All Steam members that I know are very happy with the Steam but they dont write a review here because of privacy issues. We should change that. Thank you guys for your friendly, clean, and super fun club!!

I have been to this spa many times. It is mostly pretty quiet and not very heavily attended, which is not a problem for me. For the most part, I have observed a good cleaning routine, which I appreciate. It seems mostly clean other than the hot tub which I have observed a questionable ring of grime on a couple occasions.On a recent visit, I observed a newer employee that did not have the cleanliness I observed in other employees. This employee did wash their hands after using the bathroom stall for a considerable period of time. This is the second occasion I observed questionable behavior by this employee. Behavior thar seemed though it could easily corrected with a conversation.David Pettit, the manager , (according to his business card) was at the club this day and was sitting right outside the front door having a cigarette so I decided to make him aware since the club claims to have high cleanliness standards.I started off by complimenting David on the cleanliness I observed (there is usually decent cleanliness) then shared the information an about this employee. David became very defensive and threw a tantrum in front of the club and claimed he wasn’t going to do anything about it. He claimed the employee was off the clock and therefore he didn’t care what he did and continued to yell. I explained to him I wasn’t here to get mad at him, just give him some information. Not very logical for him to get mad. I wasn’t even mad, I approached him very calmly, I had more compliments for him than complaints.A calm conversation would have netted to some great information for David. This time the employee may have happened to be clocked out. The other time the employee was clearly on the clock and in uniform.

The place is fine and the staff too. The only thing I did not like it its that members cant be longer than 8 hours

They keep the bath tub clean and give patrons sandals when they come in. In addition, you can ask for another towel if yours get too wet. The space is quite nice and the steam room is big. I was quite satisfied with the experience and how clean the space was.

It was my first and last time because Im from Seattle Washington I really love that place clean the staffs are nice and I had good time Im gonna come back again soon

I dont know if it is the state of Oregon or just the dunce at the front, (yes, I lowered my self to name calling) but this place would not accept a federally issued ID. Why? Because the ID didnt indicate gender. Social retardation at its best.

The owner/general manager David Pettit is a terribly rude person that talks down to people. Makes them feel stupid. He completely ruined my first experience with anything like that in my life and Im 40. Like a lot of us, I had to stay hidden for half of my life and I am still very closed up and nervous a lot. He destroyed my first pride ever. I was excited and scared at the same time but then he just made me and my husband feel soooo stupid and belittled us in front of the other customers in line. He made me feel like a child. I was already nervous as hell and that treatment from himade me completely closed off from the experience. He basically got money from us for nothing. He has made it to where Im skeptical of going to any other business like this. My joyful first experiences were destroyed and taken away from me because of the way he is towards customers.

I went to Steams Blackout last weekend for the first time and it was fun fun fun! Amazing staff and very friendly members 🙏

The crew was friendly and they definitely keep this place pretty clean. The atmosphere was good with a mixed crowd.

Tourist andi got turned away as I didnt have my passport as ID. What tourist takes their passport to a sauna? I had a government Drivers licence that has been accepted everywhere else. Beware not a tourist friendly business

The 3 times Ive been here at night when its open 24 hours, I felt like I was the only one. Maybe 2 or 3 other old dudes taking a nap but thats it.Makes me really miss California

Very well maintained property! The place is kept very clean and you feel safe and secure here! The attendant was very welcoming and informative.There were plenty of dark places and areas to explore, unfortunately I picked the wrong night to check things out. I basically paid $30 for a tour of the building! Lol...which was lovely. And I can only imagine the fun one can have here on a better night!I did like that they offer towels, flip flops and a locker with your basic entry package. As well as other amenities for sale when you come in. They do supply condoms all around the property to do their part to promote a safe experience. Thanks for that.Overall, great place. It was on my part that I picked a bad night to show up. Keep up the great job.

I had a good time. Staff was friendly and helpful without feeling intrusive. Layout is a odd but with time I was able to figure out where things were. Hot tub was ok, way too much foam for my liking.Biggest negative is parking. Not a lot of spaces and without clear lines people tend to park poorly. Fortunately there is plenty of on street parking in the area around here.

Ive been to a lot of bathhouses & this has got to be my favorite out of all of them 🥰 Theres no place like home 😘

First time here last night. Great place. Just sad theres no pool lol. One of the staff with glasses was really sweet last night. When I checked out this morning, another attendant was there and gave me attitude cuz I couldnt see where the exit was. 😒

Wow, so new pricing is a bit insane! And as usual it’s DEAD. of your going to charge outrageous prices during the week, have SOMETHING drawing people in. When the steam room smells bad and only moderately warm, the hot tub sadly doesn’t compare to Hawks. The price increase needs to come with SOME improvements. You don’t increase prices THEN promise improvements. Clearly even the employees realize something away with the pricing.

Been there only a few times. Staff is friendly and the place is spotless! Cool atmosphere, and usually find a cute guy to at least chat with. I’m pretty shy, so that can be challenging. But overall, an exciting experience, if you don’t do this often like myself.

Edit: had a much better time recently. It may depend on the night/crowd. Common spaces still not used. The upstairs LARGE common area was empty the ENTIRE night.Zombie-like people roaming around with zero personality and a frightened look on their faces or just standing around meekly. No one in the common areas. Seems like everyone just hides in the rooms.Music and video is generic.Staff is nice.

I went to my first gay bathhouse in 1979, so I know bathhouses. Overall, Steam is great. Number one, the place is clean. I observed the night crew cleaning at 4am and I was impressed. For a place called Steam, the steam room could be a little hotter, temperature wise. Also, the music is definitely geared towards the under 30 years old crowd, but they probably do that on purpose. The staff is friendly and cute, but unavailable for fun on their coffee breaks. The crowd is pretty much the same as is the case at every bathhouse: some really friendly guys, and some standoffish aholes. Im not asking you to marry me, all I want is to suck your ****. Thank goodness for the friendly guys! I definitely recommend Steam.

The only place using covid to scam ppl and charge $10 extra. this establishment isnt worried bout monkeypox which is far more serious for gblt ppl than covid. the whole $10 more without covid vaccine is ridiculous. so it costs $29 to enter...TOO MUCH. hope nobody visits this stupid ripoff place.

Been going there about 8 months drove past it for 10 years. I was really blown away at how the atmosphere is in the place. You can find all kinds and shapes and sizes to play with.I am a large stocky person and tend to look for those types as well, I can always find some one to play with. I have had some great top and bottom experiences. I have short legs and could use a step up platform to make it easier for me to top from behind. Anyone 6 ft or over is a real challenge.The staff is great and always ask how it was.You need to try t out, there are others in town, but the do not compare.

Been there done that, Cant say I would do it again. It may be okay for those who are into voyeurism and lots of Eye Contact, but for a night out by yourself and relaxing with new peeps, not so good. For all you locals, please tell Chris to come back to the friend circle. We Love and Support you man!!!!!!

Bathhouses are not just determined by the clientele, but also by the cleanliness of the facilities, attitude of staff, variety of rooms, pornography selection, music choice, and the outward appearance. This location is spades in a lot of these categories, but lacks in some. Its small, it doesnt have a pool, it was cool showers, it has an oversized bathroom, an open steam room (which isnt as fun), a deck (!!!), and assorted hard core swings and crosses. Didnt like the music selection (a gay station from like Sirius or something). Gorgeous building in a neat area of PDX. Really easy to get to from anywhere, and the staff are really prompt and cool.

If you are not slim and 25 and under it is very hard to fit in at this facility and it definitely caders to a younger slim crowd in Its advertising and the type of videos it shows... otherwise the staff is cool and it is very clean!!

The place is very nice and clean, however yesterday it was too cold inside. Also some of the personal working there over night have attitude problem and they can be rude to its clients.

Its a pretty comfortable atmosphere, especially if you are new to the experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its tasteful and clean. Give it a try.

This club used to be reasonably priced, but now they’ve just gone beyond greedy and charging obnoxious membership fees for no reason.

Hawks PDX is more friendly, better priced: $3.00 locker... 2 pm to 6 pm for members, and the selection of guys is variable and not shallow like Steam members.

Best private Sundeck outside of Key West or Palm Springs hands down!Very clean facility. Friendly and polite staff. Totally affordable.

I like this place because I delivered their new washer. Good atmosphere, like a jungle cat could leap out and get ya in the mists.

I got a 18$ locker and somehow got charged 45$ to my debit card.... also the hot tub gave me a rash
