Drinks are excellent and its so much fun feeling like youre stepping into your own studio 54! However, it can be hit or miss depending on the DJ:/ Some refuse to play disco music that people know and want to dance to:( I remember requesting You Make Me Feel by Sylvester or I Feel Love by Donna Summer and they never have it lol. But when the music is right this place is on fire!
Happened upon this place and it felt like being transported to a better version of the past. The bouncer and bartenders were so friendly,m and it was such a unique, relaxed atmosphere. Really fun to dance in the back room while watching the go go dancers (loved that there were male and female), and the DJ spinning vinyl was 👌👌.
Super fun place to go out and dance to DJs spinning vinyl. Atmosphere was nice, nostalgic and safe feeling. Music was a blast from the past. Awesome whiskey sours to have made with fresh egg
Stumbled upon this place on a nice Thursday night on our walk home and heard great music and revelry coming from inside this dimly lit gem. Im definitely going to bring friends here to go dancing and hang! Its got a local neighborhood relaxed feel, folks and staff are friendly, theres a fantastic DJ playing Motown 60s and Disco/funk 70s music that was amazing, beautiful and fun Go-Go dancers that kept us all on the dance floor and a surprising mix of ages (20 somethings to 60+ just dancing and having a great time into the wee hours of the morning). I cannot recommend this place more!! It had an infectious positive energy 🫶🏼
Very interesting place. We found this while looking for a cocktail bar in the area. Although in no way what I would consider a cocktail bar, it was a cool place to hang and dance if you’re into that type of thing. Decent bar lineup with an okay drink selection. Our mended specialty cocktails rated a 3 of 5 at best but other than that, very cool place. Hard to justify the $10 cover per person. That alone is why I would never go back.
The music and dancers were excellent but that’s where my positive thoughts on this place end. Paid the ten dollar cover to spend 20 minutes waiting at the bar being completely ignored by the bartenders who were serving people who had just walked up. Overcrowded, overrated, understaffed. Maybe stop letting people in at the door if you can’t accommodate them? I’ve worked in the service industry and I understand how busy Saturday nights can be but this was horrible. Finished my very expensive drink and left with my friends who had similar experiences. I am visiting Philly and this is the only place where I’ve had bad service all week. Fully don’t bother.
Well, used to frequent this spot regularly, but never again. My husband took me out for my birthday and the staff here forced him to separate from me. He waits at the bar for TWO entire hours to get me a drink and the staff refuse to acknowledge him standing there. I was appalled, they made us feel like absolute garbage. As we were departing, I did have a good chat (HENCE THE 1 STAR) with security who let me know the staff is known for ignoring and picking and choosing who theyd like to serve. Let me break something down, you serve drinks.. youre not doing rocket science. Lets come off our high horse.
I had a delicious whiskey sour and enjoyed an interesting selection of retro music. The service was nice and the bars ambiance was authentic, old style and cool.
What an incredibly cool place. I visited while in town for a few days and found great conversation here with a guy who used to work at The Trestle and a current bartender. The drinks were excellently made with great happy hour pricing, and we came back later for dancing in a great atmosphere. Fun place with great theming. Highly recommend.
We had a blast with our group of friends and neighbors at the Trestle Inn - the music was great and the beverages and overa vibe were on point. We adored the dancers, and we danced our rumps off!
The Trestle Inn should be on the list of Hidden Philly Must See places. Literally tucked under a trestle bridge it’s almost the kind of place that you can’t find unless you’ve been there before. But it is well worth the search. The Trestle Inn is a Whiskey Bar / 1970’s Burlesque GoGo / Dance Club. We visited the Saturday night before Halloween and the joint was jumping with a raucous, yet friendly and well behaved crowd! The bar is well appointed & staffed, the unisex bathrooms are clean and well lit. The entire place was decorated for Halloween. I’m looking forward to my next visit to see how it normally looks. The Trestle Inn is a great find you should add it to your list.Update: In response to the the Owner - I DID try the signature classic Whiskey Sour. When I saw the bartender crack a raw egg into a shaker I said, Giddieup, I need one of those!. It was delicious!TheBillo313
Cool spot with go-go dancers in an inconspicuous area. Gives off a disco vibe. The bar as a whole is small so it can get crowded and we had to wait awhile for drinks. They could use more people behind the bar during busier nights. Also had to pay a cover. Overall, fun experience!
What a fun place to hang out! Just stepping into this place makes me feel cooler, and not like a 31 year old home-body 🤗The gogo dancers are always on-point, and they add a unique element. We never had to wait at the bar too long and the staff is friendly. It gets a little loud in here; so it’s not the best place to hang and talk with friends, but the weekends are poppin and their room towards the back is for showing your dance moves. I love the perpetual red glow and the edgy ambiance, and I agree with former reviewers that I wish there were more bathrooms.
I’m not a huge whiskey fan but the whisky sour here is a MUST. It’s so delicious and well priced.
We went there 1.6.24: awesome vinyl disco set with a great vibe of fellow denizens. Importantly there was ample room to dance and it wasn’t overly crowded, which is critical for busting a groove. Drinks were standard fare, and acceptable. Ultimately, we truly digged the community vibe.
Im convinced 70% of these reviews must be fake, as I had the worst experience at this bar. In concept it should be a good time, vinyl, live music, go go dancers, 5 star dinning cocktail prices... Thats where it takes a turn down, never been to a dive bar with such expensive drinks. Also had an ridiculously off putting experience with a manager named Jess or Josie or something, wish I remembered. Moral of the story, find another dive bar.
Was just up for walking on the Railroad Park with my buddy Jojo and we decided to check out the Trestle Inn ( i havent been there in a long time) and we happened to walk in on David Bowie Night ( 6 to 9 pm) PLace was packed and full of good vibes , my only trouble was the bar staff was mixing sophisticated drinks so they had a hard time just getting me a simple BEER! The line for drinks was like a scene out of BAR RESCUE!! Other than that the David Bowie show/DJ was fantastic! The people were all enjoying themselves overall and the bar staff was trying their hardest but the flow of people just kept coming in to the Trestle Inn flooding the dance floor , nice to see people still LOVE David Bowie!!!
The Trestle Inn is charming in all the best ways.Unfortunately, however, I went last night (11/16/23) for drinks and dancing and has the worst experience with the bartender. Ive worked in the service industry and I know that everyone has their bad days, but this was outstandingly bad. I ordered a cocktail from the menu and a seltzer for my partner. The cocktail was made very sloppily and spilled on the bar when it was handed to me. The bartender also forgot my partners beverage and started serving other customers. When it came time to close my tab it appears that the bartender put my drinks on someone elses tab. When I got my tab I was charged for three drinks instead of just the two, and none of the drinks on the receipt were mine. The bartender got a little surly with me and got the manager involved... which felt excessive as I was just trying to explain that I was given the wrong tab.Overall, I am excited to go back for dancing. I hope that there is a new bartender or that the bartender is having a better day. The drink was tasty, but hard to justify paying $21+ for a hastily-made cocktail and club soda.
This is one of the coolest places I’ve been to. Daniel the manager is very nice. The go go girl is fine as ever. OMG! The one set back. The drinks too damn expensive. $18 for an old fashion that turned into $22. They play 60’s-70’s music. The best days Thursdays, Fridays. Wednesday was slow but I still enjoyed my visit. I had the rosemary popcorn. Try it. Very good. Yes I’ll visit again but I’ll liquor it up first to save money on drinks. Beer $9.
Seriously one of the best places in Philly. You will do insane, glorious things here, and they will stay with you.
Love to go-go dancers and the music they play. Great place to go if youre trying to get away from the standard music/night out. They have a huge selection of whiskey and other hard liquors!
This place is clearly a labor of love for the people that make this party happen every weekend. I dont know anywhere else around where people get so into the spirit when the dance floor gets going. The go-go dancers really help people let loose and not be self-conscious, and the cocktails are first rate. Interesting DJs, and I always end up shazaming at least one new track.Usually gets poppin around 1030, but I like to go earlier to sip a cocktail, get into the mood, and meet some people while its less packed. Happy hour is a great deal if you can make that.
Dreamy club. I *love *to dance so I appreciated how clearly excited the crowd was for that and the great vibes- the love of dance for its own sake feels like a rarity. The go go dancer helped with that- I loved their on theme outfit and the staffs outfits too. Really good cocktails. ***Shockingly**** clean bathroom even when I used it at 11pm. Cool and beautiful environment, retro but warm. Fun but pretty respectful crowd. I will be back and soon, I can’t believe I live so close to such a great spot
Awesome awesome spot. Live right down the street and stop by for an occasional whiskey sour (amazing) and to people watch. Looks like a dive from the outside, inside somehow manages to be warm and edgy at the same time. Great tunes and crowd. Love the two room setup with the dance floor in the back, my only suggestion would be to turn the music down in the front room so you can actually have a conversation.
This place is the best if youre looking for funky music and a nice dance floor! I have no clue why they advertise their classic whiskey sour like a signature drink when its not even their best cocktail, but they have plenty of other more interesting and better-made drinks on the menu too. Dancing is a blast, the DJs are fantastic, just use your judgement on the drinks.
The Trestle Inn is a small, nicely appointed bar just north of Chinatown with one distinctive attribute: it is a go-go bar with an absolute bangin dance floor and DJ situation. My most recent Trestle experience was to celebrate the impending nuptials of a good friend. We rented out a table and had delicious popcorn service, then danced all night. The go-go dancers love to rile the crowd up, the cocktails are great (and so is the beer) and the staff is very friendly. Consider the Trestle Inn for your next night out.
We really enjoyed the music and vibe at the Trestle Inn, the go go dancers were amazing and created a fun atmosphere on the dance floor. The drinks were also made very well but I do have to share that I felt quite uncomfortable by one of comments made by the bartender. I was waiting by the bar to order drinks for several of my friends and was trying to keep the order open on my phone so I remember everyones drink choices. I was worried about getting it all correct for my friends, perhaps that anxiety was visible on my face. The bartender instead made me feel more self-conscious by saying that my body language was aggressive and that I had to chill. I was honestly quite taken aback by that. We had no problem waiting and none of my friends had made comments about the wait time, so that comment about my body language was unnecessary and frankly uncalled for. Later on, another non-white friend had a similar unpleasant experience with the same bartender. Others commented on how the bartender seemed to be engaging in friendlier and longer conservations with individuals who were white. Overall, we had a really good night and I look forward to being back at the Trestle Inn!
I love this establishment! The go go dancers are so unique and the vibes/dancing is always a blast. Unfortunately, the most recent bartender (not sure of her name) that I came in contact with was extremely rude and nasty, causing my experience to be somewhat negative. I will be back, but I hope she was just having an off night.
Waited 40 minutes to get the special charity cocktail for their benefit night. Finally get to the bar (event is still going on) and now the cocktail is 16 dollars? I’m done with this place, just go to a real dive that won’t hose you. Plenty of longtime good ones in town that this place copycats
Great place with awesome music, ambiance, staff, and the dancers are all very talented and kind. They are open pretty late which is fun and a welcome change of pace.
Such a neat place! There were a couple of gogo dancers on stage, which was a lot of fun. Also, this is where I had my very first whiskey sour. It felt like a cheers to Rocky drinking his glass of a million raw eggs 🍻
Great happy hour deals and overall great cocktails especially if youre a whiskey sour fan. Fun night time vibes too with gogo dancers on weekends.
I dont think Ive ever had such a phenomenal time as a Saturday evening here. The dancing was fantastic with an excellent (and groovy) song selection. The two go go dancers really energized the place and set the mood. Bartender were nice and drinks were reasonably priced. All in all one of the best bars Ive visited.
Love the atmosphere and the bartenders. If you want a fantastic cocktail, this is the place to go. Dont let the exterior of the place fool you, its so nice inside! The dance parties on weekends are super fun, and the $5 cover is cheaper than a lot of places- just make sure you have cash, theres no ATM inside. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the crowd can get a tiny bit annoying at times, but if you go with a couple friends and ignore everyone else, youll have a blast.
I first went to this bar years ago before a concert at Underground Arts and after that fateful trip, its become the spot for me to have a few cocktails prior to events nearby. Everytime Im here the drinks are spectacular and the atmosphere is chill. Every bartender thats ever served me is an actual bartender, not just someone who operates taps and sometimes adds a shot to soda. This place is legit. A true gem.
Very friendly and quick service, considering they had a fully occupied bar. Their Happy Hour deals are great; I highly recommend the whiskey sours. Will be going back again for sure!
DJ Hardbargain was the greatest, not a single dud played all night. Girls were beautiful and could dance all night. I made sure to tip them all the lunch money mama gave me. Drinks were super strong, newbie bartender has a heavy pour. My friends all said they had a memorable night and would go back. Ill be back, for sure, with more friends.
This was a fun hangout with friends! After a mild struggle, we learned the door sticks and required a good push to enter. Vaccination cards were checked at the door, and it turns out we were in time for happy hour. I tried a strong but zesty citrusy drink. Our bartender made a few mistakes, but overall the experience was fun and great. The place is dimly lit, so keep that in mind if you have trouble seeing in dim lighting.
I love the old timey feel and go go dancers! This bar is unlike any other in the area and it’s always a good time out!
Went for a dance night and was overwhelmed from the onset. Bouncer was very rude to the woman I went with, then, inside (even though they were doing crowd control out front) bar was significantly over packed. Bartender was nice, but because of the size of the crowd, took almost 20 minutes to take our drink order. Place is really hit or miss. When Ive gone once before on a week night, environment is chill and unique.
Stopped by for quick drinks, pink panther whiskey sour and cathouse punch. Servers were attentive and you can tell they know their stuff. Drinks were delicious!
My first time ever here was a hit. I came with friends after karaoke in Chinatown for some dancing and authentic whiskey sours. I was not disappointed. I didnt know what to expect, so when I saw the go-go dancers in their 1950s attire, I was taken aback. The music and drinks were amazing! I will definitely return with more people.
Super cool bar. Looks like a total dive from the outside, but when you step in you are reverted back to an 80s disco party. Excellent craft drinks and atmosphere. They also have Go-go dancers and movies playing against the wall which is an interesting touch. Definitely recommend.
This place is always a good time. Tucked away on a quiet corner just outside Chinatown, its a quintessential philly dive bar with a great whiskey selection and decent craft beer options as well! The weekends are busy with go-go dancers setting the tone for the music and a nice sized intimate dance floor. Occasionally they charge $5 cover on weekends, but either way you wont regret it. Get the whiskey sour and dance!
Easily one of the best spots in the city to cut up the rug. Live DJ playing great disco/funk tunes, and the gogo dancers are always a treat!
Great music and dancing. Ran in from the rain and felt like I time traveled to a 70s go go bar. The dancers are talented, the drinks are strong, and the vibes are immaculate.
Best cocktails in the city. Whiskey sours excellent. And an intimate dance floor with top notch DJs spinning vinyl and go go dancers.
What an invaluable experience. Stumbles upon that beat up black door, and just had to check it out. Great staff. Loved the video on the wall, and the dance room. Drinks were strong and very reasonable prices. Awesome scene. Love it.
First time at this place for a celebration of David Bowie and Oh! What a night! Very large space with high ceilings and plenty of room to Lets Dance. 💃 An excellent production by the staff at this place. Friendly bartenders, great people I met here! A shoutout to the six young women that are Halloran alumni. Thank you ladies for the dancing good vibe and classy looks!!! They had a DJ spinning Bowie vinyl albums and the cutest sweetest n hot go-go dancer you would ever want to meet. My friend n I had a wonderful time and will be soon. We hope to see you January 2021 for another Bowie celebration.
Bartnder the (female )very nasty and rude she need to work on her attitude. Plus she was was touching the ice with her bear hands and put in it in my drinks so gross 🤮 me and my friends come here 5/6/2023 around 10:30 to have good time she ruined our night train your bartender or get someone good with people will never come back here because of your nasty bartnder it’s sad bc the dancer she was nice and beautiful even the Scuirty but the Bartander she’s trash
If you like a good cocktail, and you like dancing, go somewhere else.Theres already enough people here enjoying themselves on this cozy dancefloor, watching the go go girls(not strippers) do their thing on weekend dance parties, while the plentiful staff round the bar keeps everyone happy with some of the better drinks to be had in Philly. If you have to wait, it wont be for long, and, itll be worth it.
Happy hour on a Friday is nearly perfect if your timing is right. Will visit here in the future for outstanding drink specials and atmosphere.
With their limited operating hours it tends to be super packed, but its always a party.Even if you have to wait 20 minutes for a whiskey sour, itll probably be the best you ever had.
Went for happy hour as $6 Jameson. Was charged full price. Pointed it out to the bartender, who had been kind and attentive until then. Bartender reported theyd refund me for the one drink, or get me another to fill the drink I was charged for and then get me one on the house. I got the two drinks, which I was charged for. Clearly not okay, especially considering I was charged full price for them, not the happy hour price. I couldnt flag down a bartender to point it out. Its a bummer I had to watch my card so carefully and even when I did it didnt matter. Skip this place and head elsewhere .
This is a gem of a dive bar around Eraserhood under the train line. I think they have go-go dancers in the evening but did not when I was there earlier in the evening. They have screens with dancers earlier. There is also a cover charge later at night. I recommend trying the whiskey sours which were nice.
So I came here on a Friday night, and was expecting this small bar-lounge at the corner of a shady street to not be that packed; I was absolutely right!! It wasnt packed, and we came here to grab a quick bite. From the outside looking at the bar, it seemed decent. This place offers a very nice selection of whiskies, since it is a whiskey bar. As for the food, its a different story. The menu was pretty small, and didnt have much. I had the Trestle meatloaf, which sounded filling, with a side of cesar salad. My friends had the pot pie with a house salad and another meatloaf with picked veggies on the side. The sandwichs ingredients were pretty average, but the meatloaf itself and the ketchup they put on it gave the sandwich the push it needed that made it great. The side salads werent that good, but the pickled veggies were definitely something to try! The pot pie was pretty good, too, but was rather small. I would definitely come to this place just for the drinks they had, since they have special draft beers and the prices were nice. The service was average. There was only one server, and he didnt come back as often as I would have liked. The environment was also shady. Looking around from the inside, I can tell the bartender and the customers were friendly among themselves, but the location of this bar made it uncomfortable. It is right by a broken-down bridge that I passing through, and everything around the building was broken down and worn. Because of this, I didnt feel entirely safe the whole time I was there. The inside of the restaurant was really, really dark as well, and gave it an ominous feeling, which was perpetuated by the fact that its faded/torn/ripped wallpaper coming from the walls.Pros: Great Whiskey Selection! Not Crazy CrowdedCons: Decor, Environment
Gets REALLY crowded on weekend nights. Having dancers on pedestals is fun, but sometimes they dont look like theyre having fun. Good beer options, but very few cheap beer options. So be prepared to spend a lot if you want to drink a lot.
Update to an earlier review: I was initially in love with Trestle due to its unique vibe. However, showed up last night to entertain some out-of-town friends. Very disappointing service, considering an already unnecessary $5 cover in an area with no other bars/restaurants. Note to the management: don’t train new staff/break-in new bartenders on a busy weekend. Totally ignored by three bartenders for upwards of 20 minutes. Fix this quickly or you’ll start losing loyal customers.
First place! Bartender made our nite!Come to birthplace of America—> Wife’s BDAY. Someone recommended this place and boy it did not disappoint. If your at the bar-find the girl with red hair. So fun to watch I don’t know how these people entertain like that! She’s terrific! Might be the best service I had in a bar. Last 5 years without a doubt! On top! Everyone in our group was so impressed. She kept us nicely dedicated to our glasses:::BOOOOOOZE:::: and it’s was so fun. I wanna say huge props to this girl! My wife had so much fun and we ended the nite on the best note! The have old school disco dancers! It’s so fun! They dance on pedestals in frickin great retro skirts and I was like okay! I’m gettin with it! We danced and danced and danced so much so had to get late check out. The music is great!Prices are reasonable but we are from New York. So not sure for regular folk. Not that spot anyway. The place just has a vibe. It’s intimate yet really busy in there. Crowd seemed chill and nice. I was dancing with everyone! Coming back when we visit again! Now that’s a promise!Ask the bartender for her own creations. She walked us through the menu. Super good attitude and a smile. Had some yuck moment with bartenders at a club downtown. We had a blaze experience there and needed something different. She made us a few of her own drinks and dayyyuum so good! Bottom line is it’s good AF!People get down and movin so dance up! Get me in a fun costume and let me get up there. Scary cuz I asked someone too! LMAO!Ouch!Point is we didn’t want the nite to end and unfortunately it did. Girl with bright hair gets a raise cuz our nite was MADE and so fun. Get your drinks and dance. Coming back and seeing this place again. Great service! Awesome ambience and bartenders fun something crazy! That dancefloor is Fiiiiiiireeee!Bonus round: dancers high fived is all which was particularly great. My way is so happy with her BDAY i think i don’t need to worry about throwing my socks everywhere now! Sweethearts! Thanks wait is it an INN too? Now that’d be crazy!
Amazing bar. Drinks start at $4 for a yuengling, and go up. Usually a $5 cover on the weekends, but its worth it imo. Theres a dancing area and gogo dancers in the corners of the rooms. They usually play funk or jazz, which is some of my favorite music to which to dance.
More drink and food options would be appreciated. The popcorn is delish, though! (Edited thanks to response.)The inside space is great and the outside tables are a nice touch, especially as an option to eat food offerings from other local establishments since outside food is not welcome inside.I attended a viewing party in the back room, and would love to see more events like that in this setting.
Bartenders are really not good. You might be waiting 5-10 minutes looking like youre ready to order a drink and they just ignore you, which is really weird because you would think they would be super enthusiastic to take your money. Also, for a go-go girl dance bar, the dancers really arent that good.
Best dancing in the city...if you got it
Me and my boyfriend fell in love with this place the minute we walked in . Every drink that we ordered was beyond our expectations and service couldn’t be better. Highly recommend!
The Black Power Sour is really worth the visit. And yes there are go go dancers and black and white movies projected on the wall...really I would say save the cover charge and come on a week night. Itll be quiet but you can drink your delicious Sour...go dance at Silk City
Paid 5$ per person for the 3 of us around 11pm Saturday. Good vibe. Horrible bartenders. 3 of them and waited 20 min sitting at bar seats and didn’t even get an acknowledgement. Live in NYC for 12 years and never seen this. Seen way busier bars and more attention. Trust me... was not being impatient. Maybe just an off night.
Trestle is ok. We were able to get into trestle after some people left. There was also a cover. The bar area and the dance floor were not too crowded and there are hooks for coats. The dancers are good but there isnt a stage, there are only two blocks for them to stand on so its not much of a production.
Only down side is that there is a cover but if you dont have it there is no ATM to pull out cash. It results in you having to walk four blocks to find the closest one which can be off putting
I went to Temple recently for a friends birthday, and I had an awesome time! Kevin Velotta was the host that set up our table, and I fully recommend hitting him up! Overall, this is a great venue with two floors. Deducting a star because it was a little crowded.
Awesome whisky bar/gogo bar. A lot of fun every time whether you are there for happy hour to get a REAL Whisky Sour and take in the amazing scenery around you in the heavily themed prohibition bar or if you are there for some late night dancing!
One of our favorite bars in the city. A really fun bar to dance to disco/funk music and enjoy good cocktails at. Really good whiskey sours made to order with fresh eggs whites.
Great bar to go dance at. On certain nights there are gogo dancers which adds a cool vibe. The whiskey selection is really good but prices are slightly high.
A unique experience... Great ambience and an absolutely wonderful whiskey sour.. The adequate happy hour goes on for quite a while. Unfortunately, there were no go go dancers while I was there on a Friday night. Hrmph
Loved this place. Cool bar. Great music. Great drinks. And the stage dancers were awesome. Really added something to my night. Cant wait to go back..
Basically the sexiest place in philly.no radio music or top 50s at all, super dancey. you better strap on some tight fitting clothes and come dance your ass off.Great drinks as well, ask for a traditional whiskey sour which they make with an egg white and be prepared to taste heaven.
Great little hole in the wall to either pregame a dinner when theyre running their happy hour specials. Or a great place to go after dinner to see the gogo dancers and again grab ok one of their tasty cocktails.
Really cool atmosphere with a lot going on in a tight space. Good drinks and go-go dancers. Youll feel like you own the pace if you show up with 8 people out more.
Fun bar! The bartenders are all awesome. Take care of them and theyll take care of you. They do fun themed nights. Great dance floor area too.
My favorite place for a night out! 🪩🕺Great atmosphere, amazing dancers, and the best drinks!
Really cool place with the go go dancers in gold. Music was good. The downsides were the cover charge ( I think $10) and the tremendous wait for a drink at the bar
A modern day Studio 54 In Philadelphia. You’ll be dancing on the disco scene to hits and obscure gems from the 70s and 80s along with authentic go-go dancers. It’s a spot for the grown and sexy.
Love dancing at the Trestle! If you like funk and a more retro vibe, this is absolutely a spot to check out. Generally there is a $5 cover, then get ready to boogie the night away!
Whiskey bar with good happy hour pricing. Great and helpful bartenders. Fun disco music to dance to in the backroom. Good times to be had.
Loved the ambience and drink selection. A lot of thought went into their menu and I would return solely based on the well crafted cocktails. Great place for a fun night out.
Stopped by on my way to see paul weller at union transfer (which is right around the corner).the food was pretty good for a bar. price wasnt bad. music was awesome. had a blast. loved this place. going back soon.
Super fun whiskey/cocktail bar with go go dancers. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely going back to try more cocktails
Great music and dancing. You cant pass up the happy hour drink deals either, the cocktails are delicious.
This former genuine scary dive bar has successfully transitioned into trendy faux dive bar. Go-Go dancers featured and an interesting selection of beer and liquor. This is a classic Eraserhood watering hole.
As i was roaming the computer generated streets of philly, i came across a dishevled, yet intruiging establishment named the trestle inn. It was tucked in the corner like a crack den mixed with a 5 star restaurant. Intriguing was saying the least. As i applied pressure to the outside door to try and experience this fine place, i was turned away because i didnt have the proper items in my inventory. Nowhere on their website does it say you have to bring boss loot to the shop.
The music played here on the night I went resonated with my soul. I definitely shouldve been born in the late 50s so I couldve enjoyed the 70s as I was meant to. Go here and have a great time!
The bartenders were really nice and they were very quick with service. Definitely will be returning!
Delicious and affordable food and drinks for happy hour at the bar
Couldnt get in. Went on NYE and stood in line for 20 minutes. They couldnt let more than 49 ppl in the venue because of the fire exits. This is something they shouldve handled before NYE or told ppl about online. I will never go back again because of how unprofessional this experience was.
Best music. Great drinks. SO fun to dance at!! Whats more to love? Also, get their rosemary popcorn. Youll thank me later.
Great hidden tavern, low light and great owner/stuff
Was very nervous on the walk there.... Felt like the back streets in a Batman movie!! But really glad I went …. Friendly staff and customers, and their Whiskey Sour is amazing
Erin you are amazing mixologist. talk about a pain killer. we had such a great time. the environment was definitely a blast from the past. i felt comfortably time warped into an era ive never known. Good times.
Most fun time in philly. Also, the bartenders are quick and helpful even when it’s loud and crowded!
Love this place! Looks run down on the outside, but really nice bar inside. Lots of creative cocktails. When in the are a must stop in.
Great bar and great dancing. Went with a bachelorette party and had so much fun! $5 cover on Saturday nights.
I love this place because of their extensive whiskey selection, as well as their intimate, yet comfortable atmosphere. P.S. Go-go dancers!
One of the better happy hour and whiskey sours in the area.Looks remote and far away but its a great lowkey spot to listen to funk music and have some drinks
I had a fun experience. Absolutely the best whiskey sour cocktails in Philly. However the restroom was really poor....
The bartenders were really nice and sociable and made great drinks. Loved the 80s theme and go-go dancers.
This bar is like something out of a David Lynch movie. Decent bartenders, cheap drinks (during happy hour) and that vegan popcorn! Service can be a bit slow.
Funk!Love that you can bring your drinks outside. Not many places in this (neighbor)hood that you can do that.$19 for a Whiskey Sour & Rum and Coke
Amazing drinks at awesome prices 😎! Had a blast: visited on 70s theme night, had an unforgettable memory 💯
Fantastic spot with great drinks and fun music and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting!
Could not have had more fun. Your staff is top notch, very nice and professional. We were there on Disco Night, such a great vibe.
Throwback place with cool style and decor. Go-go dancer in corner is phenomenal. Great beer selection!
For a long time I questioned whether this place was abandoned or not. It is not. Its a cool little bar with some really good drinks and dancing.
Do you want to go to a bar and dance? Do you want to go to a bar with an edge to it like a streetrat that came into some $$? Expensive cocktails and under the tracks vibe. It’s a ripped shirt, but a nice one
Trestle was a delight for senses! Great to drink or meet people and watch a pyschotronic movie. It is was a lot of fun and thats not just the alcohol talking.
Bartender was overly rude...no reason to tell me to f-off after I say hello, especially when its not that busy. Not even a line/crowd. For BETTER service go elsewhere.
I didnt stay but they were super nice and let me use the bathroom. I plan on going back to get a drink or two. Bartender seemed cool.
Great beer list, great bartenders. Whenever Ive been there its been early and empty, but I assume the crowd and the entertainment are great too.
It may look like a dive from the outside, but inside youll find a great atmosphere, an excellent whiskey list, and surprising array of cocktails.
Young people of the world unite. There has never been a better time to be young and trestle inn is where you wanna go!! You have an eclectic crowd. And beautiful energy.
Dance your face off... drinks are 🔥!!!! Bartenders are all awesome !!!!
They dont let you bring bags inside, unless its a purse.
Dont be fooled by the exterior! Place is killer inside with an amazing selection of whiskey.
Great cocktails. Always a fun dance party on Fri & Sat; DJs are great and creative.
Absolutely loved it. Went on the 80s night, loved the setup, dancers and the crowd. Reasonably priced beers as well.
Great craft beers, funky beats, and go-go dancers. Perfect space to dance with your group of friends.
About as good a bar as you’ll find the city.Go, now, and often.Personally, I’d rather wait for a drink at 10:30 at a busy bar then walk into an empty one..
Definitely get a whiskey cocktail and be ready to dance!!
Amazing atmosphere, you might wait for a drink, but it’s completely worth it. This is an amazing local bar!
One of my favorite bars hands down. Great dancing too! A philly treasure.
Great place ,especially for dancing and drinks. Definitely will return the bartenders and the staff are A++
Awesome music and atmosphere, bar staff was terrible. Aaron gives the people of Philly a bad name. He needs to go...
Love this place but wish the drinks werent so expensive. Great dancers great music great bartenders
Apparently I’ve never had a real whiskey sour until coming here. Highly recommended!
A great place a pre game spot for whiskey and Bourbon drinkers, very chill vibes and a good time for sure
Hip, friendly and fantastic bartenders with a retro go-go vibe. Love Thursday nights vinyl DJ.
Genuine Go Go Bar that distances itself so far from its more modern counterpart, the strip club, that you would think you have been thrown back in time to a simpler era.
This place is so much fun, great bar and wonderful dancers. Thr owner is a complete sweetheart.
This place needs a big dusty binder. Not sure whats in the binder. But its there..and its dustyEdit: still needs a dusty binder
Best whiskey sours I have had in a long time!
Really good whiskey sours. Great spot for private events. Good service and had a good time.
Cool retro cocktail lounge. Best whiskey sours ever. Great bartenders and vibe !!
Gave it another try...better bartenders (+2 stars). HOWEVER now they want a cover at the door???? LOL no thanks (-1 star).UPDATED.
Good cocktails and great atmosphere. Go-Go dancers are cool.
Good drinks, great service, outstanding djs, go go performers, and dance space.
Fantastic drinks (get the whiskey sour if youre confused on what to get), beautiful and fun dancers, cool people. Go shake a leg.
Great drinks, long waits for them. The dancers are fun, the security less so.
Awesome place. Extra props for the gogo dancers after 10.
Enjoyed another great night of dancing and drinking. The gogo dancers are a great touch!
I absolutely love this place.Such good food, such good drinks.Probably the best place to hangout.
Hidden gem. Awsome whiskey selection, great craft cocktails, and uniqe craft beer
Great place. Awesome staff, strong drinks. Probably the best past in the city.
Awesome vibe on a Saturday night. Appropriately priced drinks and gogo dancers on stage in the back.
Never going again. Had to wait forever to get a drink at the bar, very crowded and hot. $5 cover
Interesting little hipster bar that specializes in Whiskey Sours of all things. Would check out again, just not soon.
Still requiring a a vaccine card after the mask mandate was lifted. Good to know where not to spend your money.
First visit to a gogo bar. the whisky sour drinks are highly recommended. Will go back with friends again
Working on their exit apparently so the capacity was like 40 people. Wasnt gonna wait outside for that. Try again when theyre done with construction.
Had a great time here when visiting Philly. The Disco themed Saturday night was fantastic
Great atmosphere low prices best DJs slate play vinyl and have go-go dancers
Great little corner bar, friendly & fun bartenders. Great 70s vibe.
Amazing sours. Should you go there? Not sure. I dont know you came your preferences. Thanks for asking tho.
Amazing drinks, great music, and a wonderful ambiance. What more could you ask for?
Food all looked great although I didnt have any. Excellent drinks and beer selection.
Love the Trestle for its great beer selection and awesome atmosphere. Cant wait to make it back!
Dark hole in the wall with good drinks, great music and a relatively unpretentious crowd.
Best hidden gem in Philly. Hipster go-go dancers are awesome!!
Big disappointment... Drinks we only so so... And no dancers on stage. Music waay too loud for no dancers.
Atmosphere is always amazing at the Trestle. Dont be fooled by the outside.
Super cool whiskey bar. Dancing, drinks, go go dancers. Def something different.
Had fun here. But it was hard to move around this small place
Always a great spot to dance the night away! Love it here.
Such a good time! Whiskey sours are incredible!
Go-Go Dancers, Great Whiskey selection, Cocktails are amazing.
A very interesting bar with great drinks and fun people watching opportunities.
Cool cocktails, location, and the popcorn’s a great cheap option to soak things up.
Good drinks and got dancers, its really popular with students
The music wasnt the best, the go-go dancer wasnt great but the drink prices are decent.
The drinks are so so, but i absolutely love the dancing!
Great hip atmosphere. Nice beer and whiskey selection.
Great whiskey bar with a large selection of drinks and special popcorn😜
Great drinks, dancing, and service! Loved it!
Whiskey sours, classic movie projected on loop & go-go dancers, a perfect dive!
Pretty cool place to chill and drink before a show.
Small, close-knit bar serving great whiskey cocktails
Very fun place to go when you are in the mood to dance.
I love it there! Such a great atmosphere!
Seedy fun gogo bar. Great for drinking in the front and bustin a move in the back
I really did enjoy being there with my Family, and the people there was wonderful.
Whisky bar and cant even make an old fashioned??? The bartender Aaron needs to be replaced.
