Club Rodeo

So far the only C&W dance hall I have found. Not quite what I am used to. But, I can dance here so there is that. The tab was a bit rough thinking they could bring the price of drinks down a bit.

First time here on a Saturday night. So far, it’s a slow start. Not bad. Love the atmosphere here. Will be back again. Wish they had happy hour on Thursdays. Food is awesome too!!

My nephew was moving, and we met there for a send-off. I am 63 and have not been to a Club in years, but have to say I actually enjoyed myself. Although this is a great place for a much younger crowd than myself, music was great, dancing was fun, staff was friendly, and we had the fries for something to munch on. Shot girls were cute but not pushy . Fun place for Bachelor/Bachelorette parties.

Ive had a lot of fun here. Only thing Id say is that one of the bouncers needs to find out what a real Illinois ID looks like. The guy argued with me about my ID and I thought he was going to take it, even though it is my real ID. This was an underage ID because I am under 21, but the situation was very awkward and irritating considering my ID was real. I thought I was about to have to call the cops to get my ID back. Just be cautious coming here because Id hate for someones real ID to be taken because lack of ID education!Edit: Im also aware that Im from out of state, but considering there are SO MANY people around Springfield that are from Illinois since it is a border state, you would think that they would know more about what is a real ID.

So an okay place to country dance until about 11pm. Then hip hop after that. Its funny because when hip hop starts the dance floor empties. I think they should notice this. Im okay if they mix it in, but its not a country dance club after 11pm

Currently here and sitting while in writing this.I’m coming from Texas and by far the worst experience from every country bar I’ve been to.To start off, the drinks are starting at $5 and up. (Beers, Wells/U Call It.) The bartender didn’t know what a blue Hawaiian was and she charged me .20 for pineapple and sprite. A cup of coke/Pepsi was $5.20.Second, the dance floor is always packed with people just standing around. We could not even do any of the line dances when they played. It would be nice if security or management would tell people to get off the dance floor if they’re not dancing.-Edit to reply to owner-Response from the owner: “The .20 is a cc service charge, and we’re a college bar that plays country. You can 2-step and line dance easily until 10:30. Then we throw a party until close. Just a heads up!”^- alright so is every country bar I’ve been to is near a major university. I don’t care about the music y’all play just tell people to get off if they’re not gonna utilize the dance floor. There’s plenty of space on the drink floor to stand around and chat with your friends. :)

Been here a couple times Saturdays happy hour is good, rodeo fries are good but I with the hot wing were hotter.

Great place to dance, no cover charge, go early before the crowd of young people, 7pm to 10

Very good experience. I am from Texas and did not expect a place like the one here but it was really good and they have plenty of options in drinks plus you can play snooker. They dont play sound very loud so if you want to talk to someone it should not be an issue. I dont smoke but they have an outside patio where you can smoke and get back in.

I know this a place for the younger crowd. But us old farts like to party too!🤣 the bartenders and others have always been wonderful and treated me well. Sidenote, the last time I ate there. . Nope

Waited 35 minutes for service, no room to dance, only line dancing if thats what youre looking for. Mostly 21-25 year old crowd.

Are they closed? I know the 4th weekend they were closed but this weekend the haven’t been open I guess?

Great place for dancing, mostly line dancing is what they were doing last night!! Everyone seemed to be having a great time! There was not any live music performances which was surprising since it was Labor Day weekend!! The cover charge was $ 6.00. Drinks were not too expensive, a beer and mixed drink for $ 9.00 and rattlesnake shots $ were 2.00. Really had a good feel to the place especially when more people came in and Everyone got to enjoying the music!! We will definitely go back!! People of all ages just having a good time!!

Don’t like the new wood outside. Can’t see if Ubers are there or anything like that

Please don’t go to this club. They overfill The club, and there’s often no room to walk Or even breathe. And with so many people, you don’t stand a chance at getting a drink at the bar, and if you do, it’s severely overpriced. I used to look these flaws over because I like country music; however, There have been multiple occurrences Where I’ve seen girls who are severely drunk and or roofied, and the bouncers escort them outside and leave them on a bench alone in the cold even if they don’t have a ride planned out yet. I had to help a girl get home last night. After she was kicked out for getting sick in the bathroom, they separated her from her friend. I’ve heard stories of girls getting roofied here because of the poor security. There’s even a story of a girl who was beaten almost to death on the Dance floor, and nobody noticed she’d only be alive today if she hadn’t been able to escape The crowd and get out. Martha’s Vineyard and The Zan are both very safe clubs, and I can tell you I’ve been roofied at Martha‘s, and the bouncers were nothing but respectful and kind and made sure that I was protected and taken care of.

They pollute my apartment complex with loud base at night that makes it hard to sleep so I’d give no stars if I could.

Not a bad vibe. Usually can’t go though unless I’ve had 5 shots of tequila already. It’s a very party/ college person vibe, which isn’t bad if that’s what you’re into.

Concert was fun. Staff seemed new or unprepared. Bar food.

Needs dance floor etiquette, drove 2 hours to dance in a corner. Too many people standing on dance floor talking. Needs to be enforced on microphone to dance not chill on dance floor!

Nice venue. Drinks were slightly pricy, but not too bad. It was fairly packed on a Saturday night. The club seemed to draw in more of a teeny bopper crowd, which wasnt really my scene.

Bouncers do not do their job. How can I fight go on 5 mins and not get broken up by a bouncer? Pathetic. Good way to get a law suit

I had an amazing time just playing pool and having fun. The music choices were good and the bartenders were super nice.

So I actually love coming here, until I went into the WOMENS BATHROOM, and there was a Man thing in the bathroom. I told my boyfriend about it, spoke to the manager, felt like it was delt with when they said it was asked to leave, but didnt happen, my boyfriend was assaulted and nothing happened. So its an OPEN BATHROOM APPERENLY 🤷‍♀️.

Been every night, except on a Wednesday. Great place to go alone or with a group. Mainly a 2-step and line dance bar, but they do mix in some hip-hop, they also have pool and beer pong if you’re not into dancing. If you go before 8PM there’s no cover or Friday a student ID gets you in free all night. Service is good, and the bouncers are cool. Drinks start at $3, but I know they have drink specials although I’m never there before 9, they also have food.

The people are very friendly though this was my first visit. The bar tender (Alice) was a great hostess. Saw her taking care of customers immediately with a smile

It was my first time coming here and it was just ok...I felt like I was just waiting for someone to fight..Mostly country music and lots of young people wearing next to nothing some girls need to have more self respect for themselves but it was alright if thats your thing. Needs more pool tables

Better music if you like country and new pop. The DJ actually takes your requests. Food is good. Drinks are well made. Dance floor can get very packed as people pile in. Not a good place if you want personal space and to dance.

Great atmosphere! The bartenders are sweet and super helpful. The music goes from older country to newer so you get the best of both worlds. Everyone was having fun. Would defiantly come back!!!!

If you don’t know line dances good luck, mostly country, when it’s anything else it’s still line dancing. No diversity and just disappointing. Came for the first time with some friends and we were truly disappointed.

Super fun. Earlier in the evening they played more country music and the dance floor had more room, so if youre into two stepping thats the time to go. Later on, they played more modern stuff and it got really crowded, so if a party atmosphere is what you want this is the place for you.

Clean place with great drinks, music and atmosphere. All the workers are so nice and helped out and made sure our Uber picked us up safely. Shout out to Taylor for helping us out and Eric for having such a great bar. Will be returning. Our birthday girl had the time of her life here and we will be returning! Also be going to the new Wichita location as soon as it opens!

Cassandra is the best bartender! She is always fast, once she knows you she will have your drink ready as you approach her register. The place is usually busy and has a fun environment! Dancing, beer pong, pool tables, appropriate for all types of people. Diverse environment. Great place, check it out!

Clean with great, friendly service. It was somewhat dull the Saturday night I went, but could normally be busier. Great if line dances are what you want, but otherwise not a great music selection. Pregame, drinks are as much as you would expect.

$5 fee to get in Thursday night and it really seemed most of the females were very underage and just wasnt a pleasant place. The bartender was actually pretty cool but the atmosphere was terrible to say the least. Would not recommend going if youre probably 22 or above.

-Bouncers who pick fights.-Needs a new name. Not at all a “Country Bar.”-Not enough pool tables.-Poor atmosphere.I’ve yet to be involved in an altercation with the bouncers. However, I’ve witnessed plenty over the years. They’ll start the fight. They’ll swarm in numbers. And they won’t stop when you’re down.CR has all the potential in the world to be a great hangout. They have ample room, a large dance floor, and good drinks.With that said, you can’t trust security. Hyper, Angry, or Wasted, it doesn’t matter. They won’t try to calm you down. It’s swing first ask questions later for them.

Bar staff is nice and experienced. They get the big +A. The DJ/ipod controller is very inexperienced and doesnt blend the music in at all. Also the music is very very repetitive too. The dance floor is a decent size. Security for the most part are cool but are extremely hot headed and escalate situations that could easily be fixable. I will say the manager is a friendly and a respectful guy. they do offer food here now too and is really good quality food. I would love to rate this place a 5 but it just isnt there yet.

I come from Cali where kids cant have good, wholesome fun without gangs and guns. This place was a Blast. Kids of every age, background, ethnicity coming together to dance the night away.

This place is so much fun! St the beginning of the night until around 10:30 to 11 they play most country music. After that it turns into more of a traditional club. They have a lot of fun event that they put on and deals on different days of the week. I go almost every week and always have a fun time!

First time here tonight and had a fabulous time! Love dancing and the DJ played every song we requested which was very nice! Only thing to change Id not spraying smoke around 10:30. Not good for people with asthma. We had to leave early.

Great atmosphere good drinks. But not a fan of people blowing there vape stuff in my face. They have a section out side for smoking why not make them too. Will give 5 when this happens.

Bouncers don’t know what they are doing, watched a encounter the other night with another man. (I was not involved) let’s just say the bouncers should be fired for how they handled it. No training what so ever. I would never let them work in my bar. I will never be back. Too think they let 18 year olds come too this place. GET A WHOLE NEW BOUNCING STAFF. Or they are gonna get the owner in some trouble.

From Kansas City.. first time here last night and it was a blast! Good drinks and decent prices. Love the vibe and how crowded it can get. Gonna make this a stopping point!!

This is a very young person bar. Loud music tons of drunk people dancing around. If you are going out with a group its a great place with cheap drinks. If you are trying to have a relaxing night out avoid at all cost. 50/50 split between country and hip hop.

My first time here on Halloween weekend. The Atmosphere was diverse and so hype!! I love it and cant came wait to go back.

Definitely a way younger crowd without a doubt but get in where you fit in. Definitely more of a hole in the wall type but all in all great sound experience but money way to expensive but the price to pay to party!

Im an introverted person but everyone I met was so friendly. The staff is very polite and helpful. I spent 4 years in the military and been to numerous clubs and this one has by far been my favorite.

When place first opened up was great loved going there now not so much. They had a bunch of activities like corn hole, darts, beer pong, the punching bag machine, and pool tables. Now its just pool tables that are junk by the way. The have tears in the felt. what they let people put their drinks on them which get spilt and beer pong. So if you into a bunch of drunks looking for a fight or to grind on someone else on the dance floor this is your place. No better then the waste of space clubs down town.

Good drink specials, the staff are cool, lots of space to move around, big dance floor, they play music for everyone (Im not the biggest fan of country music so it was great to hear a variety). They are doing a good job with this club. Plus they have food for when you get the munchies

Went for the first time last night annnnnd I’m not sure I’ll be back. My bartender was great, but my experience wasn’t. It seemed like more than a handful of the people there were underaged and drinking. Someone was smoking weed on the patio and bragging about it to everyone. I witnessed a few bouncers throw this guy out, right? No biggie, that’s tends to happen at a bar. Yeah, well, it is a big deal when he continues to harass said guy’s friend and trying pick a fight with him and then making racial slurs under their breathe when walking away. Way too much drama and the place was full of drugstore cowboys. Definitely not what I was expecting. They could do much better.

Good bar, great music, great staff.The only reason for the 3 stars instead of five. Is everytime I go so many ppl just stand on the dance floor in always in the way. Every country bar Ive been too their policy is if your not dancing get off the dance floor. And no alcohol on the dance floor to make it sticky either. Hey DJ tell ppl to get off the floor.Other than the lack of respect for those dancing by bystanders I love this bar.

Really fun place to visit on a Fri or Sat night. Huge dance floor and a beer pong area! Now if only there were an indoor smoking area in this gigantic place. THAT would be a 5 star bar in my book. 😁

Its an packed frat house with fights every night. If you wanna hang out with college kids and feel like you just turned 21 again, this is the place for you. Great staff for the most part anyways, minus a few bad eggs. But packed to the brim with kids. And Im only 25.

1st time going. Seems like a fun place. Only thing Id recommend is having someone clean the bathrooms more and get locks fixed for the stalls.

Last night was the first time I’ve ever checked this place out, we didn’t even make it through the door. The bouncer meets us at the door, completely rude and disrespectfully takes my buddies ID, puts it his pocket without even looking at it, claiming that it was fake. We’d been all over downtown Springfield all night with zero issues. Leave it to this place to ruin a birthday party! RAT HOLE!

I was the DD so not much fun for me but all my friends had a good time. It was also my first time there and we had been at the Rodeo all day so a lot of us were tired. Not a bad place though, they had a full house thats for sure!

Got there after no. idnite. DJ played a few songs I knew, and the hip-hop I didnt know, the peeps on dance floor were cool. I had a great 90 minutes, rocked out with a young crowd.

As my wife put it....its like the movie Ants in real life haha! Good sized dance floor. They did play a variety of music the night we where there. Drink prices where not terribly high for a bar.

Great drink specials, if you like to dance and cut loose this is the place to be Wednesday- Saturday nights. For those of you that arent quite old enough to drink thats okay too, because its 18+.

Always a fun, very entertaining atmosphere! They welcome every single body! I feel like they are caring and loving to the customers and welcome everybody and to have a great time whether they drink or not!

Absolute trash. People get jumped here weekly. Fights CONSTANTLY that the establishment does nothing about…including women getting beat up by grown MEN. Horrible drinks and all around horrible atmosphere.

Next visit bring a bulletproof vest with you. To make more money the owners let too many people in and guess what? Add alcohol to the mix, too large a crowd and a fight breaks out that the bouncers can’t handle. People get shot along with cars in the parking lot. Great entertainment, not!

Good bar for dancing. Expect it to be loaded with 18-20 year olds. The pool tables, and beer pong tables are always full on the weekends. Decent bar tenders, Inside and outside.

Horrible customer service! Specifically cubby short bouncer was very rude. Trashed underaged kids everywhere! A young boy walked up to me barley able to walk and I had to help him out (not the horrible bouncers)! So many better places downtown for 21 and up!

Tables were sticky, service was bad, staff was rude. I have never been to a club where you bought a jello shot and they made you return it so they could reuse the syringe!!! Absolutely gross, would have never bought it if I had known other people had sucked on it!! Will never go back.

Lame place, bad music, security acts like they’re big and bad when they’re all hicks who sleep with their cousins. Drinks are overpriced and watered down. Wouldn’t recommend, rather walk on glass than go back.

Looked fun but they took my real ID saying it was fake because they used a free app downloaded on their phone from the App Store. Not only did they not let me in, but they took it away from me too. I will now have to wait in the 2 hour line at the DMV before I can drive home tommorow! Not friendly! Horrible customer service! WILL TAKE REAL IDS!

Everyone here is basic. Every girl dresses the same, wearing ass showing shorts or a dress with boots on. And they mostly play country music. So if your country as all get out then go round you up a basic hick. But atleast they do have a decent size dance floor. - Clubs in other citys are so much better. Springfields clubs have really gone lame

Disrespectful bouncers. Trashy establishment. You can use your fake id if you’re wearing very little though. This place is only an acceptable hang out for the underage crowd. Otherwise, you’re pathetic.

Decent priced beer and good amusement for people that are interested in dancing. I like the music and pool tables. Hopefully get job as security though

Busy place but always able to get a drink in a short amount of time. Over half of all goers are underage. It gets pretty crowded on Fridays and Saturdays.

Best place to go when u want to dance and have some fun with friends bartender are always nice and for sure make u a great drink going back for sure here soon

Club rodeo is the best club in Springfield! They’ve got music for everybody and the food they serve is amazing! They have a good security staff as well, I always feel super safe

Went with my fiance and my little brother. Had an amazing time between the dance floor and the beer pong table. Was absolutely awesome! Would go again

Club rodeo isnt simply just a place to go drink and line dance with friends. It is a place where memories are made and dreams come true. There isnt another place in all of springfield, or in the US for that matter, where one can find a place to really experience unfiltered happiness to the degree that this place can help you achieve. It isnt simply just a club... Its a home.

First time going there and it was nice but if I wanted to see girls take off their tops with lingerie underneath I would just go to the strip club. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Had a lot of fun, wouldve been 5 stars if it had free pool or atleast cheaper since entry was already 15 dollars but overall good club.

I absolutely love everything about this place!! It doesnt matter if theres 50 or 150 people there--it is always the best atmosphere!!! Plus best DJ in town.

You have pretty girls nice waitresses and good time on the Dance Floor they repeated the two-step a lot but I like to go there and be myself and do my own thing its a good time

My wife and I visited for about an hour. Its not our style(were probably old), but it seems like a good place to dance and have a drink.

Basically if you want the possibility of being shot, men thinking they can invade women’s restrooms and stalls just to maybe catch one minor taking a drink, or maybe even being nearly beat to death by employees then this is for you, however I will pass and this place needing to be shut down is so long overdue.

My grandma won the ass contest here 10/10 best moment of my life ever. If you want to get out and dance and have drinks and good times go on a Thursday

Huge, loud, and full of the 18-21 crowd. Its good for what it is, but if you dont like line dancing, try somewhere else.

We had a gathering of coworkers, the music was good, they have a really nice set up including a big dance floor and friendly staff.

This is a great place to go and hang out with ur friends and line dance and just have a great time

If country music, over-priced liquor and a bunch of hillbillies smushed into one small building sounds appealing to you, then this is the place to be.

Great environment with people that actually want to have fun great dj great security great bartenders great waitresses clean restrooms even in the middle of the night great dance floor no hassles just fun and i love it

Bad atmosphere, bad employees. Look at the amount of people who have suffered abuse by the staff.. Just my opinion but would think twice before setting foot at this establishment.

If you want to dance this is not the place to go. People just stand on the dance floor and no one makes them move so there is no room to dance.

Pool tables were sticky and definitely not level. The crowd and service was pretty good though.

Its a nice enough place, but its usually SO packed that people are spilling outside and youre constantly touching shoulders with someone.
