A few weeks ago I went through the drive thru and asked for a carton of cigarettes and handed the guy my card. A minute later he handed me my carton and my card, I thanked him a drove off thinking everything was fine. Today I go to do the same and as I pull up they are staring at me like there was a problem. Then they tell me my card was declined a few weeks ago and I owe them 80 bucks. My question is why didn’t they catch this error before handing me a carton and my card back. Why didn’t they notice at that moment? Doesn’t the register instantly say declined? I feel as if this was poorly handled and they acted like this was my fault. I will not give them any more business.
