I made an appt 1 week in advance as a birthday gift to myself. They kept rein forcing if I canceled any later then I day before I would be charged. They called and sent text to co firm appt. 2 hours before my appt. A d on my birthday, they called to cancel....No apology, no compensation, heartless. It ruined my day. I will never use their services again !!!

Massage Envy is clean, bright, and professional. I go there often to relax and forget my troubles. I come out feeling like a new man. I favorite Therapist is Carrie.

I am a member here and really appreciate the services. I never have an issue getting an appointment with my favorite therapists. I never have to wait for my appointment to start and the therapists are considerate. The only reason I give four stars is because the parking is awful despite it being a large shopping center and sometimes the therapist doesnt completely listen to what I am asking for. Overall, I highly recommend this Massage Envy.

I arrived on time to my massage. The staff was warm and friendly per usual. This most recent visit was unusual because they brought a timer in the room which clearly showed that the clock for the 60 minute massage had started and by the time the massage therapist laid her hands on me for the session, approximately 13 minutes had passed. I asked the therapist about this and she said the time to get the room ready counts into the massage and that she recommends booking for a longer session in the future. There were no 90 minute appointments available when I called which is fine but if I am paying for a 60 minute massage, I want just that. The time it takes to prep the room has nothing to do with the patron. I would recommend they reduce their price if this is going to be their business practice.

Very worst experience with Receptionist: Leanna as well as Esthetician: Tatiana. Visited this place first time and never expect customer to be treated like this.Esthetician initially stated that she will finish her task before 60 min and she literally skipped the massage session stating that she has to end the session before 60 mins. When I told she said the time to get the room, getting ready to be prep also counts into the 60 min massage. The time it takes to prep the room has nothing to do with the patron. I told receptionist this bad experience and ask to give discount the way they skip the massage and they refused. Wont suggest anyone to visit this place.

I actually ended up leaving this location feeling worse than when I went in. The massage therapist injured my neck. I said I needed gentle but her style was speedy and aggressive. I didn’t feel like she could understand me at all. I will not be returning to this establishment and possibly not any massage envy.

This location has some of the best therapists, my personal favorite is Vicky! She massages with just the right pressure and has me feeling more and more relaxed every time I go here. I had never had a professional massage before coming here, so I was nervous, but Vicky put me at ease. And all the girls at the front desk are so friendly and nice, they always greet me with smiling faces every time I walk through the door. Not to mention, the tranquility room is so peaceful, with the dim lights and the fruit infused water- my favorite is the lime water. They remodeled back in March, and it is so pretty and clean inside. If you havent tried this place out, you definitely need to!

Massage Thearpists are excellent here. Im just reviewing this particular massage envy a 1 because they are starting to charge an extra fee on top of your membership price if it isnt your home location. Im praying the other clinics dont start doing this because my home location is back in Minnesota. And I joined massage envy before I left MN knowing I would be able to go to any massage envy nationally.My mom gets military discount and they still charged her, too. So so disappointing. She will no longer be able to go to her favorite massage therapist. She would drive from Lemon Grove just to see her 😞 I feel bad too;I ended up taking away from the tip so I could afford the extra fee.

I first arrived and everything seemed good. Then my therapist was about 15 minutes late starting my massage. She said she would make sure that I received my full time which did not happen. While receiving my massage I constantly heard people talking which it made it less of a relaxing experience.Then as I went to pay I was pressured into buying their membership which I declined a few times during the time I was trying to pay for my massage. I was then told that my massage was twice as much as I was told it was. The lady had to ask another associate and turns out the price I was given was correct. This place could has the potential to be a good place they just need to work on a few things and not pressure people into buying their memberships.

Just went to Massage Envy in Mira Mesa arriving for a massage and facial. When I got there they told me they didn’t have my appointment. Seems they had my appointments under someone else’s name and phone number so they just canceled my reservation and booked somebody else for that time. At 10 AM in the morning is not a time to let someone know they have no appointments. I will never be going back. So sad and disappointing that someone runs a business like this

Been a member at this location for more than three years and visit this place more than once a months. I am satisfied with both the friendly front desk girls and the therapists. A few of them can tailor your therapeutic need like Cite, Mathew, Teresa and Akira. I definitely recommend this place.

Very bad the person put absolutely no pressure. It was a waste of money at the lady was really old. Just wanted to get out of there from the beginning. Never go there.

This location was the best one yet. I was greeted by a very friendly lady as I walked in. When I went to where I thought I was supposed to wait for my massage (which was in the open waiting area), she quickly invited me to the tranquillity room and walked me right to it. I had Ashley as my therapist. Let me just say that if I could rate her more than 5 stars, I would!! In the past, other therapists either quickly worked my feet and glut muscles or skipped over them entirely. I expressed that to Ashley and asked if she could cover those areas more thoroughly I’d be grateful. Well, did she ever!! There are major muscles that run up the back of your leg and your gluts. She worked them in depth and afterward I felt so much better. She simply left the sheet draped over those areas so as not to make me feel uncomfortable. I was perfectly happy with that as it was just what I hoped for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ashley if you can make it to this location!!

I found some pretty good therapists here. The last one I saw was Cite. I had no idea she had been there for over 10 years! She is hard to book but I got a cancelled slot and she worked on my back like no other. I wish she would just work privately and not thru Massage Envy... I took off one star because of the contract.. I would rather go on my own accord and not be chained to go. Yes you can go as a walk in but for the walk in price I can go someplace more fancier... I do like the cleanliness of the place and the heated tables. If you do go here ask if Cite is available. Cite if you find my review... go to business for yourself!! You are wonderful and have a following already.

Therapist and owner harassed me regarding tips- saying I did not tip when in fact I did. Cheeky! Owner Telling me over the phone and therapist telling me in person at my massage -you did not tip me the last three times”. Therapist talking about the same thing to cashier in front of me before my massage. Not a welcoming establishment at all. Very unprofessional.

I experienced my first massage today...aside from the tickles I really enjoyed pampering myself and receiving a ME massage from Steve!!! Thank U..I definitely recommend stopping in for a massage! The welcoming staff sets the tone for comfort from start to finish! Thank U Massage Envy, now Im relaxed in my Santa hat!!! Happy Holidays ...

Angel acts so incompetent and arrogant. Angel, why do you think you can speak to customers like you do? Refuse to answer questions or offer your managers name? Or offer any kind of assistance whatsoever? You should be ashamed of yourself. Massage Envy needs to give some respect to their customers.

Massage Therapist Mathew was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband booked me my monthly massage at this location due to us being from out of State here on a business trip. Mathew was very professional, nice, and did amazing on my massage. Will be back. Thank you!

Massage Envy = the Comcast of the Massage World.The therapists are good, you can find one with a style that suits you, the schedule is convenient, the rooms are clean, and the pricing is (overall) decent. However, they will try to squeeze a dollar out of you where they can.I signed up as a member at this Massage Envy in 2008 - 9 years ago - have been a loyal member since and have been receiving the same rates since that time. Over time there have been rate increases for new members, and I have moved to other areas where the rates are on average $20 higher across the board, however I have always had a grandfathered rate that reflects the rates on the contract that I signed and was honored by every Massage Envy that I have ever visited. I have kept my membership with Mira Mesa because of that.Now, Massage Envy Mira Mesa has decided to raise all their rates across the board and they are no longer honoring grandfathered rates. The owner, Joe Wang, himself claimed that he has a right to refuse service to anyone, even a person with a valid, contracted ME membership because their rates are too low and he has to run a business. I dont see how this is acceptable to Massage Envy Corporate, and it is surely a poor business practice.The one solution that Mr. Wang offered me was to re-sign me up for the membership so I can keep my rate for another year, which would effectively liquidate my grandfathered status so that other Massage Envy locations dont have to honor my rates.There have been several class action lawsuits against ME and these types of practices are precisely the reason for that. If you become a member, be prepared to deal with these kinds of challenges.

Worst customer service ever .1. Asked female therapist and booked me with Male therapist without informing me.2. 60 min session started late and ended early .3. Full body massage - face to lower front body part was not even touched and when asked receptionist just said sorry I dont know why it was not included.Would never recommend this location.

Tries my first hot stone massage here and it wasnt the most comfortable but it was nice. Had my first facial here the same day, and I was extremely uncomfortable but the lady doing it made me way more relaxed. The customer service was excellent. My membership is with a different location, but this is my favorite location in the area.

Never going back to Massage Envy. They left me in a waiting room for 30 minutes passed my appointment. When I checked with the receptionist for the status, the manager yelled out from the back room: “she’s not here today!”I’ll forget about how aloof the staff was while I was there, but wasting peoples time, especially on the weekend, is Inexcusable. I’ll be sure to share my experience every chance I can.

I am really pissed off with this company. I tried to cancel, but the lady at the desk was incompetent and said I had to wait for their manager who wasnt working until the end of the week. Now, if a customer wants to cancel their service, we shouldnt have to accommodate the company to the employees schedule. They should always have a manager that is able to assist a customer at that time. Its total bullshit. Horrible, horrible, customer service. I moved out of town and asked that they e-mail the information so that I cancel via e-mail. I did not want to drive all the way there to handle this because it was inconvenient. I HATE this company and will advise anybody who goes with this company to stay away. NEVER get a membership. Oh and by the way, I have not been there for maybe 5-6 months, never got any services and they decided to deduct $240 out of my account. This was meant for food to feed myself and my son. Now Im stuck with no money. I am waiting for their office to open, so that I can handle this crap. Very unsatisfied.

I had a microdermabrasion with Renee on Friday the 6th of December . She made me feel very much at ease and relaxed ,knowing is my first time there. I was very comfortable with her and I felt very good afterwards. I was very happy with the experience,and I hope to go back for another treatment. I highly recommend Renee !

Got a 90 minutes massage with Jenny. She was very thorough and worked out all the knots I had, very grateful and felt relaxed aftetwards.

Prices are expensive, more than any other place around. The people seemed nice but I wont be going back

Devan is a very good therapist. He is the only reason I come to this location. Highly recommend him.

Mariah gave me a 60 minute massage on October 19. She did a great job and paid special attention to my health issues.

Horrible experience at Mira Mesa Massage Envy. Mira Mesa Massage Envy was more concerned about selling massages than giving massages. Mira Mesa must work on quotas. VERY disappointed! Would never recommend this location.

Renee gives amazing facials here, keeping me coming back for more than a year. And shes a great listener.
