Point Loma TT Massage

While I was in town, the Hotel bed wasnt the comfiest so my back was feeling a little sore. So took a gamble on this place even with the reviews, but the price was good. I do have to say, overall the message was really good. Pressure at first was a little hard but after a while the therapist softened up and it was good. First time having a hot stone message and it felt really good. I did take the “door chime” reviews in consideration and asked for a room in the far bad so that way it was less chance to hear it and they accommodated it and did hear it a few times but nothing I couldn’t look pass. Overall it was a nice clean place by the looks of it and would come back. Only reason for the 3 stars out of 5stars being the best spa, is that the tipping reviews r true, they do kinda force a tip on u at the end. Kinda annoying but it is what it is.

Toxic mind games with this masseuse.We had all of the dread of a 40 year old marriage.She propositioned me to have sex pretty early on (like 20 mins) and when I said no she was scorned. Kept giving me these betrayed looks the whole rest of the time.Nothing she did felt good. It almost felt like she was using traditional Chinese medicine to hurt me.Stopped 10 mins early.Finality of it all was I tipped $8 (13%) and she freaked out.Overall just terrible and confusing energy and a potential rain cloud on my aura (I don’t have to let it be though!)

The massage was decent. My body felt better afterwards. But the masseuse’s hands smelled like garlic so the face massage she gave me was a bit gross. I had to wash my face afterwards. I also had to decline a happy ending twice. You would think that declining once would be more than enough. Then she insisted on a 50% tip. I won’t be coming back.

I went in with a Groupon. I was pleased with the therapy. I have back issues, and a arthritic hip. A pleasant, older Asian lady was my masseuse. She provided some stretching like Ive had at a Chiropractor while getting adjusted. Also used hot stones on my back. I ended up dozing off for a good portion of the massage, and going into a dream state I was so relaxed. I found the establishment very clean. I will go back.

Prepare to be hustled! I went in for a massage, was asked to pay prior to services rendered- when I gave $90 for an $85 service the lady walked away with my money & looked at me like I was crazy when I requested my change. I should have left then.The massage was fantastic, truly! The environment is horrendous; it’s dirty, it’s loud, the staff could be heard as to what sounded like doing dishes & having a party in the back. The door buzzer was so obnoxious i had to turn on pandora to try to drown them out. One of the women was wearing a pair of daisy dukes with her a$$ hanging out & I’m fairly certain the linens weren’t exchanged.When I left, I asked for change for $100, planned to leave 20% for my massage but was given all $20s. The same woman was vocally infuriated When I asked her to break a $20 to the point she stomped her feet while having vocal outbursts. The gentleman who gave the massage was embarrassed.I don’t usually post reviews but I wouldn’t want this to happen to someone else, especially when you’re trying to pay someone for self care.

If I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend booked us a couples massage and it was the worst massage experience we have ever had. Completely unprofessional, the space was dirty, and the staff was not friendly and did not communicate at all.When we got there, they were not welcoming and tried to put us in separate rooms even tho we clearly stated and paid for a couples massage. Being in the same room is just standard. There was no discussion at all, we were just led to a room that was dusty and instead of sheets they legit have beach towels on the beds, with holes ripped for the face openings.To be honest, I just wanted to leave but I didn’t want to be rude or embarrass my boyfriend.There was no communication of sensitivity or desired pressure they just started. No paperwork either. Just left to disrobe. When they entered I had a male masseuse and he kept leaning against me, I could feel his belly and/or his private area as he supported his weight. He would also massage with one hand and then use his other hand to support his weight on me as well. Which hurt. I asked him not to, which lasted for a few minutes but he went right back to doing it throughout the massage.I asked him to avoid a certain area due to sensitivity but he didn’t. He was rough throughout despite the communication I did try to offer, and overall I felt completely uncomfortable. My boyfriends massage was also unpleasant and his female masseuse was massaging with one hand and texting with the other.They both kept just leaving the room with no instruction and then coming back. All the while, the front door buzzer kept loudly going off.It was impossible to relax and impossible to enjoy. I could go on, seriously, after years of massages, this was hands down the worst. And I also don’t have high standards, and typically you know what to expect depending on what you pay, but this… this was a disaster. Save your money and go anywhere but here.

It was wonderful! I went there with my mom today. Took her there while shes vacationing here. We both got the $20 for 60 minute foot massage (which includes some body.) Its like 15min head, neck and arms, 15min back and 1/2hr feet. You cant beat the price which is why you should definitely tip good. You leave your clothes on which i liked. They took us into 1 private room together. Low lights and soothing music. Definitely felt rejuvenated and relaxed after.

Do not go there with a coupon - they will treat you like you have a plague.I had purchased 2 massages on groupon for $39.00. The first one was okay, nothing special with Wendy. Had to pay extra for massaging oil ( not mention in their advertising) and gave her $ 20.00 tip. She was nice. Today went to get second massage and they told me that coupons are accepted only from 10 to 11am and were looking at me like I have no value as a customer . Both women were very rude. Again- never mention in their advertising. I had left coupon on the counter and walked out.I will never go back there and would not recommend this place to anyone.They shouldnt advertise their services on groupon if they dont want honor coupons. This not the way to expand customer base.

Go anywhere else. My wife was quoted a 30 minute massage for $30. The massage was less than 30 minutes, it was the worst massage she has ever experienced, and they conned her into giving a $10 tip since she didn’t have exact change. I repeat, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Was good until masseuse said she wanted 30% tip and when asked if she could break a 20 she threw the 10 change on the counter and walked away. Said she got no money for the massage and only tips. I will never go back

This is the first time I’ve gotten a massage;(the candle at both ends, and was pretty sore, I just stumbled onto this place. I happen to be at 7-Eleven.I’m so happy I did ;I was dealt with professionally’ the massage was very helpful in my current state, definitely beneficialI highly recommend Lisa and her team; I will returnThank you Lisa. I made appointments in advance for myself and my family. I confirmed it and made sure she had my name and phone number. When we arrived, we were told they could not take us and there would be a 30 minute wait. My family and I said that we would wait. When we went back in, she then told us she could only take 2 of us and it would be a longer wait for the rest of us. The only reason I made appointments in advance was that so we could be seen on time and have our massages at the same time. She lied to me several times. We decided to leave and I had to ask for my credit card back because she had wanted me to pay in advance. I will never go back here and do not liked being lied to and having my time wasted.

Literally just left this place and am stoked. As a surfer, my neck, traps, middle back, and shoulders could always use some attention and I got it all at PL TT massage. My masseuse used a phone to translate so we could communicate where I wanted her to focus and she was wonderful, attentive, and very soothing. She made sure to be sanitary and wore a mask, but I especially loved the mild version of Tiger Balm and hot clothes she used. Will be coming back weekly. Such a deal.

I was looking for a place where they do reflexology massages as my left foot has been hurting for about a month. The therapist hit all the pressure points. This was one of the best massages I have ever had. Your clothes stay on and you are draped with a sheet so this was not like a traditional massage. Extremely reasonable prices! My foot is almost pain free. Before we head back home to Florida, I will be returning for another massage.

First time customer...I did the 30 minute foot massage and 30 minute back massage for 35.00 with, deep tissue massage for an additional 5.00 and 5.00 for hot stones. I got Lilly. Lilly didnt need to speak much English, but she spoke the language of the body. She could feel the sore spots and worked them out by the time the hour was up. The way she used her arms to sweep the back and other techniques were really effective. I started the punch card for future visits. I tipped her well because as she worked out the knots and pain, I felt so much relief, that I just wanted to hug her and give her all my cash.

It was a pretty solid place in all honesty, their masseuses are guy which isnt that big deal just should know that going in lol. however i went in got a massage it was pretty good. but when i left the guy chased me out and asked me for a tip, which through me off then i told him no. which he replied with you arent military i dont believe you i dont think thats any way to treat your customers so thats the reason for a bad review.

After researching online to find a reputable massage place I decided to at 1st book with Happy Buddha...when I was running late, i called the Happy Buddha and asked them to change my appointment from 2pm to 215 or 230? They abruptly told me no and that time would be taken off my massage for being late.Thats when I did more research and found Point Loma TT Massage and Im so glad I did.Lily was great my foot massage was very thorough and she also did a short facial and upper body massage before taking me to another room for the full body massage.For the full body i was face down only, Lily asked medium or hard?I chose hard, it was a great massage probably one of the best Ive ever had!She actually used her full bodyweight to massage my backside! I will definitely return the next time Im in San Diego!I left feeling super relaxed!Thankyou Lily!

I really wanted to enjoy this massage place but after my 4th time there, decided its not for me after waking up covered in bed bug bites! I asked a woman to mark my fourth time being there and she tried to play me and pretend that she had stamped and dated it, tried to use the language barrier as an excuse to not stamp it. Eventually did but I guess got her revenge by giving me bed bugs. I have had a massage with David 3 times now and only 1 session was really good and the rest felt like a hateful massage, he kept hitting nerve endings and all the wrong spots and pressure point so that I was in pain the next day. He was the one that gave me the massage when I woke up with the bed bug bites. Its terrible. Dont come here. One young man with really nimble fingers was awesome at his job and he was the only one that I would want a massage from again, I dont know his name but avoid David.

Massage was decent but super shady place. I bought a groupon and they had super limited availability and then when I went to use it they kept asking how much I paid. I will not be returning

I had an excellent massage! Therapist was very professional and the facilities clean. Will definitely come back when Im in town. Bring cash as they do charge a transaction fee for credit cards.

Very professional massage therapists. They used to work in an Acupuncture office close to my work place and I went to them regularly. Now they have moved to Point Loma which is far from me but I still go there to get massage. Highly recommend!

If you want to pay more for posh--not your place. But its exactly what I needed. Deep, hot stone, hot oil, tension and pain-releasing massage. Very pleased.

Excellent value for your money. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, the workers are professional, and experienced. I feel a great sense of gratitude as they are working on every little muscle and nerve in my body. The location of this one is convenient, though a bit of a diamond in the rough area. Your body and mind will thank you for the visit; worth every penny and more. Again, excellent service. I will be back soon

Great massage for a great price. Got a body massage for one hour. Was amazing, but if you don’t get the body+ foot combo, they don’t massage your feet. Recommend body 1hr and 1/2 hr foot massage. That’s what I’ll get next time. Will definitely return.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Classic style reflexology massage - its a little brutal, but in the best way. Gives happy Buddha a run for their money, easy location, great deal!

Bought a Groupon for this, when I called to schedule an appointment they said they won’t accept the Groupon and I have to pay full value only in cash…. That’s just too sketchy

Very relaxing, careful with your modesty. Great hand massage, but foot massage is not included in the body massage so go for the combo.

The extra tip is $80, not really worth it in my opinion, but everything was enjoyable.

This is one of the best and reasonable priced massage places in the San Diego, Point Loma area & super friendly people.

Came around 7 and got a 90 min. Message quality wasn’t good. I would not go here again.
