Love the music and the people are nice. It is a great place to be yourself and have fun. The shows ate amazing and are really easy to get moving to. The place keeps you on edge on always has something unexpected. The food is good and it isnt much to get in. I love the place and have made a habit of going every Friday if possible. It is funky and cool and the best place to hang, straight or not.
This all-ages dance and performance venue has been the heart of the 39th Street gayborhood for 40 years. Once considered seedy and dangerous, the wreck room has seen a huge revival. This is now where to go see New Drag. Be warned; this is not RuPaul. These kids are on to something entirely else. The performances are raw and real.Sound system is still killer. The building still needs work. But its a warmer place now, with a 14-20 youth group meeting there on Thursdays (free, open to all lgbtq+ under-20s). And theres a kind-of posh lounge now.
It was terrible. If you like hip hop or r&b (twerk music) dont go here. The dj sucked. Wasnt worth $5 at all more like a $1. So disappointed.
Love the wreckroom. Has so many memories and all the Queens are fabulous. The weekend shows are the best and Jakkay is everything ♡♡♡
Good place for underage kids to hangout since they cant do much else around here. But as an older person, the place sorta bored me...or Im just too old for it.
Cool place with excellent performers!Clean, alcohol- and smoke-free.
Amazing hosts hot crowds and a DJ that will move your feet
Maybe cool if your gay or underage!
$5 cover, no booze? Bye.
A fun time..good show
Great dance club!
