I had a great experience checking in with Brianna and Campbell at the front desk. Cheryl came to get me for my facial appointment right on time. The appointment was very relaxing and I have been going to Cheryl for about a year now, and I can see the difference. Cheryl always takes the time to explain the products she uses and offers professional recommendations.

At this point I have had more appointments canceled on me (by massage envy) than appointments I have been able to attend. They call or text to cancel appointments (usually last minute ) and then don’t have any other offerings to offer so your just out of luckI have asked for a refund on my membership before and was told pretty much that I signed a commitment when purchasingDidn’t they also agree to provide a service when they sold this to me?Never again will I get a membership here nor get a massage here. There are so many better options, don’t waste your time or moneyAt this rate it will take me years to even use my 1 year membershipBuyers beware!!!!!!!!!!

I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Felicia. I am rating my experience as poor for the following reasons:1. Felicia never asked me how the pressure felt once she started, even after I had flinched/tensed up a few times. I told her to ease up on the pressure, and she did not. Then I told her That hurts! and she stopped, and then repeated the same thing that hurt me. And I said again, that hurts! Then she never checked back in with me during the rest of the massage.2. She rubbed my bones a lot, as opposed to my muscles. She applied way too much pressure to my shoulder bones and my hip bones. I am going to have bruises.3. Felicias nails scraped me when she massaged my hands. Never something you want to feel during a massage.4. She lifted the blanket up before asking me to turn over, and I am pretty sure she saw my breasts. Made me feel more uncomfortable.I did leave her a 10% tip because I felt so awkward about not liking the massage. I should not have tipped at all, and I should have said something at the front desk. Social anxiety and feeling dizzy afterward made me just want to get out of there. I am still posting this review because I keep thinking about how much I did not enjoy the experience compared to all the other massages I have had in the past. I have had deep tissue massages before, and they were great because my muscles were massaged. Not my BONES. And the masseuses made sure I was comfortable during the session.If you want a fantastic massage, please check out the Riverview Spa or the Venetian Spa. It is worth the money because the experience is top notch.

I’ve never been to Massage Envy before, but I’m having a spinal fusion next week so wanted to treat myself and try to relax and help my poor muscles that are in constant spasm.I was greeted at the front desk by the lovely Brianna! She was so friendly and complimented me which made me smile. She did a great job checking me in and covering all of my needs and expectations for the appointment. She really set the tone and I knew it was going to be a great appointment.My massage therapist was Kryste and she took the time to understand the nature of my spinal cord injury to be sure she took good care of me. She did a wonderful relaxing massage and she was super accommodating to my disability. I can’t rotate my spine so turning over on the table was a big challenge, but she was so patient, helpful, and kept me covered the entire time. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all and I’m self conscious about not being able bodied, but she really was the best! She really put me at completely peace and I left with such a happy spirit.Brianna checked my out at the end and was so helpful explaining the benefits of getting a membership. Because of her & Kryste, as soon as I recover from my spinal fusion, I will be joining as a member! Thank you so much!!

Just had an amazing massage experience with Greg. Made me feel comfortable, asked about pressure after starting, and didn’t smell like a stale cigarette which I’ve experienced before with various masseuses. Definitely recommend him and will be asking for him in the future!

Massage Envy front desk staff was very professional, extremely friendly and helpful.My massage with Amanda was amazing. She sat and listen when talking about where I needed massaged on my back. She had the correct pressure for those areas.I would highly recommend Massage Envy at Island Walk and recommend having Amanada as your therapist.You will not be sorry!

A 50 minute facial lasted barely 30! The products didn’t impress me or smell good. I had a microdermabrasion and mini facial which was not what I asked for. No looking under the magnifying glass to see if I needed extracting either. I think the esthetician was new ave not experienced. I’ll definitely go back to Hand and Stone.Update! Zero stars! The manager finally called me and basically told me that there’s nothing she’s willing to do! She was not very nice and really could care less about my experience. Bad customer service that’s for sure! I was totally taken advantage of and charged for services I didn’t receive. $150 for 30 minutes! I am glad I didn’t sign up for a membership!!

Sara is amazing. I don’t know how to word it other than she knows her way around human musculature. You’d think every massage therapist does, but that’s just not true. She calls it a treasure hunt and really does a fantastic job of finding areas that need work. She truly supports the mind-body connection and makes SURE to communicate what she’s doing and check in to make sure you’re okay. I already booked her again for next week.

THE WORST experience I have had in last 30 years!Honestly, I have no idea, how this place is even still open and did not go bankrupt!I have had massages done thousand of times in 20 countries, but THIS WAS THE WORST. Pretty much ,this was as if NOTHING had been even done at all!NOTHING! The ONLY technique the woman was using is smearing you woth some oil and glide it absent-mindedly onto your skin! PLUS, SHE WAS NOT STANDING, but setting on that chair! And EVERY REAL massage therapist from a good school KNOWS, THE RIGHT PRESSURE CAN BE APPLIED ONLY WHILE STANDING!If you want A REAL MASSAGE, GO Body and Sole place in Volusia mall! THEY DO IT THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE! I was in a simple SHOCK how BAD it was, and at the same time how expensive! Rip-off! Very misleading. I received a gift certificate for $40 for Massage. When I called I was told that I couldn’t get a massage until October and this is July. Then the girl said that I can get a 30 minute massage in the chair and it would be for 30 minutes. So I said OK but when I went to get my massage I received a 20 minute massage. The guy was very nice but he had the shakes. It was not pleasurable it was quite annoying. I do not recommend

Had 2 appointments at the Port Orange store scheduled for a friend and I to get massages. Both times we showed up and we’re told they only had appt for one of us and we got cancelled. Also, we’re told both times that one of their employees went home or didn’t show up. We will never go back!

Ive been going to Port Orange since they opened, went today to find out the appointments I had scheduled for an hour massage, followed by a facial were not available. Three and a half weeks ago I called and scheduled the back to back appointments. Drove 30 min there, checked in, waited another 30 min, as I am always early, and they tell me the appointments are not in there system? Really? Messed up my whole day. ALWAYS WRITE DOWN WHO YOU SPOKE TO! ALWAYS MAKE THEM CHECK THEIR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN AND WAIT 30 MINUTES FOR NOTHING! NEVER HAD THIS BAD OF SERVICE EVER!!!!!

If I could give this location a Zero I would. I’ve been a member faithfully for over 4 years. I have never been late on a payment. Port Orange, FL is my home base however I no longer reside in FL. I often visit the location in GA. I scheduled an Lymphatic massage appointment at the Massage Envy location Port Orange. I arrived at schedule time and I was assisted to the room I’ll be receiving massage. I explained to therapist that I’m post op and provided detailed information for my massage. Upon 15 minutes of receiving a massage I asked the therapist, “Are you specialized in lymphatic massages?” The therapist stated, “NO.” I was baffled as to why she was touching me after I explained my Post op condition and scheduled specifically a lymphatic massage. I asked to speak with a manager and got dressed. I explained the miscommunication and concerns to Manager on duty and simply received an apology and notified I wasn’t charged for session. A few days after miscommunication I arrived to GA swollen in pain from the type of massage I received. I contacted the Manager of location again expressing my concerns again and how I’m swollen from massage I received. My body is swollen in pain due to the roughness. Obviously I have to continue my massages for treatment purposes. I expressed to Manager that I should be credited a massage and was told pretty much “NO.” I’ve been a valued and loyal customer for over 4 years to Massage Envy lets calculate the math. For my pain and suffering I received an apology. I will be cancelling my membership because the company has failed me.

My daughter and I traveled from PA to FL for a mother-daughter trip. I booked facials for both of us with Angela and she was fantastic! Super friendly personality and she customized our facials for our specific skin type/needs. Facial also included a upper body/arm massage that was amazing and a nice surprise. Everyone at the spa, from the women at the front desk, to Angela was super professional and you could just tell that they wanted us to have a great experience. Just wish I lived closer so I could go monthly. Thanks, Massage Envy. My 19 year old LOVED her first facial and it totally added to our special trip!

Had a massage in March with Shelly was called April 8th for someone to tell me that she was no longer with the company and that we could get rescheduled but they didn’t have an opening until June. The woman on the phone needed to learn how to speak in the phone. If my phone didn’t have caller ID I would not if known it was Massage Envy, as she did not introduce herself in anything in the phone. Just stated you have an appointment on blah blah date with Shelly she is no longer with us so we need to cancel, did you want to reschedule? I said well yes, she said our next opening is in June. I said well that’s useless what is the reason of doing a follow up in a few weeks from beginning in March to June? I got a gift card for Christmas that is useless now. Guess I will drive out of town to another location that a hopefully have better customer service then this location, if not I’ll use the competition.

If I could leave zero stars and make an impact, I would. I’m an ME member and we were in town for a wedding and the Citrus Bowl Game. My husband and I booked 60 min massages a few days in advance. My massage was less than 35 minutes… Waited in the Tranquility room for 10 minutes, and dressed and talked for another 10, and was standing in front of the counter dressed and ready to go less than 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment! The room was freezing and the “therapist” barely laid hands on me. My husband’s experience was a little better and the fact that he did get an entire session, but he kept asking me therapist for more pressure and she just wouldn’t. Very disappointed and I’m not even sure the person who worked on me was an LMT.

They were 3 months out when I tried to book. . I have 17 free massages waiting for me that I can’t use for 90 days. ! I’ve been trying to get in for MONTHS.The massages are 45 minutes at best and you are paying for a full hour.Canceled my membership and left behind all the “free” massages.

I am beyond aggravated and disappointed in the massage envy in port orange. I booked my facial and massage appointments online and had confirmations for them both. When I arrived they did not have my appointment for my facial. I showed them my confirmation and they said well maybe the website wasn’t working that day. They were not at all apologetic and did not try to accommodate me. I drive a distance and it was big inconvenience to me. When I asked to cancel my membership 2 of the employees smiled and shook their heads. Very unprofessional. Needless to say after I use the massages I’ve paid for I will not be back. I have referred other people there and they will be canceling their memberships also. Poorly handled massage envy.

Suggest you avoid booking Georgi. He was recommended to me by a manager there at Port Orange, so I booked an appointment to give him a try. Two months wait, but okay, if hes that good, Ill try him. About a week out he cancels. So I rebook, another two, almost three month wait. Guess what? He canceled. He may be terrific but hes lost my business.The rest of the therapists there range from okay to really great. Suggest you choose one of them. Theyre more likely to be reliable.

I will not be back to this location for any services. I do not recommend this location. If you are a fan of the franchise, I recommend picking a different location or be prepared to be so disappointed to no longer be.I went in for a massage. It was decent, but it was 40 minutes long (or shorter). They took me back 5-10 minutes late and finished 10 minutes early. When I brought it up, they proceeded to tell me that the massages are always planned to be 50 minutes (5 minutes consultation, 50 minutes massage, 5 more minutes consultation). (Also just to be clear, I was 10-15 minutes early, so they didnt start late because of me.) That still doesnt explain 40 minutes or less. I mean considering the whole time I was back there was 45 minutes or less, then it could have been only 35 minutes or less. She only had time to massage my neck and back and didnt even get to a huge knot in my right shoulder that I explicitly pointed out (the whole reason I went in). Complete waste of $60+tip. This probably explains why the man before me didnt tip. Reflecting on the experience, I wish I wouldnt have too. Again the massage therapist was nice and pretty good, but this is just lazy and unacceptable.Ill be sticking to other places and recommend you do the same. Shoot even a random date would be better; at least when they finish too quickly or completely miss spots I point out, Ill know it was free and I dont feel obligated to tip.

One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. Was called the morning of my appointment to have me rescheduled because the therapist I was scheduled with called out sick because of a migraine. Annoying but not a deal breaker. Second, as soon as I walked in to the lobby I was uncomfortable. Two receptionists and a therapist were gossiping behind the counter the entire time while I prayed that she was not the one I was rescheduled with. Finally, after the appointment I set up a second massage for a month later because the girl I had did such a great job. After 15 minutes of not being able to get my gift card to work, the receptionist told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to pay with something else. I specifically mentioned to her that my sister had set up an account for me within their system from which the funds could be deducted and that I brought the physical card just in case. She had no idea what I was talking about and I was so over the place I paid for it with my debit card, cancelled my following appointment and left.After sending a message to the owner, he called me within 15 minutes to discuss, offered an apology and thanked me for letting him know about my experience, end of story. In the meantime, my sister who purchased the gift card called and spoke with the location she bought it from and then called the Port Orange location to straighten it out. For whatever reason, they just didnt know they could look it up in their system, despite me having told them I ended up getting the money refunded back to me and they deducted from my online gift card account.Too many mistakes someones first time experience. Not to mention their sales pitch at every turn to join their monthly massage club. No thanks! Unprofessional!

I have been to Massage Envy in a different State many times and have never had an issue booking an appointment. I went on line to book an appointment and thought I was doing something wrong. Nothing was available for weeks. So I called. I was doing things right. There were no appointments.I am not a snowbird, I work full time and to book an appointment during the week with a family is impossible. Its too bad. I received a large gift card for Christmas, my birthday is in January and am not able to book anything until a Friday evening in mid February.. Moral of the story is If you want an appointment that works for you dont count on the Massage Envy in Port Orange. Unless you want to wait for weeks to get in a time that will not even work for you. :(

Do not use online booking! I booked a massage appointment early this morning and configured my whole day around this appointment. When I went in I was told that my appointment was not there, and the manager, Autumn proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do. I asked for a massage because clearly the error was on their behalf and she said No. she could offer an enhancement. In customer service, when a customer shows up for an appointment that was booked and to their fault could not be completed it is their responsibility to make up for it. Not only did I lose out on a massage, I lost out on Saturday plans and this completely had a very negative affect. I will say in the last year because I’ve been a member since 2012 I have noticed a huge change in staff, therapist, and overall customer service. There is no way that this was OK. Especially when a client had been a member since 2012.

There is never availability. I have had my appointment cancelled several times due to the therapist not being available and then when rescheduling, I have to wait a month. At the beginning of Covid, I was not allowed services as a healthcare worker because I was in contact with Covid patients. My account was put on hold. Without telling me, when they felt safe, they took my account off of hold. My card was charged. I ended up with 8 credits. They would not refund and said I needed to use my credits. But I work during the day and their limited with evening appointments. When I first joined several years ago, after the initial contract period , I was told I could put on hold and take off hold as much as I wanted. I will never go back.

Booked an appointment for my mom, my sister and I well in advanced as a gift to them while I visited from Seattle. A week before our appointment, they cancelled my sister’s massage and said they had no other appointments available around that time. The only explanation was that the therapist changed their hours and they had no control over that. I think that is horrible customer service and business practices. I ended up transferring my massage to my sister and I’ll have to find something to do for an hour as it was a girls day and we were taking my mom to the beach to help her relax. I can’t change the date or time since I’m only in town for a few days and we have other things planned. Very dissatisfied. Don’t recommend this place.

Scheduled an appointment for my 87 yr. old Mother. I was given a date, time and name of the therapist for the next morning. I was driving and was asked to call back to leave a credit card. I was not told that the appointment wouldnt be held without the card. We showed up and there was not only no appointment for my Mother, there was no apology nor attempt to reschedule. I heard about their corporate policy LOUDLY and no other option offered. Sad that an older person who doesnt have a card, only uses cash and check cant get a massage at Massage Envy.

NO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!!! I called to move my appointment to another day due to the fact I would not be right on time due to terrible traffic from Daytona 500. I tried to move my appointment and was told I would be charged a now show fee. I’m not a no show I’m trying to move it to another day is what I told the lady. She stated in a rude manner yeah well that’s our policy. I explained I have never broken an appointment before and once again got a rude response of yeah well it’s our policy and we will bill your card on file. I will not be going back and will tell others that the staff is rude and not accommodating. I guess Debra lost a client due to unprofessional front desk worker.

DO NOT COME HERE: theyre all perfectly nice and sweet until they mess up & blame you for it and then treat you like total crap. I never even got the chance to go. I called Saturday to set up a new customer appointment done by Melissa in which my credit card info was taken for (holding the app purposes only) I was called Monday to confirm , I called back to cancel the day prior, nobody ever answered the phone & theres was not a voicemail. I call today Tuesday 09/06/16 to cancel way ahead of time. In which now they want to charge me 50% & they will not own up to there mistake. On never informing there new customer what was the cancellation fee. They put me on the phone with two women who pretended to be the manager. They were extremely rude. They will not own up to there mistake. They only care for charging me one way or another. If I am a first time customer, that you failed to inform, I deserve respect. Set of me rescheduling & still wanting to come back like I told them, they completely shattered that route for themselves. The way I was treated was totally uncalled for. Young girls who just want to save there sorry ass jobs. For a mistake they did. My lawyer will be calling :)

My wife made an appointment for a massage for both of us for a anniversary present. It was suppose to be with a female, when we got there my appointment was first. When the person arrived it was a male, not impressed and totally uncomfortable situation. When I came I informed my wife what happened, she was suppose to go next, when she went in the manager came out to talk to her and was really rude, told my wife she should have known it was a Male by the way the name was spelled elisha??? Really??? My wife told them that they should go back and check there info when she registered on line, they said dont use the online web, you should have called... Bad experience. I signed their contract for a year -such contract MUST BE READ CAREFULLY. One time I get late to the massage, they charge me $10 dollars, and gave half hour massage. I transferred a massage to a relative as a gift, they charged $10 dollars. Today, I called to cancel my massage with two hours anticipation because personal inconvenience, they said that I NEEDED A CERTIFICATION FROM A DOCTOR stating that I cannot attend because of health issues. Yes, it is in the contract, but at least me, dont need such complications when precisely I need to relax because STRESS RELATED ISSUES ! Absurd. I do not recommend.

Very deceptive business practices at Massage Envy. I received a gift certificate as a Christmas present. When I called to make an appointment for a facial, I was told that I would also need to give them my credit card info as well. When I questioned this practice, I was told that if I did not supply them with this information,I would have to bring in my gift card before I would be able to make an appointment. Let me make it clear that the gift card was for $100 and the facial would have been less than that. How can this business be so demanding about receiving payment prior to even allowing me to make an appointment?

I have been a loyal customer with massage envy since they opened @ the pavilion and always made sure my payments stayed up to date, I had to renew my card, when I called to give my information not only did they cancel my membership they took 8 of my sessions which basically adds up to $480. I was told a Manager would be returning my phone call that day and Im still waiting for a phone call from a Manager for 2weeks or more.

We got there early but they were running late so we didn’t get a full hour massage. In addition to this, we paid extra for a hand/foot scrub. Even though the hand/foot scrub is in addition to your massage, it cuts into your massage time. So we paid for a 60 minute massage plus a hand/foot scrub. We got a 45 minute massage and a 10 minute hand/foot scrub and lost 5 minutes because they were running behind.Staff was friendly and atmosphere was clean.

I was disapointed with the service I received. I thought it was unprofessional with the person coughing a lot and I have never received a massage without some type of oil or lotion . I paid for the extra oil and did not concentrate on my pain areas. It was also not a full hour. I also was aware that this place is a franchise .Will not go there again!

Left disappointed. Asked for deep tissue and and basically got a lotion rub down. When I asked the therapist to massage harder their reply was I was the last client of the day and the tank was empty. I should have only had to pay half the price for half the effort.

For services I would give them higher stars but for customer service I’m gonna go ahead and give you guys one star because it’s not fair when you sign up for something they tell you one thing and then all of a sudden two months later it’s a whole different story. Be very careful when you buy a gift card. They are not refundable. There is not any published notice in the reception area and no comment made by the associate who sold the card. You may want to get everything in writing.

Horrible place! Cant believe i choose this place! I would not recommend this place to anyone. There was this girl who works at the desk that did not even inform me about my aesthetician is pregnant and that i could not get a aromatheraphy because she was pregnant. If there was a chance to choose a half a star i would.
