We attended an Illenium show at The Pool After Dark so our experience wasnt the norm for its regular club experience. The dress code was incredibly lax compared to what was listed online. Probably because we all bought tickets ahead of time for the event instead of the normal cover charge club experience. They did however vet people for any safety issue garments like hats and sharp things.Basic drinks were $16 in small 12oz plastic cups. They did completely fill them at least. While I dont feel the venue is ideal for an EDM show, I think they did a great job handling a VERY packed house. Security were on point and the only physical altercation I saw was swiftly handled and removed. No injuries other than people slipping on wet steps. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly. My only complaint is one guy was leading the bottle girls out to the VIP area and he liked to beam people in the eyes with his flashlight (not the strobing wand thing - just a straight up flashlight). And I get it, he was dealing with the VIP d!cks (it was a VIP who got dragged out by security) all night, but the people crowding the steps werent being rude or refusing to move. We were just trying to watch the light show in an extremely packed space. Dude with the light didnt need to blind people to get them to part. I watched plenty of people get by with a single hand pat to the back. The general admission crowd were honestly really friendly and mostly behaved considering the amount of booze and weed and high energy of EDM.Clubbing isnt really my thing so I doubt Id return for a regular evening but for another DJ event? Yeah, Id definitely come back out.
I came to the Pool After Dark with my boy and a group for his birthday for Illenium. He booked us a table in a cabana. They gave us specific wristbands for VIPs who got tables. In the middle of Illenium’s set, he left to go to the bathroom and get some air near the exit. He didn’t actually exit, but one of the security guards decided he was too intoxicated and told him to leave. He tried to re-enter but none of the people in the security team would let him back in, citing that they weren’t letting anyone in. However, me and other people in our group saw several other people being allowed to enter. He was not belligerent or doing anything that warranted being kicked out.He was the one paying for the $3000 table; he was literally paying for the paychecks of the people not allowing him back in. I don’t see how management can just allow this to happen and not do anything about it. Completely ruined our experience and we will not be returning.
Our show was oversold and the venue hit max capacity before the main act took the stage. The line stretched around the perimeter of the venue, while the staff waited for guests to leave in order to let other guests in. Towards the sides of the venue, the sound bleed is horrible, and you can’t hear the music playing without echoes.
Zero stars. I paid $400 for 2 nights and they stuck me next to the loudest Hispanic family with screaming children that actually screamed all day and night. Refused to change my room when I asked. Never ever again will I go here. All of the staff are ghetto as hell and don’t care at all. All of the staff act entitled and juvenile. Will never come back in my life time.
Lets just say its not worth the hype. Went here Friday night for my 40th birthday never been but heard that it was good place to party. Me and my husband wait and we made sure we checked the dress code. We were given free admission tickets to get it but its normally $20 a person. We get to the door to check in and showed the tickets. The person at the door told my husband his shorts were not allowed. Now mind you, they were like not baggy, ripped, and or sweatpants. The door guy was like let me check with the manager. My husband said my shorts have a zipper the guy says your good you can enter. We are then greated by the security who then checks your ID. We then get to the metal detectors and the guy checks my bag in which I have a travel size perfume in which he says I cant take it in Im like what do you think ima do with this. I say can I get it after the club he says no we throw then away. Im luke you got to be kidding me. I just let it go then enter the club. We get to the bar mind you 1 bar, and there is only 2 bartenders for the amount of people in there was crazy. Took a while for a drink, we get 2 shots, a beer, and a high noon and it was $57 dollars extremely expensive. The dance area is at the front were the stage is and the cabanas are all around the pool no were for people to sit that dont reserve spots. The DJ was good and there was a upstairs area that was blocks off. This place was over rated. Mind you you then had guys entering in sweatpants shorts, white tees, and ripped jeans but then had the nerve to give my husband a problem and almost not let us in.
Bad experience. The establishment tried to host a comedy event for the first time and it was poorly orchestrated. We actually paid for VIP (Which youd think would be exclusive but was not - other people who didnt pay for the VIP section was still given the opportunity). The talent was bad and the sound was horrible. We couldnt enjoy the show. We were double charged and received our food 15 before for the short show ended ,(apparently the kitchen is in a different building?) Whats more is that we were rushed out of the place towards the end of the show to make sure for the next show. Do better please.
Beautiful decor! I went on a Sunday, so atmosphere was very chill. The music was very low, would have been nice if it were a bit louder. Our server never came to us, so we had to flag down another, and she was Fantastic! Her name was Lexus. She was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the pool events. Will definitely go back.
Because a member of our group got kicked out, our entire party got kicked out although we had just ordered a second round of bottle service and did not cause any problems while in our VIP table for the last 2 hours. The security personnel were rude and unprofessional. One of them put her hands on both me and my husband trying to prove authority. She called me names and used curse words. The manager did not look at CCTV when asked nor did he give us a discount on the brand new bottle that we did not have the opportunity to drink. Instead he poured some unknown substance in a to go container and offered it to us which we respectfully declined because the bottle was not labeled as to what was inside. We Will take the matter into higher up hands as well as CC company to dispute it because the way we were treated were both unfair and out of line. Avoid this place at all cost!
Step right up to this ghetto, raggedy excuse for a pool party! Isnt it fun to pay a ridiculous entry fee to not get in the pool? Isnt it awesome getting all medication of ANY kind taken or denied entry, like a bottle of Advil and your allergy medication? Arent dress codes for the fake pool party the cutest?? Isnt it amazing to get bottle service without chilled drinks???And the DJ arriving 3 hours late is so freaking incredible!!! Who says the main headline starts after midnight! Like who really does that? Where they do that at? I can honestly say this is so... differently different!!All of this and more too can be yours at Re-Res kiddy pool n ghetto backyard! Wait...this is Harrahs? Trash! Straight garbage!Staff was nice...that was it. No getting in the pool or hot tub. No Advil! No FOOD! Not Nothing. This is play pretend!!!
1. Hotwater was horrible in my room. Couldnt use the bathtub. Sometimes its cool and sometimes its warm/hot.2. The pool was suppose to be free. I paid the resort fee. Suppose to be included. They charge guest $10 per person during the week and $30 per person on the weekend. Line was too long at guest services to complain. No where was pool charges advertised: not on website or in hotel except at pool. You also need i.d. for the pool and cc only. Sorry cash people no pool for you.
Supposed to be a specific DJ. Just music playing. Was 10$ a person when i got to the hotel (should be free for guest staying at Harrahs) but at 10ish it went up to 25$ a person, just to get in. With taxes and fees it was 60$ for two people just to walk in. No where to sit unless you rent a 500-2500 booth/cabana/table. Overall not worth it never go again. I went and saw that’s about it.
OBSESSED DO YOU HERE ME! I legit used to go every weekend but people are lame and I don’t wanna go alone so it has become a few times a year! My experience is different every time I come but I promise you it is always for THE BEST! After two Long Islands I’m in that pool you hear me! Section prices aren’t horrible if you’re in a group. The pool is everything! Rooftop, bars, I love it all lol! My pics will prove that! I’ve only gone once out of the million times and not enjoyed the music. Paris Hilton and Paula D are two of my fav Djs they’ve had! Went to Harris in Vegas expecting the same vibe! THEY HAVE NOTHIN ON AC you hear me! Of course I recommend and I’ll be back, duh😂
It was an amazing experience. Highly recommend. Fun time. Follow the dress code. I recommend bringing nips in your pocket because the bar gets insanely crazy. Dont give the bartender cash when its busy because he wont give you change back. I have him a $20 bill for a beer and he automatically assumed it was a tip. It gets too loud to hear sometimes but its a great experience.
I spent over $40 for a ticket in, I was let in with no problems and once I spent two minutes inside the club I was thrown out for wearing timberlands. The host told me there was no problem with my outfit and I was fine and the moment I asked for a refund he did not help me at all. If you go to this club don’t be surprised if they give you a hard time for no reason because I’ve seen it happen to more people than just myself. Save your money and go someplace better. Horrible people
Last time I went to this club in March 19 there was more people in the pool at the club then I ever saw it. The DJ was okay, didnt have much Rhythm though. Dress code varies from person to person even tho they say that they have a strict dress policy. Bars on both sides of the pool as well as gaming tables. Drink prices also vary Night by night so be on the lookout for that. For a general night (non celebrity night) entry is $10 which isnt bad.I come to this club every time I stay at Harrahs. The only thing they need is more speakers on the back of the pool so so the music doesnt sound so muffled
The pool party was a terrible experience and I wish we didnt go. The staff acted like they were doing us a favor despite us spending a lot of money (1200+) there. We had one security guard non-stop staring at our table and running to yell at us if someone as much as put their knee on the bed. We got told that they would ask us to leave when we werent even doing anything disruptive. The music and the whole atmosphere was disappointing. Save your money and dont support this venue.
Maybe RACISM.. I’m actually a real estate investor who own properties in Atlantic City, I live in Manhattan Ny so clubbing and dress code is not new to me. I respect the dress code policy wherever I go however I think the promoters or casino should hire better people at the door, I was there for this past Super Bowl event as i approached the door the guy at the door was busy in a conversation when I asked politely was this the entrance being that during the day people entered threw the back.. he kept on with his conversation as if he didn’t hear me.. I then proceeded to walk in when he then tells me I need a ticket.. I showed him the ticket then proceeded to security as I’m going threw security the guy at the door comes in and tells security ohhh I didn’t see his boots and told security it’s up to them if they want to let me in.. first off sir these are $400 shoes not to mentioned I wore these same shoes right here at the pool party 2 days before to see james Kennedy Dj.. the security was cool I went in and enjoyed my night. What’s funny is I get in and see people swimming in the pool (( which they don’t always allow )) and I see people with hats, sneakers and jackets in the pool area.. once again I’m in investor in the AC short term rental market I know they usually make people check in hats and jackets in the lobby. Abit odd your telling me about my $400 boots while people are barefoot jumping in the pool, guys are wearing dirty sketcher sneakers and have jackets on.. Once again i was just there Saturday night with the same shoes on.. I don’t allow people who stand at doors dictate my fun or outcome nor do I believe that’s the intention of Harrahs or whoever runs the after dark pool party, so I can’t fault them however I’m just putting my experience out there !!!
Came to the Ron Jaworski Golf event last Sunday, and had a blast meeting all the athletes. The food was solid, and it was a really fun and interactive night. First time getting out to the outside portion of the club, pretty cool! The Johnny Walker blue samples were the perfect night cap. Thanks for having me!
We have been coming to Harrahs to bring in the new year for the last couple of years we always enjoy ourselves! My one only complaint is how nasty the bathrooms are! After spending over a $1000 for a vip section there’s no way I should feel like I’m going to catch something! Wet dirty floors , piles of toilet tissue all over the bathroom floors, no toilet paper to use, just totally unacceptable for the money that we’re paying we expect a nice clean safe environment! Having staff to regularly clean the bathrooms during heavy crowded times would really be nice!
Security is prejudice at least, my two friends had the same exact blue flannel on, one was white one was black, but my black friend had to take his off and the white one was able to leave his on, these were the same exact jacket.I tried to approach two managers and they actually looked at me and ignored me then the third Carlos said we don’t let stuff with zippers in but buttons are fine? He then realized I was talking about my friends (the rest had to take their jackets off too) and he started backtracking, “oh his jacket was black” then he said their place couldn’t be racist or anything because most of the bouncers are Spanish or Black. We’re all paying 35 to get in they shouldn’t act this way.
The setup and everything is nice but it only caters to certain races. This was my 2nd time there and they never play any hip hop or Rnb music. The last time they played a bunch of Dominican music and because there were 10 black ppl there we heard 2 hip hop songs. They need to embrace all cultures. The price in the weekend is ridiculous. I stayed in the hotel it should have been covered under the resort fee.
Went to the pool during THE DAY. This past Saturday. The DJ was great the pool area was nice the 5 stars goes to Kira our server. I wish I could give her 10 stars! She was not only attentive but was pleasant and helpful and at least if she didnt enjoy her job, she did a great job, pretending like she did. She even let me borrow her nail glue because she heard me complaining about my nail that had just broken. My sister ordered the wrong thing and she came back and clarified before putting in the wrong order - anyone else wouldve just put it in. She is An absolute superstar angel. All the security guards were very attentive, and also very friendly and helpful. As far the the pool goes its 21+ which I love, the atmosphere is nice. Theres an outdoor like sun bathing area and bar I didnt know was there until we left. They provided towels. They dont serve food but you can order from other establishments inside the hotel and they will bring it to you which was great so you have options. Its probably better this way because one of the reasons Im giving them three stars instead of four or five is because after we decided to leave for the day and having an overall really great experience, a giant cockroach that had to be at least 3 inches long crawled across the ground and under the couch my sister was sitting on. It was not a little baby cockroach that just may have found its way in there. It was a big one that seemed to be a regular guest considering the size. It did give me a sense of relief they did not serve food but still an obvious sign that the regular cleaning that needs to but done when you allow food to be brought in is not being done properly. The other reason I cannot give them a better rating is because for the size of the hotel and the amount of guests that stay there the available pool chairs is lacking. When you pay a cover to get in thats fine but you have to have a little more accommodations for those people. All the cabanas and additional spaces were empty, and there was an influx of people with nowhere to sit if you werent in the pool. Also people were like leaving their towels and stuff on the chairs when they were leaving so people thought that the chairs were taken when they really werent so I think they could do a better job of keeping track of people using the chairs so that other people can use them if they are no longer being used. or allow people to utilize the empty cabanas that havent been rented for the day to give some more space. It just seems like for the size of the hotel the amount of available pool chairs, and space to keep your stuff is extremely limited.
Both day time and night time we saw numerous large roaches around the pool. I get things happen but when you’re spending thousands on bottle service, the last thing you want is a roach on you… which yes it did happen and was extremely gross. Many bartenders and servers are extremely nice, but the security team is extremely unprofessional and rude. After being falsely accused of insulting someone by a random person who was clearly starting issues with random groups of people(not just us) the response from security was to ask if I should be escorted to my room? Not even look into what this person was saying, not the fact that I had never even been where this person was saying the issue occurred? Or even the fact that we had spent quite a bit of money on bottle service here and were polite and friendly with everyone to the point where other staff and bartenders were basically friends at the end of the night… still the security guard’s first response is to say to escort me back to my room? I don’t think Borgata, Ocean resort or any other casino treats their “vip” customers this way… nor has roaches at the vip tables or at the pool..Needless to say we’ll take our business there next time instead.
I had fun with my husband celebrating my birthday! We also came 4 years ago and had a blast. I was also in there in the past for a bachelorette party. I appreciate you guys for accommodating us!
A bachelor party was set up with Tom and he did an amazing job at answering all my questions and making sure the bachelor party had a great time. the space was clean, staff was friendly and the group had a very fun time. Would recommend bottle service pool after day to anyone!
Trash club. Turned down for wearing appropriate dress code. Also place smelled like sewage and it was dead
Went here for the 1st time over the weekend and I was annoyed before I even got in. Dont get me wrong, I love that they do bag checks. But security tossed my tiny bottle of Advil (no pills allowed) and mini HAND SANITIZER from Bath & Body Works. When I asked why I couldnt have that, he just said its the clubs policy. Ive been to countless concerts, conventions, etc. and never encountered such a rule before. I was livid.Anyway, the music was completely impossible to dance to (one noise he played sounded like someone screaming and I wished I had my Advil!). We also went with the intention of seeing Vinny from Jersey Shore because it was advertised that hed be popping in for an appearance. Idk if we missed him (we were there 11pm to about 1am and couldnt take anymore), or if it was poor planning/false advertising on the clubs part - he had back to back Chippendales performances, plus post-show meet and greets, that night.Cool looking place at least.
I had an amazing time last Sunday here at the pool. Everyone from the beginning to the end was friendly and welcoming. The nightclub it’s self is beautiful and the music was chefs kiss and the bottle servers are beautiful and very attentive. My section was right by the dj booth so we were in perfect position to see Dj Adoni. The pool is definitely a vibe.
I have been here before Covid and it was fun. Then I went here again recently… it was trash! Music was awful… just random beats. Nothing to vibe to. Inside the club felt congested. Nobody was in the pool and it’s just looked dry and boring! Spent 35$ to get in.
The pool was really fun. The music was HORRIBLE!! The DJ’s are a couple of white guys with their girlfriend getting high! The techno music was alll day and alllllll night you almost get a headache from it😔
Racist establishment. Citing dress code despite letting others in with same attire. Offered to enter with 20+ people and get a section. They said we were out of dress code with nice clothes and again… as they let in Caucasian patrons with the exact same attire as us. In 2023, this is completely unacceptable and the men at the front door were ok with their treatment.
Was just there on Saturday, November 27 and it was awesome it was for my bachelorette party it was seven girls. we had a table we had drinks and everything the atmosphere was awesome we had so much fun drinking, dancing, and just having a great time. The staff was amazing, They made sure that we were never out of our drinks took good care of us cleaned up anything that spilled. The security was so nice we didn’t have no problem with people trying to sneak into our area they took care of everything very nicely my girls they all enjoyed the night as well I love the pool I’m always gonna be recommending it I’ll definitely be back for my sister’s birthday and other parties in the future
THE POOL IS CLOSED, and the DJ is not great dont waste $30/60
Good for Fridays, skip on Saturdays. Very large space so it can feel disjointed, but the dance floor is tiny and very close to the water, although no one fell in. Lots of cabanas and tables available. Definitely a good place for groups, and I saw a lot of couples as well. Music depends on who’s playing that night.
On Saturday, December 10, 2022, my three friends and I all went to the Pool After Dark while staying in Harrahs hotel. We reviewed the dress code posted on line addressed accordingly. We arrived at the Pool around 10:00 PM. Upon approaching the security line to have our ID’s checked a guard in the presence of a manager denied is all entry stating that our platform heeled boots are not allowed in the club. We notified him that we reviewed the policy before we arrived and the boot policy was stated no Timberland boots or work boots allowed. The S/G stated that they will still not allow us in the venue. We escalated to a lower Management level who notified us that he would contact his manager. While waiting for a response from a higher management our group observed multiple while people enter the venue with similar style boots. Another rep rom the club approached us and we’re notified that they were going to perform a refund for all 4 tickets. No one notified us of the refund until this person approached us. We flagged down the the lower manager who stated we would not be let in. We notified him of the other people who went in on a similar shoe style of us. He did not respond to us notifying us of the other people who entered the venue. We requested the higher manager Mr. Moody who stated that the treads of our boots were not allowed in the venue. We verified that the most recent dress code was the one displayed online and in front of the venue. Me. Moody confined it was. We pointed out that we were not wearing timberlands or work boots and were denied entry to the club. He also attempted to say the clothes that we were wearing were bathing suits. We were wearing leather soooo. We were still denied entry to the venue. They DO NOT UP HOLD THE RULES THAT THEY HAVE DISPLAYED. We will never ever ever stay at Harrahs or attempt to go to the pool after dark again due to the inconsistencies in their policy. You never know if you can get in or not due to how they feel that evening. Our money is just as green and no one ever apologized for the inconvenience just processed aRefund and ruined my birthday so thanks.
Even though they have a sign that says Diamond members as well as Seven stars are free plus one guest when we tried to get into club with our Diamond status, we were told no. The guy at the door was incredibly rude as was the manager. When I told them there was a sign that clearly stated Diamond Members free with one guest he was extremely rude. Needless to say we left. The Pool after dark charges 20 bucks on a regular night and tomorrow when DJ Pauly D will be here it will be alot more money. That was exactly what I was told when I inquired about tomorrow night. I guess giving us people of color an exact dollar amount is something they dont normally do. Not worth the bother, I mean its not like its an actual real club.
The place is really nice but the music was horrible that day I went. I was so unlucky to go there when DJ Nico Oso was playing. It was so bad that people kept leaving as they came in. The Dj would play music in speed burst and no one could enjoy any songs. It felt like 2min or less each song. I just got sick of it and left early as well. Save your money if he is playing for the night.
Biggest scam out here! Now why would you advertise pool after dark just to get a crowd of ppl in 1 spot standing around listening to techno music! Song after song just ran into next song with same beat and rhythm followed by a supposedly popular dj screaming put your hands up all night. No pool and no food. Its a big NO for me! A damn waste of $40 and my time.
This place, management & promoters are a piece of Sh!+. The promoter offered to swap a bottle of Tito’s that we don’t drink but failed to mention we were swapping for a $200 less bottle. When I figured it out. He said “ I’m sorry you didn’t know” excuse me ????? We paid 1k+ and you tell me I’m sorry your employee wasn’t competent enough to deliver the correct information. I get one customer doesn’t hurt the business but I willNever spend my money here…. I was polite and sincere about the situation, I too am a business owner and I understand mistake or miscommunication is apart of the territory, but to not right your wrongs is Disgraceful and I can not support anyone who doesn’t put customer service first. The manager was sarcastic as if he was proud I was played out of $300. The server jasmine agreed it did make sense and he still was adamant that it was what it was and nothing could be done. FRAUD !!!!!
I went on a Friday night around 11 and it was packed!!There was great dancing music. The only thing was they made us take our jackets off and check them in at the front desk.(It wasnt that bad, I wouldve lost it anyway) They definitely follow a certain dress code. Most ladies wore heels, but I wore huaraches and I was fine. As long as you look hot, theyll let you in! The drink prices were average( 8$ for a cranberry and vodka) IT WAS LIT!!!!!
I’m currently still here(because it’s my friend’s birthday) but I will never return…. I payed 30.00 to have a bartender tell me he wouldn’t serve me at the bar. I couldn’t find the manager but I’ll let you know here that it’s unacceptable. He made a mistake, refused further service to my friend, but then trickled down that bad service to me. It was his fault with her. But had absolutely nothing to do with me. He lost 20.00 from just me. How many times do you think he has done this? Unprofessional
Worst experience ever. There were two lines to get inside, one line for general admission and another line for the people who purchased the tickets in advance online. We were waiting on the line for almost an hour to get in and the doors were closed on us and no one was allowed in. Everyone who already bought the tickets online were furious, including us, because we had already bought these tickets online. The man at the door told us we can go online and call a number on the website to get a refund. It took me two weeks to finally reach someone after trying to call everyday and being bounced around too many times. After many attempts to reach someone they ultimately told me that the tickets were sold by a third party vendor and it stated on the ticket that no refunds are allowed. We were entitled to get into the event because we bought the tickets in advance, the doors were shut on us even showing the ticket to them that we had purchased them in advance. It does not seem fair at all that we did not get in but general admission was. I am extremely upset and unhappy with the organizers who did nothing about my issue. I am not recommending Pool after dark at all to anyone who is going to Atlantic City. The people in the front were rude and their actions should be brought up to someone in charge. I will never go back to Pool After Dark, the absolute worst experience EVER!
Horrible, a few days before my reservation they closed the pool for renovations without telling me, found out 3 days before by scrolling through Instagram. When I spoke to the front desk, the customer service representative assured me it was open and Im politely saying your Instagram says no. Later, I was told I would not receive any comp or room upgrade for this inconvenience. Please go and party at Oceans instead. Save yourself from this place
I came to the pool after dark, with a broken foot and tickets to the Pauly D event on Saturday night. The lady told me I needed heels with a back. I have a broken foot and I obviously cannot wear heels, if I have a cast on my foot. I will not be coming back here again. I drove over two hours to the event, only to get turned down and drive all the way home. The staff was so rude and I could not even get a refund. I was so disappointed and disgusted by the staff at Harrahs. No I got no remorse for having a broken foot. A complete waste of my money.
The absolutely worst experience Ive ever had in Atlantic City. I went to see Nelly June 1st here are a list of complaints...1. Wanted to check out the club the night before and was told it was a $20 cover... I paid $23 the next night for Nelly. Why so much when theres no guest DJ or performance?2. Tickets for the concert are not upheld if you dont arrive before 11pm but Nelly didnt start his performance until 1:30 am3. Security is rude and dress code policies seem to be less policy and more personal critique. The policy states no sheer SWIM SUIT. I was told my sheer body suit with non sheer undergarments was not allowed because it was sheer. My friends where sent back to their rooms to change multiple times as well. Each time there was a different problem. When we got in their staff had less clothes on than what I wasnt allowed in AND many people had on the exact garments my friends where asked to change.4. This place is a death trap! After waiting hours for the 20 min performance we were not allowed to leave through the nearest exit. We kept being forced to go through the crowd to another area where we were again asked to go somewhere else. Each time this required us to walk through a very inebriated and violent crowd where there was no security to be seen.5. I tried to address these issues and others I had with my stay with Harrahs directly but I was given the run around. After over an hour and at least 10 phone calls I was left even more upset with Harrahs as a whole. So sad to see this former gem change into tarnished rubbish.
The dj was okay and the drinks were the price you expect for AC. However, multiple security and bouncers told us we could get back in whenever. Our friend needed to be walked back to her room, but “because the doors closed” we couldn’t get back in. No one mention the fact that the doors closed at midnight...even though we came in at 11. yet everyone told us we could come back inwhenever: absolutely ridiculous when we couldn’t get back in. Know that the $35 only pays for if you actually stay the whole time
DO NOT GO HERE. Management is very unprofessional. Charged us for something we didn’t receive and said it was our fault for accepting it! Like wow. MUSIC is horrible and on a Saturday night it’s no one in here! You can’t get in the pool after Covid!! Definitely discriminatory against a lot of people. I will never give my money to this club again.
Terrible Terrible Management! Me and my husband we used to go to the pool party almost every other week for long time. To be honest party is pretty cool. We spend a lot of money every time inside the club. But, this time everything was so complicated. First, they send me back to hang my coat all the way to the other side of the hotel (which was fine). After we came back they said that the hoodie that my husband was wearing wasn’t appropriate ( very light Armani hoodie) which was weird because they never had problems with this kind of clothing. I talked with them and told them that we had 2 hour drive to get there, paid for hotel and tickets, and we always came to the party. Anyway, they didn’t let us in. Fine! After that, we asked them to give us, at least, our money back (47$) and we waited for manager a while and when he came he said that they couldn’t return our money which was too upsetting.
If I could give 0 starts I would. Came here on a Friday night, hoping to get things going. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, paid $30 to get in. Drinks were way overpriced and lukewarm. The DJ was worse than mediocre. He was playing nickelback remixes on repeat. I didn’t think this was a middle school dance. In all, this place did not pass the vibe check. I should’ve just went to bed.
Back in September I took my boyfriend to Atlantic City for his 21st birthday. He had just finished training for the Navy and used leave time from the military to come and celebrate with his family and friends. We pre-bought tickets to this nightclub to bring him to see DJ Pauly D. It was a NIGHTMARE!! When we first got there, we asked multiple people working for the club where to pick up our tickets. They sent us wandering back and forth throughout the venue, giving us all mixed answers. We even waited in line for a HALF HOUR because that’s what one person told us to do just for them to tell us we couldn’t get our tickets there and sent us BACK to a different spot. So after finally getting the tickets, we waited in line AGAIN just for the power to GO OUT minutes into being in the club! We weren’t able to see DJ Pauly D, couldn’t even buy drinks at the bar, and they had us LEAVE! We spent all this money on traveling to Atlantic City, to stay in a hotel, and then on these tickets just to take him to a cool club for his 21st. Now they won’t even give us a refund and are saying we have to wait until January (after we’ve been trying to get a refund since SEPTEMBER!) I do NOT recommend this place!!
My friend paid for four tickets for a Saturday night to see DJ Pauly D ($35 each). They were ordered online a week prior and held at will call. Upon arriving at the pool we saw a line longer than any Disneyworld ride we could have imagined. The line snaked around through the buffet, down the shop corridors and beyond the valet area. We stood in a 30 minute line for will call to pick up the tickets and then were told to stand in the giant line to get it. Nothing ruins your girls night out than standing in an endless line for hours. We did not go in, seeing that it was so crowded, unbearably hot, and impossible to move. Never again. $35 a ticket wasted. An absolute rip off to charge so many people that money to not get in. We were “guaranteed entry” but could not physically get in. Those who purchased tickets ahead still had to stand in the massive line with those who did not have tickets.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would, On September 28th I was planning on attending an event to celebrate my brothers 21st birthday who just completed training in the United States Navy. Upon arrival there was a long line, we finally get in there is NO electric, couldnt even get a simple drink at the bar on top of the fact we werent able to see the performer we paid to see due to no electricity. Everyone was asked to leave and escorted out by security. But wait, it gets better this venue or event planner didnt even have the audacity to refund us for not delivering the service promised on the ticket. I have made multiple phone calls and emails to these people, not a single response. I am wondering if this doesnt sit right with anyone else that this company just gets to keep your money when the service they promised didnt even happen due no electricity, a clear fault on their end. If anyone else is angered by this, please get in touch with me.
This place is awesome! the bartenders, security, & bottle girls were amazing! The dj is also great & plays a great mix of all music. The environment & vibe is the place to be. if you’re in atlantic city for vacation & wanna party definitely go to pool after dark! The entrance fee was alittle pricy & you can’t bring big bags or hats inside. other than that great great place.
I had an amazing time!! The place is beautiful and I went on a Sat. When Wyclef was there. It was extremely crowded but I didnt care because the scene was lit! The drinks are pricey as hell but there are so many places to get trashed before going in. There dress code is ridiculous though, i feel like they pick and choose whats acceptable. The line waiting to get in can be crazy long but I think it all depends on the time you go.
We were here Friday night for a bachelorette party.. it was sooo fun! Great music, great crowd, strong drinks! Towards the end of the night we were at the bar (closest to the entrance) I thought I wanted another drink, ordered and when I received it, before i took a sip I felt really drunk all the sudden, the bartender and manager I spoke with allowed me to get my money back and replaced it with a water.. I thought that was awesome of them. Next time Im in a.c. Ill def be back!
Terrible club terrible service if youre in ac don’t come here
I was staying at Harrahs on a Wednesday and at the day time pool a great staffer and I were talking about the night club and she gave me two free passes.my niece and l had a great time. Drinks are a little pricey but wth even at my age l blended in with the young crowd and kept up as long as l could. The dance floor was jammed the music was loud and rocking. I thought l was back in my disco days. I was writing checks that my body couldnt cash. A great night.......
What a waste of time, don’t go there. Avoid the BS, no one seems to know what’s going on here or policy and procedures. As a manager myself for a 14.5 million store. What I encountered was the most disturbing lack of customer service I have ever seen. On Wednesday night I arrived, waited on line, got to the front explained I was looking to do bottle service. The lady at the front took my credit card and drivers license to start the process. As we walked in to the venue the bouncer stopped my friend and said he could not get in because of his shorts. Ok for me that would not have been a problem, but things took a turn for the worst when you can clearly see people had the same shorts on as him. But the most disturbing part was they were going to charge me 200 dollars for canceling. So the front where we had to pay to get in, no one said anything about his shorts. Than another lady who works there takes my credit card to start the bottle service and she doesn’t say anything about his shorts. But as soon as we enter and are headed to the VIP section we now get told his shorts are no good. But the audacity to tell me you are going to still charge me for 200 dollars for a cancellation. When in reality the team of people who worked there messed up. Why wasn’t I told about the shorts when we first got there. It’s shamwful and disgusting. If I had not made a scene about it, they would have charged me 200 dollars(FOR WHAT!). Because there team told me after the fact about his clothing? Be careful, it seems they were out for money and was trying everyway way to get it. That is not the way to run a business and this should be brought up to someone who should really look into it and I will find away. I will never go to this place ever again and I will make sure to tell my friends and I will post it on all social media as well.
Went when BOB was performing. He came really late and performed for like 4 songs and left. The place is huge but the dance floor is small by the DJ stage. So you can just dance around the pool area. But because of the dome structure above the music echoes and doesnt sound great. Rest of the night the DJ filling in was ok. Bar gets really crowded. Go there only when one of the famous DJs are playing.Would I go again. Maybe not.
We bought tickets to see Pauly D for a bachelorette party. The place was way over crowded and multiple fights broke out. They were also seemingly having some sound issues and Pauly didn’t even get on until around 2am. Nobody made any sort of announcement that they were even having issues. By the time he came on, everyone was drunk and irate. It was a waste of our money and to be honest, he sucked. He had zero energy. The DJ on before him was 10x better.
I am writing this review 5 months later (sorry😅).My friends and I cannot wait til this place opens up again! We went for my birthday in February and we had the best time of our lives! The vibe was just right, great music, nice pool and the casino table was an awesome touch too!
First and foremost... The DJ was terrible!! It was DJ Kennedy. Worst set Ive ever heard. Was really disappointed, we couldnt even dance. The opener was not bad at all, DJ Hope. DJ Kennedy literally just clicked a button and then had his girlfriend take pictures. Ruined the night. . . Other thsn that got table service, waiter/waitress were great. Hostess was great. No complains there. Just wish the DJ was better for all that money we spent.
The Pool After Dark is a great adult escape. The drinks are pretty good. On the expensive side. If you want to listen to a live DJ.... music was bumping.
The experience is great we defitnitley had a great time, Music and atmosphere is amazing. BUT what cought my attention was the difference in charge of the drinks. i was there friday with my husband celebrating our anniversary and we had the same drink each time. a malibu with pineaple and a jagger with rebull. so the first time we paid was $18, ok not bad. than we went for a second same exact order now they charged $25 ignored it didnt say anything, the third time we ordered same exact two drinks $23 !! what is that all about??? i dont get it. my husband was annoyed about that so we stopped buying anymore drinks.
$30 cover on a Friday night? Cash only (wack). You can’t go in the pool and it wasn’t even that lit of a place. DJ could have done better to get this place lit. 3 stars since the bartenders were nice. Past that, NOPE.
Security supervisors denied me because of my dress shorts having draw strings. Absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile there were people with jeans hanging off there ass! 😵Been a guest at this hotel for two days anticipating partying at the pool and after spending so much money in this hotel. Rude unprofessional people. Rent a cop is who they are!!! Haha jokes on you guys. And to the fat guy who threw me off the line, you get the employee of the year award you fat bastard!
John Summit here was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen!!! Atmosphere was electric and sound was thumping! Can’t wait to come back this summer for another banger
I get the club concept and think its pretty decent. I do think to much emphasis is put on night club. My girlfriend & i went for her birthday. We came down from our room with pool attire on and got turned away. We got sent back to our room 3xs. I feel like its a pool first before anything, why not let your guest in with swim attire on?
Went last night around 8pm, when it was not even busy. Sat at the bar and waited.... and waited. Bartenders there pretended we were invisible apparently. As we waited we witness the bartender serve the couple right next to us... and another bartender across the bar looking directly towards us a few times but still didnt get greeted. The kind lady next to us notice us waiting for a bit and offered us her food menu, but unfortunately we decided to leave. Good thing theres plenty of bars around so it didnt ruin our Sunday funday at Harrahs AC.
Last week Saturday was great with DJ Pauly D but paid $30 to get in. Last Night Saturday was $40 to get in..... I was taken by surprise. I coukd swear the website said advance tickets were sold out and general admission was $30. But no matter what $40 is ridiculas. There was no energy especially from the DJ.Very very disapointing. Nothing like the energy and music from Pauly D. So will I come back.....Im not sure....... you can buy tickets for 10 dollars less online but if its a k at minute , same day, or day before decision most likely they say sold out online and you will pay dearly when you arrive.......and if you the night is the energy level like it was last night..... you just wasted your 40 dollars plus 11 dollars for each mixed drink.Sorry Pool After Dark........I want to give a good review but it truly was a disapointing night.
Zero stars for this night club. They didnt allow my friend in because he had leather boots. But white sneakers are fine according to the manager! Trashy place with low class people! Dont go there! Go to Heaven or Premier!
It is an ok place. There is a nice pool and the music and drinks and the bartenders are really nice. But the problem with this place is some of the people here. All the guys look at you like you are trying to steal there girl and they try to pump into you as you go pass them. Like this one guy tried to fight me because His girl slipped and fell and i helped her up and he saw me helping her and he freaked out because i was holding her hand as i pulled her off the ground. luckly security escorted him out because of this.
Had a blast there! It was packed (went on a Saturday night). Music was good and drinks were good! Pricey but worth it, they usually have celebrities there on Saturdays. Bring your bathing suits!
Had a great time here! Drinks were good just a little pricey! But thats to be expected! Definitely a fun spot to visit to dance the night away and have a good time! You will not be bored with all the entertainment around you haha
Not sure why guys feel the need to drug young ladies, when there are sadly plenty of others that do not requiring being drugged. Young ladies please do not accept a drink from a guy you dont know! Do not allow your drink out of your sight and if you do, go buy another directly from the bartender! Especially at this place! The Pool After Dark is known for these things happening!
So ridiculously overpriced, Its actually comical how much they charge
Don’t bother going here. You buy tickets and bouncers won’t let you in. They came at us for no reason and said we can’t go in. This club is garbage don’t waste your money
The girls who have been there for years look old n washed up. Tara with the big nose n blonde hair looks like Carrie Bradshaw if thats what your taste is. Horrible DJ n way over priced drinks. Lines are insanely long n the place smells like sweat.
Worst service I have ever had. Terrible drink, tasted like water. Terrible service from the security, they were extremely disrespectful. Will not be returning.
Joke of a place and staff. You would think it’s like trying to get into the pentagon with the security and low IQ staff at the front. Just a bunch of losers charging $40 for a cesspool.
It was an alright experience. Definitely not worth the entry price sometimes. Going here is pricey and better with friends as the crowd can be dead and the drinks are too expensive
We went here last night and we was amazed. We from ATL and couldnt find no real night life spots. But this right here Exceeded our expectation. This really made our vacation last night. Now I will say the drinks was pricey. I spent $150 in drinks between me and my lady and still wasnt no where near feeling good but it still doesnt take away how amazing this place was.
Absolutely Disgusting, and they have the nerve to charge for entry. Delayed opening post party day before which they did a terrible job cleaning up after. All you get is so sorry so sorry and $20 please...
This place has such rude and mean people at service! I went there with friends, at night me and my friend fell from stairs and got hurt pretty badly. My knee was bleeding and next day I found out my right feet ligament was tored after a visit to ER! Despite me bleeding none of people came to help, instead the guard s kicked us out! This is so horrible.
Great music and fun placebut very small dance floor as the pool takes major area on the floor so it would be a good idea to stay there overnight and then enjoy the pool and music. But definitely a great experience. Drinks are expensive !
Very pretty, they have live music and a pool that you are allowed to go into so bring your bathing suit but you are required to wear clothes over it. Really nice looking area. The wait to get in can take a while. One time after waiting an hour they closed off
Pool after dark security guards denied me and 30 people I took there entrance because one of the 30 people said an insult to a security guard that was giving us an hard time to get in. After that when we got mad because we paid our way to get in and started making complaints! Because it was so many of us, they started asulting the men I had with me. The security guards slammed my boyfriend on the ground because he defended me when I was pissed at the front door & kept talking, no one touched anyone! They locked us up and then started to create lies, we were not refunded our money and they decided to give us fines. I will be suing this company and y’all will be hearing from my lawyer ! The security guards are super unprofessional and judge mental !
Came through at 11pm. Wouldn’t let me and my whole group in. It’s fine there is so many other places to party in AC so just moved to the next spot. Sounded quite anyway
Fun place to go for a Saturday night! The drinks are a bit expensive though and the pool is cold so would not recommend swimming there. But it’s a cool clubby night out if that’s what you’re looking for! Also, it’s a bit expensive to get into and they only take cash!
No diversity at all. Went when DJ Excel was mixing and he threw in one afro beat song when the party was over, very disappointing.
Horrible !! Had my Bachelorette party with a PRIVATE rental space for the pool after dark and got kicked out because random people were in my section!! never coming here EVER again !!!
More and more patrons are reporting contracting Covid 19 just days after going to Harrahs A.C.especially The Pool After Dark. Those who contract the disease report that they then spread the disease to anyone they lived with. Or friends they visited. Note: There was not an option for ZERO (0 Stars)
Very nicely made night club. Bit pricey but Pauly D was DJing that night so it could be the reason. Would love to go back to it. Be prepared to spend A LOT on drinks.
Really enjoyed this experience... was shocked to see the masses of people wanting to attend -- this night the (Ying Yang twins) were the special guest. The lines were LONG I waited a little over one hour for entry.
Had a blast dj was rocing Taya a pave to go with a big group and gave a great time. I went with my husband abs we dsnced the night awat. The bsrtender Mike really cool guy.
Great place tons of fun. You meet some fun people here. I love it here... Close up with celebritys. First time I went up close personal with Nick Carter 2nd time i went Bobby Valentino... Love it here. Im waiting to see Pauly D next..... ;)
It was the best night in all my life DJs are incredible! Go !!! You would never regret it ! Also go to strip clubs!!!
This place was so overrated. The pool takes up a large area of this location which make standing along side uncomfortable. We purchased tickets online and even though it clearly say u could showvur mobile phone we waited in line reached to the front and was told we had to get our go down the hall and get a physical ticket . So unprofessional !
Normally when I come its fun but sept 21st wasnt great at all...they only played music for 1 culture but wat about everybody else. This day was the worst I ever experienced.
Harrahs pool is open but prepare for an abnormal experience, pool rules change as the day go by, go early are you will have to reserve a spot when its full, drinks and food allow, pool boy may demand you drink through the mask, the entire pool crew act like bullys to the guests, enforcing COVID19 rules, security looking for any reason to kick you out of the pool under the disguise of pandemic laws, the pool still excellent, best pool ever, clean and well treated, but overall the harrahs customer service in and outside of the pool SUCKS.
Great place to party you can gamble inside the club most beautiful pool and hot tubs drinks are a little high but Ive always had a great experience been going there for 5 plus years now beautiful hotel to stay in Harrahs resort I would recommend to friends and family
Pool after dark is definitely great except for the drinks, “ it’s all juice or soda and half and ounce of liquor nasty
All the hot tubs were freezing..everyone crammed in one hot tub that was luke warm then pool was freezing...they said at check 4pm that the pool was closing at 6pm we actua)y had one hour a t the pool they said was on the website which never was posted ever.. I wanna make myself puke over the room was just nasty
The drinks are just sugar, they charge a lot money for no alcohol… don’t lose ur money
We got bottle service, after the first time pouring drinks we never saw our server again.. she still had my credit card and we couldnt find her so I had to cancel it.
Very good dj’s and best atmosphere for big parties. There are lot of tables around the pool. Best time to visit on Saturday’s
Good sized. Loud, but there are quieter areas. Decent prices, relatively speaking. And you can avoid paying cover if you do a little research.
Capitalism isn’t even fun! Definitely not worth it, keep your $35.
Terrible service the girl kicked out my friend because she was flirting with him and was uncomfortable because he wouldn’t tip her please don’t wAste your money on this place please
Who throws a pool party with a pool no one can get into. Its the stupidest thing ever All of that space wasted and everyone is crowded around the pool that they cant use.
Recently went to see a show here and it was advertised as a pool party but the pool was closed, it was a major disappointment especially since I dressed for the occasion. Definitely won’t be back
Decent venue. Tight area around pool, so not a lot of room near the stage, but plenty of room elsewhere, just a ways back
Only 1 bar wait as long as you want to not get served
Absolutely the worst!!! No one will get back to you to schedule or book and if they do it is weeks later, prices are outrageous and workers are rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this place at all. Very dissatisfied.
Shaquille Oneal aka DJ Diesel was awesome!💜💛💜💛
This is not a swim event. Its a stand around beside the pool club. Not worth what they charge.
Robert Brown the daytime manager and the staff is amazing. This is the place to go if youre in AC 💯
Pricey. Didnt live up to the hype for me. Pool is also very dirty
Its not that cool. Theres too much echo. The bartender was so rude. I dont think Ill be coming back soon.
Awesome. Great DJs, nice bartenders and the security does a great job keeping it all flowing.
Lit. But that pool smell makes you feel suffocated only good in the cooler months, when its hot outside its hot as hell inside thanks god they got the rooftop😃
The music was bad and the drinks here are unreasonably expensive. Worst experience ever!
Great atmosphere Great experience drinks were expensive but the vibe is unmatched
Definitely not worth $40 entry fee
I love that place , winter summer , doesnt matter , its always fun there
I was there on Saturday Nick Cannon DJd! Had a blast in the Jacuzzi VIP!
False advertisements..No Mayweather Fight. Should take yall To Court😡😠Only thing is the client party
Don’t know what’s worse, the prices or the dress code
I went before Covid hit and we had a great time. Loved it
Not a good club at all. Drinks are very expensive. 2 times have been there. Not any more.
I am a visitor from another country and was turned away at the door because they don’t accept my ID they say i need to show a state ID or my passport who goes clubbing with their passport and how are you to present a United States ID when you are a visitor
This is the go to spot on a Wednesday to party in AC. Usually a good crowd and mix of music.
Dont like the music on Saturdays nor the price. Is too expensive to listen to one genre all night.
This place needs to be boycotted. $17 for a shot! No. Just no
Men aren’t allowed to when dress sandals to a pool bar!!!! Who makes up these stupid rules!!! It is a pool bar!!!
Absolutely great and beautiful place to go ....Good vibes, great music, great crowd, great staff
Horrible
Best pool in Atlantic City. Great place to lounge by day and party by night!
Amazing service great foodGreat people and fun environment
Great pool parties and they usually have famous DJs
Had a great time here!! Great option for young adults under 35
Went there on New Years Eve and had a great time. Coming back soon
Bunch of early 20 somethings drinking too much and throwing up on themselves.
I went one time & loved it hope it’s open this summer
Dont waste your time
Fabulous place! DJ needs to be more mixed
Always a good time. not enough people in the pool after dark
I love this place. It’s always lit. Highly recommend
The pool is a lie
Nice af I loved my time there
Love this night club and the pool after dark 👍🥰
DJ Pauly D played non stop hits.
Most amazing indoor pool i have seen.
High prices, aggressive crowd, uninspired DJs.
One of the worst place to party !attitude bartenders
Favorite party spot of all time!
The Pool Party is Awesome...!!!The rooms are great...!!!!
Great drinks, awesome pool.
Love the vibes pool is very nice
Smells good, thats what 5 stars for!
Love this place. Get in free on guess list
Celebrating a birthday is great place to be

😀❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love this place
Dont like it.
Very nice place😍
Overpriced and underwhelming
Bad music.
Terrible service and agility when entering massive events.
DJ CHACHI DEBATE!!!!!
