I love it! Suki gives the best deep tissue massage ever!!! I also liked the facial. At times there is a communication barrier but they are very nice.

Excellent massage provided by Wendy!! I went there yesterday for a massage on my birthday and it was exactly what I needed. It was my second time receiving a massage from Wendy. I asked for deep tissue and she got to all of my problem areas. She was attentive and asked me along the way if I was okay and if the pressure was too deep. I prefer a strong massage and it was just what I needed.

I hate to give a one star but here we are. I went in (with an appointment) and every woman I spoke to seemed shocked or confused by my being there. I was put in my room and after undressing i was waiting probably a whole 5-10 minutes for my masseuse. A woman came in and by the tone in her voice she seemed very surprised I was in the room but she started my massage. Though she was very sweet I really don’t think she was licensed. I got home and INSTANTLY felt sore and bruised. I’ve had many massages and never once left the experience genuinely hurting. At multiple points I’m absolutely sure that she climbed ontop of the bed and over me to “get a better angle” and i honestly felt too uncomfortable to say something. I was also touched VERY close to my privates and felt wildly uncomfortable by it. Overall though the women were very sweet I completely regret getting the massage and am now in more pain then I was before.

One of the best massages I’ve ever had! Wish I discovered this place sooner. If you’re like me and love deep tissue Asian massages, Tammy is the masseuse for you. She was so strong, knew exactly where my knots were and kept focusing on those areas. It’s usually double the price for a massage like this anywhere else. Also loved the beautiful decor inside. I can’t wait to go back again!

I visited Rock Spa Club for the first time with my daughter,and I wasnt disappointed. My massage therapist Lucy was amazing with the right pressure topped with hot stones.The Spa was very clean with a friendly staff...Ivy was so nice even when I had to reschedule for a different time... I will visit again the next time Im in Jersey.🥰

I’ve never had a massage, yet Cindy, the therapists, definitely made me a future return. She made me relax and feel less tense. I literally felt my hands and my shoulders, where my tensions are more prevalent, relax.

Hi im 2 hours removed from my first appointment at Rock Spa Club. I like many of you saw a ton of ads and finally gave in. Im glad i did .. Lisa was excellent and this is my new massage place. (i normally traveled all the way to the city for my massages) The staff was nice ... the place was clean and it smelled nicely.Thanks see you soon

Needed a moment to myself and didnt want to spend $180 for a massage. Read good reviews about Rock Spa and decided to treat myself. Its clean so thats a plus. No privacy whatsoever. Heard people coming and going the entire time. The massage in itself...lets just say I left with a massive headache and my arms and back hurt. I couldnt sleep from the pain. I woke with worse pain. The masseuse herself asked if I wanted more gentle and I said yes. Which she continued to apply more pressure. Why would anyone want a torture massage? I would have much rather spent $180 for a massage knowing that Id have privacy and not have pain.Because of your response, I decreased to 1 star. Ive had several massages. DO NOT place the blame on not having a massage recently. A massage is not intended to have pain during, after or days after. A massage is intended to relax a person. I dont have soarness, its pain from the pressure of the massage. Youre not supposed to take aleve after a massage. There were no questions asked about the type of massage or pressure. And Im pretty sure she sat on me to apply even more pressure. And not for nothing, the towel/sheet covers the area that are not supposed to be touched. I NEVER had anyone massage my butt cheeks. Unprofessional! A professional spa has forms to sign and consent to agree to. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state.

I came for the massage and facial combo. Great massage based on pressure and technique and intro facial (there wasn’t deep extraction but I did get compliments all that week about my glowing skin). I went here for the first time yesterday for a couples massage. The place is nice, my only complaints are: not long after my massage my upper back and lower back began to feel sore and hurt to the touch. It was far too much pressure for me during the massage. And secondly I left a tip afterwards yet they asked me for another tip which I found odd and I didn’t think they were supposed to do that.

I went to this venue on my birthday 1/31. I had a body massage and facial it was outstanding . Everything was extremely wonderful from the moment I walked in . Honestly , my appointment was at 10:00 am, and I got there early. They attended to me immediately , they didnt make me wait until my appointment. I loved it... I felt like I was completely important and they didnt even know it was my birthday, but they gave me the gift of Royalty. There are two parking spots in the tiny lot (first two with cones) but lots of street parking. DO NOT park in the other spots in the lot, as the owner of the coffee place will tow your car.A walk down the steps takes you to a very clean, sterile, relaxing environment. The young woman at the desk takes you to your room and asks what you’re looking for - BE SPECIFIC bc chances are your therapist doesn’t speak English. The rooms are very simple. They start with a massage over the sheet, which was very nice. Then, aromatherapy oil on bare skin, and when she leaves the room and you’re not sure whether it’s over, she comes back with hot stones - and they are flat and hot and wonderful (you wonder how she can touch it), and does a once over. Then she uses a hot liquid which is a great sensation, but if you don’t want it, tell the young lady at the start. She will use a hot washcloth to wipe everything down and clean you off. Then, you’ll flip over for your neck and face. They also massage your butt - which felt great and was a massage I didn’t know I needed. I asked for firm pressure - I’ll likely ask for medium next time. This is a non-traditional massage in a sense that you get a deep rub down as opposed to the tricks from another MT place. I can feel where I got worked, knots gone, but can feel where I am still sore (from gym/everyday). Noise - you can definitely hear people talking outside but I was so relaxed, it mostly got tuned out. Card - if paying with a card expect to pay $63.98 for a 60-min. Tip - a bit uncomfortable process. They really need to just have tiny envelopes to place a cash tip in and leave it in the room or at the desk. Your therapist will likely wait for a tip. I do think that tips are a great bonus and people should be comfortable in making the decision if they want to leave one and for how much. I’ll be back. The massage is a delight and the best I’ve found in the area - I come from Morris County to enjoy! I highly recommend.

This is my second visit today and it happened to be in the snow storm but guess what tomorrow- Valentines Day is my birthday so hurricane or flooding Im still coming . I really appreciate front desk reaching out to see if Ill still come and was kind to accommodate me when I was late due to the storm . Sophia was my masseuse for the day and I honestly felt heard and was attended to according to what I asked . It was so good I felt asleep snoring and caught myself. I wanted a longer massage but I had to finish my itinerary of things to do for the day . Next time Ill get a 90 min instead of 60 min . No loud noise ...no one disturbing tour massage . Medium massage level...hot stones were perfect I tell you OMGGGGG. FEELS SO GOOD. The wholesome massage from start to end was good . I appreciate your hard work and dedication to your customers. This is a my golden treasure spot for my massage officially. And very reasonable and budget friendly. Very clean. Ambiance is very good . Will be coming back soon again .

The massage was phenomenal for the price and the masseuse gave it her all. I was not a fan of the shade wall separating me from someone elses massage session, but everything was otherwise ok. I would imagine you get a whole room to yourself when booking a couples massage. I would still come back.

Amazing! One of the best massages I have ever received. My therapist was incredible. She had an excellent touch. It was a combination of a deep tissue and Swedish massage, all in one. Her technique was perfect and just what I needed! I will definitely be back soon! Looking forward to it actually.

I just updated my review to one star! My shoulders are hurting so bad from the massage that I received yesterday. I will not be returning to the is place .I’d say don’t go here expecting top notch service or an experience. I’ve gotten many massages before and this experience was okay. The room is small, it’s noisy, the therapist has to leave the room multiple times, and the massage therapist wasn’t great at doing her job.The pressure was decent although there were times where all she did was just rub-and not massage the different parts of my body. I didn’t leave feeling refreshed at all.This place isn’t safe in terms or asking if you’re allergic to anything, have any parts of your body that should not be massaged, etc. I mean what if someone had a bad car accident, they should definitely be asking these questions. I didn’t even fill out form with my information. That’s a little weird !It’s not relaxing and way too loud . They need to have better noise control and doors that aren’t so loud. I over heard everything from the hallway. The doors don’t close all the way so the bright light from the hallway is annoying.The hot stones were pointless.The best part of the experience was the heated bedAnd, it’s pretty cheap compared to the other places that I’ve gone too.I’d go back if I’m looking to spend a few bucks and can’t get to my other place but I won’t be spending more than a hour getting a massage.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. I stopped in by chance when I had a couple of hours to kill while my car was being worked on nearby. The exterior of the place looks so well done and attractive that I was prepared for it to be on the expensive side but my 90 minute massage was just $90 (plus tip). The place was spotless and smelled nice. The massage table was covered in an amazing, pillowy memory foam that felt brand new. It was by far the best massage I have ever had - from pressure points at the base of my skull that I had never even been aware of before to approaching each toe from 3 sides!! It’s hard to describe, but it was beyond fantastic. My massage therapist was Sophia so ask for her! Even at their very reasonable prices, massages are a luxury item for me so I’ll look forward to another visit in a few months or something like that but I would absolutely recommend it to anybody looking for a wonderful massage and looking to support local South Orange businesses.

Just went in for my first massage here and I was not disappointed. My body feels great and rejuvenated. Highly recommend if youre looking for some simple massages that get the job done.

The reception is as courteous as can be! The masseuse gives her all, and uses her whole body weight to create a strong massage if that’s what you want. I liked but didn’t love the facial, it’s extremely nice and relaxing due to a lot of face massage involved. But there are no extractions at all after the steaming so it’s not as effective in cleaning up pores.

I’m a regular client and I love this place. Excellent massage and very courteous front desk staff. I always tip 25% because the prices are below market. What I’ve learned is that staff seem displeased with the tip amount but it is actually the contrary.

I was my BF birthday so we both got massages, he told me this was his beat experience, we did in Dubai, in Mexico, and they were nothing compared. The massage service I received was satisfactory; however, I encountered an issue with the gratuity I provided. After paying a $20 tip, I observed the staff exchanging glances, which left me with the impression that they expected a larger gratuity. I would like to point out that I am willing to tip generously when service merits it, but I also believe in fair compensation. In this case, it is my understanding that the staff members are not reliant on tips, as they are compensated hourly.This experience has made me uncomfortable about returning to the establishment. As a customer, I value feeling appreciated for my patronage. I may consider exploring alternative massage providers where the tipping process and expectations align more comfortably with my preferences.

I loved it here! It is a reasonable price and my massage was incredible. She was very nice and everyone here was very welcoming. Parking is a little difficult, but if you come early its okay. They are also very accommodating

First time client and it was a great experience. Im 6 2 180 and I got the 120 min deep tissue massage + facial. It hurt SO GOOD! Shuki has magical hands, got out all the kinks, amazing tension relief. The facial at the end was the cherry on top. Jen is a star! Im going back.

I went tonight for my first time and got a prenatal massage, actually my first one ever. It was nice. Didn’t even realize I fell asleep. It was perfect pressure. I should’ve gotten longer than 90 mins. I will definitely go back. Great prices and amazing times open!

I came in February of 2023 and enjoyed my couples massage, but came on 8/21/23 and did not. The masseuses looked angry the whole entire time and did not say hello when they walked in. They were chatting during the massage together and even laughing. When they left to go get towels they kept the door open while my buttocks was uncovered. Someone could have passed by and seen me naked because they left the door open. The bed was not warmed and I had to ask for it to be turned on halfway through the massage. The lights were kept on during the entire massage. When they wiped the oil off my body they used a cold, wet towel. Lastly, when I was paying both masseuses we’re standing there watching me pay the bill and staring at me waiting for their tip. I was trying to exchange cash at the front desk for a tip and it made me very uncomfortable that they were standing and watching me the whole time waiting for me to give them their tip. There should be tip jars with each masseuses name so you don’t have to have them stand on top of you. After I gave them their tip they immediately started counting it and made a face even though I tipped them both 20% for talking during the massage & exposing my buttocks. The area and bathroom was very clean both times i’ve been here and making appointments is very easy. The price is great compared to other spas. The 60 minute massage is mainly focused on the back & forearms and you are face down. Briefly you are face up.The hot stones are used for about 2 minutes then left on your back while they massage your legs.

My husband bought my mom and I a massage today and it was amazing! The place was clean and everything looked new. We loved the ambient and relaxing music. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. Kelly listened to my requests and used the right amount of pressure for my back since I have scoliosis and sciatica pain. We are definitely going back!

Rock Spa Club has many services, and I had gotten the massage. I enjoyed it. The masseuse was attentive by asking if I was okay during the massage. The place is peaceful and relaxing.

My boyfriend and I went for couples massages for my birthday and as far as massages, these were some of the best massages I’ve ever received absolutely no complaint about services rendered. However when it came time to pay and the demand of the tip was absolutely ridiculous. She forces a 25% tip on the bill and claimed she could not take it off. She asked can we get cash, we got the cash from there ATM and she told me to get the tip out too. I told her once again we’re not tipping today. (I’ve been before and usually tip but it was my birthday and I didn’t want too… simple as that.) The receptionist then says to me, “But they make there money from tips, you have to.” I told her no we don’t. I don’t know what type of illegal under the table operation is going on there but if your masseur is only relying on tips for there wages that sounds like an issue the labor department and irs should be made aware of. I don’t appreciate being embarrassed in front of other patrons and the workers eagerly looking at you guilting you into tipping. After the back and forth my boyfriend was sick of it and ended up tipping both masseur in cash. Tips are optional if you want to make it mandatory incorporate in your pricing and automatically give them a percentage. Aside from that terrible business practice they actually do good massages. Once you get to the payment portion be prepared to spar with them because even if you do tip they will actually tell you, you didn’t tip enough. I think I’ll stick with the real spa I’ve been going to.

The place was small yet intimate, it did have a funny smell upon entering though. The front desk/receptionist staff was very friendly. I purchased a couples massage, which was administered by a male & female & let me start by saying I felt more sore than ever, the male staff was heavy handed & I had to let him know right away but I still didnt enjoy the service fully. I thought the massage wouldve been soothing yet my back was sore the following day BUT Im still willing to give them another try & most likely with a different person, preferably a female w/lighter hands or something :)

I went In for hot rocks massage I got a massage which I’m sore from my massage felt a little rough but I’m guessing it’s a deep tissue but i thought she was a good massage just need to not go so deep and hard few times I actually yelled ouch but I’ll come visit if I’m just getting hot rocks no hand massage

Great experience! Able to get weekday afternoon appointments with ease. Price and quality of service is outstanding. I typically pay cash and leave a generous tip (at least 25%) which still totals less than other spots. Very convenient location with plenty of street parking.

Just had a 60 min Swedish massage this morning. This was my very 1st experience having a full body massage, and it was wonderful! Communication is key. She was on my spine at some point, but I asked her to avoid it, and she did. They massage you with the blanket over you first before removing it and using oil.The room was warm and the bed was heated. The blankets are so soft and comfortable too. It was so relaxing I probably would have fallen asleep if I hadnt woke up a couple hours ago lol. They use a generous amount of oil to help give a smooth glide, and they wipe you down with a slightly damp and warm towel at the end. I cant comment on the smell of the oil since my noise was a bit stuffed while laying face down, but when I turned over at the end, there was this lemon scented oil she used on my (upper) chest and neck near the end.I loved the hot stones she used too. She massaged my back and arms with them half way through the session for a couple mins and it was probably my favorite part since I love warmth. Was too hot in the beginning but either they cooled off quickly. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly.First timers, keep in mind that you have to take all your clothes off except your underwear and put them in a basket on the floor or on a hanger. They do massage your rear too, but mainly the upper half. Its a great experience. I would also recommend removing your jewelry. My earrings were in the way lol. I am defintely going back soon.

This place is great and I go there every time I take a relax day off from work for an hour-long massage. The facilities are nice and clean and the staff is always welcoming. And at only $60 for an hour-long massage, the price is totally affordable. Definitely recommended

I had a great experience . I went today for my birthday and this was the most amazing experience . The current deal is 140 for a 120 minute session. I got a facial and a massage. I was so relaxed and it was helpful to destress.

I took my cousin here for her birthday (we are both expecting moms). We had 2 prenatal massages and they were amazing. We both felt so much relief. The facility is extremely clean and beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome. Best of all, the prices are great. We will be regulars here for sure!

I had such a wonderful massage from Amanda at Rock Spa. They were able to schedule me on the same day I called. The place is very nice and the entire experience was outstanding.Best part, which I have never experienced before, is that she used a warm wet towel to wipe off the oil at the end. If felt great and when I left I did not feel all greasy as is usually the case after a massage.

I asked for medium to deep tissue pressure, and ole girl got me all the way together.Nice clean facility a great atmosphere and a friendly staff. When they say full body massage they mean it.This is where Im going from now on for my next tune up lol.

My husband and I came to this spa for our Anniversary for a couples massage and It was a great experience.It was easy to get Appoiment the rates are great and the massage was so good We left the spa feeling light as a feather.Very professional, clean and massage was great.

I went to this spa for the first time yesterday with my best friend to get some massages for my birthday . The experience the space and the massages itself were wonderful and relaxing …however when it was time to pay was when things went left .I paid for a 60 min massage in addition to a tip . However the front desk person put me on blast and asked me if I could tip more in addition to what I tipped already. I was embarrassed and it left a really sour taste in my mouth . Tips are optional! I had all intentions on tipping because the massage went well - but don’t put me on blast because the amount I tipped wasn’t “enough”. For that reason alone I don’t think I would come back . I’ll take my business somewhere where my funds are fully appreciated .

Went in for a massage and facial. At reception, I was hit by the scent ofrotten eggs. Headed to the back where I received a massage in which my pressure points were pinched and fingernails were pressed into the soles of my feet. Despite telling her to stop on the first foot, she did it to the second one as well. The facial was thorough and good, but no explainations about what would happen or what was happening were provided. My skin did look good afterwards.

Wow!! Just had the most amazing 90 minute massage… this place is an absolute gem - new, super clean, friendly and accommodating staff. My massage therapist, Kail, was so skillful and very intuitive. My body tension completely melted away and I can’t wait to go back to see him! Treat yourself here! I’m excited to also try a facial in the future and will report back!

I went to rock spa today. The therapist placed a towel over me and massaged my body with the towel between her hands and my body for the majority of the massage.I had to ask her to use oil and remove the towel so I could feel her touch on my back as opposed to the towel.She removed it for less than ten minutes and begun using it again.In addition she jumped from place to place on my body so the left side was massaged in a totally different way then the right.I couldn’t believe she massaged over the towel so I took a picture. ( see below )

This is a Deep Tissue heaven! When you go please ask for Suki! She is amazing! It you want an affordable deep tissue massage you have to visit this place. All the pain in my lower back went away. Thank you, we can’t wait to book in October!

For someone who comes from the Philippines where you get the most outstanding massage treatments in the whole world, this place is truly a gem in this side of South Orange, New Jersyey. I am very particular with my massage and Tina did a great job! I am booking my treatments regularly. The place is clean, the owner Chelsea is so pleasant and so helpful, and the staff ( though not your normalEnglish speaking associates) make one feel at ease and relaxed. Purchased a deep tissue couples massage for my mom and I for Mothers Day. Beware the deep tissue massage is quite rough so keep this in mind when choosing your massage type. Overall it was a great experience ❤️ The place was clean, calming and the hot stones were soooo soothing. Both my mom and I were so relaxed after as soon as we got home we feel asleep 😅The prices are fair too, not crazy expensive like some other places ❤️Although I personally didnt have anyone bother me about tipping before I left, I do agree with the other reveiwers asking for a tip is a sure turn off for many potential customers including myself.

Rock Spa Club is such an amazing little place. I’m so glad I came here for my first-ever massage. Ivy took care of me - she’s very professional and as petite as she was, she kept up a strong and very satisfying massage for 90 minutes!The owner was also very personable and very sweet. I had to wait for my Uber for a bit, and he sat on the couch and had a pleasant conversation with me. It’s too bad I have to go back to Texas otherwise I would happily return to Rock Spa Club as often as I could!

I’m used to getting facials, and they have been great, however, Ivy at Rock Spa is phenomenal! She massages the face so good and she’s very thorough. I will be booking with her for now on. Also, the spa is beautiful and everyone is very nice. I would like to add that as amazing as my facial was, the noise from upstairs neighbors, the hallways and people talking around the room was loud. It would’ve been nice to have a little music to help drown out the sounds or to encourage relaxation. Also, it took about 15min for my service to start at 11:00am but I was finished at 6 min after 12, and my Ivy left my room for quite a bit to get equipment and other things. So I did not feel I got a full hour, but I will mention this the next time I book. I will definitely be back.

Ok So what a difference a day makes!After a very hectic morning, I arrived to a warm welcoming staff who was able to “ bring me to the right state of Mind”Then I met Jane, the esthetician, who was/is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I felt very relaxed with her during my facials, which, by the way, was the best thing I treated my myself to in a long time.And it goes without saying, I loved loved loved my facial so much, going back to for a massage tomorrow and I will be taking friends!!!

I just had a 60 min massage with Madi(apologies if spelled wrong). It was completely relaxing and in depth. I requested medium-firm massage and she got all of the knots out of my back. She checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and just took her time to make sure I was ok. I will be returning. Very inviting gentleman at the front desk and a very clean establishment ❤️

We drove 55 minutes to check out this spa and it was worth it! Prices were right and emoployees were friendly. Came out of there feeling relaxed and less tense. Masseuse listens to your needs. I would come back and recommend to others.

My two girlfriends and I went on a Sunday night for massages. It is reasonably priced but my friend Sophia had the worst massage. Her therapist had left the room multiple times for long periods of time and it is unfair when it is a timed massage to not get the full length of time. In addition, as well as telling her therapist to go lighter there was never any correction on the pressure. Her therapist was only using one hand while she had her phone in the other.Quick edit: They addressed the issue accordingly and did their best to fix the issue for this! We do appreciate that, as the owner Sung, reached out to speak to us. My other friend and I did have great massages.

I’ve tried this place several times, typically the 1hr massage. I’ve generally been satisfied with the service and tipped accordingly although on two occasions I’ve had to request an unstained towel. I’m sure the towels were clean, but I prefer it be unstained. Prior to my last visit there, I honestly would have given 4 stars, but my most recent visit was unfortunate b/c the owner was passive aggressive about tipping. In fact, he told me that a 20% tip wasn’t enough, the place wasn’t a restaurant. He wanted a tip that would make his employees smile. I was taken aback by the response.Update: updating my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. I decided to give this place another try and after several visits, I’ve had a better experience with the owner, no issues with the towels/blankets. Again, the employees have consistently been amazing, respectful and knowledgeable.

Went there today (12/31/2022) for a couples massage and we honestly got the worst massages ever! We could be wrong but the people who got us today did not seem like licensed professionals. We are still in pain. Our bodies hurt more after the massages than before. We were tortured. Climbing atop us to focus on that one knot on one side for 25 minutes except it was a vertebra! Then scorched by the hot stone. The gentleman greeting people at the front was the best part of the experience. That’s who the star is for. I feel extremely bad writing this review as I love to support, what I assume is a minority owned business. We are not the same. We will write a review in a few days with an update.

My visit to Rock spa was excellent, I got a massage and facial done , the ambience when I enter was very relaxing , Hanna my masseuse had me so relaxed that I dozed for a bit and my facial by Tina was exceptionally. I will be back . Amazing service from front desk and throughout.

This place is amazing! My massage with Tammy was LITERALLY life changing. Felt like every problem I had was dissolved in 90 minutes flat, lol! I’m an avid spa & massage consumer & I’m extremely discerning. I recently had massages at 5 star hotels for over $500 a pop & was so disappointed—they don’t come close to how good Rock Spa Club is especially at $60 per hour. Their brand new beautiful facility & price point combined with the expertise is unmatched! Such a great value. I just hope the costs don’t go up so I can go every week. This place is very clean which is an absolute plus for us and his massage therapist (Ivy) delivered a great massage with just the right amount of pressure. This New place ROCKS!!! Best birthday gift ever and a massage on my birthday! Fantastic Signature massage with Hot stone and Aromatherapy from Tina right here in my home town South Orange. Ive had massages in New York City and in Chang Mai, Thailand. This one is right up there, probably the best one ever.Tina knows her craft. Nice, clean and serene. The interior is just right, love the murals . I highly recommend this new gem in South Orange. Cant wait for my next visit!

A great new addition to Valley Street! My boyfriend and I went for a couple’s deep tissue massage. Everything was super clean and our massage therapists were wonderful! Perfect amount of pressure and really worked every knot out. It was truly a full body massage complete with hot stones and an amazing scalp massage at the end. We also got a punch card for a free massage after five paid massages. We will definitely be back!

My first time visiting was on Mothers Day 5/2023. The masseuse was very attentive to my needs. The staff was very pleasant and my massage was very much needed. I will be back again. The establishment was very clean and serene. The masseuse had left the room a few times to get the supplies which should have been in the room already..that way no time of the customers are taken away...The only thing I didnt like was that after my hour was up as Im leaving I was approached by the receptionist asking did I TIP... 🧐I always tip no matter where I am and when the appointment was reserved the TIP was added then... Please STOP asking the customers if they tipped that is a sure turn off maybe some people finances cant afford a tip.. Other than that I enjoyed my hour of Aroma Therapy, Hot Stones full body massage.

OMG I was driving on my way home and I saw this new massage place, I parked and went in to get some information. I was asked if I wanted a tour and if I had time to get a massage. I am so happy I did. Tammy was my masseuse and she worked out all the tension I had. I feel like a ton of bricks have been lifted. I called my sisters as soon as I got home and told them about it. I will definitely be going back and bringing my sisters. Everyone was super nice and I even received a punch card for a free 30min massage after 5 sessions of 1hr massages. I also drank lots of water after I left. I really needed this. Thank you 😊

Ivy gave me the best experience. I have suffered with back pain for many years, spasms and nerve damage need acute treatment, and only 10% or so of masseuse can handle my needs. Ivy is in the top 3%.Ive been getting massages for over 12 years consistently.... Ive never had such effective treatment delivered so well.Thank you so much.

This spa is so affordable and easy to get to from my house. Every time I come here for a massage I am blown away because the masseuses have been so kind & they really work my body for the entire time. I always leave feeling incredibly relaxed. The staff is very nice and polite!

Clean, comfortable, atmosphere, with great massages. Only thing I find funny is how the masseuse will follow you up to the front and stand behind you until you give a tip. That’s rude but that’s there place of business and I can’t tell them how to run it. Other than that bring cash bcuz they perfer cash over a card.

Rock Spa was an overall good experience, the ladies here know who they’re doing and did an amazing job finding all knots and tightness. My husband and I booked a couples massage and here are our pros and cons…Pros: super clean space, friendly staff, experienced therapists, asked if we were ok and if the pressure was ok several times.Cons: both therapist walk talk to eachother in their language several times and laugh while doing our massages. Happened a total of 3 times and made us feel very uncomfortable as though they were talking about us and laughing. That’s the ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Will not return. We had the first room to the left for a couples massage and it was LOUD. You can hear all of the conversation that happens at front dest. However the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE PART was that a male masseuse massaged me. I was never asked if I wanted a male or female. It wasn’t until I was asked to turn over that I noticed it was a male. Not discrediting males as masseuse but they should ask about preference. I felt VERY uncomfortable to the point that I did s double take. My wife also knew I was uncomfortable. In addition they do not have a parking lot. Two stars because my wife state enjoying her massage. My assumption just like theirs is that because we stated we wanted a couples massage they thought we would be a “heterosexual” couple. Again my assumption since we were given a male and female masseuse. As initially stated. Will not return.

The room had no air circulation. The woman was very sweet but I doubt she was a licensed massuse. During the reflexology portion she basically knuckled my feet for 15 minutes. She left the room 3-4 times instead of having a station in room set up with what was needed. I could here loud talking from the hallway and front desk.

A nice addition to Valley Street in South Orange. Ive been going to a few other area massage places, but Rock Spa Club really relaxes you. The newly updated rooms are quiet, without incessant chatter of employees from other rooms, and light relaxing music playing. Also, lots of street parking available.My 60-minute Swedish massage was just the right pressure from massage therapist Yoyo, who also included hot stones toward the end. And after 5 massages, you receive a 30 minute massage on the house. I will return.

Had a excellent massage today with Ivy. WOW! She was wonderful with the right amount of pressure, intuitively knowing where I needed her attention. I will be back. The spa is beautiful clean and very private.

I didnt enjoy my experience. The towels are cheap and not as clean as they could be. Theres always door slamming and noise going on. You dont get the full attention of the masus as she always runs out every time she hears a noise. There was a sour smell like an uncleaned mop had been used. The staff seems clearly afraid of black ppl, the elder male in particular . Sad in 2023. I do not recommend.

Matty did not do a good job, not as good as Tammy and despite that i tipped her 20$ for poor service. I was more than generous the service cost 120$. She blatantly asked me for more money. Her boss overheard everything and apologized for her but I will not be going back if Tammy is not guaranteed.

Wow! What an amazing experience. I’m in my 3rd trimester and my lower back pain was so severe I couldn’t walk. I just had a session with Kina and I left being able to walk again. The place was clean, and the staff was so nice. Will definitely be returning!

Didnt realize what a Luxury treatment beyond my expectation. The whole Staff were all in uniform and very welcoming. They ask me what were my need; I told them and I was blessed with one of the most lovely massage agent. Her name is Cindy I certify her. I recommend her 100%. The venue and decor of the Roc Spa Club was spectacular and clean. Decor is very important for me. I extended my time beyond the original request because I just wanted more attention to my body as I was grace by the best agent in my mind. So it ended up being a total of 2hrs 30mins.It was also a pleasure at the point of check out; I was fortunate to meet the Owner of the establishment. We had a good conversation along with tea. The Owner Sun made my day extra special by kicking back having fun on some plush sofas. I highly recommend Roc Spa Club for you massage, facial and much more or you will be missing out! 💯👍🏾😉💫

If youre searching for spa experiences similar to SoJo I wouldnt recommend this location. You can hear the traffic and other outside noises in spa rooms. Went for relaxing a couples massage but there was no aromatherapy and the massage was a bit rough. Tried to communicate some preferences to masseuse but I dont think they understood my request.

My daughter and I got the deep tissue massage and the Swedish massage. It was a total relaxing and restorative experience. The new facilities are fantastic.The masseuse was excellent! I highly recommend this place and I’m glad we have it in the neighborhood.
