Hannah is absolutely THE BEST!!! She is always thorough, kind, & professional. The building & tools used are always clean, the pricing is great, & I’m always thrilled with my results.

We live in VT and arrange to come down to NJ just to visit this salon. My hair stylist Shawn was amazing this last visit. Gave me great advice and an amazing haircut that I just love! He is also super fun to talk to. Cant say enough good things - just schedule an appointment!

Had the anti-age pedicure to deal with some callouses on my feet, and Mirna was awesome! Her attention to detail was amazing, and her level patience exceeded my expectations when I was struggling with a color choice. If she was annoyed at my indecision, she did not show it- she just patiently suggested and showed me additional colors until I found the right one! This was the best pedicure I’ve had in years- worth every penny bc my feet look great!!

Went here for the first time and it was great! They also take SpaWeek gift cards, which is what I had, so I used it here. I got a manicure and a massage. Melissa really got all the knots out during the massage and left me feeling renewed! :) I’m going back for some different services soon and am already looking forward to it. Treated myself to a massage and was really looking forward to it but it was pretty disappointing, I asked to focus on upper back (spent very little time there) and to please not massage my feet, and she massaged my feet for what felt like 20 minutes straight while I just cringed. Wouldnt go back for a massage again but the staff seem very nice otherwise.

Alana took a whole hour to make me feel beautiful this morning! I enjoyed thoroughly every second of it. She concentrates completely on me…doing the extra little steps before I leave.

This was my third time having my back waxed with Olivia at Skin Deep Salon and Spa. Olivia is extremely professional at waxing and makes the experience as painless as possible.

What a wonderful facial on such a dreary rainy day! Not only relaxing, but it was therapeutic and very professional. Gianna did my facial. Very knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. I highly recommended this young lady. And I found the salon to be prestine and quite lovely.

I had a haircut appointment scheduled for earlier today that had been scheduled for several days, and came in only to be told it had been rescheduled for later in the day with a different hair stylist. I consider it extremely unprofessional to not only cancel at the last minute, but not even give me a phone call in advance to relay this information, especially given their strict cancellation policy. I will not be returning to this salon in favor of a place that treats clients with more respect.

Today I attended an event located at this salon that I didn’t know existed and is only 15 minutes away from my house. It’s safe to say I found my new go to place for all services. I got to experience a massage, facial, pedicure and a blowout and every service was incredible. It is a seamlessly operated business. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who went above and beyond on this rainy day to the point where she had her umbrella out assisting people to their cars so their blowouts stayed perfect. Although I found this place by chance with a work event this will be my new go to place for all pampered needs. It was a true luxurious, relaxing and fulfilling spa day and I can’t wait to return (I almost didn’t want to leave). Thank you all for all of your wonderful services and I am so excited to share this location so that many more can experience what I did today.

My daughter turned 7 and had asked to get her hair trimmed and blown out the day of her birthday party so we made an appointment as new clients and arrived at this beautiful salon and spa. There was a mix up and ultimately our appointment didn’t work out. The owner of the salon, Susan, immediately called me, even though we are new clients and made it up to us. Stuff happens, but the responsiveness and customer care demonstrates a commitment to excellence. We look forward to going back for our next appointment! It is the nicest salon and spa I have seen in the area.

Vee was fantastic and I had an incredible prenatal massage.

Went in for their signature scalp treatment. Robert was very courteous and made it a relaxing experiment. Before starting, he explained what he was going to do. They also got me a cup of tea. The first part itself is about 10-15 minutes when he massages the scalp with different products, then you sit for about 10 minutes with your hair wrapped, and the treatment ends with a wash. There is a hair dryer in the back you can use if you would like to dry your hair.When I went to pay at the end, the price was more than what was listed on their website by $10 or about 28%. I asked the front desk about it and they said their prices had changed and they weren’t sure what website I was looking at as they said their site was updated. I showed them that it was indeed their site. The lady then changed her tone and acknowledged it.I may give the salon another try but if you make an appointment, I would reconfirm prices with them on the phone if you saw it in the website. Overall though the treatment was fine, I found it to be a bit expensive for what it was.

I have been going to Skin Deep every four weeks since February, 2023, for facials with Kimberly. I alternate each month between the Platinum Hydrafacial MD and the Gua Sha Facial. Both of these treatments are amazing and I can see an improvement in my skin. There has been a reduction in my fine lines and my face seems more toned and hydrated. In addition, both of these facials are extremely luxurious and deeply relaxing. Kimberly is also very gentle and very professional. I highly recommend these treatments and Kimberly. You will not be disappointed!

I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! It leaves your skin “baby smooth” no bumps or raised hair follicles like the traditional waxing does.It’s a beautiful facility with an attentive and friendly staff attending to all your needs. 🌻

Geri D’Amato is a true artist with hair color, cuts, blowouts - in addition to reviving hair and making hair look and feel thick and shiny. She is incredibly talented, and always seems to know exactly what a client is asking for. This is not just coming from me, but also for any family members and guests who i brought with me to have their hair done on visits. Many have said if they lived in the area, they would have left their salons. I am truly lucky to be close. Geri is amazing .

EDIT: I recently wrote a review of Skin Deep Salon after an experience with one of the hair stylists. The owner contacted me directly within a matter of hours to rectify the situation, so I am writing to amend my original post. I received a haircut and style that I was displeased with, but the owner, Susan, set me up with a different stylist that very day to ensure that the cut and style could be corrected for me. The stylist, Sue, patiently listened to my concerns and made sure to address each of them as she re-cut my hair. I was very pleased with the final result, and the blowout was absolutely perfect - exactly what I was hoping for. Sue was very skilled, professional, and pleasant, and I had a very positive experience with her. I am very impressed with the owner’s quick response to the situation and desire to ensure that I had a cut that I would be happy with. I really appreciate this level of care and dedication to the clients, and I will definitely happily return for future services.***I really wanted to love this place after reading glowing reviews and based on its cleanliness and beautiful aesthetic. I am new to the area and decided to give this salon a try after receiving a complementary cut/style, manicure, and facial. I opted out of the facial, and the manicure was lovely (shout out to Margo - she gave me a beautiful manicure and was so sweet and professional), so this review is purely based on the cut/style.There were several issues that made this a very unpleasant and awkward experience for me. Firstly, the stylist cut WAY more length than I asked her to. I asked for about 2-3 inches off the longest layer, and my longest layer wound up being about 5-6 inches shorter than it was prior. Next, my stylist mentioned the state of my hair many times, telling me that my hair (which I maintain meticulously) was dry and brittle and broken and that my scalp was flaking and dehydrated. Okay - fine. I appreciate the advice, which I think was well-intentioned, and the honesty. She then proceeded to comb it so aggressively that my neck was whipped backwards several times and many pieces of hair were ripped out; this continued throughout the entire haircut and blow dry, to the point that I had to ask her to please be a bit more gentle. You would think that someone with such “brittle and broken” hair would be handled with a bit more care. Then we got to the blow dry: we were totally not on the same page at all. I asked her to please give it a bit of wave/under curl at the ends (which I assume is standard for a blowout). She replied with “Okay, so you don’t want it poker straight,” which I assumed meant that she knew what I had in mind. She then proceeded to “scrunch” my hair. When I stopped her to inquire, she became frustrated with me, so rather than create further upset, I simply told her to blow dry it as she normally would (which was, apparently “poker straight”). She then cut even MORE hair once it was dry. Finally, she finished cutting, and I asked if she would then be styling it, because I genuinely didn’t think it was finished. Her answer was that she didn’t have enough time, and that it was my fault for not telling the receptionists that I needed more time for her to style. Keep in mind that the welcome wagon letter says “Cut and STYLE.” She also told me that my nail technician had been waiting for me and that I was running late, as if I had any say in the world about how long she took to cut and style my hair. I showed up on time, if not a bit early, to my appointment. Lastly, and most importantly, the haircut was uneven - the hair on one side of my head is almost 2 inches shorter than the other side - and the blowout was not to my satisfaction.

Received the gift of a facial from my daughter...wow, what an experience. Kimberly took great care of me. and made me feel like a queen, while giving me solid advise on how to better care for my skin.After that, Libby gave me my first haircut in 6 years, other than a trim. She listened to what I wanted and the maintenance I was willing to do and gave me the perfect haircut. I look and feel better and younger than when I walked in! Thanks to both of you, as well as the amazing girl that shampooed my hair.A great place to relax and pamper yourself! I am now paying the gift forward and taking my mother for some well deserved pampering!

I had the BEST facial last night, done by Karina. It was luxurious, relaxing and pampering and I cant wait to get another one. I have been going to Skin Deep for almost 3 years now and I love everyone that I deal with there. I also really like the Babor products they use.I highly recommend trying this salon out, you wont be disappointed.

After years with one stylist, who retired, I struggled to find someone who could do my hair the way I like it. Libby does just that. No muss, no fuss, just a great haircut.

Had a fantastic experience. Booked a 60 minute massage and I felt beyond relaxed. It was a intensely therapeutic experience. Angelica was super nice and accommodating during the whole process.

Jessica pre-natal massage was awesome! will definitely return for this service.one week later I also had a Gel polish manicure and pedicure but the manicure lasted not even 3 days, what a shame! it never happened before. I decided to get a gel manicure to have my nails in order at least for a couple of weeks but it lasted less then standard polish, not sure if product used was old or if the employee who applied it did not do a good job. But I will not return for such services for sure (they are quite expensive respect any other place I have been to, I expected results to be sublime)!

They are really good and very profession. I went for some highlight and they did better than the look that I showed my stylish. Also, the recommended me some hair treatments for my hair and my hair looks amazing. I received many compliments about my new look. They got really good snacks and teas. My kind of place for pampering I totally recommend this place.

This was a splurge for me, but now I’m trying to figure out how to make it part of my routine. My facial with Olivia was really that good. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and professional. She took the time to educate me on my skin and helped me find a great routine with the Babour products. I can still see a difference in my face weeks after my facial. It’s clear she knows what’s she’s doing and she‘s good at it. Thank you Olivia! I will definitely be back to Skin Deep.

I will not go anywhere else for my nails! I was getting so tired of my manicure chipping or salons using dirty tools, but at Skin Deep everything is always so clean and the polishes always look new! Never any half-empty, discolored bottles or the stuff I was used to finding anywhere else I went. The girls are professional and I always look forward to my appointments so much!

I have been going to Skin Deep Spa for about 3 years now. They do a great business and are always busy. I attribute their success to great service. The front staff personnel greet you with a smile. They always offer you something to drink and my hair always looks great. I see Libby for my hair and Kim for my facials. I highly recommend this spa.

My husband booked a spa package for me as a birthday present. We are new to the area and I hadnt heard of Skin Deep, but checked out the website prior to my appointment and was impressed by the services offered. The package included an express facial, 30 minute massage and manicure (just what I needed!). The services were great and the staff that looked after me were fabulous - very personable, informative and professional.I am looking forward to my next visit!!!

My wife and I love this place, not just because its chill with engaging and professional staff, but because its close and there is easy parking (cant argue with that).I was last there about 2 weeks ago, for deep tissue massage on a back that was teetering on the verge of going into spasm. Amanda did an amazing job of stabilizing the offending muscle (really deep) and gave me great advice on how to get right in there to extend the therapy at home and really chase it away.:)

Ive been coming here for over 20 years. Every service has been great. Today I had an Ayurvedic facial with Mamta. It was amazing. My skin was absolutely glowing. The energy throughout the session was peaceful that I felt very rested and restored by the time it ended. The oils that Mamta used on my skin felt very luxurious. Everyone should try this facial and experience Mamtas energy.

I had 3 services with 3 individuals. All were professional and personable. They all ensured I was comfortable and offered drinks. They responded to my requests and I left very happy with my services and will definitely use in the future

Skin Deep Salon and Spa has been my Go To place for as long as I can remember. If youre as picky about your hair as I am, you will definitely find their people to listen closely to you and give you a cut that will make you smile. I know, it sounds like a commercial, but its true. Totally professional, great environment. They even make the coffee the way I like.

Heidi did my updo during the summer for a family wedding which was pushed up during a Covid. I chose the salon because I felt very comfortable with the Covid procedures in place and it fit my budget requirements. It was then when I met Heidi - she understood my concerns and how upset I was with my hair color at the time done by another salon. Fast forward to my birthday week. I decided to book an appointment for hair color/cut. She did an amazing job with my hair styling and color. She made my color look subtle and complementary to my South Asian skin tone. She really hit it out of the park. I am thrilled and she made me feel beautiful. After being in the area for 8 years, I’ve finally found my hair angel!

The day after, while at work, a client said to me, Did you get a facial or something? Your skin looks great! I was so excited, I said, I did, Im so excited that you noticed! Its working.

I am new to the area and was looking for an eyebrow threading salon. I went twice and had 2 different people. The second time I loved the shape but both times when I checked out the consultants charged me different amounts. On the website and all of their materials eye brow threading is quoted at $15. The first time I was told it was $20 and then the second time was told $22. I told them everywhere says $15 and they honored the $15. I am devastated that I can not trust the consultants because they did a great job but a $7 difference...I understand its only $7 but that adds up very quickly and I felt like they were running a scam.

I got my first facial there and it was amazing. So relaxing and I could see a difference as soon as I came out cannot wait to go back again. The staff is so lovely and the atmosphere is divine.

I went in for eyebrow tinting - left with lopsided color tinting. I literally had to go home and scrub it off. I had it done at a different place in a different state before and had a great experience. The technician there carefully shaped the brow to fit the structure of my face - the result was awesome. I dont have a lot of hair, so the tint made me look like I had a fuller and well shaped brow. I had asked the tech here if she was shaping it, as I could tell there was no precision in her application. She said yes - when I saw the result, it was messy and one brow was thicker than the other. I would not recommend this place for eyebrow tinting.

This only pertains to massage. I went in with back pain expecting a deep tissue massage. I specifically requested relief to the tightness I had, but, I left feeling worse, and did not receive the care I needed or asked for.
