Came to see Little Dragon,April +Vista. Theatre was a descent venue, security was fine, restrooms were clean(but its a VERY tight space) and acoustics were pretty good. The street outside is tight,so while you can park on the street from what Ive read, probably better to park in one of the lots nearby, there are a few in descent walking distance. You can use parking apps to find and reserve parking spaces before you get there which is really helpful. I would definitely come back to see a show here. However I do wish they would not allow people to smoke/vape during shows(aint nobody got time for that!)
One of my favorite spots very good for a quick night out without having to make it an all day thing most shows are 3-5 hours long. Even if you can’t get to the front the venue is so small you can see from further back actually the back of the room has the best view (pause) also 21 and up have seating options but you must pay ahead for vip also bring money for water 6$ a can
One of the many smaller venues in the city. Its nice that bathrooms are right up front near the entrance. My experience with the staff here has been unpleasant compared to other local venues of this size, that host well known performers. Be warned. They will go through every single item in your bag and on your person piece by piece, in a more detailed and unnecessary way than a TSA agent. Logic about what can and cant come into the venue applied only when convenient to their rules, but not used in a way that actually makes any sense. You would think that getting inside would be the only obstacle to seeing a show here, but it doesnt end there. Once the shows starts the staff working indoors arent much better. There was only 1 normal security team staff that I encountered here, the rest are on a sad little power trip about who can stand where, and for how long they say so. They will specifically tell you to stand behind an obvious obstruction of sight, or straight up behind a wall, knowing that would ruin the entire show that you paid youre own hard earned money to get into to and SEE.Now this is not a problem that is unique to this venue by any means. It is a societal problem, and a cultural one. However be warned that there are more than a few types of these people currently employed here at this venue, and they arent concerned with making your paid experience enjoyable or reasonable. Regardless of if the performance and sound is good or not, dealing with things like this take away from the overall enjoyment and experience. Meaningless bad memories created while trying to make only positive ones.
Had a great time here on Halloween night seeing Motionless In White ..loved this venue didnt care how packed it was had an amazing time with my daughter and actually enjoyed the feeling up search prior to entrance ..most I have been touched in a while lol..so if you go do make sure to leave contraband in your cars cause you wont get it in..great staff and great show!
Ive been going to hardcore and metal shows here since I was a kid. Good venue. Staff is patient. Parking can be tricky.
Crowd was friendly and the venue was nice. It was really packed, so the bar area was congested however, we REALLY enjoyed the sold out Alina Baraz concert‼️As for Alina, let me tell you… She smells like an angel or a goddess. My wife was there but I feel like I had a “Hall Pass” at that moment, so I guess I will owe her one… Dis I say I’ve never smelled a woman so divine. I can say it cause my wife said the same thing… The sound was superb and the crowd was absolutely awesome. We were from out of town and I would like to say the Philly crowd really showed out for this concert! Will definitely come back!
Went for the Neon Noir tour not knowing what to expect since this venue was new to me but I have to say I think this might be my favourite venue now. The staff were all incredibly kind, happy and friendly and the building itself was really nice. It was a great size, not so small that it felt cramped but also not so big that your couldnt see well. Even from the back I could see really well and it was still pretty close. The floors are also slanted so you stand a little higher in the back then you do in the front which really helps and allows you to see the stage better without your veiw being blocked by other peoples heads. The sound quality was also great. I really enjoyed the show and had a great experience here and would recommend this venue to others.
Such a great venue! Awesome sound and visibility everywhere in the room. Staff is very friendly. Bar is decently stocked, But no Jägermeister, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, or Skrewball PeanutButter Whiskey. 😭 At least they had Jameson 😉👍
First time at this venue and it was a fantastic experience. Plenty of parking, lots of food choices in the area. The venue and bathrooms were clean and the staff was amazing - my wife forgot her earplugs in the car and the staff couldnt have been more concerned and helpful in locating a spare pair for her. Was really really impressed. Sound was really good. Overall a great day in Philly punctuated by a great show at this theater by Softcult.
This is a really good intimate venue. If you come here to see a band you love, youll be close no matter what. My pictures are from the balcony because Im taller and my girlfriend was front row, so I didnt want to block everyone behind me. But I still felt really close to the stage and could hear everything perfectly!I was worried parking would be a pain, but theres a covered parking garage about half a mile away. General admission has plenty of space to pick from, while there are some reserved seats in the balcony. Honestly I feel like you can still get the best view GA! Start time was punctual, staff was pleasant, and show was great. Will definitely go back if theres a band I like!
They supply free water at their shows which shows they genuinely care about the safety of the people attending the shows, plus security is good here, and staff is always friendly!
Security gropes you during pat down. Parking is terrible, venue is extremely small, overzealous security. If you get in you won’t even be able to see the person preforming because of the cramped venue. Very hot building.
The acoustics arent knock-your-socks off, but the venue is intimate and the staff is super nice!Im not a fan of the fact that the bar area can turn into a private party (behind the center deck seating), because it can be distracting for those of us who want to immerse ourselves in the music, but being as Ive only attended one event here, that may have been an anomaly.
Its a smaller venue but that means there is no bad spot really. The worst spot for me is always my luck being stuck behind the tallest dudes in the venue most of the time. They do have an upstairs seated area which I like to get if possible so I dont have to fight so hard to be able to see the stage.
This venue lives up to its name! I went to a kur concert and the energy in the building was dope like the room fostered it! And the staff was super accommodating and helpful Tayia and Louise were phenomenal at the job!
Great venue, great bands constantly coming in. Super friendly staff. Crowd was also pleasant.
The ADA area is a joke. This theater is not suitable to treat individuals with disability. They put you in a corner where everyone is standing and obstructing your view. You can’t go to the balcony, which I paid for because the only way to get up there is using stairs. This is ridiculous and the staff is just ok with this and don’t know how to accommodate. Below is a view of the alleged ADA searing
I went here for the Benny the Butcher concert. While the bartenders were friendly, security seemed lacking, and the ventilation system could use some improvements. These factors slightly detracted from the overall experience.
Great little spot for a concert! And as a disabled person I cant always say that. These guys were super accommodating and really prepared for ADA accommodations where lots other places maybe have something as an afterthought. Its so nice to be able to go and enjoy the show without it being a lot of work. Thank you so much for a great experience! Other venues can learn a thing or two about how to accommodate the disabled from you!
Venue is a little small and they definitely need more bathrooms for the way they pack in sold out shows. All in all the layout is as good as it can be for the space they have- bars on the sides and upstairs, bathrooms in the back, and a planed show floor to help the people in the back see a little better.
My 13 yr Olds first show. Tesana and another fine staff member were so accommodating, they helped me out SO MUCH, been to the TLA many times but wasnt used to a show with a younger demographic and they were beyond helpful. But Tesana, if you see this you helped me so much last night. Thank you ❤️
Absolutely terrible security that does not know the ADA laws concerning diabetics; I go in with my honey sticks only for them to be confiscated, I explain Im diabetic and that Im allowed with them inside the venue so the first security guard tells me Im allowed one, but I escalated to whoever was in charge and they just confiscated the whole thing instead so now Im just confused. Its dangerous for me to be without my source of sugar for lows, especially in a venue like this because theres too many people around to even be able to get to the medic in time if or when my blood sugar drops. Theres not clear indications stating that I need to label my sources of sugar on the site or anywhere so what is the deal? Ive already filed a complaint with the ADA and will be escalating with management.
Great venue if you like: 1. Not being able to see the band. 2. Heatstroke. Will never go to his venue again. Not my cup of tea.
We visit this facility to see a concert. Its was jammed pack. I didnt get an opportunity to okay pictures of the inside of the facility due to how dark the theatre was. But from what my naked eye could see, I believe the owners may want to start renovating the ceiling, and upgrade the bathrooms to be a little more presentable and clean. Other than that, this place was a cool hangout.
Really good venue. Music and sound are great inside. Location is amazing
I love Philadelphia and spent my formative college years, in the city. I lived right around the corner from the TLA. For 30 years I was never inside. My youngest son talked me into going to see Willow perform and the experience was a blast. The venue is small and intimate, yet gives a big stage feel. It will replace my favorite Philly small venue, The Trocadero, because 1. The Trocadero is closed (boo-hoo) and 2. I really like the layout of the TLA. I need to give a special shout out to the Manager Molly! She was awesome in hooking up my old bones with VIP seating, after a long day spent walking around the city. Molly you Rock!
Step into the vibrant heart of Philadelphia’s arts scene with the Theatre of The Living Arts (TLA)! Nestled on the iconic South Street, this legendary venue has been a beacon of entertainment since its early days as a nickelodeon in the 1900s. With a storied past that includes transformations from a concert hall to a movie theatre, and now a renowned concert venue, the TLA is a place where history and modernity fuse to create unforgettable experiences. Its walls have echoed with the sounds of groundbreaking performances, and it has been a launchpad for iconic shows like The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Voted as one of the best concert venues in America, the TLA’s exceptional acoustics and intimate setting make every event a personal and thrilling encounter with the arts. Whether you’re a music aficionado, a film buff, or a theater lover, the TLA promises a pulsating and lively atmosphere that captures the soul of Philadelphia’s rich cultural tapestry!
Staff here is absolutely amazing. I was one of the musicians for a show here and I really felt taken care of. Huge shout out to their sound guy, Jason, for going the extra mile for us!
Way overpriced and oversold. Unless you enjoy being crammed into an enclosed space like cattle and paying TicketMaster an exorbitant amount for the privilege, pass. This is the worst venue Ive ever been to on the east coast
Pretty bad experience all around. The venue is way too small to enjoy the show. They sell way too many tickets for the area. Will not be going back. Very dirty everywhere and prices of the food/drinks are extremely high.
Super small venue for shows… not ideal for people who are vertically challenged. Don’t expect to see much of anything unless you’re front row or are lucky enough to get a balcony seat. Venue definitely sells way too many tickets for the size of the venue. When you have people packed into the hallways, blocking bathrooms, etc it’s definitely a safety concern.
Forever memories happen here! The best acts always play this stage when they come through town. The Theatre of Living Arts (or the TLA) is a concert venue located on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The venue, which opened in 1988, dates back to the early 1900s as a nickelodeon. Over the years, the venue has seen many incarnations ranging from concert hall to movie theatre to theatre.
Overzealous security that will make you throw your medication out if you only keep a small amount on you for emergencies and don’t carry a whole prescription bottle with you. They lied and said it’s a Live Nation policy when it’s just their policy. I hope they get sued over this
I recently made a trip here in order to see The Veronicas perform and it was a fantastic space! Would return for more shows in the future.
Easily my favorite venue in all of philly. Seen Many shows here.
Incredibly disability friendly staff. Awesome Pro LGBT barkeeps.Best night ever ♡
Lets start with the parking anywhere near here SUCKS! There isnt many options and the parking garage i found was not only super short 6 or less and underground. Then there was the fact i paid for fast pass. (Doors were to open at 6:30) I should have been 1 of the first in.. they opened doors at 7 and everyone went in together. The venue inside was small which isnt always bad except here. The bathroom was more like a hallway. Elbow to elbow and turn sideways to pass each other. Oh and add on the fact it was Philly and every road i tried turning down to be close to the venue was closed. 1st and last time here and i DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Every time I come here I have an amazing experience. The staff are always super friendly and very good at making sure everyone is safe. The most recent show I saw here was sold out, and it was very hot inside, they had water available for sale and for free. When people did get overheated and needed to get out of the crowd, security was very quick to act and got everyone out safely. Ive never had any issues with the restrooms being dirty or out of anything either. Love this venue.
This is a great little venue. The floor is spacious. It leaves a lot of room to get up close and personable with the bands. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It was clean and well maintained. Drinks were uber pricey. Overall, a great time all around. I will definitely make it back for future concerts.
The TLA is a great venue. Went to see Motionless In White on Halloween, and we could not have asked for a nicer time. The staff were absolutely incredible and got us to and from our ADA seats without any issues. Thank you!!!
I want to give a better review as I did love the layout of the venue. I loved how many bar areas there were and the upper balcony areas. It was also the perfect temperature to enjoy a show and dance. The issue - insane crowding - never seen anything like it before. I understand the show was sold out but the venue felt excessively over capacity. When entering the theater the crowd was pouring out into the lobby area. We had to fight through the crowd to find a place upstairs where we could somewhat see the performance and we were packed in like sardines. There was literally no space in the entire building. I dont know that Id ever attend a sold out show here ever again.
Amazing authentic food and service. The service is excellent and the people make you feel at home. I would go again for sure
The TLA is a cool venue to go to. It has two sides of a balcony as well as GA standing room when you first walk in. It fits about 1000 people and our team has seen a number of shows here. Its right on South Street so theres great places to eat within walking distance and if you search for parking on side streets you can even park for free.Their security is pretty standard but most of the door guys are nice and their bar tenders are fast and make good drinks. In terms of venues in Philly this is a solid one.
Great place for shows. It small witch makes it even better. Can wait for another show to go to. I would be going to see motionless in white on Halloween but cheapest ticket is $350. Totally crazy, I have never paid more then 50 for tickest.
Took my nieces to a concert here on 5/7/23. It was packed. The venue had everything under control, and they were very attentive to the crowd. It was VERY hot and they passed out tons of FREE water. Check in on ppl in the crowd and had thing very under control. Nice job!
I thought this venue was great. The staff/security are really thorough and polite. Had one minor incident where the guy scanning tickets kicked me out of line because my ticket took an extra 5 seconds to load and I tried to explain it was about to pop up, he made me go get in a line for ticket issues and another worker when I explained the situation let me go back to my original spot in line which was very nice. The area for sure is sketch but once you’re inside the staff makes you feel safe. Will be back for more shows I hope!
All the guests were super nice. Place was full but not too crowded. Enough space to feel comfortable. A girl fell on the floor and everyone made room for her, employees were there within the minute with a wheelchair to get her out. As safe as one can feel at a concert. Good job!
I saw Less Than Jake there last Friday the venue and it was a cool layout was an upper floor and multiple bar sections. I was in general admission and it was hot as hell but thats to be expected. Very easy entry and overall a great time. I would definitely see a show here again.
Absolutely classic venue on South Street. Shows can get crowded but mobility through the crowds isnt too difficult. Great bartenders with fast service, they really know how to work with large crowds to get drinks out fast.
My first visit was 2/21/2019 to see Alan Walk. Great small venue thats in a very entertaining and wild night life part of Philadelphia on S south St. Historically the theater was orginally Played 5 cent moves but when new owners took o e in 1988 and has been come a very attractive small venue concert hall. Over a 1000 concert since 1988. Great place for local area music , up and comer and headliners that just love a closeness with their fans you can only get at a place like Theatre of the living arts. I will Definitely be watch their concert calendar for a revisit.
Thankfully I was able to get a spot on the balcony. The number of people on the main floor was absurd.
Just saw nothing nowhere concert. I’ve never seen such a disrespectful staff in my life. I saw a female worker (with a ugly tribal tattoo on her upper arm) literally shove some random girl out of her way for no reason she didn’t even ask the girl to move she just shoved her. Other staff weren’t that rude but they were definitely miserable to be working there. The only nice staff member was the female bartender. Don’t even waste your time coming here it’s MISERABLE
Saw one of my first live shows there as a kid, that magical atmosphere is still present...
A nice small venue in a nicer area. Parking was a bit limited close to the venue but there are parking garages nearby. Security was nice and passed out water in between sets. I would come back here again.
Cool little spot for shows. Some helpful but mostly rude employees.
If youre under 21, do not let the staff see you drinking even OUTSIDE of the venue..... save yourself from getting booted
Box office fee of $5 is mentioned no where on any of their website or social pages. Seating is all plastic fold up chairs, seated as tight as you possibly could sit. All in all a very uncomfortable venue that seems poorly run. Would not recommend.
Great place to see a show because its a small room and very intimate. Bartenders were good and there was never a little me at the upstairs bar. Staff was on top of making sure everyone was safe and bounced to inebriated fools while we were there, but did so quickly and professionally. Definitely will be back for future shows
Confusing layout, every which way I turned I was told it was VIP areas. Figured it out after a bit, the only seats in the whole place were VIP only. Slopping concrete floors and no seats makes it not a friendly place for a person with a physical disability. Would have gladly paid extra for a seat but this wasnt an option, even checked with the people guarding the 3 empty VIP areas and there was no upgrade possible to get a seat. The seating areas stayed empty(zero ppl) all night until the guard moved 30mins before the end and everyone filled in them. Ps dont sit on the floor out of desperation, it is very very sticky.
Great little venue! Show floor was pretty full but there was still room to move around and groove, and the upstairs (I think its 21+) had lots of space if you wanted to chill out and step away from the crowds. There are some reserved seating areas as well if you really want your own space. All the staff were super friendly. Drinks were priced typically for this type of place.In/out was pretty quick, though the exit is the same area as coat check and merch so it gets a little jammed for a minute.Sound system was good, loud, and balanced. Light show was a little weak but not sure if thats the venue or the artists fault? We parked in the 5th and Bainbridge lot, was $20. Yeah, a bit pricey but its 1/2 block away so was worth it to us.
Our first time at the TLA to see Nothing More. Yes its small and a bit cramped, but it has soul and history and we had a great time. Bathrooms are what they are - not gross - and the place has been around forever! Beer was cold. Sound was good. We will be back.
Favorite venue. Security is always respectful, bar staff does a great job, sound crew always does their job just right, a very well run venue overall, I just wish I could get some better bands to play such a small spot! Always an intimate show. Bathrooms are usually clean too.
Love the venue and Lovejoy - and opening acts - were great. But the show was clearly oversold as it was impossible to even move into the main standing area - people were jammed shoulder to shoulder as far out as the lobby. It was very disappointing.
Volume was perfect, props to the folks tuning the sound! Didnt need to use ear plugs which is rare, most venues have it too loud and for anyone that wants to protect your hearing you know you need to use ear plugs. But not here on the night I was there, really appreciate that!
Went to see Thy Art Is Murder here, venue is in a cool area of Philly but parking isnt great. There is a parking garage on the next block so its close but that garage is terrible. Very few available spots with really small spaces and very difficult to navigate, if you go into it youll understand. Plus they have a section closed off because the ceiling is literally collapsing. At the venue the mens bathroom was extremely small with urinals that are awkwardly close together and no dividers. Its so tight your hips are basically touching so its really weird. If you prefer a little sense of privacy you wont have it if the bathroom is full. Employees seemed nice enough and drinks were okay but expensive just like every bar in Philly. There were a few minor audio issues throughout the show but nothing too bad. The worst part of the venue is the layout and their reserved sections. I think this was just too small of a venue for how many people were there but the way the place is designed makes it feel smaller. One of the staircases going to the second floor sticks out into the main floor which drastically reduces good viewing spots of the stage. One area upstairs is completely useless as beams block the stage. Youre also not allowed to stand at the top of the stairs which makes sense for safety but also greatly reduces places to stand. Worst of all are the reserved areas. When you buy tickets you get one option which is general admission but the venue had two big sections (one upstairs and one on the first floor) they blocked off and told us they were for the bands. Well there were maybe 4 people at most in those sections that couldve easily fit 50 people who it was disappointing not being able to use that space. The bands were getting annoyed no one was moving around much during their sets but there really just wasnt any room to move. Anyway, thats all.
This venue is rough. The event I went to was oversold and I was sandwiched in between a bunch of people at all times with no elbow or shoulder room for 2 hours. The acoustic and listening situation is bad, and the hallways you have to navigate in order to get from the front to the back of the venue are so narrow and packed with people that its not even worth trying to use the ONLY bathroom on the first floor.
Nice theater in good location. Friendly staff, good shows.
This is a very small theater in a very tight area. In order to get the few seats in the balcony it was a lot more expensive so we had to do the standing room only on the 1st floor where there are no seats. It was nice to be close to the performers but if you were behind somebody tall you wont see very much. I went to get water from the snack bar and it cost $5 for a can of water! Yes I said a can. With the number of bodies pressed together in the standing room only 1st floor it was extremely hot and stuffy. I felt like I was in a crowded bar. Not a place I would want to return to but The concert was very enjoyable.
Have loved this venue since I was a teenager.
Loved the venue when I went to the Shrek Rave. It was relatively spacious, and I didnt get overheated despite the number of people in attendance. My only gripe is that there couldve been more bathrooms, and the drinks were overpriced. When youre in a space where you can fit over a hundred people, there needs to be some form of accommodation for that as well. Regardless, Id definitely go again.
This was our first time at this venue. We wish we had known about ticket upgrades, we would have paid extra to be upstairs. The bathrooms are very inadequate for this size of venue. It was a great show and we would return, it was definitely an intimate setting. We would have felt safer if our vaccine cards had been checked, we were told before the show that they would be.
Show was great. Event staff wasn’t. My HEMP wraps were taken at the door, I asked if I could pick them up after the show and she said no—pretty sure she just wanted to smoke them herself. I saw lots of actually illegal substances being done in the venue so it lowkey felt like I was targeted.
Not what it used to be and that wasnt even great. The only plus of this venue is their sound system. It is that hard to have actual limes and lemons for the current price of drinks?! Seats used to be available, first come first serve in the bar area, now that area was reserved and barely occupied...it was a bad look to deny access to an area for imaginary guests.
Very nice standing room. Convenient bars on both sides of the venue. Not horribly cramped for a smaller venue & sold out show. Was just there for the VV Neon Noir tour. We had a lovely time!
Great place for a venue, the drinks were great, and the space is always amazing there.
Pretty great venue for a show. The sound inside is awesome. Ive always liked the layout too. The beer price is a little steep but they are large beers. I kind of wish there were more options and parking can suck here. But other than that I always love seeing some music here
The security and management team were absolutely amazing. They care about the safety of the ppl inside of the venue. We had a health situation and they were quick, professional and made sure we enjoyed the show. Id give more stars if I could
This venue sucks! The entrance area with merch booths arent wide enough to move past anyone even without a merch line. The layout is a maze of random tables and restricted vip areas to try to get from the floor to the bar. And on top of everything else they oversell the shows so that IF you can get to the actual floor youre trapped by the crowd and have to fight to get out. If 0 stars was an option, this place gets it
I love this venue. I love the sound. I love how close you are to the stage. And I love how there isnt a bad spot to be inside since the floor slopes slightly. Ive never had a bad experience.
A beautiful historic venue with modern sound! Had such a blast with Ava Max, Band of Silver and The Scarlet Opera! The acoustics, bar offerings and customer service are great.
I’ve been to a lot of venues in Philly but I’ve got to say that the employees at the TOLA are the nicest and most helpful. Thanks for your work and kindness! You guys made a fun event all the more enjoyable.☺️
I was here for a Willow concert a few months back. The performance and sound were great, but the venue itself was unsafe. The show had to pause several times because people either passed out or were about to. Even I had trouble breathing and had to force myself to stop dancing and singing every so often or I would pass out too. I’ve been to sold out shows before at other indoor venues and this was never an issue anywhere else—the ventilation and crowd control in this venue was one of the worst I’ve ever seen.Access to water was also hard—my friend and I were super thirsty after the concert (on account of almost passing out) and I asked the staff for water and they said no and had already shut down the entire bar. So we had to walk out of the venue dehydrated and pray that a local bar was open and would give us water. We were not the only ones—we overhead several other groups leaving saying how thirsty they were.It was so hot in there and so packed with no water, I’m surprised this venue hasn’t gotten in trouble yet. The show itself was great—it’s a shame the venue was such a letdown.
Concert wasnt too bad. Shouldve had more actual seats for the cost of tickets! Rating it a 3 because of the horrible, rude bartender with blonde hair and glasses that gave all the customers a hard time and bad attitude :-)
The entrance process was quite bad, with a lot of delays that left us standing in the rain for nearly two hours, but the location is in a very nice part of Philly, and the inside is nice for shows.
Amazing Venue! Went there for the first time to see Set it off and the staff was soo nice! They gave out bottled water to the crowd and security was on point! Big and spacious too!
Nice venue.. a lot bigger than what it looks
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE TYPE ONE DIABETIC. They are NOT ADA compliant and do not care if you are disabled. Disrespectful, uneducated staff
Just letting you know you have a thief working for you . I delivered food and she says she didnt receive it when I put the food in her hands. Fat white girl with blonde hair . She was up front checking tickets
Awesome small venue for intimate shows. Whenever I see any artist that I really like come to this venue, i do not miss it! The compact space makes the experience twice as incredible and fun. The TLA will forever be one of my favorite venues in Philly.
The worst concert venue in philly for someone with anykind of anxiety. Poor layout, they over sell the space so much its a safety hazard. Bar and bathrooms are way to small for the amount of people they cram in there. You cant walk without unfortunately being forced to push through other people.
So generally speaking staff was terrible. They were not clear on instructions and would make contradictory statements. I would recommend eating before you come. Not only are food choices limited things to like chips, hotdogs, and hummus but it is overpriced beyond what I would expect at this type of venue. One staff member, in charge of things related to seating and general enjoyment of patrons, kept this from a one star review. She was nice and polite even when running around venue. She knew what she was talking about and her responses didnt change. Other than her, this venue was saved from one star due to the stage and house areas. Both are very nice and have semi intimate feel. If you want to sit, however, youll have to book that through the venue and not through the ticket provider (unless youre buying the tickets there of course). The biggest qualm with this is these areas that are barricaded arent watched very closely. Its easy for people who didnt pay the $40-100 per ticket fee are able to slide in and take seats.
Just came home from a concert here. Great venue, clean bathrooms, great staff. My only complaint is that it is way to darn hot!! Turn the AC on or something! Other than that, I had a great time here and would definitely come back again (perhaps in a colder month, though).
One of my favorite venues. Great energy. Great acts. Drinks are very overpriced, but thats to be expected. I love hearing that an artist I like is performing here because I know its going to be a great time.
It was my first time there. As small as it is when you walk in, the space is nice for a show!! I love smaller venues. It makes the show more intimate. The sound was phenomenal! My friends and I truly enjoyed our night! I am looking forward to going to many more shows here in the future!
