Zach is the man. Today he made my wife and I feel like longtime customers despite it being our first visit. He gladly showed us around while retrieving everything we needed. Its a Great Smoke Shop. Just like the one I spent many hours in when I was younger. Thanks. See you guys again soon.

As soon as you walk in the shop, theres beautiful glassware and dope apparel! They have bucket hats, drug rugs, leather jackets, and some pretty dresses! The staff is definitely the best part!! Dj helped us and he had amazing energy! He was funny, helpful, and kept it real! Definitely will be coming back and would definitely recommend to anyone!! They will take good care of you!😁 There is a lot to look at, so definitely give it a shot!✨️

Great shop! The staff was awesome and so nice! The store is really nice and had good prices. There is a good variety of products. I wish that we lived closer. We will be visiting Amsterdam Life any time that we are close enough to stop by. By far, this was the coolest shop that we found on the island!

Tyler was really nice and friendly, but the next day when I went back, he was not there. The lady with long brown hair was there and seemed bothered / annoyed that I even asked her a question. Created a bad vibe / experience. 5 stars to Tyler.

Girl with long brown hair and tattoos was pretty rude. She just seemed like she would’ve rather continued scrolling on her phone than helping customers in the store. I’ve noticed this the last few times I’ve seen her working and it’s a let down in service.

Aaron did a great job helping me today. He was patient, answered all my questions and had a very positive attitude!

Great shop and staff! Except the guy from Maryland with face tattoos that was rude and condescending to me and my girlfriend, gave me a hard time about my ID, and wouldn’t acknowledge we entered the store because he was too busy talking to other customers about how much better “his stuff” was than the shop’s product!

This shop has so much cool stuff and is so laid back.. as soon as you walk in the atmosphere is so friendly and it’s like all the workers are your friends you’ve known for years. they have such a large selection of vapes, cbd items, glass pieces, and more. Tyler, DJ, and Zach are always chill and make sure I get what I want, Tyler’s even gotten to where he’ll pick me something out if I can’t decide what kind of vape I want (cause let’s be honest we all have times where we have no idea what we want 😅) Highly recommend this place to any vacationers or locals.

Seems like a nice clean store with plenty of product. Nice selection of mods and glass and if youre in a pinch and at the beach and need something sure it works. But definitely Beach tourist prices. Product I can get 20 to 30 minutes inside Wilmington for 20-30 dollars less. They sell plenty of jars of gummies however it doesnt appear that they sell individual gummies from their wide selection. They did have individual packs of gummies that I bought that were duds and the guy promised me his product was good.

I love Amsterdam Life! My favorite smoke shop in Oak Island! Lots of great glass to choose from. The staff is usually very knowledgeable and friendly, but the guy from Maryland with face tattoos ignored us waiting for assistance. He condescendingly told me “This is a bong head 🤨” when I asked for a bowl piece for a water pipe, like he assumed I didn’t know. He didn’t know the difference between the different sizes of the “bong heads” when I asked. He called me impatient (twice), I told him I’m a teacher, and he responded “I’m a drug dealer.” Honestly was the only bad experience I’ve had here. Shoutout to the rest of the staff! The other guy sucked though!

I’m a local to Long Beach and love stopping in AmLife a couple times a week. Tyler has always taken care of me and sees to it that my favs are in stock. Zach is always a smiling and friendly face and I love hanging out for a few and chatting with him and Tyler when I can. The girls are great, too, and I hate I can’t recall all their names. I always feel welcome and it’s fun to just browse around and see what new, crazy things show up. They have a really good variety and a lot of cool items. I saw a review someone wrote saying the people seemed high and unhelpful and that’s just untrue. If you meet the awesome people at this store and don’t have a good experience; I’d say it’s a you problem and not them because I’ve never had a bad visit. Y’all go check them out and and enjoy yourselves…this is a great spot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

DJ waited and talked to us. He also educated us on some things. He was so nice and chill. He showed us different items and told us the differences and pros and cons on items. Def will be back.

I had an awesome experience at this fully packed store. I walked in and was immediately helped by Zach, who had just finished up with another happy customer. They carried the Vapetasia Salts e-juice that I can barely find in stores, they had 2 different ohm pods for the XROS 3 vape I have (another tough one for me to find normally), and the whole store is stocked to the brim with all sorts of stuff to make you grin. They have a nice selection of thcA flower and vapes I also recommend you check out 😉 Any question you may have, they are quick with an answer. I dealt with Zach and can speak highly of his customer service!Companies struggle these days to find employees that actually treat customers with kindness and respect. Any good ones you come across, always be sure to let them know how much it means!

Wonderful people. Knowledgeable. Judgment free. Has EVERYTHING.Updated review from 5 stars to 4 because the store never seems to be open when I come by. This store loses at least an extra $100 a month when I have to go elsewhere. Please follow your own posted hours. If not at least update them.

Awesome place! Prices were fair and there was so much supplies. The two guys in there were so knowledgeable and welcoming, I wish every smoke shop was like this when you walked in.

Havent had any issues with this location. Clean, friendly employees, a lot of variety. Highly recommend if visiting or live in the area. Hours do change during colder months. Summer is really busy with visitors vacationing.

I was driving by and saw the store, so i stopped by. I walked in, and the lady ignored me while she continued to talk on the phone for 5 minutes. I have never been there before - but when I asked her where something was she pointed without saying anything to me. Finally, once I was finished checking out she said to me “I don’t know why you people wait for the last minute to come into the store and buy things”. It was 9:30, and the hours stated they closed at 10. I was only passing through, so I only saw this store the one time I needed to shop here. She was so rude! I wish I could’ve changed my mind, but it was too late. I always give the benefit of the doubt, but she didn’t seem at all interested in helping me. I will never go back because of her. It’s worth driving down the road to a better store.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Incredibly rude, literally no customer service. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes, ready to purchase. The only staff “working” did not even look at me, and carried on with other customers, chatting as though there was no one else in the store. I will absolutely not be back.

Went last night and had a great experience, I would definitely recommend going! Huge selection of items, there was so much to look at. The lady who helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered all of our questions. Hopefully they will carry Giraffe Nuts Caramels soon! 🍬

I’ve been going here since we moved to OKI and it’s been great. Just when to buy my normal stuff and the price went up $10 since last week 70% increase. They said no one was buying the more expensive stuff so they just made them all the same price 🤯 So they aren’t paying more for it they are just charging us more. Shady business practice. I’ll be shopping else where unfortunately.

Great place to get quality vaping products. They have a good selection of tshirts and novelty items. The store is clean and organized with an overall good vibe. The staff is what makes it though. They are so helpful and polite every time I visit.

Cool store. Idk how they stay in business here but im glad they do. Its sort of a cliche looking store, but they always seem friendly. It is NC so what do you expect. They have a nice selection of glass pipes and bongs and other misc paraphernalia, and novelties. Overall good experience.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING PRODUCTS FROM THIS STORE.We have had multiple situations around town of products not lasting longer than 24hours. This store has a history with fake knock-off products.Stay clear from this store, there is a much better one a few minutes up the road.

Um.... all the employees seem to be high and unhelpful. Secondly, the prices are ridiculous here. Not sure if its an Island thing.... but the prices for certain things are way too high. Not a great environment, and store seems unorganized in their layout.

This place would be great if it would stay open it’s advertised times. They do have a large selection, but the last two times we have come back around 7 the place has been closed. When we stopped in the other day we were told they’d be open til 8 or 9 that night, and they were closed way earlier than that. We want to spend money with them, but it’s hard to when they’re not opened when they’re supposed to be.Edit: We were also told they’d be open on Thanksgiving, and they are not. Very frustrating since we’ve been trying to go back and buy stuff since Monday evening.

Best place to buy anything head shop related. Best Vape shop on the east coast. I flew in from Ohio just to come here lol they had what I wanted and at a great price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is definitely the place you want to go if your looking for anything from Kratom to any type of CBD products. Very wide selection and great prices. Ive been going there for well over a year and the one time I did get a bad product, the owner gave me another free and there was no hassle. I love this place!

I bought cbd gummies for a lot of money from you guys and they tasted delicious! But I found them elsewhere for a larger dosage and a lot less money. if you guys can find something more reasonably priced Ill be back to buy some. Im sure they are more pure but I also need to be able to afford them.

The lady that my wife and I really seemed to know her stuff. (Im sorry, cant remember her name.) But, I have gone back and checked on what she told us AND, it was all legit. Was great talking to her. My wife is bone on bone with her knees. I have CRPS in legs and aurtheritis from base of skull to tailbone. So you know we hurt! I am a Disabled Desert Stroke Veteran. I do use the VA system. A year and a half ago I was taking 150mg of Morphine a day. A year and a half ago the VA pulled my Morphine, COLD TURKEY!As far as my wife the doctors will not replace her knees. They say that she is too young.IT IS CRAZY! I WISH THAT WE FOUND AMSTERDAM LIFE SOONER!Thank you all that work at that store.Disable Veteran, Edward..

Just a waste of time they hype of some of these products sell them and I got sold a 1 gram cart that’s supposed to be disposable but it dies before it runs out didn’t come with a charger and they don’t even tell you that it might need charged
