My stylist is so sweet and she did an amazing job. The only complaint I have is the damn sinks. It’s been 2 days and my neck still hurts from the freaking sink. I don’t know why the owner thinks it would be ok to have people resting their heads on glass/porcelain or whatever it’s made of without any type of cushion. My stylist even put a towel under my neck for me but it barely helped. Please get new sinks or at least some kind of padding.

Arianna Akers is the chair for you! From the moment we started the session she took control of the conversation guiding my younger sister through her 3 on the side fade and cropped top. Constantly getting reassurance from her client that they’re comfortable, loving the style, and enjoying themselves. Shes young, talented, and only going to keep getting better I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a stylist. It’s a breath of fresh air to have someone trust worthy and beyond friendly cutting your hair. Thank you Arianna!

LOVED everything about my wedding (I was the bride) hair and make-up done here on Oct 7, 2023!!! Highly recommend Amy Ruble for hair and Marissa Watson for make-up!! They were wonderful. And my hair AND make-up lasted all day & night❤️

Kayla Hooper is a great nail tech! When I payed I had a few older gift cards. The ladies went WAY out of their way to look up info so that they could honor my ridiculously old gift cards! I appreciate greatly that they went above and beyond!!

I paid 113 for a root touch up and trim. Melissa blow dried my hair and strengthened it. I enjoyed her taking care of me. She did a great job!

Erica makes my brows look amazing and Regina does wonders on my pedicures. They’re the best!

They will not tell you about their cancellation policy until you actually cancel, then they charge your card without telling you. Beware. Stylist are great, receptionist and management is awful. Train your front desk better.

My daughter received a gift cards for BJ. When she made the appointment the person told her on the phone she could only get a classic facial that they didnt do the other advertised facials. But she could tell the person doing the facial what she wanted when she arrived. She cancelled her 8am appointment at 7 or 730 am since she was sick Monday morning. Then tried to schedule another appointment on Thursday they did not have a time available that she could go and scheduled it for Friday. They did not notify her of a cancellation policy they have charged her for two cancellation which there was only one appointment.because and said she would be charged a cancellation fee for the Friday appointment she just made. She has no desire to even have one done now and is waiting for the manager to call back.

Reception ruthlessly just charges your card randomly. My grandma passed TODAY and they charged me $29.00 even after cancelling. Soulless salon.

I’m not aware if Erica is still employed here but she was very unprofessional & created a hostile environment when I was an employee. Her & the manager were very close so she didn’t care to hear or understand my side of the story. Favoritism & Drama is big at this location. Plus, it’s a requirement to wear make up - it’s not worth it.

To preface- I used to have good experiences at this place a long time ago but April 8th 2023 was terrible maybe management changed? And I don’t really blame my stylist exactly- more the whole BJ Grand system and the checkout staff. Since it was close to my birthday, I decided to book a special conditioning treatment that was labeled $47 online when I checked out. I had a phone call asking me to come 45 mins in advance so I could get my hair blow dried in time. At the salon, I had the treatment and then was told that I couldn’t have my hair completely dried and that it would be an extra $50 (not even including straightening) and they didn’t have time anyways after I even came earlier. My stylist said, oh since I didn’t do one of the parts of your conditioning treatment I’ll make it even cheaper. I was okay with leaving with wet hair as she implied it would be cheaper than my booked price. So I leave with my pretty much wet hair and then was told at the front I owe $123 for a conditioning treatment with wet hair (again my online appointment was booked at $47 and my stylist said it should be even cheaper) I go back and forth with the beyond confused and judging me staff and then they said oops okay actually it is $63. They seem to guess arbitrarily with the price? I still ask, “what happened to the quoted $47?” And they said “well we don’t update our online prices.” So I left spending close to $75 dollars after tip with wet frizzy hair. Kind of cried a bit in my car as this was super disappointing and wasted money and I looked worse than when I came in. Extremely upset with this business and I will not be going back nor recommending it unless they can do something about this- no need to pay a bunch of money to be treated second class.

BJ Grand salon and spa in Robinson st, keeps your payment/ card information in their system and charges you when you miss the appointment even when you don’t give permission to do so! I usually pay +800 to this salon every year, they prefer to lose a customer for $50! Very smart gesture.

Richard is a magical being and you can’t convince me otherwise. My hair is healthier than before he lightened it. The scientific calculations that went into his formula were beyond my level of intelligence. He’s stuck with me now.

I have seen Cindy for years and she does fabulous work. The hydro facial was unbelievable and she is a master with shaping and tinting brows. I will continue to go to her for all of my needs.

Went there for the 1st time today! Had a wonderful experience. I got my haircut after going somewhere else as they butchered It badly. I got my haircut by Anna and she did the best job ever! She saved my day cuz I was so upset about the way the other place did so bad. Ill only be seeing Anna from now on! Definitely recommend her!

This is a lovely salon. Great ambience and friendly staff. Holly always gives a great cut and style. Will keep coming back. I highly recommend BJ Grand Salon and Spa.

Called yesterday to make an appointment for a partial body massage by Dani. Was told by Mya that the cost was going to be $66. After my massage today, I checked out and the cost was $86. Explained that I was told it was going to $66. Was told that $66 was a starting price and it depends on who you see. If Mya knew I was seeing Dani, then she should have known to quote me the correct price for this service. BJ’S owes me an apology and at least a $20 refund.

Saw Erica for a facial this morning. All I can say it was amazing, she was amazing. I feel great! The massage was sooo relaxing. If youve never experienced this your missing out. Go see Erica at BJ Grand Salon West. Oh and Big thanks to my daughter Jessica for the great birthday present. It was perfect!!

I went to get a haircut and my stylist Anna was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and made sure I liked every inch of my hair and curled it before I left. I felt great leaving and I highly recommend. :)

I scheduled 3 haircuts and 3 white tea masks for my daughters. They have had the conditioning treatments several times before and they were always put under a heater for a while with the tea mask in their hair. This time, the oldest daughter’s stylist left it in for the requisite time but no heat. The stylists for the youngest 2 washed it out right away in the sink. I asked and they said they didn’t have enough time.Everyone was polite but I was charged for 2 treatments that we didn’t receive. This isn’t the first time that we were rushed through without getting what we paid for. I asked for a credit for the tea masks and was denied. Overall, the cut was good, but I was charged for three expensive services we didn’t receive

I have been looking for a stylist comfortable with cutting curly/wavy hair. Tareyn was recommended and she hit it out of the park. My curls are bouncy and light. I will continue to make appointments with her. She did a great job!

This was my very first time visiting Salon, i want to express my full gratitude for the excellent service i have received, i picked deep tissue massage and Dani Renee i was absolutely amazing, highly recommend her to anyone and i noticed this place has many other services that i definitely will explore. My husband went in and booked me a facial and massage around christmas time and we were informed that they doubled booked and we were told we needed to reschedule. We rescheduled for two weeks out and they called us and cancelled our appt. for the second time. I decided this month to try for the third time to get in for a facial and the morning of my appointment they called wanting me to reschedule for yet a THIRD time.

Really nice salon the girl who cut my hair did exactly what I said I wanted. My manicurist was friendly and did a really good job on my nails. They also sell some great hair products some that you cant find in most salons.

Friendly helpful staff, very nice atmosphere. Scheduled a spa day for my girlfriend as a gift, the staff kept me informed discretely without letting the cat out of the bag and blowing the surprise. Highly recommended.

I see Wardell for mani and pedi. She does a wonderful job always.

After 30+ years I will not be turning. My daughter had a horrible experience and was passed off to another stylist. I no longer trust or have confidence in this business.

I had a massage from Nelly. It was amazing! I definitely recommend her.

I love how the workers talk to each other and are so kind to their customers. They ask them about their day and it just seems so gloomy, I love it! I just got my hair done today and Angie, did amazing! I love it!

They are perfect at doing color. I came in with box color. They not only fixed it. They made it better than i could have imagined. It is the most vibrant red. I was so happy i went with them.

They do a good job for the most part, but they aren’t good at keeping schedule. I’ve spend too much time waiting for my appointments. Lucky for them there’s no replacement yet.

I am very much disappointed with the service I have received. I asked to do layers on my hair. I dont know whats wrong but my hair is just the same and there is no such haircut on my hair. I waited one week to see the difference but its still the same. I paid 40 for that no change. LOL

Possible communistic elements on site, which would normally cause loss of stars, except Richard is really good at his job. And I assume would likely not tolerate Pinkoism in his immediate presence, unless related to the dying of hair.15/10. Will have hair cut again.

Two haircuts cost $110 and your hair won’t be even, a haircut should be $20-$30. This place is over priced.

Marissa does great brow work. Richard is the only one that does my hair. He is a master with color. Very professional with high standards.
