Nathans Beach Club

Attended this local bar and to my surprise the staff is extremely genuine and they cater to your needs as a guest… The music is lively the drinks are mixed well and overall the friends who I brought to check out this scene really loved it… A+ … Dashasweetwaters show is worth attending!!

In general terms its a nice place to hang out. Nice music, nice and cheap drinks (happy hour Fridays), and good ambience. Didnt catch the drags show since I arrived after 1 a.m Seems a place to meet someone out the loudness. The place really needs a disco floor adaptation to lure ppl into dancing since there were no one doing it. Its just a flat floor and everybody just stand up with a drink in their hands.

Even on a Monday, Normans, errr I mean NATHANS, is a great local watering hole for people who just wanna drink and have a good time without the intensity that Twist and/or The Palace requires. If you luck out with a phenomenal bartender (Lucas or Richard) youre in amazing hands, but even the non-amazing ones (truth be told, I didnt go to them) are good! And the owner Nathan, is one of the most congenial and knowledgeable owners of a gay bar Ive ever met. This is a place to visit in South Beach!

Great place for pre-game! They played different music every night! Drinks are good price + size!

The prices of the drinks were significantly higher than what I expected, and to make matters worse, they automatically added an 18% service fee to my bill. It struck me as odd, especially considering this fee was mentioned as being applicable to parties of 0 or more people. This policy seemed unnecessary for a bar that primarily serves mixers and not fancy cocktails, and it left me feeling like I was paying more than I should have.Moreover, the quality of service provided by the bartenders was subpar. I encountered several instances where their attentiveness and professionalism were lacking. Its disheartening to see the decline in the service that was once welcoming. The atmosphere of the venue has also changed for the worse; what used to be a vibrant space now feels like an empty room with only a few available seats.I hope the management takes note of these concerns and makes the necessary improvements. As a patron, I believe its important for a bar to provide good value for the prices they charge and to maintain a high level of service. Unfortunately, my recent visit fell short of these expectations

Great place. We arrived around 9. It wasnt super busy but a great vibe. Staff was really friendly.

By the way… the security guard won’t let you in if you have hiccups. Good luck surviving South Beach with Twist across the way.

As a Miami Beach local, I highly recommend Nathans Beach Club! It’s an exceptional bar that offers an unforgettable experience for everyone. It’s the destination to kickstart your evening. I love going on Tuesdays for karaoke! During the weekend especially, this place is packed. The cherry on top is that Nathans Beach Club is just one block away from another gay venue. Music is awesome too!

Less Attitude, be more profesional and social skill from stuff. The drag show should be more refine.

Went out to south beach was worried about this place I be alone and not welcomed….. best place best people best drink best best bartenders ….. go see Juan amazing bartender with the best mixology drinks…. And just made my night amazing! Thank you crew for a great time ! 🫶

Even for South Beach this club is too small and the crowd is kind of older and the drinks are way expensive I guess theyre just trying their best but if you really want a great experience just head up to Fort Lauderdale to Wilton Manors itll be worth the drive cheaper drinks and better places to go

I recently visited this establishment during my holiday to Miami Beach. My first night here my bank blocked my bank card for suspicious activity due to my traveling (from South Africa) so I couldnt pay my bill. The kind Manager (lovely blue eyes) allowed me to return the next evening to settle my account. Thank you for this, MUCH appreciated. Would highly recommend this establishment ❤️

Great energy, great space, great crowd, great drag show. Jerrid the bartender took care of us all night and was delightful.

I typically have had very positive experiences at Nathan’s but tonight I visited, had great banter with a bartender (Jose) who offered me a drink and assured me it was free. (He used the word free.) I was also offered a cocktail from a fellow patron which I think upset him. At the end of the night he charged me for his cocktail which he originally offered me. I don’t need a free drink but if you offer me one, stick to that. Such BS.

Nice warm up bar in south beach . Bartenders are friendly . Staff that’s responsible for cleaning are also nice . Bouncer at front door can be mean and rude for literally no reason . He gave a disdain look and made a rude comment about my appearance last night out the blue . I guess he was having a bad night and wanted me to have bad one too

Ive been getting drinks from Nathan at Twist since I can remember. I was excited to find he opened his own place. Three of us went in on a Saturday evening (while the curfew was on for the spring break crowd) and it was busy. There was a fun drag queen. Nathan greeted us at the bar and took our order, made our drinks, literally MCd the bar with a microphone, and answered servers questions from behind all at the same time! Bathrooms were clean and new. Great venue. Drinks were strong. Check it out!

So fun to stumble upon this place. Got to meet some drag queens and the staff was super friendly. Definitely will be back.

Surreal place. At 8pm on Friday, staff outnumbered customers 5:1. By 10pm on Friday, it was about 1 staff member for 2 customers. Staff tend to hide behind bar, socialise with friends, look bored (often) or any other activities that avoid interacting with customers. There was one exception who was constantly checking if customers needed anything. Rockstar! Nice play list, pretty pricey drinks, comfy seating.

SUPPORT this business! A very unique LGBT destination to start off your night out! HEAVY pours, a standard but not too impressive beer list, but all nestled into a spacious, eclectic space with themed sitting areas. Nathan, the owner, was walking around greeting people and was very kind! Im not usually one to linger for too long at bars, but we stayed at this one for 3 hours! LOTs of eye candy here for the gay men reading this!

Nathans bar is filled with a lot of little boys who seem entitled. Click after click.If your underweight and under 25 you will have a good tim. The positive was the man in the pink wig and our waiter outside. He can carry a great conversation like a man. No matter what age. I cant wait for age to hit the twins at the bar to realize people no matter what age are all cool.

As I walk into this bar.. you get the picture booth intro which is so cute. The bar... the tables besides it, show privacy and game... the entrance is not telling you whats coming a retro gay friendly chic miami bar... try to go to the bathroom... cartoons all around... I sat in a room with a pink panther picture.. the cocktail servers were just amazing. This is a gay bar experience for 2020. A new era is here.. what a great fun place to get together with people. Loved it...

Very friendly gay bar near Miami Beach. Staff were open and engaging from moment we walked in. Gave us dinner recommendations and made time to talk about the gay scene in Miami. Gets busy around 10pm but there were people coming in from about 7.30pm. Definitely recommend the tequila…take it Mexican style tho 😜

I’m traveling in from Chicago, extremely excited to explore Miami and I called this location to simply ask about dress code and service expectations and whoever was working on 3/12/2021 from 9pm-10pm EST was the most disrespectful customer service representative I’ve ever dealt with, especially coming from a bartender in Chicago. They completely lacked the communicative ability to listed to my needs as a customer, or even to listen to my question. I called back multiple times, even from a friends phone number and they continued to hang up without listening to our (the customers) needs. Poor service. I would never recommend this business to anybody if there is zero genuine customer service on the front end. The entire point is to welcome everyone! Regardless of whether or not you’re willing to listen to this persons question. At this point, multiple of customers could’ve of called from different phone numbers like I did and could’ve received the same exact awful service like I did. 1/10. Do better.

So, I’m a bit confused? This bar was open all month just fine, in fact open all this week just fine..... but closed 28-30 May (according to their Facebook)... which is Memorial Day Weekend (aka “Urban” Beach Week, aka Black Beach Week) for updates to sounds and light???? A BAR wants to close on a holiday weekend for updates that have functioned just fine through a pandemic and the weekday struggle? Interesting!!!!! I’d love to know more about this decision making ??????? Management????

Was turned away immediately at the door. Me assuming oh ok max capacity because of Covid, not the case, Was “too drunk” in fact all 5 of us were “too drunk” to enter. Requested to speak to a manager to resolve the issue because none of use were stumbling over ourselves, was told none were on site. We left went to twist. Had to go back by to get to my car, door man and security legs kidded up on the front patio. will never go back horrible first experience and didn’t even experience it.

Surly security at the door, tired, lacks atmosphere as its just a large, empty room with just a handful of seats/tables down one side of the long room. You could be anywhere in the world... Id go elsewhere and hope for a friendlier welcome!

I asked one question about the cocktails at this specific place.... the last place I chose to visit in Sobe instead of telling me whether they had a certain type of liquor they hung up and did not answer my question.... I’m fine with a tequila oj fr fr but instead a hang up? Over wine ? At a bar? I’m sorry that taboo for you hunty but your lifestyle is confused if you thought you should hang up on any type of client poor or rich. Very disappointed especially for a minority area in such a conservative state. Sad sad will not venture to SoBe again

The bar has moved location and address has not been updated anywhere. After getting dropped off I spent half an hour searching wondering if it still existsd and stumbled across it.

Its a place I always come to and the truth is I love it, but for the second time we had a problem with a boy who apparently is new and has very bad shape, he works at the door and wears glasses, he has a terrible attitude with customers , and he also said that it was his job and he told us to go to another bar if he didnt like the attitude he had towards us...his name is Patricio and I dont think he should work in this place.

Hello, I think this place is super nice and fun where you spend every night incredible, but unfortunately they have put a big-headed dwarf named Patricio at the door who creates a line outside with the bar empty inside and with a rather unpleasant attitude, My advice Like many, they should remove it from that place because it is creating conflicts for visitors and even workers and that means the bar is not visited...
