I visited Hy Asia Massage before my wedding and had an great experience. Leading up to the big day, I was dealing with intense muscle pain. The therapist used a variety of techniques to effectively unknot and relieve my muscles, which made a significant difference. The level of care and professionalism was outstanding, and I felt truly rejuvenated afterward. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of a therapeutic and relaxing massage.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and I love it. The price is completely reasonable and I’ve had the best massages I’ve ever had here. I will say it’s more “hole in the wall” vibes as opposed to cushy salon experience, but that doesn’t bother me. It feels more approachable if anything. When it’s busy, you can hear customers coming in or out since it’s a (thick) curtain instead of a door for the rooms, but that’s also not the end of the world for me. I’ve never felt like my privacy was compromised.I’ve come back so many times because the massages are so good, I swear they all have magic hands. As long as I live in the city, I’ll be a loyal customer !

Excellent massage, traditional chinese style. i am a massage therapist myself, so I have high standards for massage. the therapist i worked with did an excellent job. they have bars installed on the ceiling for back walking also.

Hands down this was the best massage I have ever had. I was treated kindly, the atmosphere was warm welcoming and clean, and overall it was a 6/5 experience. Hy Asia Massage now has a new loyal costumer:)

It was my first time to come here and I had a great massage experience. I felt very relaxed afterwards and the foot reflexology was an amazing touch. I would advise you call before coming to make an appointment or ask if someone is available because its a smaller place. It is very cozy environment and clean also.

Great way to start our date night with a couples massage. We left here feeling relaxed, fresh and ready for the rest of the evening.I tried having my back walked on for the first time. I was skeptical buti t felt amazing! My wife had a traditional massage and she loved hers as well.

Incredible 90 minute deep tissue massage! Great price, very clean massage room and fresh linens. Kept offering a thumbs up to acknowledge the acceptable pressure (Cindy didn’t want to put too much pressure, but thats exactly what I needed). Threw in a couple of hot stones, which was unexpectedly comforting.

Hands down the BEST massage in Philly! Tess really knows what she is doing! I initially brought a friend who was suffering from back pain by chance. The next day after a one-hour massage by Tess, the friend’s back pain disappeared! Now I’m going to Tess weekly to treat my foot injury. After only 2 treatments, I can already feel the difference!!! The space is clean and Tess is super friendly and yet professional. She does wonders. Absolutely recommend this place!!!!

On a scale of 0-10 with 10 being the best, Ill give it a 2! The lady was really soft! She didnt ask about the pressure & Im not a small guy! Rubbed the same spot over & over! She also answered the phobe twice while giving me the massage. I wont be going back.

Hy Asia is an excellent massage parlor with affordable rates. As someone with chronic pain and spinal issues, they have been lifesavers when it comes to managing my condition. I’ve even come in with an active migraine and left the parlor feeling back to normal! I love how they incorporate reflexology into their massages. They’ve also been able accommodate same-day and last minute massage requests. The environment is nothing fancy but it is clean and cozy! They are healers and masters of their craft!!

This place is incredible. Great price, nice people, and a fantastic massage. It’s our go-to spot while we’ve been training for the philly half marathon.We do a couples massage in the same room. $60 per person for an hour, from head to toe. We’ll be coming back indefinitely.

This was the best massage Ive ever gotten. My body was so tight and my sciatica had flared up from working so much. This massage helped my whole body get relaxed. She knew exactly the right points to hit and exactly how much pressure to give. I will definitely be back.

Went with a friend for a lovely massage. The masseuse used hot towels and stones for a varied experience which I enjoyed. Soft relaxing music played and service was very professional. My friend and I were in separate rooms and they did a great job syncing our services up so we started and finished simultaneously. The price was also very reasonable for the quality provided!

Only con is that she couldn’t tell me how much the massage was when we were done. (Might’ve been the language barrier but didn’t see a sign with prices either). I saw on another review that they paid around $70 so I just pulled out some cash and she counted out the amount to take….it’s good for the price and was able to walk in.

Do yourself a favor and go see Tess at Hy Asia!!! She does the most magical massage. The combination of deep tissue and relaxation are magnificent and not always easy to come by. She does an excellent job of working your muscles in a way that’s not painful but incredibly effective and deep tissue. I would give her 100 stars if I could!

Highly recommend! I traveled to Pennsylvania last week. I have the lower back pain and sore leg muscles. The masseuse was highly skilled and knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns and preferences before beginning the massage. The pressure was just right and the techniques used were both soothing and effective. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing. I booked another appointment the day after. After these two massages, my back pain relieved a lot. She also gave me lots of useful advice. I wish I live in Pennsylvania and could get massages there more often.

I was in a lot of pain after driving 12 hours thanks to a canceled flight. I called ahead and was able to get in the same day for a 90 minute massage. I got a great massage with lots of different modalities: hot stones, pressure points, reflexology / acupressure. Definitely worth stopping by! I was nervous about going to a walk-ins place on South Street, but it’s clean, professional, and therapeutic. Not sketchy at all. This was my first time but won’t be my last.

This place sucks. I had an appointment at 4pm today. I went and the front desk lady kept reminding me that I have to tip. As I was paying for the service she kept telling me 3x about tipping. At that point, i was so annoyed, then I asked her why you keep asking me I have to tip? If the service is good I’ll tip. If you do terrible, why would someone tip?? Tip is not mandatory!She keep saying $60 is for the house and I gotta pay tip. I didn’t even get the massage yet lol. Then she denied me service after driving in this cold weather to go to the appointment.Absolutely disgusting establishment. Thank god I didn’t give them my business. This isn’t the American way. You won’t survive with that attitude here!Definitely lost a client as I get massages 1-2x a month.

They don’t take walk ins and the lady that came to the door had a whole attitude yelling I need to make an appointment, the door was locked, I thought they was closed for a sec but unfortunately their not, they’re just unwelcoming I was over it I can’t stand small businesses like this that aren’t professional and doesn’t guide you about their business because how am I supposed to know if they don’t have any signs saying to book online or through the phone

This is my go to massage spot. She does an excellent job identifying and addressing knots and takes great pride in providing high quality massage grounded in Chinese acupressure techniques. Excellent massage and great value.

I was in Philadelphia to attend a Braves game. I have had many massages throughout my life and Im very common with a good massage. There was a misunderstanding that I will say was more than likely due to a slight communications barrier. It was easily resolved. I ended up getting a 2-hour massage from a lady who was very skilled and massage technique. Her pressure was strong and she was able to work out several knots that I had. If you are in the area I would strongly recommend visiting.

Tess is great! My back was tight, and she walked on it from my tailbone up to my shoulders and gave me great pressure. She then used soothing oil on my back, arms, and hands, and she also used hot stones. The hot stones felt wonderful. Excellent. Lastly she gave me a lower leg and foot massage, and I fell asleep. It was wonderfully relaxing. She is a very nice person.This is not the place for sexual massages if that is what you are looking for. Just had an amazing massage from Tess. I’m Goldilocks when it comes to pressure - too little pressure and it’s like I could just do this at home, too much pressure it feels like the masseuse is going to cause some permanent damage. Tess expertly applied the right amount of pressure to get the knots out and gave extra attention to my problem areas, ie tailbone - prob from too much couch sitting watching Buffy. It was affordable and l also appreciated the private rooms, not like the places separated by curtains making you extra wary of your surroundings. I will be back again and again.

Not sure why this place has the ratings it has. Tried to call in hours before closing one day and asked when next available slots were. She asked when we could come in, so gave a range of times and we were told “no availability today” -so why ask then? Tried to come in person and were turned away (without getting appointments) and told come back another day. Tried to call just now and the lady (which I assume is the owner) hung up right away after asking if they had anything for today. This place is a joke. Go elsewhere.

After exercising both of my arms had pain. My grandfather took me to his friend who owns this massage parlor, she was able to use her knowledge in Acupoint and work out my knots. The parlor is sanitary, had calming music, reliving and relaxing massage that relieves the points of pain. I would truly recommend anyone that has pain anywhere in their body to come here to relieve it.

After shopping & walking around the city all day or when I have lower back menstrual cramps, I come to this place. Its no frills, clean & no extra charges. I felt safe with the COVID precautions they have in place. They deliver consistent pressure to my liking & I can feel my adhesions/tension melt away.

Called to see if she took walk-ins. Said to make appointment. Called and made an appointment 24 hours before arriving in Philly for 7:00 the next day. Went there and she said she was busy, I said I have an appointment, but she said I must have made it somewhere else. I showed her the telephone number I called, she said sorry, Im busy
