The bands were great. Cover immediately at the door, then get carded afterword. Which was weird because my card was already paying for my cover when he came up behind me with my wallet out to ask for identification. Which made me feel uncofortable having my wallet out and being approached from behind. Otherwise the sound and light guy killed it. Secondhand Souls were fun and exciting. The stage and sound was excellent. Tables and chairs were nice. Bartenders were quick and friendly.
The perfect place to listen to perfect music. Shank Hall needs be experienced by everyone who loves music so they can understand how awesome the little shows are when performed in the best spot in town.
Nice size venue, cozy, great for getting close up. Sadly for our visit 3/22/24 the Taxmen, who mention Beatles covers as part of their song list, decided to do a list of songs from their new album.Hey guys, we loved the harmonies and musicianship, but do you really think its a good idea to completely pre-empt the Beatles w multiple songs no one has ever heard? We left early, disappointed. Please remove the reference to Beatles if you feel you can draw a crowd on your own merit.
We went to this place to see think Floyd which was a cover band for famous British rock band Pink Floyd. The crowd and the atmosphere was amazing we really enjoyed the show and all the energy from the small stage. They have pictures of many famous figures and their signatures hanging on the walls this place has a lot of character and history I recommend this place for grabbing drinks or seeing some really old school shows.
A fantastic, intimate venue. They (unfortunately) tend to book a lot of cover/tribute bands and other sub-par acts, but once in a while they hit a home run with their booking (e.g. Samantha Fish) and suddenly all is forgiven. Once in a while they have Pun Slams which are a totally different kind of event but a TOTAL BLAST, and I highly recommend checking them out.
Wow, this was a perfect venue for watching live music. Drunk prices were in line with the neighborhood and the sound system was great, probably because I had a slight buzz in my ears and hour after the concert. I enjoyed Shank Hall and when I get back to Milwaukee, I will look it up again. I traveled from Denver just to see Altered Five perform.
Sound is exceptional, bartenders are good, maybe a little off the night I was there but we all have off nights (being a bartender myself, I know all too well) what I love is that you get up and close with your favorite band. No place in Milwaukee can you watch the expression on the band face while playing.
An intimate LIVE MUSIC musical happening with every act that is up on the stage !!! The service is also excellent and all in all makes for a fantastic experience every time I have seen a show there !!! I also appreciate the fact that they book some great Blues acts like Little Ed whom I recently saw there !!!
Attended a show here awhile ago. Sound guy spent most of the show on his phone. That’s pretty unacceptable. And lazy. Guess that’s why he works at shank hall…Workers were meh all around. Place could use a good cleaning. Bathrooms are kinda trash. All that is par for the course for a music club though. The owner however has trashed many music venues in the city. Calling the police on the for “violations” or trying to shut their shows down. Pete Jest is not a good person or well respected. I will not attend shows here again. Pretty great place to see a tribute or cover band I suppose. They do no promotion on their end either.
Great place for an intimate concert. Great seeing William Fitzsimmons there again. The last time here was there was 2014.
It’s been along time since I’ve been to a concert at Shank Hall, and this place has been completely transformed since then (the early ‘90s). It reminds me of clubs in New York where there are autographed pictures of those who have played on its stage adorning the walls.Several celebrities have played on this storied stage — if these walls could talk! The sound system for the band we heard was excellently built and its elaborate console expertly engineered, giving a clean and clear mix to the band’s precision performance. The bar staff was attentive and accommodating, mixing up drinks almost as quickly as we could order them. Our experience at an elegant private party here simply could not have been better. Bravo!
We went to Shank hall to see Adrian Belew. It was a very intimate. show and we still talk about it.Photo: Thats Julie Slick rocking on Bass guitar, with Belew in the red hat, doing things with a guitar that guitars were never meant to do. :-)Update: We went back, this time to see Stick Men. Another great date night! Photos: Markus Reuter (touch guitar), Pat Mastelotto (percussion), Tony Levin (Chapman Stick).
Overpriced weak drinks. Worst on the east side. Staff not rude but not friendly either. They seem pretty comfortable in their positions so why bother being nice. Sound and music are the only reason to go.
Here to enjoy myself listening to my favorite local singer. However they either over sold the event, or didnt have enough seats, or we were just supposed to stand and listen to the music. Either way we left after 15 minutes having asked were there more seats to put out and was told no.
Going to see Midge Ure here again....great venue.
Excited to hear NO Quarter Led Zeppelin band on Saturday December 2, 2023 only to be totally disgusted with the lack of organization, terrible screeching off key/tune on songs nobody ever heard! Too packed, 40 minute break??, power problem?, they acted like this was a practice session. Very disappointing. I like Shank Hall and look forward better talent!
Great place to see a show. I had a blast
My wifes cousin played here. A lot of family came to see him. The bartenders were not friendly. Like they couldnt be bothered. Family gathered around after the concert and talked. The workers were rude and said they were closed. This was before midnight. They apparently dont want business. No wonder there werent many people there besides family. This place really went downhill since the last time I was there.
Overall an amazing show seeing The RAA last Friday. The sound quality was good. The only weird thing is the large space in front of the stage. I realize maybe it was just for this show/artist preference, but for the opening act, no one was standing in the open area in front of the stage. Everyone was sitting back at tables or hovering around the bar. So it just felt awkward seeing an artist perform with a giant empty space in front of them. Something the artist commented on a couple of times while performing, so maybe it was the crowds fault? Once the main act started though, many people got up and moved into the space. Would come back to see another show.
The only complaint I would have is ,I have been to the Shank at least 10 times and every time getting drinks at the bar seems like pulling teeth. The one bartender is always great and on top of things the other one seems like she doesnt even want to be there . Love the shows there and will continue to go because the bar takes a back seat to the music for me.
Shank Hall has a well-deserved place in the history of live music in Milwaukee. This club hosts performances by the most interesting collection of artists and continues to be THE place to see entertainers from the most promising up and comers to the legends of a generation! Shank Hall is run by folks who have a deep commitment to live music and truly know how to find and promote the best talent. The staff is friendly and efficient. The bar is cozy and the atmosphere has interest and an energy that unique in the industry. The drinks are crafted by expert bartenders so feel free to order your favorite (they will have what it takes to make it a great one)! Shank Hall is a must to experience on a visit to Milwaukee. It embodies the very best of the citys night life!
Absolutely the best venue to see a concert in Southeast Wisconsin! It is truly a gem! The sound is always amazing! The variety of music is unbelievable! Very intimate shows! There isnt a bad seat in the house! Lots of major acts got their start at Shank Hall! Thank you to Shank Hall for keeping live music going in Milwaukee for so many years!!!
Great venue. Not huge so bands are near no matter where you sit. Bathrooms are newly renovated and clean. Highly recommend seeing your favorite bands there when they play at Shank Hall.
Amazing show by South Bound doing Dark Side of the Moon was the best show Ive seen in years. We didnt expect much and we were BLOWN AWAY! I was jaw dropped during most of the show! Outsranding!
Great comfortable small venue. Good friendly door and wait staff. Was surprised table drink service. Wait staff were great at eyeballing if another drink was needed without disturbing the show. Saw a comedian there, not a bad seat in the house.
Shank Hall is a Milwaukee landmark. Support local venues please!
I’ve been a foh live sound engineer for 15 years and I have to say, this is the best sounding small club I’ve ever been too. Tight controlled audio- absolutely fantastic place to mix and see a show!! Plus the management is top notch! Hats off to peter jest and the whole shank hall crew!
Great little historic live music venue. So intimate, the performers must walk amongst you!
Show seating was theater seating style with chairs close together, but I dont think theres a bad seat in the house. Small venue seats 300. Definitely will go again. Drinks serve at your seat too.
Every time we go, its a blast. Obviously were seeing acts we want to, but the venue is nice and quaint. Drinks arent too expensive, but expect to pay $10-12 for a round with two people. The only thing I could say about the venue is the stage could be higher for the shorter crowd. The sound makes up for that. I could hear everything and it wasnt loud for the sake of being loud.
Great sounding house system. The 7 or 8pm show times make it more like going to a concert than a bar, shows are usually over by just after 11. The musicians almost always do an after show meet and greet for free here.
Saw The Features here with about 50 other people. Will never have another concert experience this intimate. If youre lucky enough to catch a group with a handful of hits, or discover an act that hasnt yet taken off, you wont be disappointed. Great seats everywhere and you dont even have to leave the bar!
Laid back and intimate. We could see the performer easily from the back row. Set up like a medium sized banquet hall. Drinks were good, server personable. Parking across the street behind the gas station.
Very nice and cozy place. Seating very close to each other makes interactions and socializing a fun experience. Might not be fun for claustrophobic people. Tickets sold online on the club website.Only 21 or older allowed. It would be nice if they mention the age limit for the events. The website does not specify the age limit. Had to call to figure it out. Got recorded message and had to listen to the whole recording in end of which they specified age limit.Only street parking available. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking.
We saw Samantha fish at Shank Hall last night, great little venue, I would describe it as a up close and personal type place great drinks at a fair price.
Cool place to see a band. I think the drink prices are a bit steep, especially for tap beer. But it was a local draft brew.EDIT: I lowered my review to three stars. Still a great venue for live music, but the bartenders SUCK! They are rude and slow. The drink prices are obnoxious.
I havent been to Shank hall in probably 30 years. The concert was great because it was an intimate setting that allowed everyone to participate. Very CDC compliant. Check itout and you will be glad you did .
Ive been here many times, nice intimate venue, a lot of my favorite artists come through there.
Its hard to find the words to descibe Shank Hall. Amazing is one of them. Its like watching Live music in your own home with friends. Its a great time for sure.
Tickets to high priced thats probably why only 12 people showed
Shank Hall should be a great place to listen to good music. Its just the right size and has a good bar and staff. And when it all clicks, it can be a great scene. But they dont get enough decent acts, and dont always draw the crowds the acts they did draw deserve. There have to be good local artists who need a venue, and there must be a way to get people in the doors. But until Shank Hall figures that formula out more consistently, its never going to be more than just ok.
It was my first time ever visiting Milwaukee and my first ever Shank Hall experience!! I seen Led Zeppelin 2 and had and awesome time with friends!! Great place overall!!
300 seats make all seats great seats; fair ticket prices; wine & beer fairly priced; friendly staff and almost always fabulous artists; big names & not so well known all in what can truly be termed an intimate venue in the best sense.
I end up at Shank Hall because the bands I tend to want to see play these smaller venues. They do a great job of what they do. Its clean, set up well, and the drinks are decent. Im glad theres a place that brings bands like Satsang to MKE.
Great venue to play at. Love the Spinal Tap association & they have pictures of a diverse range of artists who have played there. We had a great gig there - Good atmosphere, with friendly, helpful staff!
My friends and I have always had a positive experiences at Shank Hall.We love the Blues. We have had some great nights of music. Sit backand enjoy the tunes in a quaint, small venue. Love the price, too.
Shank Hall is a Music venue , not a Bar.Alcohol is served here , but its really all about the tunes. Local , National , and International artists have played here over the many years that it has been open.Named after the Shank Hall ( actually The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee ) made famous in the movie This is Spinal Tap .Photos of many of the artists who have played there cover every wall.A true Milwaukee gem.NOT OPEN TILL BAR TIME.Closes shortly after the music ends for the night.Photo is of the Milwaukee Band Altered Five Blues Band .They recently signed a National recording contract, and have been featured on Sirius / XM radio.
Was at the gas station across the street, and could hear the band warming up inside before hours. It was about 30 mins till open and I am sick so I didnt wanna go in tonight, but will definitely be making a point to visit in the future. It looks like a cool place to vibe and the band sounded good even from across the street.
TAP INTO AMERICA! Loads of cool artists have played here (Lisa Loeb, Tony Levin, Goo Goo Dolls, etc). Great size room and sound is on point. BUT, the owner named the place after Shank Hall (of Spinal Tap fame) as he booked them back in 1984 at a nearby venue. And Tap did hold a press conference here back in the day. Rock n Roll history in downtown Milwaukee!
I bought tickets to see a cover band online. I took an at home test just before the concert per covid protocols on the website. I photographed my test with my watch showing the date & time just in case. The door men stated they couldn’t prove the test was mine or when I took it. They said I needed to have the test photo with my ID, the test with me or take the test in front of them. They rudely refused to refund my $30 ticket costs. Shady business practice. Will not support in the future. Dont waste your time here.
Had a great time seeing Xposed 4heads! Then the Fantastic Plastic, the bands were fun. The crowd was up and dancing. Bartenders were fast. There typically is a cover charge. Parking is on the street and can be difficult to find.
A funky venue with great bands. Bring cash for your drinks. Fans of the Lesser Knowns will love looking at the hundreds of autographed pics.
Only been twice but I love it! Great vibe, sound quality, and friendly staff. Drinks are a bit pricey, but thats ok! Happy to support.
Big place, great for a rock show or a party. Was not pleased with the sound engineer
Good music and ok prices for drinks. Clean bathroom so thats a plus. But there just something in the air that makes me feel like... how do I put this.. its like Im breathing in either mold or asbestos. Either way, that carpet needs to go and so do those ceiling tiles.
First of all, let me be clear that it is extremely rare for me to give a negative review and to post comments that give a poor rating. However, with Shank Hall, I felt my only recourse in trying to reclaim my wasted night there was to clearly describe my experience so that others never fall victim again. Steer clear of this place!!It is a great shame that Shank Hall is run so poorly because it is inherently a good performance space. That is overshadowed and completely diminished by what we experienced and witnessed. We have never received a more rude, toxic, spiteful manner of service from any staff of any establishment weve ever been to. The person running the door on the night I visited Shank Hall exhibited the most bizarre, angry, jaded to the world, attitude to nearly every patron. My wife and I traveled 3 hours, stayed in a hotel, ate at several restaurants and brought Milwaukee a decent chunk of tourist dollars all centered around going to a concert at Shank Hall. The only regret about our whole visit to Milwaukee was going to Shank Hall. The door person threw a tantrum anytime anyone wanted to step outside. He refused to provide coats (from coat check) to our friends because they had used the service too much. And he insisted on an overly-complicated, silly, antiquated ticket system for entering-reentering the hall. If a person lost the little piece of paper ticket, they were harassed or not allowed to enter despite having a valid event ticket and/or stub with ID, etc. When challenged and questioned about these things, in a friendly way, he grew very angry and proceeded to kick one of us out. For no reason at all! Add to that, our bar tab was clearly padded - or the bartender was charging other drinks to our tab. We were with a group of people (30+) attending the same concert - were all professionals, civil, not trouble makers in the least - and every single person with us was flabbergasted with how poorly they were treated by the staff. I called and left a message, sent a Facebook message, and an email via the website - again very polite and asking for follow-up from a manager or the owner. I wanted to make sure that the business owner knew about our terrible experience. I have never received any type of response or acknowledgement. All I can say is that if you are a band considering this as a venue - I urge you to look elsewhere. Go somewhere where your followers will have a nice overall experience. If you are a patron considering going to a concert at Shank Hall - go elsewhere! Wait for your favorite band to play at another venue. This place doesnt care about their patrons, they dont care about their business, they dont care about anything except padding their pockets.
Fantastic venue to see musicians! Ive been coming here for years to see bands like Brand X, Buckethead, Warren Zevon, Ray Manzarek, and most recently Adrian Belew for the second time. Small enough where any seat is awesome, even if sitting at the bar, though Ive always got there early enough for close seats, being gen admission. Coat check available, and recommended, as things get a bit close, with stackable chair seating. Beverage prices are average for East Side, even coffee available, for a quick after-show java before hitting the road. Also if you stick around after, you may get a chance to get a CD autographed or a picture with , as were the cases with Adrian and Buckethead. If a band you like is playing here, dont miss a chance to see them in an awesome and intimate setting...
My favorite band was coming here and I am almost 20 years old so I didn’t meet the “21 critera.” I emailed them in advance and told them my story, they said it was no big deal and long as I came with my valid ID, ticket and the email. I got there and they wouldn’t let me in. I wasted time and money. Then I was waiting for my ride in between the two doors because I didn’t want to drive and park my car in Milwaukee and someone from their staff kicked me out of the building completely and made me stand outside in the middle of December!!! I get it, I’m not 21, but I wasn’t going for drinks, I was going to listen to my favorite band and planned according by sending them an email!! I am an adult and handled the situation professionally unlike them. Beyond rude and beyond disappointed in staffing and coordination.
Been here many times the last 10 years the best in music very nice staff good prices. If you want to see a band you will because their playing on your lap. Great time every time.
Great Milwaukee nite club for music. Saw Kiefer Sutherland play live and he was outstanding. Club has intimate atmosphere that puts you close to the stage, a full service bar and friendly service.
Shank Hall was a great time as usual. Nivrana was absolutely great. Drinks are affordable, atmosphere is pleasant..
One of the last great venues to watch live music. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great show at a great venue.
The room sounds good but the staff is obnoxiously rude. In a packed room one of the staff told me I had to move so people that came to see the show could see. I was standing in an open area not bothering anyone. I replied that I was here to see the show too and he immediately threatens to kick me out of the venue. 5 minutes later several people were standing in this mysterious forbidden area and he said nothing. Later in the evening I saw him pull a chair out from under a woman that was sitting down and she fell to the floor hard. He proceeded to yell at her that this was his chair and that she should never do that again.
Great customer service from Shelby! Shank Hall is intimate -- like seeing a concert in your friends super cool basement.
Shank Hall is the quintessential live music experience - a small venue with very little seating, a bar and a stage. The experience is intimate, and the interaction between listeners and players is up close and personal. Ive enjoyed it everytime Ive been there, mini stonehenge and all! :-)
Historic venue, awesome intimate environment to see a show. The sound seems better than ever and great bartender! Noe they just need a place to park my frickin car!!!
Saw Flatfoot56 and the Rumjacks. Nice intimate club. Close to the band and plenty of space to move. Drinks reasonably priced.
Intimate venue for Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers. Staff was friendly. First time in Milwaukee, would go to Shank Hall again.
Great history here. Staff alternated between very nice and helpful and rude. Very little seating for the show (Kings X) who were awesome, just standing. Sound mix was meh.
Famous for its appearance in This is Spinal Tap, Shank Hall is a bit of a dump. Pierre Bensusan played an amazing two sets of fingerstyle guitar accompanied by the purring and wheezing of an antiquated cooling system. The ceilings water damaged, the floors covered with grubby grotesque carpet, the bathrooms are consistently out of soap and towels, and the beer is expensive - $6 for a bottle of Riverwest Stein feels more like gouging than enjoying a refreshing glass of suds. But if the music is absorbing and masterful, I guess the arena matters not. Plus the folks working there arent imposing. Overall the ambience probably doesnt matter much if youre there for an act you enjoy.
After waiting in line for 45 min to get a seat up front the main event came on and 50 people came in last minute and stood in the area between the chairs and stage. Couldnt see a thing. Its only logical to put the chairs up close to the stage so all the late arrivers had to stand behind the seats so they wouldnt block views. Wont go back.
Nice little venue to see live entertainment and staff were efficient and friendly. The place had a very strong musty odor that I just couldn’t get past.
OMG....Let me start by saying, Ben and Noel Haggard put on an excellent show!!It was a cozy setting with small cocktail tables. My glass never remained empty for long. Wait staff was 5 stars themselves.Id definately go back.Photo: Noel Haggard (Merles son) and my brother, Mike Pingel, taken just outside Shank Hall.
An intimate venue, but it is a bit dingy. Its got a bit of a dive feeling to it, but that does add to the atmosphere for some performers. They are a great location for performers with small followings
A nice place to see really great musicians up close. Arrive early to get seating. Nice bartenders, affordable drink prices. A Milwaukee gem.
Saw a great show at a great place. Got there early so parking was super easy, too.
I have a ton of memories in this joint. An intimate venue that holds about 300 people. Seating can sometimes be frustrating but you can always stand by the north wall. Drink prices are fair.
Great band (Cowboy Mouth) and great venue to see a band. Good drinks too 👍
This venue is the perfect cross of intimate feel and laid back atmosphere with still the audio strength to put on an excellent show, with clean, distinct sound stages and crisp differentiation in channels.
Best sounding club in milwaukee. hands down.also, if youre catching a more low-key show and are running early, stop by one of the many east side restaurants to get take out and carry it into the club. they allow outside food. some of the best shows are made even better with a plate of indian food in front of you. :)
Fantastic venue! If you get the opportunity to see an artist you like play at this joint, DONT MISS OUT!
A great place to see a show! Local H, from Zion, IL, came to Milwaukee and jammed! The show was sold out. Its a busy venue/bar with good and thorough service.
Cozy with no bad seats and great sound. Highly recommended. Parking is tricky but we did find street parking. Seeing Brand X here was awesome.
Definitely a must to go see a concert there. And they are right theres not a bad seat in the house. Moonshine bandits were awesome.
Disappointing venue now.....including brady street and downtown Milw...Glad there was a female outside at Ana Popovic concert! Coz I was afraid on my walk downtown! What happened to Milwaukee?
Great, small venue. Audio was top notch, lighting was not. But for anyone wanting an intimate show in Milwaukee, highly recommended!
I loved the atmosphere there especially for a small and intimate concert. Great experience and would love to go again and see a show over a big arena.
Great music venue. Great bartenders, reasonably priced generous pour cocktails. No frills just great bands!!
The Show was great! The only downfall was my Brandy old Fashioned, not good at all 😞
Clean, courteous staff. Nice soundstage and atmosphere. Saw a band there called In The Flesh. Fantastic show!
The place is awesome. The staff is friendly and the drinks are strong.Ive also see some great shows here.
Great area for music. Plenty of stage area, good seating, bar is well placed towards the back. I always have a nice time here !
Picked up my tickets at the box office. The rep was so nice and no fee! Hallelujah 😊
Great place to see a band with reasonably priced drinks.
Music was great but for $40 per ticket, we didnt even get a seat anywhere and had to stand the entire time. Otherwise, I would have rated higher...
Miles Nielsen and his Rusted Hearts never disappoint. We really noticed how nice the whole experience was.
Good atmosphere for watching live music. A little steep on the drink prices if youre from out of town , but presumably normal for the area.
Great sound in this venue, when Seaside Zoo comes to town this is the spot. Beer is slightly over priced.
Awesome!! Great staff in a great venue!! Awesome band that far exceeded my expectations. BB.B. rocked every aong!
Always a good time at this venue. Friendly and fast servers. Great sounds!
A great room to hear great music. Peters doing it right - 32 years on, and the place remains true to the original concept.
Great spot to see acts in a small intimate space. Great bartenders and servers!
The Sleighriders show is a fantastic collection of many of Milwaukees best musicians. Highly recommend!
Very nice venue. The sound was great, the decor was awesome and it was very clean. Will be back for sure.
Saw Billy Cobham in this nice little intimate venue. Great show, great staff!
Awesome venue with plenty to look at. Drinks are pricey but thats to be expected at any small concert hall.
Could be a decent music venue. There was a constant humming/static sound coming from the speakers for The entire show. SAD!!!! The sound needs major work and parking is atrocious.
Terrific venue in a historic building. Acoustics arent perfect, but still a highly recommended place to see a concert.
Great sounding system, and while there is a bar, its main focus is being a venue. Ive seen some great bands here.
Been wanting to come here for awhile and finally got the chance!! Such a cool place and the staff was awesome!! Cant wait to go back soon!!
Old school night club that is cozy. The sound equipment is really good. The street parking can be tough, so arriving early helps.
Its a great, intimate venue for live music.
Love this venue! They get a lot of great acts and their drinks are strong AF.
One of the best places in Milwaukee for live music. 30+ years great performances and rich history
Great show saw local h here fun venue nice people
Classic place. Great venue for small shows.
Great service during the show, place was super clean for how old it is. Lots of history here. Good energy!
City of MKE be careful of where spend your money and time. The owner @ShankHallMke is a racist and harasser #karensgonewild
This place is history. You should go. On any given night youll see something amazing.
I really enjoyed this place....not too bug...not too small, very friendly staff, clean bathrooms...Ill be back! Saw John 5 here....watta show!
Classic mid/small sized venue with a vintage feel. Obviously a MKE staple judging by the amount of artist pictures signed on the wall.
Always great! I love playing there and love watching others perform there.
Excellent venue, sound quality is awesome. Just saw Mojo Perry Saturday May 2nd, unbelievable show!
One of the best if not the best music venues in Milwaukee.
Excellent small venue concert hall. Very intimate. Truly a one of a kind place.
Simply the best venue for up close and personal shows.
Love playing Shank Hall. Great music room and great people. Thanks for always welcoming Davina and The Vagabonds!
Great venue intimate shows always good time hassle free environment older crowd behaves
Love the smaller venue. Very much enjoyed the show.
Awesome small venue for concerts, attracts great bands and crowds.
Small venue, but what it lacks in capacity, it makes up for in acoustics. Nice location to catch lesser known artists.
First time there! Had a great time. Nice place to see live music!
Amazing sound and great atmosphere. Extremely intimate and cozy. Staff is extremely nice and fun.
Wonderful comedy show. Very funny, had a blast 😄
Small venue.I love that. Great service. I would go back again for sure.
Good sound, drink prices arent bad, music every night theyre open.
Great live band . Loved it
Love going here for a show. Great intimate venue.
First time back in many years. Good sound, great views, small bar. Good times!
Great place to go check out national music acts.
We went to see Samantha Fish. She was great, sound was great. Very intimate setting.
Think Floyd was a fantastic show. Shank Hall is a Milwaukee icon.
Fun place to see intimate concerts with reasonable drink prices during show times.
I love Shank Hall! It is small and intimate, with a real nice Milwaukee vibe.
Nice place good vibes. Everyone there nice and friendly would definitely go back for more good times
Friendly people. No bad seats. Nice bar. Great prices!
Great small intimate venue for Great music and Awesome Bands too!
Great place to watch a wide variety of musical acts at reasonable prices.
Saw a great band, parking wasnt right nearby but whatever. Venue was great.
Cool venue! Great night with Neal Morse. Very entertaining.
Awesome and historic live music venue! A treasure of Milwaukee!
Cool venue. Nice sound. Mellow atmosphere
Great music venue to see bands at, very helpful staff.
A great little spot to go to for live music. Its always a good time here!
Paid $40 for a1.25 hour show. Ridiculous! And overpriced drinks. Very expensive hour.
This place ROCKS! Miller High Life on tap and always a great view of the stage...
Uli Jon Roth ~ Metamorphosis Show Brought Tears Of Joy To My Eyes!! Love Him & Band!
Great small music venue / bar.
Classic small City night club with 60&70s feel and atmosphere.
