I stayed with my family in one of the three-bedroom villas and we were all very pleased with our experience! First of all, I did not expect it to be as spacious as it was. On the first floor there’s a nice open kitchen and living room with ample counter space and some cooking supplies, a TV, a spacious balcony, and a futon that sleeps 2. Upstairs there was a master bedroom with a spacious bathroom, a balcony, and tons of closet space, and two more bedrooms - one with 2 large beds and one with 1 bed, each with its own bathroom. The 2 bed room also had a balcony. In other words, you could comfortably sleep 10 people in this place if needed! We arrived to a spotless, comfortable home away from home, with the added benefits of safety and security, friendly staff, a beautiful pool area, a fitness center, a spa, and a nice restaurant. The location is great and near lots of shopping and restaurant options, only 15 minutes from the Miami airport. Also, the air conditioning was a saving grace, the showers were comfortable with nice hot water, the neighbors were quiet, and the beds and pillows were comfy (I’m picky about that!). I’ll definitely be back!
Love how close this location is to the airport. Feels like it’s in the center of everything and no Uber would surpass $20.Rooms are spacious, clean, surplus of soaps lotions and shower supplies. Clean, comfortable beds with down pillows. A strong and mighty air conditioning that carried us our entire week stay. And whenever we would adjust it even a couple notches warmer or colder it would adjust very quickly. It was honestly an amazing and satisfying stay. We needed a repair on the washing machine and it was fixed same day which was great, with kind staff. The bed was so good I somehow didn’t have a hangover after partying the way I did. I just got a really good nights rest, and it wasn’t even the master bedroom. Loved the pool and how it provided towels on site, and the included rooms such as the fitness center. Had a great time overall, thank you!
My partner and I enjoyed our stay last year and decided to visit again just recently. However when looking around our room this time, we found a half smoked blunt on our patio. The receptionist assured us that someone would be up to remove this and no one bothered to come up.This made us doubt that the condo was sufficiently cleaned before our arrival, we were not satisfied at all with the cleanliness of our room.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Providence Doral, specifically in Unit 1413, and it was an outstanding experience. This unit is a two-story gem featuring three spacious and beautifully appointed rooms, making it an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay. The layout of the unit is thoughtfully designed, providing ample space for relaxation and socializing. The two stories allow for a wonderful separation of living and sleeping areas, which is great for those who value privacy and quiet. The three rooms are all generously sized, each with its own unique decor and plenty of storage space. The living area is bright and welcoming, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals if you prefer to dine in.One of the highlights of Unit 1413 is the balcony, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the scenery. The location of Hotel Providence Doral is also a major plus. It’s conveniently situated near shopping, dining, and entertainment options, so you’ll never be far from the action. Despite being in a bustling area, the unit itself is a peaceful retreat, providing a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.Overall, I highly recommend Unit 1413 at Hotel Providence Doral. The combination of spacious two-story living, three well-appointed rooms, and a prime location makes it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the area. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip!
We stayed in Miami at Provident Blue at Doral, adjacent to Trump National Doral golf course resort. We were immediately impressed with easy check-in, plentiful parking near our building, and a huge 2100 square-foot, condo style, three bedroom four full bathrooms villa. All bedrooms are located upstairs. There is one pullout couch downstairs if necessary, with extra bedding. The unit we stayed in 1413 can easily accommodate 8 people. It has a kitchen with the fridge, ice maker in the freezer, electric stove, convection oven, coffee maker and electric kettle, all necessary dishes, pans, pots.If you wish to stay longer- you can upgrade to have an access to a washer/dryer. We enjoyed pool, jacuzzi, restaurant in the hotel, mini gym, did not try the spa but heard it is great. Great wi-fi throughout the resort. Showers had a nice water pressure and hot water ( wait for 2-3 min for it).Provident Blue is conveniently located 15 min from Miami airport (MIA). Front desk is very responsive.Great 4 star hotel.
The size of the rooms is very nice and large. However, upon inspection, they are disgustingly dirty the hotel will not clean the room if you ask unless they are able to charge a fee. We went to Walmart and to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves because it was so nasty. There was hair and grime all over the bathroom and all over the frame of the bed. We also flushed the Jets on the tub with bleach. I can tell that this hotel was once a very luxurious place but it has come to disrepair. the TV barely worked. The lamps did not work overall it was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at.My husband said the pool was nice. And when I called to ask for towels, they always bought extra to me so that was nice.
Don’t waste the money. Service and roomswere not worth the money paid. Undisclosed to me until after check in, there is no room service without an extra fee. Maintenance walked into my apartment UNANNOUNCED and without hesitation, then claimed he didn’t speak English and left out. You have to pay extra for any kind of housekeeping or extra towels. The room I was given clearly wasn’t cleaned recently and needed sweeping and dusting, but I let it go since the extra cost.. Then also asked for paying for parking without any sort of garage. It’s not worth the cost. Just don’t.
Second stay for work trips. First Doral is a lovely area so many restaurants and a Publix all in walking distance. This hotel has the potential to be 4star as advertised but is NOT. It’s a 3 star at best. BUT I’m reviewing based on the location, spaciousness (rooms are huge), comfortable beds, full kitchen and beautiful pool.Downside it’s not being managed well. It’s under staffed, there is no regular housekeeping, and the rooms are rather worn. It’s a shame because it’s a great property with huge potential. Pics of pool and places just 1-2 blocks away to visit.
Before going to this hotel, I highly recommend that you get A Tetanus shot first. When you stay at this hotel if anything goes wrong or if you have any issues, just be aware that nobody cares and nobody will bother to help you. I wasted a large amount of money staying at this hotel, I had paid extra for a specific room that had a king size bed. Upon arrival they downgraded us to a different room with double beds, which was a lesser value, but kept the money that we paid for the higher value room. So me and my partner had to sleep on a Twin size bed. We also found out that all of the furniture must’ve been recently stained because if you touched it all the paint would come off and onto you. Again, we brought it to the front desk attention they really didn’t seem to care and we’re unfazed Buy it. So since nothing was addressed, we had to take a bunch of sheets and cover all of the furniture so that all of our clothing didn’t get ruined. Then evening, my partner went to sit on the bench in our room little did we know there was nails hidden inside the cushion and her whole hand went through it causing puncture and blood again I brought this to the front desk attention. The bench was never removed. We put it outside for safety reasons and they left it there for our entire day. I’m sure that they’ll just put the bench back into the room without dressing. Anything I could say this is one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life I’ve never had such poor Experience as well as Poor customer service to deal with poor qualities of this resort. At the top it all off after everything said and done we then find out all the extra Charges tacked on after you leave and pay. These charges were for cleaning… Which is surprising because I don’t think they’ve ever cleaned this room since this place has opened so I don’t know what they’re charging for. These charges were never explained to me nor were they in any of the emails that I received. They were put out After I had checked out without explanation. So be aware of random charges that the hotel will Tack on without letting you know. They will say that it is in their emails that they sent out but if you actually check your emails they aren’t in any of them so I would just avoid this hotel If you don’t like wasting money
Ask for water bottles got them one night. The bathroom was disgusting and had hair in the shower and the toilet.UPDATE - when we asked for more towels because they did not clean our room, we were given a plastic sack of towels. The cups in the bedroom did not have the little covers to show that they had been cleaned or replaced. Also you charged and kept my security deposit of $100. For what? Nothing was destroyed we kept everything clean - we were barely there. The more and more I think of this the worse it gets. The only good was the front desk guy when we checked in on Thursday. We are coming back from our cruise and well be staying somewhere else.Update Update: Deposit was refunded.
To see this hotel rated as a four star is a complete joke. After receiving no compensation for this stay it is clear what a predatory and poorly managed property this is. I have stayed in better properties visiting a best western or days inn. I came here for a birthday weekend living somewhat local a few hours away. The reviews and pictures are highly deceptive. The front entrance and hotel lobby are the nicest parts of the entire property.Know before booking that they will charge you a third party booking fee for “cleaning” if you do not book through them. This fee is simply added in to the cost even if you were to book directly through them. This brings me to the complete farce and incompetent excuse for management over this establishment. They operate with complete lack of sanitation or cleanliness. The rooms are disgustingly filthy. The floors are covered in dirt and hair. Dust covers every inch of the room from the beds, to nightstands and baseboards. A dead bug was smashed on the wall and left. The carpets are stained and smell like mildew. The bedding was dirty and had stains as well as some sort of dead bugs that resembled bed bugs. All of the fixtures are rusted and falling apart. Half of the room had no lighting with wires hanging out. All of this from a supposed “four star hotel”. It is complete irony they charge a cleaning fee as it is the main ineptitude from this establishment. I have reported you to the Florida health department and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I hope they close you down for all the predatory acts you have taken, charging guests for filth and not rectifying your issues.
We were pretty excited to stay here when we arrived at the property. The tight security was a reassuring touch, and the lobby and restaurant area were impressive. However, our problems began when we were assigned our villa at the back of the property. Upon entering with our key card, we were startled to find sandals, speakers, and other personal belongings scattered around the kitchen and living room, with voices audible from upstairs. Shocked, we quickly left and returned to the front desk, where we encountered a shockingly rude staff member. Instead of an apology, we were met with frustration and blame for his mistake. We pointed out how much worse the situation could have been, imagining the fear of four unknown men walking into an occupied room.Despite the poor service, the villa itself was spacious. It had two floors: the first floor featured a kitchen, living room, and bathroom, while the second floor included a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and jacuzzi, a bedroom with two beds, and another bedroom with a queen bed, all with their own bathrooms and balconies.Be aware that parking spaces fill up quickly, so plan accordingly if youre staying out late. Also, guests often have parties, which we didnt mind, knowing everyone is on vacation.
Very good standard of accommodation with helpful staff. We stayed in a studio which was huge and very well fitted out. Pool area is clean and well kept with plenty of shade. Highly recommended.
I highly highly DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here . The hotel is in a prime location , I’ll give it that. And on the surface level the hotel has so much potential. But the reality of the situation is that place is disgusting. We noticed that there was roaches in the closet our last day there . However , it was our last day and we were like what could we do . Then we noticed they had gotten in our personal belongings ! During our time there we also went to take a sip of wine . Lo and behold a dirty glass . The last day we also we went to strip down our bed sheets . A huge stain on the mattress cover ! The shower was terribly grouted . I could’ve done a better job with one eye closed . The tv remote also didn’t work properly . After calling the front desk on Sunday July 28 and asking for a new one they never came . Finally the next day we called again and they brought over the remote control but forgot the towels we requested . Over all I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t do it again.
The rooms are big. But the property is completely dirty. I had blood stains on my pillow cases. The sofa was completely soiled. The room smelled like cigarettes. The patio was disgusting.
I stayed here for four nights from Monday to Friday for a work trip. My room was very clean and spacious. I had two queen beds and a full kitchen with a full-size fridge with ice and water dispenser, and freezer, a dishwasher, and pots, plans, plates, silverware, etc. My bathroom included a spacious shower and a separate bathtub with jacuzzi! The hotel’s buffet breakfast was pretty typical but nice and included bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, assorted fruits, yogurts, coffee, juices, etc. There’s a really nice shopping area right across the street from the hotel with some really nice restaurants. Highly recommend Pisco y Nazca Peruvian restaurant. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I’ll give a special shoutout to Oby, the gentleman at the front desk, for helping me with a couple of things throughout my stay. He was awesome!
I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There were roaches in the kitchen, ants visibly crawling on the bed in one of the rooms, the furniture was old and the room hadn’t been cleaned. My daughter & I both had bed bug bites all over our legs but I didn’t know it right away because I’d never experienced bed bugs. The carpet & floors were very dirty. We arrived on Tuesday 6/11/24 after our flight was delayed 4 different times due severe weather so we were exhausted and went to bed as soon as we arrived. The next morning I noticed that the room needed to be cleaned so to limit my own frustration, I went out and purchased cleaning supplies & cleaned. Being that we were on vacation, we spent the majority of our days away from the room but found roaches & ants crawling when we got back. I did contact the front desk and they offered to switch our room but we were afraid of going from bad to worse so we stayed and tried to address pest control issues ourselves. I can’t believe businesses take advantage of customers this way. The only positive is that the rooms are spacious and each bedroom had its own bathroom in addition to an extra bathroom on the 1st floor.
Booked for my wedding & I was very unsatisfied. Upon entering the room, the foyer was dirty. The hallway & master bath floors were dirty with debris. Ice maker does work, and all the closet doors were locked with the exception of the closet with a pull-down handle in the bedroom. The iron is a piece of crap!! It took nearly 20 minutes for the water in the guest bathroom shower to get hot. The stopper in one of the sinks inside of the master bedroom was stuck, so we couldnt use it. There was hair in the master bedrooms shower, as well as the corner near the toilet. We found a balloon in the curtains leading out to the balcony. Basically, we had to clean the room ourselves. We booked for the weekend, no new towels were offered & only 2 wash clothes were in the master bathroom. Beautiful location, but the comfort has diminished as this is my 4th time visiting. Im not sure Ill be returning. The room size is the best part, I did not use the jaccuzi bcuz the water drained slowly. It was pretty much a disaster, but hey, lesson learned.
My family stayed here for 8 days. When we first entered the floors were dirty and everything was dusty(the air vents are open so i guess thats why) some doors are locked and they have the laundy locked(you have to pay 50 dollars for cleaning or washing clothes). The reason why the rooms are dirty is because no one wants to pay 50 dollars to clean the room! But on a good note, everything was spacious and really close to the Miami Dade Mall.By the way, hotels always say theyre gonna make changes but they NEVER do so please keep in mind that reviews are IMPORTANT!
My stay at the Provident Hotel Doral was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a musty smell that permeated the entire hotel. The rooms were filthy, with visible dirt and grime that made me question the hotels sanitation standards. To make matters worse, I was blindsided by a slew of inconvenient fees that were never mentioned when I booked. These hidden charges felt like a blatant money grab and added insult to injury given the already terrible conditions.Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel. The Provident Hotel Doral is a disgrace—dirty, smelly, and deceptive with their pricing. There are plenty of better options in the area that wont leave you feeling cheated and disgusted.
This place is officially falling apart. The air conditioning didn’t work, the toilet wouldn’t flush, the humidity in the room is so bad that mold is growing on the ceiling. The list of horrible things can go on. To make things worse, the hotel charges $17 per night and per car to park. Nowhere in the main page can you find this…it is literally hidden three pages into making the reservation and only if you happen to expand the “read more here” link.Once a great place to stay but now to par with a Motel 8. Save your money and prevent a horrible night sleep with broken “amenities” by staying somewhere else.Never again!!
The absolute worst hotel I have everrr been at . THEY HAVE BED BUGS!! Don’t be fooled by the spacious room like we did. We stayed for one night and I’m glad it was only one night because my boyfriend and I woke up the next day with bed bug bites !!! I have pictures to prove it! Also once you check out they take from your deposit undisclosed fees like a cleaning fee of 30$ for no reason because we left that room impecable , charges us double state sales tax plus a “county room tax” their has to be some type of investigation on this hotel! I will be reporting this to Florida health department and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service! I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could. They should be ashamed of themselves
Room was big and decent. 2 of the tvs didnt work. Found plastic dirty knives above/behind the couch. And didnt really seem like anyone cleaned the room before us(dead bug in fridge, curtains stained, jet tub dirty, some of the shampoo/conditioner/bodywash was basically empty). It was a good quick last minute option but never again unless they clean the room again right when I get there. Close to everything so that was a plus.
Drab & filthy don’t adequately describe this hotel. There are stains on the walls, dust on the base boards, stains on the coach and general dirt everywhere. They charge for housekeeping, which is abomination. This place has the potential to be nice but it is clearly neglected.I don’t recommend this place for anyone.
Room had musty smelled as soon as we walked in. Tv did not work only 2 chanmels and not smart tv.Bath nasty mildew.Nasty carpet i found hair acceapries that didnt belonf to me.Stain bed covers on the side visible.Pool bar area dont work.No.personnal available to order from restaurant u have to hunt them down.Poor managent and ownership. I wont visit again.
THIS GONE BE LONG BUT IF U VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND MONEY PLEASE READ OR ATLEAST WATCH VIDEO.1ST OFF THIS HOTEL WILL STEAL YOUR CARD INFO 6 MONTHS LATER I AM STILL FIGHTING WITH THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT AT MY BANK TO GET THE MONEY BACK. I came to Miami with my girlfriend for her surgery and picked this hotel because thr pics look like it is WAY better then anything around. When I checked in I thought so also booked the hotel for 5 days and checked out after the 1st day. The hotel charged me for my complete 5 day stay and also check a 2nd room under my card. They ran my card for my stay and another persons room that I never stayed in. This hotel is not clean at all they only clean the room every 3 days and will not clean any sooner even if u request it. Very unsanitary for anyone let alone someone who has surgery and open wounds. Our feet was BLACK from walking around the carpet.... we had some towels that was dirty or used and when we requested more towels around 6pm they didnt come until the next morning. The shower had mold on the shower head and stong hard water stains. There was ants all thru the kitchen coming from cracks in the wall.... again this hotel looks great but u will get sick and your money stolen if u book with this hotel.... PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES AND VIDEO AND DONT BOOK HERE.
Amazing place to stay, rooms are very spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The place requires a renovation, though, as some stuff does not work properly and everything seems to be quite dated at this point. Location is amazing with plenty of shops and restaurants around within walking distance and airport just 20 minutes away
Im so glad we picked this place for our last days in Miami. The rooms are super comfy, spacious, and clean. The staff is awesome and really friendly. Its been a great experience - totally recommend it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
While the hotels location was convenient for our meetings and golf course, unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. The presence of bugs, dim lighting, unpleasant odors, and cold shower made for a less-than-ideal stay.
Rooms are big and have a complete kitchen included. If you have the door open to the veranda you unfortunately hear every 2 min a plane. Same at the pool. Location is far from miami beach. However there is a own nice street in Doral - therefore the hotel is located good.
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. As soon as I walked in the room the smell of smoke hit me in the face, I could barely sleep because the smell was just so terrible. Everything in the room was dirty and dusty so it was a clear sign that the room was not even thoroughly cleaned. Last but not least, the bathroom was so GROSS, there was mold growing inside of the shower. Worst experience ever and will never stay here again.
I booked this at the very last minute, the room is nice but location is terrible, nothing wrong. Poor front desk service, I asked in Spanish and English for a wake up call at 6am and my ready, nothing was done. I wasn’t driving so I need help with my luggage since the front desk building if 600 feet from my room, no one showed up. At the end, they asked me to call an Uber and wait for my bill by email. It seems the employees, although they speak Spanish, they can’t understand basic instructions. I ordered room service from the restaurant, something as simple as a burger was terrible, overcooked and dry.
The property is well maintained and safe. I have stayed on two different nights before and after a transatlantic flight. I checked in around 10pm on both occasions. Checkin was fast and friendly. Security regularly patrolled the property in golf carts and they did check each vehicle for a parking pass on the dash. Property is gated with a ten foot metal fence on its perimeter and has a 24/7 gated entry with an actual guard. You will feel safe. Doral is a fairly safe Miami suburb as well. My one bedroom condo hotel room was enormous with a humongous bathroom with separate bath tub and shower. Also a full kitchen, extremely comfortable kingsize bed, living room and dining room areas. Large balcony with two chairs and a ceiling fan. Tons of closet space. Large screen tv. Awesome place for a one to two weeklong vacation. Overkill for my one night stay. Great location in Doral. West of the MIA. Very easy to get any where in Miami-Dade county. Numerous medium to high quality restaurants nearby and big chain shops a little further. A 24/7 Wawa a few minutes south. Great value. I did’t get to see or use the pool area.
Exceeded expectations from check-in to check-out.*When we registered, William was exceptional in meeting our expectations for a 2nd floor room & building for our stay*We spent an evening at the Chop House and Rene was extremely customer friendly -- very engaging, quick to follow-up and highlight some of the menu items. We were pleased with the choices and the food was delicious.*When we signed out, Renny let us know that he looked forward to seeing us again.*We always mention Jaime in our surveys--he is always welcoming and eager to ask if we needed anything during our stay--we consider him to be a valuable member of your team!Thank you!
The rooms are big and the grounds seem nice and safe. Was only there for one night to sleep. The location was nice if you dont have a car as its walking distance to several restaurants and a Publix. The room could use a bit of a refresh as there were some signs of wear. In all, not too bad if paying $160 a night or less.
The rooms were nice and location was amazing. How ever I stayed at this hotel-Airbnb for my wedding to find out I had two charges on my credit card. Not only did they charge me the declined transaction which made it worse. I have been calling since May for the manager to fix it and he never called back well one time he did and said he would look into it. As well as a email from stating he was fixed from the account team. Every time I call he is either busy or not in and never calls back. I have even emailed the hotel so many times. So annoying and still disputing this. Worst customer serves only good thing the rooms and staff at front desk. Never had this much trouble with my credit card.
Rooms are large and neither super modern or out of date. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. Was a pleasant stay for two nights.
T his is NOT a 4 star hotel, 2 maybe. I understand the green concept and that we all have to contribute to the planet but, one thing is to reuse the towels and sheets, another thing is to not clean the bathrooms and rooms. I stayed for 2 nights, they didn’t do my room once (neither they informed me at checkin) I had a bug in my room on day 2. Being Miami a tropical place they should clean the rooms every day to avoid this. My room had the coffee machine full of old coffee probably made by previous guests. They don’t provide you with water in the room to drink neither a dispenser to get water from, so arriving for business at 11pm I had to order Uber eats from 711 for just water, I called reception and asked for water they said they don’t provide. It was 41 degrees F (5 degrees Celsius the night I arrived to Miami, room was kept at 60 degrees F and although I put the thermostat to 82, heat didn’t work and I spent the coldest night. Reception is in a building at the entrance while I was placed at building 14, so I needed a golf cart every time I needed to move. I don’t know, maybe families that want to stay in Doral for vacation might enjoy this (its not a room but like a mini apartment, the 2 stars Caribbean resort type), definitely NOT a 4 stars hotel that charge a fortune for the poor service they provide and definitely NOT good for business trips.
Such a huge disappointment! Please don’t be fooled by the nice huge palm trees or the nice buildings this place is a complete waste of money. DON’T STAY HERE!!! After driving 16 hrs and paying for the booking of two beds they gave us one bed. PayPal will not back you up regardless of receipts and pictures. We stayed here for a few days and each day we had to beg someone to clean only to find out when checking out they charge an extra $30 for cleaning services. The water was scalding hot and loud strange pipe noises. There were also strange bugs in the room. This is what happens when you don’t use trusted chains and give others a chance. It took hours just to get fresh towels and wash cloths. Save yourself from a headache and wasting your money do not rest your head here.
A great find for any family or couple wanting a hotel complex with wonderful large rooms and in a gated area. Located right across from a fantastic modern street filled with top notch restaurants, bars, coffee shops and regular shops. If you dont want to stay right in Miami but not too far away this location is great.
This was an unexpectedly beautiful room. Smelled amazing upon entry, spacious modern and more than sufficient for a weekend getaway.
Air conditioning was broken first night so don’t stay on the second floor. Also one of the guys who drives the golf cart is very rude. I would not stay again at this hotel. The room was big but very dated and showed it’s age. The hot water took at least 5 minutes to get hot and this was in August. A friend was bitten by a bug while swimming and had to go to the emergency room. Overall a bad experience.
Had a bad bad experience.1st came in the assigned room, and 2 roaches found. One was on the bed and lost sight of it. The other one ran and went under the bed. They gave me another room, which the shower just has hot water. Was dirty, smell like humidity and the furniture its completely damaged...I can believe how bad its this place.Requested 2 times for housekeeping and never came, so im deciding to leave days before my checkout date. I was planning to stay more day here, but it definitely wont and wont come back again ever.I dont recommend this place to anybody.Almost forgot ac appear to be turned off remotely or something. We felt hot while sleeping
The location is perfect for Doral- right across from downtown Doral and the restaurants and park. Room was ok. It’s a large room and was relatively clean. We went to the pool every day of our stay (4nights) and were only able to get towels once. Had to constantly ask staff to bring towels. Not sure what the deal is with not putting out towels but it’s annoying when you want to enjoy the pool and you have nothing to dry off with. We aren’t picky people but this one little thing was irritating enough that we might not stay here again when visiting family in Doral.
The provident was very peaceful, clean and a nice place to vacay with friends to relax and enjoy each others time! Will definitely stay again
The location was a 20 out of 10! Rooms and service top notch!
This is one amazing hotel. The staff the food everything was everything I ever wanted. The 24hr gym is phenomenal. I went and got a massage for the first time ever and it was perfect. Everyone was very friendly. If I come back to the city I definitely would stay here again. It is extremely clean. Thank you for the stay.
Hello everybody,Normally we do not write any bad reviews about hotels we stay in, but this time we decided to do so, as we want you guys to do not make the same mistake we did and be more cautious where you leave your personal stuff.Firstly we had a nice one week stay at Provident Doral at the Blue Miami, it is a fine 4* resort. We checked out in the morning on 28 of July 2023 and had long trip back home to Europe ahead of us, after arrival to our home next morning we noticed during unpacking that we must have forgotten some expensive clothing in the drawer! We directly called the front desk and asked them to check for us with the housekeeping as we knew for sure the clothing was left there. They told us they will do so and inform us by email as soon as they will learn more.No one ever proactively emailed us with any news, so we kept calling. Every time the same story that they have to check with the housekeeping.I asked them once again to double check the room and give us the info asap.Today, second day after our arrival again I had to call once again and they told me no one found anything. We are sorry to say, but the clothing must have been stolen by one of the housekeepers during the cleaning after we checked out. It was expensive clothes otherwise we wouldn’t do the effort.Sure, our mistake we forgot the clothes in the hotel. BUT I WOULD EXPECT THAT IN 4* RESORT THEY MAKE SURE IT IS FOUND, REPORTED AND HANDED OVER TO FRONT DESK OR OTHER DEPARTMENT THAT HANDLES SUCH THINGS IN CASE SOMEONE IS GOING TO BE LOOKING FOR IT.We were willing to pay the shipping costs to Europe as we of course also said that to the employees of the resort.WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WHOLE SITUATION AND ASSISTANCE OF THE FRONT DESK AS THEY WERE NOT VERY HELPFUL IN THIS MATTER!!!!Please be careful as your stuff can be taken/stolen from this resort!!
Where do I start? Ok, me and my best friend booked this hotel( motel) for my 31st birthday. Tiktok literally had us feeling like we were staying somewhere VERY nice..and it wasn’t. For starters, when we first entered our Suite, we noticed our CLEAN TOWELS WERE SAT ON A MALES DIRTY BOXERS! So them saying that their rooms are throughly clean, is not true. We called to have room service come re clean our room because of our finding , and was advised that we couldn’t because we were only staying for three days…but could bring us new towels and wash cloths. THATS A HEALTH ISSUE. First thing to piss me off. The rooms are nice, but they can be renovated IMO. Yes they are spacious, but there was rust around certain things in the room, and to be honest it just didn’t look CLEAN. Ok..Saturday we decided to get cute, try and go take pics by the pool….and the damn pool was CLOSED. Now, correct me if I’m wrong…but MOST places let patrons know if/when the pools will be closed for certain events etc…NOTHING WAS SAID, until we went to ask the front desk that day trying to enter. So, now I’m not even able to access the amenities. To add: that pool looks WAYY BETTER ONLINE. Those drone shots did the job, because in person……doesn’t even look the same. There was trash bags left by rooms when there was a dumpster feet away. No one spoke English, if they did it was slim to none. Just never again . Save your money and choose elsewhere to stay cause this was NOT IT.
When my friend and I arrived from the appearance I thought it to be a beautiful place of quality. We got to our room and there was no overhead lighting in the bedroom, the telephone(s) did not work and neither did the television work during our entire stay. We were advised that there was an outage but the television in the breakfast area functioned just fine. When I asked, how did the television work in that area they promptly shut it off. There was a serious bug issue in the room, bugs were crawling all over the night table which housed the only lighting in the room, a lamp. We didnt sleep well once discovering this issue as we were afraid of transporting the bugs in our luggage and on our person; our hair and the like. Front desk was not helpful at all when calling from our personal phones to the front desk it was to no avail of no assistance. Weve requested an itemized receipt and have yet to receive one. We were advised there was no manager on duty that he was away on vacation. Without any request and/or notice two guys showed up while we were in the room relaxing and one had bug spray and the other had a phone in hand. The entire experience was a disaster. I would never return...Kindness goes along way of which they had none. I am beginning to think that we were targeted against for whatever reason that may be but I would not give this place any stars. The only person I can truly say that served us well was the gentleman that prepared our breakfast. Everyone else needs a reality check as to what it means to be in customer service business.
Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE. We prepaid for 3 nights. Checked in super late on the first night and went straight to bed. When we woke up in the morning, we discovered the room was pretty gross. The wood furniture was busted up, the leather furniture was visibly dirty, but the cherry on top was the all the mildew and rust in the shower (see photos). We went down to the front desk that day and showed them pics. They were apologetic but said they had no other rooms available to switch us to so they offered to refund us for the rest of our stay (2 nights), which we accepted. At this time, I asked for a final invoice and they said they didn’t have it but it would be emailed to me the next day. When I received an email the next day with the invoice, I realized they had only refunded me for 1 night instead of 2. I called the hotel, they apologized and gave me an email address to reach out to in order to resolve the billing issue (told me it would be a quick turn around time). After almost a week of no response I followed up on my email again, nothing. I called the hotel again and they said I didn’t have the correct email address so they gave me a new one. I emailed that address, again no response. Over a 2 month period I regularly called the hotel to resolve the charge and apparently the manager was never onsite and available to help with the issue. He was also supposed to call me. Never did. It’s been months and they never reached out to me or refunded me the money they owe me for the 2nd night I never stayed. I held off from posting this review and photos in order to give the hotel a chance to redeem itself by refunding me but after all the run arounds and incorrect email addresses, I am convinced the hotel is very aware of what they are doing. So please save your self the headache and disgust of staying here.
Horrible stay. We booked for two nights and could only stay one due to dogs barking and frog noises all night long. The pool area was decent until one of the workers was basically harassing us for having some chips for our toddler to have since their menu is not kid friendly. We asked to speak to a manager upon checkout and was ignored. Said too busy on another call. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Btw room was never cleaned while we were out at the pool. Poor customer service and embarrassing establishment. Obviously they dont care about their customers and only want you to purchase their food which people away from us did and we could smell their fish sandwich in our faces so not too fresh I suppose.
Everything about this room was well worth it. Had a nice balcony. Rooms are massive. Check in was a breeze a golf cart ride to your room if you don’t have a car. Pool is amazing. People are friendly. I had a tv in the bathroom and a jacuzzi tub. Very impressed and I will definitely be back when I come to Miami.
Really enjoyed staying here. The villa has everything you need and the pool is excellent. A variety of restaurants are within a two minute walking distance and the airport is a 15 min car journey away. We stayed February so very quiet at the poolside. I would recommend a stay at this hotel. I didn’t give 5 stars as the front of house were not very helpful.
My family and I stayed in the 3 bed/3 bath villa. It’s a gated property. The rooms were clean and spacious! The master bedroom is huge!!! The pool area is nice also. The villa was two story which I didn’t know before hand. Staff were great and attentive to any need we had. The only thing that could improve is I think they should have more towels and wash cloths in the room however, all we had to do was request them from the front desk and someone delivered them in a matter of minutes! Over all a great place and we will definitely be returning!!
Price-wise, this property was typical for a 3-3.5* in Miami. The location was excellent, downtown Doral, in a lovely, walkable area. Since its downtown, there are lots of restaurants and some shopping. We went out on a Sunday night, and the restaurant where we had reservations, was packed. The amenities are nice and the property is secure with a barrier gate. We got there a bit earlier and they accommodated us in our room. We then jumped in the pool where there were barely any people. It was a perfect day. Our daughter couldnt get enough of it. They provide nice chez lounges and towels. At the end of the day, we walked across the street to a really lovely Tapas restaurant. All in all, even though it was a one-night stay, it was a great stay to be repeated.
In general its an Okay hotel. Better watch out with the extra charges they dont explain. They ask you to put down an extra $100 that they will retain from your card in case anything goes wrong with room after returning the key, but turns out they charge you for cleaning the room $30 and then you have to pay for the parking, which shouldve all be included in the total price for the room. Pretty dishonest and sketchy way of treating guests. Make sure you ask exaclty what is it you are paying to avoid unpleasant surprises and unexpected hidden charges.
Stayed here 3 nights and while the room was very nice and spacious, it has a cockroach problem. There was stains on the toilet seat that I had to clean with a disinfectant wipe. There was hair on the bed sheets and what appeared to be makeup stains when we undid the bed (thankfully I brought my own sheets and pillowcase) not sure I would recommend this place to a friend or anyone in general when it comes to cleanliness. The location however is great is close to many restaurants and bars.
From September 15-17th. The staff here at this location is prejudice against black people. While at the pool we were told we had to leave because there were complaints (plural against us.) when asking what complaints the lady could not tell us about the complaint she was actually telling us about at the time. We were at the pool area about 2hrs and that whole time the staff would come to the gate and just stare that us. They acted as if they were working but wasn’t doing anything. When our guest arrived on 09-16-2023 Security gave them a hard time to even get in the gate as guess if though they had already been told they weren’t there to stay over night. On the day at the pool the female staff member who claims there were complaints made against us would not answer as to what were the so call complaints about. The female staff member also said if there was one more complaint we would have to leave all together but wouldn’t tell us what the complaints were about . She kept yelling that security was talking in her ear and that we had to leave the pool area. We felt harassed being that we were black and that they didn’t bother nor say anything to the whites that were there at the pool . We will never stay here again and will be telling friends and family who recommend this place to us do to the space about our experience so they won’t stay here again as well.
The 3 bedroom villas are splendid! Also, Doral is the best. I would definitely return.
Service was not as good as it could have been. The gate was almost Berber closed at night during our stay & we were very concerned about that because you walk up to your room. We didnt feel swimming in the outdoor pool would be safe so we didnt Overall location was great.
I reserved this place for 6 nights over the summer, off of the strength of my husbands experience 8 years ago when it was called The Blue. Apparently this hotel has changed companies/management a couple of times since then and it shows drastically. Based off of his experience this place was absolutely luxurious, back then. And we are very picky about where we stay when traveling. My experience- At first glance, the interior was beautiful and spacious. The space is very accommodating for a family of 4 with 2 bathrooms and bedrooms with a nice sized kitchen and common area.Once you look closely this place is in need of some serious cosmetic work. (reviewers photos are accurate) From the flooring in the kitchen, the bathrooms, the grout work, the scratches and dings on the furniture, etc. This place has so much potential to be the luxurious place it once was 8 or so years ago.The customer service was sufficient. We had to reserve housekeeping 24 hours in advance. Security was professional. The grounds were clean and offered beautiful greenery throughout the property. The night time aesthetics on the property were nice. We didn’t use the pool but it appeared to be nice at a glance. Hopefully management can look into cosmetic work and replace some items and make this place as beautiful as it was at one point in time.
Provident Blue is located next door to Trump Doral with easy access to several golf courses and various entertainment options. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Doral itself is amazing. Great restaurants and ambiance on main street and fun times at City Place.
The rooms are spacious and clean. Some things we did not like restaurants on site is only open Thursday-Sunday, no laundry service at all. You can not check in early to your room earliest is 3pm. The bar was closed. So we had to go into Doral to a restaurant and sit for two hours until our room was ready.Kitchen comes pretty stocked with dishes, cups and plates, coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher. Best way to describe this place is apartment/condo complex. No view out your room accepts for a bunch of tree branches. It is gated and the pool area is pretty, very small hot tub for guests to use. Only allowed house keeping every three days. They will bring extra towels and things if you ask. Not all what we thought it would be false advertising as far as views on the room’s. But if you don’t care about that, then it is okay place to stay. Side note a lot of traffic and construction on the freeway going to Miami Beach so give yourself time to get to activities you’ve planned. We would pay the extra money next time and stay closer to downtown Miami.
Please dont make the same mistake we did. The rooms are in such a bad shape. Everything is dirty. Every balcony as a noice from the AC unit. You can tell not a single penny is going to maintain the place.
Save your money! I would give a 0 if I could. The rooms are extremely dirty. The The too smelled awful. Dirty tissues under the tv unit, hair and crumbs allover kitchen floor. Slow service at front desk and rude. No one speaks English and no towels for the pool. Disgusting. The pool area was ok, again no towels and the bar is never open. This was a short stay for us just one night and we tried to stay at the pool as long as we could. The room makes you feel dirty!!
Let me start by saying things just kept getting worse and worse. Upon arrival we were so excited to see our rooms only to find out there was hair, dirt, mold and bugs in our room. We were horrified and couldn’t believe it but since we got in late we had no choice but to wait until the morning, the guy at the front desk said we needed to speak with a manager. In the morning they were able to move us to a different room and although it wasn’t much of a difference we didn’t see any bugs so we decided to stay. We voiced our concerns upon check out as well and the guy was nice and said he would be able to return some of the money on my card only to charge me the amount he said he would refund, so by this time they charged my card 500$ twice, a charge of 151$ when i first booked, $51 that i was charged when checking out and the new charge that he put on my card when he said it was be discounted not charged. Worst of all i have tried to contact him multiple times after and he refuses to speak with me and makes the other associates pick up instead. VERY VERY horrrrrible service. I would avoid booking overall, the cleanliness alone was disgusting.
Check in was not smooth as they needed a different card to charge room even though room was already paid for. The pictures are misleading. Pool was much smaller and barely anyone was there to help service. Restaurants were closed. Virtually everything was inaccessible. The room was nice although it looked like they hadnt cleaned since it was last used. Hair in the shower, very dusty and the fridge had food stains. If it wasnt for the restaurants in downtown Doral, this wouldve been a bust. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
This resort is excellent! The rooms, the service -- all top notch. Had dinner at the steakhouse at the hotel, and that, too, was fantastic. Would stay here again.
Ants, bugs, everywhere! We first found them on the nightstand, so we moved rooms, then found them everywhere in the kitchen. Now theyre on the sofa. And when we asked to get the sheets changed, because there was a stain, they were very rude about it. The cleaners even left the front door to our room open. The table next to the sofa had grease and dust all over it as well. They do not clean the floors either. Please reconsider staying here.
Front desk was really welcoming and nice but the rooms were very lackluster. They had a no smoking policy everywhere we went there was a heavy smell of cigarette and weed. The best part of the room was the bathroom only because of the jets in the tub. Dishes in the room were filthy and not enough towels were provided. The phone in the hotel didnt work so we had to resort to using our cellphones to contact front desk. Parking was horrible. The patio view was nothing but uncut grass and ugly mushrooms, not the city view their website boasted. The beds were comfortable though.
The location is close to the airport and thats a positive, however, our experience with the actual facility was just okay. The folks at the reception are not very friendly and it took us over an hour for us to get checked in; They also didnt have the villa we had booked and instead had our group split to two different rooms in two different buildings. The rooms are okay; they show their age but if you just want to sleep for a few hours and move on, i guess it works. They have a swimming pool which looked nice (we didnt use it) and a gym thats open after 7 am. Their porter is a nice guy but it takes forever to get a ride on the golf cart to go to your buildings (some can be a good 15 min walk from the reception). They have a breakfast buffet which is pricey and not associated with the hotel, so there is always confusion about payments. The waitress at the breakfast place is wonderful though. Overall, my recommendation is to find another place. Not worth the money
Very nice place, in this opportunity I wasnt staying or showing any of the rental units (Im a realtor and have leased a few units here) so I was using the amenities for a professional event. The staff was very nice and courteous, the place was impeccable clean, the lunch served was delicious and healthy. The parking situation was a little crowded, however, I found a spot pretty fast.I have leased several units for Asian clients in different buildings and they were OK.Overall I had a good experience. ✅
I have bad experience with them ,they charging for parking car, they are also charging for cleaning fee and try to used the tv dont work
I had to stay here for a work trip and I would definitely not choose to stay here again. The positives are that the rooms are very large and include a living space, kitchen, and balcony. Additionally, the king bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh those positives. My shower did not work at all and the separate bathtub only ran cold water. I heard from a few of my colleagues that they also did not have hot water even if their shower worked. The exterior wall is very thin so it sounds like the cars on the busy road out front are driving into your room. The room didn’t feel clean and I stepped on a shard of glass in the kitchen. Check in process was very slow and they would not let me choose which building my room was in because all rooms are “preassigned”. Parking is also very limited. Overall, not a great experience and won’t be back.
I can’t begin to describe the creepy feeling I had the moment I stepped into the lobby to check in. First, the front desk tried to make paper copies of my credit card and my ID without my consent or consulting me first. I stopped him once I realized what he was doing and was then explained I could decline. He did give me back the copy and had me sign a consent. I understand this is old-school standard practice but this is inappropriate modern practice given the major security risk. I was in building 10 on the first floor and as soon as I walked through the door I realize that my room suite was within a shared opening/walk way. The people in the other room next to mine had their door propped open with a hairbrush! When I opened the door to my suite, the whole place was pitch black. It was difficult to find the lighting and it put off a creepy vibe. I could tell this property used to be beautiful but my suite was musky and muggy, the furniture was outdated and felt dirty, there were scuff marks all over every single wall, the floor was chipped, both bathrooms had very creepy old frosted glass doors to the showers AND toilets. The showerhead was leaking water in the bedroom bathroom, The carpet was disgusting, and the baseboards were dirty. I didn’t even open the refrigerator. In the kitchen there was a man’s footprint on the tile floor and that pretty much did it for me. Everything was a bear and Unwelcoming. The TV channels needed updating so I couldn’t watch a single thing in the bedroom. I stayed there one night (of the two I reserved) unable to sleep and fully clothed because it just was eerie. I didn’t cancel the second night because I didn’t want to lose my deposit or be charged extra. I came to town for work and needless to say, I won’t be going back. Oh and My “Golf course view” was obscured by a full-blown tree line. I don’t ever complain because I understand circumstances are different for every business and property. This was beyond what I expected of a property that sits right next to a Trump Resort.
Ill share the good first. Great location, as its steps away from the lovely downtown Doral restaurant scene as well as Publix supermarket & the Blue Monster. We very much appreciated this aspect. Pool was clean. Staff was very friendly at every turn.Negatives: our patio/balcony was either inundated with the smell of weed via neighboring guests, or we had a friendly vagrant cat constantly trying to access our patio/room. Cute, but Im not looking to pick up potential fleas. We gently shooed it on its way.My shin will never be the same, as the frame of the bed extends well beyond the mattress and if youre not actively paying attention, you will enjoy a nice welt and expel curse words a sailor would be proud of. Thankfully the kitchen has an icemaker and I brought ziplock bags for an icedown. I was hoping I could add a photo as a reference/warning, alas Im not that savvy so youll have to take my word for it. Pro tip: turn your shower on 20 minutes before you get in if you want any temp over Buffalo, NY in January. Also, I repaired the toilet float, Ill be submitting my bill at checkout lol.We stayed here to have a 3 day mini vaca before heading off to the Bahamas with friends and family. Its not a terrible place, just not stellar. In summary, it was serviceable and convenient but a bit dated and overpriced.
As soon as we went to the room it smelled like pee outside. Then we stayed for about 30 minutes and saw 4 roaches in there and we left immediately!!! The staff was nice and refunded us.
Would not stay here again. My husband and I loved this place about 7 years ago, but it’s gone downhill after a stay since this time. We just stayed this weekend (June 2022) and would not return again. The location is great and rooms are huge which is a plus, but the cleanliness, clientele, and staff are lacking. They make you sign a ton of paperwork when checking in and have a strict no drugs policy, but we clearly saw people doing drugs on the property. Just didn’t get the best feel when visiting and couldn’t wait to leave. Will be looking elsewhere next time we visit Miami.
The good thing about this place is having a small villa for the family. With three bedrooms. It is quite comfortable but it isn’t very clean and the service isn’t amazing. Room cleaning is not very professional.
This hotel is very nice looking online, the lobby is elegant and the receptionists seem nice at first. Once youre in your room, the room initially is breathtaking. When you look closer, theres dirty linen, showers had hair in them, the carpet is dirty, furniture is dingy and outdated. When we complained, the receptionists were less than accommodating. Mora, in particular, was very short and didnt feel that an accommodation was warranted. It took over 2 months to get something for compensation which ended up being another stay on a different day. But again, problems. The door battery was dead and it took a while for maintenance to fix it. The showers have mildew in the master suite and the other suites. Its just not worth the money. This place should be sold for renovations and changed to single homes for sale. This place fails as a hotel. This will be my FINAL time using this hotel. I wouldnt be surprised if they go out of business soon. Oh yeah, they dont have a corporate office. So how will they ever improve?
THE PARKING IS $17 A DAYThe staff is very rude and unprofessional and even hung up on me twice. The pool is very dirty and they dump a bunch of chlorine because they dont want to clean it so it smells. They will charge you hidden fees and charge your card separately for those fees which I find very very sketchy.Donnntttt stay here.... Just saying. Im not even a Karen... 😂 Just saying the truth.
Hotel was beautiful and very spacious bed rooms but the front desk communication was not professional at all. The bedrooms were dirty with stained rugs and the AC didn’t work inside the bedroom so my 1 year old daughter my husband and I sweated the entire night. Also there was a very weird small door in the bathroom and when opened it was an empty space or so it looked like it. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
Location is good, the size of the apartment is more than generous for a family of 4, kitchen well equipped and there is plenty of room. The bathrooms are nice and big, good water pressure. The comfort of the bed in one room was good but in the other was awful and the cleanliness was not as expected, there is room for improvement. There is parking right in front of the villa, which was good and the location is secure.
Great location right next to Downtown doral. Exquisite location good service and decent rooms I expect a bit more for the prices but nonetheless my stay was pleasant.
Check-in was nice but then…the floors in our room were so dirty the bottom of our feet turned black. Breakfast at the hotel next day was not worth the price since the orange juice had little gnats floating in it and the response was, “just get another cup, it should be fine now.” Toilet broke in the middle of the night, front desk wouldn’t pick up. Next morning, I requested a new room and they argued with me about it. The pots provided in the one room suites, all but one of them had burned rice marks covering the interiors so we couldn’t cook with them. The pool is amazing but this hotel is does not provide the quality of physical space or service I would expect at this price point. Extremely disappointed.
It was our anniversary trip. We arrived at 2:30 and gladly they had room 701 ready for us. Couple minutes after getting in the room we realize the AC is not working properly and the room is not cool enough. Let’s start by saying that getting in contact with the property staff is not easy. Talked to several different people that drag the process to 2 hours and a half sitting in a hot room with no solution but to wait for it to cool down.We heard every excuse, from there’s nothing wrong with the AC, we are fixing it, it’s fixed, we can’t fix it. We ended up being moved to a smaller room with pretty much a communal balcony as you can see all your neighbors 10 rooms down. We had specific reasons to book the room type we did, those are the only rooms with any sort of privacy. The biggest issue in this situation was that is was very poorly handled by the “manager”. The manager (Hassik Waskes) didn’t even have the decency to come out of his office and resolve the issue. He just gave me a dirty look, called the front desk agent into the office and then sent him out to deal with me. He kept making excuses on his behalf, ultimately saying all they could do was give me $10 back for each night for the rate difference. I realized I was wasting my breath with these people as they couldn’t care less about making the situation right. Not everything is bad at the property. The rooms are very spacious, we never had an issue with parking and overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The cons of the property: The cleaning could definitely be better. No staff after 10pm. Poor management. At check out I was able to talk with Isabelle at front desk who apologized for the inconveniences and said I would get $20 back each night and complimentary parking for my stay. She said she could not give me any written proof of such promise, but if I had any issues receiving my refund I should contact booking.com as I did my reservation through them.I have an upcoming reservation that will most likely be cancelled if this issue is not handled properly.Tip for whoever maintains the property: Add some sort of privacy divider between balconies so that you can actually enjoy the outdoor space regardless of the room type.
I stayed in building two, top floor with the king bed, Easter weekend 2022Pros:The rooms are beautiful, spacious and were clean. The wifi was fast and working all the time. Most of the staff was polite. (See more in cons)The pool is clean. Nice jacuzziI think it’s cute that they provide a makeup wipe in both bathroomsCons:This one lady at the front desk was always rude when I had to speak with her. Whether face to face or over the phone. If you don’t know how to deal with customers, maybe you should not work a front facing role in a 4 star hotel, darling. Everyone else was super friendly. The cooking equipment was not of the best quality. Perhaps the worst I’ve ever encountered. The amount of hand dish washing liquid was waaaay too little. Especially since no soap for the dishwasher was provided. The TVs were outdated with barely any channels to watch. The view of the golf course is blocked by trees. You’re not allowed guests over. Not even 1But the security is so bad that anyone can walk in and they wouldn’t ask them questions; no guest cards or anything was given to prove that we, or anyone for that matter of fact, stayed there. So again, anyone can walk in the compoundThe bathtub didn’t hold water very long when it was plugged. Guess there was a leak somewhereDid I enjoy my stay? Yes. Would I go back, highly doubt it.
Very nice with great location. Restaurant and market across street and less then 20 to airport and 30-40 to beach. Room are nice but not great. Bathrooms need a little maintenance. Slow drains and pealing walls an clacking. Grounds are very well maintained. That why I gave it a 4 star.
I came in today and Enzo was very helpful. He was very attentive to my needs, polite and professional. You can tell this hotel really cares about customer service. Hope to see him around when I return.
We have been at the hotel few times before, last time Dec 2022. Our room was dirty, including dirty sheets on the sofa bed. The service was horrible, we had to bag (literally) for clean towels every day. We will definitely not coming back to this hotel.
Clean hotel with nice pool. The rooms are huge and better described as apartments. Very well maintained. However there was something about the place that was not very welcoming. Both myself and my wife felt this about the place but not really sure why. I will say that all the reception staff we dealt with were quite grumpy looking. The only person who was good was the manager Kenner. As a matter of fact he was fantastic and all the other staff could learn a thing or two about hotels from him. No big issues just a few little things that shouldnt have needed a manager to sort it out. Would make me reconsider staying here again.
Our overall experience here was great. The space for my husband, two children, and myself was more than enough. The only issue that we had was thier was no linens for the pull out sofa and when we called no one was available to accommodate us and the pillows for the sofa had blood and stains on them. Also the refrigerator stopped working but overall for the price and space was perfect!
The services provided were terrible. Checking in, was a hassles. Although we’d paid early, our room was ready late. Towels weren’t readily available, sometimes taking hours to receive. The staff were very stoic and did not appear to really care that customers were receiving less than their advertised service. They really should look at closing some of the property down; only book half for some of the season. The room was spacious, but the lack of good service is too big of a con to consider that pro. I don’t plan to spend my funds here again.
Awful Service, Room had a ceiling water leak, no hot water, rooms smell was Awful. No front desk personnel after 10pm to help. Call emergency line took over 2 hours to arrived to start packing again to move us at 130am to another room. cleanliness is a huge negative. The room needed a deep cleaning. We had mold on ac vent, ants on the nightstand, bathroom were dirty.Location was positive since its close to all the restaurants and City Place. BUT Definitely safe your self the headaches and inconveniences.
We called a day prior to arrival to check COVID regulations and to ask if the pool bar was open, we were told that it was open and they served all types of drinks. When we got there it was closed and were told by someone that had been there a week that it hadn’t been open the whole time they were there. Bathrooms were disgusting and shower was full of hair so obviously they hadn’t cleaned it. We made a reservation for a room for 4 people and only got two towels, requested two more and never got them. Roaches in the hallways. Pool was dirty, full of leaves and a dead lizard. There was even a raccoon hanging out by the pool. Sounds crazy but this is all true. This place is TERRIBLE!!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!
I had greatest time here, I came in on Tuesday, and it was friendly an a welcome home feeling. The room was excellent and peaceful. Nice size kitchen great bathroom. Big King size bed, soft pillows. Balcony so I enjoyed my bourbon outside. The pool fantastic, restaurant awesome and cross the street from resorts wa a mini Mall. I will be back in October.
Amazing location right in the heart of Doral. Its very close to the airport, with plenty of food options available close by. Its about 30-45 min from the beach depending on the traffic. Dolphin mall is 10-15 min away. The staff was friendly and the complementary breakfast was good. I stayed in a studio which is very spacious for 1 persons but can sleep up to 4 comfortably. If you are looking for a nice getaway without the beaches this is for you.
We had most awful experience. The front desk always goes to voicemail. I booked 2 rooms through Hotwire for 2 nights. I usually confirm by calling the hotel before going there. But their front desk never pick their phone, always voicemail. First night was fine, unclean rooms, not 4-star at all, more like 2. When we went to checkin 2nd night, they said, they moving to diff hotel due to water break, but gave only one room. For anything else they asked to talk to Hotwire, they wouldnt check reservation to confirm how many rooms they got, threw a piece of paper and thats it. Very rude, no help at all. When I called hotwire they couldnt find a replacement anywhere in Miami at that hour. Went through hell because of this useless, unkind dirty hotel with kids at that hour.Stay far away from this hotel
This place was great. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We had a full kitchen and breakfast bar plus 2 full bathrooms. The maid even washed our dishes. The work out room was efficient and they also had a spa area which you could use the steam room free of charge. Would definitely stay here again.
The rooms were very well designed and accommodating. There were some problems, however. During my time there they sent and engineer to fix my a/c at 9:30 at night. Also the bathrooms werent cleaned very well. I had some long strands of hair in my shower still from the previous guest. Also, hotels have to have self closing doors, which if I didnt pay attention when I left would remain open. This happened a couple of time because the maids didnt watch if the doors close. The staff is friends and the place is beautiful. The bar is good for a drink and I had the best steak and mashed potatoes there in a long time.
First this is not a hotel these are Privately own units which are leased to a property management company which operates it as a hotel so be mindful there is no room service, no daily up keep of the rooms, and the front desk is useless they do nothing but take a payment. Second there are residence that live on the property so there is no tolerance for any kind of noise even inside the room. The property is very centric near airports, main highways & restaurants. Uber eats delivered flawlessly. The rooms are spacious & sheets are clean and beds where very comfy. The rooms are not well maintained and show signs of wear and no upkeep. There is a $12/day parking fee with no valet offered. I was in building 15 (last building) that was a 12 min walk to the main building where the pool is located. Truthfully for the money i would of stayed next door at Trump resort which offer full service amenities for almost same money.
The room is very clean big and spacious. The front desk people was very nice and welcoming me my stay. The pool is very big nice and clean. We stayed in building 15 and my room ac was not working probably. So I contact the front desk and me and my fiancé was moved to building 2 watch was closer to the pool. Room 2 bed room was clean but they forgot to put rags in the bathroom and parking is 10 dollars plus tax. But other then that I really enjoyed myself we had a nice relaxing time and I will definitely come back again 👍🏽.
This place has great potential, but falls short as luxury accommodations. This property has been rehabed, yet some of the modernizations werent completely done. Biggest hurdles - one way in and one way out of the property. The alley in is a mile long. The fitness center isnt too fit for much of a workout. No room service. Overall, great stay option for the nightly price. Just not too fitting as a luxury stay.
I just stayed that this place and its nothing like advertised. I had to change the room because sofa-bed was damaged. They sent tech to repair after waiting for hours, tech wasnt able to repair because had no spare parts. Next day I requested a new room, after many excuses I got new one almost and the end of the day and for my surprise sofa-bed mattress was disgusting. Also I requested help to move my parents stuff to the new room and after waiting for hours and complaining they send someone. Security guard at the entrance was sleeping everytime I had to access the hotel. So they charge you parking for what? Front desk was rude and helpless and manager was never available. I sent manger email and never replied. Please dont waste your money and time with these place. Besides all pictures are fake and all rooms are falling apart.
Jaime, damaylu, and Mario definitely take the cake for excellent service and positive vibes! Aside from that, the establishment is extremely clean, food is delicious, and there hasn’t been anything that I can find negative about this place. If your building is a little far from the front desk, Jaime will gladly drive you to your designated building. Beautiful pool as well. Bathrooms are spacious and clean (love me a clean bathroom!). Made my first experience to Miami awesome, and will definitely be back here everytime I visit.
I booked the room and paid for the full night. This hotel did not let me check in and said no refund since I arrived late. No any notification was made prior to resell my room. Its the worst hotel I have ever seen.
It seems theyve cut down on staff. The hotel is full but personnel is scarce. While the rooms are real nice the outside grounds are unkept and need of cleaning. After 8pm theres no staff to help you. You are basically on your own. During the day, the staff is also not helpful. Our room didnt have a remote and 3 hours and multiple calls later and never received it. I used to highly recommend this property but it seems that its best days are past them. I wouldnt doubt they close within the year.
I thought this was going to be a hotel room, it was damn near an entire apartment. 2 full bathrooms, a bright living room with a kitchen table. The kitchen made me feel like I was at home. Only issue is , there were bed bugs crawling on the dressers.
I stayed here in June of 2021. Overall nice location. The first room we got was not clean at all. We contacted the front desk and they immediately got us moved to a cleaner room. The pool closed early , of course due to Covid . We got there early and we couldnt check in because of the time so the downfall was we had to ride around all day until we can check in . That sucked after flying in from so far away. We have booked again doe end of the year. Hopefully we will have a better experience than the last.
Great place. Nice rooms. But the cleanliness is horrible. My first room initially had old decorations stuffed under the TV system. Dirty finger prints on the knobs. Bathroom not swept. Lights barely worked. After complaining I was offered a even dirtier room. Stained carpet and once again bottles and glasses stuffed under the TV stand. Hotel receptionist was very nonchalant about the issues. Nothing to accommodate.
This property is amazing. Beautiful rooms, nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The grounds of this property are gorgeous, very well taken care of. Whirlpool tub and stand up shower in the bathroom, very large sitting area leading to a semi private balcony. Wonderful, I cant wait to stay again.
The furniture was cheap and worn. Screen broken to deck. There was no food on property after I had traveled hours. I was directed to cross the street for restaurants, but had to get back in my car because my room was 7 buildings away from entrance to drive-then no parking. I will never return. That is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I will never return
If I could give negative stars, I would. I stayed at this resort from 11/12-11/14. Upon checking into my room, it was clear housekeeping did not even pass a mop through the unit. There was spider webs and dust galore. What’s crazy is there was dust in clear areas that could’ve been seen and cleaned! The kitchen counter still had left over crumbs which caused a trail of ants throughout the kitchen counters and floors. The sink in the master room was clogged and there was water and dirt residue left in the sink. There was a tiny kitchen table which had been painted with some sort of water paint (with no signage) and bleed through my husband and my clothing. I contacted the property after checking in to be told that a manager would call me Sunday because my room selection was booked and they only had “lower units” available. I never received the call on Sunday. And when i checked out Monday Mr. G. Maya (property director) was in a meeting and would call me. He never did even though I sent an email to him immediately after checking out. This was on 11/14. Since then I have called and emailed the property both to him and the assistant manager Ms. G. Mora. NO ONE returns my call. And when you ask the front desk for corporate information, they allege to not have it. I then get one rep who insist I just call Expedia because they can’t give me a reason why no one has responded to my various emails or calls. For me to call Expedia and the resort not want to cooperate with them either. I even sent Mr. Maya and Ms. Mora photos of the damages and filth and literally no response. I cannot believe for the price you pay to stay, the fees you get taxed and NO ONE has the audacity or professionalism to contact back the individual who had a horrific stay. I was trying to be professional and hoping my issues could be resolved. But it’s clear they do not care about their customer service. I wish google would allow me to post the pictures of my unit that I took. Once I get that opportunity I will post those also. I highly suggest booking elsewhere. This place is trash, dirty and lack of professionals. One of the higher ups should really instruct their management staff to contact me.
We book to stay from December 22nd till January 1st.We only stay there for 5 days and left to a better hotel.Since we checked in we had problems with the front desk for some reason they were telling me the payment was not In Their system but it clearly showed in my credit card app I even called the card company and they confirmed that the Hotel had charge already my entire stay. After 15 minutes of back and forth the front desk decided to call their merchant and sure enough my payment was there. The place is not well maintain at all facilities are dirty and old, pool water is cold, jacuzzi is old and dirty.I booked this hotel because it had a balcony and we wanted to have breakfast in the balcony to enjoy the view but the entire time they had plastic all over the window and we were unable to use the balcony.Overall I would not recommend this place at all is lonely, old and their staff is not very nice.
The room was beautiful. It was the size of an apartment. The bathtub was very deep and had Jets, which was very nice. The appliances were all up to date. The room that we had could fit up to 6 patrons, even though we only booked for four. The place its at has a lot of places to eat very close by. Overall, a very nice place to stay
Absolutely beautiful hotel the service was amazing the only con was that on the website it said that your deposit was $50 a day and it ended up being $75 plus $11 per day to park. Other than that the staff was absolutely amazing the housekeepers were very professional and very accommodating. The room was cleaned every single day our dishes and trash were removed as well. We will visit again!
This is a beautiful place, the house we had was wonderful and spacious. The view of the trees and the golf course every morning was inspiring. The massage on site was great and relaxing. We did not get the room service but it is available for reservations before 11pm. The pool was supposed to be heated but not completely. Gorgeous water reflections accommodates familes due to it being a shallow pool; whirlpool was available. Overall a great experience will go and stay again!
A few posatives the rooms are very big with included kitchen. Location was great because we were close to family and entertainment. Price is great but you are getting what you pay for. Rooms are showing their age. Carpeting is dirty and coming off the floor. Black mildew on caulk in the bathroom. Insufficient dusting with lots collecting on shelves baseboards and windows. Worse part was the service. Multiple members from house keeping staff argued with me about when to clean even asking me to leave prior to checkout time. Supervisor was going to call me but never did and lied to front desk supposedly claiming we spoke. Pool water was full of bugs.
House keeping will bother you all hours of the morning. We had the late checkout time at 1pm which is the whole reason I booked this hotel in the first place. House keeping came at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:15pm just walking in on me while I was in a dead sleep. Very unsafe. Management needs to get the house keeping team under control because there is obviously a lack of communication. Unacceptable. If you enjoy being bothered by house keeping then this is the place for you. I work very late so I only book hotels with later checkout times. Told a gentleman at the front desk about this and all he had to say was, “sorry about that”. Easy for him to say. But are you going to fix the problem? Was my first time staying here and will definitely be my last.
From the moment we checked in the stay was horrible…. Rooms are outdated and the toiletwas inoperable .. called the front desk and was told no one was around to fix the issue….. asked for towels and supplies and was told thatHousekeeping was closed until next morning….There is no daily housekeeping …. They doHousekeeping once in 3 days….. I would neverStay in a dump like this … you can do better with your booking….. seeks reviews are fake
Hotel looks nice in general but service is not good. The pool has no service at all no bar no towels. The hotel will be much better if the pool has bar or server to bring some drinks.Rooms are great very nice.Just missing better service. Also registration it was a poor service when arrived.
Honestly…WORST hotel we’ve have ever stayed. There are only two positive things I can say about this hotel. When we first drove into this hotel we were impressed that it was gated with a guard. The second positive thing is that the room was very spacious. The negatives…the front desk service is AWFUL!!! They close their lobby at 10pm, therefore, if you have any issues after that time you are out of luck. When I went to them to speak about the issues…they just gave me the run around and at the end nobody solves anything. Yet!!!! They keep calling to collect payment since we checked in late (around 11pm) on our arrival date. Oh!!! our microwave was not working when we arrived (actually they gave it a temporary fix which only lasted one usage). Can you imagine how awful it was starting our vacation with my baby needing his milk warmed up. Yes, they have stoves, but no pots. Thank God there was a Walmart nearby and my husband rushed to buy a pot. The hotel needs upkeep…looks and feels dirty. There was even a puddle of urine by the entrance of our door. The hotel is separated into buildings and there are not enough parking spaces for each buiding. There was one night that we arrived to the hotel around 9pm and we had to park far from our building. My daughter was beyond scared (so was I) because there was a bum sitting on the lawn with a blanket over him. This didnt feel safe one bit. Also the week we stayed they were changing locks so just the fact of outside workers having access to our occupied room didnt make it safe either. What a horrible place to stay. Stay away! Do not be fooled becuase its Doral.
Roaches! I told the front desk I wouldnt need my room cleaned for the stay but when I asked for towels and tp it took 3 days to get them. I even saw the room cleaners twice but each time i asked them for towels or soap they said I had to call the front desk which I did and still didnt get them. Looks prettier in the pics.
It really depends what you expect. The rooms are o.k. I was there two times in two different rooms. No view, but a terrace to sit outside towards the Golf club, but with bushes in-between... so no view...Kitchen and bathroom are o.k.I liked the most that everything was easygoing and well organized. The Gym is smal but when youre allone in it o.k.Pool looks nice. Jacuzzi was not hot.One room had an older smaller TV, the other a brand new big one. Some lights didnt work.Everything was close by.So all over, I was happy, but some upgrades would help here and there....
My wife and I reserved three of the 3 bedroom villas for our families during the July 4th weekend. The experience was great. The villas gave everyone plenty of room to spread out boasting 2000+ sq ft with full kitchen and 4 bathrooms. They are laid in a townhome style with all bedrooms being upstairs on the second floor, so keep that in mind if you have people incapable of getting up and down stairs. They do have elevators in every building to help you travel from the ground floor to your second floor unit which is a plus when loading and unloading luggage or groceries. The units were clean overall. One of them did have small ants in the bathroom but the maintenance folks came to address it so it was no issue. Luckily they were the stinging kind of ants, more like harmless foraging ones. The staff was nice but you can tell the resort was understaffed overall. The front desk had limited hours which was fine with us since they let us know that upfront during check in. We bought our own cleaning products to keep tidy since we had such a large party. We got the sense that housekeeping was hard to come by due to COVID. I mean it didn’t seem like the place was rustling and we were fine with that. The location was great. Restaurants, bars, and shopping is right across the street like a 5 minute walk or less and we took full advantage. Mid beach was a 15 minute drive and the Miami international airport was also a 15 minute drive. We were able to catch the Trump resort fire work show from our balcony which was a plus. The place overall was is a great value and is definitely great for large parties. The exterior could use some refreshing, maybe power washing. The exterior walls look a bit dingy and some of the patio furniture looks a bit tired. Again, I might be a bit picky here since we are coming out of a pandemic and it takes time for things to get back to normal. When in Miami I would definitely stay here again and recommend you do as well. Best wishes!
The only positive about the place is the size of the room. The place look untidy, unkempt, carpet dirty with lots of spots. Front desk customer service worst than the flea market. They are so unprofessional, the girl that checked me out was rude, combative to give me a folio. I have never heard of a place with no mini bar or anything in the room except a coffee machine to want to wait until housekeeping clean a room to be able to print a folio. I had to be persistent to finally have a non existent Manager print my folio. And then she threw it on the counter. Experience was worst than a motel 6. Check out was supposed to be 11. Literally by 10:30 housekeeping starting to harass us. From that time until we leave the room they were standing right in front of the door.
A+. In what should have been a difficult time (height of COVID-19), staying at the Provident Doral was a pleasure. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, which made the stay very pleasant. Extremely spacious bedroom, complete with a luxurious bathroom that has a jacuzzi bathtub & wall-mounted TV. Great kitchen setup with island next to large living room & patio/terrace. Not to mention gym, spa, pool amenities normally on offer. Would highly recommend & stay again.
Nice place, but its not a Hotel. These are privately owned suites that are rented out... at least the room I stayed in. In- room mini kitchen complete with regular sized fridge and ice maker (no other ice machines on property that I could find) also the is no laundry machines here. There is a laundry vendor that will pick up your laundry and drop it if later once completed. Pricey... an example is like $8 per pair of jeans.Parking is okay, gym is small, pool was big and looked great... but closed for repairs while I stayed. Didnt try the restaurant.Wouldnt stay again, as it did not fit my immediate needs at the time. I need to be able to get ice and wash my clothes. Other places have free breakfast and coffee... this place didnt have those either.
Very nice area. Does have a restaurant with breakfast everyday for additional cost, which is a nice option.Unit has full refrigerator and accomodations are comfortable and quiet. There is limited maid service, but additional items available upon request.Quiet important to me and it was pleasant.
Too expensive and the service is not good. I was in the room and suddenly a person entered stating that he received an order to close the door of the laundry area. The room where I was, did not have a paper towel. they only change linen every three days. the bar was closed because it is open only from Thursday to Sunday. The TV in the room has only a few channels. hope something will be done to make the service better.
Cleaning staff left my door open all day.. when I got from work to the room I freaked out called the securitythey were nice they took care of me as far as making the reports. Luckily nothing was stolen not to forget that I had my phone laptop jewelries and my purse with me.Do you have enough chairs around pool area.I found the pool to be not so clean and they were a lot of kids.I was never able to eat there after being there for 2 weeks the restaurant was always either closed or booked for private events..
Really enjoyed this place. Room was huge and full kitchen was great when had some work folks over. Pool was really nice too, clean and pretty big but dont expect too much from the hot tub which is a 4 seater, but worked for me as pool area was very light when I was there in the late afternoon. Also breakfast was nice there as well. Overall nice and will stay again when in the area.
Awful experience there! The room looks like the pictures. However, the room was dirty, filty and we ended up leaving to a different hotel. The security agent was extremely rude. I was at some point in a life threatening condition and she refused to let me borrow a wheelchair.I had to crawl on the floor outside of my room and was later transported to the hospital. With the amount this property charges per night, I would at least expect decent service and that wasnt the case.Do not stay there! Save your coins and book a different place!
I am truly disappointed with this Hotel! If I could give it a zero I would. The hospitality was terrible. The woman who checked us in was rude. For what we paid I think it was dirty, outdated, my husband believes it was the hang out for the cleaning crew who apparently was next door having there lunch. Complaining didn’t do much either. Will never go back there and would never recommend to my fellow vacationer’s!
Went to the spa and got an amazing massage! Was there for team bride. The ladies were so nice and treated us like royalty! When I’m back in town I’ll definitely be taking my fiancé!
From the moment we checked in, it’s been an inconvenience. They gave us a building that was being painted. Meaning there was dust all over exterior floors and my room had a balcony that was completely sealed with plastic. Went to the front to complain and fortunately got another room but at the end of the resort. When we finally got to the new room to rest. The sofa bed didn’t have any sheets. No where in this room were the sheets!! I called front desk and security answered. Said I’ll have to call at 7am!! My kids had no freaking sheets. Nothing to put on the bed and nothing to cover themselves with. I called yet again and asked for a superior and she plainly said. If you have a problem… we can call the police . What?!!!!! A hotel that has no one taking care of things?!! Incredible and not acceptable! It’s very incocovuent that I’ll have to wake up at 7am on my vacation just to argue with front desk about how they handle things.
This resort is simply amazing! My 4th stay here was a couple of weeks ago as I traveled to Miami for surgery. The rooms are well worth the price! Very spacious! I have a 3 year old daughter who was traveling with us and needed extra space for her to play, from the traditional hotel room you are accustomed to booking. The decor in the hotel is modern and very nice. My biggest highlight is the CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Genesis (Manager) was so accommodating to my needs!! She gave me her personal cell number and assured I had red carpet treatment all the way from the booking process to the checking out. I rarely do reviews but I was so impressed by the customer service I received, it would be an injustice to this establishment if I didnt let future customers know! The rooms have a full fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, Tvs in the bathroom and the bed is so comfy! I definitely feel as this is a home away from home when Im in Miami and this will always be the ONLY place I stay at when Im in Miami. This hotel has a beautiful pool, with towels poolside. The bartender and food service is impeccable! Thank you so much Genesis for assisting me, even when you were off! I appreciate you so much and I definitely know this Company is truly grateful to have such a service oriented employee on board. Thank you Provident! :)
Clean rooms, however they do not like to return deposits. I have called many times this week trying to resolve this after spending close to $1000 for two rooms for the weekend. They will tell you that theyve released the funds and it must be your bank.. my credit union does not hold funds like this a week later. When you call, they will put you on hold for 20 minutes and come back making you repeat all the same information over and over, getting nowhere. The customer service is horrible. I would NOT stay here again, nor will I refer anyone to stay here.
I got to the hotel at 11am checked in and asked if they had any rooms available. They did not which is ok, but they ask me to return around 2pm when they should have rooms open. I get back and they did not have any room open. I told them it’s been over two hours since check out time and no rooms does not make sense. As I explained when I got there we had wedding to get ready for and needed a room all they offered was a lobby bathroom. I will never stay here again and will never recommended this hotel to anyone
Plenty of room, very clean and well located. Showers are great. Quiet place to enjoy your visit and balcony is nice at night. Lots if planes flying over low, landing at MIA but you can not hear them inside and you quit noticing them outside pretty quick. Staff is great and willing and happy to help with anything you need.
Me n my bf enjoyed our time there from massages to the food at the resturant. The only issue I had was the hot water wasnt working and the water pressure was pitiful except at the spa when we went. They did eventually come fix it but after driving 10hrs n want to relax n shower n cnt is not the move. But the rooms are beautiful spacious n its queit!!!
The Hotel has great infrastructure & location, but needs to improve & repair rooms & facilities. The mattress need to be replaced. The kitchen needs to be improved & more cups plates & utensils needs to be added. The washer & Dryer room was closed. The suites are too expensive with the present problems We did mention these problems at the front desk.... They did send a repairman to look at the problems, but the hotel needs to repair the suites before next rental. The restaurant needs to improve menu & offer better quality food.
One of the worst hotels stays I’ve ever had. Our room was SO dirty, they have us a room with stained carpeting, couch, stained sheets and comforter. I couldn’t believe it. ALSO house keeping is only at request and their housekeeping can get booked so you have to provide a request in advance... We stayed at provident doral on our first family vacation with our infant baby and they knew we had an infant and still booked us a very unsanitary room. It was a very dirty and disgusting place, I would avoid booking here. I’ve attached pictures below
Room was nice. Policies there are ridiculous. They charge all kinds of fees and holds on your credit card without proper notice. The minute you start to check in they inform you that there will be hold for your room per night staying. Never i formed us that we can vall to get a ride to lobby. Our room was a 15 minute walk.
AMAZING!!! This my go to local hotel from now on! I had the Deluxe Bedroom King Suite and it was beautiful and immaculate. Front desk was very friendly. Pool, jacuzzi, jet tub and shower was excellent! I wish I had pictures to show but I was too busy enjoying it. The pictures on the website are accurate. Lots of shopping around the hotel including my fave 3: Publix, Walmart & Dollar Tree. I can go on & on about how great it was. The only surprise was the overnight parking fee of $12/night.
Do not let the pretty pictures fool you! Service is mediocre and the rooms are filthy. I stayed in a three bedroom villa to which I could not check into early because it supposedly took three hours to clean between guests, floors are sticky, furniture is dusty, all cabinetry and glass doors are full of dirty fingerprints and the list goes on. Although spacious and very well priced, I will not be back. On top of it all, on a holiday weekend when they knew they were at maximum capacity, they decide to work on the parking lot and closed off a huge section, with my luck, right in the area where I was. Terrible, extremely dissapointed!
I did finally get in contact with the GM and he was really nice and helped me find another accommodation for my family at the same rate we originally paid. Our flight was changed as well so we will need to stay an additional day and the GM was able to get the extra day at the same rate. Although we will be staying at a different resort which is south Florida, I am honestly grateful that we dont have to pay the higher last minute rates to stay in a nice place that has all the amenities we wanted.
5day/4night stay to celebrate my boyfriend and I birthdays:Definitely expected a BETTER experience !! Only plus was that the location is super convenient to airport, malls etc and the bathrooms are amazingCheck-in was a breeze and the room was beautiful at first glance.. had to call housekeeping SEVERAL times just to get towels and sheets.. ants in one of the beds.. horrible balcony view.. hot water went out on our last night around 5pm & was told maintenance probably left and i would have to wait till morning 🥴 went to check out there was NO staff, doors locked.. it really could be a beautiful place with BETTER, more attentive & available staff!! I wouldn’t recommend AT ALL i’ll just keep this experience in my memory bank!!
From the time we checked in, we weren’t treated right at all. They charged my fiancé’s card $300. He could bot find his wallet so we decided to pay with my card. They charged another $500 deposit for 2 days and 1 night. Still not including the fee for the room. Online states a $75 deposit and of course was a lie . Our money is still on hold because of the holiday. First thing I see when I walk in .. are fingerprints and smudges on the mirror. That tells me the room was never cleaned properly, a mark on the side of the bed, dust where it shouldn’t have been and the dishes were not properly cleaned. For all this money and headache, I would have been better off somewhere reasonable. Horrible customer service. They would not let us speak to a manager when we kept asking for one. The front desk clerk asked if we needed her name so they know who to talk to. This is beyond price gouging and mistreatment to your customer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !!!
Honestly the place was kind of gross. I had ants on my nightstand and the bathrooms were not clean. The photos were a catfish , no breakfast provided , had to call 5 times to receive extra towels, the pools closed at sundown which was a inconvenience. Spend your money somewhere else, preferably a nicer hotel
Great hotel with even better service. I tried to get a room at a competitor down the road but was unable to. After one call to the Doral I was able to quickly book two rooms, one for me and my colleague, and even do a complex booking where I stayed in a three bedroom suite with my family for three nights and seamlessly checked into a one bedroom for the remainder of my business trip. One thing I didnt like is how online I was immediately presented with a discount on my room but had to specifically ask the staff on the phone for it when I made my reservation as they gave me the more expensive rate right away. The online website is also a little tricky to use I have found so its better to figure out what the best price is on the website and then call or email the hotel to finalize your reservation.
Lovely apartments. Very spacious. Big bedroom and bathroom. We were a family of 4 sleeping in a 1bed 2bath apartment. Children slept on large sofa bed in lounge. Great to have cooking facilities. Our only negative is that we were in apartment 14 and its a long way from reception and pool when you dont have a car. Golf cart provided for transport to room and back.
Service: ExcellentSpace: ExcellentAmenities: ExcellentUnfortunately, it fell short in the most important aspects, to my mind: Comfort. The king sized bed was quite unsupportive, the sofa and lounge chair were uncomfortable, and I wasnt able to get a hot shower in the master bathroom (then I used the second shower, which was fine).Having a large, well-appointed apartment with a full kitchen, huge windows, nice view, two large TVs and two full bathrooms all for the price of a decent hotel room was amazing. But for me, the most important thing in hotel is a comfortable nights sleep, and that I did not get.
Stayed in a villa with 3 bedrooms for a night. Very Spacious and has all the essentials. Can be cleaner. TV Controls and showers had residues so I felt a little uncomfortable after seeing that and didnt want to touch anything unless I wiped it down. Its across from many awesome restaurants, a shopping outlet and a supermarket. Super convenient.
Had a great stay here. I loved that they give you suite style rooms with a kitchen. Definitely will be back.
Very inconsistent service. The room had stains on the carpeting right at the entry... bad enough where they probably should not have rented the room and maybe taking the time to replace the carpeting in that area. The maid service was hit or miss with some days not leaving us enough towels and other days leaving us none at all. We had to wait one night almost 30 minutes to get through the entry gate as we were behind two cars that needed additional authorization to enter the property. I feel that the guard could have easily walked over and allowed us to enter to the second lane. Definitely not ever going to stay at this property again as there are so many other nice properties in Miami!
NiceOverall Stay. But when i checked out I was falsely charged for a wall damage that was there when i got in the room. I emailed videos to the manager showing proof that it was there before hand. I was told I would be refunded the extra $250 they took off my card. Asked for email receipt but still haven’t received either the refund or the email stating that I was being refunded. I stayed at this hotel June 17-21st for my birthday weekend , it is now July 12th almost a month ago and still haven’t gotten my money back. Highly upset and feel like they do this often to people and is giving me the run around about my money. Wouldn’t recommend.
Love love love staying at Provident Doral. This is about our 5th stay! We had a suite for us (couple) and another for my mom and kids. The suites are very spacious with a full bathroom with soaker tub and seperate toilet and separate shower. There is also a tv in the bathroom and a full size kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, and dishes. The balcony/patio is nice as well and has a ceiling fan. Its great for couples or families. There is a Publix and strip of restaurants and shops directly across the street. Super nice and great location.
We love our stay in this big hotel ✌✌👏👏 We checked in as 6 friends from California. We went for a church conference. We had three rooms up stairs very spacious and clean. All rooms had its bathrooms nd toilet. One bedroom had King size bed, one room got 1 twin bed with single bed, one room got twin bed. Living room got a big couch include bathrooms nd toilet for kitchen nd living room down stairs. We had buffet breakfast, which was soo lovely. We buy groceries and cooked our own food. Kitchen utensils was all provided with big refrigerator and gas stove nd other electric appliances.Thank you team Provident Doral. We really enjoyed staying in the hotel. We hoping to come back next time ❤❤ May God bless you all 👏👏
Totally 5 stars. Great hotel.
So I’m here at the hotel now Nice hotel great location but please do NOT eat at the restaurant!!!!! Food was disgusting and service was horrible I’m sitting by the pool and contacted front rest to have someone clean the pool and it’s been over an hour!!!! There’s dead bees dead lizards and trust me they were here since last night when I was in the pool horrible service
We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. From the moment we walked in the young lady named Genesis was so incredibly helpful. She assisted us with bell service as well as looking over brochures for things to do. We then proceeded to the bar where we met Mr. Ernie and he was such a great bartender. He went above and beyond to make sure our drinks were made to perfection. The food prepared by the chef, Mr. Arcel was absolutely delicious. I’m guessing that because of COVID the restaurant has limited staff so we noticed Arcel was not only taking the orders but preparing them as well & he never missed a beat. We could tell he definitely enjoyed his job. Lastly the two gentlemen who helped transport us from the front office to the building were awesome. Now to the rooms. WOW! I can’t even begin to express how great they were. Our first room had a super random leak so we were immediately moved to another one. The rooms have such unique styles and they’re beyond spacious. The jetted tub with the television in the restroom really allowed us to relax and unwind. This was by far the best experience we’ve had in a while and have already booked our next stay.
Definitely not a 4-star hotel. When we checked-in and got to our room we noticed the blankets and sheets on the bed were stained and dirty. After a quick call to the front desk housekeeping came by to change the sheets. Unfortunately after spending our first night there we were woken-up with construction going on in the room next to us. Again a call to the front desk and we find the construction is going to be an all day thing. Why would anyone put customers next to a room that will be undergoing construction the following morning?! Yes, the front desk did make arrangements for someone to help move us to another room in a different building but it was very inconvenient. The food at the Chop House is only mediocre for what you are being charged. The good thing is there are plenty of other restaurants across the street and a new Publix within a 5 minute drive from here.
Beautiful location, outstanding staff. We arrived at 10:15pm just after the kitchen closed. Miguel, a chef, offered to go back and make us some food as we had not had dinner. Ernie, the bartender, kept us entertained with his friendly manner and great stories along with Junior. Jaime, a bellman, was so accommodating and helpful. Diana at reception was excellent. We’re coming back in two weeks; can hardly wait.
First and foremost WOW. This place was amazing. Large rooms with kitchen and balcony. Pool with plenty of tanning area. Not very busy at all. Two nights made me feel like I was in my own apartment feeling welcomed. Cant wait to go back again.
I really wanted to give more stars! The room itself was nice, quite large. Bed was amazing. Though I was put off intensely so, when first thing I see when I walk in, is a large dark stain on the light carpet. Quite unsettling in contrast to the room.Parking setup was also horrendous! The grounds are very large, so I when I say I had to walk approximately 5 blocks to get to my room, I’m not exaggerating. I was in the very last building, furthest from lobby. Only parking I could find was steps away from the lobby door. Even then I was lucky. Guests were having to park off to the sides, not in parking spots. An exhausted traveler does not want to be faced with the daunting task of struggling with parking, then walking 5 blocks to their room. I was told someone would come escort me with my bags in a golf cart, no one arrived. I was exhausted, I didn’t feel like exerting the energy it took to approach staff yet again for a ride that hadn’t come.Vast improvement needs to be made. If parking is addressed, along with the night staff behaving a bit more accommodating, I.e; behaving on par with customer service expectations one may have when they think of a higher end hotel, then you’d have my 5 stars.
Customer service was okay but limited. Front desk never answers the phone. When I first checked in I was given a handicap room. Was not satisfied so I went to change my room the next morning. I was told to wait until later and would get a free upgrade for my inconvenience. Upgrade never happened. I had no maid service the whole week I stayed and was given no wash clothes to use for my family of 3 even though I requested several times. The hot water didnt work well in my suite. Many of the amentities that were supposed to come with your stay were unavailable. For such a beautiful hotel, I was very disappointed.
The room was absolutely beautiful and probably one of the most spacious hotels Ive ever stayed in!!!! There was a full kitchen and a bathroom that will make your jaw drop upon arrival. Check-in was a breeze and enjoyable really with Diana at the front desk. She was so warm and welcoming and was extremely fun, vibrant and personable. I would most definitely stay again on my next trip to Miami.
People at front desk don’t want to work. First I wanted to check in 30 minutes before and they want to charge mi 50$, then each room has laundry and they say they could not let guest use.. it says free parking and has a 15 + taxes rate per day… never more here
We checked in. Rented two rooms. One had the shower damaged and the water would run out-making a mess. When my husband checked-in, he asked for the rooms to be cleaned. They told him, he had to call. I called the following day since the shower would make such a mess. After almost 20 min of being transferred, the cleaning person said we needed 24 hours in advance. So I went to the front desk and requested for the next day. The next day I called again to make sure someone wold be coming. They assured me by 5pm. We got back to the room and nobody cleaned. My point: We requested it multiple ways/multiple times. NO CLEANING!! I would NOT stay here again.
Spacious rooms in a quiet golf course setting. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and Doral City Hall. Nice option for extended stays or overnight MIA layovers. 15 to 20 minutes to airport. Safe neighborhood.
The room was a suite, it looks like a small apartment, it has a kitchen, living room with a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms and a master bedroom with a king size bed, it is spacious, but the cleanliness is horrible, hairs in the bathtub, on the floor, strange smell Moisture, for me the smell was like cockroach fumigation, old and stained carpets, the bathrooms I dont know if they have ever been cleaned well, has mold between the shower wall, the kitchen refrigerator door dirty and tarnished, dirty floors, the air conditioning in the room did not cool, we had to call the front desk at 11 at night because it was impossible to sleep because there was heat, as the maintenance man was not there, he gave us a room to spend the night, until they fixed the air conditioning on the morning of the next day.The recreation area has a swimming pool, have a mini bar, the bathrooms in that area, dirty and old.The hotel has potential for the area in which it is located, the rooms are Spacious, but the administration doesnt work, its a shame. I dont recommend this hotel.
Absolutely disgusting. We got to the hotel 30 mins before the check in time and they made us wait an hour and a half since the room wasnt ready when they said it was going to be. We got to the room and saw ANTS all over the kitchen counters and bathroom floors. Dust was everywhere, dirt filled the counters along with the side tables...absolutely filthy. Thats not even the worst part.. there were ANTS ON THE BED. We tried wiping them away and killing them but they kept coming out from inside the bed... my mom had to sleep on the chair outside while my dad didnt sleep at all. We all woke up itchy and uncomfortable, after we tried to contact the staff/ manager about our horrible experience, they ignored us. We videotaped and documented the ants that were on the bed, counters, and floors. We have been trying to reach the manager for a month, they didnt answer the countless phone calls, emails, and complaints. They said it was out of their control making us contact expedia instead. This was the worst stay ever, please save yourself the money and find somewhere CLEANER.
Clogged shower, no hot water, maintenance inside your room every day fixing broken plumbing, $13 daily self parking fee
This is my second time this year with my family that we stay here. Great service friendly kind staff. Starting from the bellman Jaime súper helpful. My favorite and the reason why I stayed here for the second time Ms. Damaylu and Mario which were so welcoming w me and my kids great service and attention towards everyone!!! Also let me not forget the chef Willy he makes the most delicious lemon pepper chicken wings and pizza it’s a must to try these items… oh yea and my drinks you must try the Piña Colada and Dragon Berry made by Mario. Great Reataurant and bar duo!!! Gracias por todo ya volveremos!!!
The rooms were okay but I dont think for the money its worth it.. check in was at 4 and before I came I called to check in early but it was 75$. Arrived at 5 and room still wasnt ready. The room smelled weird and couch was stained. I called and they offered another room.. plus they place a deposit on the room and your full payment. And you have to pay and park there daily.. just unbelievable and no free breakfast.. its in a good location but too pricey for no real luxury
Nice location, clean, rooms are humongous. Met all of my expectations. Id book here again
Hmmmm..... I specifically chose this place because of its proximity to the airport and because in the age of COVID-19 I like to have fully appointed rooms with kitchens. This place seemed to fit all my needs. Got to the room, all very nice, except for two crucial issues: 1. There are fully functional kitchens—but NO cooking utensils whatsoever!!! Why in the world advertise having a kitchen? No pots, no pans, no cleaning agents. I have sat here trying to call the front desk for 20 minutes—No response. Tried a Again, because even though the thermostat reads 60F (which would be freezing) it is in the 80s. Again no response. It is these types of details and lack of good customer service that will never convert a casual client like me into a loyal one.ADDENDUM: after 45 unsuccessful minutes on the phone, got on the car and drove back to reception. Lady apologized and said she was the only person on the front desk. A hotel with hundreds of rooms and one customer service person to check-in, answer phones, etc. secondly, I complained about the lack of utensils. I kid you not: I was told that rooms don’t automatically come with cooking utensils. One HAS to request them (?!?!). But of course, it is after 5:00 pm and maintenance is gone for the day, and so she is unable to help me.Provident Blue Manager???? This is simply unacceptable.
Pros: Room was spacious and very clean. Decor was very modern, good aesthetics. Service was great, all staff members were friendly but never pushy. Cons: Location is far from the airport entrance, but close to the back side of the airport - meaning there are planes overhead regularly while you relax by the pool.
Make no mistake, this is NOT a four star hotel. This is a condo-hotel, with some units being occupied by residents. The rooms, while roomy and nicely furnished, are filthy with dirty rugs, smeared surfaces, sticky bedframes, etc. We had two rooms during our one night stay and both were in similar condition. Limited parking, poorly stocked kitchenette (no coffee maker) and haughty desk staff. Grounds, pool and spa nicely maintained.
Disappointed. This is not the same place that I fell in love with in 2015. Exceptional service, wonderful drinks and warm smiles made my Pre-pandemic, bi-monthly visits to Provident exceptional. Unfortunately now, I guess we have the Pandemic to blame for the restaurant being closed Mon thru Wed.(ofwhich I checked in famished looking for a good meal and Ernie the bartender that makes the best margaritas), the pool shutting down at 7 and a robot behind the check-in desk(please dont get me wrong, I just prefer a genuine smile verses a rehearsed generic one.) If you want a large property with $12 parking per night then Provident will be the right place for you. On the bright side I was able to get a 12n late check out verses the regular 11am.
One of the best experience I have ever had. Our room was great: very large space, kitchen, living room, jacuzzi, two showers, a bed you would love to have in your house, televisions everywhere. Highly recommended
When we first approach provident doral at the blue Miami, we were greeted by a kind security guard who was making sure anybody that wasn’t suppose to be there wasn’t & I liked having that extra security. Then we went to front desk to get our keys and the receptionist was very friendly and social she gave us our key and informed us there would be a $250 hold on our card for smoking fees which is understandable they do this at most hotels. We are now our heading to our room and it gave more of a apartment complex vibe compared to a hotel vibe which I like because it felt more welcoming and homey. We stayed in suite 1205 and when we first entered the room I was amazed by the space and quality of the room especially since it was only $136/ night and had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Speaking of the bath room it was definitely the highlight of the room , very luxurious. Not only was there a jacuzzi tub but there was a separate rainfall shower that was really big and a separate glass stall for the toilet as well. I really got to enjoy this bath room , however they do need to do a new design in the shower because there’s a flat step before you walk into the shower and , because it was flat any water that falls on it was falling onto the floor outside the shower, that step needs to be slightly slanted so water runs back into the shower. Also my toilet was broken the whole tome we were there, well I guess I shouldn’t say broken but we definitely had to makeshift flush it and open the back of the toilet every time we used it , we did address the toilet with front desk and they sent the maintenance guy to fix it but it was a one time fix and happen again after he left so I suggest replacing the toilet in that room.Let’s move on to the kitchenIn the kitchen there was a dishwasher a big duel refrigerator with a ice maker on it , two flat top stove eyes and a washer a dryer. The kitchen was nice and fully equipped for a short stay and they did provide some utensils and pans but you have to call room service and request more if you want to do some real cooking however room service sucked here it took them 2 hours and 2 phone calls to bring me a pan, a sponge, a spatula and some toilet paper but at least you were able to reach the service desk unlike the front desk who just never answered the phone no matter how many times I called. Apparently front desk only talks in person because when you go there she’s there and ready to assist but not taking any phone calls for whatever reason. The bed was huge but very uncomfortable and had stains all over it when you took a closer look which was very off putting . Such a nice hotel should be completely replacing stained sheets and not just trying to cover them up .This room had ample closet and drawer space which looked very nice and added to the quality of the room. There was also a sofa bed, a dining room table and a back porch if you do want to smoke .One thing I did want to mention is there is too many light switches (at least 10) and useless lights in this room . It needs to be rewired so that there is two central control in each area compared to 5 in each area or at least label them if you’re going to have that many. Also I did see and kill two roaches in this room which I can kinda understand because it’s Florida and we were on the bottom floor but there definitely needs to be some preventative measures taken so that there is none at all. The A/C didn’t blow very hard and it was hard to cool the room down sometimes. All in all I did enjoy this hotel, they just need to work on their cleanliness and some design errors.I didn’t get to go to the pool but I did go hotel bar which was slightly disappointing because there $14 Pina colada drink was bland but they did have a 2 for one special going on.I would absolutely suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Miami , it is about 30 minutes from the beach but the hotels on the beach don’t have jacuzzi tubs so *shrugs*
This is the second time this year we stay here and we live this hotel amazing service all around!! A special thanks to Damaylu and Mario at the restaurant and pool bar!!! I am a native from Miami and this is our staycation destination from now on!! The food is amazing you must try the lemon pepper wings and pizza. Thanks to the chef Wily and bellman Jaime….
Stayed here for about 8 days during the Christmas Holidays 2019. Loved the location. Loved the hotel and especially loved the front desk staff. The place is just beautiful overall. The grounds are well kept. Also, the rooms are beautiful. The gym is small but clean. OveWe did have a few issues but the Front Desk Staffed handled everything. Hotel management really needs to recognize them. Stephanie in particular. So Ill list the concerns but again I wont take off stars for it but upper management really needs to read this and address. The housekeeping staff is absolutely horrible! Not just once but numerous times they let us down. When we first walked in the room was beautiful. Really nice layout. So far so good. We did notice that they only had 2 towels but did not bother them the same day. I left a note asking for 2 more towels since there are 4 of us staying there (which was listed with hotel as well). When I got back that night, the housekeeping staff only left 2 towels again and then left me a note to call the front desk to request 2 more. Found that strange but no big deal, I called the front desk and they sent 2 more over. From then on, no issues with towels. So Christmas Eve we come back to the room late and realized housekeeping forgot to leave new toilet paper. Called the front desk, nice girl brought one roll in a golf cart and I met her downstairs. I explained there are 2 bathrooms and she only brought one, she said she will be right back. I waited 20 min for her outside, she never came back! Thats ok, did not bother to call again. So by the second or third day we notice they are not sweeping the floors well or vacuuming. We call the front desk and let them know, they stated if you want it vacuumed you have to request it so we did. I never once saw ANY housekeeper with a vacuum cleaner and they never did either. But again we are pretty easy going and worked around it.So here is the real issue. One morning the housekeepers came and we asked her to come back later. We gestured since she did not speak English and she said ok. Just to make sure my wife stopped at the front office before we left, she walked inside and asked the front desk person (Stephanie) to please make sure someone comes to clean the room just to make sure there are no issues since we will be back late.We come back late and the room is not cleaned! So now I call the front desk. They were nice and stated they would look into it. They did not call back, 20min later I called back and I got a person on the phone that said we refused service and they were adamant they are not coming back out! I was shocked. Now before I made the call I did see a housekeeper with her cart on our floor, I went back to look for her and she was gone!At this point my wife gets involved (and she never does). She walks down to the front desk. Luckily Stephanie was still here (she spoke to her earlier) and she explained the situation. Stephanie remembered the conversation and she said she will take care of it, she said there was a miscommunication somewhere but she will send someone to clean the room.We ended up going down to the pool and also the surrounding area to hang out which was pretty nice and waited for an hour or two until they cleaned the room. Stephanie said the Housekeeping supervisor will be doing it. That supervisor did an amazing job, better than all the other housekeeping staff. So all in all we still rated it 5 stars since the Front Desk staff always did an amazing job and rectified all issues. Kudos to Stephanie.
DEFINITELY not as pictured on the web: I arrived around 2:45pm and they told me I’ll have to pay an additional $75 to check in before 3 (🤨). Got to the room and it’s “ok” (definitely need some upgrades, repairs & cleaning). They advertise washers & dryers but don’t tell you it’s an additional $250 to use them (🤯). The TV channels SUCK and since they don’t have the manufacture remotes I couldn’t log into Netflix (🤦🏽♀️) The patio / balcony faces ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (🤷🏽♀️)The location is the best thing I can compliment on … other than that BUYER BEWARE - THIS IS NOT A RESORT ITS A CONVERTED APARTMENT COMPLEX ‼️‼️
The worst experience I have ever had! We stayed in a suite, to begin with it was not properly prepared with enough bedding. The room was invested with fire ants and the maids did not come daily to clean the room. The icing on the cake was the GREEN pool. We have a pool and are very familiar with the chemicals required to operate one. My husband went to the front desk to make them aware that the pool was green, they stated they are going to have an engineer come take a look at it. In the meantime the kids put on their masks while swimming in the pool, only to find floating skin and hair balls...disgusting. We immediately made them get out of the pool and asked to speak to a manager. After speaking to the manager we were even more disappointed. He said he doesnt understand pools and the engineer had already come. When we asked him what was discussed with the engineer he said he didnt speak to him. We showed him pictures we took of the 4 pool pumps that were turned off and the barrels that should have chemicals in them EMPTY and filled with mosquitoes and larvae. He said he was not authorized to shut the pool down. He could care less about the families and small children swimming in the un-treated water. This is the first time in my life that I have ever written a negative review about any company. This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had and I would never stay here again.
Place is a fu@king joke sent a package there was told it was complete when picked up it was open and my stuff had been stolen. Tried calling the managers no one ever called back left several voice mails. Very un professional and they crooks working there... thanks for the call back Mr Amaya
My inital room was very disgusting. There were ants and roaches. When I complained to the front desk, they stated that they sent someone to assist while I was out of the room. However, the problem continue. I finally called again and my room was changed. The door lock was broken in the second room. Anyone was able to get in if they pushed the door. I will never stay there again!
Great ambience. Three star because we booked a place with kitchen and were devastated to notice that in the name of kitchen there were practically no utensils. On asking for some we got a couple of them. We were booked for two nights but moved into a different hotel after one night. Ambience though is brilliant.
I usually don’t leave reviews but with this experience, had to relay it so others won’t have this terrible time ..I can say with full confidence, this is one of the worst experiences I ever had ..First , the hotel advertised that there is a 24hrs front desk service and then you discover that all hotel staff leave by 10 pm leaving the hotel gate security guard to deal with everything after 10 pm!! We arrived by 11 pm, Lobby was closed , it took us a quite while wondering here and there to finally realize that the room key was left with the gate security guard! Our room was in the end of the resort far away from the hotel lobby and the pool by almost a mile and half !! My wife can’t walk for long distances because of a medical condition , I asked the security guard to change the room , she told me she can’t do anything and tomorrow morning you can speak with the front desk when they open..Upon checking in , we found the sofa bed was dirty with stains and food debris!! We asked the security guard for clean sheets so my son can sleep on it , the response was she doesn’t have right now and I have to wait till morning when staff comes to get clean sheets !!Next day morning , I spoke with the manager who td me because of COVID they are running low staff and room service are short and busy and might not able to provide a clean room near the pool (so they had empty rooms but they don’t have enough room service staff to clean them)! However he promised he would find something and let me know - till end of our stay he didn’t even bother to contact me to apologize for not fulfilling my request !! (Complete ignoring)Second, The room was not clean full of bugs problems ( cockroaches, ants , bed bugs …) I killed a cockroach in the kitchen area and pictured it (4 stars hotel!!??)Third, we stayed 3 nights in which the room was not cleaned even once by the staff and when I asked why , the response was their rule no cleaning rooms for people who stays less than 4 nights !!!And finally in my booking I requested for late check out as my flight will go late , when I called them last day to confirm , they claimed they didn’t receive any requests and that I have to empty the room in check out time!!!every shortfall , the answer stays the same (because of COVID they are running short in staff!!) - it became obvious that the hotel management is taking COVID as a excuse to decrease staff cost !!How come this is a 4 stars hotel .. dirty rooms with bugs - no room service - no room cleaning … pool area without a single umbrella or shade ! Pool area chairs not clean and full of ants crawling over !!!Do yourself and your group a favor, stay away from this place and try to find a more decent clean reliable option ..
