Amazing experience seeing Darude for 4/20. Intimate club but feels deluxe. Reasonably priced drinks although unfortunately no ready-to-drinks besides white claw and mixed drinks are on the smaller side, although expertly mixed by a professional bar staff. Ordered a vodka transfusion and he knocked it out of the park, was probably one shot about 6-8oz of fluid total and generous on ice but delicious and made with Titos for only 12 dollars 🤷‍♂️Would definitely visit again!Also needs quieter bathroom option lol they blast music in there which for some people im sure is relaxing but for me it makes it hard to even pee

I’ve been coming to Elektricity for about 5 years now and I absolutely love coming here almost every weekend. The sound quality is really good, the patio is really nice on heavy shows so you can step outside and the vibes are awesome! But more than anything I love the security here, they’re always around if you need help and take every situation seriously and quickly. I love that I found a place where I can feel comfortable and safe while having fun with friends. Much love to the security team, also the bartenders(Levi especially!)❤️

After being a traveling artist across the country this has been my top favorite venue to perform at!

Great night club with some really good hardcore EDM music ! We were there for new years and they had a secondary dj in a small room upstairs. The crowd and the bartenders were amazing. The only con was the lack of choice of alcohol.Would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves hardcore edm !!

You cant leave. You cant smoke. Bathrooms are filthy. Music is HORRIBLE (100% riddim or dubstep). 4 dollar water and 10 dollar drinks fairly normal. Mismanaged and overall a bad time. Everyone that goes here is super welcoming though, if you want to pay 20-30 bucks just to stand around listening to awful music then its a fantastic hangout spot.

Cool place , patio sound system needs work . Their sound tech must not have an ear for tuning . Inside setup is pretty good . Definitely puts you in the music . Book more Riddim artists !

Front door staff was.. apathetic. A weird drunk guy bothered my teenager sister on our way out and they just stood there. You’re not allowed to bring any kind of water, but you have to buy water, no free bottles. Tacky. Crowd was an odd mix, not bad, but an underager face planted over the rail due to staff negligence. Ohio clubs do raves better, I guess. The club LOOKS really cool, though. So two stars.

Decided to come back for a show for the first time in a while. Immaculate as always if not better than before, but the highlight of my night was our spectacular bartender, Levi. They were nothing short of amazing in terms of friendliness and service. I will be back not only for the music, but in hopes to have more interactions with the outstanding staff particularly Levi.

Absolutely love going here. Its been a great time every time I have been there. Good music and honestly despite what some experiences people have had the staff seems pretty chill too. Cant wait to go back for my next show, also suggestion maybe try for another foam vs paint party because that was a great time a few years back 😁

Great night here dancing with my friends and a random group of people. Having three separate open bars was nice as I never had to wait to get a drink. The drinks were all over $5, which is average for a downtown night club. The staff was very relaxed and polite.

Front door staff usually rude or at best apathetic. Has nice music and space to dance, the shows have all been amazing. The patrons are quite the mix. Nice and friendly, or going too hard, or (rarely) touchy/creepy. Very varied experiences. Tickets were cheaper than I remember and drinks expensive as always.Been here a few times, will probably be back due to their bookings.

I celebrated my birthday here last night. This place was what I wanted and more! The lights, the atmosphere, the dancers up in the air, the fireworks, the music and the drinks were all great. Even everyone who worked here had great attitudes. The shot girl Josie was really down to earth, nice and fun. I didnt want to leave! Where some flat shoes ladies. It was rarely places to sit but here you wouldnt want to sit down. Theres a separate outside area for smoking but it has an bar and a dj on that side. This place made my birthday epic! Thanks club elecktricity!

Had a blast here couple weeks in a row! VIP definitely the way to go, Mal & Josie are the best! Super sweet, super cute, very attentive, and always looking for that next level of fun; just what wanted. The music hits hard, the drinks hit harder, and the lights and effects are second to none. Would love to keep on coming out to this great local rarity, theres none else like it, especially when it comes to specialties!

Went here to see Minnesota (awesome show). Its not the biggest venue but had great sound and really pumped up the crowd prior to the headliner. Drinks are expensive but relatively comparable to most concert venues.

Elektricity is a pretty cool night club with a big dance floor and a lot of fancy lights. The people that I have seen there range from young to old. The price to get in is pretty steep in my opinion for what little value in true entertainment you get. Parking on the street used to be free and now the city of Pontiac has started charging for it, so going has become less of a value.

The men who work entrance should be retrained or honestly not be allowed to work at all. Clearly these workers are on a power trip. I purchased multiple tickets &the guy scanning tickets kept scanning them incorrectly. accusing me that my tickets were bad. And i should be lucky I even get to enter. What kind of business tries to con paying customers!! Do your job correctly.

The club was okay. It wasnt as I expected it to be. I didnt like the songs that they put on which, was more like techno songs. The club is clean considering its in Pontiac and the parking is across the street. I heard the club next door play better songs. Overall, I did enjoy all of the shows.

Went to see Madeon here and grabbed a VIP booth with the wife. This was easily the best VIP booth experience we’ve ever had. We had two gals checking up on us, refreshing our ice, cranberry juice, sprite, and making sure we weren’t having trouble with those around us. If you’re thinking about doing a VIP booth I’d easily say for you to do it you’ll get some of the best service in Michigan.

There is ample parking in the open lot across the street, be prepared to pay $10 in cash, or $15 on your credit card to use it. There is some street parking, but you have to arrive early, and who arrives early to the club?!The bouncers are stoic (like they tend to be), but once youre in the venue, the rest of the staff are pretty chill. The place is wide open, with some VIP booths around in the rear of the floor, and some mezzanine booths on the second level, looking down into the pit.Lighting and sound were far superior to what I expected from this joint! Dorfex Bos headlined our event, and the room was soaked in heavy bass EDM through the early hours of the morning.Discounting the mind blowing experience that is Dorfex Bos (he could warp your senses in a tool shed), the venue itself was respectable with few, if any, gimmicks to distract from the main attractions.

Awesome venue, Friday nights are always banging with top of the line artists. I love hanging out upstairs and visiting the mojo room when its open. They recently revamped the speakers and lights and its a 10/10 experience for sure!

Drinks are very pricey, but the experience makes up for it. There’s a lovely outdoor area with projectors, vendors, small setup for private performer, and concession food from which I assume is a local business. I got a pulled pork sandwich for $5 and a hot dog for $3. Outdoor area was smoke and vape-friendly since exiting venue was off-limits. One downside would be the indoor terrain. 70’s-style platforming is VERY groovy, but after a few drinks, the amount of stepping up and down got redundant and my brain said “no thank you”. The bathroom had an attendant who was VERY attendant and had his own speaker and music playing. We got a private booth for around $350 while our friend opened for HOL. Bartenders were fast. Lots of paid parking available.

Cool big venue. All standing room, but lights and sound were great. Drink prices reasonable. Was cool they had a separate dj for the second bar outside in the smoking area.

If you love EDM. This is eastern Michigans main dance venue. Been a proud patron for years.

Staff is friendly, crowd was friendly. Music sounded fantastic. Great experiences are always had at Elektricity.

Love this venue. It was one of the first I went to and it will hold a special place in my heart. I love the security right now! I believe his name was William but he is so sweet. Same with the other man whose name I didnt get. Very awesome staff and a great venue

The people make this place incredible.From the barkeeps and the security, to the management and of course the performers and their squads! Lets not forget the FANS!Ive gone twice and its still worth the 2 hour drive from Battle Creek!

Cool, venue. Lots of space, indoor and outdoor stages. Younger crowd that knows how to have fun.Right in my hometown, would recommend to any bassheads out there or dubstep fans.

First time coming here with my girls, and we had a blast. Played lots of different kinds of music! Bathroom was clean, staff seemed nice, overall experience was pretty good!Side note- if you are a lady/feminine, be careful. Like many clubs, men tend to touch you even if you dont want to be touched. I didnt knock off a star for this, simply because the club isnt at fault.I would come again, regardless of the experience with some jerks.

Kicked out for no apparent reason. We where there last night and out of nowhere security comes up to my buddy and says we were told to have u leave for the night.

Great venue for electronic music. upstairs has plenty of space with the dance floor often being overcrowded. #jameshype rocked it.

Venue is fun when the dj is good, when dj is playing top 40 nobody cares and its annoying. Hit and miss venue based on the music, regular crowd does not come here for 95.5 or anything mainstream. I noticed major holidays the djs are poorly selected and the crowd always looks bored and frustrated. For example this NYE the place was basically empty by 12:05 due to boring dj.

One of the best clubs in Michigan, and one of the best electronic venues in the midwest. I love everything about this place. The sound system is off the hook, plenty of space to wander and dance, strong drinks, and great visual production.

Atmosphere is great. The lights are super great and the bartender will definitely hook you up if youre a genuinely nice human being not rolling on drugs .P.S if youre a basshead.come to this place. They have such great sound

Went on a Friday night with friends. But only a small portion of club was open called Mojo Room with no one. They did not let us know before entry that the club is not fully open and they charged 22$ per person as well before entry. When we said we did not know the club is not fully open and ready to leave immediately they are not ready to give even half the money back. It was really a bad experience. Will not recommend. I would rather go-to necto in Ann arbor.

New years Eve was my first time coming here I heard about it on TV and thought it would be fun I was right it was so much fun and it was crowded to the point where we was touching each other to get by I would come back again

Went to see AU5… Great visuals on LED displays. Excellent sounds with lots of rumbling bass.

I had a great time here! Nice smaller venue with great acoustics! No problems with security or any other staff! Enjoyed a great show and will return to this venue in the future! Parking lot across from the venue does charge $25 so come prepared if you are parking there.

I love this place, great music, fun atmosphere

Definitely hit or miss on the vibe night by night, but when the vibe is right, its definitely a perfect night.It can get very busy, so if you want to get in and not be hanging outside (in the rain) too long, make sure to get there at a decent hour.The DJs are awesome as well, and keep the vibe going.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The staff are extremely rude. I walked up the steps to show the man my ID. He told me to get closer. He asked how old I was as if he didn’t know from my license. He put on my wrist band. He shouted at me to go inside and pushed my back twice with his hands. I was waiting for my boyfriend, because there’s no need to go inside alone. Drunk or not there’s no excuse for this behavior. This was literal assault. It’s safe to say I won’t be coming back here. Hire new workers! Aside from this, the main dance floor wasn’t open and the atmosphere was not my vibe .

Great venue for local and touring EDM/Electronic shows that supports local talent. Reasonably priced tickets and drinks. Great location.

Me and my girl have been regulars here for a few months now. I dont know many dance clubs like this one. Awesome DJs every weekend, big names too. Drinks arent cheap but the club is nice, patio is nice with a 2nd stage outside. But the lazers, thats the coolest part. Freaking lazers man.

Love this venue. Wish they would open up the upstairs again....But still love this venue. 3 bars inside with a great mainstays and VIP booths surround the place with great bottle service. Outside patio for seating with a stage outside to bump the night away and a bar and grill where you can buy food (atleast the last time we were there) This is where you smoke, hang out out, cool off, go hard again. 😀They also book amazing local artists and to be honest Id go there just for them.The staff is nice and quick.The bathroom staff is helpful and fun always.Go any time I can!

I went on a Saturday and it appeared to be a dubstep night which was awesome the venue is medium to big size they have an upstairs and the bathrooms are downstairs but the main floor is where the party goes down. They havent outside area for smoking and music is played out there as well with drinks. Will say though it was quite warm and humid inside needed better ventilation.

Hands down best EDM venue in the area. Gives you the chance to see some pretty popular artists in the EDM world in a relatively intimate setting.

Omg what is this place ..a bit of a drive but wanted to try this place put reminded me of the Leland but there was 3 floors and literally nobody there was prob a total of 50 ppl outside outdoor patio jst dead when I asked a server where the party is she said it was a dead night so all floors were closed like it was Saturday night if they aint busy on Saturday when r they busy

After about 3 years of coming to elektricity (precovid) I can say it’s really gone downhill the last several months. The only time the main floor is open is for “big” artist events and the tiny upstairs bar is reserved for a their regular shows. It never used to be this way. Drinks have always been expensive, however the staff has never always been rude. I watched a staff member neglect to help a younger lady who said somebody had drugged her friend. The bartender said “I don’t know what you want me to do..” and then proceeded to try taking my order. I walked away appalled and let my S/O know what i just saw, when she told me that a security guard told her to “get away” and pushed her for asking for a pen just seconds before.There used to be a very tall, big built man who was the supervisor for the longest time and I haven’t seen him in months. Since he disappeared.. the security, bartenders, and staff have become very negligent of maintaining a safe place to rave and enjoy the community. This used to be safe place for women as well, but I’ve witnessed countless men harassing young females concert-goers on several occasions only to have it handled by another man attending the show, never the security. what’s the point of having all of them there if they just instigate the hostility?! There’s also a selective rule depending on who works “outside” wether you can/cant smoke marijuana. Depending who works the patio, they’ll either stomp on it or sneak a hit from you. Very toxic environment lately and I’m sad to see it do downhill. I often enjoyed coming here every weekend but lately it’s become quite miserable.

This it not a reflection on the whole club. This is a reflection on the bartender on the left side of the club. Her bartending experience is very low and it definitely showed through her awful tasting shots. I have never took shots that tasted so bad that it made me throw up in my mouth. Considering each shot was $11, definitely not worth! Highly recommend teaching her how to be a better bartender or hiring someone else.

I wish that main headliners would try a different venue. Honestly ill straight up not go see someone because this is the venue they chose. They oversell, over charge and disrespect you the whole time your there. I really feel like our PLUR community deserves better than this place.

Half of the club has been closed for months. Birthday packages don’t state anything is closed. Spent $300 for two nasty love seats that sit six but yet my party paid for 10 people. And sadly anyone (random people) can sit on the couches (unless you beg security to remove them.) soooo what’s the point of paying for a “booth.”Seems like an anime convention….lowkey. Different crowd for sure.The entire inside of the club is closed and we were all forced outside into the tiny alleyway..Been here twice and had the same….bleh experiences. Not sure I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Excellent staff! Excellent venue! Got to see Benny Benassi here and it was awesome! All the staff are nice and they were cooking food on a BBQ on the patio! Drinks were a little expensive but what place isnt? 10/10 would come here again!

Went on a Friday so it was not super busy, thankfully for myself because it was my first rave. The bathroom was not the cleanest. Other than that it was fun!!

21 and up, has 3 bars, plenty of people, amazing artists/ shows/ atmosphere. Different kinds of people usually younger but with variation comes problems so if you mind your own nobody will bother you.

Sets are always spine chillingly amazing. Laser lighting displays are beautiful. Drinks are fairly priced for a club setting.

Great artist always have fun here. Dope stage and good light system with lots of bass. The top shelf is cool too you can feel the bass up there vibrate the whole place.

Went here for a formal and on occasion with some friends. Good music selections and VIP section has complimentary Redbull. The lights are very attractive and interesting. The initial entrance into the club can be a bit crowded and making your way out or to the bathroom is a bit of a struggle during peak hours. Overall a nice club.

Great vibe. Went and saw cheat codes live. Parking across the street was a bit pricey but for a few hours it was great. The place was packed but a few people had too much to drink and kinda hurt the vibe but this wasnt until near the end of the show as is kinda expected of concerts.

They tend to over sell tickets because they have the patio addition now. Which is fine when people are spread out but with big act shows its too much. Drinks are a joke, as well as parking. I dont believe they have control over the lot in front. But they get good head liners in and their vip is kind of fun when they dont let who ever in.

Most fun I’ve had in a while!!! The show was absolutely lit and the crowd was very kind. A true feeling of PLUR. Can’t wait to go back.

So upset. We came here to have a girls night out expecting the best experience. Unfortunately when we got there they had us go upstairs into a tiny space where they played music but it was not the same. It was a bar trying to be a club. No lights just music.

Great place for night life, the DJs are very good along with the staff. The place is a bit crowded sometimes but I understand its a club. I also lost my wallet Here and was scared Id never find it again so I went to the concierge desk and they had it waiting for me, someone turned it in. The people that come here are overall good people. I would recommend coming here if you want to get out of your house and have a little fun.

Was in the MOJO ROOM tonight and wow! What an experience! So personal! Never have I been to a show where I was close enough to touch the turntables! All that was missing was some light fx but I think we all managed without. Look forward to more personal experiences with our beloved DJs

I’ve been a regular at this venue for 10 years. They’ve continued to increase production quality and host world renowned musicians in that time.

Went with friends had a good time. The drinks are expensive. The staff is pretty chill there and decent that I have seen. Fun times here.

Went there is past weekend for the foam party 7/6. They told us 295 for a vip booth so we gave them 300$ cash then they charged another 350 to the card for the same booth. Other than that cool environment and atmosphere.

Friendly staff and the music was great to dance to. My husband and I went there for one of their Halloween events and we had a blast. They played many favorite Halloween tunes mixed with other music. Downside, too many people and the dance floor became overwhelmingly stuffy and not everyone was able to cram into their small space they had put aside for the Halloween costume contest, there was a line of people dressed up that couldnt participate. Eventually; we buckled down and bought a bottle section and I had room to do what I love, dance.

I had a great time while at this club for girls night! My ONLY suggestion is having a person at each VIP section watching the front gate area so people that rent these VIP sections can leave and not be afraid someone may just walk in. For the amount of $ you spend for these sections you should be able to have someone guarding these areas. Also I think that each section should have their OWN waitress. That is WAY to much to cover for one person. But other than that it was AWESOME! And our waitress was GREAT!

Pretty cool place and good sound and music, but the floors were covered with spilled drinks and it was slippery and they didnt have anyone in charge for that. Also a Heineken was 10$ like what? Thats what i paid for beer when Metallica was playing downtown lol

One of my favorite places to go, the atmosphere is wild and fun. Just make sure you stay safe, I noticed a lot of creepy men. Luckily the security guards are great and even helped me with a man who was too much at one point.

Hands down best light and laser set up in metro detroit.I use to hear bad things about this club but everytime Ive been Ive had nothing but a great time, surrounded by great people!

I use to give this place a five star when I went years ago. Just went to the summer paint vs foam and it was disgusting. The bouncers did nothing about guys taking up skirt pics and when I confronted the bouncer he just shrugged it off. The bar tender was amazing however made the drinks spot on a huge cheets to her. The crowd had turned into people that just stand around on the back wall and the patio was almost empty. Im not sure if they changed owners staff or what happend but definitely not the club it use to be that I would take anyone to anymore for their first club experience. Ill try it again on another event and hope its better!

They were amazing. I won a free VIP booth and honestly I was so happy with my experience. They did have a few technical difficulties but really they handled them so well trying to make them best time for everyone. I definitely recommend coming here!!!

Personally, it is very hard to find a fun club that is not 21 and over...this place is AMAZING it was super fun and the music and djs were great. I really liked the fact that 18 and older is allowed there. One of the best clubs i have ever been to. It was well worth the 3 hour trip from Cleveland to get there.

Fun night club, decent prices on alcohol, parking was offered for $10 not far from the entrance.

Sweet set up, 2 stages one inside and a smaller one outside. Several bars, dope music and sound, easy to get to, reasonably priced tickets. Drinks are super expensive and watered down.

Bit overpriced on the drinks but the space, sound, and lighting were great.

This was my first time at this club and my first time at a dubstep concert and it was super fun! It gets crowded as hell naturally so consider getting a VIP booth if youre rich and need occasional breaks from the sea of humanity.

Cool place to be. Two floors. Cant seem to be able to buy a drink because of the busyness. Announcers dont always listen to the crowd,which is annoying when youre on stage. Nice place to be. Free for ladies before 11pm,unless its an even....then its $25 for everyone. Guys are usually $10.

This review is just my honest opinion. Don’t let it discourage you from going to it. But this club just wasn’t for me. It’s literally ALL edm music. No other genre. Last night was my first time going there since channel 955 always says “come join us at club elektricity” so I gave it a shot.The crowd it attracts is something else. Not going to get into that. But it’s $10 for parking and then $30 to buy a ticket just to get in. You can wear anything because once you get inside, dudes will literally have their shirts off. The layout is nice but I just wouldn’t go back anymore.

I give a star because google does not allow to post with out a single star.Good music (probably the thing i can praise about this place ) ,Customer service is so so , bouncers are very rude with zero common sense , VIP booths are not guaranteed with the top shelf alcohol.over all customer satisfaction 2 out of 10.

Cover was $30. Music was garbage. The crowd was not enthusiastic. I regret everything. Reading other reviews you can see 100% of the fun is dependent on the crowd you bring. The venue itself is a cool as Joe Biden left alone with a teenager.

A great place to check out great artists. The light show they can put on is stunning. I wish theyd give a little more attention to the sound system outside at the second stage. They also need to stock thre second stage bar a wee bit more.

I havent been able to experience the indoor part of this venue, Ive only been to shows on the patio and the patio is just okay... There isnt enough lights out there and the sound isnt very good either, id give the patio a 3 out of 5

This place is alright. With a name like elektricity I expected them to play more house/edm music but was mostly a mashup of todays best rap/hip hop/pop hits along with classics from the last decade. I personally prefer when the DJ plays similar music instead of back and forth between different genres always mixing it up. Staff were great, bartenders are great decent size dance floor, booths are comfortable if you can afford one. My biggest complaint besides the first part of this review about the music is that a lot of perverts, old and young like to come here to hit on or dance with girls. Im a guy but I always go out with a group of girls and they seemed very uncomfortable and didnt feel like staying for too long. Even after complaining about it to staff pervs were still left to do as they please. I think this place needs better security to handle these types of issues.

Came here the first time with my friends last Friday and I was not impressed. First $30 to get in, then expensive watered down drinks. Employees are really really rude. The entire atmosphere was terrible and everyone was rude. The lights and some of the music was ok but Necto in Ann Arbor is WAY better than this place.

This place is super fun when theres a TON of people, but on an average night, its just a place for super overpriced drinks, an overpriced cover, and a lot of people standing around. You definitely have to go here on a concert night were people will be in to dancing and the music.

Drinks are $11, they dont give you caps on your water bottles, the stairs have spilled drinks all over it and prone to cause slipping. They bring in good talent and dont kick you out right when the concert is done. Be prepared to be there for HOURS

I live in Saline. This club was about an hour away. I went on a Saturday night and expected it to be packed. We arrived after 11: tge entry and parking fee was ridiculous and the drink prices were also insane. 60$ for four watered-down shots. Yet 67$ for the long islands after the shots, got us drunk and feeling good.Too bad the club wasnt busy.

I give 4 stars, i went on my birthday april 13th 2019, our bartender was very nice, she bought me a few drinks and she gave me a really good drink, the atmosphere was hyped the patio was nice to have they also have a dj in there, i didnt like that music, because it was techno but I loved the music in the main area. I was be able to go on the radio live for a minute. The lady in the bathroom was very nice, the only thing I didnt like is that the flight of stairs you have to go to the bathroom and another thing I did not like was it was $95 to get a couch to sit and plus a bottle of liqour other than that I liked it I want to go again

Love the shows but be carful here. Some guys don’t know what no is. I had a very bad experience in New Years night. The staff was amazing though and tried their very best to help me out and find the guy.

Yeah no, 30 something year old men bobbing their heads on the very back watching the people dance was not something I would want to see at a club, it was cool how they had dancers, but they looked really tired and they constantly copied the same dance moves. Does look like it would be a really cool place to visit when its full though.

So much fun. The music and the environment gave us the night we had hoped for!

I LOVE Elektricity, the venue is great. Im into dubstep EDM and this is the perfect place for them shows. They have the outside patio with a DJ then the main stage inside. The people who work there are awesome and very nice! Always great vibes when I go. I definitely recommend this place for shows!

Best club atmosphere in Michigan with the absolute worst alcoholic drinks in Michigan. Its best to get bombed before you get here, trust me. Get some draft beer and a better bottle selection guys... come on.

Loved the music, ambience and light show! Drinks are a no-go as they are very watered down and the shape of the cups guarantee youll spill more than you actually drink.Unfortunately, there were some Persian creeps bothering me, refused to take no for an answer. 10 minutes later he put his hand up my skirt and grabbed my butt cheek. Made me sick, who does that?? Bouncers are immediately responsive which is awesome. All the same- ladies please beware.

One of the worst club ever been, music is just lame and nonsense. They play their own techno music only, one which you cant even dance. People just standing and shaking their head thats it. I forgot to mention its extremely expensive, they charged $30/person for entry.

Service was great for a Birthday party! Managers really worked with me, when it came to wanting a booth and only specific items with the booth! Drinks r a little expensive but the show was fabulous so it was worth it!!!

Maybe Im not knowledgeable about the facets of a night club versus a strict concert venue, but I came here to see a band I love, top billed headliner, but they didnt even hit the stage until 12:45 AM, after we got there at 10 PM. Opening djs were fine but they played wayyyy too long, too the point where we were legitimately pissed off, and the band we were there to see played wayyyy too short. Dont know if this was management or someone elses fault, but my friends who came with were so tired that they left early before the band we came to see finished. I guess this is all fine if its whats you expect but we had no idea that we werent going to be able to see what we came to see until 3 full hours after the doors opened. Lights and audio in the place were good, drinks are overpriced. I guess I would say that if youre more into concerts for the sake of the music maybe this isnt the best place for you? I dont know. Only been there once, likely wonthe be back again. With adjustments to the set list of musical artists we would have had much more fun than we did.

I love Elektricity! The shot girls and bartenders are awesome & bouncers are laid back. If you’re looking for a heck of a good time I recommend this place on Friday nights and Wednesday nights starting in May!

Drugs, ego, date rape and self indulgence. The place just asks for there to be problems. The grey area of enjoyment in society today. One of the strangest things is to witness as the staff allow it all to go on. The music they play isnt all that bad either, its just how the scene itself promotes a non responsibility. The truth is people cant handle freedom. We all want a good time but when the limit can be pushed endlessly, our emotions get in the way. Every dude there that is single just wants to find an under dressed lady to take advantage of. How does the security sleep at all, knowing hearts are being tampered with and brains are being mushed to a pulp? With these environments, weve gone too far. Clearly its all about getting intoxicated on a drug of choice, to live freely. We ought to stand up for our intelligence. Ive seen people on the verge of death. Watched ladies allowing themselves to be objects. Witnessed fights with no attempt to be stopped. This is not the American dream, rather instead: A Pontiac Nightmare. A low rating due to the staff cashing in on our wrong decisions.

The Electricity club in Pontiac is a pretty good club. Friday and Saturday are the best nights to go. The attendants on Sunday is really low. With that being said, the people are really friendly. The drinks are at a decent (NOT ALL OF THEM ARE LIKE THAT) Honestly, if they treat the females like trash, they need to get kicked out. There is a awesome out side smoking area for the people who do smoke. All in all, It is a good club.

This was my first time at elektricity and Josie was amazing! She was so kind and down to earth! She was speedy with service and made me feel welcome and wanted. I will be doing more bottle service and I will only want Josie to take care of me!!!

I would say sketchy place i have ever been. They allow 18 years old people inside. They pretend like they dont sell alcohol to under 21 years guys. But after 12 oclock even bar tenders doesnt know who is getting drinks and who is not. Under age people get drunk and they go crazy and you feel like everybody is zombie around you. Bc underage people they got drunk af.

Always a great night at Elektricity. From the smiling faces greeting you at the door, security actually keeping folks safe, great bartenders who know what their doing. And the DJS that come through are the icing on the cake to your night!

I had an absolute horrible time at this club. their music is all very weird and annoying. for some reason the bass and lights together made me and my friends feel really sick. honestly wish they did refunds.

Elektricity is one of my favorite places to go in Michigan, I have had a lot of my favorite electronic artists come here and play shows and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. There is a side stage that is out in the smoking area so no matter where you are located you can always jam out to the music. The mens bathroom is downstairs which is a bit annoying but havent fell yet! I would definitely recommend coming here to check out a show with your friends.

Went for tritonal show, when I got there they said it was canceled. This club is going out of business and it’s all false advertising and lies. No major artist coming to this venue anymore . It’s all fraud. Music terrible, food terrible and the worst was all the drinks that was water down. DO NOT GO THERE

I give a 4 because excellent time, great people, only issue is their system is so stuck in its way for years that it doesnt advance. Venue could be legendary, but ownership and execution are complacently acting. All love, but some come on.

Elektricity is one of the best Dubstep/EDM venues in SE Michigan. The bartenders are always so fun and also great at what they do. This place has 4 full bars, a decently large stage, and a absolute killer sound system. The outdoor area is my favorite feature of the venue during the warm months, boasting an additional DJ, bar, and lounging area. If youre in the Detroit area and love bass music, this is the place to be.

One of the greatest nightclub experiences in Michigan! From huge headlining DJs to weekly exotic stage performances, Elektricity nightclub met all my expectations. I will absolutely choose this venue again and again for my nights out!

I always have a blast when I go to elektricity. The stage productions at this venue are next level! They even have food avalible, I love a club that has food!

Great club and staff EXCEPT the bigger African American gentleman with the curly afro that has a bulls ring nose piercing that works the front door! This guy is beyond ridiculous!! Very rude, disrespectful and is on an ego trip. I have been to Elektricity over 10 times, not one single problem with any of the staff. They are all courteous, friendly and excellent service. This guy alone ruined the whole experience and at least 2 other friends on separate occasions, so we all agreed to NEVER go back to this club. At least until this guy, who is on an ego trip, no longer works here.P.S. besides that it is a fun place, great environment and friendly staff.

Small venue but always some good names playing here 👍. Light show is over the top for the size. Second stage is outdoor giving a chill environment if you need some space.

When we entered it felt like this is it....its gonna be a great experience here....sound system...dance floor and lighting are amazing here... but it was kind of disappointment the way and kind of music being played. It was all metalic sort off...there wasnt any thumping and rythmic music a club should be playing.

This is not the place for me, the bar is set up better then it once was back when it was Vision Night Club but just not my thing. The drinks are over prices and watered down and 85% of the younger kids in there are high off Cocaine, Molly, X and Gods know what else. Its not as classy as Tonic Night Club use to be on a Sunday night back in its prime.

I came here for a paint vs. Foam party. It was amazing! We were completely covered in paint by the end and there was foam everywhere. We already started looking at more events here.

Its really cool however DJ troublemaker plays on Saturdays and his music is always the same. The foam parties are lots of fun, although if you dont like taking a bath with 100s of people or being groaped by random guys who you cant see. Dont go. Honestly if you dont like being touched by skeevy guys dont go to elektricity at all.

If you can avoid the shirtless bro pit, you pre-drink and go for the music this will work. Deaf for two days after, consider ear protection. Crowd is on the younger side depending on artist.

Dont buy your drinks from here. Theyre diluted and overpriced. If youre into electronic music, this is a great place to be.It was this club where I discovered how much I love to dance.

Im a PRO-Club banger , been too most in all of DETROIT , Ive been to this one once and NOT impressed at ALL , bring back Clutch Cargos ( buy it back from the church 1st ) . The crowd was not at capacity - probably at 39% - I dont know why when you have all the VIP booths empty a.F !!! , but the music probably gets a 3.7 stars I guess - I kinda liked it . F iT - Im headin out WEST !!!

Great music, with multiple stages. For big events they open the top and the back room. They also have an open outside patio. Great place to go for edm and people were very friendly.

I’ve been twice. Had a great time both times. Second time I accidentally went to a Rave there but it was so much fun anyways.

It was really cool hanging out with the DJ friends of my roommates friends and getting to know a couple of his cool friends that make interesting Beats besides it was an interesting Endeavor going there and engaging with in the Amplified experience that which comes from the interesting disc jockey lifestyle of intellectual music that stimulates the cerebral cortex of your mind

The best night club in metro Detroit for EDM, unfortunately due to this being one of the main clubs in the area the crowd can be very mixed during shows.Sound and acoustic inside of the club is terrible, it is extremely loud compared to other venues. The nature of the building causes sound to bounce all over and ruin the quality of the sound.

Place was packed and a lot of fun. Even though there was a huge crowd, there were plenty of bars and I never had to wait in line for a drink, or wait to use the bathroom.

It was my 1st time coming here and i had a blast with some friends on the foam and paint night. Enjoy! Just look down if you are burried in soap and cant breathe lol

AMAZING venue, this place is a prime rave spot. The speakers there are very loud which is great, just remember to bring ear plugs to protect your ears!

Someone broke my girlfriends sandal and the security guards were cool enough to fix it for her in order for us to enjoy our night! Theyre always looking out for the safety of everyone trying to have fun.

Nice club! Very spacious and well done layout. They also bring in some very good acts on Fridays at a very reasonable price!

PLEASE FIGURE OUT A WAY TO CIRCULATE THE AIR BETTER IN THERE. Not only is it insanely hard to breathe because you let people smoke in the covered outside area and all the smoke comes inside the club as well but you have to remember that its insanely hot when you dont have fans inside. Plus stupid people are doing drugs and someone will eventually die if you dont figure out a way to make it safer. Please have more security when I saw Zomboy I didnt see any workers besides people at the bar and in the bathrooms what if a fight broke out???? Grimey people show up here and its annoying girls have to constantly watch their backs when they are just trying to enjoy their favorite artists/djs. Or just use all the money you make and buy a nicer, bigger venue, without slanted floors and in a safer city than pontiac/detroit.

I went for the first time and was no impressed by it especially the VIP booth. Is someone really gonna pay that much for horrible seating in an area that is barely private.And the bathrooms had no toilet paper in almost every stall. And the service wasnt that good.

I have been here maybe 5-10 times in last 5 years and this kinda club was never my favorite kinda place but it literally knocked my socks off everytime. Somehow I picked up some company everytime just dancing and having such a damn good time.

It was fun really young crowd mostly techno music a few rnb/rap songs in there cover is 10.00 after 11pm and Saturdays the better day to go.

They play the same songs over and over again but its a fun place to be on a Saturday night. Ladies are free before 11 so its a cheap turn-up.

This place is expensive tickets are usualy high and parking can be expensive as well go early and you can park cheaper on a not sell out night but pay for parking the area gets rough quickly away from the club, that being said the production sound lights lazers fog wind this club has it all and an amazing patio elektricity is awesome dont hesitate if you can afford it
