which is nice when I cant travel to México as often as I would like. I went on their 8th Anniversary night so the place was a party filled with ballons, decor, photographers, good security, drag performers, and gogo dancers.

It was a gay Latin night... Music was awesome, the crowd was ok. Not as much dancing as I expected. But I sat back with a friend and hookah (which was way overpriced) but it was an enjoyable spot. I think other nights are happening since I saw a lot of flyers for events and Id probably go back on a different themed night

Excellent location yet the music was very poor. It was obvious that the best music would be reproduced at other night clubs. from what I hear they give new and unexperienced DJs the chance to showcase their ability at this local. Very laughable choice of music and I have DJed and lived in Miami for over a decade. This is a good place to come for a good drink though.Bartender was kind. I will be back for this alone.

Always a great time!! I have no complaints at all. Great service. Great music. Great atmosphere. Two dance floors. Several bathrooms so you don’t wait. Several VIP tables with accommodating service. Convenient parking. Lots of beautiful women attend. I’ve been coming for years and I plan to continue going.

Security staff is polite, but they choose who they wish to enforce the dress code with. I was told to remove my hat, yet they allowed two other people in, with their hats on. Very crowded, and all the tables are reserved, so no real places to sit. I did not enjoy my time here, and most likely will not be returning.

I had a great time overall... But the music in the first room was wack(could of picked some better songs) I also requested a song and after the DJ said he would play it, he didnt! Its not that hard to take a request! Tables were all reserved but even when they closed the people that reserved never showed up*irritating* ! Overall alright considering the above only because I enjoyed myself no matter what!! Not sure i will be returning.

Well, a group of 4 girls, want to dance on a Saturday night. All tables were only to pay for. So we stood at the bar. After about 10min security asked us to leave the bar because the bartender wanted so. That is rude people. That club has seen us the very last time. Thanks for no thanks

I got VIP with my sisters and they ended up kicking us out for no reason. My sister also asked to speak to the manager on why and they got even more mad. Waste of money and doesn’t get as full like other clubs I’ve been to here and I can see why now.👎

Music is nice and the place is good for dancing, have restrooms downstairs also but the customer service keep me away. I dont want to come back and have a uncomfortable night for a waitress fault.

Cover charge and drinks are VERY EXPENSIVE and the bartenders there have a reputation of tipping themselves by not giving the right amount of change back or by charging extra on your card without you knowing (thats stealing). Its bad enough that they charge too much for everything. Me my friends use to go there but stopped going because of that.

Not gonna lie, this place is ok. You cant really have a conversation with anyone because the music is too loud so you literally have to be up in someones ear... to talk to them - thats like invading my personal bubble. Other than that... its ok.

Went last nite to see how this club was. $10 cover charge is ok but then you go in and all the tables are reserved, there is no where to sit.i ask about where 3 of us could sit and they tell me I must pay $40 for a table. I just paid $30 for 3 of us to get in. Music was way to loud. I will not be going back there again.

Please be aware this is a Latin club with loud music. Nice to come and dance to Raggaeton and cumbias like all other Latin clubs around the world. Please appreciate the culture and be nice to the staff.

Bartenders suck, charged me for 3drinks I never took, on top i askd for a Yager & she gave me a simple vodka shot, she spilt it by accident & still charged me for it. They need some learning.. My first time ever going clubbing for my 21st & was a horrible night .

We went on a Saturday night and it was a fun club but their fog machine was way too much !! the air was way too thick full of fog and we were all sick from it that night and the next day with headaches ,lungs were sick etc.! The fog machine is not neccessary, especially when its way too much ! We wont probably go back unless they get rid of the fog machine or go easy on it !

If I could do zero stars I would. DJ was so rude and not taking requests. His face was plastered all over the screens and projectors. Terrible service. He isn’t here for the fun of everyone in the club. Terrible night.

They will charge you 15 dollars and then you will not have a table

Its a fun place but there is nothing special about it to have to pay an entry fee.

The security guards are sucks ,,, and many people have a bad smell . Forgot to shower .

They have unlicensed security which is illegal. In Utah you must be certified by DOPL to even have the word security on your clothes. If the state finds out they are not licensed they will fine the club thousands of dollars. Its not hard to get licensed take a class pay the money.

I was totally disappointed in the organization of the Jessi Uribe concert and also in the establishment, since the fire alarm rang throughout the concert, the sound was totally bad, they did not respect the VIP area at all, we bought a ticket for 120 dollars, plus 400 to be able to get a table and sit down and 350 minimum consumption to be there, when we never spent the entire amount because we dont drink drinks, and when the concert started at 12, people known to the organizers or waiters entered completely free of charge! ! Where is the culture and respect? I dont recommend this place. There were people who were not Latino, and seeing this disorder made us even more ashamed.

They are thieves, I dont recommend it, they should ask the prices first, 300 for a bottle and apart from that, tax and tip were 470 dollars, very expensive. I wont be coming back, plus 20 dollars for the entrance fee per person.

I had been to bad concerts but Jessi Uribes took first place, the disorder, the artist said on social networks that at 9 pm he makes us wait from 7 pm and leaves at 12 pm!!! and he only spends his time drinking, the sound is one of the worst to top it off with the fire alarm, he spent the entire concert sounding... all this for a supposedly VIP service that was never seen!!! Than pay 200 dollars for that!!!One of the worst experiences of my life

I have visited several places, but Karamba is my favorite! Excellent music to dance to, a little bit of everything! Good environment, good security!My only recommendation would be that there are very few bathrooms and it gets chaotic in the middle of the night and that the waitresses are a little rude when asking for tips. They practically demanded it every time we ordered something.But, by far, they are the best of the best!

I consider myself a karamba customer every time I can, I enjoy going and good service, but today it was not like that since he was hit by a security, I was riding on the stairs and I really shouldnt have been there but the excitement of seeing The artist took me to do it. But I think that is something normal and something security should be prepared for. Know how to speak and dialogue with the public. I have a bruise on the back of my head and I have a cut on my ankle. A dark-skinned boy, about 1.70 tall, jumped on me for no reason whatsoever. The reason was supposedly to take a bottle of beer from me. I dont know why, because I I was drinking it. I just like going to karamba and I wouldnt want to have to see this security again without knowing what repressions he may have against me.

Terrible attention at the entrance.... my first and last time...Since I was there for the checkup they do on the men, I wanted to come... those who were at the entrance of one discriminate by putting those with passports aside and letting those with an American license enter... and you know The worst thing is that it is a club that many Latinos go to...Once I was at the entrance I decided to come with my friends, the security guys are arrogant... I would never try to go to that club again.

Personally, I love karamba, an excellent place to enjoy and meet people from different countries, very good music, and what makes karamba stand out from other clubs is its transparency and friendliness, both in the waiter and bar service, and super protected by security. They do their job very well and are always looking forward to the end to go. Keep it up karamba 100% recommended

Well, a good place, only that they play a lot of Reggaeton and I like it but it should be more crossover. I think Im a better DJ when I lower the volume on my Alexa... It lacks the ability to mix well or better... The atmosphere is great... I didnt like it at all at the Colombian party having the food exposed without any cover is something unhygienic. But I recommend the site. It was difficult for me to find parking.

Fun place the unique Latin Music in the Salt Lake City area, but time changes and it has been seen in a place where sometimes there is a fight in the parking lot especially when there was the game between Mexico vs Argentina then there was a fight

A place of very poor quality, the music is useless, they have a lot of security but they protect people who do wrong, I will never return to that place of such low quality, terrible according to dress code and they let poorly dressed people in, the VIPs are A pig, they need horrible music in a better DJ.

They charged me $20 dollars for entry, each drink of Jack and Coke $12 and I switched to red label and they charged me the same....and every time I went to buy the bartender asked me for the tip......bad experience

My wife and I were about to stop going to Karamba for the reason that they didnt play good music, it was terrible and the DJ didnt match the music, but last Saturday we had a great time, I think they changed the previous DJ, congratulations, it was good and recommended !!!
