Best nightclub in Philly! Amazing, intimate venue. Awesome talent from both international and local DJs. Everyone is friendly and provides for excellent experience, including the bartenders, bar-backs, hosts, and a special shoutout to the best security team in the city!

A light crowd, but a good night regardless. Pulled us from the back of the line of what was going to be a long wait, and right through to begin our 🌃.

I love the atmosphere & I especially love the security. I was walking towards the packed bar with my girl friends, while waiting in line, a guy came up behind me & before I could say anything...security took him out. I felt SO safe.I just wished that my drink wasnt so watered down & the music needs to change. We only stayed there for 45mins because the music wasnt great at all. (We went on a Sunday)

I come here occasionally and find my self to have a good time with friends everyone I go. However, I always have difficulty getting in even though I always come in with a guest list. The bouncers and security guards seem to have a high preference for women, which is fine since many bouncers are like that but that doesnt mean that they should treat every male guest terribly. It is never a smooth process. Other than that, I recommend it for a good night out to dance.

Great time, good music, exciting atmosphere. Still needs a few changes to be better. First, you cant allow people to smoke cigarettes inside when everyone is drinking. A lot of people I went with starting feeling nauseous and wanted to leave because we were in a cloud of cigarette smoke all night. Second, they should have drink specials earlier in the night to encourage people to go before 1am. I got there at 11:30 only to realize that it was me and 4 other people.

Good average club. Usually 20$ to enter... there are some normal people in there... but a lot of weirdos go there too.. youll see what I mean when you go. Lol. Excellent music with a few different rooms with different vibes. Great for a girls night or party of some kind.

The website said cant under dress but we saw people with jeans and sneakers in the club, no cover charge and for 2 drinks medium glasses $32 the long islands were watered down BS. The crowd seemed 18 and over not 21. It was too over crowded and so NOT upscale. I have been to better.

This place has a really nice atmosphere, its a bit pricey with a $20 admission fee. The djs are usually good, and its always been a nice crowd, but there are usually a few douchebags but thats normal. The bouncers are pretty nice and the environment is very inviting. Its definitely worth trying out.

Probably one of the more upscale night clubs in the city, a usual Friday night might find some really good EDM headliners. Dress you best and get VIP in the vault. Its a good atmosphere. It can be noticeably small once you figure out the layout. There are essentially two areas for music and 4 bars.

Worse place to go. First, theres no parking how you charge $20 to enter but dont have a parking place. Secondly, the girl at the coat check was very disrespectful. They charge $2 for coat check but give us the wrong change and place the money on the table with an attitude. My friends were very respectful and told her she was being rude. The girl started being rude to me and my friends. Seeing that she was being disrespectful the security guard came over and started disrespecting us too. We asked to speak with a manager he acted like he was the manager and started putting his hands on my friend. As we asked for our money back because we didnt entere the he said no. Finally when we spoke to the manager he politely give our money back. This place is trash. Very disrespectful people. Never again.

My cousin & I got kicked out of this club and I can personally confirm the bouncers were the chillest guys. We most likely deserved it & the bouncers went about it in the nicest way. Our experience was awesome and the establishment was top notch. 10/10 would get bounced from here again.

Read good reviews about this place so I thought I would give it a try. I came all the from Texas, and spent my Halloween festivity here. I purchased the open bar ticket, and was so excited to try this out. Only reason why I’m giving it 2 stars is because of the nice manager who took care of our situation. I had a terrible experience with the bartender for the open bar service. She ignored me the whole time when I was standing right in front of her, I waited 15 mins and never got my drink. She purposely waited until midnight so I wouldn’t be able to get anymore of my drinks. I made a comment to my friend and said she’s being rude and all of sudden, I wasn’t invisible anymore. She threatened to kick me out. Lol so if you’re going to purchase the open-bar ticket, expect rude bartenders!

Went on Saturday night. $20 to get in. At the door, the black haired girl taking the money is very rude. I pay for myself to get in. Then I ask my bf next to me if I should pay for him but he says he will pay himself. This door girl is obviously incredibly intoxicated, says to my bf, Did you just say this b**** is dumb? He says no, that he was going to pay. I was so taken aback by this, otherwise I would have gotten my money back right there. This encounter ruined the whole experience in Rumor. I have been to clubs in NY and Vegas, never have I encountered such a disgusting experience. Also, this place is NOT very upscale as it claims. People inside wear sweats and t shirts. The crowd is definitely more immature and everyone seems to be in their early 20s. In addition, NOT LGBT friendly it seems. Terrible experience!!!

Worst club experience of my life. Went for Halloween weekend and everyone except the one female bouncer had an attitude. The male that was letting people in cursed out someone walking in for being too slow. After we got in we were greeted by some angry lady who yelled 30 dollars! with no explanation. We had already bought tickets and showed them to get in, so we were confused why she was yelling at us with an attitude before we could even open our mouths. We were the only ones standing there at the time so it wasnt because she felt rushed or pressured. The guy who ran the coat check looked at us like we were retarded any time we asked him a question. The bartenders were okay. One of security touched my inappropriately while trying to move someone else out the way. Pretty sure the event was supposed to have 2 different djs playing at the event in different spaces, but I guess that didnt happen, since no one knew what I was talking about when I asked.Will NOT be going back and highly recommend others to stay away as well.

Cool venue drinks are pricy and the sound system is meh. Crowd can be hit or miss. Also the VIP section on the floor is poorly laid out. Move it to the other side so theres more room to dance

! Bad Service they offer an entrance ticket with drinks included until midnight ! Do not purchase they push you to the corner of the bar and have to make a line of about 30 people because they only have 1 area and 1 bartender even if the other bartenders arent doing anything they will not help you with an attitudeThe place itself is not bad but a night club with bad service makes it a bad experience

Very good nightlife spot in the heart of Philadelphia. You have 3 dance floor. The crowd was good. I had to pay a entry fee of $20 pp without any cover though we were a couple, so I think its a bit on higher side. There are no parking here, so you have to park somewhere and pay a parking fee. There is a parking spot just opposite of this club but it is really costly, I suggest going a bit further to find a cheap parking spot. We enjoyed our time here but it would have been better if they provided us some cover wirh our entry.

We bought VIP bottle service and my girlfriends and I went there intending to have a good time. My boyfriend and I were met with extreme homophobia. The bouncers claimed men were not allowed to use the stripper pole regardless of how much money we paid for a table at the club. They sent a clear message that members of the LGBT community were not welcome at Rumor. We were extremely embarrassed in front of our friends and our experience was extremely negative as a result. For a city where brotherly love is the expectation we definitely did not feel welcome at Rumor. We were extremely disappointed and will not be coming back again.

Do not go here. Sat night, midnight. Was told it’s packed. Went downstairs, and came back up within 30 seconds to get the cover back... no refunds. This place is dead. Used to be good years ago. Now, it seems like they’re just scamming for money until the place can no longer exist. Stay away. For those who are curious to see what it’s like inside, please, save $20 at the door and go get a cheesesteak.

Been there twice... Ughhhh.. Everything from overpriced alcohol to dirty floor to creepy uncles makes me cringe when I hear this name. The entry is Cash only and is an exorbitant 20 bucks just to realize that they have run out of coat space and youre gonna have to carry your coat around in a difficult to breathe in packed place, so forget dancing. Never going again...

Great place! I love it here and always have a good time. Yes the cover is expensive, but the trick is to buy the $30 something package (cover and open bar). That way you have unlimited drinks to get you turnt.

Some of the rudest and flat out mean bouncers and security guards i have ever encountered and been disrespected by in my life. The bouncer outside didn’t believe my friends and i were on the guest list i said we were on and i had to go in my email and prove it to him where he then told me that only i could get in, not my friends. Next when it was settled we went inside where the bouncer on the one side of the VIP section approached my friend to let us into the VIP section but when we went to who he said to speak with, the pathetic excuse of a man laughed in our faces and refused to let us in. Disgusting environment and run by complete misogynistic jerks on a power trip who treat the women who come into their club to spend money as if theyre dirt. Do not recommend.

Great spot went with a group of 20 to the VIP section. One thing I didnt like was you couldnt sit inside the VIP section. Unless you bought bottle service. Which made nonsense when we all was buying drinks.

One of my favorite dance clubs. If you don’t like the DJ in the main floor, you can go to the second floor. They play good music. Just stay away from buying drinks because it’s very expensive.

Last year I went to in Halloween, and it was fantastic, this year I go there, and the the bouncers ( that are a idiot kind of people) but in this case the guys at Rumor’s door don’t have the minimum idea what is working at a disco door.I came from Europe.... Amsterdam, Ibiza , England and other discos all over Europe including festivals like boom in Portugal, that completely solved the problem of this kind of persons that only have “ power at a disco door” and 1 hour to get in the club?!?!????..... this is unacceptable to a house like RumorAt the end of the night I ask to this “ bouncers gentleman” to smoke a cigarette with my wife, and the gentleman told me I can go out for a smoke, and when we finished the cigarette (that we smoke in front of the door), we ask to come in again and the bouncer said no because my wife is drunk... who the f***** is this guy to tell my wife is drunk!?!?!?!??, 2 drinks we take inside... this is like 20 years ago in Europe.Maybe Rumor have to find a new staff at the door this guys is the worst I’ve seen in the last years of nightlife!!!!!!!

I kept finding different rooms the more I looked...some inside themed areas like a vault, etc... the bartenders were scantily clad, if theyre hot no need to be THAT revealing... distasteful but at least they are good looking and nice... line gets long quickly so show up early or make a res with the promo coordinator for group ratea...solid events and dance floors.

A nice upmarket bar/club for young professionals. I visited on a Wednesday evening and enjoyed local beer and selected cocktails at discount prices. No cover charge

Wonderful club atmosphere that caters more to the VIP club lifestyle. Includes a very fun layout with mirrored walls and neon lights throughout the the club. Definitely a place to stop while clubbing in Philadelphia.

Im a trance fanboy. Rumor always has trance artists play. They have open bar and the bartenders make good drinks. The drinks are a bit pricey but its fine.

It was nice, but thats really all I can say about it. Very crowded to music was loud like really loud barely heard the actual song it was just base and rattling. Probably wouldnt go there again though.

Nice place. Good music. Drinks OK. Two pineapple and vodkas (bottom shelf) 17 bucks. In small glasses. Blah!

First time here was last Saturday for us. All the staff was super friendly, no snooty vibes in sight. GREAT music and AMAZING drinks.

Wondering why this place hasnt changed security after reading reviews I am the concierge at a 4 Diamond hotel in the area and I am constantly recommending this place but after reading the reviews and seeing a pattern in their treatment of guests I refuse to recommend Rumor again, there has to be a standard when clubbing in CC #getyourshittogether

Nice club with a few different rooms. Good music. The security guard was trying to push up on my butch gf. Other than that nice staff.

Okay club bottle packages were a little high and depending on what dj they have depending how the mood goes but i did like the open bar for 30$ which made my night much bettrr

Its a club! Your night is in the hand of the DJ. Lately Sucky DJs have been showing up and ruin the night. Overall a nice chill spot and drinks are for decent price.

This place is terrible. Nothing but a glorified basement with a shoestring budget design. Their claim to fame is the bank vault door, which was obviously there before this pathetic establishment existed.

We went for a celebration and its an awesome place for that.Drinks were well served spacious lighting effect was awesome.Though i felt music was bit off but but we enjoyed a lot .

Service staff was disrespectful. That also forgot to return our ID when we left. We also had bottle service, which made me even more upset. They also do not pick up telephone calls or return calls....so dont bother trying.

Ok I had the worst night ever at this club one girl that I seen looking my direction I kept looking back and I being some what shy takes me a little bit to get up the nerve to ask someone to dance but before I could ask the next thing I know I am being escorted out of the club because she said I made her uncomfortable didnt do anything wrong and yet I get told to leave and I can garrentee it was the worst 20 I spent to go out for a night

It’s a beautiful club but the staff is very rude. There are more clubs nearby that are much cheaper & have a better atmosphere.

Its loud and crowded without enough bartenders to get a drink quickly. Did see Joel Embiid there though which was cool.
